3402 – June 11, 2024 – From the Sublime to the Ridiculous – Daniel Turner of Power the Future joins us today to talk about the many magnificent and marvelous benefits of fossil fuel. Fossil fuel has saved an exponentially larger number of lives than “climate change” will ever take. (if you believe “climate change” is man made, and if you believe it poses any threat to mankind at all) CO2 is good for you, and fossil fuels are too!

[00:00:00] Hey, where you going? I gotta get home. America, it's time to come home. It's time to come home! By bringing common sense back into the nonsense. Welcome to Common Sense Coalition Talk Radio, where America comes home.
[00:00:21] Down this dirt road you're gonna find determination and grit, opinions that matter, and a big ol' helping of good discernment. And now, the woman that wishes the DC Occupiers would stop making her use her mom voice. Do not make me come down there.
[00:00:35] Here's your host and the voice of common sense, Beth Ann. And I welcome you today to CSC Talk Radio. It's my honor, my privilege, and my pleasure to be here with you today.
[00:00:47] I got to spend Saturday with that boy you just heard. Do not make me come down here. That was his wife actually, mimicking me.
[00:00:54] And it was a good time. We had a good time and he and I did a little recording together, which I'll surprise you with here in the next couple of weeks.
[00:01:03] Let's go to the Lord in prayer. For such a time as this, how most gracious Heavenly Father, we come before you. We thank you for your love and your grace and your mercy. We thank you, Father, for your saving grace, for sending your Son.
[00:01:21] And Father, we ask for your forgiveness for our sins as individuals and Father, for my sins and for the sins of this nation. Father, we can see that our turning away from you has affected a lot of people and other nations.
[00:01:44] So may we be strong in our faith and obedient in our walk. I ask for your protection, Father, over President Donald J. Trump and all those who are around him, for the J-6 prisoners and others who are imprisoned unjustly.
[00:02:06] May they know we have not forgotten them and that we're working our way back. Father, keep them safe. May they feel your presence. I thank you for the hostages that were, they weren't released, but they were rescued this weekend. I pray that more will be brought home.
[00:02:31] And Father, they have a long road ahead of them after all they've endured. May they feel your presence. I thank you, Father. For today's show, I pray that we will bless you as we try to do good work for you,
[00:02:47] to advocate for good things in this country, for the betterment of people. I thank you for Daniel, for power of the future, for what they are doing, boots on the ground. Keep them healthy. Keep them strong. May they go forth in your wisdom.
[00:03:10] For such a time as this, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. From the sublime to the ridiculous, that's what came to my mind today. It's an old saying implying that something once considered good and important has now reached that point of silly and insignificant.
[00:03:31] Although I'm not positive that these climate change earth worshipers ever intended good for humanity. Not your humanity anyway. I just read that Vermont passed a state law intended to charge oil and gas companies for the damages caused by climate change. What? What damages have been caused?
[00:03:54] There's no truthful evidence in their claims. And suing Exxon and other companies is foolish and nonsensical, albeit it's a money-making tax scheme. I'm no genius, but maybe the Exxon lawyers should gather up evidence to the fact that,
[00:04:11] and I mean facts, plural, that people's lives have been saved because of fossil fuels. Millions of people. Medicines cannot be provided without petroleum. No Vicks, no Vaseline, no Aspirins, no body lotions or face creams, none of that. Power tools cannot be run without fuels.
[00:04:32] So no building of offices and homes and manufacturing industries. Farmers would not be able to produce food, and if they did, they couldn't even deliver it to your grocery stores without fossil fuel. Life-saving surgeries would not be possible without fossil fuels.
[00:04:51] You cannot heat or cool your home. Cook your food. And what about firemen? How would they be able to rescue those dying kitty cats stuck up in the trees, or families stuck in burning homes? No rescues after natural disasters, which are natural, not man-made. Not without fossil fuels.
[00:05:14] You can't rescue people from fires, tornadoes, hurricanes, or earthquakes. There'll be no rescuers without fossil fuels. No police. No police rescuing you from the bad guys, and they won't be able to cut you out of your car after an ex-
[00:05:29] Oh, wait a minute. You wouldn't have a car without fossil fuel. No roads, no concrete, nada. The ladies who love changing their hair color, or camouflage, I call it, or wearing makeup, neither would be available without fossil fuels. No makeup, no shampoo, nothing.
[00:05:47] Might as well start a global nudist camp, because you can't have clothes without fossil fuels. Oh, and all those artistic protests, banners, and posters. No Sharpies, we've been told, without fossil fuel. No tents, no blankets, no food trucks.
[00:06:04] Remember they wanted food trucks because they were hungry when they were protesting. Nope, not without fossil fuels. And what about all those who want abortions? The lovers of death. You can't even have an abortion without fossil fuels. Of course, now wait a minute.
[00:06:19] That might be a legitimate reason, because we would save lives there. But those aren't the lives they want to save. John Kerry couldn't keep up his fight against humanity without lots of fossil fuels,
[00:06:32] not to mention amount of uses in his hair and those nicey-nice suits that he wears. And what about our pretend president? He couldn't wear his depends without fossil fuel, or go to the beach and set up his plastic lounge chair, not without fossil fuel.
[00:06:48] It seems to me that there's more evidence that fossil fuels save lives, millions of lives, and improve the quality of life than there is that they've damaged the atmosphere or killing the Earth we live on.
[00:07:01] Perhaps a good lawyer could bring up such evidence to the Vermont governor in Congress. I don't believe there was ever any sublime intent. Vacid rain, global cooling, global warming. Now for a lack of evidence, they call it climate change.
[00:07:16] But the intent was always led by elites who want absolute global power and to control all human life. Elections around the world are proving that humans are kind of fed up with this hoax and the dangers their lives have been put in.
[00:07:32] Globals elites are opening up the borders and blaming the influx of immigrants on climate change. People are done with it all. We see the ridiculous intent, and we call it tyranny. You can bet your bottom, Bippy. No elite will ever give up his fossil fuels.
[00:07:49] Not only will the elite not give up their fossil fuels, they're going to grow rich, changing your lifestyle and forcing you to abide by their climate change agenda. We all see it, and that people are done with it. What do you think, Daniel?
[00:08:07] Don't you think a lawyer or good lawyer could just turn that stuff around? I think you are a wonderful fossil fuel apologist, and I appreciate the wonderful intro and support for this crucial industry. And that's not because you're a far-right activist or it's not because you're pro-Trump.
[00:08:24] It's because you are the name of your radio show. You are common sense. And common sense says we need fossil fuels for the quality of life that we have right now. Don't you believe that has saved more lives than – they won't admit that. And they have to.
[00:08:41] If you get them on the stand, if you get them there and you put them in a corner, they have to admit that fossil fuels has saved lives. Absolutely. Absolutely. And that's why they have to talk about the harm fossil fuels have done in these large generalities.
[00:08:57] The Vermont law, for example, that you pointed out, which is similar also to the law they passed in Hawaii, just blames weather on climate change. Well, that's pretty vague on purpose. Well, we do always get up in the morning and wonder what the climate is.
[00:09:15] What's the temperature today? Is it going to rain? Is it not going to rain? But I don't believe Exxon has anything to do with that. I hear the music. We're headed into a break.
[00:09:24] Let's talk about this and talk about some of the things that have been going on. I think the people around the globe are a little bit sick and tired of this crazy agenda by the lefts.
[00:09:35] You're listening to CSE Talk Radio. This is Beth Anne with Daniel Turner of Power the Future. They've got power in the future. They're out there advocating for common sense. We'll be right back. Daniel Turner, founder and executive director of Power the Future,
[00:10:05] agrees that America is blessed with an abundance of reliable energy sources. Our natural resources are the lifeblood of our nation and have made our nation prosperous. Rule America is the heart of production in this nation. Our food, manufacturing, trucking and yes, our energy.
[00:10:22] Power the Future promotes jobs in Rule America, specifically our energy jobs. These jobs are all under attack. Wealthy radicals like Tom Steyer and George Soros promise to break the nation's energy independence. Their beloved Green New Deal attacks all that is good in this nation.

[00:11:12] The nutritional product Immuno 150 is an incredible supplement that contains 70 plant-derived colloidal minerals plus 80 additional nutrients. This whole month's supply of 150 incredible ingredients is available for $59.95. Immuno 150's base of 70 minerals is what accounts for its unbelievable 95% reordering. Bethann has been behind the microphone for almost 30 years fighting to bring America home. She brings her unique perspective drawing from her many life experiences and her love for God and country.
[00:12:27] As a young girl, her family moved from the big city to a small rural community where she would grow up, marry her husband, and together raise five sons.
[00:12:34] Along the way, she worked in factories, retail, sales, and medical clinic and now lights up the airwaves on CSE Talk Radio. As the DC occupiers continue to drive our society into socialism and anarchy, the message to bring America home grows more crucial by the day.
[00:12:50] Bethann brings that message with contagious passion wherever she speaks. Schedule Bethann to speak to your group today by calling 573-796-2166. Bethann with Daniel Turner. You know, Daniel, when I saw that article and I saw that on your website, powerofthefuture.com, I just thought how ignorant.
[00:13:19] But of course it's characteristic of government. They'll tell you something is bad and then if you use it they're going to tax you. But this is a punishment. This is for damages done, but they can't prove there's any damage. It's kind of like Trump's trial.
[00:13:37] They can't find what he did. They just know he did something. And so they found him guilty 34 times or something like that. It's like it's ridiculous. And it's also the result of failed government. We have to remember a lot of our blue states are completely bankrupt.
[00:13:56] California has a hundred billion dollar budget shortage. That's a lot of money. Vermont probably is in a similar situation proportional to Vermont's size. So this is a cash grab.
[00:14:10] If you're able to, if you as a government, and I've said this many times on your programs, I'm not an anarchist. I believe there is a role for government and there are responsibilities of putting government's hands. But the government does those jobs very poorly.
[00:14:26] So if you run a state like Vermont and you're in charge of levees and canals and waterways and you don't maintain them, and then you happen to have a horrible storm and a very snowy winter with a lot of snow melting
[00:14:40] and you get this huge runoff and these floods and you say, well, golly, I mean, we've the state's in bad shape. It costs hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars in building fees and insurance fees. How are we going to pay for this?
[00:14:58] Well, how about we just blame climate change? And that's all this is. This is we've talked about this before when it came to Hawaii. Hawaii was diverting resources meant to upgrade its electric grid towards building wind and solar power.
[00:15:15] And then they had their job of maintaining grasslands and keeping vegetation at bay. Everything was overgrown. They had a terrible lightning strike. The whole city burnt down. What do they do? They blame climate change. Why?
[00:15:31] Because they don't have the money to solve their problems and they don't run what they're in charge of with any integrity. They run it poorly. Everything is mismanaged.
[00:15:45] So this is a perfect way to get money from a company or an industry that you hate and wash your hands of being lousy governors because it's not my fault the levees all broke. It's climate change's fault. So it's a win-win if you're a dishonest leftist.
[00:16:02] You know, I wrote an article on Substack Friday governing like gangsters. And that's basically what they do. You know, they'll just claim something and then they're going to charge you for it. They're going to punish the people every time. And who gets that money?
[00:16:19] It's not that we never see. OK, so say they sue somebody for something the government does or they fine you. Where does that money go?
[00:16:30] Does it go into better the people or does it go into these departments so that they can get raises or better perks or something like that? I mean, I don't know. I'm just asking where does that money go? Yeah, no, that's a great question.
[00:16:46] No one knows where that money goes. It will go to just the large slush fund of state government. And then they will have this huge bucket, a huge chunk of money to spend on their little pet projects.
[00:17:00] Look at the Inflation Reduction Act is a wonderful example of that. Inflation was the hot topic in 2022 because it was running at almost 10 percent.
[00:17:10] So they said if we pass this legislation with no Republican support, but we call it an inflation reduction act, we've allocated a trillion dollars to fight inflation. And then as soon as it passed, they said, well, actually, it's not about inflation. It's about the climate.
[00:17:26] Well, they just wanted money. That's all they want. They'll do anything they can. You know, it's very frustrating. I was thinking this the other day when I saw a tweet by Senator Elizabeth Warren, of course, blaming corporate greed and I'm going to take on the greedy.
[00:17:42] And no one is greedier than Democrats in government. There is not a sector of society that they look at.
[00:17:49] There is not a thing in your house that they don't try to find a way to tax and to confiscate just a little piece of it and to regulate just a little bit. The government's greed is absolutely insatiable.
[00:18:02] Oh, she wasn't greedy or selfish in any way, shape, size or form when she pretended to be an indigenous person. Yeah, exactly. I mean, that wasn't, you know, obviously. Well, my parents told me I was. Well, you know, I wrote another substack yesterday.
[00:18:19] I'm not trying to pull my substacks up here. But the Congress and they're very proud of themselves because they either write a letter or not. You know, I'm kind of not impressed when they write letters anymore.
[00:18:31] I'm considering them all to be pen pals between the DOJ and their committees and everything. And but this is they're putting in another bill, another act, and they're calling it the Crimes to Cut Act of 2024.
[00:18:46] So in this, there's they admit that there are so many federal laws, Daniel, that people can't even know if they're breaking them or not. So they want to basically my understanding, they're going to categorize them, list them and and list what they really are and blah, blah, blah.
[00:19:02] They didn't say they were going to eliminate any of them. I'm thinking of all the problems we've got right now. They were claiming this was going to help with the weaponization of federal laws in some way or shapes. That's not what happened with Trump.
[00:19:18] They just made up stuff. They didn't follow any law that was there or anything. I just see these people as being pretty much useless anymore. That's just my opinion. I agree with you completely. And, you know, they're all there.
[00:19:33] There's a new trend that they're trying to push right now. The left about crime in general, because the FBI came out with a report about how crime is down nationwide. Surprise, surprise. They just this report just came out and crimes down 25 percent across the board.
[00:19:50] Murder is down 25 percent. Rape is down 25 percent. And then folks who know crime statistics dug into it and said, well, that's just because none of the big cities are included in this report. So how accurate? And I tweeted this right before the show began.
[00:20:06] This is where they treat you like children. And these are the games that we play to put our kids to bed at night and the games that we play because they are children.
[00:20:16] They're kind of fuddled numbers and truth. And, oh, no, that doesn't come on on Tuesday night. Baby, that program only comes on on Wednesday night because you want the kid to go to bed. This is what our government's doing to us.
[00:20:28] So they're just lying about the numbers the way they lie about climate change, the way they lie about education numbers. You know, we stop testing children and then we say our kids are getting smarter. Our government that treats us like we're a bunch of children.
[00:20:43] Oh, you know, they hear several years ago they they weren't going to give diplomas out for high schoolers. And I think that was in the state of California. You know, you got a diploma whether you passed or not. That's what it was.
[00:20:54] You got a diploma whether you passed or not. I think that's what it was. It makes absolutely no sense. But if it's good on paper when they want to do data and statistics. But the children are suffering.
[00:21:09] The people are suffering from the lies and the the ridiculousness that that continues to go on. There was no sublime ever intended. I don't believe there might have been a few people that thought, yeah, maybe we need to look into this.
[00:21:22] You know, when they were claiming acid rain and then it was global cooling and then it was global warming. When we couldn't substantiate any of what we call it climate change. So now we're going to punish people.
[00:21:37] But they're going to get rich while they're doing it. And we see that happening. And that's the real evil of the Green movement on multiple levels. The Green movement is punishing American families. It's making life very expensive. It's making the cost of all goods and services incredibly expensive.
[00:22:02] But there are bad people profiting at the same time. And that's why, you know, that's ultimately what got me off the couch to say I have to do something about it because it's not just that they're peddling a bunch of lies.
[00:22:14] It's that some bad people are are making a lot of money in the process and by bad people all point specific to names. People like Tom Steyer, who his hedge fund invests in some of the largest foreign mineral and coal plants around the world.
[00:22:30] Tom Steyer will tell you he thinks we have to ban fossil fuels, but he wants nine year old girls in Indonesia to be working in coal mines.
[00:22:38] He doesn't want 40 year old guys in West Virginia as coal miners because those 40 year old guys want weekends off and they want health insurance. And they want, you know, a fair salary. The nine year old slave children in Malaysia are very, very good for profit.
[00:22:56] And so Tom Steyer will tell you no climate, no fossil fuels, but he makes millions, billions off of slaves. And I think we're going to see that in. Well, I don't know. I think the people are rising up against it.
[00:23:10] They talk about we've lost and that's just the immigrants that we've lost 80 some thousand children here. We can't account for. Where are they? What are they doing? Are they sending them over to Indonesia to work in the slaves? I mean, something's going on now.
[00:23:25] We just got some breaking news. I don't have anything on it other than they say that Hunter has been found guilty on all charges. And we'll see what happens after that. Maybe him and Trump will get a room together in the prison.
[00:23:39] I don't know. You're listening to CSE Talk Radio. This is Beth Ann with Daniel Turner of Power, the Future. And we'll be right back.

[00:25:07] But now we hear terms such as global governance. Henry Lamb's book, A Short Course in Global Governance, is a clear education indeed regarding the importance of knowing and understanding global governance. Do you believe the UN should have power over the United States or any other nation?
[00:25:23] With global governance, there is no sovereign United States of America. Read firsthand and learn the true agenda of global governance. America says private property shall not be taken for public use without just compensation. However, global governance says private ownership of land contributes to social injustice.

[00:27:31] The future of this nation is relying on the bended knees of the people, God's people. Will you accept this challenge to sacrifice five minutes a day to kneel and to pray? For such a time as this, Queen Esther was put in place by God to save her people.
[00:27:51] You have that same obligation now. Will you humble yourselves and pray, ask forgiveness and trust in our God to heal our land and bring America home? And we have returned. You're listening to CSE Talk Radio. This is BethAnn with Daniel Turner.
[00:28:12] You know Daniel there's been a lot going on and I kind of went off on what I'd seen on your website about Vermont.
[00:28:19] But I'm going to kind of turn it over to you about what's going on because I know you know there's more than just Vermont to consider. And so I'm just going to kind of let you tell my listeners what's really happening across the land.
[00:28:31] Well, I have an op-ed coming out in the New York Post and it's about this exact issue and it's how the environmental movement as a whole seems to be failing.
[00:28:40] And I think we saw that in Europe over the weekends with the European Parliament elections where the Green parties were destroyed. And why wouldn't they be? They can't point to any success. All of the success the Greens can point to are symbolic, right?
[00:29:00] We've built more wind turbines than ever before. We've invested more in wind and solar than ever before. But what has it done for the people? Is your life better? Are groceries more affordable or easier to get your hands on? Is life easier? Are utility bills better?
[00:29:23] So they can't point to any success that the Green movement has done other than phony symbolic metrics that they themselves have put into place. By 2025, 15 percent of Germany will be covered in solar panels.
[00:29:39] Yay! Why is that a successful? Why is Joe Biden's metric by 2030 half of all cars that sold in America will be EV? Why? What's the value in that? Does that make people, does it make life better for the American people?
[00:29:56] Of course it doesn't. It's a silly political victory which sounds very much like any state-run economy would have. Totalitarian regimes have those all the time.
[00:30:10] So my op-ed and what I think is important going into this election is that the Greens got destroyed in the European parliamentary elections because life in Europe has become expensive.
[00:30:22] It's become dangerous. Putin is stronger than ever before. Not to mention they are overrun with illegals just like we are here in America. So why would I support this party? Why would I support this agenda?
[00:30:37] Because people like the United Nations and John Kerry and Greta Thunberg are telling me this is what we have to do. My life as a German right now is worse than it was a couple years ago.
[00:30:49] And we can say that as Americans, our life as Americans right now is definitely not better than it was four years ago. You can maybe say it's the same. Most people would say it's worse, but very few people can point to the fact that life is better.
[00:31:05] And we've had four years of these Green policies. So I think that is going to be the talking point going into November and it should be. It should be for President Trump. It should be for every gubernatorial candidate, every Senate candidate.
[00:31:18] How is life ever, it's Reagan's immortal phrase. Ask yourself, are you better off than you were four years ago? And no American like you and I, Bethann, can say yes it is. Some hedge fund guys can. Tom Steyer can. But most Americans cannot.
[00:31:39] Well, his is only better because he's profiting off of the lie that he's pushing. That's the only reason his life is better. And so down the road when we realize that and all the truth comes to fruition that these solar panels, they're not sustainable and they're not biodegradable.
[00:32:01] And these wind turbines, we see that they're killing birds when they're on the land. They're killing the sea life when they're out at sea. And when we realize that people are freezing and they're dying because they don't have the electricity, we've had brownouts, we've had this and that.
[00:32:17] Can we sue them for damages? That's a great point. We should be able to. Absolutely. We already know they're killing the whales. The whales are beaching up. They're going nuts.
[00:32:29] And where's the people with the Free Willy movie? I remember Free Willy back in the day. My kids were still... You were young then because you're the same age as my oldest son.
[00:32:39] And we were talking about you this weekend. I don't know if your ears were burning or not, but it was a good thing. I've written a new ad for Power of the Future and it's way past time.
[00:32:49] And I had my son Alden who is the same age as you help me put it together. So I'll just give you a little hint before I even begin to push Power of the Future. There's a great big clap of thunder.
[00:33:04] And then when we're done, there's another great big clap of thunder. I wanted to put it in there. I see your lightning bolt on your logo and I just love it.
[00:33:12] And so I thought, you know, we need to work on that. So I hope you like it. It'll be out here in the next couple of days. That's wonderful. Yeah, you raise a great point and it's something Power of the Future would like to do.
[00:33:25] You know, we are engaged right now in over 40 different lawsuits. I don't like going to court. It's expensive. Lawyers are very expensive, but sometimes I don't have any recourse. But if I did have more resources and more interest in Power of the Future,
[00:33:43] I would love to be able to sue some of these environmental groups for the damage that they've done. You know, every time there is a blackout and a brownout, people's lives are in danger.
[00:33:53] And we have blackouts and brownouts more and more because we're pushing towards this unreliable wind and solar. And we're pushing towards unreliable wind and solar because these green groups are electing politicians and spending hundreds of millions of dollars to force us to use it.
[00:34:11] And they're the ones responsible. But they're not the ones who ever suffer the consequences of their policy. When there's a brownout in Texas, like there was after those terrible storms in 2021, and 70 people died,
[00:34:28] I don't even know one of their names, Beth Ann. And I do this for a living. There were 70 nameless, faceless people. And we say, boy, that was tragic. Right? A nine-year-old boy froze to death in his trailer. Boy, that was awful. That's terrible.
[00:34:43] And we cry and we mourn and we say, that was devastating. That's not enough. No. They need to be held responsible. Absolutely. People who pushed wind and solar on Texas, they're the ones who are guilty of the death of those 70 people
[00:34:59] because Texas used to have natural gas and coal. And it didn't have brownouts and blackouts, but it does now. Just like all of America used to have reliable electric grids. Our grandparents never talked about brownouts and blackouts, and they lived during the war.
[00:35:17] And yet now we talk about it like it's commonplace. And that's not the new normalism of something we should ever accept. Well, and I think you were telling us a while back about, you know, they're trying to force these electric vehicles on people in the state of California.
[00:35:35] And then when things got tough, they told them, well, don't plug them in tonight. No plugging them in. And we've all heard some of this. You know, you should do your laundry between this hour and this hour because this hour is too...
[00:35:47] Everybody's doing their laundry, so you shouldn't do your laundry then. I mean, we heard that. I think it was the Carter administration when some of that was going on. It's unnecessary. Yeah. Yeah. And that it is not incumbent upon us to curtail or to alter our lifestyle
[00:36:07] because the government is failing at its job. It is your job to do what is necessary to provide us with electricity. We pay our bills. You know, if I decide not to use my laundry machine today, as you're asking,
[00:36:21] will you give me a discount on my bill? No. My bill has gone up 30 percent. Every electric bill in America has gone up 30 percent since Joe Biden became president. So why do we... You know, it's the same as us banning plastic straws.
[00:36:36] You know, China is the one polluting the oceans, but we have to drink out of gummy paper straws. And then to tie it all together, because I think we should talk about the president's degenerate son, to tie it all together, we're drinking out of paper straws.
[00:36:54] But Joe Biden is flying back and forth from France every day for a trial. On my dime. Yeah. On my dime. And... What about the climate? And those plastic straws, the only reason we got plastic is because they banned the paper straws when I was young
[00:37:11] because we were killing too many trees. And here we know that the eagles and the birds are getting killed with these turbines, and we know that the sea life is being damaged with the turbines out at sea.
[00:37:25] And where's the ASPCA and HSUS and all those who love the animals so much? No, they'd rather attack somebody like you raising sheep than go after the real damage that's being done. Now, hear the music. We're headed into a break.

[00:42:24] I know you've seen him on the networks. He does a lot of that as well as just plain old boots on the ground. Daniel, we do appreciate all that you do and we're excited about you coming in September.
[00:42:36] I've been pushing that and I have had a burden lifted from my shoulders this weekend as I finally got a caterer. I was a little worried I was going to have to cook everything myself. So I've got a caterer and the unfortunate thing is we're not having mutton.
[00:42:54] Oh boy, that's okay. I eat plenty of lamb here. I have freezers full of lamb. So she might be interested in that because she's all organic. She raises her own food. She has beef cattle herself plus farmers that are local. She gets all the food from them.
[00:43:17] She said everything is organic and homegrown. So we're going to have pulled pork and we're going to have Tuscan chicken, Tuscan-y chicken and a few other things. A salad that she's created and her own dressing. She went to school. She's about your age.
[00:43:31] I think she went to school with my oldest son. So we're pretty excited about it. It's a burden lifted off of my shoulders and caramel apple crisp is going to be one of the desserts and a devil food, devil food,
[00:43:46] and she cake I believe. That's what I ordered from her. So we will eat good and we will have a great time with Patriots. So we do thank you. We're looking forward to meeting you again. It's been a long time and having a good time.
[00:44:03] Mindy will be on tomorrow and you're going to meet Mindy that day too because she's going to be one of the speakers. Property rights. It's all about property rights and climate change is infringing upon that. It's all about taking away. I'm going to turn that over to you.
[00:44:21] It is. And it's such a valuable point. That's why I love so many of your sponsors and the friends of your show because it all does come down to personal property
[00:44:30] and autonomy. And those are the values that our founders launched the revolution because of these were these were ideas in their head. No country in the world had ever said that you have the right to private property. We had talked about it. Adam Smith had talked about it.
[00:44:50] But but no one had John Locke had talked about it, but no one had actually seen it implemented. And then here are this group of patriots who went to war because they wanted to prove that people could live freely and have their private property.
[00:45:09] And often this is just just they use the environmental movement, they use animal welfare movement, whatever the guise is. But it always comes down to confiscating your property, confiscating your rights, limiting your mobility, limiting your freedom. And and that doesn't surprise. It shouldn't surprise us.
[00:45:33] It shouldn't surprise anyone because that is, I think, human nature. I think that is the nature of society as well. I think if anything, history has told us is that tyrants and authoritarianism tends to be the norm.
[00:45:51] We've always had kings and Caesars and czars and and lords and dukes and heads. And we've always been subjugated to someone who has power. And that power is money and it's an army.
[00:46:06] And it's taken ten thousand years to whittle away at that and say, no, people have dignity and autonomy and they have inalienable rights that are that are self evident.
[00:46:24] So it shouldn't surprise us when we have people like John Kerry who say, we're going to tell you what car to drive. That's not radical. And that's something I've been thinking a lot about recently. It's not radical to be a communist. It's not radical to be an authoritarian.
[00:46:40] That's normal. Right. The radical ones are us who say Bethann on her property and her farm has all of the dignity and rights to make whatever decisions she feels best for her and her family.
[00:46:55] That's the radical approach. So we have to remember, we're the ones who are outside of the norm. It is normal for people to run to government to say, tell that person to stop doing things that I don't approve of. That's kind of the history of mankind.
[00:47:10] We're the ones who are who are really radical. And that's where I love the people who were part of your program because they all have those beliefs of our founder of our founders. I'm going to try also and add another speaker onto the docket if he'll come.
[00:47:29] And his name is John. I won't give his last name until I can get him here, but he has a lot of land and it's like seven generations now. And some of it is River Bottom. And he has to fight all the time with the Corps of Engineer.
[00:47:48] And he can tell you that some of these floods that come come because of what the Corps of Engineer is doing. And the years, he said the years we have a big flood, that's the years they ask for more money.
[00:48:00] And he said because it's what they let out above, you know, up river and all this and that. And he really has a fight with them because he's got River Bottom land and they want to rewild the land.
[00:48:15] We had the terrible flood in 93 and the conservation department here in the state of Missouri took a lot of land. That's never going to be productive again as long as government has it. Yes, and that's standard, right? Government is always trying to confiscate land.
[00:48:32] And when Biden is doing what Obama did, as soon as you get the chance, grab land and put it into Washington, D.C., not for the good of the country, not for the good of even nature. That's all an excuse. We're doing this to protect.
[00:48:47] No, you're not. You're just doing it because that is natural for authoritarians. They steal and they confiscate and they limit what you what free people are allowed to do. And ultimately, after 60 years of doing this, Joe Biden is the ultimate authoritarian. He believes in government.
[00:49:08] He does not believe in free people. He does not believe. That's why he's been in government. And sadly, so many Republicans are the same. That's why they've been in the Senate for 30 and 40 and 50 years. They believe government is the good guy.
[00:49:21] They believe government knows better and that we should all just listen to what government is doing. And maybe that's the only silver lining that came out of covid when enough people said, but what you're telling me to do is bad. But I still have to do it.
[00:49:39] Oh, well, now I realize what's bad is you. It's tyranny. Covid broke the trust of the American people and that's a good thing. I think it is. That's the one silver lining there.
[00:49:50] And I believe the silver lining coming out of some other things are that people have woken up. Awakened? Is that the right word? Trump's trial. Look what it's done to people everywhere. Those who were anti-Trump are all of a sudden, you know what?
[00:50:05] I kind of like this guy. He's a fighter. I'm going to stand with him. They're wearing T-shirts say some of my best friends are felons. I mean, it's just crazy what's going on. And those who have been unjustly accused by government, they relate to him right now.
[00:50:21] And so there is a silver lining. And I think it's the fact that the American people have had the scales removed from their eyes and they can see that our government, the establishment is not what we voted for. And we're under tyranny.
[00:50:35] And that's what climate change and all this is all about. And Daniel, I appreciate you so much. Thank you. And God bless you for helping us bring America home. Go to bethancsctalkradio.substack.com and enter your email address to subscribe.

[00:52:44] Be sure to let them know Bethann sent you. Do we lack enthusiasm and understanding of the word liberty? Do we weep for liberty which we have lost? Or do we simply not understand the substance and sacrifice for which we were once privileged?
[00:53:00] Webster defines liberty as the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's life, behavior or political views. Today we seem to want restrictions. Government micromanaging our lives? But do we realize the cost? Alexander Hamilton once stated,
[00:53:20] There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty that makes human nature rise above itself in acts of bravery and heroism. As a republic, we the people must guard the liberty of others. We must continue the enthusiasm that will make men free.
