Let's Talk Music, Hunter Got HIGH w/ Baste Records |EP273

Baste Records is a music group focused on providing artistic freedom to musicians, composers, and all creatives. Baste Records, the right-wing counter-culture music company that produced the viral hit "Hunter Got High" by Afroman.

[00:00:00] All men are created equal, but they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights.

[00:00:08] By Liberty and the Big Mig Company.

[00:00:13] If liberty means anything at all, it means right to tell people what they do not want to hear.

[00:00:30] Make America great again.

[00:00:43] Welcome back to the Big Mig Show. I am your host Lance Miliaccio with my co-host at my side,

[00:00:48] George Ballantine. Rise and grind is what we do, snapping necks and cashing checks.

[00:00:54] Tip of the spear, if liberty means anything at all, it means a right to tell people what they

[00:00:57] do not want to hear. You know on this show, you are better to be hurt by the truth than

[00:01:02] comforted with a lie. Our plan is to educate you, bring the receipts, bring the sauce,

[00:01:07] bring the truth, bring the right guess, bring the evidence, educate you and through that

[00:01:12] education our plan is to unify the country. You know that it is a uniparty in D.C. If

[00:01:17] you can't see that by now, you obviously aren't paying attention or you are watching too much

[00:01:20] mainstream media. That's a problem. On this show we consider ourselves the edge of the knife

[00:01:25] and we are going to bring you stuff that you may not be happy about. It may not always put you

[00:01:29] in the best mood but you will know when you walk away that we didn't lie to you like media

[00:01:34] often does. Along the way, you may be attacked as you are disseminating this information but

[00:01:38] it is because you are a threat and we are making you more of a threat by giving you

[00:01:42] the real information. You know I saw a saying that I really liked today and I actually put

[00:01:47] it in here for the notes. The road to tyranny is paved with the people telling you to stop

[00:01:52] questioning everything and that is a fact. You guys have to know by now that that's what they

[00:01:57] do. They don't want you to know the real facts or the evidence and this uniparty in D.C. it

[00:02:02] is not government for the people, by the people. As you know I always like to start

[00:02:06] the show with thanking our sponsors, CofMud.com, Patriotic Apparel, Beard Vet Coffee,

[00:02:12] that's BeardVet.com. Of course you know that they sell coffee, it's easy enough to tell

[00:02:16] that and many other things, BeardVet Energy, BeardVet Tactical and of course Original Glory

[00:02:22] Beer. We appreciate these companies, they are all parallel companies, they are all America

[00:02:26] first companies. We love what they are doing and at the end of the day use the all caps

[00:02:31] The Big Mig promo code and you will get the best price on any of those platforms.

[00:02:35] Our friend General Michael Flynn about halfway through his tour across the country,

[00:02:39] go to FlynnMovie.com forward slash The Big Mig, get over there, look for tickets in advance.

[00:02:44] He is selling out across the country nationwide. George, I see you got on the schedule next

[00:02:49] Thursday, you are going to be going to a Flynn event correct? Well I put it on my calendar,

[00:02:54] I got to call Boone or General and let him know I am coming early and hanging out

[00:02:59] and give me the pass wherever I need, I don't know what I need but. That's it,

[00:03:04] it's called VIP bro, it's called VIP, very important person. No this is beyond VIP bro.

[00:03:09] Are you looking for the VI in the VIP? No this is where you are hanging out during the day,

[00:03:13] I am going to get there early and they are going to go me into helping them set up,

[00:03:18] which I will happily do. Volunteer. Ivan Reiklin is going to be there and he is

[00:03:23] probably going to want to get me back for something I don't know yet.

[00:03:25] Yeah he likes to get even, that's the odd idea behind Ivan Reiklin, that's why I am

[00:03:30] hoping that he becomes part of the accountability division. Hopefully when Trump is back in office

[00:03:35] that's the plan and don't forget you guys head on over, put myself back on camera here,

[00:03:40] head on over to the X community on our The Big Migs show account, join it, that's where you

[00:03:46] can get the early release. You would have known that tonight we had based records on here and

[00:03:51] you might have caught that earlier than the rest of the crowd, that's what we want to do

[00:03:54] is give you guys the inside scoop. You know Lance, we do do things to try to wake them up

[00:03:59] don't we? We do do that. Make them pay attention. Absolutely that's what we do,

[00:04:05] that's part of the plan. You want to set the mood? Do we want to set the mood right now?

[00:04:08] But before we do that don't forget thumbs up, like, comment, share, take our content,

[00:04:12] go all over the place with it. That's what's going to happen to get our voice expanded and

[00:04:16] to get more people waking up across the country. You've got to share the content but

[00:04:22] we do need to set the mood. I tried to find something music this could be a new talent for

[00:04:27] based records. We'll see what he thinks. We'll ask Steve when he comes on what his thoughts

[00:04:31] are. I think this is a unique talent right here. Let's go George.

[00:04:35] I got to fix something here. Hold on two seconds. Two seconds. Technical difficulty

[00:04:39] here in the studio. Are we going to have to fire somebody George? Fire yourself if you want,

[00:04:44] that's all right with me. You ready? Here we go. This is courtesy of Lance DJ rapper Milliacho

[00:04:52] here.

[00:05:22] Lance I have to say my only concern about this right now is if Ratdog is jealous that she wasn't

[00:05:29] on there you know doing her dog thing or she just wants to come and bite you. I don't know.

[00:05:35] At the end of the day she might want to bite me. I'm not sure Steve is excited about

[00:05:38] the talent. I didn't see him smile backstage. He did. He's marked. I seen him. Yeah so

[00:05:44] Steven Lee Rachel is backstage. He's with Based Records. He was born in 1988. He's been

[00:05:49] working in the music business for over a decade. He was integral part of the creation of Based

[00:05:55] Records and he's the right wing counter culture music company. I love the actual way they've

[00:06:01] worded that. They produced the viral hit Hunter Got High by Afro Man. I'm sure you guys have

[00:06:06] seen it. Wildly popular. It's blowing up all across the nation. Got a million downloads

[00:06:12] which I got to give him a round of applause already a million. It's probably exceeded

[00:06:15] that. That was from a couple of days ago. Steve's been involved in different parts of the

[00:06:19] industry throughout the years including music supervision, professional performance, marketing

[00:06:23] and teaching. He's happily married lives in Montreal. I love Montreal actually. I think

[00:06:28] it's a great place. Great nightlife. Anyway you know we're going to talk about lots of

[00:06:33] stuff tonight. I don't want to leave him backstage too much longer. Let's bring him

[00:06:37] in. I want to say something before I bring him in though because please I hear the name

[00:06:41] Based Records. I love the name because you know they're now saying that they're putting names

[00:06:46] like the word based B-A-S-E-D is under like you know national terrorists words we use and all

[00:06:55] that. I can see them putting based on there too because you know they're coming out with

[00:06:59] all the stuff that they don't want to hear that they need to hear. Megaconspiracy,

[00:07:03] Christian Nationalist, you know it just goes on and on. Welcome to the Big Big Show Steve

[00:07:09] Rachel. What's happening bro? Hello, hello thank you for having me Lance and George. Man we're

[00:07:15] super excited to be here. We're going to be doing more music shows. I'm a big music guy. I'm

[00:07:20] actually a hip-hop guy but I'd have to say that I'm probably predominantly old school.

[00:07:25] You know I started out in the early years of when hip-hop started in its roots.

[00:07:29] People like the Sugarhill Gang. I think that was the first set of lyrics I ever learned

[00:07:33] to a hip-hop song. I'm embarrassed to say that I still know those lyrics very well.

[00:07:37] But listen man your music group is really kind of exploding. Hi-Rez the rapper we just had him on

[00:07:43] the show recently. I love what you guys are doing. Of course we've always seen artistic

[00:07:48] freedom in music but I think what's incredible is and I know some people like to call it

[00:07:53] MAGA rap or they put different branches on it. What you guys are doing is really unique

[00:07:59] I think and I really enjoy every time you guys come up with a hit. This last hit,

[00:08:04] I love it obviously. Tell me kind of your history and kind of what got you going down

[00:08:09] that direction because I don't know if you know some of the guys over at Tony Lyons.

[00:08:16] He's kind of a right-wing publisher. He takes the books that nobody else was taking

[00:08:20] and he's done incredibly well. He's built a real big empire in the publishing business

[00:08:27] and it's kind of like what you guys have done. You've taken a roster of people that

[00:08:30] maybe weren't normal in the music industry and you've just blown them up. So go ahead from there.

[00:08:37] Yeah I mean thanks for having me on the show first of all. Thanks to everyone who's

[00:08:42] taken the time to listen or download or buy a Hunter Got High merchandise. How did this come

[00:08:50] about? I would say that there's a lot of people in the music industry who are closet

[00:08:55] right-wing. You know Rick Rubin, you can name many names and they're coming out too. I think

[00:09:03] the amount of people who have endorsed Trump like Sexy Red who's a rapper. So there is

[00:09:11] a real voice for this and it's half the country who feels this way and there's always

[00:09:16] been memes and it's really interesting because there's many different people doing it and there's

[00:09:20] a lot of great talent out there. People that you have to recognize like Bryson Gray if we're

[00:09:27] talking about hip-hop or Tom McDonald as well or Forgeado Blow or these types of guys are

[00:09:35] out there. There's a lot more of them you know. So I was working in music supervision

[00:09:41] and licensing and you know I came across an opportunity with Based Records and we're based

[00:09:49] in Nashville and you know doing music for activist reasons can be done tastefully

[00:09:59] and also music can be done in a way that can change their direction of the country.

[00:10:05] You know whether we know it or not so you know it's been a lot of fun to do the

[00:10:09] AfroMan thing and working with Hi-Rez and other artists. I don't know if that answered

[00:10:14] your question at all. No it does. It's interesting because we've seen this kind

[00:10:19] of a genre change obviously memes have been one of the top communication devices for people

[00:10:25] that have conservative values. I think the right still memes much better than the left but

[00:10:32] the left cannot meme Lance. Yeah they're still struggling with it. To meme you have to have

[00:10:37] a sense of humor first of all so just so we know. They don't have a sense of humor.

[00:10:41] Yeah they do have pink and blue hair a lot of times though but here's the deal you know you

[00:10:45] guys are doing it with music and to me this is kind of new although politics in music isn't

[00:10:50] new there's a long history of it and we'll discuss that a little later in the show

[00:10:53] but you've got a really interesting roster. I don't know if I missed anybody you got

[00:10:56] Chad Prather, Rachel Holt, Five Times August and Hi-Rez. I don't know that AfroMan is on

[00:11:02] your roster I think you guys just did production with him. I don't know if that's a roster

[00:11:06] inclusion. Are there other talent that we've missed on that roster? That would be the full

[00:11:10] scope of the roster. There's other people we have a lot of exciting things to come out.

[00:11:17] Our first song. Don't be stingy man don't be stingy the big mig mafia wants to hear

[00:11:22] don't be too stingy on the show Steve. Yeah I mean you got to you know there's certain

[00:11:27] things that will come out when they come out and you know going back to last year in October

[00:11:33] you know we released Ain't No Rock and Roll with Five Times August and I think he's really

[00:11:38] been kind of the protest hero of the freedom movement of medical freedom so doing that song

[00:11:43] with him was really a great way to start us off you know and then immediately we did

[00:11:48] Triggered with Hi-Rez which is a Second Amendment song. So right away we're going

[00:11:52] into things and AfroMan 100 Got High is another example of that. We came up with

[00:11:59] that idea Chris Wallen came up with that idea wrote that song. I've got the clip when you're

[00:12:04] talking to AfroMan we'll let the audience and then you can tell us where this was at or maybe

[00:12:08] when you made the first intro you actually posted this I think earlier today or yesterday.

[00:12:13] Media too George let's throw that up and then I'm going to let you comment it on here.

[00:12:16] You know we never did this introductory media to let everybody know about them do you want

[00:12:20] to put that first or? Yeah go ahead why not why don't we put up the intro for

[00:12:24] Based Records first. I kind of like the whole message in the intro really great.

[00:12:28] All right here we go hold on to your seats make some noise come on.

[00:12:31] Here goes nothing.

[00:12:37] I truly believe music can change the world.

[00:12:42] Honest music is the only kind of music worth listening to.

[00:12:46] That's not even in the song that's free you get that free.

[00:12:48] The music industry is incredibly woke and everybody is an activist but there's still

[00:12:52] a large percentage of conservatives in the industry they're just kind of hiding.

[00:12:56] There's more of us out there than the other side thanks.

[00:13:00] And they're afraid to speak out because they don't want to be canceled they don't

[00:13:02] want to be uninvited to the Grammys they don't want to get on a blacklist.

[00:13:06] I listen to a lot of music I don't agree with but it never makes me furious.

[00:13:10] These days it's not that way anymore there's no middle ground.

[00:13:14] Social contagions and anger are omnipresent it's like a storm.

[00:13:18] Isn't isn't music kind of like the last bastion of free speech like we should be

[00:13:21] able to say whatever we want to say isn't that what the counterculture was in the 60s?

[00:13:25] We felt like there was a lack of artists who speak to traditional values.

[00:13:36] That's what based records is all about.

[00:13:39] Hard-working, family-oriented, loving people have been pushed out of the industry for

[00:13:44] political considerations, cultural considerations and what we want to do with base records

[00:13:49] is change that.

[00:13:51] Music should have been about free speech.

[00:13:56] It's a sort of bravery to be able to stand in front of people that may disagree with

[00:14:01] you and say what you think.

[00:14:02] If you don't say what I say you're an enemy you know you're on the other side and

[00:14:07] I won't participate in that agenda.

[00:14:10] Definition of a rock star is standing up for independence, freedom, freedom of thought,

[00:14:16] freedom of speech.

[00:14:17] If we get to a point where we can't say what we want to say anymore

[00:14:21] what are we going to sing about?

[00:14:32] Based records bringing in some amazing talent.

[00:14:36] Artists that might have been canceled for standing by their principles.

[00:14:40] We want artists, creators and the people who make music possible to thrive, survive

[00:14:46] and ultimately participate in the music economy.

[00:14:49] We want to build an infrastructure, like-minded people who are freedom-minded.

[00:14:54] Artists who share our values, build a culture around that and we wanted to bring music to

[00:14:58] people that want that.

[00:15:00] And they don't want the other thing, they want the good medicine.

[00:15:03] I like seeing things like Based, it gives me hope.

[00:15:05] It's nice to know there's more people showing support for people like me.

[00:15:12] I'm just seeing a nation being divided and I'm sick of it.

[00:15:15] Yeah, we're waking people up.

[00:15:16] You remember when we used to all hang out?

[00:15:18] Those days got to come back.

[00:15:20] I think with Based Records the bottom line is to put something out there, I think that

[00:15:25] three quarters of the population wants and can't have right now.

[00:15:28] The country is starving for music that people can relate to.

[00:15:31] Yeah, I think they're going to sell some records.

[00:15:33] The opportunity that Based Records has is to find real artists with a real message

[00:15:37] of substance.

[00:15:38] Once there's a pivotal change in the culture war, they're going to be at the

[00:15:41] forefront of it.

[00:15:42] Giving people the option to see other things and not just one thing out there.

[00:15:46] It's going to be great.

[00:15:55] So we're just going to do what we're doing, building it, finding allies, making

[00:16:00] great music.

[00:16:01] That's the dream.

[00:16:02] It can happen with just one right song at the one right time and the one

[00:16:06] right voice that's willing to put it out there.

[00:16:09] It can change a culture but somebody's got to step up and do it.

[00:16:12] Music exists to tell a story and we have to decide what that story is.

[00:16:17] Based Records is the new rebellion and we're going to lead the way.

[00:16:22] Everybody's welcome.

[00:16:23] Just make your work and put it out there and have fun because it's awesome.

[00:16:37] You know, I can see it now guys.

[00:16:40] Inauguration 2025 Trump, Based Records, Afro Man, Hunter Got High singing it,

[00:16:48] right?

[00:16:48] What about Chad Pather there?

[00:16:50] We got artists.

[00:16:51] We got artists all day to go to his inauguration and sing.

[00:16:53] Can you imagine featuring Hunter Got High?

[00:16:59] I mean, that's the ultimate what?

[00:17:01] What do we call it?

[00:17:02] Troll?

[00:17:05] Troll and message.

[00:17:06] I mean, at the end of the day, it's truth.

[00:17:08] It's troll with the truth and I love what you guys stand for.

[00:17:12] It's not easy.

[00:17:14] And I have to ask you this after looking at your intro and then we'll do the

[00:17:18] place where Afro Man is talking about how you guys came up with the Hunter Got High,

[00:17:23] you know, modification of his original.

[00:17:27] Here's my question, man.

[00:17:28] How much have you guys been attacked already?

[00:17:30] I mean, how frequent is it that people don't want to distribute the music or they

[00:17:34] don't want you on Amazon or Spotify or you name it, whatever it is.

[00:17:38] Tell me about the dark side of what's happened to you because you guys are taking a stand.

[00:17:44] Oh yeah, I mean, everyone goes through this.

[00:17:48] And we've had canceled business partners, distributors, business managers.

[00:18:02] Relationships I've built over the years in the music industry have definitely been

[00:18:05] blacklisted for sure when people see that I'm doing this.

[00:18:09] I at the end of the day don't care and I think also Bass Records,

[00:18:14] has a, you know, we're kind of about the but yeah, it's been pretty,

[00:18:18] you know, it's been pretty bad.

[00:18:19] I mean, all things considering, you know, we're able to, you know,

[00:18:22] put music out and sell it, you know, so, you know, thank God for that.

[00:18:27] But we've had, yeah, it's and, you know, finding people to work with too.

[00:18:31] And so, yeah, we've had we were canceled.

[00:18:33] We had a whole thing with the distributor that canceled us.

[00:18:36] I'm not going to say who it was.

[00:18:38] And that was really like, you know, just like, oh, here it is perfect.

[00:18:41] And then, oh, wait, no, now we got to go find another one.

[00:18:43] And you know, it's just another thing to do, right?

[00:18:45] It's disappointing and that's what they want to do, right?

[00:18:48] They want to attack you so that you'll give up.

[00:18:51] The great part is that music has changed so much.

[00:18:53] I came from the era where they were selling mix tapes out of the trunks of cars.

[00:18:57] I still got my.

[00:18:58] Walked. Yeah, you'd walk down the street.

[00:19:00] I think I still have them out in the garage.

[00:19:02] You'd walk down the street in New York and you know,

[00:19:05] you could buy any sort of a mix tape back then.

[00:19:07] I think the big station in New York back then was Kiss 95, I think.

[00:19:11] Ninety eight point seven kiss FM.

[00:19:15] And what about WKT I Love You with Paco Disco 92?

[00:19:19] That was a big one back then was playing a lot of stuff.

[00:19:21] I'm going way back.

[00:19:22] I know I'm way past the date on you guys.

[00:19:26] But it's interesting.

[00:19:27] It has changed.

[00:19:28] At least you can get downloads now and you can monetize without having to have

[00:19:31] tremendous distribution.

[00:19:32] It used to be the record stores and the radio stations controlled that.

[00:19:36] Social media has changed that a lot.

[00:19:38] I mean, the minute you guys put this out, it exploded.

[00:19:42] Let's play media to George and then let's talk about the brain power

[00:19:45] that went in behind this because at the end of day,

[00:19:47] the creative energy that thought of this idea was pretty.

[00:19:51] It was really outstanding.

[00:19:52] Here we go.

[00:19:54] What what made you make this song?

[00:19:57] What gave you the idea?

[00:20:00] It was it was funny.

[00:20:03] It was for I love funny.

[00:20:04] You know what I'm saying?

[00:20:06] Oh, base records approached me with the idea.

[00:20:12] I started playing around with some lines and it was really funny.

[00:20:16] It was really funny.

[00:20:17] And I thought it would make people laugh.

[00:20:20] So we went for it.

[00:20:21] Hey, you guys.

[00:20:23] I just want to clarify something when they said player playing around

[00:20:26] with lines is not talking about Hunter Biden's lines that he does.

[00:20:29] He's talking about local lines.

[00:20:30] I want to make that clear to everybody.

[00:20:32] So, Stephen, you guys, where was the epiphany moment where you decided,

[00:20:37] man, we're going to throw down on this?

[00:20:38] This is a great idea.

[00:20:39] We got to drop this.

[00:20:42] It was a process, you know, I think it basically started as a joke

[00:20:48] in a meeting, I think.

[00:20:50] I think Chris, yeah, Chris did make the joke.

[00:20:53] And then, you know, it was like, you know, to go from there to releasing it.

[00:20:59] And then obviously, you know, yeah, because we had already met with

[00:21:04] that for a man and we were thinking what can we do?

[00:21:06] You know, that's and but that joke.

[00:21:09] Yeah, and we just went with it.

[00:21:10] There was a process internally.

[00:21:11] There's a creative process, you know, so there's back and forth.

[00:21:13] There's people, you know, Chris is such a maestro and he has

[00:21:16] such a tremendous resume and Matt as well.

[00:21:21] And everyone working on it.

[00:21:22] There's a lot of people there.

[00:21:23] Jamie Calhoun on the music admin side for clearances and working

[00:21:29] with Universal and all this stuff.

[00:21:31] I mean, you'd be shocked how much money artists are leaving on the table.

[00:21:35] Like Afro man hadn't like I didn't had signed a thing and he could

[00:21:40] have been getting paid that Universal's been getting paid.

[00:21:42] And it was this whole thing.

[00:21:43] So it took it took it was a long creative process.

[00:21:47] There was back and forth.

[00:21:48] It was also, you know, a bit of a thing too, where it was like,

[00:21:51] listen, you know, we are right-wing counterculture, you know,

[00:21:55] but also is this too far?

[00:21:56] Is this a bad taste?

[00:21:57] You know, discussions like that.

[00:21:59] And at the end of the day, we obviously made the decision we did.

[00:22:03] And I think that there's so many memes and so many parodies out there.

[00:22:07] It's cool to see the artists themselves do it, you know?

[00:22:11] And, you know, I don't want to speak for them, but Afro man has a

[00:22:14] tremendous story.

[00:22:15] And, you know, to go back just by the way on the distributor story,

[00:22:19] what was crazy about it is we told them we're right-wing.

[00:22:22] We're right-wing and they're like, yeah, it's fine.

[00:22:23] Don't worry.

[00:22:24] It's okay.

[00:22:24] As long as you're not like, you know, XYZ, like totally off the deep end,

[00:22:29] you know?

[00:22:29] Extremist terrorist?

[00:22:31] They saw five times August, ain't no rock and roll.

[00:22:34] And they were like, no, we're dropping you.

[00:22:36] And I was like, really?

[00:22:37] It's like there's no spurious nudity.

[00:22:40] There's no themes of violence or drugs or lewd behavior.

[00:22:44] Like you're putting out a lot of negative music that's affecting

[00:22:47] people negatively.

[00:22:48] And the song about medical freedom.

[00:22:51] Well, I think you made a mistake when you didn't put a bunch of naked

[00:22:54] butts, booty shaking.

[00:22:55] They probably would have jumped right on board.

[00:22:58] Or worshiping the devil too.

[00:23:00] You know how they all work to have the devil stuff on it?

[00:23:03] Maybe some girls dressed up as devils, booty shaking.

[00:23:06] That probably would have made you get rid of it.

[00:23:07] They would have said, oh, this is perfect.

[00:23:09] It's exactly the genre we're looking for at the end of the day.

[00:23:11] Let's face it.

[00:23:12] We see it.

[00:23:13] We know what it is.

[00:23:14] It's obvious that it's intentional.

[00:23:17] It doesn't surprise me.

[00:23:18] But I'm happy you guys have had your having wins.

[00:23:22] And I hope those wins give you the financial resources to just

[00:23:26] crush all these people at the end of the day.

[00:23:29] They always say that getting the best way to get even is with success.

[00:23:34] So we hope that you guys have continued success with what you're doing.

[00:23:36] I appreciate it.

[00:23:38] I know the second I saw it, it made me laugh.

[00:23:40] I saw you guys were talking about releasing it and all.

[00:23:42] George, let's play the first clip of it.

[00:23:43] We got 32 seconds of the Hunter got high Afro man video.

[00:23:48] We broke it up into 30 second clips.

[00:23:49] I don't know if that's going to get us in trouble or not,

[00:23:51] but we'll see what happens.

[00:23:52] We'll take our chances.

[00:23:53] I actually wanted to let everybody know why we're doing this.

[00:23:56] So Steve, you can explain to our listeners

[00:23:59] the reason we have to break it up in clips.

[00:24:01] Do they understand?

[00:24:01] Oh, it's just that we own the master and we did the clearance,

[00:24:05] but there's bots online that crawl to get copy strikes.

[00:24:09] And it falsely identifies it as because I got high

[00:24:12] because it's obviously like the same instrumental.

[00:24:14] And, you know, so even when we allow this people,

[00:24:19] you can get dinged.

[00:24:19] So but people have been fine with it under fair use.

[00:24:22] This is technically fair use because we're criticizing it.

[00:24:24] Right?

[00:24:24] So most of the places that we're actually we're actually streaming

[00:24:27] right now to 11 different platforms or thousands of people

[00:24:30] watching on all the different platforms are on.

[00:24:32] YouTube's already thrown us off.

[00:24:34] They already hate George and I.

[00:24:35] So that's not anything to worry about.

[00:24:38] Anytime you mentioned election integrity or vaccines,

[00:24:41] YouTube goes into overdrive still.

[00:24:43] They don't want to admit that the vaccines was a plandemic.

[00:24:47] Let's go ahead and play this clip.

[00:24:47] I just declare, I think YouTube hates you.

[00:24:49] They don't hate me.

[00:24:50] Just so you know.

[00:24:51] All right.

[00:24:51] Okay.

[00:24:51] All right.

[00:24:52] It's okay.

[00:24:53] Okay.

[00:24:53] Shout out to Bass Records.

[00:25:08] Hey, yo, Hunter.

[00:25:11] Roll up another one of them congressional ones, brother.

[00:25:19] He was gonna get his laptop fixed, but Hunter got high.

[00:25:27] Yeah.

[00:25:28] At the end of the day, he did.

[00:25:30] He left those laptops behind.

[00:25:31] Don't hate the players.

[00:25:32] Hate the game, George.

[00:25:33] That's all I have to say to YouTube.

[00:25:35] Hating me a million downloads.

[00:25:37] What's the number now, Steve?

[00:25:38] This was a couple of days ago.

[00:25:39] So is it up from there?

[00:25:42] Actually, just to correct, it's not downloads.

[00:25:43] We're not at a million downloads.

[00:25:44] Views, a million views.

[00:25:45] Yeah.

[00:25:45] I apologize.

[00:25:46] Views on YouTube.

[00:25:46] On YouTube.

[00:25:47] But across platform, there's millions of views.

[00:25:49] We're in thousands of downloads.

[00:25:52] It's doing well.

[00:25:53] We're charting.

[00:25:54] We were at number one on the iTunes video.

[00:25:58] Wow.

[00:25:58] So we're just continuing the push.

[00:26:00] I haven't actually seen the most recent numbers, but yeah,

[00:26:04] we've had some number ones and some number ones on the iTunes

[00:26:08] rap. Yeah, and stuff like that.

[00:26:10] Where's the best place to get it?

[00:26:12] Do you want them to do it on iTunes or where do you want them to grab the music?

[00:26:14] To have it count to billboard, iTunes is the best.

[00:26:18] Amazon also is good.

[00:26:22] Obviously, that's just the system in place, right?

[00:26:25] But we feel like it's important to put those numbers out so more people

[00:26:29] are drawn to it.

[00:26:31] There's more press on it.

[00:26:33] But that's the way.

[00:26:35] If you look at somebody like Tom McDonald, or people like that,

[00:26:40] independent artists who drive downloads to beat out streaming numbers.

[00:26:43] Because a lot of these streams are fake bots.

[00:26:45] It's all owned by conglomerates and a money wheel where the record labels

[00:26:49] have deals with Spotify and just use fake bots.

[00:26:53] And they commit to streaming fraud.

[00:26:55] And so the best way to support independent artists when they're charting like this,

[00:27:00] like AfroMan, people at Bass Records, it is to do these downloads on iTunes and Amazon.

[00:27:05] And Bass, I think, you know, that's what I can say for that anyways when it comes to it.

[00:27:10] And I want to talk about that bots.

[00:27:12] It sounds like that's the new Paola.

[00:27:14] That music means we're going to take a short break.

[00:27:17] Steve Rachel will still be with us.

[00:27:19] Bass Records will be playing some more clips from Hunter Gott.

[00:27:22] Hi, Big McMafia, Big McSubscribers and listeners.

[00:27:25] Don't you guys go anywhere?

[00:31:05] Coming back, Cora.

[00:31:32] Then another big shout out, Sea of Mud Patriotic Apparel.

[00:31:37] Let me move the mic so you guys get a good view.

[00:31:39] Can't beat that.

[00:31:40] The Republican MAGA?

[00:31:42] No, it's no Republican anymore.

[00:31:44] It's MAGA party now.

[00:31:45] So Sea of Mud Patriotic Apparel.

[00:31:48] They do it their own way, your own way.

[00:31:51] You go to beardvet.com, seaofmud.com, you both use a coupon code, the big mig in all caps,

[00:32:03] help promote them.

[00:32:05] So help American owned companies guys, support our sponsors, support us.

[00:32:09] We appreciate it.

[00:32:10] None other than we have Original Glory Beer.

[00:32:14] The brew them, bodies America.

[00:32:16] They are truly now OG.

[00:32:19] They are the core American values, bringing back what American beer was built on in this

[00:32:24] country.

[00:32:24] Not them woke companies.

[00:32:26] We don't deal with them no more, right?

[00:32:28] So they're doing a crowdfunding.

[00:32:31] You can be part of their business, another American owned business.

[00:32:33] You could be part owner and build this up to American lifestyle.

[00:32:38] That's about our country.

[00:32:40] So go there.

[00:32:41] Links are in the chats for everybody.

[00:32:43] Support us, support them, and let's make this country great again.

[00:32:49] Right, Lance?

[00:32:49] What do you think?

[00:32:50] Absolutely.

[00:32:51] I'm excited to see the next clip you've got here, George, Hunter got high.

[00:32:56] You want to play it?

[00:32:57] All right, let's play it.

[00:33:17] Bleach his hard drive.

[00:33:18] You should have, right?

[00:33:19] Should let Hillary Clinton handle that part.

[00:33:21] She could have used bleach, bitten a hammer.

[00:33:23] That seems to work when you want to hide the evidence.

[00:33:25] She's extremely good at it.

[00:33:27] The problem is now that she's in that video, Steve, Rachel, have you seen Hillary Clinton

[00:33:31] around you recently?

[00:33:31] If you have run at the end of day.

[00:33:34] She's got 57 suicides under her belt.

[00:33:38] You and Afro man could be in danger now that you've mentioned her in the video.

[00:33:42] Lance, just remind me.

[00:33:43] Let me get ahead of the game.

[00:33:44] Let me get ahead.

[00:33:45] Afro man and Steve, Rachel did not kill themselves.

[00:33:49] Exactly.

[00:33:50] We laughed.

[00:33:52] She's as sinister as they come.

[00:33:54] But you know, it's funny.

[00:33:55] It looks like you have a new fan.

[00:33:57] I'm actually shocked.

[00:33:58] George, we've got a clip.

[00:34:00] New fan.

[00:34:01] Surprising.

[00:34:02] I would have thought he would have gone the other direction.

[00:34:04] George.

[00:34:04] Which clip are you talking about?

[00:34:05] Lance?

[00:34:06] By they.

[00:34:06] Do you have that loaded yet?

[00:34:08] That's the curve ball.

[00:34:09] I threw you, but we can wait while you're loading that.

[00:34:12] I want to talk about the other talent.

[00:34:14] You've got Afro man, obviously, right?

[00:34:17] There's a lot of people that have blown up recently

[00:34:20] and it's no surprise.

[00:34:21] We've seen them at Mar-a-Lago.

[00:34:23] I'm hoping that you and Afro man are going to get invited

[00:34:26] to Mar-a-Lago.

[00:34:27] I'm going to mention it to my friend Roger Stone

[00:34:30] and mention that that would be a great idea.

[00:34:32] You might have to tone down Afro man's party ways

[00:34:34] at least for a couple of hours there at Mar-a-Lago.

[00:34:37] I'm not sure.

[00:34:38] I'm not sure what the Secret Service would do

[00:34:40] if he fired up.

[00:34:40] I'm not sure how it would go.

[00:34:43] But Trump Latinos, they're kind of new and hot.

[00:34:46] They've kind of jumped out of...

[00:34:48] Not that they haven't been doing music for a long time.

[00:34:51] Obviously, they create music and send it around conservative

[00:34:54] and people like to call it far, right?

[00:34:56] I call it the right politics.

[00:34:59] I guess they're kind of a sub-genre

[00:35:01] and I don't know how familiar you are with the sub-genre

[00:35:03] that everybody seems to be calling MAGA rap.

[00:35:05] What are your thoughts on that?

[00:35:07] Does it have legs?

[00:35:08] I mean, yeah, as long as MAGA has legs,

[00:35:11] its movement will have legs.

[00:35:13] Outside of the MAGA rap people too,

[00:35:15] there's also MAGA country singers kind of

[00:35:18] Natasha Owens kind of does some Trump stuff,

[00:35:20] Hadassah Levy.

[00:35:21] Chad Pryor.

[00:35:22] Yeah, but yeah, as long as that movement's alive,

[00:35:25] there's going to be music for it

[00:35:27] and somebody like Ford Giado or whatever,

[00:35:31] I'm pretty sure he just takes his truck

[00:35:34] and it's all pimped out.

[00:35:35] He goes everywhere.

[00:35:36] He drives across the country, takes hands,

[00:35:38] he goes with the rallies,

[00:35:39] he does the legwork to really connect with the people.

[00:35:43] So as long as there's a movement,

[00:35:44] there'll be music.

[00:35:45] There's always going to be music around politicians

[00:35:48] and political movements.

[00:35:49] We have a national anthem.

[00:35:51] It's a spiritual language

[00:35:52] and it actually amplifies what people are trying to say

[00:35:55] with words in more subtle ways.

[00:35:57] So it's important that I don't think it's going away.

[00:36:02] Even if MAGA dies,

[00:36:03] I'm going to say Trump dies tomorrow,

[00:36:04] I think the movement will still go on in some way.

[00:36:08] Yeah.

[00:36:08] In what form, but yeah.

[00:36:09] Yeah, I believe that's the struggle in their own heads

[00:36:12] thinking of the VP choice.

[00:36:14] It's pretty difficult.

[00:36:15] We know a lot of people that are in a circle

[00:36:17] because they want somebody that can continue

[00:36:20] to put America first and keep that momentum.

[00:36:22] We do have.

[00:36:22] So don't forget, we have Trump's children

[00:36:26] and coming along,

[00:36:27] Barron Trump is coming along.

[00:36:29] He's a smart young man.

[00:36:33] Smart, yeah.

[00:36:34] And he's, I mean, people don't believe he's...

[00:36:36] I just want to say that Barron Trump is a giant.

[00:36:37] He's got a great sense of humor.

[00:36:39] He's smart.

[00:36:41] He's a president in the building right now.

[00:36:42] But you got his, you know, even him...

[00:36:46] Which one's son is it?

[00:36:47] It's you got Eric.

[00:36:48] You got both of them actually.

[00:36:49] Put them both president, vice president.

[00:36:51] Donald Trump Jr. is obviously out there all the time.

[00:36:53] Eric's a little more than Donald Trump.

[00:36:56] Could you imagine if he picks his son right now

[00:36:58] to go as VP, Trump and Trump?

[00:37:00] Yeah.

[00:37:00] Would that drive the people crazy?

[00:37:02] You know, I was hoping he was going to go with Tucker

[00:37:04] and I thought he could have called the ticket TNT.

[00:37:07] That's what I thought.

[00:37:08] Explosive.

[00:37:09] You know, I like Tucker at the end of the day.

[00:37:11] I think he's obviously at the forefront

[00:37:13] of putting out real information.

[00:37:15] I trust his message.

[00:37:17] But listen, Tom McDonald.

[00:37:18] What are you ready for this video?

[00:37:19] He's right up in your neck of the woods.

[00:37:20] Canadian rapper, right?

[00:37:21] Controversial, politically charged.

[00:37:23] What are your thoughts on him?

[00:37:25] I like Tom.

[00:37:25] I like what he does and I love

[00:37:27] his social media promotion that he does.

[00:37:29] Yeah, yeah.

[00:37:30] I mean, listen, you know, there's always going to be

[00:37:34] people saying many different things about any artist,

[00:37:36] no matter...

[00:37:37] Especially when you get, you know,

[00:37:38] to a certain level of fame.

[00:37:39] There's always going to be haters or whatever.

[00:37:41] Obviously, I've been following Tom for a while.

[00:37:43] It was hilarious seeing him drop with Ben Shapiro

[00:37:46] who said rap isn't music.

[00:37:48] Wow.

[00:37:48] And his last song actually, God Mode,

[00:37:51] which is eight minutes long.

[00:37:53] I was thoroughly impressed with that on a production level,

[00:37:57] form of level, like the video, like, you know,

[00:38:00] just as a...

[00:38:02] Yeah, so I mean, you know, more power to him

[00:38:04] and just keep doing it and keep making music

[00:38:08] that connects with people that is, you know, true to yourself.

[00:38:11] You know, although, you know, some people...

[00:38:14] People always say, are you fake?

[00:38:15] Are you fake or not?

[00:38:16] You know, I haven't really met the guy.

[00:38:18] So if I met the guy,

[00:38:19] I would tell you more if he's fake or not, you know?

[00:38:21] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:38:22] Well, nine minutes, he took a book out of the Queen playbook.

[00:38:25] That's an extremely long track.

[00:38:27] That's like a track plus two bonus tracks.

[00:38:30] At the end of the day, not normal,

[00:38:31] but I agree with you, it's great song.

[00:38:33] Forge You Out of Blow.

[00:38:34] I liked what he did with Magedonia.

[00:38:36] I thought that was a great his album.

[00:38:37] I know he's had high success, it's obvious.

[00:38:40] And this sub-genre, you know,

[00:38:41] that they're calling Mag a rap, you know?

[00:38:43] And the support of Donald Trump,

[00:38:45] obviously there's a criticism of left-leaning politics.

[00:38:48] And to me, it's more so than left-leaning politics.

[00:38:50] It's the uniparty politics that really,

[00:38:53] in my opinion, that's being attacked

[00:38:54] because I don't think we have any support

[00:38:55] on either side of the aisle.

[00:38:57] I think there's a handful of people

[00:38:58] that can be trusted in Washington DC.

[00:39:01] And I mean that, a handful of people.

[00:39:02] It's not very many.

[00:39:03] But, you know, political music,

[00:39:05] there's always been a history, right?

[00:39:06] It's been used as a tool, political expression, activism.

[00:39:10] It's been going on for a really long time.

[00:39:12] I wanna talk about a little bit of the history

[00:39:14] like we were talking backstage a minute ago.

[00:39:16] But George, let's play the next part

[00:39:17] of Hunter Got High for everybody.

[00:39:18] Well, I had that video you wanted.

[00:39:21] Oh, well let's do the video first

[00:39:22] because we've got a big fan of Afro Man.

[00:39:25] Brand new to the music scene.

[00:39:26] He's listening to Afro Man on his phone.

[00:39:28] All right, here we go.

[00:39:36] Hunter Got High, Hunter Got High, Hunter Got High.

[00:39:44] Surprising Joe Biden seems to be a fan.

[00:39:47] Steve, you dug that up.

[00:39:48] I don't know if that was leaked

[00:39:49] by the Secret Service or not.

[00:39:51] That meme, but you are a meme guy.

[00:39:54] So at the end of the day,

[00:39:55] I'm sure you appreciate that.

[00:39:57] We were talking backstage,

[00:39:58] you know, the history of politics in music.

[00:40:01] A lot of people don't know

[00:40:02] the Giuseppe Verdi's opera Nabucco,

[00:40:06] which was 1844.

[00:40:07] So that goes way back.

[00:40:09] The opera's chorus was a Hebrew slaves

[00:40:12] and that was interpreted as a call

[00:40:13] for Italy to overthrow

[00:40:15] Austrian and French dominance.

[00:40:17] Obviously, that was a big deal back then.

[00:40:18] We know that the Austrians,

[00:40:20] the French, the English

[00:40:21] and the Italians were always fighting

[00:40:23] for global dominance.

[00:40:25] Then you get into the 60s and 70s,

[00:40:27] the Vietnam War and civil rights,

[00:40:28] another big movement in music,

[00:40:31] protest songs, Bob Dylan, lots of others.

[00:40:34] Then we go to 79, The Clash.

[00:40:36] I don't know if you were a fan of The Clash.

[00:40:38] London Calling was a big one.

[00:40:40] I loved them.

[00:40:42] The 80s, when that music took off in New York

[00:40:45] and you had a lot of the Mud Club

[00:40:47] and the Ritz and a lot of the old genre clubs,

[00:40:49] these guys were all over the place.

[00:40:51] So Guns of Brixton, Spanish Bombs.

[00:40:54] I don't know how familiar we are

[00:40:55] with all those, Steve.

[00:40:57] Yeah.

[00:40:57] And then obviously got-

[00:40:58] Combat Rock,

[00:41:00] they're really great power trios

[00:41:02] and London Calling,

[00:41:03] you know, the bass line is just the hook.

[00:41:05] Da da da da.

[00:41:07] Yeah.

[00:41:08] That's cool.

[00:41:08] Great stuff, obviously.

[00:41:10] 80s rolled around, punk rock.

[00:41:11] I was not a big punk rock fan,

[00:41:13] but of course the Dead Kennedys

[00:41:14] really set the tone with the Sex Pistols.

[00:41:17] Then you got 89 when the Berlin Wall fell.

[00:41:19] Lots of music looking for freedom.

[00:41:22] Big moment.

[00:41:23] George, what do you got?

[00:41:23] I skipped over when rap started, bro.

[00:41:27] No, but you know,

[00:41:28] I'm actually doing rap in a separate section here.

[00:41:30] This is kind of a non-rap section

[00:41:32] because it's interesting.

[00:41:33] This is stuff like Rage Against the Machine.

[00:41:36] You know, then you've got the rise of Maga Rap

[00:41:38] in the 20s, Forge Out of Blow.

[00:41:40] And then you got Afro Man.

[00:41:41] To me, that's the next level of genre.

[00:41:44] He's taken, you know, Balenciaga,

[00:41:47] that shot that they took on Balenciaga,

[00:41:49] I think that was interesting,

[00:41:50] but I really feel like

[00:41:51] this one's a real shot across the bow.

[00:41:54] To me, this is where it really kind of starts to jump.

[00:41:58] And I don't know how you feel about that.

[00:41:59] Do you feel like that was the message

[00:42:00] you guys wanted to put out there?

[00:42:02] Did you feel like you wanted to make a change, Steve?

[00:42:04] Is that what the intent was

[00:42:05] or was it just to have fun music?

[00:42:08] Well, you always have to have fun, you know,

[00:42:10] because that's what you need to do in order,

[00:42:13] you know, you whistle while you work.

[00:42:16] Right. And Afro Man is a cultural icon.

[00:42:19] You know, a lot of people who smoke marijuana

[00:42:22] love the song Because I Got High.

[00:42:25] Cops love it because it's like a deterrent

[00:42:28] because it's like if you get high,

[00:42:29] you're not going to do anything.

[00:42:30] And then other people just like it

[00:42:32] because it's a catchy earworm.

[00:42:33] It's like a pop hook.

[00:42:34] It just gets stuck in your head.

[00:42:37] So yes, like this is a moment, you know?

[00:42:41] And like you were saying before,

[00:42:42] or is Trump going to pull up with Afro Man?

[00:42:46] You know, I mean, for me it's the big thing, you know?

[00:42:48] Like, you know, I'm going to put a bug in Roger Stone's here.

[00:42:53] I'd love to see you guys at Mar-a-Lago.

[00:42:55] I mean, that's because again,

[00:42:56] Trump Latinos have been there.

[00:42:57] Forgeado Blow has been there.

[00:42:58] You know, Forgeado Blow did a track

[00:43:00] for the Mike Flynn movie, the documentary.

[00:43:04] And that's a whole different potential avenue for you guys

[00:43:07] because you've got lots of great documentarians right now.

[00:43:10] You've got Dinesh D'Souza,

[00:43:11] you've got other people

[00:43:13] that are working in different genres

[00:43:15] and they're all looking for tracks.

[00:43:17] And some of those, you know,

[00:43:18] obviously like 2000 Mules and other documentarians

[00:43:22] really have blown up.

[00:43:23] They've gone huge.

[00:43:24] Some of the biggest political documentaries

[00:43:26] have just happened.

[00:43:28] Flynn's the number one download in the country

[00:43:30] for that specific genre.

[00:43:31] He's selling DVDs.

[00:43:33] He's selling out every place he visits.

[00:43:35] Three, 400, 500 people showing up.

[00:43:38] A lot of people didn't expect that.

[00:43:39] Mike's a friend of George and I's, General Flynn.

[00:43:41] We really like him.

[00:43:43] So it's interesting.

[00:43:44] You know, it's a whole other avenue for you guys

[00:43:45] to get in there with some of these people

[00:43:47] that are filmmakers and actually get access

[00:43:50] to even a bigger section of the market.

[00:43:52] It was interesting that Forgeado Blow,

[00:43:54] that General Mike Flynn,

[00:43:56] you wouldn't think that he would have picked him

[00:43:57] for a track in his new movie,

[00:43:58] but yet there it is.

[00:44:00] He did.

[00:44:00] And that really goes to show the crossover.

[00:44:02] You've got a very conservative guy,

[00:44:04] General Flynn, three PhDs.

[00:44:07] Probably a better man than I could ever hope to be.

[00:44:10] He's an incredible human being.

[00:44:11] A lot of people don't know that about him,

[00:44:13] but we know that, George and I.

[00:44:15] But it's really interesting.

[00:44:16] George, you jump in here.

[00:44:18] I'd like to hear what you have to say about it.

[00:44:20] Listen, Flynn's a phenomenal guy.

[00:44:22] It's all about his Christian beliefs.

[00:44:27] He actually does not have an ego.

[00:44:29] You meet him.

[00:44:30] He's as genuine as they can be, very humble person.

[00:44:35] It's our media that makes him out to be a bad guy,

[00:44:38] makes all these other people

[00:44:40] that don't go with their agenda bad,

[00:44:43] whether it's a rapper or politician or anybody.

[00:44:46] These guys, I commend people,

[00:44:49] the rappers at Bass Records,

[00:44:51] they're doing their thing.

[00:44:52] They ain't bowing to the status quo.

[00:44:56] And that's mad respect because even though

[00:44:59] they're going to get shit at them, who cares?

[00:45:01] Do you?

[00:45:02] And that's the way everybody has a role in this country right now

[00:45:05] because if you worry about what everybody says,

[00:45:09] you're walking around in eggshells and you can't live like that.

[00:45:11] Yeah.

[00:45:11] We don't care.

[00:45:12] We get critiqued after every show.

[00:45:14] I can't imagine what the impact would be if we listened to any of it.

[00:45:17] Let's play the next part of Hunter Got High for everybody, George.

[00:45:20] Let's do it.

[00:45:30] Take them all out on the boat.

[00:45:32] But Hunter got high.

[00:45:35] He's the smartest man Joe ever knew in his life.

[00:45:39] He ain't had till Hunter got high.

[00:45:42] Hunter got high.

[00:45:44] Hunter got high.

[00:45:47] You know, Lance, I was thinking, Steve,

[00:45:50] maybe we can get one of these artists to do a big mink song or something for us.

[00:45:54] We need something.

[00:45:56] At the end of the day,

[00:45:57] maybe you can give us a cameo in the next video.

[00:46:00] What?

[00:46:00] Let me go into something that I think a lot of people,

[00:46:03] for people that like rap music,

[00:46:05] I loved rap music the first time I heard it.

[00:46:07] I was a government contractor and I was kind of known for the music I would play.

[00:46:11] Obviously back then we're talking about Walkman.

[00:46:14] We weren't up to speed with the technology as now, I'm embarrassed to say.

[00:46:18] But I have to say that I was always an NWA,

[00:46:21] you know, easy kind of a fan public enemy.

[00:46:24] So maybe I went a little to the harder side.

[00:46:26] Of course, the environment I was in was a little bit of a harder side.

[00:46:28] We were always trying to pump ourselves up when we were doing

[00:46:31] diplomatic security or facility security,

[00:46:33] because you never knew if we were going to have a live fire event.

[00:46:37] So 1988, the release of Public Entry,

[00:46:39] it takes a nation of millions to hold us back.

[00:46:41] Then, you know, you roll right in straight out of Compton, you know,

[00:46:44] and then obviously we see other great albums,

[00:46:47] a lot of inner city stuff, big deal.

[00:46:50] 1984, the Berlin Wall drops, we talk about looking for freedom.

[00:46:53] And then you've got conscious hip hop artists,

[00:46:56] Common, Mos Def, Tlaib, and I think it's Tlaib Quell.

[00:47:00] Is that right?

[00:47:00] Equally?

[00:47:01] Is that right?

[00:47:01] Do I have that right?

[00:47:02] I don't know him.

[00:47:03] But man, what's your thoughts right there?

[00:47:05] Your 90s hip hop is blowing up.

[00:47:07] Are you, how old are you right then?

[00:47:09] Maybe I'm going too far back.

[00:47:10] No, I mean, but I listen, I go back, you know,

[00:47:13] I'm kind of a music obsessed person.

[00:47:16] Music is, I spend a lot of time listening to a lot of music.

[00:47:20] So going to the roots too.

[00:47:22] So yeah, 90s hip hop.

[00:47:24] There's so much great stuff.

[00:47:25] You mentioned some names there, Common, for the more conscious side.

[00:47:31] There's so much music out there, you know, in terms of hip hop.

[00:47:35] I mean, the 90s had it obviously, you know,

[00:47:37] I mean, there's certain people who say hip hop died at a certain year, right?

[00:47:40] It's like 95 or something or two, you know,

[00:47:43] but I think there's great stuff out today with all the new guys too.

[00:47:46] And yeah, the, you know, Public Enemy,

[00:47:51] you know, yeah, NWA, I mean, there's 2Pac and Biggie.

[00:47:57] I mean, obviously like Wu-Tang and Sugar Hill Gang, baby.

[00:48:02] And I gotta tell you, Sugar Hill was the first set of lyrics

[00:48:07] I ever learned of a rap song.

[00:48:10] At the end of the day, I had it memorized.

[00:48:11] I don't know why.

[00:48:12] And I think I actually even have a deal.

[00:48:15] No, well, I could rap right now, but I'm not going to.

[00:48:17] I don't want to embarrass myself at the end of the day.

[00:48:19] I don't think Steve's looking for this kind of terrible talent.

[00:48:22] I think he's looking for people that actually have a skill level.

[00:48:24] At the end of the day, you know, that song resonated.

[00:48:28] Everybody thought it was something that maybe it was a one-off,

[00:48:30] but then it kind of blew up from there.

[00:48:32] Obviously lots of music came out during the election of Barack Obama.

[00:48:36] I'm not a big fan of Obama's as we know,

[00:48:38] but obviously there was a shift in political rap.

[00:48:41] Jay-Z and Nas, they were celebrating the victory.

[00:48:44] We know that came out.

[00:48:45] 2014, the shooting of Michael Brown, you know, the police officer

[00:48:49] by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri.

[00:48:51] There was obviously lots of BLM, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Cole.

[00:48:56] They released a bunch of music addressing police brutality and racial inequality.

[00:49:01] I don't know what your thoughts on that period right there, Steve?

[00:49:05] Like Jay Cole and K-Dot in that area.

[00:49:08] I mean, you know, I think that when you come from,

[00:49:12] because those guys come from a real place, you know,

[00:49:15] so they're going to say what they're going to say.

[00:49:17] I have respect for them as artists, you know,

[00:49:22] like the Kendrick dis to Drake.

[00:49:23] I mean, I love Drake too, but that was just crazy.

[00:49:27] Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of music that came out there

[00:49:30] and people are obviously going to be, you know, woke,

[00:49:33] but there is a lot of rappers who love Trump, man,

[00:49:35] and they're all coming out, you know, because they see, you know,

[00:49:38] Waka Flocka Flame, Kodak Black.

[00:49:41] I mean, Trump got him out of jail.

[00:49:43] Do you think it had a lot to do with that mugshot?

[00:49:45] Because I think that was an epiphany moment, the Trump mugshot.

[00:49:50] They were arguing the urban vote.

[00:49:51] He'd been attacked by people like YG and Eminem criticizing him.

[00:49:57] I liked early Eminem when he was angry.

[00:49:59] I'm not a big fan of his now.

[00:50:00] There's just too much crying for me.

[00:50:02] I'm not a big fan of that, but obviously a bunch of people

[00:50:05] have recognized that, I mean, looking at inflation,

[00:50:08] looking at the prices at the pump,

[00:50:10] looking at the policies that were willing to fund these nonstop

[00:50:14] kinetic and non-kinetic events all around the globe,

[00:50:17] and I believe the military and just you complex is behind that,

[00:50:20] and they benefit from it directly in every way.

[00:50:22] And they've got a lot of people in Washington, D.C.,

[00:50:24] controlled through lobbyists, foundations, NGOs, super PACs.

[00:50:29] But you're right, and I love what they've done.

[00:50:31] And I think more of the musical world is coming out.

[00:50:35] Hollywood still acts like, you know, a bunch of asses.

[00:50:38] Robert De Niro, the most recent ass,

[00:50:40] but you've got people like Spielberg and others

[00:50:42] still crying about all sorts of things related to this.

[00:50:45] You know, Rob Reiner and other people on social media,

[00:50:48] just a bunch of garbage, just making up stories,

[00:50:50] and we know they're paid.

[00:50:51] We've seen it over and over again.

[00:50:53] They're not paid operatives.

[00:50:54] And that's the great thing I love about what you're doing.

[00:50:56] We know that this is real, genuine, heartfelt music,

[00:51:00] that it's not some paid opposition,

[00:51:01] that somebody came to your record label and said,

[00:51:05] hey, we'll give you a million dollars

[00:51:06] if you make a song that's shitty about Donald Trump.

[00:51:09] Have you ever had anybody attempt to do that with you?

[00:51:12] Just curiosity.

[00:51:13] I don't know if you want to say it on air.

[00:51:14] No, and we are very independent.

[00:51:20] And, you know, yeah, absolutely not.

[00:51:23] I mean, yeah, we're not going to be bullied.

[00:51:26] The whole point of bass records is to literally stand up

[00:51:29] and do what we're going to do

[00:51:31] and have nobody tell us otherwise.

[00:51:33] And, you know, it may result in us getting canceled,

[00:51:36] but it's not going to stop us from actually putting it out

[00:51:39] and people enjoying it because people do enjoy it,

[00:51:42] and we're very fortunate for that.

[00:51:46] I just want to check, how are you doing for time?

[00:51:48] We've got a break coming up,

[00:51:49] but I want to make sure we're not going too far over.

[00:51:51] Are you okay for a little more time?

[00:51:53] Yeah, yeah, sure. Yeah.

[00:51:55] Great. All right.

[00:51:56] Well, when we come back,

[00:51:58] we're obviously going to take a break here

[00:51:59] for before too long.

[00:52:00] George will start cracking that music.

[00:52:02] And at the end of the day, we're going to come back.

[00:52:04] We're going to talk about Stormy Daniels.

[00:52:06] Looks like her attorney has proved in court

[00:52:09] that it wasn't a hush money payment.

[00:52:11] Uh-oh, Trump the Teflon Don might be beating another case

[00:52:16] and bringing them to their knees.

[00:52:17] We'll see what happens right after the break.

[00:52:19] Love you guys, big McMaffee and subscribers, listeners.

[00:52:22] Don't go anywhere.

[00:52:22] We'll be right back with Steve Rachel Based Records.

[00:52:29] If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to.

[00:52:35] This is the last stand on Earth.

[00:53:16] This isn't just coffee.

[00:53:18] It's a battle cry in a cup.

[00:53:20] A declaration of love for the land of the free

[00:53:22] and the home of the brave.

[00:53:24] Crafted by the hands of those who've walked the walk,

[00:53:27] talked the talk,

[00:53:29] and yeah, grown the damn beard.

[00:53:33] Vette founded Vette Focused and Beard Operated.

[00:53:36] This is coffee with a mission, a purpose,

[00:53:38] and a testament to the unyielding American spirit.

[00:53:42] It's a tribute to the tireless resolve

[00:53:44] that courses through the veins of our great nation.

[00:53:48] This is the taste of victory, the flavor of freedom,

[00:53:50] the coffee that stands as firm as our belief

[00:53:54] in America's destiny to lead and never to kneel.

[00:53:58] Beard Vette Coffee is more than a brand.

[00:54:00] It's a legacy steeped in the principles that make America great.

[00:54:04] It's for those who stand with pride under the stars and stripes,

[00:54:08] who uphold the values that light the torch of liberty

[00:54:10] for the world to see.

[00:54:12] So are you ready to supercharge your day the American way?

[00:54:16] Beard Vette Coffee is not just a choice.

[00:54:20] It's a declaration of independence from mediocre mornings.

[00:54:22] Bold, brave, unbound,

[00:54:24] rude for the American patriot.

[00:54:26] Beard Vette Coffee.

[00:54:28] Make your mornings great again.

[00:54:30] Welcome to the next generation of American coffee.

[00:54:32] Welcome to the next generation of American coffee.

[00:54:34] We were busy backstage talking.

[00:54:36] We didn't even notice.

[00:54:37] You know how that is with commercials.

[00:54:38] And otherwise, don't forget to check out our sponsors,

[00:54:40] CofMud.com, BeardVette.com, and of course, Original Glory.

[00:54:46] Check those guys out.

[00:54:48] We'll have a lot of information in the chat.

[00:54:49] We can get you over there.

[00:54:50] So Stormy Daniels.

[00:54:52] Lance, before you go there, I want to ask you a question

[00:54:54] because this is funny.

[00:54:55] So who do you think was the first white rapper?

[00:55:00] Hmm.

[00:55:01] Hmm.

[00:55:02] I'm going to stump you, Zolana.

[00:55:04] First white rapper?

[00:55:06] I'm not sure, George.

[00:55:10] Steve, you know?

[00:55:12] I mean, I would guess, but it'd be, you know, like one of the,

[00:55:14] like, you know, Vanilla Ice, but he's not even that early.

[00:55:17] I don't know.

[00:55:18] So technically it would be Debbie Harry of Blondie,

[00:55:22] who rapped on 1980s Rapture.

[00:55:24] Oh, that's right.

[00:55:26] Hold on. There's another one.

[00:55:27] This is even funnier.

[00:55:28] Five-five, Freddy.

[00:55:29] And then there we got Rodney Dangerfield,

[00:55:31] who did his novelty single, Rap and Rodney, in 1983.

[00:55:35] What?

[00:55:36] Yep.

[00:55:37] Rodney Dangerfield.

[00:55:38] Yeah, Rap and Rodney.

[00:55:39] Don't you remember that?

[00:55:40] Yeah, I loved that movie Back to School.

[00:55:42] I felt like I was that guy when I was in college.

[00:55:44] At the end of the day, I'm like,

[00:55:45] what about the payoffs to the unions?

[00:55:46] You've got to pay off the unions if you want to be able to do business.

[00:55:49] Yep.

[00:55:50] Yeah. One of those deals.

[00:55:51] That's how New York was.

[00:55:53] And then I'm going to throw you another hat tip here

[00:55:55] because you like gangster rap.

[00:55:56] I know you like that as you just played.

[00:55:58] You didn't know that Ivan Raiklin, that's what he listens to.

[00:56:01] I like it.

[00:56:03] If I'm on a team and we run the accountability group

[00:56:06] when Trump gets back in,

[00:56:08] Ivan has promised me the number two spot on the teams.

[00:56:12] So at the end of the day, yeah,

[00:56:14] I could definitely have that kicking as we're going into arrest Nancy Pelosi.

[00:56:19] I'd be excited about breaking that.

[00:56:21] I got one more clip for getting high.

[00:56:23] Let's play.

[00:56:24] I want to play it real quick before we get into...

[00:56:26] Please.

[00:56:27] All right, here we go.

[00:56:29] He was going to go visit his dad, but Hunter got high.

[00:56:33] He had a secret stash, but Hunter got high.

[00:56:38] White house got shut down.

[00:56:43] Yeah.

[00:56:45] Hunter did get high.

[00:56:52] We know that.

[00:56:53] Come on.

[00:56:54] How much laughing were you guys doing when you were writing this thing together?

[00:56:58] This is very serious political sad sire of the highest order.

[00:57:02] There was not a smile in the room.

[00:57:06] We were like this.

[00:57:08] Oh, come on.

[00:57:09] I don't know if people can see my face, but it was fun.

[00:57:12] We're doing our thing.

[00:57:15] Was there any line that you decided, no, man, that's a really good line.

[00:57:19] We can't do it.

[00:57:20] We cannot use that.

[00:57:21] I got it just handed over to Chris Wall and he's the maestro.

[00:57:25] To me, he's God.

[00:57:27] I mean, not to be blasphemous.

[00:57:29] We put out a song, Famous Again,

[00:57:31] about making Jesus famous again with Chad Prather.

[00:57:34] What he says goes,

[00:57:38] I think it's a good thing that we're doing this.

[00:57:40] We're doing this.

[00:57:41] Because we're going to be able to do it.

[00:57:43] And we're going to be able to do it.

[00:57:45] So, you know,

[00:57:46] especially when it comes to lyrics in a song, you know,

[00:57:50] so he kind of your Rick Rubin.

[00:57:52] I actually was in a,

[00:57:53] I was at an event at Rick Rubin's house.

[00:57:55] I've actually been in the production air stream with Rick Rubin.

[00:57:59] I was inside there.

[00:58:00] And I don't know if you've ever seen it, but yeah.

[00:58:03] At the end of the day,

[00:58:04] is he kind of your Rick Rubin there at based records?

[00:58:07] I think he is.

[00:58:08] I think he's kind of the best.

[00:58:09] Yeah.

[00:58:10] Rick Rubin's character.

[00:58:11] I like him.

[00:58:12] Sorry.

[00:58:13] Sorry to keep talking,

[00:58:14] but more than that because you know,

[00:58:16] Rick Rubin actually doesn't really have any sort of formal talent.

[00:58:19] He is like the world's greatest creative director when it comes to

[00:58:22] music. So yeah.

[00:58:24] Chris has that talent,

[00:58:25] but he's also more intense where he's writing songs,

[00:58:28] playing the instrument.

[00:58:29] He gets number one hits with, you know,

[00:58:32] you know, great.

[00:58:33] These were written with Toby Keith and,

[00:58:35] and he's actually has real trust.

[00:58:36] So Chris is a little more of a, of a Swiss army knife, I would say.

[00:58:39] But I mean, in terms of the, he is in terms of being that,

[00:58:43] that he is. Yeah. You know, but I'm just trying to, you know,

[00:58:46] fill this character more in terms of if we're directly comparing the

[00:58:49] two, I don't know if that's too obsessive.

[00:58:52] No, I think at the end of the day, I mean,

[00:58:53] obviously there's creative genius and then there's creative genius with

[00:58:57] a skill set backing it. Right.

[00:58:59] There's that ability to engineer and master songs to have a good ear

[00:59:03] for music. My ears aren't too great, too much boom, boom.

[00:59:06] George has got much better hearing than I do at the end of the day.

[00:59:09] I, you know, there's a whole section of tones.

[00:59:12] I don't hear anymore to too much gunfire and too many,

[00:59:15] too many loud explosions damaged my ears years ago.

[00:59:18] So it's one of those things that everybody's got a skill level,

[00:59:21] but at that point to put all the pieces together,

[00:59:24] I've been in some music studios over the years where different

[00:59:27] talent were working on their, their music and their songs.

[00:59:31] Some of them were big songs, but you know, when you're in a studio,

[00:59:34] nobody really understands it. It's repetitive, right?

[00:59:37] You might sit, play the same track or the same bar over and over

[00:59:40] and over and over and over again.

[00:59:42] But to have that skill, to know that this is a winner,

[00:59:45] that hooks a winner. That's a whole different thing.

[00:59:48] You know, cause if it was that easy, everybody would be doing it.

[00:59:51] And it's not that easy.

[00:59:52] It is interesting that social media has changed it where people that

[00:59:55] don't have any, you know, using that American idol model.

[00:59:58] And I'm not saying that's a good model.

[01:00:00] I'm saying that people are building audiences online that was never done

[01:00:04] before, you know, and that's, that's the big part, right?

[01:00:07] Cause that was the power of the music label prior.

[01:00:09] They controlled that.

[01:00:10] Now people can go on YouTube.

[01:00:12] You take a Justin Bieber or somebody else, cause let's face it,

[01:00:14] there's lots of talented people,

[01:00:16] but what you guys do is a whole different thing because you have to

[01:00:19] nurture that talent in the right way.

[01:00:21] You kind of have to, you know, it's like,

[01:00:22] it's like rough clay, even though they've got incredible talent,

[01:00:26] you have to mold them because let's face it,

[01:00:28] Hunter got high with some genius.

[01:00:30] And I think it's one of those,

[01:00:31] one of those tracks is going to have legs for a long time.

[01:00:34] George, you have a comment?

[01:00:35] Listen,

[01:00:36] bring on the music.

[01:00:37] It's like music.

[01:00:38] It's like when they,

[01:00:39] they make memes and now you make an,

[01:00:41] a meme with like music just compliments everything.

[01:00:44] It's really music should be,

[01:00:46] it's always free speech.

[01:00:47] Like you listen to music to get away from escape from every day

[01:00:50] music.

[01:00:51] You go to a ball game because you want to forget about what's going

[01:00:54] on in the world.

[01:00:55] You want to have fun,

[01:00:56] enjoy yourself, listen to music,

[01:00:57] relax or have fun or dance.

[01:00:59] I want all this political stuff, Neil and all that crap.

[01:01:02] And that's what they're trying to do.

[01:01:03] And listen,

[01:01:04] we need more artists.

[01:01:06] Like what are you saying?

[01:01:07] No artists are still in the closet that they support Trump,

[01:01:09] but get out of the closet.

[01:01:10] You got a lot of support,

[01:01:11] more support than you know.

[01:01:12] And the only way to defeat is to win is to win.

[01:01:15] And that's the only way to win is to win.

[01:01:17] And that's the only way to win is to win is to win.

[01:01:19] The only way to defeat is to win is to get out of closet and stand

[01:01:22] up for yourself.

[01:01:23] That's it.

[01:01:24] I mean, stop hiding.

[01:01:25] Well,

[01:01:26] it's hard because the music and film industry is retaliatory.

[01:01:30] They that's what they've survived on that vicious counterculture

[01:01:33] of, oh yeah, really?

[01:01:34] You're not going to go along with the agenda or the model or

[01:01:37] the narrative.

[01:01:38] We'll teach you a lesson.

[01:01:39] You know, it's built into the industry.

[01:01:41] You know, even Steve mentioned it, but I think it's interesting.

[01:01:44] I think that,

[01:01:45] I think you have to look at it from the big picture.

[01:01:47] You guys are doing something that's really groundbreaking.

[01:01:50] Some other people maybe have set the original tone,

[01:01:53] but you're,

[01:01:54] you're moving forward in a way that I think is beneficial to

[01:01:56] everybody because my opinion is look, I'll fight for everybody.

[01:01:59] I'll fight for the left.

[01:02:00] I'll fight for the nonpartisans.

[01:02:01] I'll fight for the right.

[01:02:02] At the end of the day,

[01:02:03] I believe in a constitutional Republic and that includes free

[01:02:06] speech in any way you want to do it.

[01:02:08] My opinion is long as you're not calling for violence.

[01:02:10] And as long as you're not trying to destroy our children in the

[01:02:13] schools,

[01:02:14] I don't want to control anybody when it comes to their belief

[01:02:17] system.

[01:02:18] Cause that's what our great country was founded on, right?

[01:02:20] The grand experiment of freedom.

[01:02:22] You're right.

[01:02:23] God country family.

[01:02:24] I think everybody should have the right to say what they want

[01:02:26] to do a say.

[01:02:27] And at the end of the day,

[01:02:28] as long as they're not trying to you know,

[01:02:30] and I always say piss in somebody else's stream and a vicious

[01:02:33] or mean or violent way,

[01:02:35] they should be able to go ahead and do it.

[01:02:37] And so I don't see any of that.

[01:02:38] I see music as being a uniting force.

[01:02:40] It always has.

[01:02:41] I've seen lots of people.

[01:02:42] I spent lots of time in lots of different locations and you

[01:02:45] music could really unite people all over the globe.

[01:02:48] People are already,

[01:02:49] I saw the Brazilians actually gave you a shout out for the

[01:02:52] Hunter got high song.

[01:02:54] And I saw it over on getter also get her.

[01:02:56] There was another shout out.

[01:02:57] You might not have caught by one of the Brazilian channels,

[01:03:00] but that's what happens, right?

[01:03:01] You'll see it in China.

[01:03:02] You're going to see this song go everywhere because people know

[01:03:05] what's going on with our government.

[01:03:06] They've already dealt with,

[01:03:07] you know, corrupt governments of their own.

[01:03:09] And this is corruption of the inner circle,

[01:03:11] you know, Joe Biden was installed.

[01:03:12] We all know that, but it doesn't stop right?

[01:03:15] Lawfare, the attacks, stormy Daniels.

[01:03:18] Looks like that case has fallen apart.

[01:03:20] Alvin Bragg is probably sitting in a bathroom somewhere crying

[01:03:23] because we know about the hush money by the way,

[01:03:25] hush money could be a great story for a rap song.

[01:03:28] I just want to throw that out there for you, Steve.

[01:03:30] Hush, hush baby.

[01:03:32] At the end of the day,

[01:03:33] it's an opportunity because here's another story that

[01:03:35] obviously was lawfare.

[01:03:37] It's all part of keeping Trump busy and not allowing him

[01:03:40] to do what he needs to do, which is the rally.

[01:03:43] And to unite the country.

[01:03:45] Her attorney says he took the stand on Thursday and he just said

[01:03:49] that he denied.

[01:03:51] I'm going to say that again, denied that the $130,000.

[01:03:54] I'm going to say it with a smile payment from Michael

[01:03:56] Cohn to his client was hush money.

[01:03:58] He is saying that that payment was not hush money.

[01:04:01] And then in fact, it was a consideration payment.

[01:04:05] And that's a contractual term.

[01:04:07] So whatever that consideration was for,

[01:04:09] I have no idea.

[01:04:10] I don't know if it's for something that Michael,

[01:04:12] you also understand that Michael's has been outed by a

[01:04:17] home equity banker that said that he took money out as a

[01:04:21] line of credit against his house.

[01:04:24] That $130,000 was borrowed by Michael Cohn.

[01:04:26] There doesn't seem to be any attachment to Donald Trump.

[01:04:29] So what do you guys think?

[01:04:31] You think this is,

[01:04:32] is this rack up another one for Donald the Teflon Don

[01:04:35] Trump or not?

[01:04:38] Well, listen, they should put a motion to dismiss the case

[01:04:41] right now and just get in.

[01:04:43] They should be dismissed if you had an honorable judge.

[01:04:46] But we know we don't.

[01:04:47] But there's even more stuff that came out today.

[01:04:49] We got Mark Pomerantz.

[01:04:51] He led the charge and indict President Trump in New York

[01:04:53] City.

[01:04:55] They had him on in the committee and he kept pleading

[01:04:58] the fifth.

[01:04:59] I have the tape for it,

[01:05:00] but every time I asked he's pleading the fifth,

[01:05:02] pleading the fifth because he doesn't want to

[01:05:04] discriminate himself.

[01:05:06] And when he bumped out, actually,

[01:05:08] Alvin Bragg wasn't going to take the case on.

[01:05:10] He said no.

[01:05:11] And eventually he did.

[01:05:12] So there's a lot of legal stuff going on.

[01:05:15] Cowards and traitors and liars.

[01:05:17] That's what we have here.

[01:05:18] George, you want to play the clip?

[01:05:20] The clip I got?

[01:05:21] Yeah, sure.

[01:05:23] How long have you known Alvin Bragg?

[01:05:25] A second.

[01:05:29] Fifth amendment?

[01:05:30] Yes, ma'am.

[01:05:31] Do you respect Alvin Bragg?

[01:05:33] Same answer.

[01:05:35] So here's the kicker with this guy.

[01:06:18] When he left, right,

[01:06:20] he went on to write a book on a topic in his book.

[01:06:22] He claims the investigation developed evidence

[01:06:25] convincing us that Donald Trump had committed serious

[01:06:28] crimes.

[01:06:29] He resigned early last year after Bragg just weeks

[01:06:32] into his first term in office, Lance.

[01:06:34] He decided not to seek this indictment.

[01:06:37] But then he actually went after and did it.

[01:06:40] But this guy in his book talks about how he wants to

[01:06:43] go after Trump.

[01:06:45] If that's not nefarious, what is anymore?

[01:06:48] Now it doesn't affect you as directly, Steve,

[01:06:50] because you're in Canada.

[01:06:51] You have your own problem with Trudeau.

[01:06:53] I do.

[01:06:54] Poor guys.

[01:06:55] And here's my question about Trudeau.

[01:06:56] Do you think he is Castro's love child?

[01:07:00] What do you think?

[01:07:01] Is he Castro's love child?

[01:07:02] I want you to go on the record right now.

[01:07:04] What do you think?

[01:07:05] He can't do it.

[01:07:06] He can't.

[01:07:07] He's in Canada.

[01:07:08] He can get in trouble.

[01:07:09] Yeah, they're monitoring us.

[01:07:11] Plead the fifth, bro.

[01:07:15] Take the fifth.

[01:07:16] That's what I'm offering.

[01:07:17] I'll plead the fifth.

[01:07:18] Yeah.

[01:07:19] I mean, Trudeau is really bad.

[01:07:21] Like it's, yeah, it's bad.

[01:07:24] Yeah.

[01:07:25] You know, we see the stories down here.

[01:07:27] We saw what happened with the truckers.

[01:07:29] We covered that, why it was going on.

[01:07:31] It's a complicated environment.

[01:07:32] You know, you've got WEF members.

[01:07:35] Obviously there's no doubt that there seems to be

[01:07:37] a nefarious plot with big organizations like the WHO,

[01:07:40] the WEF, the UN.

[01:07:42] We hear the stories, the foundations

[01:07:44] and the rest of them being funded.

[01:07:45] It's pretty crazy.

[01:07:46] Now I came across something.

[01:07:48] It's a concert.

[01:07:49] I want to get your input on it.

[01:07:50] Somebody came up with a concert poster

[01:07:52] on a new concert.

[01:07:53] You may, you being the meme artist that you are,

[01:07:56] I'm sure you're going to appreciate this.

[01:07:57] George, throw it up and I want your input.

[01:07:59] Do you think this concert would be a success?

[01:08:02] Live in concert at the Dumpster Fire

[01:08:08] for one night only.

[01:08:09] Uncle Bozy and the Cannibals.

[01:08:11] Also Let's Go Brandon and Dog Face Pony Söder

[01:08:14] also performing Sleepy Joe and his Bumbling Clown Show

[01:08:17] with special appearance by Korn Pop.

[01:08:20] I think that would do well.

[01:08:22] What do you think, Steve?

[01:08:23] You know, it sounds like a good time, you know?

[01:08:28] Yeah.

[01:08:29] Another good poke.

[01:08:30] I thought it was amusing.

[01:08:32] I've seen lots of the concert posters over the year.

[01:08:34] I even have some collectible ones

[01:08:35] that you get over the years.

[01:08:37] Next thing, did you see the cringeworthy

[01:08:40] Drew Barrymore, Kamala Harris interview?

[01:08:43] Yeah, I saw clips.

[01:08:44] I mean, I didn't see the whole thing.

[01:08:46] I don't know who did it.

[01:08:47] Oh man.

[01:08:48] I didn't either.

[01:08:49] I saw the clips.

[01:08:50] So we're going to, we have a clip from it.

[01:08:52] Kamama, I guess Kamama Mamala,

[01:08:55] Drew Barrymore cringeworthy.

[01:08:57] Somebody's taken it and had a little fun with it.

[01:09:00] I think it fits what Drew Barrymore did.

[01:09:02] I mean, it's disgusting.

[01:09:03] I can't stand the ass kissing of Hollywood

[01:09:06] or any other industry when people get paid.

[01:09:09] I know The Rock, I heard that he had gotten paid

[01:09:11] allegedly $5 million to endorse Biden.

[01:09:14] I think he has regrets now about it.

[01:09:16] I don't know that Drew Barrymore is any different.

[01:09:18] I'm not saying she got paid for the interview,

[01:09:19] but it sure doesn't set the right political tone.

[01:09:21] George, go ahead and play it.

[01:09:23] Here we go.

[01:09:24] I mean, I don't really know about being

[01:09:32] the Mamala of the country.

[01:09:35] Okay.

[01:09:37] It's Kamala.

[01:09:39] It's Kamala, I think.

[01:09:42] Fuck, I don't even know.

[01:09:44] I keep thinking in my head.

[01:09:46] You're a little close.

[01:09:52] Let's bring social distancing back.

[01:09:54] Okay.

[01:09:56] Your breath is rancid.

[01:10:03] You're still Josie Grossie, aren't you?

[01:10:07] You're a little too fucking close.

[01:10:10] Okay.

[01:10:12] Why is she so close to me?

[01:10:17] All right, don't touch me.

[01:10:20] That's only reserved for Willie.

[01:10:26] Well, you know, think about how the country

[01:10:29] is still not used to...

[01:10:31] The interview was not far from this.

[01:10:34] All right, and when I get uncomfortable,

[01:10:36] I start talking with my hands.

[01:10:40] We all need a tremendous hug in the world right now.

[01:10:43] Yeah.

[01:10:44] We don't need a hug, Drew.

[01:10:46] We need the National Guard.

[01:10:52] You know, the thing is,

[01:10:55] I have my mother's...

[01:10:56] You can cut that, George.

[01:10:58] Okay.

[01:10:59] It's tough.

[01:11:00] It's funny as hell, but just hearing that cackle...

[01:11:03] Yeah, the original interview was just about

[01:11:05] as bad as that.

[01:11:06] It's pretty pathetic.

[01:11:08] We've seen this over and over again,

[01:11:10] whether it's Ellen DeGeneres or others.

[01:11:12] Did you see...

[01:11:13] I don't know if you caught this, Steve,

[01:11:15] and we're just about wrapping up.

[01:11:17] Did you catch the gag order they threw on Candice Owens?

[01:11:19] And it's funny, you mentioned earlier,

[01:11:21] I guess, the Daily Wire.

[01:11:22] And what's interesting, were you surprised

[01:11:24] that Ben Shapiro's rap song hit number one?

[01:11:27] Did that surprise you at all?

[01:11:29] Because it kind of caught me off guard.

[01:11:30] I didn't think it.

[01:11:31] No, it didn't surprise me at all.

[01:11:34] I think that the Daily Wire, combined with Tom McDonald

[01:11:36] promoting a song, is going to go number one for sure,

[01:11:39] especially, yeah, with the way they do it.

[01:11:43] Well, it definitely did.

[01:11:45] I don't know how long it stayed at number one.

[01:11:46] It was wildly successful.

[01:11:47] But obviously we know there's a feud going on

[01:11:49] between Candice Owens and Ben Shapiro.

[01:11:52] George, if you want to throw up that media piece.

[01:11:55] Interestingly enough, they put a gag order on Candice,

[01:11:58] because she's not supposed to disparage them

[01:12:00] in her original agreement with them.

[01:12:02] It seems like Candice was asked to comment on this,

[01:12:07] and she said, I wish I could comment on this, but I can't.

[01:12:10] Hold on, let's get it.

[01:12:11] Yeah.

[01:12:12] Yeah.

[01:12:15] Yeah, what are they going to do to debate?

[01:12:17] They're supposed to do a debate.

[01:12:18] I don't know if they're still doing that.

[01:12:20] Well, you know, it's interesting that you bring that up.

[01:12:22] George, can they hear us right now?

[01:12:25] Yeah.

[01:12:26] Okay.

[01:12:27] So it's interesting, Steve, that you bring that up.

[01:12:29] The debate, allegedly, this is part of the dispute,

[01:12:33] when the debate was supposed to happen,

[01:12:35] Candice was out of the country.

[01:12:37] So some people believe that Candice did that as optics

[01:12:40] and that it wasn't really ever really planned.

[01:12:45] It was more her kind of doing it for the crowd,

[01:12:48] obviously for the clickbait or the engagement.

[01:12:51] I don't know if that's true or not.

[01:12:53] I don't know whether or not she was out of the country.

[01:12:55] I don't know if you heard anything more on that, George,

[01:12:57] or if you did, Steve.

[01:12:58] I'm not positive.

[01:12:59] I don't know the whole background on all of this.

[01:13:01] I just thought it was interesting now

[01:13:02] that they're throwing a gag order on her.

[01:13:05] You know what, Lance?

[01:13:06] I didn't hear anything about that what you were just saying,

[01:13:08] but yeah, a gag order?

[01:13:10] Why do they want to put a gag order?

[01:13:12] Because they don't want the truth to be revealed.

[01:13:15] It's the only reason.

[01:13:17] I mean, Ben Shapiro is a little biatch.

[01:13:19] I can't stand him.

[01:13:21] You're not a fan of Ben Shapiro.

[01:13:23] I don't know him well enough.

[01:13:24] I've seen his content.

[01:13:25] I've listened to his podcast.

[01:13:26] I think he's talented in what he does.

[01:13:28] The Daily Wire, I like what they do.

[01:13:30] I can't say I haven't.

[01:13:32] At the end of the day,

[01:13:33] I think the Middle East has always gotten

[01:13:35] the difficult arguments.

[01:13:37] I think it's obviously more complicated.

[01:13:39] It's more than just what we see on the face,

[01:13:42] you know, Hamas and Israel.

[01:13:43] I think it's just, it's tough.

[01:13:45] It's tough on both sides of the people.

[01:13:47] I think there's lots of horrendous things

[01:13:48] happening to the people in both of the groups,

[01:13:51] Palestine and Israel.

[01:13:52] I don't know where it's all going to end up.

[01:13:54] I don't think it's a good idea,

[01:13:55] but I also think that the U.S.

[01:13:57] is constantly being involved in foreign wars.

[01:13:59] I don't know if that's good either.

[01:14:01] I don't like what they're doing in Ukraine

[01:14:03] or otherwise in other parts of the world,

[01:14:05] but again, that's what our military

[01:14:06] industrial complex does.

[01:14:07] Steve, I want to give you a minute

[01:14:09] to promote your website, your social media,

[01:14:11] anything you got coming up.

[01:14:13] What the hell?

[01:14:14] Sorry.

[01:14:15] Yeah, it's okay.

[01:14:16] Go ahead.

[01:14:17] I was summoning music.

[01:14:19] So we are Bass Records.

[01:14:21] That is B-A-S-T-E.

[01:14:24] So it's a pun on Bass.

[01:14:28] Actually, Lance was joking that

[01:14:30] Bass is on a watch list now.

[01:14:33] But they can't get us

[01:14:34] because we have a different spelling.

[01:14:36] That was me.

[01:14:37] Yeah.

[01:14:38] So Bass Records across all socials,

[01:14:40] follow us on Twitter and everything else.

[01:14:45] Our website is BassRecords.com.

[01:15:55] in their mouth over Twitter 1.0.

[01:15:57] Yeah, I mean, listen, you know,

[01:15:58] I can talk about Elon.

[01:15:59] I don't necessarily trust Elon.

[01:16:02] But you know, it's a place where obviously

[01:16:04] a lot of people are putting ideas,

[01:16:06] so you know, the marketplace of ideas.

[01:16:07] But we're on Truth.

[01:16:08] We post on Truth

[01:16:16] they stepped up when a lot of other places didn't

[01:16:19] and they embraced and welcomed everybody.
