This injustice not only threatens the integrity of the legal profession but also undermines public confidence in the impartiality of the courts, creating a chilling effect on legal advocacy and free speech. The film aims to expose and challenge these disparities, advocating for equal treatment under the law regardless of political affiliation.

[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West, you are listening
[00:00:19] to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show.
[00:00:50] All right, happy to have you along, my fellow Americans, Sam Bushman live on your radio.
[00:00:56] Hard-hitting news the network refused to use, no doubt, continues now.
[00:01:00] This, my fellow Americans, is the broadcast for December the 19th in the year of our Lord,
[00:01:05] 2024.
[00:01:06] This is Hour 2 of 2, the goal always to protect life, liberty, and property, to promote God,
[00:01:13] family, and country.
[00:01:14] We produce some on your radio in the traditions of our Founding Fathers.
[00:01:17] Yes, indeed, we use the Constitution, imagine that, the Supreme Law of the Land, as our guide
[00:01:24] in the tradition of the Founding Fathers.
[00:01:26] We reject revolution unless it's a Jesus revolution, then we're in because we follow the Prince
[00:01:31] of Peace.
[00:01:31] And last but not least, we believe the checks and balances brilliantly put in place by the
[00:01:36] Founding Fathers, one of the peaceful, restorative solutions we have at our fingertips.
[00:01:40] As you know, Eldon Stahl is with me both hours today, JBS.org.
[00:01:44] Doing a phenomenal job.
[00:01:45] He's the field coordinator, and we just appreciate all that he does.
[00:01:49] Brian Russ was with us last hour talking about honest money.
[00:01:54] Freewatercoinco.com for them.
[00:01:56] And now, we've got an incredible guest.
[00:01:58] He's an attorney.
[00:02:00] He's a patriot.
[00:02:01] He's a constitutionalist.
[00:02:03] And a whole lot more.
[00:02:04] He's a distinguished constitutional scholar, attorney, former law professor.
[00:02:10] And we can go into his career, but man, it is illustrious to say the least.
[00:02:13] John C. Eastman with us.
[00:02:16] You're one of my heroes, sir.
[00:02:18] Welcome to the broadcast.
[00:02:20] Well, thank you very much.
[00:02:21] What a kind and generous introduction.
[00:02:24] Let's start out and talk about you, though.
[00:02:26] You were so distinguished, so well-known, so valuable over at the Claremont Institute and
[00:02:31] everything else until you decided to say, wait a minute, something's wrong?
[00:02:34] Is that what happened?
[00:02:36] Well, you know, the president called me in late November 2020.
[00:02:40] Courts were uniformly refusing to hear the evidence of illegality that clearly occurred
[00:02:45] in the conduct of the election and asked me to help with a strategy to get this thing
[00:02:50] heard by the Supreme Court and look at other constitutional options to address this travesty
[00:02:56] of an illegal election.
[00:02:58] So I answered that call, and I would do it again, although one would hope that my colleagues
[00:03:07] in the legal profession wouldn't take so heartily to the lawfare that they've waged against me
[00:03:12] ever since.
[00:03:13] But this is about as critical a moment in our nation's history that we've had.
[00:03:20] We've had some other big ones.
[00:03:21] But the abuse of the criminal justice and bar disciplinary proceedings against law enforcement
[00:03:27] lawyers, for doing what lawyers are supposed to do, which is zealously advocate for their
[00:03:31] clients, is really stunning.
[00:03:34] And what they're trying to do is destroy the rule of law.
[00:03:36] And they've made no bones about this.
[00:03:38] They're trying to send a message that no other lawyers will want to take on these kind of
[00:03:43] cases.
[00:03:44] And so I've been standing firm and hard.
[00:03:48] I've got lots of millions of dollars in legal fees already incurred.
[00:03:52] But we think it's important to push back against this abuse of the justice system.
[00:03:57] I couldn't agree more with that.
[00:04:00] So I know you've stood tall.
[00:04:01] I know they've tried to disbar you.
[00:04:03] They've tried to kick you out of the different roles that you've played at universities and
[00:04:08] everywhere else.
[00:04:09] You've done such a phenomenal job.
[00:04:11] Is Donald Trump going to give you a pardon?
[00:04:15] What's kind of going to happen here?
[00:04:17] Do you know?
[00:04:18] Well, my view is I don't need a pardon because we did nothing wrong.
[00:04:21] And laying the groundwork for that and getting the courts to agree, I think, is extremely
[00:04:28] important.
[00:04:29] But even if he were to contemplate a pardon, it would only apply to federal actions.
[00:04:34] I'm under indictment in Georgia and Arizona, although news out of Georgia this morning is
[00:04:41] Fonnie Willis, the district attorney in Atlanta, was disqualified by the Court of Appeals.
[00:04:45] Yeah, so we just start going, na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey, goodbye.
[00:04:51] Not quite yet because she gets an appeal to the Supreme Court of Georgia and it goes to
[00:04:57] the prosecuting attorney's counsel.
[00:05:00] Now, one of my one of the alleged co-conspirators in that Georgia effort to expose illegality was
[00:05:07] Burt Jones, then a state senator and now the lieutenant governor.
[00:05:12] Fonnie Willis hosted a fundraiser for his opponent.
[00:05:15] And so earlier on, she was held to be disqualified from pursuing him.
[00:05:21] It went to the prosecuting attorney's counsel and they said there's no crime here and declined
[00:05:25] to prosecute.
[00:05:26] So one hopes that that will be the result here in relatively short order as well.
[00:05:32] Does she really want to appeal this, though, and have all that drug out, too?
[00:05:35] Because wouldn't the discovery be just rich?
[00:05:37] Well, the discovery has already been rich, of course.
[00:05:40] We learned of this salacious affair with a married man, still married at the time, where
[00:05:45] he was paying for lavish vacations to Aruba and cruises and Napa wine tours and all that
[00:05:52] stuff.
[00:05:53] But more importantly, she has corrupted the jury pool with statements, public statements before
[00:06:02] the AME church in Atlanta, for example, accusing the people she's prosecuting of playing the
[00:06:11] race card by raising concerns about her disqualification.
[00:06:15] That's not something a prosecutor is allowed to do.
[00:06:18] And the judge already said it was improper.
[00:06:20] And so that alone ought to have the case thrown out because we've tainted the jury pool.
[00:06:25] Anyway, we'll see what happens down there.
[00:06:27] There's lots of water still to go under that bridge.
[00:06:30] In my opinion, lawfare will be the issue.
[00:06:35] In other words, just not caring about the law and just saying, hey, our goal is to destroy
[00:06:38] the rule of law in this country.
[00:06:40] In my opinion, that's the quintessential undoing of this country if we're not very careful.
[00:06:44] Do you think with the Trump administration at the helm?
[00:06:47] And do you think we can get a handle on this, Mr.
[00:06:49] Eastman?
[00:06:50] Well, you know, some of the people that have been involved in this lawfare, I think, have
[00:06:55] engaged in a criminal conspiracy to deprive people of their constitutional rights, their
[00:07:00] rights to free speech, the right to petition the government for redress of grievances, the
[00:07:05] right to an attorney.
[00:07:08] And I hope that the new Attorney General, Pam Bondi, nominated, and the new head of the Civil
[00:07:15] Rights Division, Army Dillon, nominated, will look seriously at those kind of charges.
[00:07:23] Because I think unless people are held accountable for what they've done here, they're going to
[00:07:27] continue to do it at the next time the opportunity presents itself.
[00:07:32] And if they're not held accountable, it'll go on steroids, too, won't it?
[00:07:38] Well, I think so.
[00:07:39] And that's why I've been fighting as hard as I am.
[00:07:41] And by the way, people can keep up to date with what we're dealing with.
[00:07:45] I use my Legal Defense Fund website as a blog.
[00:07:48] It's called givesendgo.com slash Eastman.
[00:07:52] People can donate to help us, but they can also send prayers, and then they can read the
[00:07:56] updates we post there so that they're armed with the information about what's actually
[00:08:00] going on.
[00:08:02] All right.
[00:08:03] Eldon, do you want to chime in here for a minute?
[00:08:08] Boy, there's, yeah, there's so much lawfare going on.
[00:08:11] I agree that that will certainly has great potential to be the undoing of our country.
[00:08:17] That's such a pernicious thing and more difficult for the people to stop it than say something
[00:08:27] at the legislative or presidential levels in a lot of ways.
[00:08:34] All right.
[00:08:35] All right.
[00:08:35] I'm on givesendgo.com slash Eastman, and it says updates.
[00:08:40] Update number 49, Constitution Day.
[00:08:43] Good news in Georgia.
[00:08:45] 48, lawfare on its heels.
[00:08:48] 47.
[00:08:49] Anyway, it just goes on and on with updates.
[00:08:51] And so when you fund at GoFundMe, what you're doing is funding John's ability to communicate
[00:08:55] with the public about what's really happening.
[00:08:57] And this is critical because the propaganda for the mainstream press, they haven't been
[00:09:02] very helpful.
[00:09:03] It seems to me the press should be, you know, the who, what, when, where guys calling this
[00:09:08] to account.
[00:09:08] But they're really running propaganda for the lawfare, aren't they, John?
[00:09:13] Well, they are.
[00:09:14] And I'm a little behind on updates.
[00:09:16] I'm going to work on one here this week.
[00:09:18] But, you know, one of the things that's rather extraordinary, the California bar proceedings
[00:09:23] against me lasted 10 weeks.
[00:09:26] The longest and most expensive bar proceeding in history is how one person described it.
[00:09:31] In our opening appellate brief challenging the decision recommending my disbarment, we said
[00:09:37] this has gone beyond George Orwell.
[00:09:39] You know, remember Orwell, you know, the government famously comes in and demands that you not only
[00:09:44] repeat a lie, two plus two equals five, but come to believe the lie.
[00:09:48] And in our opening brief, we say this goes beyond that.
[00:09:51] This is Rousseau, the original socialist, Marxist political philosopher.
[00:09:57] And he said, you know, true freedom exists in submitting to the general will.
[00:10:02] And if you don't submit to the general will, then you need to be destroyed.
[00:10:07] That's what the lawfare is.
[00:10:08] It's the general will, the narrative that people like Liz Cheney had carefully crafted
[00:10:13] to go after Donald Trump.
[00:10:14] It's a false narrative.
[00:10:16] And if you don't submit to it, if you don't bend the knee, they're going to destroy you.
[00:10:21] And the general will, Mr. Eastman, sorry to interrupt.
[00:10:25] The general will, I just want to explain to people, that alone is a misnomered label.
[00:10:30] They make you believe that's what everybody kind of wants, the general will.
[00:10:33] That's generally what everybody expects and thinks.
[00:10:35] And when you do polls and when you really dig in and give people the facts, they're like,
[00:10:38] wait a minute, hold on.
[00:10:40] Both sides of the aisle say this is insanity when they really get the facts.
[00:10:44] But if you're kind of under this lie of general will or kind of what, you make people believe
[00:10:48] that this whacked out socialist communist faction is carrying out the general will.
[00:10:53] And Trump's win and the landslide against Kamala proves the point I'm trying to get across.
[00:10:59] What do you say?
[00:11:00] I think you're absolutely right.
[00:11:02] And I should have explained that Rousseau's understanding of the general will is the will
[00:11:07] that the leaders of society determine is the general will.
[00:11:10] It's kind of like calling the New York Times and ABC News the mainstream media anymore.
[00:11:15] There's nothing mainstream about them anymore.
[00:11:17] They are a relatively small elite clique trying to control the direction of our thought and the
[00:11:25] direction of our government.
[00:11:26] And it needs freedom fighters to stand up and fight it.
[00:11:33] Ladies and gentlemen, lawfare is not the general will.
[00:11:35] The desire to destroy this country by upending all laws and creating mass confusion, that's
[00:11:42] Alinsky's plan.
[00:11:43] That's not the plan of the founding fathers.
[00:11:45] I'll tell you that right now.
[00:11:46] And John C.
[00:11:47] Eastman is standing with the founding fathers.
[00:11:49] He wants accountability in the courts.
[00:11:51] I hope we get it.
[00:11:53] And they've created a film to help you all get caught up to speed on this because it's
[00:11:57] complex.
[00:11:58] It's hard to understand all of it.
[00:12:00] But there's nothing better than a film to help you get kind of a handle on it.
[00:12:03] It's called the Eastman Dilemma, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:12:06] Lawfare or justice is the question.
[00:12:09] It's a documentary how conservatives have been victimized by lawfare.
[00:12:16] EastmanDilemma.com.
[00:12:17] If you want to learn more about that, EastmanDilemma.com, check it out.
[00:12:21] But let's start there, though.
[00:12:22] As you put the film together, who appears in it?
[00:12:25] Give me kind of a breakdown.
[00:12:27] Well, you know, I've not seen the final cut yet, but it's produced by a group out of Hollywood
[00:12:33] called the Madison Media Group.
[00:12:35] They interviewed me extensively.
[00:12:37] They interviewed Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz extensively and Harvard law professor
[00:12:43] and former University of Chicago law professor Lawrence Lessig extensively to just talk about
[00:12:48] how nuts this lawfare stuff is.
[00:12:51] And Lessig in particular disagreed with my constitutional analysis.
[00:12:55] But the notion that disagreements on open questions of constitutional interpretation should
[00:13:01] lead to disbarment or criminal prosecution, he just finds extraordinary.
[00:13:05] And so this film is designed to expose some of the evidence and legal arguments I had in 2020,
[00:13:14] but also the lawfare that has been leveled against me since then.
[00:13:19] And on the title, I want to note it doesn't say Eastman's possessive dilemma.
[00:13:24] It's not my dilemma.
[00:13:26] I've never had a second thought about needing to stand and fight for this.
[00:13:30] I mean, look, what's going on here is an attempt to hide significant illegality in the conduct
[00:13:39] of the election and to target for destruction anybody that would try and shine a light on
[00:13:44] that and expose the falsity of the government's narrative.
[00:13:47] Well, and that's how you know that their agenda is propaganda.
[00:13:50] Why can't they debate this in the public?
[00:13:52] Why do they have to go after your law license?
[00:13:54] It reminds me of Sidney Powell, how they said she couldn't even forward her arguments.
[00:13:58] Let's disbar her.
[00:13:59] Eventually, they said, no, it looks like the judge and the court were criminal on this one,
[00:14:04] not Sidney Powell.
[00:14:05] That's what came out way after the fact.
[00:14:07] But that makes your point, right?
[00:14:08] It does make my point.
[00:14:10] And anybody that was able to watch the California bar proceedings, I mean, it has been described
[00:14:17] in the newspapers by reporters that watched the thing from cover to cover as a kangaroo court.
[00:14:26] You know, they introduced doctored evidence.
[00:14:30] One of the allegations against me is that when I said that dead people voted, that I knew
[00:14:36] that was false because it had been determined by the Michigan Inspector General that only
[00:14:40] 1,500 dead people voted.
[00:14:41] I said, so you just admitted that what I said was true.
[00:14:45] So this is the kind of stuff we were dealing with and continue to deal with.
[00:14:48] And this group out of Hollywood, the Madison Media Group, thought it was an important enough
[00:14:54] story that people needed to see what was going on to awaken to it and to help do something
[00:15:00] about it.
[00:15:01] And so it's called the Eastman Dilemma Lawfare or Justice.
[00:15:07] And I take that to mean, are you going to submit to the lawfare and keep quiet about it?
[00:15:12] Or are you going to join with Eastman and others and fight against this injustice so that justice
[00:15:16] ultimately prevails?
[00:15:18] The premier is oddly going to be down at Mar-a-Lago in Florida on January 4th.
[00:15:24] And then it opens for public release on January 6th, I think, on Amazon Prime, but also for
[00:15:30] live streaming on the Madison Media Group's website.
[00:15:36] And I need to get an invite to Mar-a-Lago so I can go see that.
[00:15:40] Yeah, you go to the website, eastmandilemma.com.
[00:15:45] I think if you put slash Mar-a-Lago, you'll see the details about the premier.
[00:15:50] All right.
[00:15:51] There you have that, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:15:52] This is incredible.
[00:15:53] And I want to hammer home this point that Mr. John Eastman just made, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:15:59] Look, this is not just his battle.
[00:16:02] I mean, it's called the Eastman Dilemma, singular, because it highlights the dilemma going on.
[00:16:08] It's just that his name, you know, names get put into things.
[00:16:11] We're going to call this the Eastman Dilemma forever, which is lawfare is trying to destroy
[00:16:15] this country.
[00:16:15] And there's a lot of good attorneys standing up to stop this.
[00:16:19] But unless they're backed by the American people, they're going to get steamrolled.
[00:16:22] Not because they're not good people, not because they don't know the law, but because they're
[00:16:26] literally violating the law at every turn.
[00:16:28] They're thumbing their nose at all things moral and honorable.
[00:16:30] They're thumbing their nose at the way courts are supposed to work.
[00:16:33] They're thumbing their nose at the checks and balances that made this country great.
[00:16:36] This issue is for every one of us, Mr. Eastman.
[00:16:41] Well, it is.
[00:16:42] But think about, you know, the head of the 65 project or one of the heads of it gave an
[00:16:48] interview in Axios magazine where he actually says our goal is not just to get all these
[00:16:52] people disbarred, but to make them so toxic in their firms and their communities that lawyers
[00:16:57] won't take on these kind of challenges again.
[00:16:59] Now, that was designed to shut people up, to make them afraid to challenge election illegality
[00:17:08] when they saw it.
[00:17:09] But it's not just elections.
[00:17:10] It's if you stand up at a school board meeting and complain that the school board has voted
[00:17:15] to let boys out swim your daughters in swim meets or in track contests or that men can
[00:17:23] go naked into the girls' showers.
[00:17:25] If you stand up and protest against that and the elite in your community have decided that's
[00:17:30] what you must allow, where are you going to find a lawyer to help represent you when
[00:17:34] they come after you if they've scared lawyers away from taking on these kind of cases?
[00:17:38] Any third rail issue, and the third rails are ever expanding by the progressive left.
[00:17:44] Any third rail issue, they're trying to prevent people from getting attorneys to represent them
[00:17:49] to fight back against this nonsense.
[00:17:51] This is critically important.
[00:17:53] You know, the famous line from Shakespeare's Henry II, the first thing we do is kill all
[00:17:57] the lawyers.
[00:17:58] Most people misunderstand that.
[00:18:00] It's not that lawyers are bad, although I've been dealing with a bunch of them and
[00:18:06] fall into that category.
[00:18:07] It's that lawyers stand in the way of tyranny and government oppression.
[00:18:12] The line is authored, spoken by a character named Dick the Butcher, and he's part of a conspiracy
[00:18:18] to overthrow the king and establish a tyranny.
[00:18:21] And they say the first thing we have to do is kill all the lawyers because they'll get in
[00:18:25] our way of establishing this tyranny.
[00:18:28] And that's absolutely right.
[00:18:29] We need lawyers and we need to push back against these egregious attacks against them for doing
[00:18:37] what we expect of them to do, which is zealously advocate for their clients and for the rule
[00:18:42] of law and justice in this country.
[00:18:45] I want to be very clear.
[00:18:46] Not only does this, you know, cause a problem for the legal profession, create an integrity
[00:18:51] problem for the legal profession, but it also undermines public confidence in the impartiality
[00:18:57] of the courts, creating a chilling effect on legal advocacy, free speech.
[00:19:03] I mean, the list goes on and on.
[00:19:04] And I don't know if you know, Mr. Eastman, but there's a headline.
[00:19:10] The basically, I'm trying to find it really quick right here.
[00:19:13] Basically, the headline says this, there's a poll done about the belief or trust in the
[00:19:22] courts and it's gone to an all time low.
[00:19:25] People don't trust the courts.
[00:19:27] People don't have any confidence in the system at all anymore.
[00:19:31] And they're documenting this in big polls now where nobody trusts it.
[00:19:36] That's the broader problem, right?
[00:19:39] Well, it is a huge problem.
[00:19:41] And you've got judges that view themselves as advocates rather than neutral arbiters of
[00:19:48] the law.
[00:19:49] I'll give you one example from my California bar trial.
[00:19:52] The prosecutors for the state bar put into evidence a doctored quotation and put it in
[00:20:00] their closing argument brief, a doctored quotation from a court decision to make the court decision
[00:20:05] stand for a proposition that the opinion had nothing to do with.
[00:20:08] We pointed that out to the court.
[00:20:11] The court repeated the doctored proposition, the doctored quotation in her opinion, recommending
[00:20:18] my disbarment.
[00:20:19] And nothing, no consequences come from that.
[00:20:22] This is an egregious example.
[00:20:26] And yet we're seeing it more and more.
[00:20:29] One of the justices on the Michigan Supreme Court during the Trump election challenge said,
[00:20:36] I don't want to listen to a word you say because you're just trying to keep your king in power.
[00:20:42] That was a completely inappropriate thing for a judge to say.
[00:20:46] And the fact that a justice of a state Supreme Court would say it.
[00:20:49] And we only know about it because one of the dissenting judges put it in his opinion so that it would be
[00:20:55] documented and memorialized that this is the kind of abuse and and blatant lack of lack of
[00:21:07] nonpartisan, you know, the need for nonpartisan neutral arbiters.
[00:21:11] And and yet we're seeing that way too frequently.
[00:21:18] Eldon, you want to chime in?
[00:21:22] Well, we are seeing that.
[00:21:24] And that's it's good.
[00:21:25] It's really good to point those things out.
[00:21:28] I'm glad to see that because people just just need to be aware of this, don't they?
[00:21:34] They do.
[00:21:37] You know, Sonny Willis now disqualified in Georgia from the prosecution there.
[00:21:42] She had previously been disqualified from the prosecution of one of my alleged co-conspirators,
[00:21:49] then state senator Burt Jones, who's now the lieutenant governor.
[00:21:52] He was running for lieutenant governor while that investigation was underway.
[00:21:56] And she headlined a fundraiser for his opponent at the very same time she was investigating him for for possible prosecution.
[00:22:07] The court disqualified her and it went to the prosecuting attorney's counsel and the executive director there said,
[00:22:14] we're not going to appoint another prosecutor because there's no crime here.
[00:22:18] And yet now I've been suffering for over a year and a quarter now of dealing with that litigation on exactly the same facts and exactly the same alleged conspiracy that he was already found not to have committed any crime.
[00:22:32] And now that she's been disqualified, one hopes we get the same result from the prosecuting attorney's counsel there.
[00:22:39] But and then over in Arizona, where I'm also an indicted co-conspirator.
[00:22:45] At the very time, the judge in that case was hearing my motion to dismiss on the ground that this prosecution was an abuse of my First Amendment rights.
[00:22:55] And the evidence we had marshaled on the First Amendment bias by the attorney general and her chief deputy included things like comparing Trump and his supporters to Hitler and Nazis.
[00:23:07] At the very moment that hearing was going on, that same judge was emailing his colleagues on the court using a Nazi comparison and urging them to speak out against Trump and in favor of Kamala Harris.
[00:23:21] Now, he had to recuse himself when that came to light as well.
[00:23:25] Yeah, but he ought to be prosecuted for this.
[00:23:28] Right.
[00:23:28] He should be prosecuted.
[00:23:30] He, you know, this is the kind of stuff we cannot tolerate in our judiciary if we're ever going to free an independent and neutral judiciary assessing the law and providing equal justice under law to everybody in the country.
[00:23:46] Do you think we're going to get ahead of this, Mr. Eastman?
[00:23:49] I mean, it just seems so dire.
[00:23:51] But do you have hope?
[00:23:52] I do have hope.
[00:23:54] I mean, look, the election on November 5th was a major step in the right direction.
[00:23:59] And it allows us to look forward to a future where we're unburdened by the abuses of a recent past, the kind of paraphrase the famous quote from the losing candidate in that election.
[00:24:12] All right, John Eastman, thank you so much for your time, sir.
[00:24:15] We appreciate you and all that you do.
[00:24:18] Hopefully we'll have you back soon.

[00:26:04] The invasive northern giant hornet is also known as the murder hornet for its dangerous sting and its ability to slaughter a honeybee hive in a matter of hours.
[00:26:14] The Washington State and U.S. Departments of Agriculture announced its eradication Wednesday from U.S. soil.
[00:26:19] That comes five years after the hornet was first spotted near the Canadian border in that northwest state.
[00:26:26] Officials said there's been no new detections of the hornet in Washington since 2021 and called that a major success.

[00:31:03] John Eastman doing a phenomenal job.
[00:31:05] Look, it's been a chilling effect on legal advocacy.
[00:31:09] And the film calls for equal treatment.
[00:31:12] Yeah.
[00:31:13] Under the law, regardless of affiliation.
[00:31:15] Okay.
[00:31:16] Public confidence in the legal system has plummeted.
[00:31:18] And we've got to do something significant about this.
[00:31:22] I want to highlight, too, John mentioned this, but I want to highlight it because I want to make sure people are aware.
[00:31:28] Georgia appeals court disqualifies Fannie Willis.
[00:31:32] That's huge news because we've been waiting for that.
[00:31:36] I don't know what's taking the judge so long.
[00:31:38] Now, John's right.
[00:31:39] She's going to have to appeal if she wants to go ahead and take it to the next level.
[00:31:43] I don't know if she'll do that because the scrutiny is on her now and discovery will be brutal.
[00:31:49] So that's kind of interesting.
[00:31:52] We'll see what happens with that.
[00:31:55] I just don't know how to really respond to all of it except for I want truth in the courts.
[00:32:02] I want honor and integrity in the courts, and nobody has trust in them anymore.
[00:32:05] We talked about that yesterday with James Edwards also.
[00:32:10] Now, the headline says, and I want to get Eldon Stahl's take on this,
[00:32:14] Senate Democrats are moving to try to abolish the Electoral College.
[00:32:20] After their parties suffered serious defeats, they want to move just to a popular vote.
[00:32:26] Do you want to respond to this one, Eldon?
[00:32:31] Yeah, I'm not going to surprise you here.
[00:32:34] I think that would be a terrible idea.
[00:32:36] I agree with Senator Mike Lee that we need to keep the Electoral College.
[00:32:41] Unfortunately, many people do not understand it, do not appreciate it,
[00:32:48] do not even understand the concept of federalism or what a republic is versus a democracy,
[00:32:55] as the founders of our country understood it and why they pushed so vehemently against the idea of democracy.
[00:33:06] So we've gotten to the point in our country where people are so disconnected with those ideas
[00:33:11] that they start to think that the Electoral College is something that is somehow unjust
[00:33:19] or whatever label they want to put it.
[00:33:25] I always want to recommend a little video.
[00:33:27] This one's only seven minutes.
[00:33:29] It's just called Why the Electoral College.
[00:33:31] Now, there's a lot of them on YouTube, so you're going to have to look for the one put out by the John Burr Society,
[00:33:36] a little animated one, which is called Why the Electoral College.
[00:33:41] Great, you know, refresher to learn yourself and share with your friends.
[00:33:46] Help people understand a little bit.
[00:33:48] They can go watch the video, and we highly recommend it.
[00:33:50] But help people understand.
[00:33:51] To me, it has to do with the relationship between huge states and tiny states.
[00:33:55] And how do you deal with, you know, the populations?
[00:33:59] I mean, otherwise, hey, California, New York, Florida, Texas, they'd control the whole thing if we're not very careful.
[00:34:05] And so how do you give the small states kind of a seat at the table?
[00:34:09] How do you balance all that?
[00:34:10] And the whole Constitution that we have is so replete with checks and balances.
[00:34:14] The more you study, the more you become in awe of the incredible way they've managed to just say, hey, let's check this with this.
[00:34:21] Let's balance that with that.
[00:34:23] Let's give this.
[00:34:23] Let's do that.
[00:34:24] And the Electoral College really is the key to the exercise to say, hey, how do we have fair seats at the table?
[00:34:30] Now, I know that's my summary, but why don't you take it from there, Eldon, and kind of highlight this reality or importance?
[00:34:36] Yeah.
[00:34:36] I mean, one basic concept to understand when you understand what the United States of America is, is that our country was formed with the idea that we wanted to be against any form, any form of tyranny.
[00:34:54] That includes the tyranny of the majority of a democracy.
[00:34:58] It includes the tyranny of a king, of a monarchy.
[00:35:02] It includes the tyranny of a few and an oligarchy.
[00:35:06] All of those things are forms of tyranny, unchecked, unaccountable power, ruled by just a whim.
[00:35:17] Okay.
[00:35:18] So having the Electoral College prevents the tyranny of the majority.
[00:35:29] It puts a roadblock against that.
[00:35:31] Of course, nothing can totally prevent anything.
[00:35:34] But if we would not have the Electoral College, the process of choosing the president would be dominated greatly by the population centers of the United States.
[00:35:47] Now, you might say, well, that's great.
[00:35:49] We've been taught at our schools that one man, one vote, and that's all democratic and all that.
[00:35:54] But no, the idea of voting does not mean that you have the tyranny of the majority, that the majority can decide whatever they want.
[00:36:06] Take your house, take your kids, whatever.
[00:36:08] Yeah, that's flat-out democracy unbridled, right?
[00:36:11] Yes, there must be limits.
[00:36:13] And, of course, this is why Marx in the Communist Manifesto said the first step in establishing communism is to win the battle for democracy.
[00:36:24] That was an intermediate step to establishing the dictatorship of the proletariat, the dictatorship of the majority, the working class.
[00:36:34] So, no, democracy is not what we want.
[00:36:39] We don't want a tyranny of the majority.
[00:36:42] We want a limited, properly limited government, which protects the rights of all, not just a certain group.
[00:36:51] And so, let's say we were to go to a national popular vote in choosing the president.
[00:36:57] Well, the interests of those in urban areas tend to be different than those in rural areas.
[00:37:04] And so, I'll give you an example of democracy working in Colorado.
[00:37:12] They had a statewide vote.
[00:37:14] Should we reintroduce wolves into Colorado?
[00:37:18] Well, who do you think is going to take the brunt of the effect of such a change in policy?
[00:37:25] Is it going to be the urban voters who vote on that in Denver area?
[00:37:28] Or is it going to be the rural voters who have large plots of land that they need to manage for cattle and livestock and all that?
[00:37:39] Well, it's pretty obvious.
[00:37:41] But who's going to, in a democracy in Colorado, by popular vote, who's going to get the bulk of the decision-making power on that?
[00:37:51] So, you can see that there must be some limit to the ability of the majority to have ultimate rule over the minority, shouldn't there?
[00:38:06] Everybody's rights should be protected.
[00:38:08] The same thing would happen with a national popular vote for president.
[00:38:14] The interests of the rural areas would be run over roughshod by those in the cities.
[00:38:24] And, of course, it's understandable why the Democrats are pushing for national popular vote, because, of course, the major cities are dominated by Democrats, right?
[00:38:34] And the illegals, because they're sanctuary cities as well.
[00:38:37] Yes, of course.
[00:38:38] And they're going to allow them to vote.
[00:38:40] And, of course, there would be much greater incentive for fraud right now.
[00:38:47] Okay.
[00:38:48] The limits, each state only gets a certain number of electoral votes.
[00:38:53] If you have a bunch of fraud in, let's say, Chicago.
[00:38:56] Okay.
[00:38:56] Well, Chicago, you know, it can only exercise a certain number of electoral votes in the state of Illinois, right?
[00:39:06] That they only have X number of electoral votes.
[00:39:10] So it doesn't change the election so much.
[00:39:15] You'd have to get various states to have that fraud in their big cities to do, like, in 2020.
[00:39:23] So it puts roadblocks against fraud.
[00:39:27] If you have a national popular vote, then, you know, one big city even can just say, hey, we found a truckload of ballots, and we're going to count those two.
[00:39:37] And that affects everybody rather than just that state and how many votes are cast.
[00:39:44] Plus, you would have to have a national commission to determine what exactly is the national popular vote.
[00:39:51] So then you would have more federal takeover of state-run elections.
[00:39:56] So do you see how this serves the interests of certain people rather than the average person?
[00:40:06] All right.
[00:40:07] Speaking of Chicago, you mentioned Chicago, and it's interesting that you picked that because we've tied this illegal activity of voting to illegals and everything else.
[00:40:16] Headline says Tom Holman decides to pick Chicago.
[00:40:22] It says this.
[00:40:23] Borders are Tom Holman vows to pick Chicago first with his mass deportation.

[00:43:21] I'm Eldon Stahl with my good friend Sam Bushman, and we're talking about there's a new headline,
[00:43:31] a new report that Tom Holman, who is going to be kind of the border's R, it looks like,
[00:43:37] under the new Trump administration, and he's saying that once Trump gets in office,
[00:43:42] he's going to start with deportations in Chicago.
[00:43:46] He says, now these are his words, not my words, but he says,

[00:43:57] Although we didn't say it, but I agree with him, though.
[00:44:00] I totally agree with him.
[00:44:05] Well, there's certainly a lot of improvement that could happen in Illinois.
[00:44:11] Illinois has had problems since for many, many years.
[00:44:19] But it's interesting that he's starting with Chicago with deportation.
[00:44:24] That's his intention.
[00:44:27] I'm not sure exactly why, but he wants to put a priority on there.
[00:44:33] And then he says, hey, if your governor doesn't want to help, if your mayor doesn't want to help,
[00:44:39] he can step aside.
[00:44:40] If he impedes us, this is another quote here, but if he impedes us,
[00:44:44] if he knowingly harbors or conceals an illegal alien, I will prosecute him.
[00:44:51] Interesting, huh?
[00:44:53] Sometimes I wonder if this would set maybe a bad precedent in a way,
[00:44:58] but it almost needs to be done with some of these people as well.
[00:45:03] What do you think about that, Sam?
[00:45:06] I think that we need to absolutely create accountability, transparency.
[00:45:12] I think we need to all work together.
[00:45:15] And they want to divide us.
[00:45:16] They want to get us all sideways on this thing.
[00:45:17] We can come up with appropriate plans.
[00:45:19] I mean, I get Tom Holman's harsh rhetoric.
[00:45:21] I get Trump's harsh rhetoric.
[00:45:23] I support them in 100% because they're right.
[00:45:25] At the same time, there needs to be a justice and a mercy plan.
[00:45:28] And I put out a video about this, too.
[00:45:29] There's got to be a way forward.
[00:45:31] You know, the guy that's a hard and murderous criminal or, you know,
[00:45:33] some of these people, rapists and this kind of stuff,
[00:45:36] they're not the same as somebody who got brought here as a little kid,
[00:45:38] and that's all they know is America, even though they shouldn't necessarily be here.
[00:45:42] We can't treat all those things the same.
[00:45:44] And so I think we've got to work in this administration towards a lot of things,
[00:45:47] whether it be financial and everything else.
[00:45:49] We've got to kind of bring the idea that it isn't about left and right.
[00:45:53] It isn't about anything but the proper role of limited government,
[00:45:58] about reining in spending, about, you know,
[00:46:00] these fundamental principles everybody really should agree with.
[00:46:03] And I think if we could get rid of the dividers amongst us and stand together
[00:46:07] and just shame down all the dividers and say, look,
[00:46:10] I think we could make a real progress here.
[00:46:14] Yeah, and, you know, kind of on the other side of this, you know,
[00:46:18] instead of the precedent for bad, there could be, you know, in a way a precedent for good here
[00:46:24] because we could, if some of the states start seeing the federal government
[00:46:31] prosecuting state officials for breaking the law, you know, violating the law,
[00:46:39] maybe the state officials will start standing up to the federal officials for breaking the law,
[00:46:44] so for having blatant violations of, say, the U.S. Constitution and things like that.
[00:46:51] And so, you know, it can go both ways, but people do need to be held accountable wherever they are,
[00:46:57] don't they?
[00:46:59] Amen to that, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:47:01] That's for sure.
[00:47:02] We've really got to hold people to account.
[00:47:04] I think Tom Holman's statements really kicked that off in the right way.
[00:47:08] Speaking of doing things right, this Argentinian or Argentinian, Argentine president?
[00:47:13] I don't know.
[00:47:14] Argentine.
[00:47:14] Javier Milley confirmed on Tuesday that he's going to go ahead and come to the inauguration of Donald Trump.
[00:47:20] Now, this is the guy that turned his country around.
[00:47:22] He says he's going to cut taxes 90%.
[00:47:24] I pray for his success, but it's something to behold.
[00:47:27] And, you know, hey, let's, I don't know what you want to say.
[00:47:32] Take all we can get here.
[00:47:34] It's pretty neat that he's going to be attending, in my opinion.
[00:47:37] Yes.
[00:47:38] From what I've read, this is the first time that a head of state has attended an inauguration.
[00:47:43] Usually they just send ambassadors and such.
[00:47:46] But Milley has been quite close to Trump.
[00:47:50] I actually spent a couple of years as a missionary down in Buenos Aires area.
[00:47:55] And at the time, I felt that, well, what had happened to Argentina?
[00:48:00] And then I found out that, well, basically it started with the Perones, maybe a little before.
[00:48:05] You know, if you've seen Evita, that musical, well, that makes Evita and the Perones look so wonderful.
[00:48:13] They weren't exactly, they basically ushered in socialism into Argentina.
[00:48:19] They never recovered really since then.
[00:48:22] And Malay is offering some hope of just, you know, we've got to roll back decades and decades of big government from Argentina.
[00:48:34] And this, Argentina is very similar to the United States.
[00:48:37] It could happen in the United States as well.
[00:48:40] It's very much a warning sign.
[00:48:43] People used to go down to Argentina all the time for vacations.
[00:48:48] It's not so much anymore, understandably.
[00:48:53] It would be good to.
[00:48:54] Well, maybe that will be the future if this guy really gets it done.
[00:48:58] And again, the jury is still out, but we'll keep an eye on it.
[00:49:01] We can sure pray for it.
[00:49:02] That's for sure.
[00:49:03] All right.
[00:49:04] Final story before the end of the hour.
[00:49:05] Matt Gaetz gets ahead of ethics report release with admission about his, quote, single days.
[00:49:13] Joseph McKinnon with the piece on this one.
[00:49:16] And unnamed sources told CNN and confirmed to the Post or The Hill this week, I guess, that they released the report on Gaetz.
[00:49:23] Gaetz, quote, I probably partied, womanized, and drank and smoked more than I should have earlier in life.
[00:49:32] But then he basically says, hey, these people are all clowns.
[00:49:35] They're all not credible.
[00:49:36] The fact is they found me guilty of nothing.
[00:49:40] And their ultimate decision to release the report is nothing but an effort to just besmirch his character.
[00:49:46] And he basically said, I'm not that same guy.
[00:49:50] In my single days, I haven't sent funds to women that I dated.
[00:49:55] Some of them I was involved in.
[00:49:57] Some of them I was not.
[00:49:58] In my 30s, I worked very hard.
[00:49:59] I partied very hard.
[00:50:01] Shouldn't have done it.
[00:50:03] Anyway, we go on and on with the thing.
[00:50:07] And they say the report will probably be made public later this week.
[00:50:12] What's your take on this?
[00:50:13] Then I'll give you my take.
[00:50:16] I don't see the use in making it public other than trying to shame him publicly.
[00:50:21] If that's their point, then, of course, it may be successful in that.
[00:50:27] But, you know, these are things unless he actually committed a crime of some sort.
[00:50:36] He didn't.
[00:50:37] They've already proven that.
[00:50:38] So that's why we say this is embarrassing but not crimes.
[00:50:40] Right.
[00:50:41] I have a problem with this, and I'll tell you why.
[00:50:43] I'm not defending Gates' party days.
[00:50:45] I'm not defending what he did with women or anything else.
[00:50:48] However, I will say this, though.
[00:50:50] I believe in change and repentance, Eldon.
[00:50:54] Sure.
[00:50:56] Yeah.
[00:50:57] Yeah.
[00:50:58] I do, too.
[00:50:59] It's – I mean, everybody sins, makes mistakes, some bigger than others.
[00:51:09] But I don't see the point in airing dirty laundry when some – especially when somebody hasn't – you know, they've turned their life around.
[00:51:19] So –
[00:51:20] So all I'm saying is this.
[00:51:24] I believe Matt deserves some grace here.
[00:51:30] And I – what's interesting to me is if it's a Hillary Clinton or a Bill Clinton or some of these clowns, they're always given the grace.
[00:51:37] If it's a Kamala Harris, we always sweep this stuff under the rug for them.
[00:51:42] So, you know, we've either got to sweep it under the rug for everybody or why don't we come back and say, listen, what you did was wrong.
[00:51:47] You need to account to it.
[00:51:48] You need to admit to it.
[00:51:49] You don't need to play games here.
[00:51:50] At the same time, we do believe in change.
[00:51:53] We do believe in repentance.
[00:51:54] We do believe in – you know what?
[00:51:56] God can do this stuff.
[00:51:58] And I'm going to defend both sides of the aisle in this.
[00:52:02] If they've really changed, the question is have they really changed?
[00:52:05] And the fact that they don't have any crimes on Matt Gaetz tells me that he's probably changed.
[00:52:10] Otherwise, crimes would be surfacing.
[00:52:12] Whereas some of the Hillary Clintons of the world, hey, the more you dig, the more the crimes come forward, right?
[00:52:17] The more they dug on Matt Gaetz, the less crimes they find.
[00:52:20] They just find that, oh, he was a bad guy and he did some bad stuff.
[00:52:23] He admits it, says he was wrong.
[00:52:25] What more do you want?
[00:52:27] I'm defending Matt Gaetz.
[00:52:29] Not because I'm so much defending Matt, but I'm defending this principle, Eldon.
[00:52:34] It seems like – I was a little surprised that this was going to be released in a way because a lot of these people in Congress and outside of Congress,
[00:52:42] they have much worse sins that could be aired in their past or during.
[00:52:49] They're serving in Congress and they're involved in some stuff they shouldn't be at all.
[00:52:55] So, well, okay, if we're going to air stuff for Matt Gaetz, we can air stuff for people serving in Congress.
[00:53:03] There's some other lawyers that are probably subject to blackmail or some kind of things like that.
[00:53:10] So this could open up maybe for good or ill, more of that type of thing going on.
[00:53:19] It kind of depends who's in power.
[00:53:24] Anyway, and I know they're just going to say, well, Sam, you're defending this because it's a conservative and you'll always defend conservatives.
[00:53:31] No, that's not true.
[00:53:32] I'll celebrate repentance and change for anybody.
[00:53:35] The only question is, is the change genuine?
[00:53:37] In a Matt Gaetz case, I believe that it is.
[00:53:39] I believe he's not the same guy he was.
[00:53:41] Did he make mistakes?
[00:53:42] Absolutely.
[00:53:43] And he's admitted to those mistakes.
[00:53:45] But do we have a crime here?
[00:53:46] No, we don't.
[00:53:46] So what's the reason to release this and exploit this?
[00:53:49] If there's no crime, what's the reason?
[00:53:53] I think people just really don't like Matt Gaetz.
[00:53:58] You know, and I can understand why he's a very scrappy kind of guy and he's done some things that a lot of people are frustrated with.
[00:54:04] At the same time, he's done a lot of good.
[00:54:06] Let's be very fair and clear.
[00:54:08] Yeah, but he's the type of person that's not willing to bow down to these people.
[00:54:12] He's kind of like Trump.
[00:54:13] He's a fighter.
[00:54:14] So they don't like it.
[00:54:15] Well, and I commend him for that.
[00:54:17] And that's why, hey, let's focus on grace, people.
[00:54:21] I believe in the power of the principle of change and repentance.
[00:54:24] That's all I'm saying.
[00:54:26] All right, there you go.
[00:54:27] Two hours in the can.
[00:54:27] Thank you so much.
[00:54:28] Eldenstall, JBS.org, thenewamerican.com.
[00:54:31] We appreciate you and a Merry Christmas to you and your family.
[00:54:34] Yeah, Merry Christmas, Sam.

[00:54:38] Spread the word.
[00:54:39] Share the love.
[00:54:39] Merry Christmas to all of you.
[00:54:41] And God save the Republic of the United States of America.
[00:54:45] Joseph Brasile für jedes Mars.
[00:54:45] We新 tro semanas at a woman's mission.
[00:54:45] Can you please put your life on에?
[00:54:45] Maybe oil is gonna be here at her when you decide to pay attention to day, or child.
