[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West.

[00:00:18] You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show.

[00:00:22] Merry Christmas to you from us, the Liberty Roundtable hard-hitting news that we're confused to use team.

[00:01:12] This is the broadcast for December the 16th in the year of our Lord, 2024, Hour 2 at 2.

[00:01:19] Dr. Scott Bradley's with me, freedomsrisingsun.com.

[00:01:22] And we are having a fantastic Christmas holiday season.

[00:01:25] Hope you are as well.

[00:01:27] Remember the reason for the season, to promote Christ, please.

[00:01:32] All right.

[00:01:32] There's so much going on here.

[00:01:34] We'll try to get our guest here in a minute.

[00:01:39] But the U.S. court denied TikTok's request to freeze the law requiring them to sell.

[00:01:46] I don't think the government has authority to do any of this at all.

[00:01:49] Donald Trump is saying he'd back away from it.

[00:01:51] The problem is, I guess this is supposed to take effect the day before Donald, you know, takes the helm.

[00:01:56] So that's kind of an interesting twist.

[00:01:59] Meanwhile, the headline says,

[00:02:01] AI Helps Telegram removed 15 million suspect groups and channels in 2024.

[00:02:12] Charles Roeck, techcrunch.com with this piece.

[00:02:17] And I find this so fascinating.

[00:02:20] You know, you always hear this great numbers.

[00:02:22] How many people are following you on TikTok or on Instagram or on, you know, Facebook or on whatever, Telegram?

[00:02:31] And I find this interesting.

[00:02:32] AI Helps Telegram remove 15 million.

[00:02:36] And so whatever your numbers were, I bet that 15 million affected your numbers.

[00:02:40] And so how many of your numbers are fake versus real?

[00:02:43] I've told people this for years.

[00:02:44] And they just think, Sam, you don't have the technical background to understand this.

[00:02:47] Of course, they can monitor how many listens you have or views you have or, you know, followers you have.

[00:02:52] Of course, that number is easy to get.

[00:02:54] Don't you understand the tech world?

[00:02:55] No, I understand the tech world all too well.

[00:02:57] And that's why I'm telling you that it's bogus.

[00:02:59] I mean, if you have Telegram and they literally let go of 15 million accounts, groups, whatever.

[00:03:04] What is a group?

[00:03:05] A group is a bunch of people.

[00:03:06] So if you get rid of a group, you're getting rid of 15 million and then groups we're talking about.

[00:03:11] I mean, how many how much of that is their user base is the real question.

[00:03:15] It's just insanity.

[00:03:17] Dr. Bradley, I find that fascinating.

[00:03:20] Meanwhile, OpenAI founder Sam Altman donating a million dollars to Trump's inauguration fund.

[00:03:28] Joining other tech leaders.

[00:03:31] Amazon, Jeff Bezos and crew donating a million dollars to Trump's inauguration fund.

[00:03:37] Jeff Bezos is expected to head down to Mar-a-Lago here in the next couple of days.

[00:03:43] Tim Cook, Apple CEO, visits Mar-a-Lago, joins a list of big tech techs.

[00:03:50] Do you want to respond to this, Dr. Bradley?

[00:03:54] I don't know.

[00:03:55] Tech seems to take a big footprint out of anything that's happening in the world today.

[00:04:00] And I'm I'm not so sure that.

[00:04:03] You know, you talk about last hour we talked about the involvement of technology and the Chinese getting in and everything.

[00:04:11] Well, we talked about the U.S. government and its, you know, intrusion into our technology lives.

[00:04:18] But but you look at these so-called private entities, which really got their start generally with with government funding.

[00:04:25] But but you look at Yahoo or or TikTok.

[00:04:29] Well, that's a Chinese one or Facebook or, you know, any of these big tech stuff things that are going on.

[00:04:36] And they sure seem to have a pretty big ability.

[00:04:39] Put a boot on your throat whenever they decide to do it.

[00:04:43] I guess I'm just kind of very vexed and concerned about how they seem to be kind of able to direct and control and actually filter anything that comes to us.

[00:04:58] And, you know, again, in the past, it was newspapers.

[00:05:01] It was CBS, NBC, ABC back in the 60s.

[00:05:05] That's the way it is.

[00:05:06] So said Walter Cronkite.

[00:05:08] But my heavens, nowadays, it's it's just it seems like it's the elephant in the room that that seems to control things while we're just going on our daily lives.

[00:05:20] I don't know.

[00:05:21] It's it's it's a big concern.

[00:05:24] It's a big concern.

[00:05:25] And that's why I kind of asked our guest last hour, Andrew Thornbrook, you know, are we going to have big tech kind of be the de facto fourth branch of government?

[00:05:35] I mean, everything we do relates to it.

[00:05:37] They control what you say, what you hear, what you believe, what you think.

[00:05:40] Every one of your communications is monitored, whether it's intentional or unintentional.

[00:05:44] It doesn't matter.

[00:05:44] The fact is, you know, and all the decisions of what news you get and who can participate and who can speak and who can't and who can all this literally controlled by the government in bed with big tech.

[00:05:55] And now you have I mean, I can't sit down with Donald Trump if my life depends on it.

[00:06:00] I'd like to sit down with him from the leadership of the Constitutional Sheriff's and Peace Officers Association point of view and say, look, we can partner with you on this immigration issue.

[00:06:09] You know what?

[00:06:09] I want to support the mass deportation in history.

[00:06:12] But at the same time, we've got to have a plan that tempers justice with mercy here.

[00:06:16] We've got to work together.

[00:06:17] The sheriffs need to be in great leadership roles in this.

[00:06:20] We don't want to use the military embedded with the people fine on the border.

[00:06:24] I get it.

[00:06:25] But there's got to be kind of a balanced, appropriate plan.

[00:06:28] I'd like to be part of the development of that plan.

[00:06:30] I'd like to see a plan before we just start babbling at the mouth and putting everybody in fear.

[00:06:34] There needs to be.

[00:06:35] But I can't sit down with President Trump on that at all.

[00:06:38] Even though I'm like minded with him, I support his plan 100 percent.

[00:06:41] And now you've got literally Mark Zuckerberg putting 100 or a million dollars in.

[00:06:47] You've got Mark Zuckerberg sitting down at Mar-a-Lago.

[00:06:49] You've got, you know, Mika and Joe, Morning Joe sitting down with, you know, Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

[00:06:58] You've got Apple CEO Cook sitting down.

[00:07:02] You've got Amazon and Jeff Bezos sitting down.

[00:07:04] You've got Sam Altman sitting down.

[00:07:07] I mean, you've got all these people.

[00:07:09] And I just kind of go, what on earth is happening?

[00:07:12] Those are the people that are getting Trump's ear is the point, doctor.

[00:07:17] You know, we've talked and this may seem like a big leap from where you are right now because it seems almost hopeless with big tech.

[00:07:26] But, you know, last was the summer beginning of the summer in Tennessee.

[00:07:32] The Tennessee legislature passed a resolution for 31 days of fasting and prayer.

[00:07:39] Okay, now this seems like, okay, what the heck is this about?

[00:07:41] No, it's completely relevant in my opinion.

[00:07:44] We've talked about this.

[00:07:45] Washington and the United States Congress, what they did in 1789 and that proclamation of Thanksgiving and prayer.

[00:07:54] And here back in the summer, you know, so we're six months into this thing.

[00:07:59] They did a proclamation for 31 days of fasting and prayer.

[00:08:05] And let me just quote just a little bit.

[00:08:08] I mean, I don't want to distract from everything else we've got going, but here's the legislature.

[00:08:14] Now, why didn't Utah do this?

[00:08:16] I mean, what the heck is Utah sitting on their butts on?

[00:08:19] It says, okay, we as public servants of the Tennessee General Assembly seek God's mercy upon our land and beseech him to not withdraw his hand of blessing from us.

[00:08:29] We recognize our sins and shortcomings before him and humbly ask his forgiveness.

[00:08:35] We ask the Lord Jesus to heal our land and remove the violence, human trafficking, addiction, and corruption.

[00:08:41] We ask that the Holy Spirit fill our halls of government, our classrooms, our places of business, our churches, and our homes with peace, love, and joy.

[00:08:51] And it goes on to, you know, go back and talk about one that John Adams put out in 1799.

[00:08:58] This was a standard operating procedure back in the beginning days of this nation.

[00:09:04] And, by the way, this joint resolution, it was 803, House Joint Resolution 803, passed in the House, 82-6, in the Senate, 27-1.

[00:09:19] Okay, so here we have one state anyway, and I have to restate my question.

[00:09:26] You and I live in Utah.

[00:09:27] What the heck was the Utah state government sitting on their hands when they could have taken something like this and refocused the people?

[00:09:38] Trump could do something like this.

[00:09:40] You know, when he takes office, if he didn't and he doesn't and he won't, I don't know quite how to put it.

[00:09:47] But you look at Washington's inaugural address when he first was put in, April 30, 1789.

[00:09:55] He got up and gave an absolute commitment to God in heaven and how he would administer his time in office.

[00:10:06] I think Trump, if he would turn his heart that way, if the people of this nation could begin again to turn their hearts that way,

[00:10:14] I think that there's some hope.

[00:10:17] But if we keep looking to these huge, megalithic kind of big tech companies, multi, multi, multi-billionaires running things,

[00:10:28] and they get the ear of the president, and these are the people that are kind of setting our tone and our stage and our direction,

[00:10:36] and we need a more humble approach to the way we're going to be a nation.

[00:10:41] Like, Tennessee calls for 31 days of prayer and fasting, June 26, 2024, lc.org.

[00:10:52] Our buddies, Matthew Staver and crew over there at Liberty Council has this piece along with a bunch of other news organizations.

[00:10:58] So Dr. Bradley is pointing this out saying, look, why don't we do that right now?

[00:11:02] We're literally closing in on a meltdown with the budget.

[00:11:05] Come Friday, government will shut down unless they just spend us into oblivion.

[00:11:09] We've got a lame duck Congress where blatantly it's being publicized everywhere that Joe Biden is thumbing his nose at the proper role of limited government.

[00:11:19] He's trying to basically tie Trump's hands and manipulate the next.

[00:11:23] You know, on one hand, they talk about, oh, well, we support the peaceful transfer of power.

[00:11:26] Trump didn't.

[00:11:27] But yet now they're supporting the peaceful transfer of power, but yet manipulating power to tie Trump's hands.

[00:11:32] How's that, the peaceful transfer of power?

[00:11:34] See, they're playing games here, folks.

[00:11:36] And right now we're on the brink of war with foreign nations.

[00:11:39] We're being hacked internally.

[00:11:42] The inflation is out of control.

[00:11:44] All these things are affecting America.

[00:11:46] And it looks dismal, as Dr. Bradley pointed out.

[00:11:48] But you know what?

[00:11:49] What if we turn to God in sincere prayer?

[00:11:52] What if we follow the lead of Tennessee?

[00:11:54] Where was our state?

[00:11:55] What have we got to do to really push for this idea?

[00:11:59] It's a tremendous idea.

[00:12:00] And don't you dare ever underestimate the power of prayer.

[00:12:03] And you can say, well, Sam, it's not even related.

[00:12:05] We're dealing with some serious stuff here.

[00:12:07] Why don't we fix that stuff?

[00:12:08] And then we can talk about prayer.

[00:12:09] No, no, no, no.

[00:12:10] That's why you need the Constitution.

[00:12:11] It's built for crisis time, not for set aside and then go back to in peacetime.

[00:12:16] The Constitution is built for crisis time.

[00:12:20] So is the power of prayer.

[00:12:21] So is turning to Almighty God, asking the author of our liberty and the founder of our peace.

[00:12:28] You know what?

[00:12:29] That's where we need to turn.

[00:12:30] And, Doctor, if we can get this done.

[00:12:32] So I don't think it's off base at all.

[00:12:33] In fact, I think it directly correlates to what we the people can do.

[00:12:37] I can't even sit down with Trump.

[00:12:39] I can't get my Congress to listen to me come Friday and shut down government and, you know, follow my plan.

[00:12:45] I can get on my knees to Almighty God and petition the Supreme Creator, the one who's promised me biblically that if I turn to him and repent, he'll protect me and heal my land.

[00:12:59] I mean, I don't have anybody else anywhere giving me a promise like that, sir.

[00:13:03] You know, in the crisis times of the beginning of this nation, this is always exactly what we did.

[00:13:09] I mean, whether it was your community, municipality, whatever you call it, a township or a ward or whatever they were, you know, that they had created around the country.

[00:13:20] They turned to them or it was the national government.

[00:13:23] I mean, this was their modus operandi.

[00:13:27] I mean, it's what the pilgrims did before they debarked the Mayflower.

[00:13:31] In the name of God, amen.

[00:13:33] They were making a covenant that they included God in that three-way covenant, if you will, themselves and God.

[00:13:39] And for the furtherance of the Christian faith, that's what they wrote in their document to begin with.

[00:13:45] Well, and you've got to tie this prayer with keeping the Sabbath day holy, too, though.

[00:13:48] If we want to sign with we the people, a covenant with God, that's where it's at.

[00:13:52] See, President Trump could spend his time right now gearing up to taking power on January the 20th after the inauguration.

[00:13:57] He could gear up with this prayer idea.

[00:14:00] He could gear up with this humility before God.

[00:14:02] We're going to, I want to encourage the nation.

[00:14:04] He can't force, but he can lead by example.

[00:14:06] You know what?

[00:14:07] I want to encourage the nation to keep the Sabbath day holy.

[00:14:09] Let's let the Sabbath be a delight.

[00:14:11] Let's be a sign between we the people and God Almighty.

[00:14:14] Okay, he can start with these kind of principles, if he would, doctor.

[00:14:19] Well, if he'll lead with that, I think that a lot of people will follow.

[00:14:23] I mean, you look at, oh, I think it sticks in my mind, Ezekiel 20,

[00:14:26] which talks about it being a sign between God and his people that they were his people if they kept the Sabbath day holy.

[00:14:32] You mentioned that.

[00:14:33] You look at the 2 Chronicles.

[00:14:36] I mean, that's kind of a cliff notes for what happened to ancient Israel.

[00:14:40] In a very brief form, you can read like, holy cow, look at all the garbage that got dumped on these guys when they broke their covenants after ending the promised land.

[00:14:49] And if you go to the very end of 2 Chronicles, you'll find that that is the reason that the people were taken into captivity in Babylon for the 70 years that they would, that they were,

[00:15:01] that the land, the land of Palestine might have its Sabbath days because they had forgotten to obey honor and keep those Sabbath days.

[00:15:15] And that's the problem is that sooner or later there's a comeuppance.

[00:15:19] And you know what?

[00:15:21] There's some, I mean, this is this Tennessee proclamation.

[00:15:24] It kind of made my heart feel good, you know, when I first heard about it.

[00:15:28] It's kind of like, holy cow, this, yeah, this somebody, somebody was thinking back in that Bible Belt area down there.

[00:15:35] And it is a blessed land.

[00:15:37] Tennessee is, I think, because of their focus on godly things.

[00:15:42] Our whole nation could be.

[00:15:43] And we can avoid the problems that ancient Israel experienced.

[00:15:47] Go back and read 2 Chronicles.

[00:15:49] Like I say, a cliff notes about all the challenges they faced.

[00:15:52] And it came right down to it.

[00:15:54] At the end of it, you say, it's because they overlooked keeping the Sabbath day holy.

[00:15:59] That is a sign between God and his chosen people that they are his people.

[00:16:05] And so they had to kind of sit in bondage for 70 years before, you know, Cyrus came along and says, okay, you guys can go home.

[00:16:14] But this seems to be the very last thing on anybody's mind.

[00:16:19] I mean, even, you know, you look at where is this being preached across our pulpits?

[00:16:25] I mean, even in the revolutionary period.

[00:16:29] You've got to wait for Monday and Liberty Roundtable Live, buddy.

[00:16:31] Maybe so.

[00:16:32] But maybe you can get a religious exemption.

[00:16:35] Do you think, Sam, no longer be a white supremacist terrorist on the watch list?

[00:16:40] I don't know.

[00:16:40] So I'm just tongue and cheek.

[00:16:42] No, if my religion was like communism or, you know, whatever you want to say, or my religion was the environment or some of these things, then probably.

[00:16:51] But if my religion is really the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, not a chance.

[00:16:56] Well, that's the problem is our religion isn't that in the United States anymore.

[00:17:01] Our religion is a de facto civil religion.

[00:17:04] It's called secular humanism.

[00:17:06] It's a faith-based belief system that has no God.

[00:17:10] Well, it's the God of the wisdom and learning of man.

[00:17:13] And it's about as unstable as the wisdom and learning of man because that's what it's based on.

[00:17:18] Yeah, it's the figurative tower of Babel religion, really.

[00:17:21] It is.

[00:17:22] And so America has come to the point.

[00:17:26] And by the way, where do we have this?

[00:17:29] Well, it's taught every day in our public education system, so-called.

[00:17:33] It's an indoctrination center.

[00:17:34] I mean, read the humanist manifestos.

[00:17:37] They're really brief.

[00:17:40] 1933, 1973, and 2003.

[00:17:44] They're available online.

[00:17:45] Go read them.

[00:17:47] And in your heart of hearts, recognize that that is the de facto lesson plan of American education system.

[00:17:54] It violates the First Amendment and establishes a tax-supported religious belief system over the entire nation.

[00:18:03] We're talking hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars taken collectively, you know,

[00:18:09] not just what the federal government puts into it, but also what our states and our local municipalities do.

[00:18:15] I mean, probably three-fourths of my property tax, which keep continuing to climb, goes to the education system in my county.

[00:18:26] Okay, so if you take all of the, well, they collect it by the power of the sword.

[00:18:32] I mean, you stop paying your taxes.

[00:18:34] Let's say I don't agree with what that religious imposition on my family is, and I stop paying my property tax.

[00:18:42] Well, give me about three years, and I'll lose my property.

[00:18:45] They'll come with the big hammer and take it away from me.

[00:18:47] And so it is a, it's a, by force of government, we're supporting the religion,

[00:18:54] all in violation of the United States Constitution and the baseline principles of America.

[00:19:00] And so that's what, that's, we've got a religion.

[00:19:04] We've got a national religion, this humanist religion.

[00:19:09] And, oh yeah, different people will say, oh, well, I'm a Christian or I'm a Jew or I'm a Muslim or, you know, whatever.

[00:19:18] And you say that, but it's where our tax money is going right now.

[00:19:23] Like I say, my property tax, three-fourths of it, certainly at least two-thirds of it,

[00:19:29] is going to this faith-based belief system that is supported by the force of government.

[00:19:37] So what Tennessee did, I think, is a good start.

[00:19:41] But I think we need to start realizing that the source of all our blessings, all the goodness in our life comes from God.

[00:19:49] And we are blessed beyond measure.

[00:19:52] We are prosperity, our peace, our freedom.

[00:19:54] The blessing of being able to care for our families and even in a nominal way practice our religion is a wonderful thing.

[00:20:04] Well, and I'm calling on Donald Trump to shock the world, to lead by this example, to lead by this kind of viewpoint, to say, hey, you know what?

[00:20:12] I mean, Donald Trump could bring up this Tennessee example, right?

[00:20:16] He could literally go, hey, man, Tennessee called for 31 days of prayer and fasting.

[00:20:21] I'm calling for the same thing right around Christmas, right into my inauguration.

[00:20:25] You know what?

[00:20:26] We want to pray for my safety.

[00:20:27] We want to pray for the safety of everybody in America.

[00:20:29] We want to, you know, go right on down the list.

[00:20:32] You could start to look if you did it just say January or December the 20th to January the 20th or December the 19th to January the 20th, whatever the 31 days would be.

[00:20:42] I'd have to look based on the calendar.

[00:20:44] But, you know, you could do that right now.

[00:20:47] We've got a window.

[00:20:49] But see, who's even got Trump's ear on this thing?

[00:20:52] He's not the president, but he is absolutely.

[00:20:56] I mean, he's in a kind of a catbird seat.

[00:20:59] He's in a position where he can call some shots, even though he might not have official authority.

[00:21:06] Here's the statement by Thomas Jefferson.

[00:21:08] They think he's a deist.

[00:21:10] Yeah, you've got to get back on your mic, though.

[00:21:11] Okay.

[00:21:12] He's just set it aside a little bit to look at a book.

[00:21:16] I had to look this up real quickly.

[00:21:18] Thomas Jefferson, they consider him a deist.

[00:21:22] And, you know, this guy's a godless guy.

[00:21:25] He's totally false.

[00:21:25] But at any rate, he said,

[00:21:28] And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis,

[00:21:35] a conviction in the minds of the people,

[00:21:38] that these liberties are of the gift of God,

[00:21:42] that they are not to be violated but with his wrath.

[00:21:46] I mean, here's this godless guy, Jefferson.

[00:21:49] Of course, it's a falsehood that they've been saying about him.

[00:21:52] Every night before he went to sleep,

[00:21:54] well, this is again a side trip, but it's fascinating to me,

[00:21:58] that he had created his own book.

[00:22:00] It had the words of Jesus Christ out of the New Testament,

[00:22:02] just the words of Jesus Christ.

[00:22:05] There was no other commentary or anything like that.

[00:22:08] He had them written in the original languages,

[00:22:10] you know, if they're written in Aramaic or Hebrew or Greek, whatever.

[00:22:14] And he read them every night before he retired.

[00:22:16] And his family didn't even know he was doing this

[00:22:18] because it was just a private practice.

[00:22:21] He considered himself a religion of one.

[00:22:24] And so that tells us another thing.

[00:22:26] Religion does not have to have a critical mass.

[00:22:30] If Jefferson considered himself a religion of one

[00:22:33] and he could practice his religion,

[00:22:35] that was the guy that wrote the Virginia Religious Liberties Act

[00:22:39] and had it passed in 1786.

[00:22:41] So here's a guy that read the words of Jesus Christ.

[00:22:45] He felt like, and you can read about this

[00:22:47] if you read the reconciliation letters

[00:22:48] between Jefferson and Adams after their presidencies.

[00:22:52] He wrote about the fact that priestcrafts,

[00:22:58] that's what the term they coined,

[00:23:01] priestcrafts had polluted the pure doctrines of Christ

[00:23:05] and that he gave the peace, the prince of peace.

[00:23:10] We ought to read and understand his words.

[00:23:12] So that's what Jefferson, he took his own advice.

[00:23:15] He studied and pondered these things every night before he retired.

[00:23:19] And that's what this guy came up with.

[00:23:22] You know, of course, there's gobs more we could write about.

[00:23:26] But this idea that the liberties are of the gift of God,

[00:23:32] that they are not to be violated but with his wrath.

[00:23:38] And the Tennessean thing here says,

[00:23:42] we recognize our sins and shortcomings between him

[00:23:45] and humbly ask his forgiveness.

[00:23:47] They asked the Lord Jesus to heal our land

[00:23:49] and remove the violence, human trafficking, addiction.

[00:23:53] They're specific about these things.

[00:23:56] And we today need to, I think, get down and specific

[00:24:01] about what we really are looking for in this land.

[00:24:06] Ladies and gentlemen, it's something that we personally can do.

[00:24:09] What I like about this, we don't need to wait for an act of Congress.

[00:24:12] We don't need to wait for presidential signatures.

[00:24:14] We don't need to wait for a big budget.

[00:24:17] You know, that's what I like about homeschooling and private school.

[00:24:20] That's what I like about this option.

[00:24:22] You know, you can turn to God Almighty.

[00:24:24] Then you can get up and go to work and do your part as his servant.

[00:24:27] It doesn't take anything except for personal commitment,

[00:24:31] a little bit of hard work, roll up your sleeves.

[00:24:33] Let's get her done.

[00:25:59] ABC News has agreed to pay $15 million toward Donald Trump's presidential library.

[00:26:05] That network decision settling a lawsuit over anchor George Stephanopoulos' false claim

[00:26:11] that the president-elect had been found civilly liable for sexual assault.

[00:26:15] In addition to payout for the library, ABC will also have to post a notice of regret on its website

[00:26:21] and has to pay a million dollars for Trump's legal fees.

[00:26:26] That's Jackie Quinn reporting.

[00:26:27] The European Central Bank cutting its interest rates by a quarter point.

[00:26:31] The cut comes amid signs of weakening growth and concern about the impact of political chaos in France

[00:26:36] and the possibility of new U.S. import tariffs.

[00:26:40] The bank's rate-setting committee made the decision to lower the benchmark rate from 3.25% to 3%.

[00:26:46] Lower rates should support growth amid signs that the post-pandemic recovery is slowing

[00:26:51] in the 20 countries that use the euro currency.

[00:30:52] Yeah, but he's visiting Mar-a-Lago.

[00:30:55] Everybody but the people that matter the most, in my humble opinion.

[00:30:58] Donald Trump needs to meet with regular Americans.

[00:31:00] Donald Trump needs to meet with leaders of organizations.

[00:31:03] Okay, but he's meeting with all the wrong people.

[00:31:05] He's meeting with all the big tech leaders.

[00:31:06] Jeff Bezos, Tim Cook.

[00:31:09] These guys are liberal wackos.

[00:31:11] Sam Altman.

[00:31:14] What on earth is going on?

[00:31:17] You know, he meets with Joe and Mika or whatever and these people.

[00:31:21] Why?

[00:31:22] Why?

[00:31:23] Why not meet with people that are leading the Constitutional Sheriff's and Peace Officers Association?

[00:31:27] Why not meet with people that are...

[00:31:31] Oh, for example, why not meet with the Heritage Foundation people?

[00:31:34] Why not meet with Truth of Vote?

[00:31:38] Why not meet with...

[00:31:39] You know, you can have so many groups doing a great job.

[00:31:42] Anyway, there you have that.

[00:31:44] Just saying.

[00:31:46] All right, Mitt Romney.

[00:31:47] I got a bunch of news this half hour here to catch you up on here.

[00:31:51] Mitt Romney predicts that J.D. Vance will be the, quote, 2028 nominee.

[00:31:58] He says MAGA is now the Republican Party.

[00:32:02] USA Today.

[00:32:03] USA Today.com with this piece.

[00:32:05] Very interesting.

[00:32:06] I don't know why they think it's news to listen to Mitt Romney.

[00:32:09] The guy's basically a leaving senator.

[00:32:12] He didn't do very good as a senator.

[00:32:14] He sided with the Democrats all the time.

[00:32:16] No one agreed with most of what he did.

[00:32:17] He kind of became a carpetbagger and came back to Utah and ran for senator and never spent a lot of time in Utah.

[00:32:25] But, you know, paved the way for that by helping with the Olympics and acting like a rock star.

[00:32:30] And then, you know, he got into office by hook and by crook, in my humble opinion, doing the same thing that our current Governor Cox did, kind of.

[00:32:38] Fleecing the caucus system.

[00:32:40] Neither of them would have made it if we would have stuck with the caucus system.

[00:32:43] But both of them had a big money and run around that.

[00:32:45] What a disgrace that was.

[00:32:47] Anyway, I digress.

[00:32:48] But why is the news so on Mitt Romney?

[00:32:51] I mean, the guys that has been the guys that, you know, but I guess he gave a, you know, pretty positive statement to J.D. Vance now.

[00:32:59] But he was critical of Trump and Vance for the longest time.

[00:33:02] It's interesting to me how all these people that are so in your face against Donald Trump.

[00:33:06] The Trump nevers kind of guys.

[00:33:09] Now they're all of a sudden going, hey, Trump's not a bad guy.

[00:33:11] Trump's a pretty good businessman.

[00:33:13] Hey, can I sit down with Donald?

[00:33:14] Hey, can I donate to your inauguration fund?

[00:33:16] Hey, can I?

[00:33:17] What a bunch of clowns.

[00:33:19] I've been very consistent.

[00:33:21] When Trump does great, I praise him.

[00:33:23] When Trump does bad, shame.

[00:33:26] Shame on Donald.

[00:33:27] Don't do that.

[00:33:28] Okay?

[00:33:28] And I'm giving Donald practical solutions based advice on a daily basis of things that he can do.

[00:33:34] And the biggest advice I'm giving him right now, ladies and gentlemen, are encourage them to shut down government.

[00:33:40] Let's get a handle on the budget before Trump takes office.

[00:33:44] Don't let them push it off to Trump and then have Trump be the one with the pig and a poke defending, you know, this kind of stuff.

[00:33:52] Don't do it.

[00:33:53] But they won't listen to me.

[00:33:55] I'm also providing guidance for Donald Trump to say follow Tennessee's lead.

[00:33:59] Dr. Bradley brought this up wisely, and he's right.

[00:34:03] And so I'm going to carry the ball on this one.

[00:34:06] Tennessee calls for 31 days of parent fasting back in June 26, 2024.

[00:34:14] And they even had a resolution for it and everything else.

[00:34:17] LC.org with the article.

[00:34:19] And why doesn't Trump lead by that right now?

[00:34:21] He could say, listen, on December the 19th, we're going to do a month or whatever the days work out.

[00:34:27] We're going to do 30 days with prayer.

[00:34:29] You could do, you know, whatever.

[00:34:30] And really call on it.

[00:34:32] Shut down government.

[00:34:33] Get the people involved.

[00:34:35] Start with prayer.

[00:34:36] Lead with repentance.

[00:34:38] Man, we got an opportunity.

[00:34:39] Anyway, there's Mitt Romney.

[00:34:41] The guy's a clown.

[00:34:42] And I don't know why he's news.

[00:34:43] And I don't know why we're going to just promote that.

[00:34:46] What does this guy know?

[00:34:48] First of all, it's more than four years away.

[00:34:53] Secondly, I don't know that he'll be the nominee.

[00:34:55] I mean, many are saying that it might be Eric Trump Jr.

[00:34:58] J.R.

[00:35:00] It might be J.D. Vance.

[00:35:02] I don't know who it'll be.

[00:35:02] But the question becomes, is it going to be a J.D. Vance versus AOC showdown?

[00:35:07] Is that what we're going to see?

[00:35:09] Any way you look at it, it's like a clown show, right?

[00:35:12] It's just like, wow.

[00:35:14] Anyway, time will tell what goes on.

[00:35:16] I don't think J.D. Vance is a bad guy necessarily, but I also don't know that I trust him.

[00:35:22] Some of these people are just, they jump on the political scene way too quickly for my comfort.

[00:35:30] Right?

[00:35:31] Way too quickly.

[00:35:32] You don't know who these people are.

[00:35:34] Well, ABC News.

[00:35:37] George Stephanopoulos got their heads handed to them, ladies and gentlemen, like you wouldn't believe.

[00:35:45] They now agree to apologize to Donald Trump and pay $15 million.

[00:35:53] This is huge.

[00:35:57] This is huge.

[00:36:24] And apologize to Donald Trump.

[00:36:27] Just imagine that.

[00:36:29] So it's a start.

[00:36:30] Now be very, very, very careful with this, ladies and gentlemen, because this could become a two-edged sword.

[00:36:35] Donald needs to really be George Washington-esque on this thing.

[00:36:40] He needs to take care of business and say you cannot defame people's characters for sure.

[00:36:45] You can't lie about people.

[00:36:47] But when is it lying about people and defamation, libel, slander, this kind of stuff, versus when do people have their free speech rights, their First Amendment rights to speak as they choose?

[00:36:58] Where's the line, in other words?

[00:37:00] And sadly, in America, we've said the line's different for the average person versus a, quote, celebrity or a, quote, you know, what do you call them?

[00:37:11] Famous person or whatever.

[00:37:13] See, when I want to sue them for attacking me, I should be able to.

[00:37:17] But they say, nope, Sam, you're a famous person.

[00:37:19] You're a celebrity.

[00:37:19] You can't sue us.

[00:37:21] And then they spend their whole time telling you how insignificant and inconsequential I am.

[00:37:25] Let me give you a quick example to make this point.

[00:37:28] There's a sheriff that just kind of, in my opinion, spoke out pretty negatively about the Constitutional Sheriff's Peace Officers Association and Richard Mack.

[00:37:38] Okay?

[00:37:41] A citizen was asking the sheriff, hey, you know, do you want to get a hold of Richard Mack or can you work with Richard Mack?

[00:37:49] And the sheriff basically said, oh, Richard, you know, he hasn't been a sheriff for a long time.

[00:37:53] Nobody listens to him.

[00:37:55] Whatever.

[00:37:55] Whatever.

[00:37:56] At the same time, you just had the mainstream press via the Steve Bannon show, Donald Trump's listening to the CSPOA.

[00:38:03] So it's kind of fascinating.

[00:38:04] Which is it?

[00:38:06] Sheriff, no one's listening to us at the CSPOA except for the Trump administration and Steve Bannon.

[00:38:16] I just find it very interesting.

[00:38:21] It's Sheriff Wilmot, who's the sheriff that I'm talking about.

[00:38:24] And I just look at this and go, what on earth?

[00:38:26] I mean, he's saying that we're irrelevant and we don't matter.

[00:38:29] But at the same time, Steve Bannon is listening to us.

[00:38:33] This one sheriff clown got his name pulled.

[00:38:38] Because, you know, we didn't think he was a good guy and Trump listened to us and others on that one.

[00:38:43] So you can pretend we're irrelevant when you want to.

[00:38:47] But it doesn't make it true.

[00:38:49] See, that's kind of the point that I'm driving at here.

[00:38:51] Same thing with me personally.

[00:38:53] But I'm really proud of Trump for suing ABC and Judge Stephanopoulos and saying, you know what, guys?

[00:38:59] This has got to stop.

[00:39:00] The court agreed.

[00:39:00] It stopped.

[00:39:01] And now they're paying $15 million.

[00:39:04] Man, I wish I could sue and get a couple of bucks for them to quit attacking me dishonestly, immorally, defaming my character.

[00:39:10] And you kind of wonder, too, you know, they say we're a nobody.

[00:39:13] How much of a nobody would we be if they didn't have their propaganda defending our characters the whole time?

[00:39:19] Many of these sheriffs don't even know anything about us.

[00:39:23] Because they've just fallen the Southern Poverty Law Center lies or the mainstream press lies about who we are and what we do and all this kind of stuff.

[00:39:30] They're listening to the Mitt Romneys of the world, right?

[00:39:32] They're listening to the ABC folks and the George Stephanopoulos folks.

[00:39:36] And, well, those guys have been discredited until the cows come home.

[00:39:39] $15 million later, how much credibility does George and ABC have, huh?

[00:39:45] Anyway, I digress.

[00:39:46] This is where your free speech rights hit the road, though, ladies and gentlemen, in my humble opinion.

[00:39:52] Listen carefully.

[00:39:54] A Florida woman, her name is Brianna Boston is her name.

[00:39:57] And she was arrested after allegedly ending a phone call with her insurance company by saying, quote, delay, deny, and depose.

[00:40:10] You people are next, she said.

[00:40:13] Now, do I think that's a wise thing to say in today's environment?

[00:40:16] Absolutely not.

[00:40:17] Don't misunderstand me.

[00:40:18] I don't think that's a wise thing to say at all.

[00:40:23] But I will say this.

[00:40:25] Those are the words found in the bullet casings at the scene of the fatal shooting of the United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson, right?

[00:40:37] So, you know, it's not good to use those words right now.

[00:40:39] But let's be clear.

[00:40:42] It's a common criticism of the insurance industry.

[00:40:45] There's a title of a 2010 book.

[00:40:48] Delay.

[00:40:49] Deny.

[00:40:50] Defend.

[00:40:51] Let's talk about that when we get back.

[00:40:53] You're listening to Liberty Roundtable Live.

[00:42:32] And we want to help protect your liberty too.

[00:42:35] Become part of the family.

[00:42:36] Everyone knows that the core of any society is the family.

[00:42:40] Therefore, the government should foster and protect the integrity of its family.

[00:42:45] We the people.

[00:42:46] Won't you join us as a Loving Liberty sponsor to help us promote the principles in the 5,000-year leap?

[00:42:52] Let's restore the miracle that changed the world at LovingLiberty.net.

[00:43:31] Live and on your radio, ladies and gentlemen, I'm Sam Bushman, hard-hitting talk at your fingertips.

[00:43:36] We're talking about this poor woman.

[00:43:38] She's frustrated like everybody else when it comes to health care.

[00:43:41] Health care is the most expensive in the United States of anywhere in the world.

[00:43:45] And no doubt people are frustrated with it.

[00:43:47] Now, of course, I would never, ever support or condone any type of behavior that would be violent.

[00:43:52] But this Florida woman, her name is Brianna Boston, she was arrested after allegedly ending a phone call with her insurance company by saying,

[00:44:03] Delayed, denied, opposed, you guys are next.

[00:44:06] Now, the FBI informed local police about the call on Tuesday.

[00:44:13] And then they arrested the woman, Brianna Boston, WFLA reports.

[00:44:18] Now, she has been charged with, quote, threats to conduct a mass shooting or conduct an act of terrorism, Fox 13 reports.

[00:44:30] She was on the phone with Blue Cross Blue Shield regarding a recent claim that was denied when this all went down.

[00:44:38] Now, the problem that I have with this whole scenario is this.

[00:44:44] Um, you know, I don't really like that you guys are next statement because it does indicate kind of a not the right choice of words.

[00:44:55] But it is saying that America is getting sick of this and we're starting to basically take action and vote with our dollars and with our feet.

[00:45:01] And certain insurance companies might be, you know what?

[00:45:04] People might not use them going forward.

[00:45:07] So it's very hard.

[00:45:09] Now, they say she can't use these words.

[00:45:15] Delay, deny, depose.

[00:45:17] Okay, because the problem with that is it's a threat.

[00:45:20] Well, that's the shooter used that as a threat with bullets on it without question.

[00:45:25] But the real question is this.

[00:45:27] Can Brianna quote the title of a 2010 book?

[00:45:33] The book is called Delay, Deny, Defend.

[00:45:39] Well, I don't know where they turn it into depose versus, you know, defend or whatever.

[00:45:44] But all I'm saying is you look at this and you go, I'm not comfortable with this arrest of this woman.

[00:45:52] Turns out she says she doesn't own a gun.

[00:45:55] She's of no threat to anyone else.

[00:45:57] And in my opinion, what you've got to do is take her comments in context and say she's really frustrated.

[00:46:03] She just had her case denied.

[00:46:05] She, like everybody else in America, when their cases are denied, if you're not very careful, you know what?

[00:46:10] Medical bills are going to bankrupt them.

[00:46:13] Most bankruptcies are medical bill related anyway, right?

[00:46:16] And you look at this and you go, man, I understand her frustration.

[00:46:19] Now, that doesn't mean I understand crossing the line and shooting at people or anything like that.

[00:46:25] But I don't think she should be arrested either.

[00:46:27] You have the right to make statements.

[00:46:30] You don't have the right to really, truly, completely threaten someone.

[00:46:34] But when it's a veiled threat or a threat that's debatable, if it was really a threat.

[00:46:38] For example, an attorney not involved in the case puts it this way.

[00:46:45] Although stupid, although ignorant, something you shouldn't say.

[00:46:51] The fact is the law or the law allows you to say stupid, ignorant things and even, quote, violent things.

[00:47:02] As long as it's not what's considered a, quote, true threat.

[00:47:08] And that's what the debate is now.

[00:47:10] What is a true threat?

[00:47:12] Just so you know, in the legal world, they call this political hyperbole.

[00:47:17] It's what she engaged in.

[00:47:19] And the real question is, you know, you might take the time to assess if it's a real threat.

[00:47:24] But to arrest her and call this a real threat when it clearly is not is the problem.

[00:47:29] See, you have government officials making all kinds of statements, right?

[00:47:33] For example, they say Sam Bushman, the Southern Party Law Center claims Sam Bushman.

[00:47:40] And they put this on the congressional record because of the claims of the Southern Party Law Center that I am a domestic threat, that I am a hate group.

[00:47:48] I'm anti-government.

[00:47:49] And I'm the nexus of hate, anti-government, racism in America kind of a statement.

[00:47:53] All right, now, can they make that kind of a statement?

[00:47:58] And that's virtually putting a bullet on my back, right?

[00:48:03] Or a target on my back for a bullet.

[00:48:04] Let's say that.

[00:48:05] Okay.

[00:48:06] But yet, you know, this girl can't say that.

[00:48:08] I know she's frustrated.

[00:48:10] I don't think it was a wise thing to say.

[00:48:11] I'm not endorsing what she said.

[00:48:14] But I am saying, you know, where do you go with this?

[00:48:16] A man in Utah, in Provo, Utah, right?

[00:48:18] Not far from where I live was shot.

[00:48:20] Because he made some threatening statements online that he shouldn't have made.

[00:48:23] But does it deserve being shot and he's dead?

[00:48:25] Or does there be Breonna being in jail now because of her frustration?

[00:48:31] I mean, I agree that, you know what?

[00:48:34] These people are delaying, denying, defending, deposing to get out of their responsibilities.

[00:48:44] There's no doubt about all that.

[00:48:46] And it's frustrating.

[00:48:47] And the courts have sided too much with big tech, with big business, with big insurance,

[00:48:51] with big whatever against the people.

[00:48:53] And the people are sick of it.

[00:48:55] That's the rub.

[00:48:56] That's the problem.

[00:48:58] So I'm not defending what this lady said.

[00:49:01] But I am, to some degree, defending her right to say it.

[00:49:04] She has every right to say this if she chooses.

[00:49:08] And we really need to kind of be aware of that, right?

[00:49:13] We really need to kind of realize that, you know what?

[00:49:17] You can attack a Breonna for saying that and throw her in jail if you want.

[00:49:21] You can ignore the man that went crazy with a gun.

[00:49:27] Which I don't think he should have done.

[00:49:28] I mean, I'm against it a thousand percent.

[00:49:30] Don't misunderstand me.

[00:49:31] There's some people in the media who don't have any concern about this or they're fine with it.

[00:49:39] I'm not.

[00:49:40] I'm not at all.

[00:49:42] But I will say this.

[00:49:43] I get the frustration for the American people.

[00:49:45] And I don't think this is a single instance.

[00:49:47] I don't think this is going away anytime soon.

[00:49:52] And how do we change that game?

[00:49:55] The only way I know to change the game is for us to have honor in the courts,

[00:50:03] responsibility by these big companies.

[00:50:07] Okay?

[00:50:07] Somebody pays insurance their whole life and now they just get denied.

[00:50:10] And now they're just, yeah, I've paid insurance my whole life and now I'm bankrupt

[00:50:13] because I can't afford the, okay, medical bills or whatever.

[00:50:16] We've got to visit these issues.

[00:50:19] By the way, they say megastar Alex Brucewitz collapses on stage at a Republican gala

[00:50:30] due to, quote, terrifying medical incident.

[00:50:35] Man, that's not good.

[00:50:38] Now they call this guy a megastar.

[00:50:41] They call him a Trump campaign advisor.

[00:50:44] He suddenly passed out in the middle of his address on Sunday.

[00:50:48] It stunned the guests in attendance, prompted an outpouring of worry from participants.

[00:50:55] He's the chairman of the firm called X Strategies.

[00:50:58] And he was instrumental in the campaign of President Donald Trump for 2024.

[00:51:03] He was a distinguished guest at the event.

[00:51:07] He started slurring his words just before pausing.

[00:51:12] And then it went bad.

[00:51:14] His shouts filled the room.

[00:51:17] Oh, shoot.

[00:51:19] We say we hope Alex is okay.

[00:51:23] And I guess there's a video about it too.

[00:51:25] It's just, oh, my heavens.

[00:51:28] Anyway, our prayers are with this gentleman.

[00:51:30] And our prayers are, by the way, with Nancy Pelosi.

[00:51:34] As far as I understand, she had a problem too.

[00:51:38] She fell.

[00:51:39] She was overseas.

[00:51:41] I guess now she has to have some kind of a hip surgery or something like that.

[00:51:46] So our prayers are with her as well.

[00:51:49] And so I don't think I'm just praying for megastars.

[00:51:53] Alex Brucewitz collapses on stage at Republican gala

[00:51:56] due to terrifying medical incident.

[00:51:59] And our prayers are with Nancy Pelosi as well.

[00:52:02] Look, I might disagree with some of these people politically.

[00:52:06] I might certainly have a problem with them from a moral point of view,

[00:52:11] from an ethics point of view,

[00:52:12] from a view of the proper role of government point of view.

[00:52:15] But I don't want any harm to come to Nancy Pelosi or this Alex gentleman.

[00:52:19] I pray for their speedily, speedy recovery.

[00:52:23] I pray for their families, especially at this Christmas holiday time.

[00:52:27] We've got to have civility in our society, folks.

[00:52:30] We've got to have a little bit of decency and say our humanity trumps,

[00:52:33] pardon the pun,

[00:52:36] what's going on in the political world or our views on this or that

[00:52:40] or our differences on stories or our opinions or whatever else, right?

[00:52:46] We've got to really be willing to honorably deal with that.

[00:52:51] And I feel like that's what a lot of the mainstream press isn't willing to do.

[00:52:56] I mean, they don't even seem to be bothered by this shooting of this insurance executive

[00:53:04] or the assassination attempts on Donald Trump's life.

[00:53:07] They seem to like think it's fine.

[00:53:09] I don't think it's fine.

[00:53:10] No matter who it is,

[00:53:12] I don't want any bad things to happen to any one of these people,

[00:53:15] Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, any of these people, Hillary Clinton,

[00:53:20] even though I don't agree with them on much.

[00:53:25] I want there to be peace and I want there to be hope.

[00:53:34] I want there to be solutions.

[00:53:37] And I, um, I don't understand this.

[00:53:42] You know, they say I'm one of the greatest haters in the country, right?

[00:53:45] I mean, that's literally been reported before Congress,

[00:53:49] but I'm just thinking I'm the guy calling for kindness to Nancy Pelosi.

[00:53:55] Kindness.

[00:53:56] So whether you're an always or a never Trumper,

[00:53:58] I'm saying be kind to all of them.

[00:54:02] I follow the Prince of Peace, ladies and gentlemen.

[00:54:04] If they tell you I'm a hater, I'm sad to hear it.

[00:54:07] It isn't the truth.

[00:54:09] All right.

[00:54:10] Our prayers are with all these people.

[00:54:12] Our prayers are with, uh, what's his name that fell too?

[00:54:16] Uh, what's his name?

[00:54:17] He's that, he's that guy that's with Rand Paul over there in Kentucky.

[00:54:21] Mitch McConnell.

[00:54:22] Our prayers are with Mitch who fell also.

[00:54:23] I'm so sorry to hear that.

[00:54:25] Our prayers are there with their families.

[00:54:26] I hope for less pain for all of them.

[00:54:28] And I hope for speedy recovery.

[00:54:32] There you have it.

[00:54:33] That's, that's how much I hate.

[00:54:34] I want kindness and love and I want goodwill.

[00:54:38] I want to follow the Prince of Peace.

[00:54:39] How about you?

[00:54:40] All right.
