* Guest: Lowell Nelson - CampaignForLiberty.org, RonPaulInstitute.org
* Robert Scott Bell Speaks At The Highland, Utah Monthly Meeting!
Robert often says, "The most dangerous thing you can have in America is really good medical insurance." Why is that? Because Big Health will give you all the medicine (poison) they have because your medical insurance will pay for it.
* Audit USAID, Then Shut it Down! - Ron Paul.
This is a pattern we ought to follow for MOST of our government agencies and departments.
* Tariffs and the Constitution - Andrew Napolitano.
* No branch of the general government is authorized to delegate to another branch its authority. For example, the president has the authority to veto a bill that was approved by Congress. Can the president delegate his veto authority to the Supreme Court? Of course not. But that is what Congress did when it said the president could decide what to ban, and the countries upon which the ban would be enforced.
* All legislative authority resides in Congress--not the executive, and not the judicial branches. Any attempt on the part of the president or the Supreme Court to legislate should be ignored as null and void. This is the non-delegation principle, and we need to remember it, and require our public servants to adhere to it.
* Right To Work, Mark Mix: Utah House Bill 267 would ban union monopoly bargaining over all government workers. Currently H.B. 267 is on Governor Spencer Cox's desk and he could sign it any minute!
Will you please call Utah Governor Spencer Cox at 801-538-1000 and urge him to sign H.B. 267?
* Trump has ordered that some former and current federal and state officials lose their security clearance and access to federal buildings, Former Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg are three of the eight officials who are expected to be affected.
* The revocations come just a day after Trump revoked the security clearance of Joe Biden, and ended Biden's daily intelligence briefings, citing reciprocity and cognitive decline.
* Rudy Giuliani: They’re still after me!
* Former Tennessee education chief Penny Schwinn to serve as assistant secretary of the US Department of Education under President Donald Trump.
* Make no cents! Trump orders end to production of new pennies - Joe Kovacs, WND.com
* According to the US Mint, the cost of producing a single penny was nearly 3.7 cents in Fiscal Year 2024, and the coin has cost above face value for 19 consecutive years.
Before 1962, pennies were composed of copper, and are now made mostly of zinc, with some copper plating.
[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West. You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. All right. Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. Sam Bushman live on your radio. Hard-hitting news that it refused to use, no doubt, continues now. This is Hour 2 of 2, the goal always to promote God, family, and country, to protect life, liberty, and property. That's who we are and what we do.
[00:00:39] This is the broadcast for February the 10th in the year of our Lord, 2025. Lowell Nelson, CampaignForLiberty.org. Welcome back, sir. Glad to be with you, Sam. Thank you for having me. All right. Let's kick it off right. You had an incredible Highland-Utah meeting. Robert Scott Bell was there? He sure was. Many of you know Robert Scott Bell. He's a podcaster, talk show host for over 25 years.
[00:01:09] And he knows, he talked a lot about health, about health freedom. But he knows all the other issues, the liberty issues, too. I mean, he can talk intelligently about real ID, the dangers of surveillance. I mean, anything, any topic you've got, he's well grounded in that information. But he does live in Highland, and it's a great blessing to have him so close by.
[00:01:33] I overheard him talk about the RFK junior nominations and the fact that he was back in D.C. to help with that. I overheard him say that in a board meeting a couple weeks ago, and I thought, wow, we ought to have him talk about this at the Highland meeting. So he did that last Friday evening, and it was just fascinating. He talked about the MAHA mandate. Of course, you know, he and... Yeah, let's speak clear so people understand this is not MAGA said wrong.
[00:02:03] This is intentional. The MAHA, right? That's right. It stands for Make America Healthy Again. And it's... Boy, do we need that, sir. That's for sure. It is a play on the MAGA, you know, make America great again. So there have been a number of these things, making America healthy again and so forth. But this is a mandate.
[00:02:25] It's not that they want to mandate anything, but that's an alliteration that they really like, and it refers to the mandate of Americans who put Trump in the office of president. That's what it refers to, basically a mandate from the American people that we want what Trump's got. And so MAHA is saying we want what JFK Jr., RFK Jr.'s got. So that...
[00:02:50] And so the MAHA mandate really contains three commitments, and I just thought I'd highlight that here first off this morning. Number one, they want to end corruption in health agencies for way too long. Big Pharma and the food industry giants and so forth, they've controlled the agencies that were meant to protect us. So we need to sever those corrupt ties and bring the agencies back to the people. Number two, bring real science back, right?
[00:03:18] None of this faux science or just made up pure mythical science. Public health decisions must be grounded in real, unbiased science, not corporate agendas. And number three, reverse America's chronic disease epidemic, right? Chronic illness has soared, especially among our kids. I mean, today it's common to hear about a child having diabetes, for example.
[00:03:42] Well, 40 years ago, Sam, it was unheard of for a child to have a degenerative disease or a chronic illness like that. And so what's changed? Well, part of his lecture, a lot of his lecture, is talking about what has changed. And one of the things that has changed is that Congress has passed a law that prohibits you from saying what a vitamin does for you or a natural food does for you. Right?
[00:04:12] They can only say its structure and function, but they can't tell you what it will fix, you know, if you're hurting. And so they don't want you to know, for example, that folate helps to prevent birth defects. They don't want you to know that selenium can cure cancer, can reverse the effects of cancer. And the GTF chromium can reverse diabetes, right?
[00:04:37] They don't want you to know that these minerals, these vitamins, these health foods exist to free you from disease. Why don't they want you to know that? Well, because they make money on sick people. They want a sick child. They want adults to be sick. They don't want you dead, but they want you sick because then you'll go rushing off to the medical community for help.
[00:05:05] And then they can, you know, pour, you know, their solution, right, into you, which is usually toxic, usually poisonous. It usually causes these chronic degenerative diseases, you know. And the sad part is, Lowell, you know, you might think this is kind of by accident or how did we get here. A lot of this, believe it or not, is on purpose for filthy lucre, for money. And oftentimes it's for control.
[00:05:33] And you look at a lot of these congressmen and senators, they're literally giving RFKJR, who wants to straighten a lot of this out and, you know, bring truth to power on this kind of stuff. They're literally opposing him. And you find out, you follow the money and you go, oh, boy. Wow. And that was one of the slides that Robert showed us is how much money have these senators received from, you know, big pharma and from companies in the health products industry.
[00:06:00] Well, one of the slides showed six of the, I don't know, I wouldn't call them leading senators, I guess, but they're senators who have received so much money from big pharma. So like Bernie Sanders, independent from Vermont, right, $1.95 million, right, so almost $2 million. And these dollar amounts are from the moment they became a senator, right?
[00:06:25] So over the course of his tenure as a senator, Bernie Sanders has received almost $2 million from big pharma. Ralph Warnock, a Democrat from Georgia, $1.76 million. Marsha Blackburn, a Republican from Tennessee, $1.38 million. Bill Cassidy, a Republican from Louisiana, $1.23 million. Elizabeth Warren, a Democrat from Massachusetts, $1.22 million. And Ron Wyden, a Democrat from Oregon, $1.2 million bucks, you know, from big pharma.
[00:06:55] Shouldn't these people be in prison for that pay-to-play scandal? I don't know, man. But, you know, these are contributions to their campaign coffers, and these contributions are made with the understanding that these senators will vote to protect and defend big pharma from, you know, from legislation that will hurt them or from nominations that will hurt them. Well, RFK Jr. will probably hurt them, right, because he wants to pull back the curtain.
[00:07:25] He wants to expose big pharma for the, you know, the terrible people. Well, anyway, their motive, right, is to keep you sick, right? He wants to pull back the curtain on that whole operation. And if he's confirmed, then they're going to be exposed, and they're going to be – it'll be a big hit to their revenue picture. In other words, instead of making $62 billion or whatever it was that they went up to in 2020,
[00:07:53] they will maybe make less than a billion. I mean, it'll be a dramatic impact on their bottom line. They don't want to have that happen. Their bottom line depends on you being sick and depends on you not having the information you need to be healthy and be your own doctor, right? That's their game. And I just thought that Robert Scott Bell did such a great job talking about this.
[00:08:16] In fact, he even paraphrased RFK Jr., who has said, when you're sick, you wish for only one thing, and that is to be well again. But when you're well, the whole world is open to you. You wish for many things, right? I mean, that's how important it is to be healthy. And boy, is that right. I remember in COVID, you know, you either want to die or get well right away. I mean, I get it. But Robert Scott Bell, well-known talk show host, great speaker on all things, but health in particular.
[00:08:47] And I want to repeat what you said earlier. Robert often says the most dangerous thing you can have in America is really good medical insurance. Well, that's telling, isn't it? I mean, that's like, oh, boy. And the reason that is the case, Sam, is because big health will give you all the medicine or poison that they have because your medical insurance will pay for it.
[00:09:13] If you don't have good medical insurance, they're not going to intervene so aggressively, right? They're not going to be able to pour their drugs into you. But, boy, if you have good medical insurance, they will give you everything they've got. It really is an astonishing statement. The most dangerous thing you can have in America is really good medical insurance. Boy, wow. It's a scary scenario. I think this is worth keeping up on.
[00:09:41] RFK, I guess, is struggling to be confirmed. Do you think we'll get his confirmation? Well, that's another announcement we made at the Friday night meeting this last Friday night. We're inviting all Utahns to call Senator John Curtis. But be very polite. We think that he's leaning toward confirming RFK Jr. But we're not certain about that. We are certain about Mike Lee. Mike Lee is going to confirm.
[00:10:11] We hope that John Curtis will also vote to confirm him. But that vote is going to happen like this week, probably tomorrow, maybe Wednesday. And so all of you out there in whatever state you're in, please contact your senators and encourage them to vote to confirm RFK Jr. Because he is really going to do some great work in cleaning up the industry, the big pharma and so forth. Amen.
[00:10:39] Now, I do know the Capitol switchboard is being hammered. They say it's 10 times more calls than they're used to getting. They're used to getting like 40 calls an hour. Now they're anywhere from 200 to 400 calls per hour. They're freaking out. Calls are going to voicemail. They don't know what to do. They say a lot of people are calling and swearing at people. Look, I agree with Lowell Nelson on this. You've got to call and be dignified and polite and respectful. You can be insistent. You can say, look, we really need that.
[00:11:03] You know, you can express your heartfelt views that we've got to take this seriously and we've got to get on it now and we've got to really do. That's fine. But remember to be polite and respectful, though. When you get done, if it's a respectful, professional, appropriate, courteous, but insistent call, there's going to be respect there. If you just go off and drop F-bombs or get all crazy and stuff, they're just going to be like, okay, another clown goofball call. And sadly, they're right. So be very, very aware of that.
[00:11:32] Any final tidbits from the Highland meeting? Well, that's good. That's good for now, Sam. But thank you for giving us this opportunity to talk about something that's so important, right? I mean, they've got Tulsi Gabbard's confirmation. You've got RFK Jr.'s confirmation. Caster Kells' nomination. I mean, these votes that the Senate will be engaging in this week, so very important. And, again, I second what Sam said.
[00:12:01] Be polite, but just let your senators know how important it is to you to have these confirmations done. Let's get it done this week, and let's get them in place. Thank you, Sam. Amen to that. No time like the present. Now, Ron Paul always has great zingers, but this time his headline is just perfect, Lowell. Audit USAID and then shut it down. That's the column heading. Great column as usual.
[00:12:32] You know, Sam, I hadn't really known about what USAID activities were. This is USAID, USAID. I remember as a merit badge counselor talking about, you know, the merit badge in the world. They call it citizenship in the world merit badge. I remember talking about USAID in that context about how it was a wonderful organization, helping the development,
[00:13:00] helping developing countries and so forth. Not a single word in the merit badge material about what it was actually doing. And so this revelation about USAID is incredible to me, right? I mean, it just blows my mind about what it's doing. And so this column, Ron, just blows the lid off this.
[00:13:25] He says, if true, the closing of USAID may be one of the most significant changes President Trump has made among many dramatic actions in his first couple weeks in office. Many Americans may still have the idea that USAID is a government agency delivering relief at disaster sites overseas. Boy, I mean, that's kind of what I thought it was doing.
[00:13:48] He continues, they may still remember the bags of rice or grain with the USAID logo on them, but that is not USAID. USAID is a key component of the U.S. government's regime change operations worldwide. USAID spends billions of dollars every year propping up NGOs overseas that function as shadow governments, eating away at elected governments that the U.S. interventionists want to overthrow.
[00:14:16] Behind most U.S. foreign policy disasters overseas, you will see the fingerprints of USAID. From Ukraine to Georgia and far beyond, USAID is meddling in the internal affairs of foreign countries, something that would infuriate Americans if it was happening to us. When President Trump ordered a 90-day pause in USAID activities, we quickly learned just how pernicious the agency really is.
[00:14:42] The U.S. media reported that Ukrainian press outlets were scrambling to keep their doors open when U.S. dollars stopped flowing. It's reported that 90% of the media outlets are funded by the U.S. government, end of quote. Sam, this is just over the top. I mean, I can hardly believe it, but you know that Ron Paul's honest. He's just telling people what he knows. And really what this means, folks, is that there really is no independent media in Ukraine.
[00:15:12] They have numerous fake outlets, and they spout the propaganda of the U.S. regime. There's no way they would allow the publication of information that counters the U.S. official narrative. And so, folks, this is why citizens on the ground like Sam Bushman are so important and why outlets like Liberty Roundtable are so valuable. We need these kind of outlets in Ukraine. We need them in Georgia and Libya and Lebanon everywhere, right? We need outlets everywhere.
[00:15:42] Sam, not only is this obviously immoral, but it's also dangerous. And Ron Paul says this. He says, from battlefield news to casualties to the state of the Ukrainian military, the news from Ukraine is being written by U.S. government-backed media outlets and then picked up by the U.S. and other Western media. It's a closed propaganda loop that not only propagandizes the U.S. citizen, but also feeds false information into U.S. government outlets, such as Congress,
[00:16:12] that rely on mainstream U.S. media reporting for their news on Ukraine. End of quote. No wonder Congress critters continue to support this hopeless and futile war in Ukraine, Sam. Well, and this is a pattern we need to follow, though. You know what? I mean, all the details just make you get angry and all that kind of stuff. But look, the pattern we ought to follow is audit and then shut it down. We're talking about the USAID.
[00:16:39] We're also talking about this pattern for most of our government agencies and departments. Most of them are unconstitutional. Donald is scratching the surface, and I appreciate his stand and his willingness. I appreciate, you know, but he's getting sued everywhere. There's a big battle in America. People are freaking out everywhere. We have got to have, you know, it's common sense versus nonsense is what we're really talking about. Totally, yeah. And so just to give you a little bit more flavor about what USAID spends on and does,
[00:17:10] you know, there's a Mark Buffington. He posted on Twitter, 25 USAID spending items that you might find objectionable. Well, here's 10 of them just to give you a taste, okay? $1.5 million to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in Serbia. $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia. $2 million for sex change and LGBT activism in Guatemala.
[00:17:37] $16.8 million to support equitable outcomes and inclusion in Vietnam. $8.3 million for equity and inclusion education. $8 million to teach Sri Lankan journalists to avoid binary gender language. $20 million for producing an Iraqi version of Sesame Street. $520 million, that's half a billion dollars here for ESG in Africa. $45 million for DEI scholarships in Burma.
[00:18:04] $200 million to fund irrigation for the Taliban's poppy fields. You know, that's just a taste of what kind of stuff USAID is doing. And so Sam, just to wrap this up, it feels similar to the feeling that parents got when their children were locked out of public schools during COVID, and then the so-called education was being piped into their homes via Zoom-type software, and their parents saw and heard for the first time what was really being taught in public schools.
[00:18:34] I mean, it's a wake-up call, big-time wake-up call, this corrosive material, this subtle, perverse material being fed to our children who are attending public school. Well, this is this perverse corrosive material being fed to other countries by USAID, and it's about time we had the curtain pulled back on them. We need to audit USAID and then shut it down, just like Ron Paul says, Sam.
[00:19:04] Well, all I can tell you is it's great work by Ron Paul to lay out the case. It's great for President Donald Trump and Elon Musk and others to carry the ball on this. We pray for their success. We'll do all that we can to help them be successful. This is, I mean, as Ron Paul wisely says, if this is truthful, what we're hearing about this, this is one of the most important things we've done in a long, long time. Now, Judge Andrew Napalo's column is equally riveting today, Lowell.
[00:19:34] It is, Sam, because he's talking about this authority that the president is exercising to impose tariffs, particularly on Mexico and Canada and China. I mean, those are the ones that have been in the news most recently, just last week. Well, how in the world does the president have the authority to do that? Because obviously in our Constitution, the states wrote and put into effect, they said that they vested in the general government this authority to lay and collect taxes,
[00:20:04] duties, impulsions, and excises to pay the debts of the government. Where do they place that authority? They put it squarely in the hands of the U.S. House, because all legislation for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives. That comes right out of the Constitution. So we have to ask ourselves, how in the world is the president imposing tariffs on countries around the world? Well, so Andrew Napolitano, the good judge, goes back in history and talks about how this came to be.
[00:20:33] Because from the inception of the country in the 1790s, right, until the 1860s, when the southern states withdrew from the Union because of the unfair tariffs Congress had imposed, well, this general government ran entirely on tariffs. There was no income tax. There was no other taxes being imposed. It was just simply tariffs. And our government ran great during that period of time, the 75 years or so.
[00:21:02] And then along came the progressive era, right, with Wilson and FDR and other presidents. Basically, Congress at that point, they said that the president could go ahead and have the power to impose these tariffs. Well, how did they figure that?
[00:21:23] Well, it turns out that there was, you know, well, Congress said that the president could decide what armaments to ban and which countries to impose the ban upon, right? Congress did that. Congress had no authority to do that, but that's what they said. And so it was challenged in court and went up to a federal grand jury.
[00:21:50] They indicted some corporation for selling armaments to Bolivia when the president didn't want that to happen. A federal judge dismissed the indictment on the constitutional basis that only Congress can decide what behavior is criminal, and it cannot give that power to the president. Now, this is a key point, Sam. I just want to emphasize that no branch of the general government is authorized to delegate to another branch its authority.
[00:22:19] For example, the president has the authority to veto a bill that was approved by Congress. Well, can the president delegate his veto authority to the U.S. Supreme Court, for example? Well, of course not. But that is what Congress did when it said that the president could decide what to ban and the countries upon which the ban would be enforced, right? That's the power of the Congress. They may not delegate that authority, and yet they did. And so let me just say it again.
[00:22:49] All legislative authority resides in Congress, not in the executive and not in the judicial branches. And this is the principle of non-delegation. And Andrew Napolitano brings this out big time in his column, which is posted at ronpaulinstitute.org. This is a non-delegation principle. We need to remember it, and we need to require our public servants to adhere to it. All right? So what happened?
[00:23:13] Well, the U.S. Supreme Court, they took this case, and not only did they reverse the order of this federal judge, but they basically wrote a treatise on presidential power. And they said that even though the power to establish foreign policy is not expressly given to the president, that that power traveled, quote, I'm quoting you here,
[00:23:37] that power traveled across the Atlantic in 1789 from King George III to President George Washington and is permanently reposed in the presidency. Holy mackerel. Can you believe that? We have Justice George Sutherland to thank for that gem of utter nonsense. Sam? Well, we're flat out of time, but remember this, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:24:00] All legislative authority resides in Congress, not the executive and not the judicial branches, ladies and gentlemen. So, hey, any time the president and or the Supreme Court tries to legislate, it ought to be null and void. Thank you, Lowell. We appreciate your time, sir. Really quick, just so you know, there's a House bill marked Mix, our friends over at Right to Work. Utah House Bill 267. Would ban union monopoly bargaining powers.
[00:24:31] You got to call Spencer Cox and get rid of that ASAP. We'll talk about that right after the break. We know Lowell's got to fly. He's got some meetings today. We'll have him back soon. Lowell, thank you, sir. You're welcome, Sam. Good luck to you. Thank you. All right. Hang tight, ladies and gentlemen. More in seconds. You're listening to Liberty Roundtable Live. Pursuing Liberty. When you are finished, you may hang up or press 1 for special options.
[00:32:33] Hello. My name is Sam Bushman. I'm calling live on the air. My radio show is called Liberty Roundtable Live. And I was hoping to speak with somebody. It's kind of tragic that nobody answers the phone during the legislative session. Nevertheless, I want you to know that we really are hoping on this right to work. Mark Mix is the guy that briefed us on this bill. We're good friends of his. Utah House Bill 267. We're hoping that Governor Cox will sign this bill into law right away.
[00:33:02] Anyway, if somebody could get back to me, that'd be great. My direct number is 801-756-9133. That's a direct number to me. And I'm just calling on behalf of myself and our audience. Which has a large Utah constituency. Not to mention across the country. Let's set the example in the state of Utah. Sign the HB 267, please. Thanks so much. And have a wonderful day. All right. You can go ahead and disconnect that, Liz. Right to work. Mark Mix.
[00:33:32] Utah House Bill 267. Ban union monopoly bargaining over all government workers. It's on Spencer Cox's desk. You can sign it any minute. We need your encouragement. Your help to get this done. I'll put the number in the show notes so everybody can do this. Will you please call Governor Spencer Cox's office? I'm going to put Utah Governor, because this is a nationally syndicated show here. Utah Governor Spencer Cox's phone line. Call him.
[00:34:00] And, you know, check if there's something going on in your state very similar. 801-538-1000. 801-538-1000. And urge him to sign HB 267 now, please. Will you do that for me? I'd be greatly appreciative. Also, Donald Trump is interestingly in the news for a variety of purposes as the battle goes on. He was a rock star, I guess, at the Super Bowl last night.
[00:34:26] I'm not really a Super Bowl guy, but I am delighted the Eagles won. You know, I just, I don't like the cockiness of the Kansas City folks. And, you know, they've already, I mean, who wants to go to a Super Bowl and every time the same people win over and over and over and over? Okay, so it was a blowout, very interesting. A lot of people had to eat crow. But Donald Trump got, you know, popped up on the Jumbotron or whatever else. And, you know, everybody loved it.
[00:34:53] And I guess some of the other people got booed, but Donald Trump got serious applause. So when they tell you that nobody backs President Trump or his agenda, let that be your, quote, poll. The Super Bowl loved President Trump. And the other people kind of got some boos. But Trump has now ordered that some former and current federal state officials are now losing their security clearances and access to federal buildings.
[00:35:22] Former Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is one of them. That guy's a clown, in my humble opinion. New York Attorney General Letitia James is one of them. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is one of them, among others. Those are three of the eight officials who are expected to be affected by this. Now, what I find fascinating about this whole discussion, and I don't really understand this.
[00:35:50] Maybe somebody could kind of call in and explain this to me or whatever. They say the revocations come just a day after Trump revoked the security clearance of Joe Biden and ended Joe Biden's access to the daily intelligence briefings. Listening, listening, signing reciprocity and cognitive decline. Now, I think Trump is right on this.
[00:36:19] And I commend him for it. The only thing I don't understand about it, though, ladies and gentlemen, the only thing I really don't get about this, why on earth are we now? I mean, we're literally Donald Trump took office on the 20th. And, you know, Congress has been, what, kicking around since the 4th? So Congress is like five weeks in and the president's like, you know, what is it, February the 10th, 20th?
[00:36:49] President Trump's like three weeks in or whatever it is. I'm trying to think the 20th until now is, you know, 23 weeks. All right. So one group has, the Congress has five weeks and President Trump has like three weeks in office already, okay? And what I don't understand about all this is why aren't those security clearances immediately revoked for all the old team? I mean, why not by nature? Right?
[00:37:19] It's, I don't understand it. Why would all of a sudden these security clearances just kind of hover around until Donald Trump gets around to specifically saying deny these people clearances? Because by nature, they should lose their clearance no longer needed if they're not there, right? What does Joe need a clearance for? Why would Joe get intelligence briefings? Why would, okay, I don't care if he's got cognitive decline or not. I mean, I agree that's a problem. But that's secondary to the real issue.
[00:37:45] The real issue is why do all these guys from yesteryear administrations have clearances in the first place? I mean, to me, if you're a security expert, you know dang well, hey, if something's not needed anymore, having access is not good. An employee leaves your company tomorrow, right? Even if they're good, nice people and they're not causing any problems, you usually say, hey, we're going to shut down your email address or at least change the password to it so you can't access it. We're going to make sure that your logins no longer work. You're no longer, it's not hostile.
[00:38:15] It's just a security thing. We're not going to leave something open that people aren't paying attention. I don't understand this. So I really commend Donald Trump for ordering that some, former and current, well, I don't understand why we're talking about some. Shouldn't we replace some with all? I think Trump needs to order that all, former, and you would say some current. The current is what baffles me.
[00:38:42] And why you would have to have a specific order by Trump to do this? It should be done by default, right? I mean, I just don't, I just, things like this baffle me. You know, it's kind of like the Super Bowl. It baffles me too. I was having a conversation with a gentleman yesterday, a friend. And I said, you know, we were talking about the Super Bowl and I just started to say, I don't understand this Super Bowl thing. Obviously, I was about to explain what, why does everybody want to watch that?
[00:39:09] I mean, you got a hundred plus million people watch the Super Bowl. At least they claim, right? I mean, it's big money for ads for the Super Bowl. You know, $7 million per 30-second ad and stuff like that is just crazy expensive. And I was kind of saying, I don't understand how people get so into the Super Bowl when it's on Sunday, the Sabbath day, the Lord's day. A day that should be a day of delight. A covenant between us and our God. God, you know, and this guy, and I started to say, I don't really understand this. And he goes, well, let me explain. There's two teams.
[00:39:37] And it was a great joke, but it made the point that, you know, that's kind of how we seem to be simpletons on this stuff. But I'm saying this, the revocations come just a day after President Trump shuts down Biden. I don't understand why Biden would even have access at all when he left. Did Joe Biden leave access for Donald Trump to these national security issues when the tide was turned in 2020? I don't know. I just find it so strange. Everything in government just seems to baffle me.
[00:40:06] How there's no accountability. There's no responsibility. There's no, I mean, it's just as insanity, I tell you. Absolute insanity. And how to fix it? I mean, the only way I know, ladies and gentlemen, is for good people. To demand accountability, right? I mean, there's no other way except for to demand accountability. And we, the people, are trying to do that.
[00:40:32] As I mentioned earlier on the show today, you've got 10 times the number of phone calls that are going on in this thing, right? 10 times. That is huge. So, I don't really know where to go with this thing. I just don't understand it. Looking for an IT partner that truly understands your needs?

[00:43:02] All right. Back with you live, ladies and gentlemen. Thanks for your understanding. Sometimes I get all fired up and don't even hear the brakes when they start. Sorry about that. It's all me. But I'm just sick of it. I can't take it. I just don't understand how Trump can order that some of these people lose their security clearances. Look, just abolish security clearances for every one of these clowns. And you say, Sam, that doesn't work very well. You know, how do you have a peaceful, you know, appropriate transfer of power with that kind of stuff?
[00:43:27] Look, Congress needs to get after it and approve some of these people and give them the clearances they need if they're modern people. Having left over yesteryear, whatever you want to call it, expired clearances, but still active or no good. That's disaster in the making. So I commend Trump for these revocations. And I commend Trump for shutting down Joe Biden's clearances. I think you've got to go way more ham than that. You've got to get on it. These people are evil, corrupt. They shouldn't have any security clearances.
[00:43:57] I'd like to see a list of who currently has security clearances that don't need them. Anyway, it just baffles me how everything in government that's horrible just happens and it's impossible to stop. By golly, they put it in place and it runs and you can't get out of this for a year and you can't get out of that for 10 years. You can't not do this. But yet anything that you want to do that's right, it's like, oh, man, we've got to manually do that. So everything bad seems to be on automated.
[00:44:23] Everything good seems to be manual and a big fight to get done every time you turn around. It's insane. Let me give you an example. 1,500 plus people got pardoned in the J6 thing. 2,000 people got pardoned approximately from what I understand or more with regards to the pro-life thing. That's phenomenal. But at the same time, I kind of go, well, what on earth is happening here? Because they're still after Rudy Giuliani. Rudy Giuliani, quote, they're still after me.
[00:44:55] How the heck is that? Who's still after you, Rudy? Call me, buddy. I'd love to talk to you about this. I'd love to put you on the radio and we can drill into this. Who's still after you? And Trump didn't give you a pardon? Why not? Oh, wait. Your stuff is state crimes, not general federal crimes or whatever. You know, where do we go with this kind of stuff? But I look at it and there's too many political prisoners from Rudy Giuliani to Rand Paul. I'm sorry, not Rand Paul. Wow.
[00:45:24] To Ken Cromar. His name is Paul Cromar. That's what I was thinking. Anyway, Ken Cromar to Ammon Bundy to Stuart Rhodes needs a pardon. Enrique needs a pardon. I mean, so many people need these pardons. What's going on? There's all kinds of political prisoners everywhere. Planned Parenthood, as far as I can tell, is still being funded. We got to shut that down yesterday. I mean, if Doge wants to get something done, quit murdering babies with our taxpayer dollars, please. Right?
[00:45:53] I mean, Rudy Giuliani, they're still after me. I mean, that's a sad tale. I don't know what I can do for him. Okay? What about Edward Snowden? What about these guys that should be absolutely pardoned big time? They should be brought home as American heroes, even though, you know, some of these guys aren't even American, but they blew the whistle. They told the truth. Oh, they broke laws, Sam. You know what? What about the laws being broken by sending this money all over the place to USAID? What about all this money everywhere? What about these security clearances that are being abused?
[00:46:22] Okay? Anyway, our prayers are with Rudy Giuliani. I'm not telling you he's the most perfect guy either. But does he deserve the barbecue while Hunter Biden runs free? I don't think so. Okay, what about the Jeffrey Epstein deal? His clown female counterpart. Hey, you know, she's probably in a lush prison somewhere. I mean, put her in the general population, right? I'm just saying it's very, very interesting how this all works. There's two classes of people. You got the insiders and you got the rest of us.
[00:46:53] Anyway, for example, President Trump saying he's going to get rid of the education department. I pray we get it done. I don't have a lot of hope. Right? You say, well, Sam, the person he put in charge, she'll do it for sure. Maybe. Maybe. But now former Tennessee education chief, her name is Penny Schwinn, to serve as, quote, assistant secretary of the U.S. Department of Education under President Donald Trump.
[00:47:21] Now, I look at that and I go, what? Why do we have this Penny lady? Penny Schwinn is a disaster. Yeah, a disaster. Now what you've got is you've got a person. Why would you even put an assistant secretary? If your goal is to plan yourself out of a job and shut down the education department, do you really need an assistant secretary? See, I don't think so. I don't think you need that at all.
[00:47:51] But that's kind of what's going on. So anyway, that scares me. Makes me think they're not really going to get rid of the education department. You don't need an assistant secretary. You know, hey, let her just take care of business. Let doge go in. Let, you know, let's disassemble this thing right away. Anyway, our prayers are that they get it done. I don't mean to be critical, but I'm just, when I see this, Penny Schwinn, go look at her history. She's bad news bears, people. I'm telling you right now. So Trump, I don't know if you got duped into that one or what's going on. But I'm telling you right now, the deep state is starting to swamp you.
[00:48:21] You got off to a great start and you're doing some real, real good things. But man, this deep state's nothing to be, I mean, it's like tempting Satan almost. It's nothing to be lighthearted about or whatever else. All right. Make no sense is the next headline. Trump orders end to production of, quote, new pennies. Joe Kovacs over at WND.com with this piece. Good for Joe and the team over there. World Net Daily is a great news organization. Joe's a great friend.
[00:48:49] According to the U.S. Mint, the cost of producing a single penny was nearly 3.7 cents in fiscal year, 2024. And believe it or not, listen, the coins have cost above face value to produce for over 19 years. I know this is hard to even discuss. Think about that.
[00:49:17] According to the U.S. Mint, the cost of producing a single penny was nearly 3.7 cents and has been costing more to produce than it's worth for 19 years. If that isn't a simple reality of what's broken in America, I don't know what is. Or a better example. You're literally creating the penny. It costs 3.7 cents to create one. Why would you ever create one of those at all?
[00:49:46] Why would you ever create a denomination of money that's below its costs to even produce to put into circulation? It makes no sense whatsoever. Shut it down. Don't make new pay. Well, Donald's right about this. It's just one of the gazillion things he's right about, ladies and gentlemen. Believe it or not, before 1962, pennies were composed of copper. Yeah, that was when you could afford copper there.
[00:50:13] Now they make them up with, I guess, mostly of zinc with a little bit of copper plating, they say. And I go, what the heck? Yeah, that's what we're talking about. It is insane, the waste that we have in government. And what's even more insane than the waste, in my opinion? Listen carefully.
[00:50:37] What's even worse than the waste that I see is you've literally got Democrats battling against this. What, I guess, because it's the Republicans that are doing it? And they're going to oppose it unless they do it their way, the Democrat way? So it's not really an issue about spending or the proper rule of government. We're going to do it the Republican and the Democrat way is all, right? That's no good.
[00:51:06] That's no good at all. We have got to stand together and say common sense needs to prevail here. And we don't need the Democrats taking on the Republicans on this. What we need is people who believe in the country. Jettison the good old boy network. What we need is people who are above partisan politics, right? That's what we need. We need people to take a step back and go, listen, this is insanity. And we're not going to tolerate it anymore. We're not doing that.
[00:51:35] We're going to have accountability. We're going to reject all these clowns that have clearances that shouldn't. We're going to quit printing the penny. We're going to go ahead and shut down USAID. We're going to quit this wasteful spending. We're going to shut down Planned Parenthood. I mean, those are the things that you've got to get done. And the sooner the better. This isn't something that we can just play games with. You've literally got.
[00:52:03] But in my opinion, ladies and gentlemen, you've literally got about a year because then they start running for the election and it'll be campaign discussions. Some say Trump's got two years. I don't think he's got that much time. I think Steve Stockman, former congressman, spot on. You've got about a year. And I'm telling you right now, and I appreciate this. But what Joe's or what Donald Trump's being challenged with is all these judges that are absolutely out of their lane. Activists from the bench. They need to be absolutely impeached.
[00:52:33] They need to be stopped. You can say, well, Sam, Donald Trump has taken extra power to, you know what? Each president's always taken extra power. It's up to Congress and the courts to rein him in. Well, Sam, the courts are reigning him in. They're not reigning him in logically or appropriately, though. Okay, they're just basically activists from the bench. Okay, when Trump does something wrong, you can rein him in. Well, Sam, it is wrong. No, it's not. The president has the right to determine what agency gets audited.
[00:53:02] He is the chief executive of the land. Duly elected to be so. Not even the Democrats are saying there was election fraud this last time. I still personally think there was. The Republicans just got better at the election fraud than the Democrats this time. That's all that happened. Nevertheless, I digress, except to say we've got to take this seriously. We cannot wait any longer. We don't have the opportunity to be polite and patient. We better get it done now.
[00:53:28] Or if you're not very careful, I'm telling you right now, the quicksand of the deep state is serious. It will swallow you up. And even though Trump got off to an incredible fast start, it reminds me of somebody who launches across the lake. You know, they get a running start. And, hey, they go pretty far and it looks good. But if you're not very careful, pretty soon you'll be bogging down. You'll be stamping your feet. And if you're not careful, you'll break through the ice and the swamp will just eat you up. You'll drown.
[00:53:57] We have got to back President Trump now. I don't think Trump's perfect, but he's on to some great things and we've got to help him. We, the people, have got to get off the sidelines and get in the game. It's a culture war. It's a morality war. It's a constitutional war for the hearts and minds of good people everywhere. I pray we can follow the Prince of Peace and avoid war. Time will tell. God save the Republic. Thanks so much.
