The denial was intense regarding Covid-19’s origins. When the idea of a lab leak in China was put forth, it was vehemently denied. Now, a new CIA assessment is stating that very scenario.
[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West. You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. All right, back with you live, ladies and gentlemen. Sam Bushman on your radio, hard-hitting news the network refused to use continues. This is Hour 2 of 2, the goal always to protect life, liberty, and property, to promote God, family, and country. This is the broadcast for January the 29th, the year of our Lord, 2025.
[00:00:40] Rejecting revolution, the lessons of Jesus' revolution, then we're in. Using the supreme law of the land, the Constitution for the United States of America, and the checks and balances, one of the solutions we find at our fingertips. When it comes to God, a relationship with God matters. When it comes to family, the God-ordained traditional family is the key. When it comes to the country, it's the supreme law of the land. Yeah. Anyway, Caroline Levitt doing a phenomenal job. The new media takes center stage. You want to become part of it?
[00:01:08] Whitehouse.gov slash new media. Boy, is that an interesting term they're using on that, huh? Wonder if I had anything to do with it. Just curious. Anyway. I guess Tom Holman met with hundreds of angel mom and dads who had to bury their children because they were killed by illegal alien thugs. Well, anyway, Tom Holman continues. I finished last hour talking about it, but I wanted to give you a little bit more. Trump issues, quote, big, beautiful quotas.
[00:01:37] President Donald Trump has ordered ICE officials to arrest at least 1,875 illegal aliens a day as part of his plans to squelch illegal border crossings. Western Journal dot com with this piece, 1,875 a day.
[00:02:07] No, I'm sorry. Yeah, at least 1,875. I'm sorry. There's a comma there. It's 1,875, right? 1,875. Now, let me do this and kind of put this in perspective a little bit. 1,875 times 30. 56,000 a month. Let's go. Right?
[00:02:34] 56,000 a month times 12. 672,000, something like that. I don't know if that's enough. I think it's a great start. I don't know that it's enough. Right? Right? But again, in Trump's defense, this is the point. Listen carefully to me, people.
[00:03:03] I know Tom Holman and Donald Trump have a very hardcore focus on this. I think they have to. Because remember, wherever you start, you're going to have to back off some from your promise. You can't get 100% of what you want. The nation's too divided. There's too many enemies of liberty. However, if you start hardcore and then you back off slightly, you know, in his four-year presidency, if he gets rid of, say, three or four million people that are the hardened criminals. And then we work on a way forward.
[00:03:34] And this is where I believe that I've been providing a lot of clear guidance on the immigrants and what to do with them. You know what? They are illegal aliens. Donald Trump, Tom Holman, Caroline Leavitt are absolutely right. When they come into the United States illegal, they are illegal. It is a crime. And it is a federal crime. They're right 100% on that.
[00:03:59] But we can get rid of the most hardened criminals among us, the rapists, the drug offenders, the cartels, the traffickers, the gangbangers. Okay, we can get rid of all those, two, three, four, five million people over the four-year period that we've got and show marked tremendous progress. We can use military planes to fly them. We can force other countries to take them and say, look, they're your criminals, not ours. And we must do that.
[00:04:27] At the same time on the other side of the discussion, we don't have to grant amnesty to anybody. And we should not. Ronald Reagan did that, proving it was an absolute disaster mistake. Absolute huge disaster mistake. Don't do that. No amnesty, period. But we can say if you are a DACA child that came here when you're four years old and you don't know any better, you weren't responsible for the illegal act of coming here.
[00:04:54] And now you've grown up and you're 23 years old and you work and you're an illegal alien. Because, hey, that's all you've known. You don't even know your country of Puerto Rico or not Puerto Rico. That's a bad example because they're part of America. Panama. No, no, no. Let's just say Nicaragua or Mexico or whatever, right? El Salvador. You may not be a bad person.
[00:05:22] But you still are in violation of our laws. And we cannot accept that. So we could say something like this. How long have you been in the country illegally? How many crimes have you committed? Oh, you've been in the country for 25 years illegally and you've committed no crimes? Well, maybe we come back and say we're going to fine you $5,000 a year for your illegality. $5,000 times 25 years. What's that?
[00:05:52] $125,000. You now owe the federal government $125,000. Now, we can mitigate that because we know most of you can't pay $125,000. You don't have the money. We get it. No problem. You still owe that debt, though. Now, you need to start paying on that debt like you would a student loan or like you would if you owed IRS income tax. You say, Sam, what happens if they miss a payment? We can get to that. But understand, that's what happens to me.
[00:06:20] If I owe the IRS money and I can't pay it immediately, they say, Sam, we'll create a payment plan for you. As long as you pay, you're okay. And if you don't, you're in serious trouble. And we can mitigate that number and say, hey, if you paid on that plan for 10 years, we can wipe away a chunk of it for good behavior. We don't have to make you pay all of it back. But we need strong, stick, carrot incentives to say you will not come into this country illegally.
[00:06:49] If you do, there will be harsh penalties. So let's say that you owe the $125,000 in the example that I'm giving. We can also come back and say, do you have an employer that will vouch for you in this country? And if your employer vouches for you, we can say to the employer, for every $1,000 you pay off, we'll do forgive matching funds. So let's say that an illegal alien owes $125,000 because they're a DACA and they've been in the country for a long time.
[00:07:18] If the business pays $25,000 for that person, we can forgive $50,000 worth of debt. Employers better be pretty confident in their employees then, huh? That's a pretty big character reference. With money backing it, putting your money where your mouth is kind of reference, right? We can also do things like this. Hey, you owe $125,000.
[00:07:43] If you self-deport, you've skipped the line for 25 years and had a pretty dang good life as a result of it. But if you go ahead and self-deport and get in line and try to come to America, we will work on this repentance idea that you're doing your best to make your wrongs right. And we will take your $125,000 and just because you self-deported and got in line, we will consider your application.
[00:08:11] And we will expedite your application. And we will forgive a lot of that debt to maybe you come into the United States again and you owe $50,000, not $125,000 anymore. We can use all kinds of incentives to make this right and to be merciful and kind, but at the same time have serious justice and at the same time uphold our laws. Amnesty for no one. You've been in the country three years. You've committed no crimes. Fine. You're going to be deported.
[00:08:43] You haven't built a whole life here yet. You might have family members here. They can self-deport with you. We're not dividing families. They're free to join you if they want to. But you're going to leave and you're going to get in line. Okay. We can create sliding scales. We can also do that as we extract ourselves from the Social Security program. For Sam Bushman, who's 57 years old, I'm going to be 58 this year. You're a couple of years away from Social Security. You're going to get most of what you were supposed to get.
[00:09:11] Those who are already on Social Security, you're going to get all that you've got. We're going to ramp it down. Everybody's going to suffer some. If you're in your 20s or below 30, we're going to basically give you a tiny payout for what you might have paid and you're off the plan. And we can wind our way out of these programs fairly easily. In fact, we're doing that. Yes, we are. You say, Sam, what are you talking about?
[00:09:34] Well, looks like 2 million federal workers are being offered a deal just like what I'm talking about. 2 million federal workers being offered a deal like what I'm talking about. What is it? It's payouts to resign. Payouts to resign. They're offering it to 2 million government employees right now.
[00:09:58] The Trump administration will offer to pay eligible federal workers through the end of September. Provided that they hand in their resignation by February the 6th. So you don't got a lot of time now, do you? No, you don't. You don't have a lot of time. You got to decide by February the 6th and turn it in. But think about that kind of a severance.
[00:10:28] If you put it in by February the 6th, you have March, April, May, June, July, August, September. You've literally got like a seven-month severance. I don't know how much that equates to in dollars for these people because I don't know how much they all get paid. But it's got to be thousands of dollars. I mean, if you got paid five grand a month, it's 35 grand at a minimum. Hang tight. I've got more.

[00:13:04] All right, back with you live, ladies and gentlemen, Sam Bushman on your radio. We're talking about this incredible opportunity that President Trump has offered these government employees. See, the battle is a lot of them are being called into the office, and a lot of them don't want to go to the office. I get it. I wouldn't go into the office either. But they're doing it partly because they want to go ahead and reduce the number of government employees we've got because, man, it's too big of an expense. It's going to save billions of dollars, right?
[00:13:29] So 2 million federal workers being offered payouts to, quote, resign. The stipend is huge. People are getting like a seven-month severance or something like that. But you've got to decide by Feb 6th. So let's see. What day is February the 6th? Liz, can you look that up real quick? What day is February the 6th? The 29th today is Wednesday. The 31st is Friday.
[00:13:59] The 1st is Saturday. What is it? All right, Thursday. So you've got a week from today basically, right? No, a week from tomorrow. So you've got eight days. Eight days to decide. But you've got to turn that bad boy in. Who wouldn't do it? If you don't want to work in the office, if you'd love an opportunity to be in the private sector, if you'd love an opportunity to start a small business. I know that small businesses were under the gun, under the Biden administration. But you have a lot more freedom under the Trump administration.
[00:14:28] I can promise you that. Okay, start a small business. You've got an incredible severance. I mean, if you only make five grand a month, your severance will be like 35 grand of cash. If, on the other hand, you make more like, you know, 10 grand a month, just say working for the government, you're going to get 70 grand cash. I don't know. Just say the average number is 50. Fine. 50 grand, you can start a business. You can retire. You can go get a job in the private sector. You could possibly even find another job in government that suits your needs better.
[00:14:58] All kinds of opportunities. I think it's a very generous program. The reason I'm spending so much time on this is because it's huge, and I commend President Trump for it. And I also say this. You know what? What an opportunity to decrease government costs. And best of all, you know, hey, this is a plan that could work for all kinds of people. What about saying you want to get off the Social Security system?
[00:15:28] You're 21 years old, 25 years old, 30 years old, 40 years old, 50 years old. We'll give you a little bit of a stipend based on how long you've been paying in. We'll create a formula. And if you want to walk away, we'll give you a chunk of change, and you can walk away. The less you paid in, of course, the less you'll get. But we'll let you out of this system. These are systems that people thought could never be unwound, but absolutely can under this plan. It doesn't crash the plane. It literally brings the plane in for a safe landing. We've got to do it.
[00:15:57] Get rid of the income tax. Put tariffs in place. Let these huge government employee counts reduce. Anyway, they say 10% plus will probably be taking the plan. That's 200,000 people. 200,000 people at least, I think, right? 200,000 people times, say, 50 grand a year each.
[00:16:26] Or do they get paid more? I mean, that's $10 billion, people. You can say, well, that's a drop in the bucket, Sam. I know. But what if you do that times 30 programs? They're talking about real money, baby. Real money. Right? Anyway, I commend Donald Trump for this. What a great, innovative leadership idea. Don't know if Elon Musk and Doge came up with it or President Trump himself came up with it or a combination thereof, but it's brilliant, and I support it 1,000%. Let's go.
[00:16:58] It's tremendous. And that's exactly why I'm saying back to the new media takes center stage, Caroline Leavitt and crew. You don't need to be in that room. We can do a virtual room, and you can get literally all kinds of educated people to report the news in fair ways. Even when somebody like me disagrees with President Trump on a point, I have every right to disagree. But I can do so agreeably. I don't have to be kind. Let's just take the executive orders to make the point. I'm not really a fan of executive orders.
[00:17:27] I don't think they're good for the country. I think they give the president too much power. But I'm not going to melt down over that. I'm not going to be hostile and hate-filled. I can explain my reasoning in the court of public opinion. Hopefully my views gain greater relevance. But there's a lot that I support. Let me give you another example to make my point. Trump says, quote, Microsoft is eyeing TikTok purchase.
[00:17:56] Microsoft is eyeing TikTok purchase. Now see, to me, that's a disaster. Do you want the communist Chinese owning TikTok? Or do you want the government in bed with Bill Gates to own and run and control TikTok? Who are you more afraid of, Bill Gates and the government? Or the communist Chinese? Now here's my personal opinion.
[00:18:26] I'm not near as afraid of the government under a Donald Trump administration as I was. And I still am under a Biden clown show administration. So you got to think about the repercussions of these kind of decisions. Just imagine if Bill Gates gets in bed with Kamala Harris. Oh, I pray not literally. I'm just saying. Okay. And they have this agenda. A Microsoft, you know, and TikTok.
[00:18:50] Now you got Bill Gates, a globalist, vaccine pusher, abortion mill promoter. Right? Experiment on people around the world guy. In bed with the president of the United States, Kamala Harris, for example. And now TikTok would be, in my opinion, more dangerous under that kind of a regime than it would be under the communist Chinese. Right? So we need to be very careful what we wish for.
[00:19:19] However, I'm not for the government owning TikTok in the first place. I don't think the government should have authority in any way to own the media. Okay? We're trying to get rid of the government owning the media right this very second. Right? Think about PBS. Public broadcasting. Funded by your tax dollars.
[00:19:49] See, I have to pay my employees and fund PBS with my tax dollars. Right? I got to fund my own competition. It's a disgrace. Think about National Public Radio on the Dole, too. Liberal is all get out. Okay? Shut those clowns down. Don't get the government more involved in the media. Please, President Trump. Please. But this is an example where when it's time for the discussions, that I'm going to advocate for what I think is best. That's the court of public opinion. That's the idea factory that America is known for.
[00:20:19] That's the brilliance of the incredible free market think tank that I'm grateful to be part of. And I'm grateful for President Trump and Caroline Leavitt and others recognizing that that's valuable. I mean, Biden didn't. Biden hated it. All right? Now, when it becomes time after they make decisions on TikTok, at some point, they may make a decision I disagree with. The government may own part of it and or they may force a sale. See, I don't think the government has authority to force a sale in the first place.
[00:20:49] You say, well, Sam, Congress passed a law. It's the law. Don't you know? No, I don't know. Congress doesn't have authority to pass any law they want to. That's the problem. What if Congress decided they were like King Herod and they're like, hey, let's kill all babies under two years old. Two years and under. Kill them all. Like a King Herod thug officer. They can't pass a law like that. That's criminal. National Company, the Communist Chinese in bed with their own government.
[00:21:17] Why would we say, wow, we hate that TikTok's in bed with the Communist Chinese government. Let's put TikTok in bed with our own government. As if our government's better if we promote those communist types, fascist type principles. No. But I also don't trust anybody that would buy it. I mean, who's going to buy TikTok? Who has the wherewithal to buy it? Unless you basically say, Sam, it's a dollar and we're going to give it to Sam Bushman. I'm joking. I don't think they should give it to Sam Bushman. I'm just making a joke.
[00:21:48] I don't like the president having the authority to say it could be worth a dollar if we just set it down or it could be worth a trillion dollars based on, wow, we give it the kudos and start a bidding war for it. Everything else. I don't want Elon Musk owning it. He's already got his own. Well, who's the next client? Oh, Bill Gates is the only one left out of the rich club owning their own media. See, I don't want them to buy that at all. And forget TikTok for a minute. TikTok's only the tip of the iceberg. What about DeepSeek?
[00:22:18] You know what DeepSeek even is, folks? Trump on DeepSeek. Chinese AI app is a, quote, wake up call. President says American companies need to be coming up with faster, cheaper AI. AI, newser.com. I agree 100% with Trump. The Americans do need to double down and do better. They say DeepSeek knows all.
[00:22:48] But don't ask about Tiananmen Square. Yeah. Yeah. Don't ask about Tiananmen Square. The app out of China censors its answers on topics dicey to the regime. Wow. Isn't that what Biden was doing for the longest time, too, on all our social media channels? So don't you dare give this over to government.
[00:23:14] You know, the Trump administration might seem fine, especially if you're a Trumper. But you got to look at it as turnabout's fair play. What happens when, I don't know how long, but you get somebody like a Barack Obama, a Bill Clinton, a Joe Biden, a Jimmy Carter? Well, I can keep going, right? What happens when you get those kind of clowns in office?
[00:23:39] They will absolutely abuse that government, quote, half ownership of TikTok. And I believe DeepSeek, you know, they want you to believe that, oh, man, DeepSeek has been able to decrease the costs. They've been able to absolutely set the stage for AI to be way cheaper, way better, way faster, way smarter, way, and Americans are getting left behind. That's a lie narrative. Have they found a way to do it cheaper? Maybe.
[00:24:08] I don't even know that that's a fact yet. It's been claimed, but I don't know if it's a fact. And even if it is true, how long will it be until we come up with that? So we're a couple of days, weeks, months, even a year or two behind? Who cares? Maybe we'll leapfrog and be ahead of the communist Chinese, too. In fact, maybe we can infiltrate them and steal their technology like they do to us all the time.
[00:25:10] Wow. We've always been a family that has been involved in public service, and I look forward to continuing that tradition. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., before the Senate Finance Committee, being questioned on a range of issues, including allegations that he is anti-vaccine, something Kennedy insists he is not. His views on abortion have also drawn fire from some in pro-life circles. Today, the first of two days of hearings for Kennedy. Tomorrow, he goes before a different Senate panel.
[00:25:37] The Biden White House didn't really seem to know what was going on, but from the Trump White House, we're getting some answers about the swarm of drones spotted repeatedly late last year. The drones that were flying over New Jersey in large numbers were authorized to be flown by the FAA for research and various other reasons. What kind of research? What other reasons? We don't know, but quoting Trump Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt, this was not the enemy.
[00:26:04] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been invited to the White House next week. The visit comes as the United States is pressuring Israel and Amos to continue a ceasefire that has paused the 15-month war in Gaza. The meeting would be a chance for Netanyahu to remind the world of long support he's received from Trump over the years. Netanyahu likely to encourage Trump not to hold up weapons deliveries the way the Biden administration did. Correspondent John Scott.

Only God knows all, folks. Don't fall for that dishonest lie straight from the pit of hell. Don't do that.
[00:31:39] Anyway, there's a lot of good news happening. And we've got to pray for this. You've got to call your congressman, call your senators, and advocate on Capitol Hill. And you've got to do it now. 202-225-3121 is where you call. Ask for your senator and say, we need your help. That's 202-225-3121. Cash Patel. His confirmation hearing is expected to kick off tomorrow.
[00:32:07] It's scheduled for Thursday. And I believe Cash Patel is a great person. I have endorsed Cash Patel personally, publicly, in writing, in a press release sent to thousands of media. Former Sheriff Richard Mack has also endorsed Cash Patel. And we're not doing it because Cash is perfect. He's not perfect. But we're doing it because we believe that Cash Patel is honest.
[00:32:33] We believe that Cash Patel will absolutely stick with President Trump and do what he's promised to do. Which is defang the criminal FBI. Okay? I've told you the IRS has become judge, jury, and executioner. And that's all true. Shut it down, Donald. First real proposal to officially shut down the IRS. Amen. Bring it. Let's do it. But also, let's shut down the criminal FBI.
[00:33:04] Okay? They've become judge, jury, and executioner. I mean, anybody who's a whistleblower for the FBI that deserves protection is getting crushed. It's wrong. It's got to stop. Well, the only person I believe that will really get it done that's sitting at the national table would be Cash Patel. Now, do I think that there's other people that could do it? Yes. I think I could. I think Richard Sheriff, former Sheriff Richard Mack could. I think there's plenty of sheriffs that could. Darleaf is one of them. Michigan Sheriff.
[00:33:33] Bob Songer, Washington Sheriff, is another. Scott Williams, Texas Sheriff, is another. Right? I believe there's a lot going on, a lot that could be done. Okay? Jerry Sheridan, another great constitutional sheriff, is another that could get it done, I'm sure. But Cash Patel is sitting on the national stage with more experience than all of us. And all we've got to do is get him nominated or get him approved by the Senate.
[00:34:02] It's going to be a lot of work, but we need to get it done. Our effort starts now. Back Cash Patel. Like I say, it doesn't matter if he's perfect or not. He's the only one on the national stage that will do good. And I believe he's for real. So our prayers are with Cash Patel. Our public written endorsement with Cash Patel. Even our buddy Steve Friend, an FBI whistleblower. Dear guy, been wronged by the FBI. He's backing Cash Patel. So am I. Encourage you to do the same.
[00:34:31] Steve Bannon backing Cash Patel, by the way. And, you know, Steve Bannon and I just had a little blip. He didn't want to hang out with me at an event. I don't know why. Doesn't matter. I think Steve Bannon's a great guy. And I pray for him. And he already went to jail for one of his situations.
[00:34:51] And by the way, by the way, I think that the administration needs to work on giving people like Steve Bannon a stipend for their stint in jail. Because it's absolutely not fair in this two-tiered justice system. Why did Steve Bannon go to jail? But some of the other clowns on the Democrat side that didn't go testify either. They're not in jail. So we either put the other clowns in jail or give Steve some reparations for the time that he served that was wrong.
[00:35:21] Take an Ammon Bundy. Another great example. Pardon Ammon Bundy 100% Donald Trump. He's a political prisoner and deserves your pardon. What did he do? He stood up against the criminal enterprise in the health care system. He stood against a hospital that tried to take a baby away from a family, Department of Family Services, whatever. Okay, we need to clear these prisoners. Anyway, I digress about Steve Bannon except to say he's been wronged on one count.
[00:35:50] Now, the other idea is, oh, he raised a bunch of money for the border wall. Because Donald couldn't get the money for the border wall from government because government was too criminal and wanted to promote illegal activity. Well, shame on them for not backing the president the first go-round in Trump 45. So now we've got to do it in Trump 47. Well, Steve Bannon now they say, oh, he raised money for the wall and he betrayed everybody and took the money. I think that it's a witch hunt against Steve Bannon.
[00:36:20] And I think they're wrongly applying this. How do I know? Why do I think that? Well, maybe because the players involved precede the discussion. Steve Bannon calls fraud case vindictive and wants it dismissed. I want it dismissed too. It's a clown show. The case is being prosecuted by none other than Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.
[00:36:50] Oh, do you see the same characters involved? Yeah, Alvin Bragg's office. And so all I can tell you is I don't have any confidence in Alvin Bragg. In fact, we need to prosecute Alvin Bragg to the full extent of the law. Who does this guy think he is? He thinks he's above the law. And so do some of these judges. Impeach these clowns. Reject these DAs. Now, do I think Steve Bannon is perfect? I don't. But I know this.
[00:37:18] If you're going to say to me, Sam, who do you pick? Steve Bannon or Alvin Bragg? I'd pick Bannon in two seconds. Alvin Bragg is a clown criminal thug. I believe the only reason they're going after Steve Bannon is because they hate Donald Trump. And Steve Bannon has been loyal to President Donald J. Trump. So our prayers are with Steve Bannon. I hope it gets dismissed. And I hope Kash Patel can help with that, too. All right.
[00:37:47] This is a weird story, but I want to bring it to you anyway. It's just so weird. California Secretary of State sets the stage for a vote on leftist secession plan from the United States following Trump's first week in office. Joseph McKinnon over at TheBlaze.com with this piece. It is just shocking how to respond to this.
[00:38:15] So the liberals have mocked conservatives and mocked Southern pride and mocked the people of Northern California and Oregon and Washington that want to secede from their states and join Idaho. They call it the Idaho Project, right? Or, you know, they've done this in Colorado. Now the liberals are like, oh, my gosh, Donald's crazy. We've got to secede from the union. Now, it's not likely to happen. Even if they get a vote to pass it, it's not likely to happen.
[00:38:47] But it's interesting how they criticize many of us. And by the way, I'm not one of them. I'm not a guy that believes in secession. Do I believe it's a constitutional reality that we could succeed or secede? Yes, I do. Because I believe if you can organize something and join something, you can certainly leave. It ain't the Hotel of California, baby. It's not you can check in anytime you like, but you can never leave, right? It isn't like that. So I believe states have the right to leave the union. I just don't believe that they should.
[00:39:17] I don't believe that that's the answer. I don't believe that's the solution. I believe there are much better solutions. I don't even like an Article V convention. All those are very extreme solutions. And I think that you can't support the Constitution if you're leaving the Constitutional Republic. But it's interesting to me how it's supposed to be the white supremacists, Southern whatever guys that are the ones that want to secede.
[00:39:47] Now you've got California liberals wanting to secede from the union, so much so that the California Secretary of State is pushing for it, setting the stage for a vote on, quote, leftist secession from the U.S. because they don't like Donald? I got news for you California clowns. Listen to me. Donald Trump won the election.
[00:40:13] You criticize us for saying the 2020 election was a fraud and was rigged, and it was. But now you act like, well, we're going to secede because we don't like who won. We're not going to challenge the peaceful transfer of power like January the 6th because we don't want to be beat and shut down. So we'll just try to secede later. 40 million people in California. How many would even support secession?
[00:40:41] How likely is secession even to work? It's a disgrace. There's a better plan than secession. And the best plan is for us to all understand the Constitution and uphold it as the supreme law of the land. Hang tight. Experience the untamed spirit of the American West with Range Magazine. [00:43:07] All kinds of hard-hitting talk at your fingertips, ladies and gentlemen. There's so much to cover, so little time. I'll tell you that right now. But Mike Lee is in the news. And Senator Mike Lee has a lot to say that I think is great news. All right? Mike Lee is talking about letters of mark and reprisal. He's doing so on X and all kinds of other places.
[00:43:36] He's been interviewed on TV shows all over the weekend and everything else. And he's basically saying, listen, these drug cartels have a lot of military capability and a lot of super high-powered weaponry and communications. And I mean, the list goes on and on and on, right? He's basically saying there's constitutional ways to fight, to deal with this. And boy, howdy, is he correct.
[00:44:04] Here is Senator Mike Lee making the point. You have a novel approach. It's based on the Constitution with the letters of mark and reprisal. Explain to us how you think the Constitution enables people to actually help solve this problem for America. The Constitution in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 10 gives Congress the power to issue letters of mark and reprisal. Those are basically hall passes, if you will, issued by Congress that allows the person bearing it
[00:44:32] to engage in acts of piracy on the high seas with the understanding that any loot they're able to bring back, loot that not contraband can be liquidated, sold, could then result in a windfall in a prize award of up to half the value of what they bring back into the United States. Look, these were used for centuries by sovereign nations, and they could be used again, particularly whereas here we've got these organizations operating inside of our southern neighbor country, Mexico,
[00:45:03] and wreaking havoc not only on that country, but also on the United States. Privateers, as they're called. Private actors could go in and try to deprive them of some of their assets, things like gold, cash, whatever else they might use as a transfer of value in a substitution of cash, any equipment that might be valuable if they can bring it back into the United States. If they make it back, they can keep half of the proceeds from that. That's an approach that we ought to consider.
[00:45:32] It's an old approach, but for us it would be new because it hasn't happened in a long time. Just to follow up on this, Senator, somebody like an Eric Prince and Blackwater could go in, go after the Sinaloa cartel, seize those assets and bring it back to the United States, and they get to keep half the loot? Yes, that is exactly right. If they could go in there, they could do that. And Eric Prince and Blackwater, and there are many others out there, could do these things.
[00:45:58] This is an approach that would allow us to avoid putting any U.S. boots on the ground. The U.S. government doesn't have any liability with it. They just do this with the understanding that if they can make it back into the United States safely, then they get to keep half the proceeds. Wow. What a bold, noble, constitutional-solutions-oriented opportunity, huh? Now, I'm not going to go do it. I'm not the guy that wants to flirt with danger. It's not me.
[00:46:26] But there are guys that are willing to do it. There are guys that are great at doing it. And all I can tell you is Mike Lee is right. Let's use mark and reprisal, letters of mark and reprisal, to get this done. Let's stop these thug cartels and let's do it now. And in my opinion, anybody that opposes this is opposing the supreme law of the land and the solutions our founding fathers understood and put in place to protect America.
[00:46:53] So when you guys say the Constitution doesn't work, it's because you don't understand the Constitution. That's the problem. How many people even knew about letters of mark and reprisal? How many people knew that you could bring back and split the loot with the government? You say, well, why would the government get it? Well, what do you do with it? It's international. It's controlled by the drug thugs. You say, well, what about due process? We don't do due process in international waters. We don't do due process when you're under mark and reprisal. It's wartime, if you will.
[00:47:22] Now you say, well, wait a minute, Sam. Mark and reprisal is not wartime. I know. But it's designed to prevent wartime. You literally have thugs on our border, criminal gang thugs, cartels shooting at U.S. Border Patrol right now. Tom Holman saying it's going to get a lot more violent before we know it. So be ready. Deal with that. Anyway, I commend Mike Lee. Commend him. Right? He's right as rain.
[00:47:52] All right. Google Maps, they say, will start showing Gulf of America for users in the United States. It'll say Gulf of Mexico, if you're in Mexico, by the way. That's interesting. But Google says we follow the guidance of the president and the laws of the United States. Amen. You know, whether you believe it should be called Gulf of Mexico or Gulf of America, hey, Google's going to show Gulf of the U.S. I like it. Gulf of America in the U.S. They say it's now 89 seconds to midnight. Did you see this?
[00:48:22] The doomsday clock moves closer to midnight. Every second that it moves closer increases the probability of global disaster, writes Rob Quinn. Rob's right. We need to fight that. How do we back away from, quote, doomsday? Answer, use the supreme law of the land and the Constitution at a government level. Double down on the God-ordained traditional family at the family level.
[00:48:51] Male and female credited to them. Donald's off to a great start with his executive order saying sex is just two, male and female. And then it's turning to God Almighty from a family point of view. After all, the fundamental unit of society are families. And then on the individual level, turning to God and repenting. And he promises us he'll heal our land and protect us. So if you want to back away from that doomsday clock moving closer to midnight, turn to God, family, and country, those are the answers.
[00:49:20] Now, Senator Tom Cotton is in the news. Justifiably so. And Senator Tom Cotton demands, quote, most important thing is to make China pay for unleashing COVID. They say unleashing a plague. Elizabeth Delaney over at WND.com with that piece.
[00:49:49] The denial was intense regarding COVID-19 origins. When the idea of a lab leak in China was put forth, it was laughed at, mocked, considered a conspiracy theory, and vehemently denied. Now, a new CIA assessment is stating that that is the very scenario that is most likely.
[00:50:16] Now, we told you that first day. But we went further back in the day and said not only was it from Communist China, not only was it an intentional lab leak, they say it was a mistake. I say it was intentionally a lab release.
[00:50:35] But if we want to be true and honest and accurate, if we want the new media taking center stage with true news, not fake news, then you've got to say, look, the United States government was involved in the creation of COVID. The communists might have released it. Who released it? We don't know.
[00:50:54] But we know the United States, in the United States, helped with the precursors of weaponizing COVID-19. And so, yes, the communist Chinese are guilty. I don't believe it was an accidental lab leak. I believe it was intentional. And I believe the United States was involved in it, too, and they must take part of the blame.
[00:51:19] They helped create this problem. The United States, yes, indeed. What is it? South Carolina or North Carolina, Fort Dredge, wherever it was, was involved, right? We've got to own that, folks. We really do. Now, why do I say it wasn't an accidental leak? It was an intentional leak. Let me explain why. Because everything that was done to try to mitigate, that was done wrong.
[00:51:47] You couldn't have been more hostile if you tried. We bought a ton of ventilators, literally took over government business in doing so. Shouldn't have done it. It was worthless. We basically said ivermectin was horse poop, even though it got many, many people well and saved many people's lives, including mine. But the government said, oh, it's horse poop. It's horrible. Can't get it. Don't use it. Why would they do that? If it was literally a lab leak, you would think they would do everything in their power to find.
[00:52:15] Why is Pierre Corrie, good, honest, moral doctor, not political at all, testified before Congress and said, hey, ivermectin works. There's a protocol we're building that can save lives. The government literally rejected it. Why are we protecting the vaccine companies? Why? Okay. So everything you look at, the nurse protocols that they used, the rendesivir, all the protocols that they used. They used literally promoted death.
[00:52:45] They weren't solutions oriented. Anybody who tried to stand up against it got shut down so hard it wasn't even funny. We shut down schools and destroyed people's educations. We basically increased the sales of alcohol. So people got, you know, more addicted to alcohol and more abuse occurred from alcoholics. And I mean, I can go on and on and on with the disaster that was created. We didn't do that because, golly, the communist Chinese leaked a bad thing.
[00:53:15] We did it because that was part of somebody's agenda. Where do you pin the tail on the donkey? Who's to blame for this exactly? I don't know. But I know the United States was involved in creating it. And Fauci's guilty of sin. And we need to prosecute criminal Fauci to the fullest extent of the law. You say, well, Sammy's been pardoned. We can't. Put that clown on the stand. Make him testify against everybody else and throw everybody else under the bus or perjure himself. One of the two. Get it done and get it done now. Nuremberg-style trials need to start now.
[00:53:45] I begged the Trump administration to get on that yesterday. Let Rand Paul, great senator, lead the charge. He's already on it. All you got to do is give him some endorsement. Give him some funding and support. Let's prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. I don't know who's all guilty yet. But I know this. If it was truly an accidental lab leak, they wouldn't be attacking everybody that was trying to find solutions like good, honest professionals in the medical field like Dr. Pierre Correa and many, many, many others. They wouldn't be doing that.
