[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West. You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. All right. Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. Sam Bushman live on your radio. Hope you're all doing absolutely fantastic. This is the broadcast for January 23rd in the year of our Lord 2025.

[00:00:40] This is Hour 2 of 2 with a goal always to protect life, liberty, and property, to promote God, family, and country. To do so on your radio, in the traditions of our founding fathers. There's so much going on in the news, I can't even hardly deal with it. It's hard to even know what to focus on, ladies and gentlemen. And I believe this is part of the agenda to just overwhelm us with so much information. How much of it's really relevant is hard to even discuss or focus on.

[00:01:06] But I'll tell you this, Donald Trump is going to speak virtually to the World Economic Forum today. Yeah, UPI News with this piece. And I'm kind of thinking, why would the president speak there? Well, because he's going to get a lot of fame and international exposure as a result of that. Right? But the reason I bring this up, folks, is I just kind of go, man,

[00:01:35] I think that what he needs to do is pull out of the World Economic Forum entirely, not embrace it and speak at it. Anyway, that's just my opinion. But I'm just kind of not really understanding why we would have the president speak there. I mean, he's so busy taking care of the internal affairs of the United States. Does he have time to go speak to these clowns?

[00:02:01] Because what you do, ladies and gentlemen, when you go speak at that, you give that group authenticity or whatever you want to call it. You give them, what's the word I would use? You give them legitimacy when you go speak there, right?

[00:02:30] Anyway, I just don't really understand it. All right, I've got a couple of videos that I want to play. You're just going to be able to hear the videos, obviously, on the radio. I get it. But you can go to libertyroundtable.com and click on the videos link. All the videos will come up. And I really want to bring up what's going on with some of these videos. So I've started to do short videos now in addition to our radio show daily.

[00:03:01] And I hope it's, you know, as valuable as I think they are. But I really think they're shorts that highlight critical issues that are really worth focusing on. One of the videos, I've got 40 videos up now. I just started this, like, at the end of the year last year. I haven't even been at it very long, but I've already got 40 short videos up there. And they're promoted everywhere. I mean, they're on Rumble and they're on Twitter and they're on Facebook and they're on Instagram. I mean, they're everywhere, people.

[00:03:32] TikTok has been hard. They've been shutting me down and that's kind of weird. TikTok doesn't want to be shut down, but they want to shut me down. How does that work, people? Just curious. Anyway, Vivek Ramaswamy, I think, is a great guy. He wants to run for governor of Ohio. He's gotten a little bit of a tiff with Elon Musk from what I understand. He's out at Doge. But I'm in defense of Vivek Ramaswamy. And here's the audio for my video.

[00:04:01] The audio for me is Sam Bushman. I'm Sam Bushman with another Liberty Roundtable Live short video. Does Trump really back NH1 visas? That's the battle. The battle is raging. Some are for the visas. Others are against them.

[00:04:28] I happen to be for them just to set the record straight. Not forever, but we can't shut them down overnight. The debate rages so much that Steve Bannon goes scorched earth on Elon Musk and calls him a toddler. Wow. But now a political strategist, his name is Tim Miller, he criticized Vivek Ramaswamy because Vivek Ramaswamy said the problem with these visas is the American culture.

[00:04:58] You know, we haven't really pushed hard on advanced education in America. We let kids hang out from the time they're like 10 years old till the time they're like 30. And then we wonder why they can't get a job and why they can't do well. Other nations work so hard. They have their nose in the books all the time. And we've got to import these people to remain competitive, especially in high tech.

[00:05:23] Well, Vivek and Elon Musk realized this and they're defending the visas. And Vivek says the culture is the problem in America. When you promote Beavis and Butthead, what do you expect? Well, now they're ripping Vivek apart over this. But they're wrong. We cannot get rid of this visa program. Okay? H-1B visas. We can't get rid of it overnight.

[00:05:47] If we do, we'll have a technology dearth, an education dearth that will set America back decades. What we need to do is continue to bring these people in on these H-1B visas. We need to have them stay in America. And then we need to change our education system, STEM and others, to truly become competitive as Americans again. We've gone soft. And we need time to change the culture. Okay?

[00:06:15] Do I eventually want to get rid of these visas? Absolutely. But not overnight. That is disaster. Vivek's right. Elon Musk is right. Donald Trump on this is right. Those who want to end the program immediately have no clue what they're talking about. Just my two cents. And I'm Sam Bushman. With another Liberty Roundtable Live video short. God save the republic. All right. There's the first one, ladies and gentlemen.

[00:06:45] In defense of Vivek Ramaswamy, the truth about H-1B visas. Sam dives into the heated debate all at libertyroundtable.com. I got another short video that I want to play too. Hopefully, Liz, you stayed on that site. This one is LRT video short. The last thing we need is an internal Doge podcast.

[00:07:13] This is really a critical one, too, which relates to Doge. I hope Doge does well. I have a lot less trust in it, faith in it, with Vivek not there now. I really had confidence in Vivek, people. Anyway, I digress. Here's this second one. The last thing we need is an internal Doge podcast. Here it is. The last thing we need is an internal Doge podcast.

[00:07:41] Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. I'm Sam Bushman with another hard-hitting news the network refused to use. Liberty Roundtable Live short video. Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are planning to start a, quote, Department of Government Efficiency podcast. And they basically say, won't it be great to have a podcast?

[00:08:08] What better way to help government be accountable to bring to public the scandals and everything else that's going on? Great idea. Bad form, bad plan. Right issue, wrong solution. Ladies and gentlemen, listen to me closely. Doge is going to end in July 4th, 2026. So a little over a year and a half. And we don't want a podcast internally. It's like national public radio. The ones in charge of it.

[00:08:37] Why don't they do it differently and reject the press corps? Shut it down and say we've got an online press corps now. The new media is taking center stage. And in the new press corps, we're going to send out an email blast every morning. And the email blast is going to be with the topics, the solutions, the answers, and people that we in the media can interview. And now you're setting up a real, quote, modern day press corps. But you're doing it with the new media. And now it's going to last way beyond Doge.

[00:09:06] It'll last President Trump's whole term and beyond. Creating accountability, transparency, news the network's reviews to use. The new media is taking center stage. There's no doubt about it, ladies and gentlemen. And he who owns the media makes the rules. So remember, you want to ask Doge hard questions. That won't happen if you just hear a Doge podcast.

[00:09:26] But if you have Doge create a morning briefing with not only the stories to discuss, plus links and ways to interview many of the people in government and many of the people in Doge. Now if there's a bad policy by somebody, hey, push for us to contact and interview that person. Put pressure on them. Or if they're doing a great job, hey, let's call to interview and give them praise and support as they deserve.

[00:09:50] You need a press that is not tied to government, that is not tied to Doge. They call it an independent press for a reason. I'm Sam Bushman with another Liberty Roundtable live short video. There you have it. We just do an outro that's got the logo and everything else. But there's a lot of great images in these videos. My video producer does a phenomenal job.

[00:10:16] I put together the topics and the logic and my commentary. But then, man, my crack producer, video editor, great guy, does a phenomenal job kind of bringing the topics to life. It's different than a long-form talk show because I just take topic by topic and break them down in a meaningful way. I'm just telling you, they're a lot of fun. Check them out. LibertyRoundtable.com. LovingLiberty.net. A buddy of ours made a visit to Capitol Hill yesterday.

[00:13:08] I'm Sam Bushman. Um, man, there's just so much news. I don't know how to handle it, folks. Every time I turn around, there's just something else I want to tell you about. I've been in the news business for 30 years, and it's never... What's the term I want to use? It's never been this rich. It's never been this... Wow. There's just so, so, so much.

[00:13:32] All right, I told you our dear friend is visiting Washington, D.C., and congressmen and senators are shocked, and they're freaking out. They almost, like, think it's the January 6th of 1. They act like they're all scared and stuff. Anyway, Stuart Rhodes, our dear friend, founder and president of Oath Keepers, Yale-trained lawyer, dear friend, great guy, military vet.

[00:13:58] We ought to be thanking him for his service, not attacking him like they're doing. Nevertheless, Stuart Rhodes gets out of jail, makes visit to Capitol Hill. Stunning staff and congressmen and senators. Oath Keepers president lobbies for more pardons from Donald Trump. Bob Cronin, newser.com with this piece. Good for Stuart. I hope to get him on the show. He doesn't have a phone yet.

[00:14:28] He's working on getting his life back together and everything. Hopefully, we'll get him on soon. I just consider him a dear friend. Our buddies, Jim Hoff, over at the Gateway Pundit, did a phenomenal job, went to breakfast with him, got him out of prison, got him all squared away and started. He already went to Capitol Hill. Instead of going home and whatever, he went to Capitol Hill and said, hey, we've got to pardon other people. What an American hero Stuart Rhodes is, in my opinion. He gets out of jail, and the first thing he thinks of is other people, not himself.

[00:14:55] Not, I'm going to go home and I'm going to hang out and I'm going to just chill in my slippers and troll the Internet or whatever. He's like, hey, man, the second I'm out, I've got to go help other people. There's other people that are still in harm's way. And I've got to, man, what a selfless, great way to use his time. And now they, instead of writing the story all happy and good, newser.com, I don't know why they wrote it this way. They ought to talk about what a hero that is, a hero action.

[00:15:24] But they make it sound like everybody's melting down over it. Well, I agree Congress is. Congress staffers are. But what's wrong with Stuart Rhodes peacefully going to the congressional buildings and saying, hey, we've got friends there that need to be pardoned? I mean, is that really a bad idea? Well, no, it's a great idea. Let me tell you why. The next headline puts reality to the discussion. You know, we think, oh, man, Trump, you know.

[00:15:53] Pardon 1,500 plus people commuted the sentences of 14 more. This is tremendous. It is. Don't get me wrong. I'm not downing Trump. It's incredible. However, we need people who support Donald Trump to follow through and insist on Trump's agenda really gets accomplished. Headline says rumors have spread like wildfire.

[00:16:18] The prison officials in Washington District of Criminals are refusing to release January 6 prisoners. And Mike Lee doubles down and believes it's true. So you've got political prisoners that Donald Trump pardoned and said, hey, and committed their sentences and said, release them now.

[00:16:40] And you've got prison folks deciding that they are the law and that, no, we're not going to release these people. So, folks, Stuart Rhodes on Capitol Hill now is advocating for these people saying we've got to do something here. And I support Stuart Rhodes a thousand percent. I don't know what I can do to help more than to bring this to the airwaves and make sure you're caught up on it. This is vital. This is critical. Stuart Rhodes, what a hero. Thank you, sir. And thank you, Donald Trump. But shame on these prison. I don't know what you call them, officials.

[00:17:11] Are they prison officials? Um, you got to wonder, what are these people called? Prison officials? Okay, they're not prison officials at this point. They're acting on their own against the law. Okay, so what I would say is, Stuart Rhodes and others, you need to push for, prosecute these people that are standing in the way of the law.

[00:17:40] Trump pardoned them, ordered them released. Now you're saying, no, I decide for myself whether they get released or not or whatever. No, no, no, no, no. All right? Anyway, there you have it. The next headline, in addition to the fact that these clowns are not releasing these prisoners fast enough or trying to get in the way of their release in the first place, the next headline says this.

[00:18:02] Trump urged to continue his pardons for 21 peaceful pro-life advocates who have been persecuted by the Biden DOJ. WesternJournal.com with this. Michael Schwarz doing a great job. But you got the Biden DOJ that's persecuting pro-life folks left and right. And we're now pushing for their release, too. And I would say don't stop there.

[00:18:32] We need to change the commuted sentence for Stuart Rhodes and make it a pardon, Trump, please. What a hero. He could have gone home and just been self-absorbed and took care of himself. Man, I've been in prison for these last several years. I got to just go take care of my... No, no, no. Stuart just said, hey, man, help me get some clothes. Help me get to Capitol Hill. I'm going back because I got to help my fellow Americans that are wrongly being treated by the prison system.

[00:19:01] Prison officials, whatever. And hey, we need to then push for greater pardons for the pro-life people. But what about people like Steve Stockman and other congressmen and senators who've been railroaded and ran out of office and, you know, this kind of stuff? What about them? We have got a lot of political prisoners. What about IRS political prisoners? You know, where the IRS has become judge, jury, and executioner and literally attacked and destroyed everybody. Okay, what about them?

[00:19:29] What about Ken Cromar and many, many, many others? I just got off the phone with a lady yesterday and she's like, yeah, we're tracking 30 prisoners in Utah that are all political prisoners and need to be released. How do we get to Trump? Sam, can you help? And I said, I don't know that I can help, but I'll sure try. Well, then I talked to her and got her in touch with my buddy, Rudy. What's his last name? I'm trying to think here. There's so many people that I work with, folks. It's just hard to remember everybody's name unless I talked to him recently.

[00:19:59] Rudy Davis, yearofjubilee.com to learn more about his work, does a phenomenal job. And so I tapped her into Rudy because they're doing a phenomenal job really in focusing on a lot of these things that are going on, right? And so all I can say is I commend Stuart Rhodes for being on Capitol Hill. I commend Mike Lee, senator, for standing up and saying, hey, man, you just can't do this.

[00:20:31] And so when there's rumors about this, everybody's stuck in the rumor mill, Mike Lee comes back and says, listen, I'm convinced it's true. Prison officials are not releasing these prisoners. Let's put significant pressure and help President Trump, help Mike Lee, help Stuart Rhodes, absolutely, and others to get this done. I mean, we do have 21 peaceful pro-life protesters. There's a list. Pardon those people. Just keep the pardons going.

[00:20:59] And you also need to pardon people that are in prison over, you know, IRS or other crimes that don't really require you to be in prison. What good? Just say, take a Ken Cromar, my dear friend. Okay. He's a Christian. He's a law-abiding citizen. Okay. This guy does not need to be in prison wasting tax dollars. Let him get out and work. Right? I mean, they release all the illegals. See? All right. House Speaker Mike Johnson.

[00:21:29] I've been very critical of him as of recent. Justifiably so. And this guy tried to pass that big, huge spending bill. Tried to raise the debt ceiling. Tried to raise the debt ceiling. Knew about Joe Biden's inability to run the country. Said nothing. I mean, I've got a lot of grievance against Mike Johnson. I don't think he should be Speaker of the House. I've been very, very, very clear about that. But remember, ladies and gentlemen, I don't judge these things on individuals.

[00:21:56] For example, I'm sure that Mike Johnson's a good, nice Christian man. And if you were to sit down with him for dinner or meet his family or hit meet your family, I'm sure you'd be duly impressed. I'm sure he's a great, nice Christian man. But he doesn't understand politics based on principle. He understands politics based on putting your thumb up in the wind and see which way the wind's blowing kind of an idea. And that's my problem with him. But I've got some praise for Mike Johnson because, remember, I don't care about people.

[00:22:26] I want to be on the right side of an issue based on principle every time. And in this case, Mike Johnson's right. So when somebody's right, I don't care if it's Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Mike Johnson. I don't care who it is when they're right. I'm going to give them credit when they're wrong. I'm going to explain why they're wrong. But House Speaker Mike Johnson announces new panel to uncover the real truth behind J6.

[00:22:56] He says we'll reportedly have authority to scrutinize government FBI officials. Colin Lineberger with this piece. And so my question is, is Mike Johnson going to be working with Kash Patel on this? Because that's what you need to do, Mike, if you want to get this done. If you want to open up this panel to uncover the real truth about J6.

[00:23:27] Right. And you're going to reportedly have the ability to scrutinize FBI officials and all that kind of stuff. You need to get Kash Patel approved immediately. Immediately. I've endorsed Kash Patel and have him help you get to the bottom of this. But I got to give praise to Mike Johnson. He doesn't have to open up that panel. He could just resist and bury it. But he's not doing that. Good for him. And there's also a senator doing a good job.

[00:23:57] Just got arrested. Yeah, I'll tell you about him. I think he's a... Anyway, we'll talk about this. Hang tight. We got a lot more where this came from. Final half hour and seconds. I am Sam Bushman. This is the one and only Liberty Roundtable Live. LibertyRoundtable.com. Check out the talk shows and the live videos. I'm sorry, the short videos. Tom Homan says more than 300 violent criminal aliens have been arrested in just 24 hours. These include illegal aliens charged with murder and rape, including sexual assault and crimes against children.

[00:25:20] After winning final congressional approval, the Lake and Riley Act is on its way to President Trump's desk for his signature. The House passed an amended version of the bill that made its way through the Senate earlier this week. The 263 to 156 vote tees up a major immigration victory for President Trump. The bill, named after slain Georgia nursing student Lake and Riley, mandates that those in the country illegally be detained if they commit robberies and other crimes.

[00:25:45] 46 House Democrats broke ranks with their own party to join Republicans and vote in favor of the bill. Bob Wagner reporting. Some 50,000 homeowners in northern Los Angeles County are under evacuation warnings or orders as crews fight the rapidly spreading Hughes Fire. The weather is what's predominantly driving this fire and it's spread right now.

[00:26:06] The National Weather Service has extended the red flag warning through 10 a.m. on Friday for most of Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Maroney, who says that some headway is being made in fighting that fire. Unemployment applications ticked up modestly last week. However, the total number of Americans collecting unemployment benefits hit the highest level in more than three years.

[00:26:33] Applications for jobless benefits rose 6,000 to 223,000 for the week ending January 18th. The total number of Americans collecting benefits for the week climbed to 1.9 million. On Wall Street this morning, the Dow trading 184 points higher. The NASDAQ is down 52 points. The S&P, 6 points higher. More on these stories at townhall.com. Wesley Financial Group is not a law firm.

[00:27:01] Hi, I'm Chuck McDowell, the timeshare cancellation guy and founder of Wesley Financial Group. And I want to set the record straight. I am not an attorney. I've never wanted to be an attorney. And the truth is, I really don't even like attorneys. If I sound like an attorney or if I look like an attorney, I apologize. But what I've learned in my 15 years in the timeshare cancellation business is you don't need to be an attorney to get folks out of their timeshare.

[00:27:28] At Wesley, we've had over 40,000 families cancel their timeshare without me being an attorney. And I want to share with you how we do it. Just give my office a call and you will not talk to an attorney. And I guarantee if we take you as a client, we'll get you out of your timeshare or you'll pay nothing. Call now for your free timeshare exit info kit. Call 800-823-5544. That's 800-823-5544.

[00:27:56] 800-823-5544. Mr. President, reserving the right to object. I lived for four months in Asheville, worked at the VA hospital, still have fond feelings for Western North Carolina. But the thing is, is the reason why we won't do this in responsible ways is because the Senate voted to send all your money to Ukraine. When they voted to send $200 billion to Ukraine, I've been all over the mountains of Appalachia when I ask people, would you rather that your senators take care of you here in Asheville or here in Pikeville, here in Appalachia?

[00:28:25] Would you rather them send your money to Ukraine? I don't get anybody wanting to send a penny to Ukraine. Look, you can have all kinds of sympathy in the world for Ukraine, a hostility towards Russia being the aggressor nation, but we don't have the money. We're $2 trillion in the hole. Interest this year is going to be $1 trillion. And as far as passing this, I'm willing to let it pass today. He's going to object to passing his own bill today simply because it gets paid for. I'm willing to let the bill pass, but take some of the fluff and boondoggle subsidies from the Green New Deal and put it into here. The money's sitting here.

[00:30:24] All right, happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. Sam Bushman on your radio. Got an email from my buddy Mike Lindell. Doing a great job as always. Senator Colton Moore, who exposed and defeated corrupt district attorney Fannie Willis last year,

[00:30:48] has now been arrested by the anti-Trump Speaker of the House, John Burns. I don't know what to think about this story. It's just crazy. Mike Lindell says, ever since the election, I've been warning that the deep state isn't just going away. I can't stress enough that we need to keep fighting.

[00:31:16] Boy, do I agree with him, right? I mean, he's right as rain. That's something we really need to be aware of because, man. Anyway, we need our partners and supporters to get back in the fight. Don't just think because the election's over now that you got it done because Donald Trump's there. Yes, Donald Trump's there. That's great. But, man, we've just begun to fight is the point.

[00:31:43] It's tempting to think Trump and the administration will solve everything. But you know what? That's a huge mistake to think that, ladies and gentlemen. Our grassroots efforts, our legal team, and Lindell TV are needed as much as ever. We're going to secure our elections and return to paper ballots hand-counted. That's what Mike Lindell wants. And I'm 100% on board to help him get that done.

[00:32:15] Right? That's something really important that I really want to see us focus on. I think Mike Lindell's a great guy. And I think he's spot on on the topic, you know? I really think it's important. It is tempting to think all that stuff. But, man, you cannot let this go.

[00:32:44] The deep state's not going away. Right? You cannot think Trump is going to solve everything because he won't. Not because I'm downing Trump. Don't misunderstand me. I'm not downing Trump. I'm just saying Trump's only one guy. And his administration is just – I mean, they can't do everything. Right? They can't do everything. And we can't think that they will.

[00:33:15] There's only so much ability that they have. And in my opinion, a lot of these kinds of things or whatever you want to say are better done at the grassroots level. Right? Like, we are better off if we do them ourselves rather than have, you know, the administration do them or whatever. Right? That's kind of important to understand.

[00:33:44] We just can't depend on everybody else but ourselves. It's not reasonable. So, anyway, I commend Mike Lindell for doubling down, for keeping his organization going, for all the hits that he's taken. We really need to realize that it's something that we just cannot step out of the game.

[00:34:10] You cannot be a spectator sport and leave this to somebody else to solve. Okay? We've got to work together. We've got to get involved. This is the culture war like nobody's business. But the Speaker of the Georgia House, you know, is out of control, man. We've really got to work on this. I mean, I don't know how to stress it more than ever. But now is the time. Right?

[00:34:41] Lindell doing a great job. And it's the Lindell Offense Fund. Lindell Offense Fund. That's putting out this message. I really want to double down in support of the Lindell Offense Fund. I really like the fact that he doesn't call it the Lindell Defense Fund. It's the Offense Fund.

[00:35:09] And that's what we really need to be the focus here, people. Mike Lindell. You know, he's just really warning, really speaking out. And I commend him for it. It's something, right? All right. There you have that next piece of interest. I've got so many stories, man. It's hard to just... Wow. All right. The House of Representatives. U.S. House of Representatives has passed.

[00:35:38] The Laken Riley Act. Laken, L-A-K-E-N Riley Act. With a 263 to 156 vote. Patrick Houck over at AmericanLiberty.News brought this to us. AmericanLiberty.News. Now, listen to this, though. I want to just kind of be clear on this. 263 to 156. A bunch of Democrats voted yes for this.

[00:36:08] The Senate, believe it or not, passed the bill last week. So you say, well, what happened, Sam? Well, they had it at the House. The House approved it. Then it went to the Senate. The Senate approved it but made changes. So that means it had to go back to the House. The Senate passed the bill last week. The vote was 64 to 35. And believe it or not, 12 Democrats broke ranks. And voted in favor.

[00:36:36] It'll head to the White House for President Trump's signature next week. And this, again, is another thing I just don't understand. Why the heck do we got to get it to him to sign next week? Get it to him now. Stop the whole world. Stay up. Have somebody on the staff, you know, whoever sends this sucker. Pull the trigger, baby. You know, not literally. Figured it on this bill. Get it to Trump. Sign that sucker. All right? The Trump and the administration can't solve everything. We got to put pressure.

[00:37:04] Hey, it's great that you guys all passed this Lincoln-Riley Act. It's good. Or Lincoln-Riley Act. But you know what? Let's get it to Trump now. And hopefully this is an example of what we can do when we cross partisan lines. It isn't about Democrats. It isn't about Republicans. It's about we, the American people. And this bill is going to do a lot to stop illegal activity by criminal aliens in America.

[00:37:31] Speaking of criminal aliens, I got to give Tom Holman a big old shout out. Tom Holman says ICE arrests 300 criminal illegal aliens on Trump's first day in office. Yournews.com gets the credit for that. Yournews.com. And all I'm telling you is good for Tom Holman. Now, we need to ratchet that number up quite a bit as they get settled in.

[00:37:59] We need to start getting thousands per day gone. I get it. But I don't want to be negative on this. I want to just say, hey, 300 first day gone. Some of the most criminal, abusive, hate-filled, murderous, rapist-type people gone. And they're just getting started. So a huge shout out to Tom Holman on that. I'm telling you right now. I think it's phenomenal. It's a great start. And, you know, you've got to start somewhere. And so now people are freaking because they know that Tom's serious.

[00:38:28] He's not joking. He's for real. He's going to get this done. We need to help him in every way possible. Right? And Donald Trump is doing just that, helping Tom Holman. Listen carefully. 1.5K troops. So 1,500 troops sent to the border. They say it's just the beginning.

[00:38:48] Border Patrol ordered to quickly expel migrants under communicable diseases, saying, hey, we can't have all these people that we haven't checked out whether they have diseases or not. Rob Quinn over at News are bringing this to us. So, hey, Donald Trump putting 1,500 people. President Trump is planning to send around 10,000 troops to the border. Around 2,500 National Guardsmen.

[00:39:17] And reserve forces are already at the border, but no reserve troops yet. But we're going to get them in place. So that I'm saying Tom Holman already gets, already ejects. You know, you think about a person getting ejected from a sporting event, right? Ejected. Gone. Hey, man, he's already got 300 gone. And now we're going to put 10,000 on the border to speed this dude up. I dig it, Tom. I dig it, President Trump. What can we do to help is all I can say. Now you say, Sam, that's not a very kind view.

[00:39:47] No, I think it's the kindest view. I think it's the kindest thing we can do. The Pentagon deploys soldiers to supercharge border safety. Now that's the way you need to understand this. That's the way you need to look at this and consider this. This is bringing soldiers to supercharge the border. Safety. Patrick Halk over at AmericanLiberty.News brought this one to me too. We're talking about safety here, people.

[00:40:17] Tom's well on his way. He's getting the backing we need from Trump, from National Guard, troops. It's just the beginning. I mean, I think it's super exciting. You've got to think about that. Supercharge border safety. It isn't hate on anybody. It's just simply saying we're going to have border safety. Let's call that American safety. Hang tight. I've got more. This is Liberty Roundtable Live.

This is a battle. A battle between truth and deceit. A battle between forces that would enslave this country in darkness and between a media that wants to present you with the truth. We are being censored.

[00:42:40] America's news outlets no longer provide the truth. 90% of news outlets in the United States are controlled by six corporations. The mission of the Epoch Times is to chase the truth. To ground all statements and facts. The Epoch Times dot com. All right, back with you live. So much to cover.

[00:43:10] So little time. Tell you that, it's just wow. So President Trump planned to send around 10,000 troops to back Tom Holman. We got 300 expelled of the first day. That's getting started, baby. Some of the most criminals of all two. Chicago trying to put up their opposition. But I'm telling you, man, they are dealing with something they don't know what they're dealing with. These Chicago, Illinois officials are on the wrong side of the law here. And it isn't going to go well for them if they don't straighten up quick. Same with the state of California.

[00:43:40] Pentagon deploys soldiers to supercharge border safety. Amen to that. Now, Texas rep. Guy's name is Brian Babin. Brian Babin. To introduce legislation to end birthright citizenship. So Donald Trump made an executive order and said, hey, we're not going to have birthright citizenship anymore.

[00:44:04] You're not going to just bring anchor babies here, somehow cross the border illegally, have an illegal woman, you know, have a baby in our hospitals at our expense. And then all of a sudden that baby's an American? No. Well, Sam, that runs afoul of the 14th Amendment. I understand. There's a debate there. Will Trump get shut down by himself? Probably. And I'm not downing Donald Trump. But even experts are saying, hey, Donald can't just make this change by himself. And I agree. But he can lead the charge. And he did.

[00:44:33] And I commend President Trump for it. Now what needs to happen is Congress needs to codify this and say, hey, the founding father's vision of the 14th Amendment had to do with making sure that if you were black that you could be a citizen. Not considered property, right? It wasn't about just saying every, you know, person that wants to just sneak across the border as an illegal, you know, alien can just have their babies here. And we're going to pay for them to be delivered and care for the baby. And they're an American citizen.

[00:45:01] So Texas Rep Brian Babin is going to introduce legislation to say, no, no more birth citizenship. That's what we need is an all-front effort on this. We need the president, the executive branch, the legislative branch. Then the courts downstream can take law from the real lawmakers. Imagine that. The legislative body can dictate to the judiciary and support the chief executive and say, let's get this done.

[00:45:28] The Trump administration is going further now as well, and I say this is phenomenal news. The Trump administration is now criminally investigating sanctuary jurisdictions and will take legal action against any city or state that is in violation of federal law.

[00:45:53] Yeah, the DOJ even, believe it or not, under Trump now established what they call a sanctuary city enforcement working group. So Trump taking serious action. Now what we need is the legislative bodies to double down and support President Trump in this. Right? The sooner the better. Right? The sooner the better on this, people. This is something really that matters.

[00:46:22] Something that we can get done. And anyway, I digress on that except for I support it 100%. And you say, well, Sam, wait a minute. What about this justice versus mercy idea you've talked about? No, we need to be merciful. But if you're a criminal, you need to know we're coming for you. You better leave the country and you better leave now. And you sanctuary city thugs that are partnering in crime against the general government, you're not doing that anymore. You'll be criminals. And we'll treat you as such too. Okay?

[00:46:52] And so now, if you're a good, honest person, you're here illegally, I'm starting to say we need to use the term. Listen carefully. Report or deport. The choice is yours. That's what I'm saying now. Right? Report or deport. Report. The choice is yours. Think about that.

[00:47:22] Because if you're here and the only crime you've committed is you cross the border and you shouldn't have, the question becomes, hey, for that kind of a, is it a misdemeanor? What is it? Okay. Can we, you know, work on a way to bring you above board? I think we can. Do we have to be, you know, so hostile to those people? I don't think so. Okay? We have got so many people that we need to deport ladies in denim. It's not even funny. I mean, they say like 11 million came in since Biden took office. Some are saying 7, 8 million.

[00:47:52] You and I might think it's north of that, but let's just say 12 million to make it easy. 12 million people, if you're going to get rid of them, and how long of a time do you want to get rid of them in? I mean, if you took a million a year, it'll be 12 years. If you took 2 million a year, it'll be 6 years. Right? If you took 4 million a year, it'll be 3 years. So we're going to have to get after it in a meaningful way.

[00:48:16] And I personally think, I personally think that Tom Holman and Donald Trump are the people to get it done if we back them. Right? They can't do it all by themselves. Right? They can't do it all by themselves. We need the legislatures to help at the general level and the state levels.

[00:48:41] We need everybody on board. And I really want to shout out to Ron DeSantis. Because what he said is, hey, I'm going to have a legislative session here coming up after Trump takes office. And we're going to work on changing our laws at the state level and providing some funding to back Donald Trump's plan. And I think we really need to start using the words report or deport.

[00:49:09] And if you don't have anything wrong, right? If you don't have anything that you've done wrong, then you can just report and we'll work on a way to solve your problems. You're not in the criminal gang, criminal cartels, criminal drugs, sex trafficking, human trafficking. You're not in that camp. You don't have a ton to worry about, comparatively speaking. Yeah, you're going to have to work out a way. You can't just jump the line. That's what's wrong with what you've done.

[00:49:38] What about all the people that want to come here and they try to do so legally? They're all behind you because you cut in front of the line. We're not going to allow that. We're going to penalize you for cutting in front of the line. But understand, if you report, it'll be way better. You can either report or deport. The choice is yours. And when you do, we're going to treat you accordingly. And we're going to first off find out if you're a hardened criminal. If you are, you're gone. Your reporting will mean you're deporting. But you knew that.

[00:50:08] You could have deported yourself. If you want to report, though, and you don't believe you should deport, then we could analyze that with you. See, there can be. And I had two sheriffs on the radio program with me on Tuesday, with Sheriff Mack as well. And I brought this up. You know, we can have a justice plan tempered with mercy. And that's what I'm calling for. So you've got to report or deport. If you're just a good person, report. Let's get you above board. Let's get you on the record. Let's find out what your penalty should be.

[00:50:37] How long have you been in the country illegally? Have you committed any crimes? Do you have a family? Have you contributed to society? Do you have a work? Or I'm sorry, a job. Do you have an employer that will vouch for you? Do you have, okay, do you have a savings account? Is there a way we can have you pay your debt to society? There's fines. There's penalties. Okay, the longer you've been in the country, the more you've been on the dole. Let's just build your history. And we'll put together a formula and let you work out of it.

[00:51:07] If you're not a criminal, you can report and become above board. That's the most kind thing we can do for you. Or if you're a criminal, you just got to deport. It's all that simple. Right? If you've got crimes, you need to go. If you're a peaceful person, the only thing you've really done is cross the border and, you know, you shouldn't have. Or if you're a DACA baby or you're whatever. And, you know, the circumstances are in your favor. That you're not a problem. That, you know, I get that people want a better life.

[00:51:35] I get that people are like, hey, I'd rather be a criminal in America. I'm sorry, I'd rather be an illegal in America. I'd rather be an illegal alien in America where I'm at least somewhat safe versus being in my old country where I'm in jeopardy or my children are in jeopardy and it's just not safe. And I get that tradeoff for people. And that's why I want a justice tempered with mercy plan. That's why I want to set up a report or deport. The choice is yours.

[00:52:06] Plan. Right? Right? Because then they would help us. Anybody that's good would just report. And we simply say, okay, listen, if you reported, we vet you quickly. Are you a problem? If not, we're going to leave you for another day. Good. You're on the list for another day. On the other hand, it'll help us vet. If you didn't report after a certain amount of time, it isn't going to go well for you. You don't have a driver's license. We're not going to give you any of those privileges.

[00:52:33] On the other hand, if you report and you work every day and you have a legitimate reason, hey, we're not going to mess with your driver's license right now. See, we can come to the table. But it takes all of us to come to the table. See? Brent Bozell says, I want them in prison. Yeah. This is a huge story. I can't talk about it today. We don't have enough time. But I will get to it in the next couple of days. Brent Bozell, huge media guy. Dear friend of ours. Christian leader.

[00:53:03] Anyway, he's saying we've got to have these people that prosecuted everybody on J6 go to prison. Now that we've released them and we find out how abused and wronged and defamed and lack of due process was provided to them, that's unacceptable. The prosecutors have got to go to prison now. And boy, do I agree with Brent Bozell on that baby. He's right as rain. And we've got to stand up and be counted. Listen, ladies and gentlemen, Donald Trump is providing the leadership we need in many, many, many, many ways. Give him credit.

[00:53:30] There are some concerns I have, but I'm setting my concerns for another day. Right now what I'm telling you is he's providing tremendous leadership. I mean, Donald Trump doubled down and said, hey, we're going to talk about sex. We're going to say males are males and females are females. And that's the way it is in America. And that's our policy. I commend the president of the United States, Donald J. Trump, for that. He pardoned the prisoners, the political prisoners. God bless Trump for that.

[00:53:59] Let's have him stand for pro-life and let's keep doing what we need to do to protect with the American people. That's what it's all about. I ask for your support. LibertyRoundtable.com. Donate liberally, would you please? LovingLiberty.net. Donate liberally, would you please? Liberty News Radio, same thing. Thanks for all that you do. Without you, we wouldn't even be here. So spread the word, share the love. I'm Sam Bushman. And that's another Liberty Roundtable live broadcast. Hopefully it was educational and entertaining.

[00:54:29] God save the Republic of the United States of America.
