[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West. You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. All right. Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. Sam Bushman, Sheriff Richard Mack on your radio. This is the broadcast for January 21st in the year of our Lord, 2025.
[00:00:40] Promoting God, family, country, protecting life, liberty, and property, and absolutely breaking down the Donald Trump huge inauguration day yesterday. Thank heavens Donald Trump took our advice, had it inside. Very safe, peaceful transfer of power. And what a day it was. We're getting to the point where it's almost 24 hours. One more hour and he'll be a president. 24 hours for the second time. 45 and 47. And we really need to work on things.
[00:01:09] J6 prisoners released, 1,500 of them. 14 got their sentences commuted. Which is good news. But, you know, people are asking what's next. And what's next is to really crack down on the border, ladies and gentlemen. The Trump administration is shutting down this idea that you can have this application and ask for permission to breach our border and, you know, seek for kind of asylum.
[00:01:35] An announcement posted on the CP1 program says, hey, the app's no longer functioning. Forget it. You're done. Not happening. They say a lot of people disappointed. We're still working on helping the J6 prisoners, as you know. You want to learn more about that? AmericanPatriotRelief.org. Also, you want to go to GiveSendGo.com slash freedomsambassador and donate. Sheriff Mack and I both donated and highly recommend you do the same.
[00:02:04] And President Trump has officially designated the cartels at the southern border as terrorist organizations. That needed to happen a long time ago. And so that's serious. Trump also talking about by February the 1st, he wants a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico. I don't think that'll really happen personally, Sheriff Mack, just my opinion. I think he's trying to get these guys to sit up and take notice. We will not let the borders leak like a sieve.
[00:02:32] And if you don't help us stop it now, then we are going to put 25% tariffs. But I'm hoping that action and meetings and negotiation can say, if you're Trump, I'll soften that now that we're getting somewhere. And now that you guys are on the same page as we are, look, we're stopping these thug cartels, they're terrorists, and we're not going to let the borders leak like a sieve. I think that's a shot across that bow for that negotiation. Your thoughts? I agree 100%. I think it's part of his negotiation process.
[00:03:01] I think he's putting them on notice. He knows that they know that he means what he says. So it's a way to get everybody to come to the bargaining table. He's done it before. Exactly. Back when he was president from 2016 to 2020. And it worked. And he's doing it again. I will say this, Sam.
[00:03:27] I find it almost, and we keep saying this about Biden and Harris, I find it almost unbelievable unbelievable that the people of this country and that the left accepted this. So many millions of people accepted that there was no threat or advance by the United States government towards the cartels.
[00:03:55] They didn't make them or declare them terrorists. Did not declare them a national nuisance. They did not declare them criminals. They did not declare them a danger to America. Nothing. Sam, this government totally supported the cartels.
[00:04:21] They acted like Sheriff Mack and Sam Bushman were worse than the drug cartels. Yes.
[00:04:54] Exactly. the topics today, but not totally. So Mike Johnson said he met in January 24 with Joe Biden. And he talked to Joe Biden about this gas export program. And he said, Joe, why did you shut down this gas export program? And Joe said, what are you talking about? Was all confused. And then he basically came back and said, oh, you're talking about the gas thing, right? And Mike Johnson's like, yes, yes, president, I am. He goes, oh, I didn't do that. And he goes, yes, you did.
[00:05:23] I can go out and literally have them printed out and we can go over it together if you want to. I'm telling you right now, it's in my state. I know this happened. And basically Joe Biden at the end of the day said, no, I just signed a thing that was like so we could research it. I didn't really shut it down. He didn't even know what he did. And Mike Johnson said it's the most scary thing I've ever seen in my life. I'm shocked about this. Well, here's the point. Here's the point. And
[00:05:49] here's the problem in my mind. If Mike Johnson third in line to be president knows that the president is derelict in his duty to the point where he can't get the job done from a national security point of view, isn't it his obligation to speak up? So Kamala said nothing. Second in line, Mike Johnson knew and said nothing. He even let Donald Trump struggle while Joe Biden said, I'm going to run again, intentionally skipping a primary, then letting them move Kamala in.
[00:06:18] When the Democrats finally had to speak up, Mike Johnson still remains silent. At some point, there's a crime here. At some point, the president wasn't running the country. Others were without election, without. OK. And if Mike Johnson knows about that, isn't he really participating in a crime? Well, I believe it was Dr. Martin Luther King said that if you don't speak up,
[00:06:46] that you're part of the problem. And I think that has been way too big of the problem in Washington, D.C. for way too long. And yeah, we just have to have the courage to take a stand now. And maybe Trump is going to be a good example of that because he doesn't hold back. And I'm just saying Mike Johnson had an obligation to come out of that meeting and say, you know what, people, I don't mean to play partisan politics here,
[00:07:16] but we cannot have a president that doesn't understand what's happening on his watch. Right. We just can't. It's a national security crisis. And others who are not elected are taking actions. So here's the next point. If Donald Trump really takes the lead on this and if Joe Biden really is that incompetent, let's release the files showing that in the hearings where that was discovered, where they're like, we can't really prosecute Joe Biden because he's not competent to withstand this
[00:07:43] thing. Well, then he couldn't be president. But then it means all of his pardons could be unwound. If you're a senior citizen, sheriff, and I take advantage of you in your house and I make you sign something and then you weren't really competent to sign, it can all be unwound. And I submit that if Joe Biden is not cognizant enough to run the country, which several now people are admitting that was the facts and these people stood by and let it happen, they're part of the crime. But secondly, most of this can be unwound, I would think. Right.
[00:08:14] I don't know. I'm not sure. However, it's kind of like... So other people not elected can run the country? People can know about it and it's not really... No, they can't. Well, they can't. Well, yeah, of course they can. Well, they just did. And they do what they have. We all know that. We all know that that was happening. However, I'm still questioning your question.
[00:08:38] For instance, in church, when they find out that a pastor or a clergyman was having an affair or doing other criminal activity, and yet they've never undone any of the baptisms he does or any of the christenings or anything else that he was doing while he was committing these crimes. And you would think they would have to go back and redo those, but they don't.
[00:09:08] And so I admit, now I'm bringing church and state together. I know, but your point's a good one, though, to where, hey, factually, Sam, what you're saying makes sense, but whether that's really the way it is or not, we don't know. These are uncharted waters, is your point, and you're right. I don't know the answer, and I'm not arguing with you like I do know. I'm just saying this is just so strange to me as a layman, just an average Joe going, what on earth is happening? Yeah. And there's got to be some way to create accountability, is all I'm saying.
[00:09:36] Well, that would be wonderful for Washington, D.C., and it looks like it's starting to happen right now. So I just, again, I pray for Trump's safety. I pray that he will get after it. And I pray for a very quick revelation from him and his administration as to how they're going to defund Planned Parenthood. Amen. And I think we need to get with other churches and start pushing that.
[00:10:06] I know Matt Staver is working on some cases over at Liberty Council, dear friends of ours, who says there's a few cases that might absolutely shut down Planned Parenthood. I know that's being watched by us and the administration and others. This 25% tariff thing, that dovetails with President Trump saying yesterday he's going to crank up a new government agency, which I'm not really a fan of unless we hear the rest of the story. So the agency is the External Revenue Service. Go ahead and skip the break.
[00:10:34] The External Revenue Service. So if we're going to put that in place and then we're going to also put tariffs in place, then I say we just abolish the IRS entirely. Sheriff, we don't need it anymore, becoming a harassment arm of whoever's in power. Shut it down. Sam, you and I have talked about the IRS for as long as we've known each other. Ron Paul, Congressman Ron Paul has. His son Rand has.
[00:11:04] To the extent of his father, not even close. But that we've allowed this to continue in this country is just mind-blowing, Sam. No question. What we have all said is that the IRS and American liberty cannot coexist. And they haven't coexisted.
[00:11:28] What has happened is American liberty has been almost destroyed completely by this agency that we all just have to bow down to and that we're all so afraid of and intimidated by, and it's a bunch of bully criminals, that the United States Congress and the United States presidents have allowed to exist.
[00:11:51] Well, the way Donald Trump can come out of the gate on this is next after pardoning the J6ers, pardon all the IRSers or whatever you want to call them, but pardon those who have been wronged by the abusive criminal IRS. Yes. Yes, there are so many people in prison because of these bullies. And it shouldn't have happened in the first place. And people that would be out paying taxes too. I mean, this is very simple. Yeah.
[00:12:20] And I use Ken Cromart as kind of the poster boy. This guy's not going to hurt a fly. And they got him in literally lockdown prison. What for? Because he made them mad? Mm-hmm. No reason. Give him a fine. Give him an ankle bracelet. Whatever you do, let him go home. He's a danger to no one. All right, moving right along because Trump did so much yesterday. I want to cover as much of it as we possibly can. President Donald Trump issued an executive order to do two things.
[00:12:47] To, one, remove the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement. Amen to that. He also signed another executive order withdrawing the U.S. from the World Health Organization. Get out of the WHO and get out of the Paris Climate Accord. Huge, wonderful news, Sheriff Mack. Yeah, that is huge. Yeah.
[00:13:11] Another huge story today, Sam, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here, that Vivek Ramoswami is now out of DOGE. Oh, that's my next headline. So Vivek basically is going to run for governor of Ohio. He's out at Doge. He didn't get along with Musk that well. No harm, no foul. They're both friends. He's just moving on saying, I can play a role here. And this is one thing we need to realize. When people separate, don't think it's a meltdown.
[00:13:38] Don't follow the mainstream press, lie that they're at war with one another. Look, Vivek wants to be governor of Ohio, and he can't really do both because as they build DOGE, how does he have time to campaign? So everybody wants to use this as, oh, my gosh, it's already fracturing. I don't think so. I don't think so at all. I don't want to read into this. I just know hopefully we can get Vivek as governor of Ohio.
[00:14:01] Just imagine a bold governor able to speak out and literally lay out very cogent plans for solutions like he did on the campaign trail, not only for his own bid for president but backing Trump as well. Just imagine what an Ohio governor could do in a position like that and how huge that could be, Sheriff. Yeah, I mean, yeah, it's a big story, but I don't know if it's a big deal. If you get my difference. Yeah, agreed.
[00:14:29] That's my point is that, look, it's not a meltdown. He's just like, hey, Elon's got this. There's not really a great place for me in it. I can move over here and do just as good. And we need to think about that in America, too, when we partner, have different people, you know, move different places. And we're friends and we're all working together, people. We got to remember that. We can't let them divide us because then they win. That's the whole point that I'm driving at here. Trump also signs an executive order saving TikTok for 75 days. Wired.com with that piece.
[00:14:58] So, Sheriff, you can stay on TikTok, sir. Oh, yay. Sam, I'm going to have to tell you. There's two people that I totally admire and they live just down the street from you. And it's my daughter and her husband. Their kids are not allowed on any social media, nor have they ever. That's incredible. Amen.
[00:15:25] They're still perfectly happy and they're very well adjusted. They're straight A students. All four of their kids are straight A students. Libby, the oldest, just started classes at BYU this past semester. And she's heading on a mission. She's got her papers ready to go on a mission. But this is the thing. They're all well adjusted. They're very athletic. They're very good students. And I praise the Lord for what they've done.
[00:15:55] And on the other hand, I have another granddaughter that really got into it. And it was really messing up her life big time. Yeah. And so I think, you know, I'm against anyone in the government that says we can just shut down TikTok. Amen. Or any others. Or any others. Yeah, because how long will it be until you shut down Liberty News Radio? Tell parents to shut them down. That's right.
[00:16:23] None of you have to be on there. My kids don't have social media, except my wife has a couple of accounts that my kids are allowed to preview from time to time, seeing what their aunts and uncles are doing and what's going on like that. But it's through my wife's phone with my wife's supervisor. That's the whole thing. None of them have anything else other than that. It can be monitored and watched. And not by government. Totally. Yeah. Yeah, that's who God put in charge of the teachers.
[00:16:49] Anyway, so it's good news TikTok's not shut down because, again, you know, when they came for me, there was no one to defend me because I didn't defend anybody else. You know, everybody knows that. Okay, well, that's the deal with TikTok here. Pretty soon it'll be Liberty News Radio or whatever else. And if the communist Chinese want to have an opinion and they want to have free speech, let them. And parents need to be responsible for what happens on that, et cetera. And I also wonder, too, is TikTok worse than Facebook and Instagram?
[00:17:18] Facebook and Instagram, remember, that's Mark Zuckerberg, the guy that literally censored Trump, promoted Biden and Kamala and all these clowns, literally lied and put $420 million into the 2020 election that, of course, was not tampered with, right? I mean, that's that guy. And now he's at the inauguration. And now he's back. Yeah. And, yeah, standing in the middle of everybody, they're acting like he's, you know, one of you.
[00:17:43] And so are you more worried about the communist Chinese or Zuckerberg's, you know, platform? Yeah. It's just, it's almost a clown show. But the other news is Marco Rubio got unanimously confirmed as the secretary of state. The first confirmation for Donald Trump to be approved, it was unanimous. It was 99 out of 100 because Marco didn't vote for himself. Right. I'm really unanimous. That's huge.
[00:18:14] The Democrats did that. Why did they do that? Yeah. I don't know. Because they've known Marco Rubio for a long time and he's some, I mean, he's not as hardcore as I'd like him to be. Yeah. But he's been there for a long time. He ran for president before. He's been very vetted, right? Yeah. Oh, yeah. He has a couple of times. And so it's an easy confirmation. And I like that they went with him first because now we've got a success under our belt.
[00:18:41] Let's get two or three or four successes and then push through Cash Patel right away. Yeah, that should happen. And so I don't see how they're going to block anybody. And so they might as well come out and show some. Oh, I guess Rubio did cast a vote for himself. All right. I was going to say it's weird that he didn't vote for himself. I guess he did. Okay. All right. I would have voted for myself too, Sheriff. Sure. Why not? You want the job and you believe in yourself? That is correct.
[00:19:10] They also say Trump will suspend the security clearances of the 51 national security. They call them officials. I'm going to add the word thugs. Who signed the letter falsely implying that Donald Trump was in bed with Russia. Yeah. So those folks are, I don't know what word to use. Those folks are, I guess, going to lose their security clearances. When it says suspend, I don't know.
[00:19:39] I mean, I think we need to say revoke, not suspend. Very interesting, though, that accountability is somewhat not enough yet, but starting to happen. And I applaud it, Sheriff. Yeah, I do too, Sam. You know, we have this entire process.
[00:20:01] I find it so funny and ironic and so beyond hypocrisy that we have somebody like Adam Schiff questioning anybody about their background and integrity. And so finally, Pam Bondi just let him have it said, that's the reason you were censored is because you do stuff like this.
[00:20:25] You know, but the thing with his, he is an absolute admitted political liar. And he knows it and everybody knows it. And if he's ever confronted about it, especially during his campaign against Steve Garvey for U.S. Senate, which he won, of course, because that's what California does. He just simply says, I was going after Trump like a true American would. You know? Uh-huh.
[00:20:56] Yeah. You lied. You fabricated the entire Russia hoax. You said you had evidence, solid evidence. And I think we need to prosecute these people. We need to prosecute Joe Biden, too. All of them. Yeah. How many people get arrested and charged for lying to Congress? Amen. And how many people like Steve Bannon go to jail wrongfully because they say we have presidential or executive privilege on this and on our communications?
[00:21:25] And they say, no, you don't. Well, the opposite needs to be true then, too. How come the other thug? Barrow went to prison. Roger Stone went to prison. Steve Bannon went to prison. Yeah. And why not Merrick Garland and these other clowns? They need to go to prison, too. They defied these things. Yep. And anyway, at the end of the day, all I can say is I'm praying for accountability. One thing I will say is this.
[00:21:49] No matter what's going on in America so far, and this is the blessing I want to point to before the end of the half hour and we get to our next guest. But I really want to highlight this. I did a video on this, too, that will be coming out in a couple of days. It's a short video. But the headline for this is this. The peaceful transfer of power. Sheriff, that's really critical. Even when, you know, we went to the January 6th thing. I know the government caused some violence and, you know, some people did a couple of stupid things.
[00:22:18] But for the most part, it was a peaceful transfer of power even in 2020. President Trump left on a plane and said, hey, I'm not going to attend the inauguration. I'm gone. But yet it was peaceful transfer of power. Even yesterday, thank heavens, was a peaceful transfer of power. That's a hallmark that America has been known for since its inception. And that's something that I pray in the future we can hold on to. Yeah, that crossed my mind a few times, too.
[00:22:46] When I saw Hillary sitting in the audience there and Biden and Jill Biden, I thought of the same thing. And even though Biden was pulling some shenanigans behind his back, it nevertheless was shenanigans and not, you know, it wasn't violent. And it wasn't trying to do anything that would have stopped the transfer of power.
[00:23:15] It was just Biden and his own stupidity and whoever his people who are in charge, probably Jill Biden and Kamala and the chief of staff. They're doing the whole thing and they have been. And Sam, I would still love to see when Biden was first in office, who actually pulled the plug on the network when they started asking questions. They had to avoid that at all costs. Sam, this is at the very beginning.
[00:23:44] This is almost four years ago. Yes. Yeah, it's exactly four years ago. Whoever whoever did that, what did they know? We need to put people on the stand, sir. Anyway, really quick, really quick before the end of the half hour. One interesting thing. I don't know if you know this, but Trump takes oath without hand on the Bible. Did you see that? Yeah. And I was wondering that because his wife was right there holding it. Well, what happened is it wasn't Trump's fault at all.
[00:24:11] It was this clown, Chief Justice Roberts. He's blown multiple swearing ins. This is just one of them. He didn't go to tell him to put his hand on the Bible. I agree. But he didn't. And he just went along and Trump didn't stop it. But all I can tell you is Trump mentioning God several times makes up for it. What I would do if I was Trump is I would have another huge TV event where I'd put my hand on the Bible and double down on that and say, hey, Roberts made a mistake. We'll fix it and do it right now.
[00:24:41] God save the republic. Our next guest in seconds. You're listening to Liberty News Radio. News this hour from townhall.com. I'm Rich Thomas. President Trump attending a church service getting underway just about now.
[00:25:08] On this, his first full day in office, Donald Trump will attend a national prayer service at the Washington National Cathedral. It's a religious service the cathedral has held the day after the inauguration since 1933. In the afternoon, the president will host the Republican leadership teams from Congress before making what the White House calls a massive announcement on infrastructure. White House correspondent Greg Clugston. The golden age of America begins right now.
[00:25:37] President Trump getting down to business right away following his inauguration, signing around 200 executive orders and actions, among other things, issuing pardons for those who got caught up in the chaos at the U.S. Capitol four years ago. Mr. Trump is pulling America out of the Paris Climate Accords and out of the World Health Organization. He's also trashing federal DEI programs and is unleashing domestic energy production. Also has declared a national emergency along the southern border.
[00:26:05] In a vote that was unanimous, the Senate has confirmed former Senator Marco Rubio to serve as Secretary of State. They've already been shivering along the Gulf Coast and it's far from over. Rigid temperatures engulfing Texas and other parts of the south all the way down to the Florida panhandle. So we are looking for a significant winter storm, potentially a historic winter storm, for portions of these areas. And National Weather Service meteorologist Mark Chouinard says the forecast calls for four to six inches of snow.

Well, I know how frustrating that can be. You do? Uh-huh. I'm still waiting for my romantic lunch date. Oh, yeah. David. Well, I must not have enough memory allocated. Uh-huh. Sorry? You know, your son said mama today. Really? Uh-huh. Well, we'll have to have that sound change to data. Well, you could reprogram it yourself, you know. I know. Hey, why don't we do it over lunch today?

[00:29:59] Oh, beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain, for purple mountain.
[00:30:17] I got chills when you first did it. And folks, welcome back to Liberty Roundtable. And a very special guest.
[00:30:44] But before we get to the guest, I got to say this about Carrie Underwood. It was the epitome of professionalism. Everybody was standing there waiting for the music to be cued. It never happened. So she went on with the show. The show must go on. That's absolutely vital in the entertainment business. And she did it. She knocked it out of the park.
[00:31:13] It was a beautiful rendition. You could hear her voice, her vibrato. She was on pitch. She was on key. And she's got a beautiful voice and a beautiful face. And she was a great addition to this very historic event. And people tried to criticize her as a celebrity being willing to sing for Trump. And her response was classic. Sheriff, she said this. I'll sing for America anytime.
[00:31:40] And that's what we need in this country, sir. Absolutely. And we love what she did. And as you alluded to earlier, Sam, during the break, even the Germans and Americans fighting World War II stopped on Christmas and sang songs together. The power of music is there. Every church participates in music.
[00:32:08] And it is a vital part of our religious services and worship. And I believe that's what she did for all of us yesterday. She should be commended. And I think that's going to be a huge part of, or maybe not a huge part, but it's going to be a part of this historical event that happened yesterday. And speaking of historical events, we have a historical event today, Sam, because we have our second sheriff on board.
[00:32:38] Sheriff Ivey, I don't know if you know, but we had Sheriff Mark Lamb on the first half hour, and we're having you on the last half hour. Well, I'm glad that you finally got a good-looking sheriff on here. Yeah, just so you know, in the radio business, when you have something on at the start and then at the end with stuff in between, they call it like a donut. And I know cops are famous for donuts, so. Yeah, but we call them power rings now, Sam. That's power rings.
[00:33:07] It's much more nutritious. Well, I'll tell you what. Sheriff Ivey, I've got to tell you this. Back when I was a street cop in Utah, I got so sick and tired of the stereotypical donut thing with cops, is that I swore off donuts. Because a lot of the donut shops, instead of throwing all their donuts away and all their pastries and whatnot, they'd drop them by the police department and just leave them there. Oh, great.
[00:33:37] That's all I need. Because I was front desk sergeant, so I was always there when they brought them. And I, anyway, I literally did not have a donut for like 10 years. And I'm still proud of that. Sheriff, you've seen me before, so you know I have not sworn them off. Yeah. You too hot. I still need to lose weight,
[00:34:05] but my belly is not a donut belly or a beer belly. Mine is a frozen custard belly. Oh, there you have it. Ladies and gentlemen, Sheriff Wayne Ivey is with us. He's Sheriff of Brevard County, Florida. BrevardSheriff.com to learn more about Sheriff Ivey's incredible work. Sheriff, as you watched the inauguration yesterday, as you've seen all the executive orders come out, the freeing of the J6 prisoners, the serious issues on the border, and Donald Trump taking this very seriously indeed,
[00:34:34] we just want to hear your raw, no questions asked thoughts. So, very simply put, there's a new sheriff in Washington, D.C., and he's got one goal in mind, and that is protecting America, protecting us on our home front by protecting our borders and protecting our men and women in the service, armed services across the waters by making sure we have the strongest military in the world,
[00:35:02] making sure that our borders are protected. And I think if you watched yesterday, it was funny because I often tell people that my job as sheriff is to protect what I call the three Cs, our citizens, our cops, and our constitution. And he referenced every bit of that yesterday. Amen, Sheriff Mack. Yeah, and I knew, I knew Sheriff Ivey would have a good remark on that, but it was even better than what I thought. But Sheriff Ivey,
[00:35:32] looking at all the horrible things that have happened to our country, because of our government officials, because of the leadership or lack thereof in the White House, and the dishonesty and the criminal activity of the United States government, the last four years, and it's happened before then too. But it was so blatant in our faces that Trump declares the cartels to be terrorists.
[00:36:01] This last administration completely worked with them and aided and abetted cartel criminal activity, never declared that they were even a problem or a danger to America. And then on day one, President Trump declares them to be a terrorist organization. If you had one thing that you could tell President Trump right now would be the
[00:36:28] number one thing that he has got to do to get America back online, what would you do? What would be your key issue? What's the most important thing that President Trump should be working on right now? Well, I think he's already pointed that out. You know, President Trump had four years to experience Washington, D.C., and so he knows, you know, what the swamp is well like.
[00:36:55] So the thing that I would say to him is to do what's in his heart, do what he would want to be done to protect those, those amazing grandchildren and children of his, and to protect our nation for decades and decades to come. You know, what he did with the Supreme Court was a big part of that in his first administration, completely, I believe, up, steered the ship on the Supreme Court. But he's got to,
[00:37:24] he already knows that he's got to protect our borders. He already knows that he's got to get rid of all the insanity. And, you know, Donald Trump came under fire very early on because he did a couple of things right, right from the deep go. He exposed the swamp for what it is, and he exposed the media for what they are. And those two creatures will never forget it. They'll never let it go. And I think as much as we all celebrated yesterday, look,
[00:37:51] I've never looked so forward to a Monday as I did this past weekend. Amen. I think we all, as much as we all celebrated, there are those undertones out there that are not celebrating. They're lining up to try and take this man down. And I remember what he said, I believe it was in 2019. They're not coming for me. They're coming for you. I'm in their way. That's right. That's right. Amen to that. Now, ladies and gentlemen, I want to point something else out that Trump said in his inauguration.
[00:38:20] He said a lot of stuff and he gave a lot of speeches yesterday, but there's one thing that really stood out to me that I think is worthy of our focus. It says this Trump credits historic reelection to divine intervention. My life was saved for a reason. He says, think about that. And so, you know, I can't say that everything he does is God driven. He's a human and all that kind of stuff. I'm not making him out to be a savior in any way,
[00:38:49] but I do believe that he was preserved for this. And I do believe that, you know, when somebody takes the mantle as president, they become much more reflective about repercussions of their position. And when you have something like that happen to you, I mean, it brings up parallels of Reagan and everything else. Your thoughts on that, Sheriff Mack, he literally, so I wish he put his hand on the Bible. I think justice Roberts screwed that up.
[00:39:15] I think Donald can come back and put his hand on the Bible just so there's no questions asked about that. But Trump referred to God multiple times and literally credits his saved life to God and intervention. And he says, I'm here for a reason. And the next question you got to ask, what is that reason? Sheriff Mack? Well, Sam, I heard one comment on television this morning when I was watching the news before we got on the show. And I agree with the left's perception.
[00:39:45] If that had been Barack Obama or Biden who failed to put their hand, they would never hear the end of it from the right. And, and so I wasn't, I wasn't very disappointed about it. I thought that things were very hectic. They just barely moved into the Capitol when they were going to have it outside. And, and by the way, Sheriff, I, and that's the reason for, for her miscue too. And the music miscue is, Hey, they're just trying to scramble and get it all happening. They just weren't ready. And they,
[00:40:15] they didn't even know they were having it in the U S cup capital until about three days ago. But we were really pushing for that nationwide, Sheriff I, because we felt that it was far too dangerous for the family and the cabinet and the president to be outdoors because of a security nightmare. I think you felt the same way. Did you not? Well, I've always had those concerns. Look, skip the break. Continue. Keep going. To your original question,
[00:40:44] Pastor Lorenzo Sewell said it best yesterday, the millimeter miracle. Um, and, uh, I, I mean, I want an uplifting prayer and a guide that, uh, uh, Reverend Sewell gave, but, um, you know, look, there's, there's a purpose for all of us in our life. There's a reason that Donald Trump had to wade through living hell for the past four years, um, to, uh, to get to where he is today. And those trials and testaments will be what, uh,
[00:41:12] what makes him fix all the problems. Amen. Well, and, and as far as the Bible thing, even the new Testament talks about how, uh, a simple yay or nay is suffice it. Uh, and I feel the same way. Your word is the same, whether your hand is on that Bible or not. I mean, you know, I, I, um, I, I picked up right away that he didn't have his hand on the Bible. I think the timing was a little off. Um, clearly the Bible means something to him. As you said,
[00:41:42] he referenced it multiple times and he even had the Bible that his mother gave him, uh, therefore, and he had Abraham Lincoln's Bible. So, uh, you know, his wife was standing there with both Bibles, right? She had it. Yeah. She had it right next to him, but I, he was looking at Roberts and Robert should have said, put your hand on the Bible. He would have done it. Uh, but anyway, uh, it, it, it didn't really matter to me, but they're right. Uh, if it had been reversed, the right would be really upset about it.
[00:42:12] And I'm not upset about it either way. Uh, I don't care. I think Donald Trump just needs to have a huge press conference and just do it just to say, Hey, I'm going to be more, it would be more intentional. It would be more clear. Set aside any speculation, Sheriff Ivy. Keep this in mind guys. Last time he, on inauguration day, eight years ago, he walked out of the church and held the Bible in the air and was,
[00:42:39] was just ridiculed for it by those same people. So, um, which way do you want it? You know, here's what I want. I want a president in Washington, DC. That's going to protect his people, going to protect, um, our, our future. And, uh, all, all the way across the board. So, um, uh, you know, God, God knows why Donald Trump's there. And I always tell everybody, um,
[00:43:07] God has a plan and he doesn't care about our plan. Um, in fact, he laughs at our plan. So, um, I think, uh, I think time will be the teller. Well, and I think it's worthy of note to notice, ladies and gentlemen, the parallels. Amazing parallels between Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. I mean, it's just shocking when you really start to study it from hostages being released to assassination attempts on both of them after their first,
[00:43:37] whatever, before their second one. I mean, I can go on and on and on, but it's, it's interesting. The parallels that are starting to materialize, uh, here as well, Sheriff Ivy. Oh, absolutely. Um, you know, and, uh, I think, I think when we go back and we look at, at presidents, uh, people automatically bring to the forefront, Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan. Um, and, uh, I think in time that will be the exact same thought process for Donald Trump. Sheriff Matt, you,
[00:44:07] you've liked Reagan and saw the Reagan movie and everything else too. And what do you think? There's a lot of parallels, man. There's people are documenting them and they're starting to stack up. Oh, did we lose you? Sheriff Mac? I'm sorry. Here I am. Here I am. Oh yeah. He's on mute. No problem. Go ahead, sir. Well, neither one of them were politicians. Uh, Reagan obviously grew up in the, uh, entertainment field and, uh,
[00:44:38] so, sort of, so did, uh, Trump, but he was in the business world. Uh, uh, uh, first thing he ever ran for was president. First thing, uh, Reagan ever ran for was governor and he won. Uh, and then they both were real solid, uh, on conservative issues. Uh, uh, both were very good orators, probably Reagan, the best, but yeah,
[00:45:06] they did have a lot in common and I did see that movie and I actually loved the movie and it was very nostalgic. Uh, I, I, I love the eighties. And of course, Reagan was president from 80 to 88. And of course, Ronald Reagan's assassination attempt has been a huge part of my life because I sued over the issue of the guy who actually got hurt the most. And that was, uh, Jim Brady, who was the press secretary at the time in March of 81, uh, in Washington, DC when,
[00:45:36] uh, they all got shot. Um, and then of course, Brady was confined to wheelchair and his wife used him as a poster boy to pass the Brady bill, which we sued to stop. And we actually won. So I've always been close to that issue. I've always been close to that, but, uh, Sheriff Ivy, uh, you just won reelections. Correct. I did. Yes, sir. Just, uh, just got reelected in November. Congratulations, sir.
[00:46:07] And is this going to be your last term? No, sir. I'm, uh, I'm going to stay here as long as the great citizens of Brevard County allow me to, uh, to serve them. Um, I'm, uh, I'm 62 young and, uh, I get up every morning and I can't wait to put this, uh, snazzy green uniform on. I'd, I'd hoped it'd be a little more slimming than it was, but, um, it's just, uh, so Sheriff,
[00:46:36] so Sheriff Ivy, incredible. So Sheriff Ivy, when, um, president Trump says, and Tom Holman say, we're going to go ahead and take care of business. The days of the, of the invasion are over. What's your response? Bravo. Um, about time. Um, thank you for, for getting back in there and putting a stop to this. Um, Tom Holman, um, is, is phenomenal. I've had a chance to meet with him, um,
[00:47:05] and work with him. Uh, perfect pick for the job. Uh, the, the job, uh, was on its way to being finished with him at the helm. And, uh, now I think it will be finished, but look, um, you know, everybody in the country needs to, to accept and understand that illegal immigration doesn't stop at the border. Our, our brothers and sisters in law enforcement are battling it at the border in Texas and Arizona, but it doesn't stop there. It filters into every community. And so does the crime it brings with it. Yeah. So,
[00:47:36] especially when Joe flies, flies into everybody's communities. Absolutely. You know, and listen, um, we opened the floodgates and here's, here's what we did even worse than opening the floodgates. We not only opened the floodgates for them to come in, we endorsed the criminal behavior and funded the criminal behavior throughout the last four years. And president Trump's already, um, in the process of putting a stop to that. Bravo to him and the team. And, uh, uh, I can tell you,
[00:48:06] Florida sheriffs stand ready to, uh, to, uh, fight this battle. And, uh, I think we're going to get our opportunity. Well, Sheriff Ivy, what would you say to, uh, the mayors and governors of some of the blue states? Uh, I find quite insane myself, but what would you say to them when they come out and say, uh, Tom home and better not come and try his stuff here to deport. Anybody will stand against it.
[00:48:33] What do you say to governors and mayors who are saying stuff like that? Real simple. Buckle up, buttercup. It's coming. There you have it. And I want to bring up. Are they not, are they not breaking law obstruction of justice? If they actually take that too far? Absolutely. You know, one of the things that, um, uh, I think president Trump understands and certainly Tom does is, uh, that, uh, they,
[00:49:03] they've got to unhandcuff local and state law enforcement so that we can be part of the solution. Um, uh, you know, and that's, that's not a negative statement to the, the hardworking men and women of customs and ice that are boots on the ground. They've been hand cuff themselves for the past four years. So, but the resources that are going to be needed to fix this problem are going to have to come from local state and federal partnerships. That's, that's the only way this is going to work. And Ron DeSantis spoke out about that and wants to call special session to support that,
[00:49:33] right? He did. I was actually with him myself and Sheriff Judd, Greg Judd were with him. Um, and, uh, it was last Wednesday and he has called a special session with, uh, some plans that he has to, uh, to bring some new initiatives to the table for state law that will, uh, compliment the federal law. Once, uh, the president's executive orders is, uh, uh, in the works. I want to highlight this at the end. I know we're running out of time, Sheriff Ivy, but I really think this is important.
[00:50:03] You know, when you hear Tom Holman and when you hear the president, it's just like hardcore justice. We're going after everybody, hardcore criminals. Everybody's a criminal. Everybody's in danger. And I understand why they're doing that because they want people to self deport and they want criminals to be put on notice. But there is a humane side to this as well, which is we're protecting American citizens from real, real bad people. Trump has not overstated that the liberals undermine Trump's point on this,
[00:50:31] but the reality is the humane thing to do is say, we won't treat everybody equal. There is a justice and mercy side to this. And our, our humanity is what makes us want to uphold the rule of law, not the other way around. And, um, Sheriff lamb spoke to that too. I'd like to give you a chance to speak to that as well. Yeah. So look, um, to me, the biggest slap in the face that illegal immigration does is slapping
[00:50:59] those in the face that did it the right way, that came to our country and went through the, the, the different processes they had to go through to come here. It's a slap in the face to them to let people come to our country illegally. Then you, then you put in the fact that, um, you have angel families who's, who's, you know, innocent lives, their children were husbands, wives were killed by somebody that shouldn't even have been in our country. Um, here in our own County, we experienced it with a,
[00:51:27] an individual that shouldn't have been in our country. Certainly shouldn't have been drunk driving that hit one of our deputies head on, uh, was driving the wrong way and our deputy interceded. And was hit in the head on crash. Thankfully he was okay. Minimal injuries, but none of those should have happened because those people shouldn't even have been in our country. So, um, the, the humane thing to do is to follow the laws of the nation. America was built on law and order. We need to follow the laws of the nation,
[00:51:56] protect our citizens and protect those that come to our country the right way and become citizens and, and, and want to bring the good they have of them, not the bad. Sheriff Mack. Well, amen to that sheriff. And, uh, we're glad you got reelected. We hope you stay as long as you possibly can. Um, someday when I get old, I hope to retire. Yeah, but, um,
[00:52:24] we do appreciate the work that you've done over the years. Uh, we appreciate, uh, your relationship with us and the CSPOA. And, um, you, you probably recognize the lies that people have told us, told about us that we're violent and racist and all that. And, uh, none of that is true as you very well know, but, uh, uh, we're grateful for your national leadership as well as your leadership in Brevard County, uh, where NASA is located. Wow.
[00:52:53] I forgot to tell everybody that you're, you're the NASA sheriff, aren't you? Uh, I, we have it right here in our backyard. So, you know, Sheriff Mack, I remember in 2012 sitting in the Pineda Crossings, uh, restaurant with you and, uh, you, um, at bombarding me with a series of questions to see if I, uh, could stay in the test of time and, and earn your support. And, um, we've been doing this for a long time. So it's always great.
[00:53:22] I remember that well, Sheriff. Well, God bless you and the work you do, Sheriff Wayne Ivy. If you could say anything to America, I love to ask this question right at the end. If you could say anything to America and to the world, what would you say? This is the greatest country in the world. Our constitution is what separates us from everybody else. And God bless America. Sheriff Ivy. Thank you so much, sir. Yeah, man. Thanks, Sheriff. We'll see you soon. Talk soon, brother. Thank you. Sheriff Wayne Ivy. Ladies and gentlemen,
[00:53:52] Sheriff Mark Lamb started out the program. Wayne Ivy ends the program. Dear Sheriff, friends. They want to double down and support Tom Holman and Donald Trump in this great quest to uphold the rule of law, to reject criminals, to stop gangs, to declare cartels, terrorist organizations, and most importantly, to protect we, the American people. God bless them all for it.
[00:54:20] Thank you as well for former Sheriff Richard Mack. I call him Sheriff Mack. CSPOA.org, because he's now got the posse where we can all get involved. Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association. Everybody, become a member of the posse today. CSPOA.org. Get involved. Thank you, sheriffs. And God needs to save the Republic of the United States of America. Okay, notes are... And God needs to save the Republic of the United States of America.
