Sam and Allen Discuss The detailed report from the Dallas County Republican Party regarding the county and general election.

* Haters Gonna Hate - Allen West.
* China stacked the deck against Augusta-made golf carts. Here's what America did about it.
US Rep. Rick W. Allen led a bipartisan, bicameral letter to Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo urging her to stand by US manufacturers.
* The world's top two golf-cart manufacturers, both based in Augusta, Ga., are praising a government finding that China is unfairly subsidizing its low-speed vehicle industry.
* The US Department of Commerce announced recently that China's government has engaged in antidumping and countervailing activities to undercut global leaders Club Car and E-Z-Go in the low-speed personal transportation vehicle (LSPTV) industry.
Antidumping is when foreign manufacturers sell goods at less-than-fair value. Countervailing is when a foreign government subsidizes manufacturers to enable them to sell goods cheaply. Additional duties often are levied to compensate for a nation's unfair trade actions. The Commerce Department will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to suspend liquidation and collect preliminary duties, in the form of cash deposits, on entries of LSPTVs from China, the department said. "Were glad to see the U.S. Department of Commerce take a stand for American manufacturers and workers," Club Car President and CEO Mark Wagner said in a statement. "The decision ... is a first step in the right direction to restore a fair marketplace for the American LSPTV industry and to help us and our hardworking employees recover from the unfair trade practices of the state-backed Chinese producers. "We are pleased that the U.S. Department of Commerce has recognized and taken decisive action against the unfair trade practices of the state-supported Chinese LSPTV industry," said Rob Scholl, president and CEO of Textron, the parent company of E-Z-Go. The announcement came just days after U.S. Rep. Rick W. Allen led a bipartisan, bicameral letter to Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo, urging her department to stand by U.S. manufacturers and workers in the LSPTV industry by ensuring that U.S. laws address trade practices viewed as unfair. "Last week's announcement from the Commerce Department is a win for American manufacturers and workers and sends a clear message that we will not tolerate discriminatory trade practices that harm U.S. producers," Allen said. "I am pleased that Secretary Raimondo heeded our letter and took decisive action to hold China accountable. The LSPTV industry is an important economic driver in the 12th District and we must take every necessary step to ensure a level playing field.
* Trump promised Jan. 6 pardons - “President Trump will make pardon decisions on a case-by-case basis,” Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.

[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West.
[00:00:18] You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show.
[00:00:25] All right. Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. Sam Bushman live on your radio.
[00:00:31] Hard-hitting news the networks refuse to use, no doubt, starts now.
[00:00:35] This, my fellow Americans, is the broadcast for December the 5th in the year of our Lord, 2024.
[00:00:41] This is Hour 1 of 2, the goal always to promote God, family, and country, to protect life, liberty, and property,
[00:00:47] to do so on your radio and the traditions of our founding fathers.
[00:00:51] Man, there's so much going on in the news. It's like, where do you start, right?
[00:00:54] First off, we're going to have Brian Russ coming up from FreewaterQuinCo.com,
[00:01:02] talking about the Honest Money Report. We'll do that later in the broadcast this first hour.
[00:01:06] Second hour, we have a great guest coming up. Colonel Allen West will be with us, or Lieutenant Colonel Allen West.
[00:01:13] He's chairman of the Dallas County, Texas GOP.
[00:01:17] And we're going to talk about the detailed report from the Dallas County Republican Party
[00:01:24] regarding the county and the general elections.
[00:01:28] So that'll be very interesting, to say the least.
[00:01:31] First, we've got all kinds of tidbits in the news.
[00:01:33] A quick coverage of what we did before.
[00:01:37] Yesterday's show, I was with James Edwards, thepoliticalcesspool.org.
[00:01:41] And we talked about, have you seen Sam's new Liberty Roundtable live short videos, LRT Shorts?
[00:01:46] You can check it out at libertyroundtable.com.
[00:01:48] The top video is just a minute video on who is Sam Bushman, if you're not familiar with the show,
[00:01:52] and who I am, and all that kind of stuff.
[00:01:54] Anyway, then you'll see the videos dispersed in with the shows as they're released.
[00:01:57] So you'll see radio shows and video shorts mixed together.
[00:02:00] But at the top, there's a filter button.
[00:02:02] You can click it and just show the radio shows, or click the videos button, the LRT videos,
[00:02:06] and just see the videos.
[00:02:07] There's nine videos up so far.
[00:02:09] My latest video defends Alex Jones, so that's good news.
[00:02:15] And we talked about this win, this super win that we had, Chad Chronister,
[00:02:20] withdraws from Trump's DEA admin pick.
[00:02:23] That's great news.
[00:02:24] We pushed for that.
[00:02:25] Chad's not a good guy.
[00:02:26] He shut down a pastor just trying to hold church services.
[00:02:31] The pastor was supposedly his friend that had kind of helped Chad promoting the sheriff before,
[00:02:35] and then the sheriff just turned on him.
[00:02:38] I don't know what's going on with Sheriff Chad, but shame on him for that.
[00:02:41] He basically claimed he had to do it.
[00:02:43] You know, that was the law, but that wasn't the law.
[00:02:45] It was a mandate from some bureaucrat thug somewhere.
[00:02:48] It wasn't the law.
[00:02:49] Anyway, we say move over Pete Henseth or Hegseth.
[00:02:54] Trump considering Ron DeSantis for U.S. defense secretary.
[00:02:59] That's good and bad.
[00:03:00] Good because I think DeSantis will be a good guy in many ways in that regard.
[00:03:03] But it's bad because I think it'll put the government of Florida in disarray.
[00:03:06] I don't know how good that'll end up being in the long term, but there you have that.
[00:03:10] We talked about, quote, everything in the world is going to change on January 20, 2025.
[00:03:16] That's who?
[00:03:17] Stephen Miller on President Donald Trump's first day in office.
[00:03:22] That's kind of an interesting tidbit.
[00:03:23] He says everything's going to change.
[00:03:24] We're going to get to the bottom of this.
[00:03:25] We're going to take no prisoners.
[00:03:26] We're going to move along.
[00:03:27] I hope Steve Miller's right, but I have my doubts.
[00:03:30] I believe there's a lot of people Donald Trump's putting in place that are not good people.
[00:03:34] He's being swamped by the deep state once again, like he was in 16.
[00:03:38] I should say 17.
[00:03:39] He'll be swamped again in 25.
[00:03:41] I wish it weren't true, but I'm just seeing it everywhere in his picks.
[00:03:44] We'll get into that as the broadcast unfolds.
[00:03:47] Hour two of yesterday's show.
[00:03:48] We still had James Edwards with us, and we talked about Pete Henseth's mother accused
[00:03:53] of the son of mistreating women for years.
[00:03:56] New York Times.
[00:03:57] Now, the interesting thing is Pete's mom's coming out now going, hey, I said that back in 17,
[00:04:03] 18 range.
[00:04:04] It wasn't good, but now things are different.
[00:04:06] He's a changed man.
[00:04:08] Isn't it always interesting?
[00:04:10] Whenever these guys run for office, they're a changed person, aren't they?
[00:04:13] Oh, man, he just went from just a hellion to just a, I'm telling you, every woman's catch.
[00:04:20] I just don't buy it, folks.
[00:04:23] All right, now Pete Henseth's wife's under attack.
[00:04:27] That's interesting, too.
[00:04:29] We talked about Vivek Ramaswamy having a big stake in BuzzFeed.
[00:04:34] I find that fascinating.
[00:04:35] He literally bought 7.7% of the company at first, cost about $4 million.
[00:04:43] Then he increased his stake.
[00:04:45] According to the filing, Vivek Ramaswamy spent $4 million the first time.
[00:04:50] So he's probably five or six million into BuzzFeed now.
[00:04:53] BuzzFeed's a clown show.
[00:04:54] I don't see how they're worth like $200 million, but that's what they claim.
[00:04:58] And what I find interesting about it is that Vivek bought in when it was worth about $60 or $70 million only.
[00:05:04] So he got in at a great deal.
[00:05:05] Almost owns 10% for his investment.
[00:05:09] Now his investment's probably worth, oh, I don't know, $17 million.
[00:05:13] He put in probably five or six.
[00:05:14] So, you know, doing very well.
[00:05:16] Who gave him the guidance on that investment?
[00:05:18] Don't know.
[00:05:19] But I don't understand why you would invest in those companies, though.
[00:05:22] All right, NBCUniversal sold their BuzzFeed stock after Vivek bought his.
[00:05:27] So that's interesting.
[00:05:28] You're driving out some of the bad guys.
[00:05:29] That's good news.
[00:05:31] But I find it just fascinating how we continue to do this.
[00:05:35] And Rand Paul, Ron Paul, all these guys do this.
[00:05:37] Whenever they run for office, whenever they want to promote something, Donald Trump doing this, Elon Musk doing this, now Vivek Ramaswamy doing this.
[00:05:43] They always invest in the enemy media.
[00:05:45] So why do we let the enemy build the media?
[00:05:47] The enemy built X or Twitter, right?
[00:05:49] They gave Dorsey and clowns $44 billion for the thing.
[00:05:56] Now Vivek investing in BuzzFeed.
[00:05:58] You know, why do we let the liberals, our enemies, build and then we supposedly buy them from them?
[00:06:04] Why don't we build something for a change?
[00:06:06] The only one who's built something that I can see is Donald Trump, Truth Social.
[00:06:12] Good for him.
[00:06:13] Now, I know his product isn't as far along as others, but that can change.
[00:06:18] Anyway, I built my own news media service.
[00:06:22] So, you know, I do at least, you know, practice what I preach, right?
[00:06:26] Let's just say it like that.
[00:06:27] Now, is my, you know, offerings as big as theirs?
[00:06:30] No, not even kind of.
[00:06:33] I didn't spend $6 million like Vivek Ramaswamy or $44 billion like, you know, or how much ever Donald Trump had to spend to build his apparatus.
[00:06:39] I did figure out, though, that I was probably spent since I've been in radio, since I started in, well, I really started in radio like 91, 92.
[00:06:47] But I bought a radio station in 96 is when the FCC granted me license to a radio station.
[00:06:52] So I've been in it for a long time.
[00:06:54] But over the last however long I've been in radio, I've probably spent $2 million.
[00:07:01] So about a third of what Vivek put in all at once.
[00:07:06] And I would say that over the 30 years, you could say, well, Sam, your submissions are just tiny compared to these guys.
[00:07:11] These guys are real players.
[00:07:12] You're just a...
[00:07:13] And my response is, I don't think so.
[00:07:16] Are you better off as a flash in the pan and say a BuzzFeed, put in $6 million, pull out at some point, make a bunch of money and leave?
[00:07:23] How much have you done for the country, for society, for the world, for honesty, integrity, to promote God, family and country?
[00:07:32] Okay.
[00:07:33] BuzzFeed has nothing but a bunch of weird articles on it.
[00:07:36] A bunch of stuff about makeup and how to buy products and how to give people super personal feeling gifts, but not really commit personally.
[00:07:42] You know, weird stuff like, hey, how do you send an illicit text to somebody but make sure it's not your boss?
[00:07:48] You know, this kind of weird stuff.
[00:07:49] Okay.
[00:07:50] I don't see any value in any of that kind of stuff.
[00:07:53] You could say, well, Sam, at least there, you know, a lot of eyes and ears are on their stuff.
[00:07:57] And my response is, over the last 30 years, how much do you believe that I've influenced society?
[00:08:03] And when I say I, I shouldn't even really mean Sam Bushman.
[00:08:06] I should say we.
[00:08:07] Because Liberty Roundtable is my show.
[00:08:10] LRT Shorts, that's my video channel.
[00:08:13] But I'm only a teeny part of what we've built.
[00:08:15] I mean, you look at Liberty News Radio, the radio network that I've built.
[00:08:19] And you've got all kinds of talk show hosts that are making a huge difference.
[00:08:23] Right?
[00:08:24] I mean, you've got James Edwards.
[00:08:28] You've got all kinds of people.
[00:08:30] Right?
[00:08:32] And they're making a huge difference.
[00:08:33] Lou Moore.
[00:08:36] Just a bunch of great people.
[00:08:37] Alex Newman.
[00:08:39] You know, you look at the weekdays.
[00:08:41] Kate Daly, Sam Bushman, Dave Krieger.
[00:08:43] We're making a huge difference.
[00:08:45] Right?
[00:08:45] And so, you know, it isn't only just about me.
[00:08:47] But how much of a difference have we made versus what kind of a difference, say, a BuzzFeed makes?
[00:08:51] They might have a hundred times of viewership, which I don't believe for a second.
[00:08:56] But, you know, based on the sales and the partners and the advertisers and the money generated, probably so.
[00:09:02] Whether it's real or not, it's hard to tell.
[00:09:05] Because I'm convinced a lot of these companies take massive losses and they can do it for, you know, forever.
[00:09:09] I mean, the satellite radio industry has taken losses for years and years and years, but they just keep on cranking.
[00:09:15] Sirius XM is a big thing.
[00:09:17] Even though, should it be?
[00:09:18] It's questionable.
[00:09:19] But anyway, I digress.
[00:09:20] I'm just saying that how much difference can we really make and what difference have we made?
[00:09:26] You know, then we've basically been able to help promote the Constitutional Sheriff's and Peace Officers Association.
[00:09:31] How big of a difference has that group made?
[00:09:34] And we just got that clown sheriff from Florida to withdraw his name.
[00:09:39] Now, do we take singular credit for that?
[00:09:41] No, we don't.
[00:09:41] Were we seriously one of the big players to push for that and get it done?
[00:09:45] Without question.
[00:09:46] It's not debatable.
[00:09:48] So you look at that and you go, why do all the conservatives don't build much?
[00:09:52] They don't build things.
[00:09:54] I do.
[00:09:55] Donald Trump does.
[00:09:56] But most people just don't.
[00:09:58] And I really think that what we need is an infusion of cash into a lot of the conservative small guys.
[00:10:03] I mean, look at the folks over at the Big Mig and the incredible work they're doing.
[00:10:06] They're on the weekend on Liberty News Radio as well.
[00:10:09] They do their own video shows and just great stuff on X, on Rumble.
[00:10:16] I mean, just tremendous stuff, right?
[00:10:18] Look at the work they're doing.
[00:10:19] And so we've collaborated with some incredible people doing some just amazing things.
[00:10:23] And we've done it just for pennies.
[00:10:26] I mean, even if you were to take all of Alex Newman's work and my work and the Big Mig work and Dave Krieger's work and Kate Daly's work.
[00:10:32] And even if you put all 20 of us into the mix, I'd be surprised if we've spent $6 million.
[00:10:40] And that's just a tiny investment from Vivek, right?
[00:10:44] AOC claims she's the first person on Blue Sky to get a million followers.
[00:10:49] Well, so we gave a bunch of money to Jack Dorsey and now he comes back and builds Blue Sky.
[00:10:54] Another nail in our coffin, right?
[00:10:56] Wow, what a disgrace that is, huh?
[00:10:58] This is a battle.
[00:10:59] A battle between truth and deceit.
[00:11:02] A battle between forces that would enslave this country in darkness.
[00:11:06] And between a media that wants to present you with the truth.
[00:11:09] We are being censored.
[00:11:11] America's news outlets no longer provide the truth.

[00:13:15] Freewatercoinco.com is what it's called now.
[00:13:17] Freewatercoinco.com.
[00:13:18] You have a friend in the honest money business.
[00:13:20] Hi, Brian.
[00:13:21] Hey, how you doing, Sam?
[00:13:22] I'm doing fantastic, my friend.
[00:13:24] Thanks for joining me.
[00:13:25] There's so much going on.
[00:13:27] Now the big question is Joe Biden, after he already pardoned his son Hunter.
[00:13:30] Even the Democrats are feeling betrayed on that one because he made promises over and over and over.
[00:13:35] So did all of his administration personnel.
[00:13:38] You know, Joe will not pardon.
[00:13:39] Hunter will not.
[00:13:40] No, no, no, no.
[00:13:41] Boom.
[00:13:42] Pardon over the weekend.
[00:13:43] Joe said his son's being absolutely unfairly targeted is why he had to do it.
[00:13:47] But even the Democrats are feeling betrayed on that.
[00:13:50] But now the question is this.
[00:13:52] Is Biden considering, quote, preemptive pardons for Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney, Anthony Fauci, and others is the question right now.
[00:14:03] And I'm telling you right now, he can do whatever he wants because there seems to be no accountability.
[00:14:09] I bet he does it.
[00:14:10] I bet we will be shocked at how many pardons he leaves with.
[00:14:15] Well, that circus show continues to move forward.
[00:14:21] We've seen so much of this talk is cheap and speak out of both sides of your face.
[00:14:27] And we'll continue to see it, I'm sure.
[00:14:30] You know, that agenda and their policies have been all about that.
[00:14:36] So, yeah, I don't know what you can believe anymore.
[00:14:40] Yeah, my question maybe, if I can, Sam, ask you a question, is how long is there – the question is if he pardons, for instance, his son.
[00:14:53] Is there – down the road, is there still where they could bring him in for questioning or even accusing him of other things that's happened where they could put him behind bars or others perhaps?
[00:15:10] Fair question.
[00:15:11] I just don't have any confidence that anybody good will be left alone and anybody bad will go to jail, right?
[00:15:19] I mean, I know that sounds so negative, but I just can't help it.
[00:15:23] Yeah.
[00:15:24] And I've just seen so much that it's like – can I think anything different, to be honest with you?
[00:15:29] No, I think you're right.
[00:15:31] I mean, it's just the way it's been.
[00:15:33] You know, we keep watching this over the last number of years.
[00:15:36] It's just – it's been that way.
[00:15:37] They put people in jail that shouldn't be in jail.
[00:15:39] They put – you know, they attack if you say something or do something that doesn't go along with their agenda.
[00:15:47] And, you know, and it's wrong.
[00:15:49] And yet we don't see – that's the kind of the word – let's go back to the word accountability.
[00:15:53] We've been talking about accountability forever.
[00:15:56] And we just don't see it.
[00:15:58] No one wants to step up and support, you know, wrong's wrong and right's right.
[00:16:04] And, yeah, we just don't get the accountability from it.
[00:16:06] So it is – it leaves the question unanswered.
[00:16:09] And you would think, you know, if we're really going to talk about, hey, we're going to make America great again, you would think it would contain two components.
[00:16:18] One of them would be transparency, accountability, responsibility, whatever words you want to use for that, right?
[00:16:24] The other one would be turning to God Almighty.
[00:16:27] And when I say transparency, accountability, you know, all that kind of stuff, it means that, you know what, criminals go to jail because they're criminals, right?
[00:16:34] Accountability, transparency, we believe that, hey, something bad happened.
[00:16:36] There's bad actors everywhere.
[00:16:38] You can't stop that.
[00:16:39] But you can make sure that we deal with it appropriately to where we send a clear message that, one, this won't happen again or, you know, we'll reduce the chances that it happens again because there will be swift justice.
[00:16:49] And then, secondly, the idea that, hey, you know what, we can trust government because when something goes wrong, they will resolve it appropriately.
[00:16:57] Okay, that's one – two, turning to God.
[00:16:59] If we don't have those two components, in my humble opinion, in a Make America Great Again plan, I don't see how America can be great again.
[00:17:07] I think it's just absolute baloney, nothing but, you know, messaging without any real action.
[00:17:12] In other words, it's all just smoke and mirrors, Brian, all of it.
[00:17:16] Yeah, there's so much corruption in that in there that I agree with what you're saying here.
[00:17:22] This country was built on those God, you know, putting God first in this country, and we've gone away from that.
[00:17:31] We've pulled it out of everything.
[00:17:32] We can't use it if we say it.
[00:17:34] Well, you can't.
[00:17:36] You know, you're stepping on my rights as I don't believe in anything or whatever.
[00:17:42] I mean, we've taken it out of the equation, and so it's left our country in a mess, and I think we need to get back to that.
[00:17:48] But I agree, transparency and accountability and back to God.
[00:17:53] I agree.
[00:17:55] All right.
[00:17:55] I want to talk about some of the picks that Donald Trump has made.
[00:17:58] Many of them are a big concern for me.
[00:18:00] I don't know if you know, but there was a sheriff.
[00:18:01] His name is Chad Chronister.
[00:18:04] He is in Florida.
[00:18:05] He's a guy that shut down a pastor for trying to hold church and arrested him back in the day with no law.
[00:18:11] Anyway, Donald Trump tried to make him his DEA pick.
[00:18:13] We pushed back at the Constitutional Sheriff's and Peace Officers Association.
[00:18:17] We wrote a press release and everything else, and we shut him down.
[00:18:20] He withdrew his name.
[00:18:22] Nice.
[00:18:23] I like it.
[00:18:24] So that's a good start, but it's not enough.
[00:18:27] Anyway, a lot of the picks President Trump is picking, some of them are good.
[00:18:31] Most of them are bad.
[00:18:33] So Trump picks Jared – I don't know how you say his name – Eichmann, I think that's how you say it, or Eichmann,
[00:18:42] a billionaire private astronaut to lead NASA.
[00:18:45] Now, the interesting thing is this is the first private citizen to walk in space, they claim.
[00:18:51] So, you know, I don't even know much about this guy, but Donald Trump seems to be surrounding himself with the following people.
[00:18:57] People in government everywhere.
[00:18:59] People in the media everywhere.
[00:19:02] And people that are rich as all get out everywhere.
[00:19:05] And I kind of look at it and go, are those three categories going to make America great again?
[00:19:09] The rich, the government, and the media?
[00:19:14] I don't mean to be rude, but I don't see it, Brian.
[00:19:17] I just don't see – okay?
[00:19:19] I mean, the rich, they're not going to look out for me.
[00:19:22] They're the ones that are compromised and think they're kind of the cat's meow and their pride come up before the fall kind of stuff.
[00:19:27] I mean, they're so pompous and, you know, whatever.
[00:19:30] Okay?
[00:19:31] They're also going to enrich their own pockets.
[00:19:32] That's what they do.
[00:19:33] They don't, you know, really want to just reach down and help out Sam Bushman or you or whatever.
[00:19:37] Okay?
[00:19:38] And then you look at government.
[00:19:39] These are the guys that wrecked the country in the first place.
[00:19:41] They're all going to be put – and then you go, oh, yeah, let's put those government folks in there, the rich people.
[00:19:45] Hey, let's draw from Congress and the media and stuff.
[00:19:48] Are you kidding me right now?
[00:19:52] And they tell you change is on the horizon, brother.
[00:19:55] That's right.
[00:19:58] That's good.
[00:19:58] I love it.
[00:19:59] I mean, you're –
[00:20:00] You know, people will be like, oh, Sam, you're sounding like a Democrat.
[00:20:03] No, I'm not.
[00:20:03] I'm sounding like an American.
[00:20:04] I don't have a partisan gig.
[00:20:06] I'm not interested in that.
[00:20:07] I'm just telling you how can you draw from these groups and expect a lot of good to happen.
[00:20:13] All right?
[00:20:13] So this guy's a billionaire, private astronaut.
[00:20:16] Okay?
[00:20:16] He doesn't have anything in common with me.
[00:20:18] Here's the next question.
[00:20:19] If we're going to get to the bottom of a JFK assassination or get to the bottom of the, you know, any of these kind of things, the Oklahoma City bombing or the Trade Center or whatever you want, you know, 9-11 or whatever these things are,
[00:20:31] if we're going to – you know, they say, oh, man, we're getting all this information about now unidentified flying objects.
[00:20:36] We're going to go ahead and UFOs and get to the bottom of all that.
[00:20:39] Okay, so here's my question.
[00:20:40] Now that you've got this private astronaut dude that supposedly walked in space, are we going to have somebody just release all the files relating to if we went to the moon and all the real deal of our space programs?
[00:20:49] Is that what's going to happen with this billionaire guy?
[00:20:52] No.
[00:20:53] It's not going to happen.
[00:20:55] Okay.
[00:20:55] All right.
[00:20:56] Just kind of saying.
[00:20:57] Because I look at that and I go, this billionaire, he ought to get it done, right?
[00:20:59] I mean, he's one of us.
[00:21:00] You know what I'm saying?
[00:21:01] It's like, wow.
[00:21:02] How dumb are we?
[00:21:04] All right.
[00:21:05] Trump nominates cryptocurrency ally Paul Atkins as secretary chairman.
[00:21:11] Do you know who this guy is?
[00:21:13] I don't know much about him, you know.
[00:21:16] So, yeah, fill me in here, Sam.
[00:21:19] I'm looking at a picture of him, but I don't know much about him.
[00:21:22] All right.
[00:21:22] Well, first off, you think the guy's poor?
[00:21:27] You think the guy's just like going, hey, man, glad I got this job because it's going to get rough out here.
[00:21:32] It's going to help me.
[00:21:33] Okay.
[00:21:35] First off, this guy's super pro crypto.
[00:21:40] Now, I've been telling people not to involve yourself in the crypto.
[00:21:47] Now, this guy's a pro business, former federal regulator.
[00:21:53] A pro business, former federal regulator who's friendly to the cryptocurrency industry.
[00:22:03] Now, are you comfortable with that kind of a phrase, that kind of a background?
[00:22:07] This guy's been in government before.
[00:22:10] Right?
[00:22:10] He's going to share the Securities and Exchange Commission.
[00:22:14] He was a former FCC commissioner or whatever as well.
[00:22:18] And you just go, I don't see how on earth this guy's going to basically stand for what we believe in.
[00:22:26] Do you, Brian?
[00:22:27] I don't see it.
[00:22:28] Well, that's it.
[00:22:29] You know, he's part of that agenda, I think, prior.
[00:22:33] You know, like you said, Trump's pulling in a lot of these people and trying to maybe move very quickly just trying to, you know, because obviously time is – they predict he's only got a year to really get things turned around.
[00:22:44] And perhaps, you know, it could be the same mistakes.
[00:22:48] You know, Trump jumps in here and just throws people in and wanting them to accomplish, you know, what he wants to accomplish.
[00:22:54] But it seems awful quick and maybe we're not looking at maybe smart tips.
[00:22:59] We're doing the wrong people and I'll tell you why.
[00:23:01] Let me give you an example just so you understand.
[00:23:03] This guy, this Paul guy we're talking about right now, not only is he a big rich guy, not only has he been government before, but he was the SEC commissioner from 2002 to 2008 under President George Bush.
[00:23:17] He's a lawyer.
[00:23:19] He's the co-chair of the Token Alliance.
[00:23:22] He's a cryptocurrency advocate.
[00:23:25] He's been in government forever.
[00:23:29] You think that guy's really going to stand for us in anything we want?
[00:23:32] I think he'll lead us straight off the cliff into a cryptocurrency rejecting the dollar, Brian.
[00:23:37] Yeah, you're right on.
[00:23:39] I mean, that looks like that's kind of the answer.
[00:23:42] And maybe that's – you know, Trump's trying to look and say, okay, the dollar's going to collapse per se.
[00:23:48] It's worth hundreds of trillion, $100 trillion in debt.
[00:23:52] And perhaps they're saying, well, the savior is going to be crypto.
[00:23:55] So we've got to throw a guy in there that knows this crypto.
[00:23:58] That's probably maybe his pick or that thought.
[00:24:01] I don't know.
[00:24:02] I have two guys that might be pretty decent.
[00:24:05] I'll name them, then we'll talk about them when we get back.
[00:24:08] Peter Navarro will be joining his administration as a senior counselor for trade and manufacturing.
[00:24:16] Trump was in the first – I'm sorry.
[00:24:19] Peter was in the first administration.
[00:24:21] So he's been in government before, but he might be a good guy.
[00:24:25] Also, Trump picks Jameson Greer as U.S. trade representative.
[00:24:30] And I know people that know Jameson, and I think he's a good guy.
[00:24:33] So there might be some hope there.
[00:24:35] We'll talk about it in a second.
[00:24:36] So you are listening to Brian Rust and yours truly.

[00:29:01] Reserving the right to object.
[00:29:02] I lived for four months in Asheville, worked at the VA hospital, still have fond feelings for Western North Carolina.
[00:29:08] But the thing is, is the reason why we won't do this in a responsible way is because the Senate voted to send all your money to Ukraine.
[00:29:13] I mean, they voted to send $200 billion to Ukraine.
[00:29:16] I've been all over the mountains of Appalachia when I ask people,
[00:29:19] would you rather that your senators take care of you here in Asheville or here in Pikeville, here in Appalachia,
[00:29:25] or would you rather them send your money to Ukraine?
[00:29:27] I don't get anybody wanting to send a penny to Ukraine.
[00:29:29] Look, you can have all kinds of sympathy in the world for Ukraine,
[00:29:32] a hostility towards Russia being the aggressor nation, but we don't have the money.
[00:29:35] We're $2 trillion in the hole.
[00:29:37] Interest this year is going to be $1 trillion.
[00:29:39] And as far as passing this, I'm willing to let it pass today.
[00:29:41] He's going to object to passing his own bill today simply because it gets paid for.
[00:29:47] I'm willing to let the bill pass, but take some of the fluff and boondoggle subsidies from the Green New Deal
[00:29:53] and put it into here.
[00:29:54] The money's sitting here.
[00:29:55] We put it into here for disasters.
[00:29:57] We help Asheville today.

[00:30:36] You've got a friend in the honest money business.
[00:30:38] So Trump nominates Peter Navarro, which I think is a pretty good pick.
[00:30:42] Trump also picks Jameson Greer, which I think is a good pick for U.S. trade representative.
[00:30:48] Navarro will be trade and manufacturing and everything else.
[00:30:51] I think those are actually some pretty good picks.
[00:30:53] He's making a couple of good picks along the way, but people think most of them are good picks,
[00:30:56] and believe it or not, 80% of them are bad picks.
[00:30:59] We're putting the billionaire class.
[00:31:00] We're putting the media class and the former government class all into government.
[00:31:05] Every one of these people that I've just named has been in government before, Brian.
[00:31:09] Every one of them.
[00:31:11] Yeah.
[00:31:13] Yeah, it's hard to say, Sam.
[00:31:15] I don't know really who's his group right now that are kind of throwing names out there,
[00:31:22] and they're pulling these names in, and I would hope they'd be discussing these people.
[00:31:28] But is it a circle?
[00:31:29] Is it a circle of names because they're in that circle?
[00:31:32] Yeah, I don't know.
[00:31:34] It's interesting to see.
[00:31:35] Well, I think the answer is yes, and I think we can go to a couple of the next couple of picks
[00:31:39] to make the point, do you know who Kelly Loeffler is?
[00:31:42] Kelly Loeffler.
[00:31:47] No, I'm not sure.
[00:31:48] Just so you know, she's going to serve as the administrator of the Small Business Administration, the SBA.
[00:31:54] Okay?
[00:31:54] Okay, yeah.
[00:31:55] Well, she's a former senator and a billionaire.
[00:32:02] Okay.
[00:32:03] So what do you think?
[00:32:04] You're going to run small business for you.
[00:32:05] Billionaire, former senator.
[00:32:07] Is that what I mean?
[00:32:08] So now this person's got two of the boxes.
[00:32:10] I don't know if she's been a media person or not, but she's been in government before, and she's a billionaire.
[00:32:16] You know, you could say, well, Sam, come on, the rich can, you know, they know how to make America rich.
[00:32:20] Now, most of these people got rich because they've got government positions or media positions
[00:32:24] or they've somehow been able to, like Elon Musk's wealth has all come from partnering with the government,
[00:32:29] so it's all subsidized and everything else.
[00:32:31] Most of these people aren't really rich because their own hard work and just incredible, you know,
[00:32:36] business acumen or anything like that.
[00:32:39] Right?
[00:32:40] Right?
[00:32:40] All right.
[00:32:40] Well, guess who's going to leave the IRS?
[00:32:42] You know, I thought we should shut down the IRS, Brian, but they're not doing that.
[00:32:47] Why not?
[00:32:48] Okay.
[00:32:48] Well, because they just, you know, a lot of talk, not a lot of, you know, walk.
[00:32:52] See, the rich and the famous and the powerful and the government and the media people love to use the IRS to just shut you up.
[00:32:59] Right.
[00:33:00] You start talking, Brian.
[00:33:01] We'll just stick the IRS on you, okay?
[00:33:03] I mean, believe it or not, I've got sound bites where Barack Obama even joked about that in front of a crowd.
[00:33:09] Joke's on us, right?
[00:33:12] Apparently.
[00:33:12] Wow.
[00:33:13] Okay.
[00:33:13] So here's the next guy.
[00:33:14] Listen to this.
[00:33:15] Guess who's going to run the IRS?
[00:33:18] Former congressman in government.
[00:33:21] Former congressman Billy Long will be appointed to serve as the commissioner of the IRS.
[00:33:27] So now you've got Billy Long.
[00:33:30] What's Billy Long's net worth?
[00:33:31] I just have to go look up every one of these to kind of get a handle because they're just popping these people out so fast.
[00:33:37] You know, I don't really know who all of them are by just, you know, right?
[00:33:46] I don't know how to just all of a sudden just know everything about every one of these people, but I don't trust them.
[00:33:52] Every one of them.
[00:33:53] Why do we have to have a guy in the IRS that was former government?
[00:33:59] Can't we have like a private sector guy?
[00:34:06] Well, I think we probably could.
[00:34:09] Oh, I guess.
[00:34:11] I think one of the problems that, you know, I think is the fact of it.
[00:34:14] They look at these because they have, they call it experience.
[00:34:19] These people have experience.
[00:34:20] Now, whether these people are coming to.
[00:34:21] No, that's the experience I don't want.
[00:34:23] They've ran the country off the cliff.
[00:34:24] Their experience is worthless.
[00:34:26] That trading card is absolutely trash.
[00:34:30] Worthless.
[00:34:30] You have no credibility on that.
[00:34:32] In fact, when you put that up and claim you've been in government and you have experience or the media, you know, the mainstream press, you have experience or, you know, government, you have experience or anything.
[00:34:41] To me, that's the biggest negative you can put on your resume.
[00:34:44] Don't ever do that.
[00:34:45] Yeah.
[00:34:46] Well, no, I agree with you, Sam.
[00:34:48] I think it's the comfort or feel good that they can suppress the other side.
[00:34:57] Let's give them a little bit of the feel good, which I don't know why, you know, that game that's being played.
[00:35:03] But that's it.
[00:35:04] Well, they have experience and let's give them a little bit of the feel good.
[00:35:07] No, that's not what we want.
[00:35:08] We want to get rid of the IRS, you know, the Federal Reserve and all the, you know, things that are killing us.
[00:35:15] I mean, big thumb just pushing on us all the time.
[00:35:19] And, yeah.
[00:35:20] See where we're at?
[00:35:21] This is another.
[00:35:23] Now, let me just explain.
[00:35:25] Poor Billy.
[00:35:25] Compared to a lot of these people, he broke.
[00:35:30] Yeah, he's only got a net worth of like three mil.
[00:35:33] Yeah.
[00:35:35] Well, don't misunderstand me, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:35:38] I don't have a problem with people working hard and getting wealthy.
[00:35:44] And I don't believe for one second just because you're wealthy that you're a bad guy.
[00:35:48] But don't we learn in the Bible, Brian, that a rich person, you know, being able to return to God is kind of like threading the eye of a needle?
[00:35:57] Aren't we told that?
[00:35:59] Yeah.
[00:36:00] They don't need God.
[00:36:02] That's for starters.
[00:36:03] And, you know, when we talk about rich, then when you've been in government before the media before, both of those make you rock star status.
[00:36:10] So if you're wealthy and you're in one of those other things or if you have double those things, just say, like in the case of this Kelly Loeffler lady or guy or whatever.
[00:36:20] Is it a lady?
[00:36:21] I think it's a lady.
[00:36:22] Yeah.
[00:36:25] You go, okay.
[00:36:26] So you got a billionaire and you got a person that was a senator.
[00:36:30] You think they're going to be like humble and running the country thinking about the small guy?
[00:36:35] Okay.
[00:36:36] You put business and rock star together.
[00:36:37] I just don't see it.
[00:36:39] Okay.
[00:36:39] So Billy Long, too.
[00:36:40] You got a former congressman.
[00:36:41] So he's famous because he's a congressman.
[00:36:43] Been there for over a decade.
[00:36:45] It's a long time in government there.
[00:36:46] And how do you as a congressman all of a sudden have this net worth like this?
[00:36:50] Three million plus dollars or whatever and this kind of stuff.
[00:36:52] And now you're going to run the IRS?
[00:36:56] I just, anyway, I don't mean to be offensive.
[00:36:59] I don't know how to even cover all this because I don't mean to attack people because they have money.
[00:37:03] There's nothing wrong with working hard and having the American dream.
[00:37:05] But most of these people, the way they got their money, isn't the hard work we're talking about.
[00:37:09] Isn't the clear private sector, the free enterprise system at work, the American dream, the greatest economic engine ever known to man just rolling?
[00:37:17] It's not that.
[00:37:18] And that's my problem with it, Brian.
[00:37:21] Yeah.
[00:37:21] No, I agree 100%.
[00:37:23] What do we know about Jameson Greer?
[00:37:25] I don't know too much about him except for I know that he's been around before.
[00:37:29] He is an attorney.
[00:37:30] And I actually have friends that actually know him well and say he's an honest person.
[00:37:34] So I really don't know a whole lot more than that except for if he's an honest person, that gives me a lot of confidence.
[00:37:39] A veteran.
[00:37:40] It looks like he's a veteran.
[00:37:41] Yeah.
[00:37:43] And so, yeah.
[00:37:44] And I doubt Jamie is an attorney, well-known attorney, and deal with international trade and anything else.
[00:37:48] I doubt he's broke either.
[00:37:49] I bet he's quite wealthy too.
[00:37:52] And again, you know, like I said, I don't have a problem with people being wealthy.
[00:37:55] I don't have a problem with people doing well.
[00:37:56] I'm just a little concerned of how these people get their wealth.
[00:37:59] You know, you roll it as a congressman and you're nobody.
[00:38:01] And the next thing you know, hey, 10 years later, you've got a pretty good net worth and you're going to be launched to the top echelons of the country.
[00:38:07] And, you know, this kind of stuff.
[00:38:08] And, hey, the money just rolls.
[00:38:10] And it's like, you know what?
[00:38:11] We're being governed by, you know, Donald Trump is putting the rich in power and rich and famous in power in place for sure.
[00:38:18] You know, every one of them has got a lot of money.
[00:38:20] Every one of them has got former ties to government as far as I can see.
[00:38:25] I mean, can you name anybody that he's named to his administration where you're like, oh, my gosh, that guy's just a flat-out private sector, never been in government guy.
[00:38:33] Or that guy's never been in the media or never been in government.
[00:38:36] Or that guy's not even rich.
[00:38:38] He's just the average Joe.
[00:38:39] He makes $100,000 or $50,000 or whatever like the rest of us.
[00:38:42] And he's just the average Joe.
[00:38:44] Can you think of a one?
[00:38:47] Yeah, I wouldn't be able to name those.
[00:38:50] I got a thought, though, Sam.
[00:38:53] Sure.
[00:38:54] Does he put some of these – now, I'm not saying this is the case, but would he put some of these in place?
[00:39:01] Maybe he feels like he has somewhat of a control over what they're going to accomplish,
[00:39:07] but also in the sense of they might need some financial backing in case they're attacked by – like he's been attacked
[00:39:16] and the amount of money that he's had to protect himself by throwing out there to protect these lawsuits and pay out these fines and all this.
[00:39:28] Is that – am I drawing it?
[00:39:29] And I would answer by saying – I would answer by saying this, Brian.
[00:39:33] It's a sad tale to tell, but I think you've got a valid point.
[00:39:37] And I think you're spot on on this.
[00:39:38] I think he's kind of going, hey, these people can basically scrap me, take them to the mat.
[00:39:42] You want to play lawfare?
[00:39:43] These people can defend themselves.
[00:39:44] You better stop, and you better stop now.
[00:39:46] There's something to that.
[00:39:47] And I think it's a sad tale, but I think it's true.
[00:39:50] Yeah, I agree.
[00:39:51] It's not a good – that's a sad tale is right, but I wonder if that's possibly some of it.
[00:39:55] I don't know.
[00:39:57] Yes, it's also possibly some of it that – you know, Brian, don't you think that you would put people in place
[00:40:02] that you feel like you rub shoulders with and that you know?
[00:40:06] Yeah.
[00:40:07] Okay, and so for you, you wouldn't put billionaires in because you don't rub shoulders with the billionaires all the time, right?
[00:40:12] They're not just your average layfair kind of circle.
[00:40:16] You know, you'd put average Joes in there.
[00:40:19] I'm not saying everybody's broke.
[00:40:20] I'm not saying that.
[00:40:21] They might do well for themselves.
[00:40:22] They might even have a net worth of $2,000,000 or $3,000,000 or whatever.
[00:40:24] I don't think that's a big deal either.
[00:40:26] For crying out loud, I bought my house for $150,000.
[00:40:29] Now it's worth a half a million.
[00:40:30] And if I, you know, have it paid off, then, wow, there's a half a million in my wealth already.
[00:40:34] So, you know, that doesn't really impress me too much.
[00:40:37] But I'm just saying you've got the average Joes around you, not just billionaires.
[00:40:41] I don't even know that I have a – I don't even know that I have a personal relationship with a billionaire.
[00:40:46] Hang tight.
[00:40:47] Let's talk about that with Brian Rust, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:40:49] This is critical about the administration that Donald Trump is building.
[00:40:53] And then I got a story to talk about it in seconds.
[00:40:55] A warning, if you will, from a representative.
[00:40:58] We'll talk about it.

[00:42:29] Ask an Immigrant.

[00:42:58] All right.
[00:43:06] All right, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:43:07] So my question, Brian Rust, we're talking about this.
[00:43:10] Why does it seem that everyone Trump selects is either wealthy, like uber wealthy though, wealthy, former government, former media, or a combination thereof?
[00:43:24] I just don't understand it.
[00:43:26] It's crazy.
[00:43:28] Anyway, Texas rep Chip Roy is in the news.
[00:43:31] And Chip Roy is a pretty good guy, I think.
[00:43:33] I'd have to go check what his net worth is, by the way.
[00:43:35] Again, I just wish I had a big staff like some of these other guys.
[00:43:38] You know, the fact checkers could have checked that on the break for me and I'd have all those answers.
[00:43:42] But I can only write my notes and do all these things at once the best I can here.
[00:43:48] But Chip Roy is a warning.
[00:43:51] He says this, quote, I think that Republicans in Congress are going to give, quote, lip service to Donald Trump to backing the president's agenda.
[00:44:03] And then behind the scenes, they're going to be stonewalling him at every turn unless some of us kick them in the butt and force them to do it.
[00:44:09] Make them deliver, he says.
[00:44:11] Do you want to respond to this warning, Brian?
[00:44:15] Well, that could be the case.
[00:44:16] I mean, they could, you know, they want to come out and said it's not going to be easy for him to accomplish some of these things.
[00:44:24] And so, yeah, you know, obviously they could.
[00:44:29] It's kind of what we're seeing anyway.
[00:44:31] We're seeing both sides of their face, right?
[00:44:33] They're speaking out of both sides.
[00:44:35] So one minute they're saying this, but then they're not, you know, doing this.
[00:44:38] Or then they're saying something else to somebody else.
[00:44:41] It's just kind of a circus.
[00:44:43] And so we're probably going to see some of the same kind of thing go on.
[00:44:46] I'm hoping that some of these people, you know, getting them in there will have a, you know, will be able to maybe turn the tides.
[00:44:54] You know, you really hope it's just not a circus or there's so much, you know, stuff thrown out there that we can't make heads or tails of it.
[00:45:01] As we've seen over the last five or six years, we've talked about some of this stuff.
[00:45:05] One minute it's there and then they change it off.
[00:45:09] The news from this segment over here and move it over here so you don't remember what's happening over here.
[00:45:14] And then they're over here.
[00:45:15] It's like a three ring, four ring, six ring circus.
[00:45:18] You can't really watch it all at once.
[00:45:20] And I hope it's not the case.
[00:45:22] But, yeah, I don't know.
[00:45:25] One thing I would say, Sam, is who would you put around you?
[00:45:29] Your name would be the top of my list.
[00:45:31] So you might not know these big, but I'd put you on that cabinet, you know, maybe addressing the news media.
[00:45:38] If they come out with their questions, you'd tear them apart there.
[00:45:42] But there would be a number of things that we could put you in place, you know, Sheriff Mack, others that could be real helpful in this agenda.
[00:45:51] Well, and that's kind of my point is that, you know what?
[00:45:53] I mean, I appreciate that's Donald circles, though.
[00:45:55] And that's the problem that Donald has is, you know, his circles, his whole life has been New York, which is totally out of step with the rest of the country.
[00:46:02] It's been, you know, dealing with the unions, totally out of step with most Americans lives.
[00:46:08] Most Americans don't want unions.
[00:46:09] They want the right to work.
[00:46:10] They don't want to be in a forced union of any kind.
[00:46:12] Some like unions and say they're fine.
[00:46:14] And I'm fine with unions if they're not forced unions.
[00:46:17] In other words, if they don't beat your head and if you don't comply kind of stuff, I'm cool with them.
[00:46:20] I don't mind having a work group that says, hey, let's upset the boss's power a little bit.
[00:46:24] But it should be free association kind of stuff.
[00:46:27] Right.
[00:46:27] That's the point.
[00:46:28] Anyway, I digress, except to say, you know, so Trump's New York.
[00:46:31] Trump's OK.
[00:46:32] Trump's celebrity.
[00:46:33] Oh, so I need to add that to my group.
[00:46:35] You know, you could he might put a celebrity in place if you've not been in government or a media person or something.
[00:46:40] But see, this is what I mean.
[00:46:41] All these people are running the country.
[00:46:43] And it's pretty much and I don't want to say we despise these people because I don't hate anybody.
[00:46:47] But all these people are from the category that aren't going to get the job done for the average American.
[00:46:52] They don't even know what it's like to be an average American.
[00:46:54] Really?
[00:46:55] Now, some of them say, well, I grew up dirt poor and now they're riches out snot and stuff.
[00:47:00] OK, that's a J.D.
[00:47:02] J.D.
[00:47:02] fans kind of a story or whatever.
[00:47:04] I mean, I get it.
[00:47:04] Some of them might have an inkling.
[00:47:06] But most of them aren't true blue Americans, Brian.
[00:47:09] They're just not.
[00:47:11] Yeah.
[00:47:11] Yeah.
[00:47:12] Well, they had to play the game.
[00:47:14] I mean, in getting to where they were, they had to play the game.
[00:47:16] And that's that's one of the problems we have back there.
[00:47:19] If you're not part of the game or the good, good old boys club, you really can't accomplish anything.
[00:47:25] That's kind of what I've seen.
[00:47:27] You know, yeah, you got to play the game.
[00:47:30] I know you don't want to vote for this bill because it has this, this and this in it.
[00:47:34] But you got to vote for that bill so that when you do that and you put your this, this and this and this, that I'll vote for that.
[00:47:40] You know, they kind of they want to, you know, I'll help you.
[00:47:43] You pat my back.
[00:47:44] I'll pat your back and we'll kind of move through this.
[00:47:47] And that's why why we're in such a mess is we've got so much, you know, pathetic, pathetic junk in these bills that we don't even know what we're doing anymore.
[00:48:00] It seems like sadly, I agree.
[00:48:05] I don't really know how to respond to it.
[00:48:06] I just I just see it and it concerns me greatly.
[00:48:09] And I don't bring it up now to attack Donald Trump.
[00:48:11] Believe it or not, compared to Kamala, I think Trump's phenomenal.
[00:48:14] I'm grateful that he won.
[00:48:15] Believe it or not, I think Trump's got a lot of good things that he's done in his life and to his name and his former president.
[00:48:20] I get that.
[00:48:21] I agree with all that.
[00:48:22] I just, you know, speak up right now because, hey, by us speaking up, we were able to get rid of that bad sheriff, that clown sheriff ahead of the FDA or the the DEA.
[00:48:32] Drug Enforcement Agency.
[00:48:33] We're able to shut that appointment down.
[00:48:35] And so my goal is to shut down bad people and to push for and promote good people.
[00:48:41] So we just named two people that I thought were pretty good.
[00:48:44] Right.
[00:48:46] Right.
[00:48:46] Peter Navarro.
[00:48:48] Jamie Greer or Jameson Greer.
[00:48:49] OK, I believe those are two good picks.
[00:48:51] OK, I believe that Cash Patel is probably one of the better ones to lead the FBI when I would have picked somebody else or whatever.
[00:48:57] But, you know, hey, it's a start.
[00:48:59] I do believe he's made some good picks.
[00:49:01] And I'm grateful for those picks.
[00:49:03] But when there's bad picks, I've got to speak up.
[00:49:05] And if we can change the game, look, maybe Trump doesn't know they're a bad pick.
[00:49:08] Maybe, for example, on the sheriff, he went, oh, geez, I thought I was I was told by some advisors that guy was a good guy.
[00:49:13] I'm sure glad to hear from the Constitutional Sheriff's and Peace Officers Association.
[00:49:16] And I'm sure glad to hear from people who are in the know that that guy's not a good guy.
[00:49:19] I'm grateful that we dodged a bullet on that one.
[00:49:22] See, that's what I'm hoping.
[00:49:23] I don't mean just to complain and attack Donald Trump and and say he's a bad guy.
[00:49:28] I'm just telling you, he picks from those around him.
[00:49:31] Back to what we were saying right before the pause, Brian.
[00:49:33] You know, who's around you?
[00:49:34] Do you even know billionaires by, you know, first name basis?
[00:49:36] And I mean, how many of them do you even know personally?
[00:49:39] Yeah, I don't.
[00:49:41] I mean, I know how many billionaires could you literally call up and say, hey, it's Brian.
[00:49:44] And they'll be like, oh, hey, Sam.
[00:49:45] Or hey, Brian.
[00:49:46] Hey, how's it going?
[00:49:47] What's up?
[00:49:48] I don't know a single one, right?
[00:49:50] I've got I've got a couple that I could tell one was my neighbor.
[00:49:55] He was my neighbor.
[00:49:57] And and, you know, you know, you know, you know, his son.
[00:50:01] And he was with his son when he when he founded this in a block away from my house is where they started Qualtrics.
[00:50:11] Yeah.
[00:50:11] And was this guy?
[00:50:12] Did he earn his business in the government?
[00:50:15] He did not.
[00:50:16] He did not.
[00:50:18] OK, so this is the difference.
[00:50:19] Now you're talking about people that have made wealth because of the great economic engine, because the free enterprise system.
[00:50:23] See, I'm OK with that.
[00:50:24] And I can name some multimillionaires that are in that category.
[00:50:27] Right.
[00:50:28] But see, all these people that are partnered with the government have got rich on the government's back or got rich because they've been inside government or inside the mainstream media or inside this and that and whatever.
[00:50:36] These are the people.
[00:50:37] I don't know a single one of them.
[00:50:38] I don't have any of them that I can even call.
[00:50:40] Now, there's plenty of them, I'm sure, that know my name.
[00:50:43] Why do I say that?
[00:50:44] Because they act like I'm a nobody and they don't know me.
[00:50:46] But yet they make decisions and they do things that tell me they know plenty.
[00:50:50] Right.
[00:50:51] Right.
[00:50:51] It's very interesting.
[00:50:52] For example, if I'm a nobody, why would Steve Bannon even care if he works with Sam Bushman or not?
[00:50:57] Who would care about little old Sam Bushman?
[00:50:59] That means nothing.
[00:51:00] That's right.
[00:51:01] They don't want anything to do with you, but they want to attack you on the other side.
[00:51:05] They don't.
[00:51:06] Yeah.
[00:51:07] You know, you got to go.
[00:51:09] Why?
[00:51:09] Because if you're just Joe Blow, if you're not really influential and you don't matter.
[00:51:12] Right.
[00:51:12] Then why?
[00:51:13] I mean, who cares if Sam Bushman's there?
[00:51:15] Yeah.
[00:51:16] You know, the guy on the street, Ronald McDonald, just say, you know, I mean, who cares if he comes in or not?
[00:51:22] Who cares if he sits down at the table in the back corner?
[00:51:24] Who cares?
[00:51:25] Right.
[00:51:25] Nobody cares.
[00:51:26] Okay.
[00:51:26] So there's a reason.
[00:51:27] So I just find it fascinating.
[00:51:30] This duplicitous kind of reality just shocks me.
[00:51:33] All right.
[00:51:33] We got to get to the honest money report, Brian, before the end of the hour.
[00:51:36] Thanks for indulging me on this.
[00:51:38] But, man, I'm really frustrated with a lot of this stuff.
[00:51:40] All right.
[00:51:40] Let's see.
[00:51:41] Where's gold sitting, sir?
[00:51:43] Gold's 2645.80.
[00:51:47] 2645.
[00:51:47] What was it?
[00:51:49] 0.80.
[00:51:50] 0.80.
[00:51:51] Got it.
[00:51:52] And silver?
[00:51:54] 31.29.
[00:51:56] 31.29.
[00:51:58] How has that changed, Brian?
[00:52:01] Well, we've been – the silver's kind of coming up a little bit.
[00:52:04] It dropped down into the 30s.
[00:52:06] So it was 30.4, 30.5-ish.
[00:52:10] And now we're 31.29.
[00:52:13] So that's up a bit, a little.
[00:52:15] And your gold is – it dropped back down when Trump was elected and came down a bit.
[00:52:22] And now it's hovering.
[00:52:24] We're kind of just hovering in this 26, 50, 45, 70, 30.
[00:52:30] You know, that kind of yo-yo is kind of where that is as well.
[00:52:33] So –
[00:52:34] Now, I'm pushing for Donald Trump to back our system with gold, whether he embraces the digital
[00:52:39] currency or not.
[00:52:40] To me, if we backed everything by gold, I don't mind a median of exchange that can deal with
[00:52:44] modern society.
[00:52:45] In other words, if I've got to pay somebody in Georgia, how do I do it?
[00:52:47] If I have a Filipino working for me somewhere, if I have a Russian working for me, how do
[00:52:51] I pay them or whatever?
[00:52:52] I don't have any problem with that international need for trade.
[00:52:55] I guess my point, though, is that we need to have it backed by constitutional currency at
[00:52:58] the least.
[00:53:00] And so I would push Donald Trump, whatever he does, to look at – even BRICS is doing
[00:53:04] this, by the way – look at partially and ever increasingly backing your currency with
[00:53:09] honest money, Brian.
[00:53:11] That's exactly right.
[00:53:12] So your traditional currency continues to lose purchasing power.
[00:53:15] So it's – you know, the dollar just isn't buying what it used to.
[00:53:19] Compared to what – you know, gold continues to shine as – you know, and these metals as
[00:53:26] another, you know, investment, but it's the world's most reliable form of money.
[00:53:30] So it – and that – you know, the saying that we kind of push, you talk about in the
[00:53:34] stores, you know, it's not so much the investment, you're going to get rich quick type thing.
[00:53:39] It's buying power.
[00:53:41] My quarter today, like when I was younger, bought a gallon of gas for a quarter, still
[00:53:45] buys me a gallon of gas for a quarter.
[00:53:48] See, and that's the difference from the quarter in the teal that won't get me a Coke.
[00:53:52] That's the learning curve right there.
[00:53:55] Ah, Coke.
[00:53:56] All right.
[00:53:57] That's good news.

[00:54:10] I pray for all these people.
[00:54:12] I pray that you're right, that they do have the ability to, you know, work with Donald
[00:54:16] and that they really will.
[00:54:16] There's a side of them I don't know.
[00:54:18] I just have my concerns, and I know the worst ones.
[00:54:20] We've got to drum out while we have an opportunity.
[00:54:22] We've got kind of a window of opportunity to make a difference, and we're taking it, sir.
[00:54:27] Right on, Sam.
[00:54:28] You talk the truth, and that's all you – you're looking for the truth.
