[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West.
[00:00:18] You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show.
[00:00:24] All right, happy to have you along my fellow Americans, Sam Bushman live on your radio.
[00:00:29] Hard-hitting news the network refused to use, no doubt starts now.
[00:00:33] This, my fellow Americans, is the broadcast for October the 9th in the year of our Lord 2024.
[00:00:40] This is Hour 1 of 2, the goal always to protect life from the video and property,
[00:00:45] to promote God, family, and country.
[00:00:46] They do so on your radio in the tradition of our founding fathers.
[00:00:50] As you know, we reject revolution.
[00:00:52] Unless it's a Jesus revolution, then we're in because we follow the Prince of Peace.
[00:00:55] Welcome to the broadcast.
[00:00:56] We've got a Barnburner show today, to say the least.
[00:00:59] Ladies and gentlemen, we've got Lance Migliaccio with me.
[00:01:01] Welcome to the broadcast, sir.
[00:01:03] Hey, good morning, Sam Bushman.
[00:01:05] Happy to be here as always.
[00:01:06] Love the Liberty Roundtable listeners, and I love doing the show with you.
[00:01:10] All right, we also have George Ballantine with us.
[00:01:13] Welcome to the broadcast, George.
[00:01:15] Thank you, Sam.
[00:01:16] It's always a pleasure.
[00:01:17] Hello, Liberty Roundtable listeners.
[00:01:19] Sorry, I've been MIA for a few weeks, but I'm here.
[00:01:23] I'm always with you guys in heart.
[00:01:25] That's all I got to say.
[00:01:26] In spirit.
[00:01:27] Yes, sir.
[00:01:27] We appreciate it.
[00:01:28] We realize sometimes, you know, the problem is if we all just, you know,
[00:01:32] had someone give us a check, you could be here every time, George.
[00:01:34] George, the problem with it is we all have to make a living in addition to the service we provide, right?
[00:01:39] Unless somebody wants to adopt me.
[00:01:40] So I am putting myself up for adoption.
[00:01:43] I'm housebroken.
[00:01:44] I'm healthy.
[00:01:45] I can fix anything in a house.
[00:01:47] I can build your house if I want to.
[00:01:49] And he brought this up to me, and I said, but the problem is he talks back, Lance.
[00:01:53] Yeah, you know, at the end of the day, there is some downside with it.
[00:01:55] He is handy, though.
[00:01:57] I will give him that.
[00:01:57] He's a handy guy.
[00:01:58] He has a lot of skills.
[00:01:59] I just don't know about the consequences of having to listen to him all day like I do.
[00:02:04] You are these.
[00:02:05] He's cheerful, though.
[00:02:06] I'm going to give you guys a bonus, right?
[00:02:08] Here's a bonus for all your listeners.
[00:02:10] I was recently baptized.
[00:02:13] Congratulations.
[00:02:15] So that's a bonus.
[00:02:16] I think that will take away my, from what you guys say, talking back.
[00:02:21] Yeah, I'm a work in progress, though.
[00:02:22] I'm not perfect.
[00:02:23] I'm sorry I'm not Sam Bushman, but it's okay.
[00:02:24] You too?
[00:02:25] You're a work in progress, too?
[00:02:27] Alan Jackson taught about that, and I'm part of the deal.
[00:02:31] Congratulations on your baptism.
[00:02:32] Now, that's excellent news in my mind.
[00:02:34] Thank you.
[00:02:35] Now, what I've got to do is get Lance to follow suit.
[00:02:38] You might have a better chance of, huh?
[00:02:41] No, I was already baptized years ago.
[00:02:44] When?
[00:02:44] I mean, obviously, when I was a baby.
[00:02:46] So was I.
[00:02:47] But how can you accept Jesus in your heart and forgive him of your sins when you don't even know what that is when you're a baby?
[00:02:54] That's the point of it, Lance.
[00:02:56] But that's okay.
[00:02:56] Hey, Lance is an even bigger work in progress.
[00:02:58] We'll get to him.
[00:02:59] Hey, you know what?
[00:03:01] Jesus ain't giving up on any of us people.
[00:03:03] You got to like that, right?
[00:03:05] Yeah.
[00:03:05] I do.
[00:03:05] And speaking of Jesus, though, we're going to get to a scripture and to our guests in mere seconds.
[00:03:09] But I just want to say this, speaking of, you know, religion and everything else.
[00:03:14] The Milton storm is barreling down on the Floridians.
[00:03:20] And our prayers are with every one of them.
[00:03:22] We pray that somehow this storm can slow down, decrease whatever words need to be used to describe less impact, if you will.
[00:03:31] And so we need to just pray for these people.
[00:03:33] I don't care what religion you are.
[00:03:34] I don't care what.
[00:03:35] All I know is this.
[00:03:36] Turn to a higher power than oneself.
[00:03:37] And it ain't government, by the way.
[00:03:39] And you know what?
[00:03:40] Hope and pray and believe in and meditate or whatever you do that somehow we can avert trouble here.
[00:03:47] Lance, you want to respond to that?
[00:03:49] Yeah.
[00:03:50] I mean, there's no doubt.
[00:03:51] I mean, obviously, with everything going on right now, obviously, I think you always have to turn to God.
[00:04:01] I mean, let's face it.
[00:04:02] We're in the fight of our life.
[00:04:03] Those people in Florida, obviously, this Category 5, I don't think it slowed down.
[00:04:08] We're talking about nearly 200 mile an hour winds.
[00:04:11] There's going to be some really serious devastation.
[00:04:13] So turning to God is really, yeah.
[00:04:15] And there's nothing our government can do or people can do, obviously, when something like this happens.
[00:04:20] And by the way, I was going to say, hold on.
[00:04:22] I was going to say, you can't turn to your government because look what they're doing to the people of North Carolina.
[00:04:27] Nothing.
[00:04:29] In fact, they're getting in the way, George.
[00:04:31] Yeah, they are.
[00:04:33] But you know what?
[00:04:33] You can't stop patriotism.
[00:04:35] You got that right.
[00:04:37] Liberty or freedom is popular, said Ron Polanyi.
[00:04:39] Spot on.
[00:04:40] I'll tell you this, though.
[00:04:41] The reason I point to Lance on this is, you know what?
[00:04:43] I feel like I'm a pretty good judge of character.
[00:04:47] Okay?
[00:04:47] I'm a different kind of guy than most.
[00:04:49] And I don't get to see everybody.
[00:04:50] But I do get to kind of feel people's spirits and know who people are a little bit from their persona, their aura, their who they are.
[00:04:57] Okay?
[00:04:58] I've got this sixth sense.
[00:04:59] And Lance may not be the religious guy to put it on your sleeve and run around thumping the Bible guy.
[00:05:04] But I'm convinced Lance knows his God, though.
[00:05:07] So let's give a little credit where credit's due, Lance.
[00:05:10] Well, I appreciate that.
[00:05:12] You know, I think.
[00:05:12] But I think to really know God, I think you have to have actually.
[00:05:15] I haven't always been the guy I am.
[00:05:17] And I think at some point in your life, you have to make that transition.
[00:05:20] You have to make a choice.
[00:05:22] And I think hopefully through that, since you've seen both sides and you've been a different person, I think hopefully, you know, I'm doing a better job now.
[00:05:30] And I'm trying to pay attention to what's needed.
[00:05:32] And I'm trying to save this country.
[00:05:34] You know, I'm concerned about where we're at.
[00:05:36] I'm concerned about the fact that they've taken God out of the school system and they've taken God out of the halls of our government, it appears.
[00:05:45] And at this point, I think what it's going to take is people like us, people like this show, Liberty Roundtable Live and the Big Mac Show.
[00:05:52] And we're going to have to continue to educate and unify the country because we sure can't trust what this government is up to.
[00:05:58] I think Maui, Ohio, and North Carolina have proven that without a shadow of a doubt, Sam.
[00:06:05] The government's derelict in their duty, to say the least.
[00:06:08] They're either missing in action in some cases and or hostily problematic in other situations.
[00:06:13] One of the biggest areas that they have become, in my mind, hostily problematic is when it comes to our education system.
[00:06:21] You've mentioned, Lance, that your life has been trending more towards good, honest, moral, upright principles and ideas.
[00:06:28] And you know what? That's the benefit of, you know, us all being on the earth is, you know, God gives us grace to to grow, to learn, to change, to decide what's important to you know, that happens to all of us.
[00:06:39] And I bring that up because of the government seems to be doing exactly the opposite with our education system.
[00:06:46] And with that introduction, Lance, why don't you introduce our guest?
[00:06:50] Yeah, I mean, I'm excited about this.
[00:06:52] We're obviously joined by Shirley Miles.
[00:06:55] I love what she put here in her bio.
[00:06:58] Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.
[00:07:02] And that obviously started off her life and it really resonated with her.
[00:07:07] She obviously wanted to grow and actually participate in what our government and our founders and framers had created.
[00:07:14] So she went through high school, obviously won awards there, went on to work.
[00:07:21] She worked four jobs to pay for her own college.
[00:07:23] She enrolled in Air Force ROTC and obviously won awards from the Daughters of the American Revolution, which is interesting.
[00:07:30] I won an award for an article, a paper I wrote when I was in grade school from them in New York.
[00:07:35] Anyway, she became she was actually asked to join the Air Force pilot program and accepted it.
[00:07:41] She trained in T-38 fighters and talks about how she still is barfing from that.
[00:07:47] Still some nauseam.
[00:07:48] But anyway, she has been fighting.
[00:07:50] She worked for our government.
[00:07:51] And like many of us, it was attacked from inside.
[00:07:53] But she had an unbelievable career.
[00:07:56] She worked within roles in missile defense, aerospace, NASA, telecommunications, construction, acquisition industries.
[00:08:01] She served in leadership roles under a United States president, traveling the world with his voice, met with presidents abroad, served on the management team of General Colin Powell.
[00:08:11] I mean, the list just goes on and on.
[00:08:13] She's a very proud mom.
[00:08:15] She feels like that's probably one of her most important jobs, if nothing.
[00:08:18] And what she's doing now is fighting the wokeness.
[00:08:22] So hold on, Lance, really quick, just so you know, the whiplash from the flights are nothing compared to the whiplash and the abuse you're going to take, the nausea you're going to have from dealing with government and the woke education agenda.
[00:08:35] She ain't seen nothing yet, right?
[00:08:37] There's no doubt.
[00:08:38] I mean, she's in a battle royale because she's trying to fix this broken education system.
[00:08:42] I'm going to let her talk about that, though.
[00:08:44] Obviously, we all know there's a problem with the Board of Education and what's going on across our country.
[00:08:49] I believe it's a grooming operation to corrupt our children.
[00:08:54] Anyway, I just want to say, Shirley, welcome to Liberty Roundtable Live.
[00:08:58] We're so very happy you joined us this morning.
[00:09:02] Well, thank you so much.
[00:09:03] I appreciate it.
[00:09:04] I am so excited to be here with the Liberty Roundtable listeners.
[00:09:11] And thank you so much for that introduction.
[00:09:15] Yes.
[00:09:16] I'm the founder of Women United to Save the Commonwealth.
[00:09:20] And the good Lord just put that on my heart and mind to get that thing started.
[00:09:25] Because of the destruction in the education system, meaning the wokeness that is going on,
[00:09:35] our Women United to Save the Commonwealth, we are committed to fostering the genuist potential
[00:09:44] of our children's minds.
[00:09:46] And we refuse to surrender our children to the radical ideology that are destroying America's education.
[00:09:53] So we know that our children, you know, we know our children.
[00:09:57] They are innovators, artists, scientists, engineers, musicians, tradesmen, lawyers, athletes, physicians, teachers, warriors, future parents.
[00:10:07] And we are preparing them.
[00:10:11] And we will prepare them to succeed magnificently, which is not what is going on in the classroom these days.
[00:10:19] All right, Shirley, help me understand this really quick.
[00:10:22] Just kind of to put things together in people's minds.
[00:10:24] You know what?
[00:10:24] You start out dealing with missiles and airplanes and, you know, military kind of thing.
[00:10:30] And next thing you know, you're in education.
[00:10:33] I think the start of that bridge is you became a mom.
[00:10:35] But kind of tell us how that happened for you because the two are so opposite that you go, what?
[00:10:41] Right?
[00:10:42] I know.
[00:10:43] Well, I was thinking that my job was to send my daughter to school and preschool and kindergarten
[00:10:52] and that my job was done.
[00:10:54] You know, I didn't know any better.
[00:10:55] And then the first assignment that my daughter received from kindergarten was to pick a person that made a significant contribution to society
[00:11:06] and play the role, you know, picked, you know, dressed apart.
[00:11:12] It's like being in a theater.
[00:11:14] You've got to act apart, build the props and those kind of things, dressed like the person did.
[00:11:20] And I'm like, how is my child going to independently do that without my help?
[00:11:26] So I sort of jumped right in there.
[00:11:29] And that was it.
[00:11:30] The rest is history because the parents, you know, education starts at home.
[00:11:36] And the parents are responsible for the child's education and working with the teachers to foster a healthy learning environment for our children.
[00:11:48] And so that's how I got started is doing that event, that program with her.
[00:11:56] She had an assignment.
[00:11:58] And, of course, it went very well because we had to do a lot of research.
[00:12:02] And, you know, she was Phyllis Wheatley.
[00:12:06] And she decided to go with that person who was a poet and an author.
[00:12:12] And so it was really nice.
[00:12:15] And then I learned quickly that I had to be involved with every inch of my daughter's education.
[00:12:22] So from there, I was part of the Parents Teachers Association, being right there, helping the teachers and watching what was being taught in the classroom.
[00:12:34] Of course, we could drop in on the classes anytime.
[00:12:39] That's the type of school it was.
[00:12:41] And, you know, she was in public school, started out in Christian school in California.
[00:12:46] And then she was in public school in Virginia.
[00:12:51] And so I did the same thing.
[00:12:54] I was there.
[00:12:55] And I was the education enrichment chair in helping to mentor other parents and with their children and making sure that they were learning and made sure they got their homework out.
[00:13:10] And make sure they were in a safe environment, too.
[00:13:15] So we were fostering a positive learning environment for the children.
[00:13:21] And that was that we had a great parent network.
[00:13:25] So we pretty much knew what the kids were up to most of the time, I would say.
[00:13:31] But nowadays, you know, the wokeness has seeped into the system.
[00:13:36] And they are, instead of saying that came to me is dissecting, you know, when you were in biology, in school, you had to dissect the problems and things like that.
[00:13:48] I don't know if they're doing that anymore.
[00:13:50] I think they replaced that probably with the wokeness agenda where they are, you know, sexualizing the curriculum and teaching more in those areas.
[00:14:02] So that's how I got started with the education system.
[00:14:08] And I enjoyed it.
[00:14:10] I thoroughly enjoyed it.
[00:14:11] I don't have any grandbabies right now.
[00:14:13] But I tell you what, I'm preparing myself for it.
[00:14:18] But I am fighting for your grandbabies, everybody's children in school to make sure we eradicate the wokeness out of our education system.
[00:14:30] So we want to start here in Virginia and then work towards the other states because, you know, Virginia is where America got started.
[00:14:39] And I don't want to.
[00:14:40] Not only is Virginia where America got started, but let's be clear right now.
[00:14:44] Virginia is kind of becoming a bellwether, Lance, for education reform.
[00:14:49] You know, Donald wants to get rid of the education department.
[00:14:51] I applaud him.
[00:14:52] The Republicans have been talking about it for decades.
[00:14:54] Why don't they just do it already?
[00:14:57] But nevertheless, it looks like Virginia has kind of become ground zero for this stuff and for solutions, Lance.
[00:15:04] Yeah.
[00:15:05] And I think what everybody's looking at right now is this bloated, oversized government that these departments, like the Board of Education, like the CDC, like so many other organizations within our government, are doing such an inadequate job.
[00:15:20] So downsizing is part of the big plan.
[00:15:23] I mean, obviously, it seems like our education system, once the Board of Education got involved, it's done nothing but decline.
[00:15:29] So when you look at these kind of, you know, parts of the country, obviously, Virginia, what's exciting is the fact that that's what Trump really has in mind.
[00:15:40] I mean, it makes me think of Mele.
[00:15:41] He's already talked to Elon Musk, and Elon Musk obviously is known for being the downsizing expert, especially after what he did with Twitter.
[00:15:49] Took the staff down to 20 percent of whatever it is, and it hasn't affected X's performance whatsoever in a negative way.
[00:15:56] He plans to bring Musk in to do the same thing.
[00:15:59] At least that's the discussions behind the scenes.
[00:16:01] And I can only hope that the Board of Education is on the chopping block because I don't think many, many of these government institutions, Sam, I don't think they're fixable.
[00:16:09] I think they're so damaged from the top to the bottom that I think you have to basically just start from scratch.
[00:16:16] I couldn't agree more, Shirley.
[00:16:18] What's your experience?
[00:16:19] Do you think, you know, a lot of people just say, oh, we've got to reform.
[00:16:21] We can save it.
[00:16:22] We can, you know, solve it from the inside.
[00:16:24] All we've got to do is get the right people in there.
[00:16:26] Hey, go down to your school board.
[00:16:28] Then we find out from the FBI that, hey, all they'll do is report you as a terrorist and stuff if you do that.
[00:16:33] So, I mean, I think Lance's point is that thing is entirely broken.
[00:16:38] I think the Department of Education is, in my opinion, is broken.
[00:16:47] The thing is, from an analyst standpoint, you know, there are federal money going into the Department of Education.
[00:16:56] Education, and I think we have to really do a critical job evaluating where they are now and where their money has been going to, like those programs and things like that.
[00:17:10] The funding to other agencies, the funding to the state of Virginia.
[00:17:17] What is that money?
[00:17:19] What hasn't bought them?
[00:17:20] And then what the state money is behind the education system.
[00:17:26] Then when you follow the orders, you understand what I'm saying?
[00:17:31] From the money, the budget, the education budget.
[00:17:34] They send the funds to the school system and actually to some other agencies to send that money to the school system.
[00:17:44] So I don't understand why they do that.
[00:17:45] In other words, they should be sending that money directly to the school.
[00:17:49] But we need to see what that money is buying for the education system.
[00:17:58] That's where you're going to map it.
[00:18:00] You understand the mapping piece of it is just like the mapping piece is every little step involved with where that money is going and how it's spent,
[00:18:12] where they're spent on administrative staffing or grant programs or, let's see here, or contractors.
[00:18:21] Mike, they are.
[00:18:22] They are contractors that they award the money to bring about certain programs in the education system for the kids.
[00:18:32] All right, let's get George Ballantyne in here just for a second.
[00:18:35] She's basically saying, hey, the big key to this exercise to expose the criminality in the education system, George, is to follow the funding.
[00:18:43] Amen to that.
[00:18:45] Well, it's always if you want to find the corruption, you follow the money.
[00:18:48] That's always the best way to do it.
[00:18:50] And Shirley was just saying, like, she doesn't understand why the government takes this education money, gives it to another department,
[00:18:57] and then it has to make its way down to the schools.
[00:19:00] Well, that's the best way to keep more government waste, more governmental jobs.
[00:19:05] This is how government waste money.
[00:19:07] This is why we need to get rid of big government and go back to the basics.
[00:19:10] But I just want to touch on something with the education system.
[00:19:14] You notice the fall of communism was because they allowed their public to get educated.
[00:19:20] And when you get educated, they see what communism was really about in Russia.
[00:19:26] This is why they're trying to dumb down our kids, not teaching the Constitution in school.
[00:19:30] Not teaching history.
[00:19:31] How America got started because they want our kids dumb.
[00:19:34] And one of the ways they're doing it is through wokeness.
[00:19:37] Why?
[00:19:38] Because, let's face it, they want more control over everything.
[00:19:41] If you've just seen recently Hillary Clinton and John Kerry were talking about how they need to get rid of 1A
[00:19:48] because it's hurting their way of life, I'm going to say.
[00:19:53] It's hurting their agendas.
[00:19:55] Why?
[00:19:56] Because they fear the truth.
[00:19:58] Because if this administration continues to go for another four years, it's going to be a fight to save our 1A.
[00:20:06] Not only our 2A, but how do you get rid of 1A?
[00:20:09] You go after 2A first.
[00:20:11] It's just a progression of what they're doing.
[00:20:13] And thank God for people like Shirley that's actually stepping up and fighting this process.
[00:20:17] And we need more moms and fathers out there to continue and get in this fight because we don't need dumb kids.
[00:20:24] We want our children to be smart because, let's face it, they're going to be the future of this country.
[00:20:30] All I can tell you is this.
[00:20:32] If you want to speak about 1A and 2A, I think we need a few people to stand up like Shirley's doing, Lance, to whoopee.
[00:20:38] Because we've got to solve this problem or we're seriously in jeopardy of the next generational stability, Lance.
[00:20:46] Yeah.
[00:20:46] I mean, we're in a terrible spot.
[00:20:48] I mean, this government has obviously decided that there are no accountability and consequences for anything they do, Sam.
[00:20:56] I mean, here's what we've got.
[00:20:58] We've got to the point where these government officials and these different agencies within our government, they just operate as if they don't have to answer anybody.
[00:21:07] They operate as if we have this unlimited pool of capital, $35 trillion in debt and counting.
[00:21:13] It's nauseating.
[00:21:15] And they're not doing a good job.
[00:21:16] It would be great if we were getting all the services we were paying for.
[00:21:19] But I think the money is getting stolen.
[00:21:21] It's getting laundered.
[00:21:22] You know, we seem to be in nonstop kinetic events around the globe.
[00:21:27] And what's happening is it's America last.
[00:21:30] You know, I'm always shocked at the reaction to MAGA, right?
[00:21:33] Make America great again.
[00:21:35] They act as if somehow that's not good, that it's a negative, right?
[00:21:39] We all get attacked for it.
[00:21:40] You're MAGA.
[00:21:41] You're a Christian nationalist.
[00:21:43] And this is a fight of good versus evil.
[00:21:45] And if we don't fix this now in the next 26 days, if we don't fix this, we're in serious trouble, in my opinion.
[00:21:53] There you have it.
[00:21:55] Surely, to me, this is a problem.
[00:21:57] We all know about the problem.
[00:21:59] Highlighting it is worthwhile because I think you've connected some dots that I want to make sure people really hammer home.
[00:22:04] And one of them is follow the funding.
[00:22:05] You know what?
[00:22:06] Who's getting paid where, how, why, whom, what, all that.
[00:22:09] Follow that for sure.
[00:22:10] But the next thing that is really important to understand, you know what?
[00:22:13] The schools have changed over time.
[00:22:15] And, you know, folks like me who are, you know, hey, almost 60 and have grandchildren.
[00:22:21] I've got nine grandchildren.
[00:22:22] So, you know, I get a little bit about this.
[00:22:24] You know, we kind of think of school as kind of how it was when we were kids.
[00:22:28] But it ain't.
[00:22:30] And that's kind of the real kind of hammer home that we've got to send the message to the American people and to parents and grandparents about.
[00:22:36] They have literally taken over and perverted the system beyond recognition.
[00:22:43] Isn't that kind of point, too, besides follow the funding people need to understand?
[00:22:49] Yes.
[00:22:50] Let me just say this.
[00:22:51] In the classrooms, our kids' minds are in, for lack of a better word, a straitjacket.
[00:22:59] They are being prevented from being independent and critical thinkers and dreaming like we were.
[00:23:06] When we were in school, they, well, teachers are teaching them how to not to think independently, but to do what I say and think the way I want you to say by bringing in these, the curriculum that are not healthy for these kids, these teenagers.
[00:23:27] You know, they're going through certain things as teenagers and they come from a good home.
[00:23:31] And then when they get in the classrooms, they are taught.
[00:23:35] Well, if you are a boy, you can be a girl or a girl, you can be a boy.
[00:23:41] And the medications and all those things, they are not really teaching the kids like substance, the hardcore mathematics, reading scientists, scientific courses and history and civics.
[00:23:59] You know?
[00:24:00] All right.
[00:24:00] When we come back, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to talk to Shirley M. Miles Moore.
[00:24:04] And we're going to talk about her education summit coming up this Sunday.
[00:24:09] Not a lot of time, but the good news is you can still get tickets, right?
[00:24:17] Women USC.

[00:26:01] And we have a winner in Alaska's Fat Bear Contest.
[00:26:04] In Alaska this time of year, bears prepare for a winter of hibernation.
[00:26:09] And in Katmai National Park and Preserve, that means feeding on the sockeye salmon that return to the Brooks River.
[00:26:17] The bears often perch at the top of a waterfall, grabbing the leaping salmon as they try to spawn upstream.
[00:26:22] It's become a highly popular annual spectacle for thousands of humans who can watch via live cameras at explore.org.
[00:26:31] And that spawned Alaska's Fat Bear Contest.
[00:26:35] This year's winner, Grazer, her second consecutive title.
[00:26:39] I'm Ben Thomas.
[00:26:40] The U.S. Department of Justice is considering asking a federal judge to force Google to sell parts of his business in order to eliminate its online search monopoly.
[00:26:49] And a court filing prosecutor said the judge should also ask Google to give up some of its underlying search engine capacity.
[00:26:58] Breaking news at townhall.com.
[00:27:01] The mayor of Serbia's capital, Belgrade, has called for a change of the city's red buses because, he says, red is the color of socialism.
[00:27:09] Alexander Szapic says the new livery of Belgrade's buses will be Nemanjec blue, a reference to the royal family which last ruled Serbia in the 14th century.
[00:27:18] That's despite a previous public vote for city transport vehicles to be red.
[00:27:23] An extensive repainting program followed.
[00:27:25] But Belgrade's mayor now compares the color to Yugoslav-era hot dog kiosks and he's demanded another respray.
[00:27:32] Critics have questioned the cost and accused Mr Szapic of trying to erase national heritage.
[00:27:37] The mayor also wants to move the remains of the former Yugoslav leader Tito to his Croatian birthplace.
[00:27:44] And that report from the BBC's Guy Delaney, five Russian climbers have died.
[00:27:49] It happened in a fall on the world's seventh highest peak.

[00:30:18] You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable radio talk show.
[00:30:24] All right.
[00:30:25] We are back here with the Liberty Roundtable.
[00:30:28] Sam Bushman is your host, along with the Big Mig brothers.
[00:30:31] Lance Migliaccio, George Bouncing, and our guest, Shirley Miles, who's heading to fight to end wokeness in our schools.
[00:30:38] You know, we're talking about the school systems, and the one word that people you have to look, think about is the public school systems.
[00:30:45] Because in the private school systems where you pay to have your kids educated, you know, they're not bringing, they're not making dumb kids.
[00:30:52] They're actually making smart kids.
[00:30:55] And this is what the money is about with these rich people because they're the ones going to be running our country and continue to keep our kids dumber while the rich get richer and smarter.
[00:31:07] How does that work for the American public?
[00:31:10] It doesn't.
[00:31:12] So we have to have, like, a better education system.
[00:31:15] Just get rid of the feds because the feds, they can't fix anything.
[00:31:18] They just make more of a mess of anything.
[00:31:21] And, Shirley, what are you doing?
[00:31:24] What more, where do you need help or lacking in this fight?
[00:31:31] Okay.
[00:31:32] So what we are proposing is to eradicate the wokeness out of the education system.
[00:31:42] So what we need is a sponsor to help that fight because what the education system need is an oversight asperata, I would say,
[00:31:55] because they haven't really had that, to make sure that the laws are adhered to from the governor, from the legislators down to the superintendent of public instruction.
[00:32:10] There are laws and things that, you know, the district schools have to comply with because where is it in the laws that says the teachers can mentally abuse your children?
[00:32:28] Okay.
[00:32:28] Okay.
[00:32:29] That's what's going on is they are, when a child cannot think independently, it's a problem.
[00:32:37] So the impact, let me just say, the impact of wokeness in the Virginia education system is mental abuse through and thoughts of suicide in young children.
[00:32:47] How many suicides have we had as a result of this wokeness in our education system?
[00:32:54] Okay.
[00:32:55] A, children's problems wear down to the family.
[00:32:58] And you know, because when they leave home, they feel good, but they come to the schools and they are mentally abused by the wokeness.
[00:33:09] The children bring the problems at home and it wears down to family.
[00:33:15] For example, your son is in school thinking independently and a teacher challenged their thoughts and distorts their creativity.
[00:33:24] And that's called intentional emotional distress and feeling of inadequate.
[00:33:31] We cannot have that.
[00:33:34] You know, society suffers from gaining a productive adults when they do that.
[00:33:42] Okay.
[00:33:43] And then sometimes the kids turn to drugs and that kind of a thing, and the parents are wondering what's going on with them.
[00:33:49] But the kids are afraid to disclose these types of things to the parents.
[00:33:54] So we have to really have an oversight.
[00:33:59] And that's the field that I've worked in all of my 40 years of career is compliance and oversight.
[00:34:06] So I'd recommend an oversight.
[00:34:09] You look at the language of the laws and then the policies to make sure that all the ambiguous terms are out, that everything is clear.
[00:34:21] And then that flows, are you following me?
[00:34:23] And then that flows down to the education system.
[00:34:28] Whereas our plan is to monitor what is going on with eradicating wokeness out of the education system.
[00:34:40] Meet with the president every quarter to talk about how well we're doing, straightening all of this out.
[00:34:48] And to make sure that the suburban parents are well involved, intimately involved with these types of change instruction.
[00:35:02] So we have to have, like I say, a critical eye in all of the teachings.
[00:35:10] We have to be sitting in on the classroom oversight of the curriculum so that we can remove those sexually explicit books out of the library and make sure the curriculum is about absolute teaching of the core basics like we had when we were growing up.
[00:35:29] And take all that other, I would say, materials out of the classrooms.
[00:35:37] And I think that could be done immediately.
[00:35:41] They can do an executive order of a cease and desist and push that out.
[00:35:47] But we would have to have an oversight.
[00:35:50] There needs to be an establishment of an oversight aspirator starting here in Virginia.
[00:35:57] We have about 131 school districts that we can actually assign people to with the approval to just to make sure that those things are out.
[00:36:12] We need to have parents needs to have the right to actually go in there and look at those, what's being taught, you know, the curriculum, the books that purchase.
[00:36:22] And then the outside contractors that they hire to come in.
[00:36:26] And what they've done is hire, what you call it, drag queens to come in.
[00:36:30] So that terminates that type of thing.
[00:36:33] And make sure that...
[00:36:35] Yeah, I'm not a fan of drag queen story hour, you know.
[00:36:38] I think the kibosh to the drag queens.
[00:36:41] Yeah, I mean, it's unbelievable, right?
[00:36:44] And it's the grooming.
[00:36:45] I mean, it's the intentional grooming of the children.
[00:36:47] It's things like TikTok.
[00:36:49] It's the fact that you can't turn on, you know, Netflix or Amazon and not have some, you know, woke transgenderism, you know, homosexuality just force fed to us.
[00:37:01] And there's no warning.
[00:37:02] There's no, you know, nobody knows if it's going to pop up in the show, but it seems to be a recurring nonstop theme.
[00:37:08] And the fact that we have to worry about what's in the kids' libraries and schools.
[00:37:13] I mean, Sam, you know, when you really look at the insanity of this and you imagine that I don't even know how many countries are looking at the United States and laughing at us right now.
[00:37:23] It's disgusting.
[00:37:25] Do kids even use libraries anymore?
[00:37:27] Well, no, only if they have to.
[00:37:30] We're talking to Shirley Miles, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:37:33] She's the president and the founder of the Women United to Save the Commonwealth of Virginia.
[00:37:42] WomenUSC.org to learn more.
[00:37:44] Now, they've got an education coming up this Sunday in Virginia.
[00:37:48] If you go to the website, you can get tickets.
[00:37:50] I saw a single ticket.
[00:37:52] I saw a table for 10 ticket.
[00:37:56] WomenUSC.org.
[00:37:57] And what they're going to do is they're going to talk about follow the funding.
[00:37:59] They're going to talk about the woke problems that we face.
[00:38:03] They talk about basically Matthew 18.6.
[00:38:07] But who so shall offend one of these little ones?
[00:38:11] It should be better than a millstone hung around their neck.
[00:38:14] Because you know what?
[00:38:14] That's what's happening.
[00:38:16] And Shirley really brings up something I think is important.
[00:38:19] Listen to this quote.
[00:38:21] Wokeness in the American education system is subliminal terrorism.
[00:38:26] And a threat to our country.
[00:38:30] Shirley Miles with that quote.
[00:38:33] It's true.
[00:38:34] Wokeness is teaching our children to literally hate each other and hate our country.
[00:38:38] To hate their parents.
[00:38:40] To hate everything good.
[00:38:42] Wokeness in the education system is the intentional infliction of emotional distress on our children.
[00:38:48] This is happening in our schools with our money, Shirley.
[00:38:52] Exactly.
[00:38:57] It is happening right under our noses.
[00:38:59] And it's been happening for a long time.
[00:39:02] And it's time to put a stop to that.
[00:39:05] The abuse has been going on.
[00:39:07] And now we see the remnants of it.
[00:39:10] Because if you look at, we're supposed to be training our kids to step up to the plate and take our jobs.
[00:39:18] To be independent.
[00:39:21] To make contributions to society.
[00:39:24] To fill those slots through their education and training of the complex mathematics.
[00:39:31] Some of them will go into trade schools.
[00:39:33] Some of them will go to be, could be the president of the United States, Congress, general position.
[00:39:40] But they are not being trained that.
[00:39:43] And so when America, when the Wokeness come in like that and our kids are not being trained to be independent thinkers, to be inventors, that hinder us.
[00:39:56] And much more, that hinders us from, I would say, replenishing our labor forces in those areas.
[00:40:05] But, you know, as you heard, they are talking about now in some military branches, they're not able to fulfill their quotas.
[00:40:13] Because we are not being, you know, paying attention to these things in the schools.
[00:40:19] They are trying to teach our kids to hate America.
[00:40:24] To not love our country.
[00:40:26] And America is what, I mean, America has nurtured all of us.
[00:40:31] I mean, how can we not love our country?
[00:40:34] We need to eradicate wokeness in our school system.
[00:40:39] And we need to do that immediately.
[00:40:41] Amen to that.
[00:40:42] Go ahead and skip the break, Liz.
[00:40:44] We've got to talk about this is the important women, USC.org to get your tickets.
[00:40:49] So tell us, it's this Sunday all day.
[00:40:52] You've got a bunch of speakers.
[00:40:54] Where's it at, Shirley?
[00:40:56] Okay.
[00:40:56] The event is at Potomac.
[00:40:59] It's got the Trump International Golf Club in Potomac Falls, Virginia.
[00:41:06] That's where it is.
[00:41:09] Potomac Falls, Virginia.
[00:41:11] And let me just give you the address again.
[00:41:13] It is the Trump National Golf Club, 20391 Lowes Island Boulevard, Potomac Falls, Virginia.
[00:41:23] And so go to the website at womenusc.org, and you can make a donation there.
[00:41:31] We really need donations to help because, you know, to fight a cause like this, it takes resources.
[00:41:39] And so we would love to have you come to the event and participate, join us in this fight, because everything, wokeness started and was born under the education system of America.
[00:41:54] They were smart.
[00:41:55] They knew that if they get to our kids in the long term, they would take the kids' mind and they couldn't function.
[00:42:04] So that's basically what they are working on doing right now.
[00:42:07] But we have a time, a chance to stop it.
[00:42:10] So I need you all to join me.
[00:42:13] I'm sorry.
[00:42:15] I need you all to join me and come to our event.
[00:42:19] Come online and to the website and sign up to come.
[00:42:26] Just so people understand, it's in Potomac Falls, Virginia, but it is considered the, what, Washington, D.C., Donald Trump Golf Course?
[00:42:34] Just so people kind of connect the two.
[00:42:36] Don't be confused.
[00:42:37] Yes, it's the same.
[00:42:40] Yes.
[00:42:40] All right, now that's not very far for you, George.
[00:42:42] You can roll down there, right?
[00:42:45] Sure, I can.
[00:42:45] Where, in Jersey?
[00:42:46] Of course.
[00:42:47] Yeah.
[00:42:48] It's like 20 minutes from the house.
[00:43:04] We will.
[00:43:04] Put some, you know, cologne on there, George.
[00:43:06] Put your best, you know, suit on and roll down there, buddy.
[00:43:09] We would love to have you.
[00:43:12] Yes.
[00:43:12] We would love to have you.
[00:43:14] And it's for Mama Bears and Papa Bears.
[00:43:17] Let's put it that way.
[00:43:19] So it's not unique just to women, even though the name is women.
[00:43:23] You know, we cannot do without our men in this.
[00:43:28] So I think.
[00:43:30] Yeah, and Sam, thank you.
[00:43:31] But this is serious business, our children.
[00:43:33] So we have to put that aside.
[00:43:34] This is all for the kids.
[00:43:36] I can't be.
[00:43:37] No, man, you got to be in for the kids.
[00:43:39] You can roll down there.
[00:43:40] So listen, this is important, though.
[00:43:41] This education summit is happening this Sunday.
[00:43:44] It's all day.
[00:43:45] You got to get your tickets now.
[00:43:48] WomenUSC.org.
[00:43:50] And the education summit aims.
[00:43:53] Listen carefully.
[00:43:54] It aims to discuss the pathway to eradicate wokeness from the Virginia education system.
[00:44:03] That's what we need for the whole country, Lance.
[00:44:05] We don't just need this for Virginia.
[00:44:06] We need this in all 50 states and beyond, my friend.
[00:44:09] Yeah, I mean, it's obviously a national issue.
[00:44:12] But, you know, of course, it's great to get the first step.
[00:44:15] I think what Shirley's doing is amazing.
[00:44:17] You know, she's and she's put herself on the line more than once to save this country.
[00:44:22] She's obviously been attacked for it.
[00:44:24] And and I think at this point, what's important is for everybody to unify.
[00:44:28] They have to get out of this whole political belief system that there's actually Republicans and Democrats.
[00:44:33] It's one giant uniparty in D.C. because anybody that isn't having a mental health crisis would have to look at our education system and just look at the statistics of how much it has declined.
[00:44:46] And then look at this this whole rhetoric that's being forced for the kids.
[00:44:50] It's got to stop.
[00:44:51] So, you know, start it in one state and let's move for the rest of the country.
[00:44:55] Let's get Shirley on the obviously the cabinet for Trump and let her work on fixing this system.
[00:45:01] And, you know, I'm happy to be there to drop the axe on some of these people.
[00:45:05] I think when the consequences start to kick in and some of these people start to face the consequences for their actions, it might straighten some of the other ones out.
[00:45:12] But I think we're really going to have to go in there and do some serious cleaning out.
[00:45:16] And that includes the Board of Education.
[00:45:18] So somebody like Shirley, my bets on her, obviously.
[00:45:22] And if you can afford to go to the event, please do.
[00:45:24] And, of course, if you can afford to make a donation.
[00:45:27] And Shirley, one more time, where can they make a donation if they want to support you and the event?
[00:45:33] Okay.
[00:45:34] So they can go on the website at www.womenusc.org.
[00:45:46] And there is a button that says Donation.
[00:45:49] And they can click on that and make whatever donation their hearts desire.
[00:45:56] But this is a very serious issue, and we need to address it, just like you all are saying now.
[00:46:04] We need to address it now.
[00:46:05] We can't wait any longer because, you know, they've been planning this.
[00:46:10] This is subliminal terrorism on the United States government.
[00:46:16] That's what it is.
[00:46:17] By the United States government on the children, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:46:20] Let's be very clear.
[00:46:21] Now, I want people to understand, when you see the USC part or whatever you're kind of thinking it might be like fighters,
[00:46:26] they are fighters.
[00:46:27] It's just kind of a little different.
[00:46:28] They're united to save the Commonwealth of Virginia is what we're talking about.
[00:46:34] Womenusc.org.
[00:46:36] And how did you get this event to be at the golf course?
[00:46:38] I've always wanted to have one of my events at the Donald Trump golf course, man.
[00:46:41] That's all right.
[00:46:42] I like that.
[00:46:44] Well, I just thought that, you know, it would be a central area, a focus point,
[00:46:54] so that, you know, it was just a thought that I had that would be good to have it out there
[00:46:58] because with the president deciding to get rid of the Department of Education,
[00:47:06] then what better place to have this event is at the Trump International Golf Club
[00:47:12] and bring all the people together, the mama bears and papa bears,
[00:47:17] because, you know, we have a significant amount of mama bears in here,
[00:47:23] and they're the ones that pushed Governor Youngkins over in 2021.
[00:47:29] They got – he received 53 percent of their votes.
[00:47:32] And so women in the U.S. are a very powerful voting bloc, I would say.
[00:47:39] And if – and there are more women voters than anyone else, I would say, any men.
[00:47:45] So I think we have to have the women to join, the men and the women join together
[00:47:51] and push this thing because the left is about wokeism and what we are about.
[00:48:00] And it doesn't matter which party you're from.
[00:48:04] When somebody messes with your children, then everybody comes out of the woodwork, okay?
[00:48:12] So that's what we are focused on.
[00:48:14] And everyone wants their child to have a great education and to function in the future
[00:48:21] in the position that God has designated them to be in.
[00:48:26] So we need to do all we can to make sure that they are equipped to move forward in the future,
[00:48:35] just like our parents did us.
[00:48:38] You know, they made sure we went to school, got a good education,
[00:48:42] and then so that we were on our own after we turned to a certain age.
[00:48:46] We need to do that for our children.
[00:48:48] We're responsible – that's a parent's responsibility.
[00:48:51] And we're not going to have any wokeness come in here and mess with our kids' mind
[00:48:55] and say, we're going to take your kids.
[00:48:57] Heck, no, they're not taking our kids.
[00:48:59] We're going to take back our education system.
[00:49:02] That's what we're doing.
[00:49:04] So it's the shock and awe.
[00:49:06] You know, people don't want to hear that word, but yes.
[00:49:09] Parents have to stand up right now and exercise your rightful parental rights
[00:49:16] for making sure that our kids are in a safe and healthy learning environment,
[00:49:23] no matter where we are.
[00:49:25] Now, once we get this done in Virginia, we are talking about all the states, you see.
[00:49:31] So this is our program, pilot program here in Virginia,
[00:49:35] but we're going to be connecting all the other states, too,
[00:49:39] because this is throughout the U.S.
[00:49:42] It's not just here in Virginia.
[00:49:44] So we're fighting for all our parents, mama bears and papa bears.
[00:49:48] You know what's kind of shocked me about this, Shirley,
[00:49:51] is, you know, you would think a lot of the teachers.
[00:49:53] You know, the teachers are in your community.
[00:49:55] They're your neighbors.
[00:49:56] They're your friends.
[00:49:56] They go to your church.
[00:49:57] They go to your community centers.
[00:49:59] They, you know, your kids knock on their door for Halloween.
[00:50:02] These people are in our society.
[00:50:03] How on earth are the educators letting this happen without them throwing up the alarm bells on this?
[00:50:09] That's what's kind of shocked me the most is like what on earth is happening?
[00:50:12] Your neighbors should, you know, come unglued and say this is insanity in the schools.
[00:50:17] They want me to teach that Johnny thinks he's a chick and it's psychotic.
[00:50:21] And they want me to think that, hey, you know, race is whatever.
[00:50:25] And they want me to, and you know what?
[00:50:27] I'm not doing this.
[00:50:28] I'm not for this.
[00:50:29] I'm not, okay.
[00:50:29] But how come for the most part, the teachers and the educators who, you know, the principal,
[00:50:33] the guy down the block that, you know, you celebrate the 4th of July with, he comes over
[00:50:37] for a barbecue or whatever.
[00:50:38] You know, how come these people aren't blowing the whistle on this more?
[00:50:42] Is it just their paychecks?
[00:50:45] Let me just say this.
[00:50:46] From a person that has been in compliance and oversight all my career, I found a lot of it is folks get paid, you know.
[00:50:55] They get bribed.
[00:50:57] They get paid under the table to do these things.
[00:51:02] I'm not accusing anyone.
[00:51:04] But in my line of work that I've done, I've had to cut out a lot of under the table payments when I discovered it.
[00:51:13] And so I can't imagine how someone could let anyone bribe them to hurt America.
[00:51:22] America is being good to us.
[00:51:24] You know, we have now it's time for us to protect America, our education system, because if our education system goes down the tube, so does America.
[00:51:38] George, maybe the reason I don't get it is because I'm from the noncompliant department.
[00:51:41] Maybe that's the problem, George.
[00:51:44] Yeah, well, you know, I'm from the noncompliant department too.
[00:51:48] But, you know, all those little bribes, you know, it's been going on for a long time throughout a lot of different professions.
[00:51:54] And, you know, that's why we follow the money.
[00:51:58] And you have to think about one thing when they talk about, like, going to digital currency when there's no cash and you can't hide that cash under the table.
[00:52:06] Well, that stopped that.
[00:52:07] That's something to be seen.
[00:52:09] Who knows?
[00:52:10] But the only way to do this is expose them.
[00:52:15] That's the only way.
[00:52:16] Yeah, we have to expose.
[00:52:20] That's right.
[00:52:21] We have to expose and disclose what is going on, you know.
[00:52:27] And maybe sometimes you have to look at their bank accounts and see, you know, what's – if they are getting large sums of money.
[00:52:36] But we have to – it boils down to the law, the laws.
[00:52:42] And then look at those laws and see how they're written.
[00:52:45] Are they written in ambiguous terms?
[00:52:48] And then flow down to see what's being issued to the teachers as the development of the curriculum.
[00:52:57] And I guarantee you, looking at the narrative doesn't say anything about teaching the wokeness.
[00:53:03] There's nothing in there.
[00:53:05] But somehow they are allowing it to be there.
[00:53:09] Okay?
[00:53:10] That's what we need to do is pull that right out of there.
[00:53:15] Look at it and just pull that – anything related to wokeness out of the education system.
[00:53:21] All of the redundancies, those contracts that make any sense, that they're not delivering anything of substance to the education –
[00:53:32] the education of our children.
[00:53:36] Yeah, it's going to take a critical thinking oversight apparatus with a critical eye to look into all of these things.
[00:53:44] And I know that I had the responsibility of doing that at one time in my career.
[00:53:51] So the president needs to – if he declares that this is a terrorist act, the wokeism,
[00:54:00] then we can remove –
[00:54:04] I'm going to end on this note.
[00:54:07] It's a term that I've never heard before, so I'm going to have to say,
[00:54:10] Shirley M. Miles must have coined it.
[00:54:13] We're talking about subliminal terrorism going on in your government schools, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:54:19] The term they use is woke, but it's criminal.
[00:54:21] And it's absolutely betraying our children, subverting their hearts and minds away from God Almighty,
[00:54:28] from God, from family, and from country.
[00:54:31] You've got to go to the summit.
[00:54:33] It is this Sunday, womenusc.org.
[00:54:37] It is at the golf club, the Washington, D.C. International Golf Club, Donald Trump.
[00:54:43] Get your tickets, womenusc.org, and God save the republic.
[00:54:47] You've got to go to the beach.
[00:54:47] You and I will be there for New York.
[00:54:47] You can watch.
[00:54:48] We're going to be an episode.
