[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_07]: something about it lance yeah i think i think the movie's great i really think everybody should
[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_07]: watch it yeah child trafficking human trafficking it's a tough subject and it's a dark subject
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_07]: and i get it but i don't think this movie does that i think it gives you hope that there are

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_07]: covered a lot of it on our show you know listen honestly it makes me angry i know these
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_07]: aren't fixable that when i think of solutions are probably on the wrong side of the tracks
[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_07]: because i don't think you can you can solve this with moderate you know moderate uh you
[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_07]: know attempts at fixing it it's i think it takes extreme attempts it takes hard work and
[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_07]: focus uh we talked about it last night on the show sam childers is a big fan of the
[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_07]: movie sound of freedom he's a big fan of what paul's been doing he actually knew who he was
[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_07]: and and i think that's what it takes you have to people have to pull back the veil you have
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_07]: to look at it as much as it might be heart-wrenching because that's how you make a difference because
[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_07]: then you can obviously expand your education and you can focus on paying attention to the
[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_07]: things in everyday life where this is occurring all around us and it's a tough thing paul i and
[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_07]: we talked about that on the show that people want to feign away from the facts well and and
[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_12]: the truth is there's there's things in our own homes and in our neighborhoods that we really
[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_12]: need to be aware of you know it's it's very seldom that a healthy family loses a child to
[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_12]: a kidnapping and they get put in a container ship and moved to another country like what
[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_12]: you see in the movie now that did happen that's happened many times and and we highlighted
[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_12]: actual cases that we had been involved with when we did the movie however the the biggest
[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_12]: challenge for american families is things that happens in their own neighborhood in their own
[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_12]: literally one out of every two women at some time in their life have been a victim of sexual
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_12]: violence one out of every four while they were a child and for men it's a little bit less it's
[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_12]: one in five at some time in our life but even them one fourth of them was under the age of
[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_12]: 10 years old and many of them in their own homes and so you know this is a travesty it's
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_12]: not just the children that are being transported to other countries it's things that are
[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_12]: going to go into depth of what's happening on the border and those those at-risk children that
[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_12]: are being brought from central and south america up into the united states and we'll get to that
[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_14]: as the interview continues but i really want to focus on the appetite for this sadly the
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_14]: united states has the greatest appetite for this it's not just cartels and you know
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_14]: thugs and and you know day-to-day evil people i mean i get that it's evil everywhere but
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_14]: what i'm saying to you is there's an appetite for this in high-echelon circles and in places
[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_14]: that are shocking that's really to me as i've studied more of this and interviewed several
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_14]: people about this and that's really kind of the shocking thing is the what's driving all
[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_14]: this how come it never stops how come it seems to just get worse and the answer is
[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_12]: where the appetite for it is right exactly and that's why they're bringing the the supply to
[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_12]: the demand across the border which we'll talk about later but the appetite you know it's
[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_12]: when we start separating ourselves from our moral foundations when we allow pornography
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_12]: in every home when we sit back and think that something like pornography is a victimless crime
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_12]: when we allow our children in our elementary schools to be teaching the things that they are
[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_12]: when it comes to the over sexualization and the same sex and the transgender stuff all of these
[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_12]: things are leading to this denigration and that's what's pulling us this direction and
[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_12]: it yes there is one of the reasons why i was recruited to do this undercover work is
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_12]: you know i ran a multi-billion dollar real estate investment fund i was a jeffrey epstein
[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_12]: type of a of a financial background in terms of perception and um and that's the kind of thing
[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_12]: that these traffickers were looking for is guys with big arrogant egos and and lust and
[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_12]: pride i found this you know it was interesting sam on my very first mission i i thought that
[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_12]: traffickers would have you know earrings in their noses and tattoos on their necks
[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_12]: the first trafficker i met was a businessman in a polo shirt clean shaven no tattoos the second
[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_12]: one was a was a beautiful um she was a model she was she was running for miss karta hana and
[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_12]: and i thought these aren't traffickers and when i when we started talking i realized holy
[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_12]: shit these guys are selling children selling children and over the years i've led over 70
[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_12]: undercover rescue missions in 15 countries and the common thread across the board not only with
[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_12]: the traffickers but the perpetrators as well the common thread was arrogance and lust and greed
[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_12]: and so we all have to take a look at the in the mirror and say okay i'm and from the brother
[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_12]: or sister next door right exactly exactly that's exactly what's going on is is it's
[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_12]: generational trauma now i'll tell you exactly where it's coming from now don't don't don't
[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_12]: get me wrong here i'm not saying that if you've been abused you're you're going to be an abuser
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_12]: because many many of my operators many of us as men have been through serious trauma
[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_12]: as children and the majority of us the majority of us grow up to be protectors there's no way
[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_12]: that somebody will ever hurt a child on our watch because of the pain that we went through
[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_12]: however however one out of every three people who have been abused as a child one out of every
[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_12]: three if not given the the healing and the help that they need at a young age eventually become

[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_12]: of these these childhood abuse situations that we're seeing everywhere and child trafficking you
[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_12]: you'll find you know people people leave the uh the sound of freedom and they're like oh we
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_12]: want to i want to do something i want to i'm going to go rescue children well the worst
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_12]: thing you can do is go to columbia and try to rescue children you're you're going to get shot

[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_12]: and foster care programs so if you can hold your family together your chances of your child being
[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_12]: trafficked goes way down now let me tell you the statistics of praying one out of every like
[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_12]: 40 percent of all first marriages end up in divorce 60 plus percent of second marriages
[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_12]: 75 percent of third marriages literally over 50 percent of all marriages in the united states
[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_12]: however if you are praying with your spouse every single day that number goes from one in two
[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_12]: to one in 1152 amazing i mean it's one of the most astonishing studies i have ever read
[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_12]: and it doesn't matter what religion you are prayer ladies and gentlemen right so it's
[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_12]: phenomenal in terms of keeping your children safe because it keeps your family together
[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_12]: doesn't matter your background your religion turning to god together as a family will take
[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_12]: it from one in two in a divorce rate to one in a thousand plus of 1152 so and and they say well
[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_12]: what about hugging my kids what does that make well well these children they need to have a
[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_12]: relationship with you as a parent where they can very comfortably come to you and say hey dad
[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_12]: mom i i don't i don't like it when you make me hug uncle harry because he touches me weird and
[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_12]: he says we should have secrets outside of you or or i don't like going to this friend's house
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_12]: because you know her brother is taking pictures of us when we're changing and he says sexual
[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_12]: things to me and says we should meet after school at this place with his friends or
[00:35:04] [SPEAKER_12]: or i don't like this babysitter because she's showing us pornography and tells us that we
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_12]: trust her more than you these are grooming behaviors and we need to have relationships
[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_12]: with our kids where they can come to us most parents don't understand that the majority of
[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_12]: children who are being sold for sex and manipulated in this situation the majority of
[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_12]: them sleep in their own beds at night and their parents are unaware so it's so important
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_12]: that we have that kind of a relationship with our kids where we can have those communications

[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_07]: innermost secrets you know it's just the craziest stuff and why that's being allowed
[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_07]: and then of course my favorite is the new terminology for pedophiles that they want they
[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_07]: they're saying that we aren't going to be able to call them that that they want us to call
[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_07]: them minor attracted persons they've got to frame it in a different way because they
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_07]: want to make it more palatable this constant push paul and i know you probably notice it even more

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_14]: children look them in the eyes have discussions learn about their day discover things are wrong
[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_14]: enjoy things together what do you say is is eating together as important as it sounds
[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_12]: yeah if you put away the cell phones of course i can't tell you how many families you know me
[00:43:59] [SPEAKER_12]: and my wife were we're at a restaurant the other day and we looked around we're like
[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_12]: is there any families that are actually talking you know they got these cell phones
[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_12]: all the kids are just enthralled in their social media being you know is anybody talking
[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_07]: it's incredible right these people go out and they spend time together and then everybody
[00:44:17] [SPEAKER_07]: doesn't matter where you're at they're all sitting on their cell phones not talking
[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_12]: i'm blown away by it paul absolutely and and you as parents need to be asking questions
[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_12]: asking questions every single time you're sitting down with your children if you don't
[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_12]: who their best friends are then you're not being a very good parent you know my my uh
[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_12]: my wife's mother always said to her you want to know who you you want to know who you are
[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_12]: you identify your five best friends and i'll tell you exactly who you are in fact in the
[00:44:48] [SPEAKER_12]: business and the financial world the five people that you spend the most time with
[00:44:52] [SPEAKER_12]: will be the average lifestyle that you have five years from now you know you're hanging
[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_12]: out with with broke people that are that are negative and are on their you know third divorce
[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_12]: whatever else that's probably where you're going to be and so find out who your kids are have
[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_12]: and by finding out who their friends are and and find out really what's going on i you know when
[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_12]: when we do these child rescue missions when we pull these kids out of hell because of the
[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_12]: fact that we know that they were in that horrific situation we can immediately get the
[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_12]: help that they need we we're working on safe houses and a whole bunch of different programs
[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_12]: the world that do that however when a child is in your home and she got abused at recess at school
[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_12]: and all of a sudden her energy changes but you don't ask those questions and she buries it
[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_12]: and she never talks about it the average age of somebody talking about sexual abuse as a
[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_12]: child the average age is 52 years old do you know why because people aren't having dinner
[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_12]: their families and they're not asking those questions and they're not noticing those changes
[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_12]: of behavior 52 that's my age i've raised my kids i've built my career we need to figure out
[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_12]: how to get these children the help that they need and and and especially if they're in an
[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_12]: uncomfortable position with a neighbor or a babysitter or an uncle or whatever else we need
[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_14]: to have those conversations to keep them safe talk to me about a relationship between a father
[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_14]: and a daughter if it's an appropriate good honorable relationship where he's a real man
[00:46:26] [SPEAKER_14]: and teaches his daughter how men should treat women and and how women should behave and
[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_14]: some of these things it can be incredible on the other hand if a father does some of the
[00:46:37] [SPEAKER_14]: wrong things that can go south in a hurry and you find that these women that are these
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_14]: girls that get abused at the young ages especially something happens to them i'm not
[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_14]: take the atonement of jesus christ it's going to take some incredible support groups for some
[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_14]: of this stuff but i don't think that can be underestimated either can it absolutely and
[00:47:00] [SPEAKER_12]: and if how a father treats his wife is everything when it comes to the kids it's everything when
[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_12]: it comes to his sons seeing how that they should show up in their marriages and how
[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_12]: they should treat women and it's and it's also for the daughters as well the two most
[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_12]: important tools that you can give your children to be safe in this dangerous world the two most
[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_12]: important tools are number one a relationship with god that will carry them through the
[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_12]: darkest times and number two high self-esteem and that self-esteem is largely determined
[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_12]: by how their parents treat each other and that that is so important now when it comes to a
[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_12]: relationship with a father and a daughter that is so sacred and it is so important that that
[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_12]: is honored in a very healthy way of course you know inappropriate touching is never ever ever an
[00:47:54] [SPEAKER_12]: option however healthy hugs are vital and so many fathers you know by the time the daughter is
[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_12]: 12 13 years old they're they're starting to feel uncomfortable with that no if it is a
[00:48:05] [SPEAKER_12]: healthy heart-to-heart hug that is children need i think it was like 12 hugs a day for
[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_12]: healthy emotional growth and so that those hugs need to come from a healthy relationship with
[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_14]: their parents you've been in this a long time paul and it's hard to know even what questions
[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_14]: to ask my questions have really been i mean i've interviewed a lot of people about a lot
[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_14]: of these topics and so i i kind of know where to where to focus for healing and solutions
[00:48:33] [SPEAKER_14]: and some of those things you've been at this for a long time though and and i'm sure that
[00:48:38] [SPEAKER_14]: to some degree nothing startles you at this point but i guess my question is are
[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_12]: there new things you're discovering even now absolutely i um you know i did undercover work
[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_12]: for 10 years and uh and and saw the worst that humanity has to offer and in some really
[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_12]: dark places and and the worst things you can imagine the things that startle me now that
[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_12]: public is the resistance of political leaders to do something about it and and it makes you wonder
[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_12]: are they are they involved is this is this something that you know that they have that
[00:49:22] [SPEAKER_12]: they are trying to you know push aside there there's too close to home for them
[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_12]: you know the same reason why we couldn't get the movie distributed through the traditional
[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_12]: Hollywood routes but many of them especially i'm in Latin America right now working on changing
[00:49:38] [SPEAKER_12]: laws and policies throughout the world that the sound of freedom movie allowed us to start having
[00:49:43] [SPEAKER_12]: those conversations good people everywhere were rising up saying do something about this and so
[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_12]: now these government leaders are needing to do something they're saying okay what what do i do
[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_12]: and i'm also amazed at how little they know i was at a country here in Latin America a
[00:50:00] [SPEAKER_12]: big one just about a month and a half ago met with with the um uh the head of the department
[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_12]: of the interior and some other big government leaders and they said they said paul uh can
[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_12]: we be honest with you we don't even know what trafficking is we don't even know where to
[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_12]: start we are completely clueless now for something that's the fastest growing criminal
[00:50:22] [SPEAKER_12]: enterprise in the world for something that is the the second most profitable it surpassed
[00:50:27] [SPEAKER_12]: the illegal arms trade and it's soon going to surpass the drug trade for something that's
[00:50:31] [SPEAKER_12]: that big of a deal it's appalling to me how how few people in in power positions and
[00:50:38] [SPEAKER_12]: government positions know how to do anything about it or even know where to start
[00:50:45] [SPEAKER_14]: to make your point there's a guy i used to interview back in the day from Brigham Young
[00:50:49] [SPEAKER_14]: University literally 25 years ago probably 20 years ago his name i think was Richard Wilkins
[00:50:54] [SPEAKER_14]: and he basically found himself uh testifying in Istanbul on the family and he testified about
[00:51:02] [SPEAKER_14]: the family and he was opposed most believe it or not and undermined most by the leaders of
[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_14]: the United States of America and he was shocked and other countries would come to him after
[00:51:14] [SPEAKER_14]: his speech and say we love what you're doing we want to be part of it what do we do
[00:51:20] [SPEAKER_14]: and so there are people around the world good people clamoring to solve these problems as well
[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_14]: they don't know where to start they don't know where to go they don't know what to do
[00:51:29] [SPEAKER_14]: but they're looking for leadership and guidance but really the United States sadly is the
[00:51:36] [SPEAKER_14]: greatest funded well-funded organizer of undermining real solutions Paul it is well and
[00:51:44] [SPEAKER_12]: it's important to understand that the United States is the number one producer and consumer
[00:51:49] [SPEAKER_12]: of child pornography in the world and we are the demand side you know one of the reasons why
[00:51:56] [SPEAKER_12]: i was recruited over 10 years ago to help lead undercover rescue missions is that that i was
[00:52:01] [SPEAKER_12]: a at the time i self-admitted i was an arrogant wealthy American that these traffickers
[00:52:09] [SPEAKER_12]: were looking for that type of energy and those were the guys who were traveling abroad doing
[00:52:14] [SPEAKER_12]: these horrible things and and i will i'll touch on this as well you know most of us on this show

[00:52:45] [SPEAKER_12]: the votes of a senator of a congressman of a federal judge if you wanted to control their
[00:52:53] [SPEAKER_12]: votes forever get blackmail on them get that kind of blackmail get them get them on a jet
[00:53:00] [SPEAKER_12]: to an island put them on some some drugs and whatnot have them party in and get them on
[00:53:06] [SPEAKER_12]: a 12 year old you do that you do that you control them forever and and it's sad but that's that
[00:53:13] [SPEAKER_12]: you you know you know when your political leaders have been compromised you can tell
[00:53:18] [SPEAKER_12]: you know they get into this this position they're so excited to be able to fight for the people
[00:53:22] [SPEAKER_12]: and then six months later a year later all of a sudden boom they just change now whether
[00:53:28] [SPEAKER_12]: that somebody got them on film with their secretary and is going to show it to their
[00:53:31] [SPEAKER_12]: or whether that's that somebody who that really wouldn't matter but they they need to get some
[00:53:37] [SPEAKER_12]: deeper blackmail on whatever it is blackmail controls these votes and and sadly that's how
