* We Pray for Her Success! - Attorney General Pam Bondi sworn in, vows to end 'weaponization' of Justice Department - USAToday.com
* What is 50501? - "Build the Resistance" website.
The anti-Trump 50501 movement, which originated online, calls for 50 protests in 50 states on the same day.
* The 50501 moderators also partnered with Political Revolution, a PAC and volunteer-only activist organization founded out of the conclusion of Sen. Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign in 2016.
* The 50501 movement and Political Revolution said in a joint press release they are calling for the removal or resignation of President Donald Trump , investigations into his administration appointees including Elon Musk, the repeal of "oppressive" executive orders and the restoration of diversity, equity and inclusion frameworks.
"Our goal is to unite the American people against our common enemy: the Trump administration, anyone involved in dismantling our democracy, and anyone who wishes to divide us by our differences instead of unite us by what makes us American," the joint press release states.
[00:00:14] From atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West, you are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. All right. Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans, Sam Bushman, live on your radio. Hard-hitting news the network refused to use, no doubt, starts now. This, my fellow Americans, is the broadcast for February the 6th in the year of our Lord, 2025.
[00:00:40] Five, promoting God, family, country, protecting life, liberty, and property, doing so on your radio in the traditions of our Founding Fathers. Yes, indeed, we use the blueprint for liberty, the supreme law of the land, the Constitution for the United States of America. That is our guide. As you know, we reject revolution unless it's Jesus' revolution. Then we're in because we follow the Prince of Peace. Welcome to the broadcast, ladies and gentlemen, the checks and balances brilliantly put in place by the Founding Fathers. One of the peaceful, restorative solutions we have at our fingertips.
[00:01:10] As you know, most of us in America that believe in Donald Trump, and I believe in a lot of what Donald Trump does, not all of it, but a lot of it. If it's constitutional, I love it. If it's not, I hate it. So use that guide. I'm not into people, I'm into principles. And if the people are on the right side of the principles, then they're working with me. If they're not on the right side of the principles, that's, of course, as I see them. As you know, everyone has their own agenda. I have mine, too.
[00:01:36] But mine is the supreme law of the land, the Constitution for the United States of America when it comes to the country. The checks and balances, the whole deal of the Founding Fathers. That's my view. A Christian-oriented view to look to God, not government. Right? That's who I am. That's what I do. That's the country. When it comes to the family, I'm on the traditional family viewpoint. A husband, a wife, a mother and a father, if you will.
[00:02:00] Well, male and female credited them, and, well, God put Adam and Eve together, and families were the result. What a blessing that is. Remember, to multiply and replenish the earth has never been rescinded. So this God-ordained traditional family is the key in my mind. The safest, best place for men, women, and children to be. It's the fundamental unit of society. That's where I stand on the family.
[00:02:27] When it comes to God, I believe in a God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Christian principles. Now, does it mean that America can't host or have anybody else that doesn't believe as I do? Of course not. That's not the truth. We don't need a litmus test. What we need is to realize that, hey, if we look to God, and God encourages us to do good, that's fantastic. And if we look to Satan or to our own, quote, desires, oftentimes it goes off the rails. And we don't have the blessings of God Almighty.
[00:02:55] We forget who our author, our creator is, right? That's a problem. So to me, it's right versus wrong, good versus evil. It's God versus Satan. The war in heaven continuing on earth right now is what we're talking about. And my goal isn't to get a gazillion people listening to the radio program so that I'm famous and rich or any of those kind of things. I'm not looking for a gargantum contract with a big, you know, broadcaster for a lot of money. Oh, there's no doubt I've got to make money to support my family.
[00:03:24] I've got eight children and a wife and a bunch of grandchildren. And so, you know, I've got plenty of financial obligations. And, you know, but I don't need to get rich. I'm almost 60 years old. Hey, my career is almost over in terms of, you know, the working days and all that kind of stuff. Now, I'll always work and I'll always be around to die with my boots on because that's another fundamental belief of mine. Six days shall thy labor, said the Lord. And I do my best to make that happen. I just focus on all kinds of different projects.
[00:03:54] Some of it's work to bring in money and necessity. Sometimes it's to focus on the greater things in life. That is God, family, and country. Thus, this program. We believe that promoting God, family, and country culminates in the protection of life, liberty, and property. Look, you've got to protect life. That's why we're so interested in pro-life. We've got to abolish Planned Parenthood. President Trump, if you want Doge and Elon to have something to do, just shut down all the money to Planned Parenthood.
[00:04:21] You say, Sam, there's a lot more money to get elsewhere. I know. But there's no greater pivotal issue than the pro-life issue. After all, if the government isn't to protect life, what is government's purpose anyway? Now, I'm not saying government has no purpose. I'm trying to get across how important life is. If we can't protect the most innocent among us, heaven help us, is what I'm saying to you. So that's why we've got to defund Planned Parenthood. It's at the top of my list.
[00:04:50] It's also at the top of Sheriff Richard Mack's list. So it's at the top of the list of the CSPOA as well. Why? Because the whole purpose of government at every level, in every branch, across all checks and balances, is to protect life and to protect liberty. That's my freedom to think and behave and act as I choose, right? That's what we're talking about. Good. Okay, so that's the deal. We've got to promote God, family, and country. We've got to protect life, liberty, and property. And we've got to do it in that order.
[00:05:19] Anyway, I digress. But the reason I spend all this time on this is because Attorney General Pam Bondi got sworn in and swears. Listen. Vows to end weaponization of the Justice Department. Oh, boy. Pam Bondi, Attorney General, vows to end, you heard me, end the weaponization of the Justice Department.
[00:05:48] Now, I pray for Pam Bondi's success. I'm a little concerned about her. She's the lady that said, hey, take the guns first, due process second. Those kind of statements do not give me confidence. However, I look at a lot of what she's done, and she really stands with Trump. What she's saying is correct. We need to get rid of the weaponization of the Justice Department. I think it starts, Pam Bondi, I think you should call Sam Bushman.
[00:06:15] You can email me, and I'll give you my number, 801-756-9133. I'm joking. There's the number. And you can call me. That's a personal line directly to me. Listeners, please don't use it unless you really need to because everybody and their dog wants to call. And I've only got 24 hours of the day. But I want to be available. I want to help.
[00:06:37] To de-weaponize or end the weaponization of the Justice Department, Pam, is to create a, I'm going to call it a Political Prisoner Commission. A PPC, right? The Department of Political Prisoner Commission, where we would basically analyze the cases of political prisoners and say, hey, does this person need to be in prison? And we would have several different criteria for this. All right? And the criteria would be, hey, is this person violent or not?
[00:07:06] Do they have a history of violence? Yes or no? If no, a good reason to let them out, right? If yes, a good reason not to let them out. Why? Because innocents are in danger when violent people are free. That's the problem. Second question. What is the felony? What does it relate to? Is it some goofy thing like, oh, they didn't pay their income tax? Well, why don't we just get rid of the IRS and shut that down? And that's not an issue anymore.
[00:07:32] We can drive money elsewhere in other ways that's not direct on the citizenry. See, that's the point. When you assault people directly, it becomes personal in a hurry. Then the government always has the bigger hammer, right? That's the problem. Well, I digress, except to say we need to evaluate these cases and say, okay, is it something that is a real crime? I mean, where's the victim if somebody argues about income tax or even won't pay their income tax?
[00:07:58] Can't we create a mechanism to where, hey, it's portioned among the citizens and among the states and it's tariffs-based and, hey, collecting the money is easy. It isn't a matter of diving into the privacy of every individual American and forcing them to swear on the bottom line under the penalty of perjury and, oh, let's go ahead and, you know, look into every asset that you have or don't have and every profit and loss and every expenditure and da-da-da-da-da, right? Stop all that.
[00:08:26] It's the abuse of the citizenry that's the problem there, right? So if you're going to get rid of the weaponization of the Justice Department, it is imperative to shut down the IRS for crying out loud. Come on now. So, see, I'm for the proper role of limited constitutional government every day. When they tell you that I'm anti-government, they lie to you. But I also support the proper funding of government, which means, hey, you don't just add tariffs on top of income tax.
[00:08:53] You look at the American people and, hey, they say that we pay anywhere from 50% to 60% of taxes given all in. You know, sales tax and income tax and value-added tax and this tax and that tax and property tax and inheritance tax and progressive income tax at the state and the federal level. And I can go on and on and on articulating and enumerating the tax list of, right? Let's stop all that. Let's reduce the size, the scope of government.
[00:09:22] And the sad part about it is I think Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Pam Bondi, hopefully Kash Patel, many others are doing a great job in that regard in many, many, many, many, many ways. They really are. But, man, the deep state is trying to stop them at every turn. And they're working on going violent to stop them at every turn. You don't believe me? All right, I'll break it down for you. While Pam Bondi sworn in, vows to end weaponization of the Justice Department, usatoday.com, by the way. And I commend her for that.
[00:09:52] I hope she's successful. But there is a group out there that I just discovered. I don't know much about these people. So this is live radio. I just got the story. I'm all by myself. So I'm just going to have to break this down the best I can here. What is 50-50? It's called 50-51. What is 50-51? Well, 51-50 is like a crazy person, right?
[00:10:21] 5-1-5-0. Somebody get the po-po or somebody call the po-po. You've heard that country song, right? Well, this is opposite. 50-51. What is 50-51? It's the anti-Trump movement. They're working on having protests all around the country right now. Will they go violent? Will they turn into riots? I pray the answer is no. And I would ask everyone considering being involved to please stand down. Go home.
[00:10:52] We need a peaceful way forward, right? Hang tight. I'll tell you more. Do you treasure your liberty? Well, at LovingLiberty.net, we most certainly do. [00:13:07] Sam Bushman on your radio hard-hitting talk at your fingertips. LovingLiberty.net. Spread the word. Share the love. That's our nationally syndicated radio network with incredible talk shows around the clock and more. So this is the anti-Trump. And I don't know how to pronounce this movement, okay? I think it's 50-51. 50-51. But it's all a string of characters. 5-0. 5-0-1. So 50-5-0-1.
[00:13:35] Well, if you break it down, what it's supposed to mean from what I understand, the anti-Trump movement, if you will, they say originated online calls for 50 protests in 50 states on one or the same day. That's what it is supposed to be, okay? And this is interesting because it's a very new movement.
[00:14:00] Protesters gathered around or are gathering around the United States today in a, quote, coordinated effort originating from social media known as the 50-51 movement, okay? Now listen carefully to me. Protest organizers describe the push as a, quote, decentralized, rapid response to the, quote,
[00:14:29] anti-democratic, destructive, and in many cases illegal actions taken by the Trump administration and its plutocrats, okay? They got the build the resistance website states. So this is like build the resistance.
[00:14:52] I don't really know what all that is about yet because I just don't understand what it all means. This movement is so new, it's really hard to know who's behind all this. They say no one can ignore this, right? We want to have that, quote, momentum continue on. A post on the 50-51 website. They claim the movement has begun in less than two weeks.
[00:15:21] It has amassed already 72,000 participants. And they've already planned 67 separate protests across 40 states. Anyway, they're partnering with another group called Political Revolution. That's why I'm having such a hard time getting my arm around this, right?
[00:15:46] I don't know how to really respond to this because now I've got to dig into the 50-51 project, right? Less than two weeks, 72,000 participants. What's Political Revolution, right? What does that mean?
[00:16:09] Less than two weeks, 72,000 people, 67 protests, 40 states so far and partnering with, quote, Political Revolution. I guess Political Revolution is a pact. Did you know that? Yeah. Yeah.
[00:16:29] They say it's a volunteer-only activist organization founded out of the conclusion of Senator Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign back in 2016. So you got this Political Revolution pact created in 2016 when the Democrats burned Bernie. Now, I'm not defending Bernie, but he didn't get a fair shake from his party. Neither did RFKJR.
[00:16:58] We pray he gets confirmed by the Senate. He was nominated by Trump. Anyway, I digress. But those two, Bernie Sanders and RFKJR, both got burned by the Democratic Party. It's not Democrat at all. Okay, so they burned Bernie. They burned RFKJR. Then they literally burned everyone and skipped the primary. Then they tried to coronate Kamala. It did not go well. So they all lost.
[00:17:26] Now they're running around wondering what they're going to do. And there's been a quiet before the storm. And I warned you all about this a couple of weeks ago. Well, I guess a couple of months ago when they lost big time in November and Trump and Team 1. Then I said, look, it's surprising they didn't riot on the streets first day. They were quiet. They were subdued. They were calm. They were wondering what on earth happened. Then they said, oh, we're going to be super peaceful on January the 6th. We're not going to do what Donald did last time. Just trying to add insult to that lie. Pretending it was an injury.
[00:17:56] Anyway, I digress except to say it's been really, really, really peaceful. Then we started to see more and more folks start to push back on Capitol Hill. People start pushing back around the country. And now they're starting to get their mojo back or their legs under them. Is it legitimate? Time will tell. But the 50-51 movement and, quote, political revolutions. And now you've got Bernie Sanders tied in with this group.
[00:18:26] Said in a joint press release they are calling for the removal of President Donald Trump. They want an investigation into his administration appointees, including Elon Musk. They want the repeal of, quote, they call it aggressive executive orders. And they want the restoration of diversity, equity, and inclusion frameworks.
[00:18:56] These people are crazy. They say efforts and protests are also aimed at Project 2025. That's the, quote, conservative agenda that they say reentered the public's conversation. As Democrats basically protest Donald Trump's moves, right?
[00:19:24] They say our goal is to unite the American people against our common enemy, the Trump administration. Now, think about that. I don't know really how to respond to all this, right?
[00:19:52] When you start to publicly say we're a group and we're going after our enemies, our goal is to unite the people against our common enemy, the Trump administration. Anyway, there's a big news reporter, Kenzie Crawley or whatever at the USA Today that wrote this article about this. But I got a problem with all this.
[00:20:21] I'm not comfortable with this. Because how much of this will spill into the streets? How much of this will be like the summer of riots that took place where, you know, they took Chaz and created their own city, toppled the police department in Seattle and all this kind of stuff, right? Are we going to see a, quote, summer of, they used to have back in the 60s, a summer of love, right? Hey, man, just peace out and chill out and just love everybody, free love. And I'm against that.
[00:20:50] That's extreme on one side. Then this might be the summer of hate. And they're literally saying we want to protest in all 50 states. We want to do this on a single day. We want to get to the streets. We want to stop our common enemy. Wait a minute. We elected President Trump, ladies and gentlemen. Those people would say, well, we didn't elect him. Well, I get it. That's where election integrity issues need to be dealt with by Congress.
[00:21:18] That's why back in, you know, 2021, January the 6th, the American people in the millions went to Capitol Hill and said, hey, please, will you please look into election integrity issues? This concerns us. This is a problem. Then the insurrection happened, fueled by, funded by, organized by agent provocateurs, rogue elements in the government. And it went all south. Congress never did their due diligence.
[00:21:48] Congress never did their due diligence to look into election integrity like they were asked. They shirked their duty. All in the name of, oh, my gosh, January 6th was horrible. Then the January 6th committee got in place and literally lied and deceived on TV everywhere, deceiving the American people. Now the truth is coming out as the J6ers got released. Many of them pardoned. Thank Trump and crew for that. But now the battle's on. Now the Democrats are starting to take off the gloves.
[00:22:16] And I don't know, I don't want it to be a Democrat-Republican discussion. Because I know oftentimes things, you know, devolve into partisan politics, which I reject. See, I think the right-left paradigm is a lie. I think that's just used to keep the people off balance all the time. Look, it's very simple. If you do something good for the country, it's good for us all. If you do something bad for the country, it's bad for us all. You see, Sam, we just differ in what's good and bad. All right, well, let's talk about diversity and inclusion for a second.
[00:22:47] Do you believe in diversity and inclusion? Do you believe in equity? See, I don't believe in those terms. And the reason that I don't believe in those terms is because you and I and these liberal elites think differently about what that means. Right? So let me give you a simple example to make the point. Diversity. What does that mean? Well, Sam, we're all different. We have different skin colors and we have different cultures. Hey, the black culture is not the same as the white culture.
[00:23:17] And the Latino culture is a culture of its own. And therefore, hey, we got to have diversity. We got to celebrate our differences. That's fine. But what does that mean when we celebrate our differences? Well, when you take that diversity and then you start fractionalizing that diversity against we, the people, that's when you create a problem. Well, Sam, blacks don't have as good of a chance at education. Therefore, they don't.
[00:23:45] You know, we got to give them special privilege at the government trough. We got to pull the lever of government in favor of the blacks at the expense of the whites. And therefore, we got to. Okay. It's this gerrymandering and manipulation of things. This rewarding, creating winners and losers at the trough of government and infinite funding based on fiat money. That's the problem here. That's just diversity. I haven't even talked about equity. What is equity? And inclusion?
[00:24:11] How come I'm not included as a white Christian male? See, that's the problem. The white Christian male, he's at the bottom of the list. They've even used TV shows to trash dads, the leader of the family, making him look like a buffoon. They've done that for decades to set up their diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda. Right? All right, Hank Tad, I got a whole lot more. I'm Sam Bushman. This is the one and only Liberty Roundtable Live on your favorite news that I refuse to use radio stations.
[00:24:52] Protecting your liberties. You're listening to Liberty News Radio. News this hour from townhall.com. I'm Rich Thomason. After being targeted by two would-be assassins, including in Pennsylvania where he was actually grazed by a bullet, President Trump says he's a different man. You know, honestly, it changed something in me. I feel even stronger.
[00:25:19] I believed in God, but I feel much more strongly about it. Something happened. So, thank you. Mr. Trump at this morning's National Prayer Breakfast at the U.S. Capitol. Attorney General Pam Bondi wasting no time getting down to work among her first actions, cutting sanctuary city funds. He's also ordering an investigation of anti-Trump lawfare and is coordinating with Homeland Security in a war on drug cartels.
[00:25:46] President Trump has signed an executive order, bans biological males from competing against women and girls in sports. Texas GOP Congresswoman Monica de la Cruz says it is a good move. I will always fight for little girls across the nation to make sure that they do not have to have their dreams of playing sports squashed by men playing in their sports.
[00:26:12] Any school allowing men to compete against women or use their locker rooms will lose federal Title IX funding. Today's the deadline for eligible federal workers to accept the Trump administration's offer of a buyout. Across more than a dozen states in the Midwest are the Northeast. Ice, a big concern this morning. Ice and, in some cases, snow, making for hazardous conditions on the roads and sidewalks. There's also the potential for damage to trees and power lines.

[00:29:22] In a minute, she'll be back and ask me if I know what I did was wrong. Maybe I shouldn't have cut her hair. And she'll say we all make mistakes because we're just learning about stuff. And she'll give me a hug and we'll end up talking about more stuff. No matter what you talk to your kids about, love is what they'll hear. I really like Mom's time outs. And I think she likes them too. Yeah, I think they help her remember how much she loves me.
[00:29:51] A thought from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visit us at mormon.org. From atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West,
[00:30:18] you are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. All right, back with you live, ladies and gentlemen. We the people reject Project 2025, they claim. Now, Project 2025, ladies and gentlemen, I think was created by the Heritage Foundation and many others. And I'm not really, let me just say this right. I'm not super pleased with that.
[00:30:46] In the sense that I don't know that it's smart to roll out a single plan. Hey, we're going to do all these things in government. They say it's a big old 900 plus page thing or whatever. I haven't even read it. It's just too long, too complicated. Most of it won't be reenacted anyway. I like a lot of what I hear about it. But man, it's got everybody up in arms. And sadly, you know, Trump wants to bring people together. He says Biden claimed that as well.
[00:31:14] But both leaders seem to just love to foment the divide, in my opinion. You know, whether they intend that or not, I don't know their hearts. And so I can't say. But what I can say is this, the divide continues to seem to get worse and worse and worse and worse. Right? So what is 50,000 or 5051? Or 50501? It's just a weird term. But it started in less than two weeks.
[00:31:42] Build the resistance website, they call it. The anti-Trump 5051 movement, which originated online, is calling for 50 protests in 50 states on a single day. Now, I pray they're peaceful. But the five, whatever this group is, moderators, partnered with a group called Political Revolution,
[00:32:03] which is a PAC-created and volunteer activist-only organization, founded because, hey, Bernie Sanders got, you know, wrongfully treated in 2016. Now, it's interesting to me that that group's going to come back and go after Trump. What they should be doing is going after their own Democrats that weren't fair to Bernie when it was primary time, weren't fair to RFKJR, and then skipped their own primary.
[00:32:30] I mean, if there's a target-rich environment, personally, it's my opinion that, hey, the deep state Democrats are at fault for a lot of the problems these guys face. But, no, they've been duped into defending the Democrats' positions, duped into this radical Bernie Sanders idea, and they're pointing the turret at Trump. They said in a joint press release they're calling for the removal of Donald Trump.
[00:32:56] Our goal is to unite the American people against our, quote, common enemy, they say, the Trump administration, and anyone involved in dismantling our democracy. We don't have a democracy, just so these clowns know. We have a constitutional republic. You can say I'm splitting hairs, but the founding fathers felt like the differences were so significant that they even discussed it in the Federalist Papers and et cetera in their writings, and it goes on and on and on and on.
[00:33:23] Nevertheless, their goal is to unite the people against our common enemy, Donald Trump, they claim. They say anyone who wants to divide us based on our differences rather than unite us on what makes us American, the joint press release states. Well, I don't even know how to respond to that because, again, if you're having all 50 protests
[00:33:49] in 50 states same day and your goal is to get rid of our common enemy, wait a minute, more than 50% of the country voted for President Donald John Trump. Now you say, Sam, you're just a Trump defender. No, I'm not. But I walk down the road of constitutionality. When Trump does good things, I praise him. When he does bad things, I speak out. I don't trash Trump, but I do speak out and say, hey, I don't think this is the right way to go, and here's my reasoning why.
[00:34:19] I think that's a very responsible, appropriate thing to do. It's not right. It's not left. It's not always Trumper. It's not never Trumper. It's none of those things. But if their goal is to unite the people against our common enemy, that's the guy we elected. He is not a common enemy. You can say, well, they elected Donald or Joe Biden. Well, that's debatable, see? But I wouldn't say Joe is my common enemy either. He's done a lot of things I disagree with.
[00:34:49] I think he's a criminal. I think we ought to prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law for his crimes. But I wouldn't call Joe Biden a common enemy. He's done a lot of things I disagree with. But again, you know, the people elected Joe Biden, too. You say, well, wait a minute. The election was a fraud. I know all that. I'm just saying, you know, hey, if the election was 100 percent illegitimate, which I think it was,
[00:35:14] Trump should have followed Stewart's road's lead and said, hey, we're going to call in the militia. We're going to dig into this vote fraud thing. We're not going to transfer power. OK, but the peaceful transfer of power is what they always talk about, which I support. So at what point then does someone become a common enemy? But yet we support the peaceful transfer of power. You see, it can't be both. So as long as we support the peaceful transfer of power. Well, we should have done that.
[00:35:42] I think they disrupted the peaceful transfer of power when they literally had the government assault the citizens in January the 6th. And they forced Joe Biden to be the president. That was not a peaceful transfer of power. They claimed that it was, but it was the government cracking down on us. Anyway, our prayers are that this group can back off. When more than 50 percent of the country vote for Donald Trump and then these people say, let's unite against our common enemy.
[00:36:13] They're forgetting about more than 50 percent of the country. I don't know how that unites us. They claim that. Let me see how this states. Anybody who's involved in dismantling our democracy. And anyone who wishes to divide us by our differences. Okay. These people calling Trump an enemy and 51 plus percent of the country that voted for Donald Trump.
[00:36:40] How do they even justify their statements? They had a joint press release about this. Divide us by our differences instead of unite us by what makes us American. Now, that's the problem. See, is America first? Is that what makes us American? What makes us American? Oh, boy, isn't that a great question to ask? What makes us American, ladies and gentlemen? Can I tell you? Can I really tell you?
[00:37:10] What makes us American is our legacy from our founding fathers, which started out and said, hey, we're going to have a declaration of independence. King George is a tyrant thug and he's gone. We're declaring our independence. And we're going to look to God, not government, for guidance. You can have different theological beliefs about God.
[00:37:34] But as a general understanding, the United States was created because they looked to God and they said, listen, God's given us what are called inalienable or unalienable, as some people say, rights. And those rights include, you know, the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. Well, government was instituted among men to protect those God-given rights and to ensure that we could worship our God as we choose.
[00:38:03] That is what makes us uniquely American. And then we came together and said, hey, we understand that government can go wrong and be evil. And that we got to guard against big time. But we also understand that the opposite is true, that you can't run around with no government. You see, the Articles of Confederation were on the verge of absolute implosion, failure. And they knew it. And so that's why they came together. And even though they weren't given instructions to do this, they did it anyway because the nation depended on it.
[00:38:32] The future of America depended on creating a very strong, listen to me, very strong but very limited in scope general government. The states were to have broad powers. The general government was to have few and defined powers. And so they laid out the supreme law of the land, the Constitution, and the states ratified that Constitution. Okay, that's critical to understand. So let's see.
[00:39:04] What makes us American, they say. This is their press release. What makes us American? So I submit to you this looking to God makes us American. This Declaration of Independence idea makes us American. This understanding then that we need a proper role of limited government. Biblically speaking, governments are instituted among men to protect men and their God-given rights and their freedom to worship who, where, or what they may. Right? That is the fundamental, uniquely different reality of America. That is, no one's a king.
[00:39:32] No one's a God, if you will. No one should have too much power. Therefore, they divided powers vertically and horizontally through our whole governmental apparatus. They furthermore said, hey, each of these divisions should check and balance one another. If the president gets too out of control, the courts and the legislative branch can rein him in. The courts get out of control.
[00:40:00] The legislative and the executive branch can rein in the judiciary. And I go round and round. Hey, the general government gets too out of control. The 50 states can say, oh, no, you don't. That's not in your list of defined, enumerated responsibilities. Shut you down. The general government says, hey, wait a minute. You have a right to keep and bear arms. That right shall not be infringed. And you have your free speech rights. And states can't take that away either. That was delegated to the general government to say, hey, we're not going to violate those at the general government level.
[00:40:27] And the states ought not violate these non-touchables, the Bill of Rights, God-given rights as well. See how brilliant the plan is, ladies and gentlemen? There's nothing like it. That's what makes us uniquely American. Not a democracy. That's a lie. A constitutional, God-ordained republic. Hang tight. More in seconds. I'm Sam Bushman.

[00:42:27] This is a battle. A battle between truth and deceit. A battle between forces that would enslave this country in darkness. And between a media that wants to present you with the truth. We are being censored. America's news outlets no longer provide the truth. 90% of news outlets in the United States are controlled by six corporations. The mission of the Epoch Times is to chase the truth. To ground all statements and facts.
[00:42:55] The Epoch Times dot com. Live and on your radio, Sam Bushman. Talking about this crazy 5051 or whatever it's called. 5501-50501 is what it is. It's a new group that's been organized in the last couple of weeks. Build the resistance website. But I've got a problem on one hand. They want you to believe they're kind of peaceful.
[00:43:24] Let's peacefully protest in all these different places. Number one, if you go look at your First Amendment, you don't have the right to protest. Protest, I know people are going, Sam, what are you talking about? Everybody knows Americans have the right to protest. What do you mean? No, no, no, no, no, no. Go read your First Amendment, people. Come on. You have the right to peacefully assemble. Oh, Sam, that's the same thing as protest. Okay, but if you go peacefully assemble on one conservative viewpoint. God-ordained viewpoint.
[00:43:54] Your rights viewpoint. You don't have the right to protest. You don't have the right to riot. When does a peaceful assembly turn into a protest? And when does a protest turn into a riot? And there you go. Well, my rights end where your rights begin. Remember these checks and balances? You got to have checks on yourself. Who puts checks on men and women? Answer, God Almighty.
[00:44:21] We have the opportunity to use our agency to obey or disobey. I get it. I agree. But at the same time, God puts checks and balances. That's why tying ourselves to God from an individual basis, a family basis, a community basis, a larger societal basis, right on through a state and general government basis. That's the uniqueness of America. All right? Now, we can disagree about things all day long. But I'm going to call on the 5150 or whatever it is, 5051 people.
[00:44:51] I just keep thinking 5150. These people are crazy. It's us. But it's 5051. These people, our goal is to unite the American people against our common enemy. What is our common enemy? Is it Trump and the dismantling of a lot of unconstitutional government? No, it's not. That's why I set these fundamentals of checks and balances. That's why I laid out the God family country.
[00:45:18] That's why I'm talking about all this stuff in a meaningful, reality-based way. Okay? I would like to challenge these 5051 people to have not 50 protests in 50 states partnering with political revolution. I don't want revolution of any kind unless it's a Jesus revolution. That would be the founding father-esque viewpoint. They all said, listen, we came here for religious freedom.
[00:45:48] We came here because our rights were being violated by a King George who was, you know, against us, a tyrant, evil. We want freedom, freedom to worship. We want freedom of commerce. We want the free enterprise system. We want, okay, that's what we stand for.
[00:46:07] So I'd like to tell these 5051 people, why don't we, instead of having protests that might turn into riots where we think Trump is a common enemy, why don't we have peaceful civil discourse on these topics? For example, diversity, equity, and inclusion. I know you think I lost that topic, but I really didn't. Diversity. What does that mean?
[00:46:37] It means we can celebrate our differences as God's children. No doubt. It means we can celebrate that God created us differently, but it doesn't mean that we have to pull the lever of government in the favor of some at the expense of the many. What it means is that we can say, look, when you think about government policies, you think about saying, okay, how do we create an even playing field?
[00:47:08] Right? How do we make sure that what's good for one?
[00:47:13] How do we make sure that what's good for one is good for all? Would they be satisfied? Would they be satisfied? Would they be satisfied?
[00:47:42] It's kind of like asking a government institution, like a government school, a government education system. How much money do you need? They'll never answer that because, well, they just need more. Right? It's always more. It never ends. That's the problem. See? Okay. Well, that's the problem with some of these quotas. If you put black people into a quota system and promote them, you now send whites, Asians, Latinos all to the back of the bus, don't you?
[00:48:11] See, that's the problem with that. So you got to ask what is good for one is good for all. That's one of the great ways you can know. One of the second great ways you can know is you say, hey, do we have the authority to do this? So when we talk about diversity, do we have the authority to do that, to create, you know, these special privileges under the false name of diversity? That's not celebrating diversity. That's giving the white lawyer the shaft because the black lawyer got in because the quota said so.
[00:48:40] Say we pulled the lever in the favor of one group or the other. Now, has the levers been pulled in the favor of whites for many years and men against women in many years? Absolutely. Is it right? No. Should we have done it? No. America does not have a perfect passion. Let's not pretend that it does. But understand that we can say to ourselves, we're going to look at the wrongs in America that have been done.
[00:49:09] And I mean, the Native Americans, the Indians or whatever you want to say, they have been wrong. The blacks have been wrong. But you know who's been wrong more than any of those people? A religious group called the Mormons, the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They don't use that Mormon term for their name anymore. They use the Church of Jesus Christ. They're Latter-day Saints. They're members of that church. Well, they've been wronged more than any group in the United States, period. They were literally ran out on a rail. Well, Governor Boggs did an execution order against all men, women, and children.
[00:49:39] Leave or die. Raping the women. Letting them run across the country in the dead of winter. Bloody feet. Poverty stricken. Nobody was treated as bad as the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Okay. I don't support that. That was wrong. That was evil. That was a horrible chapter in our past as America. However, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I do my best to be a faithful member in good standing, I might add. Now, I don't think I deserve reparations, though.
[00:50:09] It didn't happen to me. It happened to my ancestors. Right? And so I don't want to go back into the past and continue to drive that wedge of wrongs. What I'd like to do is look forward and say, hey, let's never erase that chapter in history. Let's teach people about that chapter in history in a very humble, appropriate way that, hey, this was a sad day. And let's make sure that we look backwards for knowledge. And then we look forward with wisdom.
[00:50:39] What is wisdom? The proper application of knowledge. Right? So let's look back and say we know the facts. We know that happened. We know it was wrong. It should have never happened. And let's go forward with wisdom. Wisdom would be, again, the proper application of knowledge. So let's go forward with that knowledge and say we want to make sure that never happens again to the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to the Indians, to the blacks, to women, to any other marginalized group.
[00:51:03] But let's not add insult to injury and, like a lottery, pull the lever of government in another group's favor and say it's payback time. No, no, no, no, no, no. Let's follow the Prince of Peace. Let's set an example. Let's sit down and talk. So I invite all the leaders of this 50-51 group, don't rage in the streets. Okay? Let's not have a common enemy like that. Let's talk principle.
[00:51:33] So diversity, I think, can be a great thing if not exploited. But when we say diversity, we mean one thing and they mean another. And there's the disparity. The more we can talk and the more we can put things on the kitchen table for discussions, in my opinion, the more civility and common sense we can have. And that's what we pray for. Diversity, equity. What's equity? Well, they used to say, well, we just want everything to be, you know, equal, equality. Well, now they say equity is different than equality. Equity kind of means payback time.
[00:52:03] Got to give somebody else a little bit more of a favored position than somebody else because if we do that, then eventually there'll be fair equity, not equal. Things are not equal. There's that, you know, hey, equity versus equality. It's a slightly different term that has meanings that you and I don't agree with. Inclusion. Inclusion. Well, I agree with the inclusion.
[00:52:26] But again, what decides or who decides what the inclusion list looks like? Because the second you include a inclusion list, you automatically by nature have an exclusion list, don't you? If we're going to say inclusion, unless inclusion means everybody, but does it really?
[00:52:53] I'll ask these 50 51ers, does inclusion include President Donald John Trump? Does it include Sam Bushman? Does it include Sheriff Richard Mack? Does it include, I mean, I can go on and on and on and on, right?
[00:53:17] Or does it exclude all those people when they say, hey, our goal, we're calling for the removal of President Trump. Wait a minute. He was elected. What do you mean you're calling for the removal? Our goal is to unite the American people against our enemy. Listen, that's the Trump administration. Wow, that's a lot of people to just be flat out against and call an enemy. The Trump administration?
[00:53:46] Believe it or not, half the administration is full of their people still, right? Then they say this. Anyone involved in dismantling our democracy. What does that mean? We don't have a democracy, first of all. And I don't want to dismantle that. I don't want to dismantle the proper role of government, do you? But if government's gone rogue, I want to disable the rogue elements in government for sure.
[00:54:08] They also say anyone who wishes to divide us by our differences instead of unite us by what makes us American. Well, I want to openly discuss what makes us American. And I have an open invitation to any of these people to come and peacefully, civilly discuss this on the radio rather than protesting in the streets. That's my clarion call for peace. Callforcivility.com is my website on the topic. And I believe it's all about God, family, and country.
[00:54:36] And I'm prepared to peacefully open that dialogue with anybody, anywhere, anytime. Are you aboard? Are you in? God save the republic.
