[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West. You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. Sam Bushman live on your radio. Hard-hitting news the network refused to use, no doubt, starts now. This, my fellow Americans, is the broadcast for January the 14th in the year of our Lord 2025.
[00:00:42] This is Hour 1 of 2 and the goal always to protect life, liberty, and property, to promote God, family, and country, to use the supreme law of the land and the Constitution in the traditions of our founders, rejecting revolution unless it's a Jesus revolution. Then we're in because we follow the Prince of Peace, and using the checks and balances brilliantly put in place by the founding fathers. That's who we are. Welcome to the broadcast, ladies and gentlemen. Sheriff Richard Mack with me, cspoa.org. Welcome back, sir. Thank you very much.
[00:01:11] Sam, it's great to be with you this beautiful Tuesday morning. I bet you haven't seen this story, but I want to get your take on it. Nevertheless, here it is. The National Sheriff's Association urged the Senate on Monday to quickly confirm Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence, saying she had the organization's complete endorsement, dailywire.com.
[00:01:40] Did you see this, Sheriff? I did not. And it makes me wonder what they're up to because they've never been this vocal about. They've never been political. They've never been vocal about appointments. They've never touched any of this with a 10-foot pole. I think they're seeing our lead and feeling like they're getting left behind, sir. They don't want to admit that, but I think it's true. It might be.
[00:02:06] But me knowing the NSA like I know them, and I don't mean the National Security Agency. I mean the National Sheriff's Association. They just do what's beneficial to them, and you can usually follow the money. And I'm thinking that they're really wanting to be in good with President Trump so that they'll keep buying all the tables with the –
[00:02:35] I've told you this before, Sam, but I've been there once, and Don and I went to their conference in Nashville, Tennessee, and it was about 12 years ago. And I actually had bought a table so I could have a table there for CSPOA. They canceled that and sent me back my money. And I believe the table was about $800, $900. That's just for one table.
[00:03:02] They said, you're still allowed to go into the expo, but we're not giving you a table. So – and of course, this is the same organization that says that they promote the Office of Sheriff, and they're trying to save the Office of Sheriff. And of course, when Jeff Christopher was trying to save his Office of Sheriff in Delaware, they completely abandoned him and didn't help him one iota. We were the only national organization to help Sheriff Christopher.
[00:03:32] And he still lost because he was fighting Bo Biden, who was the Attorney General of the state, and he was fighting them literally to maintain the power of the sheriff in the state. And the county – and there's only three sheriffs in Idaho – in Delaware. There's only three sheriffs. There's only three counties. The other two sheriffs didn't really care. And so the NSA said, well, we're siding with the other two sheriffs. He would have to have at least one more.
[00:04:01] And I said, what's that got to do with saving the Office of Sheriff? You know, other sheriffs don't want to or don't care, don't have the courage to fight. So you join with the two cowards. And so anyway, so I had it out with them. We actually had a meeting. The only time I've ever met with NSA president and the executive director and another assistant and then a couple of their attorneys, we all sat down.
[00:04:28] We're supposed to meet for half an hour, and we met for about an hour and 20 minutes. And the biggest concern I had was to them, why do you ignore our Supreme Court case? Why is it that when we, seven of us sheriffs, filed suit against the federal government, you guys never made one peep about it? And in fact, you didn't have us come and speak about the nature of the case and how important it was to the Office of Sheriff.
[00:04:57] Or you had Janet Reno come and be your keynote speaker at your conference instead of having us do a class or speak about it or whatever. You would think that the seven sheriffs would be the keynote speakers, but no. And I saw why, Sam. When I went into that expo, huge. Sam, this is as big a gun show hall as you've ever seen or a preparedness show that you and I used to go to. It was huge.
[00:05:27] And there were thousands of tables in there. About half of them were purchased by the federal government. FBI had a big, not just two or three tables, a big, huge quadro block of it, like about 25 tables each. So the DEA had tables. ICE had tables. You just go on through EPA. You just keep going through all of them. And there was a bunch of tables.
[00:05:55] Remember, $800 a table and federal government probably bought four, 500, 600 tables. That's a lot of money. Yes, it is. And I think I have the answer to why, Sheriff. Because I found another news article that directly relates to the point you're making, by the way. And here it is. Shame is what I wrote for the headline, colon. But here's the headline. Tulsi Gabbard has now reversed herself.
[00:06:26] In Congress, she called for the repeal of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which allowed for the surveillance, they say, of foreigners outside the United States, in the name of national security. But now she reversed herself and she said, we've got to have 702. It's a tool that, quote, must be safeguarded.
[00:06:54] So now she's back in 702. Yeah. Yeah. Who's she playing to now? You have to wonder who told her to do that. That had to be somebody high up on the transition team. I don't think she did this on her own. I agree 100% with that. But that's why the NSA would be forward as if you backed 702. Now, the problem with all this is, again, they claim it was foreign stuff. 702, but then you get Lone Wolf.
[00:07:23] You get all these FISA courts. You get all these different things. And then George Bush, back in the day, blurred the line, said it was only for foreign actors that are terrorists. Then it was like, well, it's for the United States. Then it's domestic terrorists. Then it's everybody. And now 702 being exploited to violate all of our God-given rights, violating our security and our privacy. And here's the deal. Elon Musk at Doge said he was going to save $2 trillion.
[00:07:51] Now he's already backed off and said, well, maybe we'll get a trillion. So he's already failed and dropped at 50%. Now Tulsi Gabbard going for 702 like gangbusters and saying how vital that is. By the time we get this administration put in place, nobody will have any backbone or guts to do anything, Sheriff. Yeah, that's been a concern of mine. But, you know, I really want to see them get in there and see what they do once they get in. Well, we're already seeing what they're doing before they get in.
[00:08:21] And they're caving on every point of the sun. Yeah, because quite frankly, with the deal with Tulsi Gabbard, I have doubts that it could have been Trump that said, yes, we want to keep that. He was the one that was victim of a FISA supposed warrant. He didn't want it. Yeah, so you would think Tulsi would come out swinging and saying, no, we still got to get rid of this more than ever. Yeah, more of this crap. I know. I know.
[00:08:45] So the acquiescence and the political posturing, I don't know if she had to do that because, you know, some Republican, some moderate Republican said, you better keep that or I'm not voting for you. You know, I don't know. But, you know, do I like any of it? No, of course not. And I thought this was going to be the administration that was going to be the stand up for getting us back to the Constitution. And so, you know, can there be some mistakes?
[00:09:15] And could she have just done it with the new chief of staff, the lady? I can't remember her name. I never knew. I never heard of her name. Pam Bondi from Florida. No, that's the attorney general. Oh, yeah. Okay. Chief of staff. And it was some businesswoman or something. She must have donated a bunch. But, you know, we'll see.
[00:09:40] I just don't know if they're finagling now so they can do good later. I'm just calling it a big shame, though, again. If you compromise now, the likelihood of you getting it right on track later is just about zero, ladies and gentlemen. I know the old adage, well, listen, I'm going to be just kind of center until I get elected. Then I'm going to take it to them. But it never seems to work out that way, ladies and gentlemen. That's the reality check.
[00:10:07] You show me examples where it's worked out, where they're like, hey, I'm really moderate when I run. But, man, I'm hardcore when I get in there. I just don't see it, ladies and gentlemen. But there you have that. Now, we're openly still calling for a humble, security-minded Trump inauguration, ladies and gentlemen. But Trump's not listening to us, Sheriff. Doesn't look like it. It really does not look like it. So, yeah.
[00:10:36] But you know what? Maybe he'll listen. He's not even listening to Ted Nugent. And I'll tell you what happened to Ted Nugent. We'll do it in seconds then. Ted's up. After that, we're going to talk about Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the J6 bombshell. It's all coming up on your radio. Introducing managed IT services from NPI.

[00:12:47] To learn more about why America is the most prosperous, greatest country in the world, download the Loving Liberty app or go to lovingliberty.net. Yeah, we're openly calling for a humble, security-minded Trump inauguration. I just think it's dangerous as all get out, but they're pulling out the pump, spending a couple of hundred million dollars on it with a rally and all kinds of stuff.
[00:13:16] Different people are performing and everything else. It turns out that I guess Carrie Underwood and the Village people are both going to perform. And I guess she's going to perform America the Beautiful. She will be accompanied by the Armed Forces Chorus and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club is what it's called.
[00:13:42] She says, I love our country and I'm honored to be asked to sing at the inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event, Underwood said. Anyway, she says, we're looking to the future. A lot of singers won't even consider Trump. Trump, she's the biggest, doubling down, not saying that she's really a Donald Trump supporter, but saying she's glad to serve her country.
[00:14:07] I find that refreshing, too, to say, you know what, I'm not really interested in the politics of this, but I am interested in doing good everywhere I can for our country. I like that view. Sheriff? Yeah, I can't see her being invited unless the Trump administration knew that she was on board supporting him. But regardless, I like that, too. It sounds very patriotic and I love patriotism and I love my country.
[00:14:33] And I just don't believe that it's a smart thing to have this big inauguration with millions of people around and the threat of violence that is already there. Well, and especially the idea that what Iran was behind possibly some of the assassination attempts and everything else. Foreign actors, our borders leaking like a sieve. Who knows who's here on whose errand? I'm just saying it's crazy.
[00:15:01] Yeah, Sam, first of all, anybody in security would have to ask themselves a question. How many international terrorists have infiltrated America during the last four years? And it was happening before then, but it was it was a lot more clandestine than it is now because now it's open. I mean, yeah. And the answer is they have no idea how many. But we know this. It's significant. Yes.
[00:15:28] And I went to a training where they had an idea and they just mathematically looked at it. And from the time that they saw that people are coming in and how many Korans that they've caught, you know, found abandoned in the desert between Mexico and Arizona or Texas and New Mexico and California. And, you know, they started coming up with it.
[00:15:56] And it's over tens of thousands. In fact, the number that they gave us five, six years ago was over 100,000. And now. Which means now it's got to be, you know, I don't even know the number, but 10 times that? Yes. Who knows the number? It's OK. But but easily we could say there's tens of thousands of them here. And there's tens of thousands of cartels.
[00:16:24] And there's the number that came out was there's at least twenty five thousand CCP warriors and Russian warriors. And gang members, too, that would be all too willing to do whatever bidding to get, you know, special privilege or whatever to the question we have to ask them. You, me, everybody. What do you think they're doing here?
[00:16:48] They just want to assimilate and be Americans and and not a chance from all the horrible areas they lived in. No, they're going to attack. And the jihadists that are here, the Taliban, Hamas and all of them that goes on and on ISIS and the jihadist movement, Sam, is in our country.
[00:17:11] And it is an extremely violent movement that, you know, that they need to kill Jews and kill Americans and destroy America. What better opportunity are we providing them in five days? Anyway, folks, we are not predicting anything. We don't have any intelligence of anything. We're praying this does not happen. We're just saying caution is wise.
[00:17:40] That's all we're saying about this. Nevertheless, though, they're going ahead with pump. They're releasing the schedule of all that's going to happen. I'm telling you right now, I want to be as far away from it as I can get. But Texas Governor Greg Abbott is in the news related to this, too. It's kind of interesting. So I guess the flag needs to be at half mast, right? Because of the passage of Jimmy Carter. I think that's been enough time now. Well, I agree 100 percent. But they say by law, it's still got to be.
[00:18:10] But here's the deal. Biden made an order. Well, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that he will be defying federal orders by ordering all flags in the Lone Star State to be flown at full staff for Trump's inauguration. Good for him. I agree. I'm just saying. So Biden did that. Biden did that up the friction. Yeah, but he didn't do it for Jimmy Carter. No, he didn't.
[00:18:38] He did it to slap that it's a sad day for America because Trump's getting it. That's right. That's what he did. And that's the shame. And so let's get into Biden a little bit, because we've got several issues going on here about Joe Biden that I really want to drill into. Are they going to prosecute Joe or are they just going to let Joe go? Because here's the deal. I pray you're wrong. Predict you're right.
[00:19:02] Joe Saunders over at the Western Journal has a headline that I find fascinating. J6. Trump didn't just offer military to protect the Capitol during January the 6th. He actually ordered it, Sheriff. But he was disobeyed. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:19:26] Trump's acting defense secretary, a guy by the name of Christopher Miller, flat out disobeyed and defied Trump's specific orders. It now comes out. After four years of being lied to by the media and being lied to by the Democrat-led, you know, J6 investigations and everything else, we never got this information. Now it's coming out.
[00:19:50] So with that, you kind of go, Biden, Pelosi, all these clowns, you know, what's going to happen there? Well, now Biden's also talking about student debt cancellation. Never mind the Supreme Court shut him down and said it was unconstitutional. But Joe says he doesn't care. He says he doesn't care about the Constitution.
[00:20:17] So with 150,000 borrowers now added on Monday, the Biden administration has now unconstitutionally, according to the Supreme Court, forgiven $183.6 billion in student debt loan accumulated, loans accumulated by 5 million borrowers. Here's Trump mocking the Constitution and the courts. Here's Biden.
[00:20:45] Supreme Court blocked me from relieving student debt, but they didn't stop me. So far, I've relieved student debt for nearly 5 million Americans, a significant number of black borrowers. So you can chase your dream, start a family, buy your first home, start a business and so much more. So this clown got shut down by the Supreme Court. He doesn't care. He said, hey, they blocked me, but they can't stop me. I don't care about the Supreme Court.
[00:21:14] I don't care about the Constitution. Okay, now the lies about January 6th for four years, the lies about election fraud for four years. Now we're literally spending $186 billion by forgiving this debt, which he has no authority to do, says the Supreme Court and the Constitution. And he does it. He needs to be in prison, Sheriff. Yeah, he should.
[00:21:36] I'm not sure, though, what crime he's committing by disobeying the Supreme Court because the Supreme Court doesn't have an enforcement arm. So I'd like to see the statute on that. But what needs to happen is that the Congress needs to go back. The proper way would be the Congress would go back and impeach him. The House would impeach him, and then the Senate would try the impeachment and then release him for prosecution, if you will.
[00:22:02] There could be criminal charges, though, for misappropriation of funds. Because he doesn't, first of all, he doesn't have the authority to do it in the first place. And that's probably the reason. But Congress could bring that up and say your malfeasance of office is possibly a crime. But think about that. $186 billion. Five million recipients. Yeah, that's correct.
[00:22:32] It's absolute insanity. The court said it's unconstitutional. You can't do it. He does it anyway. Yeah, and that's going to be his legacy unless the mainstream media still praises everything he does, which was, you know, look at all he's done. Yeah, look at the crime rates. Look at the human trafficking. Look at the fentanyl. Look at the, I mean, the serious, serious crimes. I mean, every day there's a new one in the newspaper.
[00:23:01] Oh, by the way, hey, they finally arrested the nine members of the Tren de Agua gang from Venezuela for taking over that apartment complex, charging them with kidnapping and several other things. But I thought the press was claiming it didn't happen. And we were up in the night. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Now they're arrested, huh? Yeah. I can't believe our lion eyes. I guess that's without evidence, huh? Right. Yeah. But, yeah, I mean, come on.
[00:23:29] Biden has been a crook for the 45, 50 years he's been in Washington. And he has flaunted it. And he has flaunted the syndicate mafia type things that his family is doing. And, of course, he his son, who is leading the way and being the money man of getting that money all brought into the family. Of course, he got pardon. You know, well, that's not so bad coming in. Yeah.
[00:23:59] But I got to still tell you about Ted Nugent, what he's doing about going to the inauguration. Straight ahead, Ted Nugent coming up, ladies and gentlemen. We'll get to that detail. Then I want to talk about Melania. She's speaking out pretty nobly, boldly, independently as well. We got to give her a little bit of credit for standing tall. We'll do that, too. It would add to a record of around $18 billion in military aid that the U.S. has provided Israel since the war began more than a year ago. I'm Julie Walker.

Those things on the side of your head aren't turnips? But they get just as frustrated when you won't listen to them as you do when they won't listen to you. Do I need to speak slower?
[00:29:23] In fact, few things show children how much they're valued and respected more than a parent's willingness to listen. Tell me what you did at work today. Studies show when parents listen, children develop better listening skills themselves. They also tend to have more self-confidence and are more likely to avoid alcohol and drugs. [00:29:51] From the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For more tips on strengthening your family, visit family.mormon.org. Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West,
[00:30:17] you are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. All right, back with you live, ladies and gentlemen. Sam Bushman on your radio along with Sheriff Richard Mack, CSPOA.org. And we're calling for a humble inauguration, ladies and gentlemen. We really need to have, you know, a secure, safe transition for sure. And we don't want anything to go wrong. So that's what we're advocating for. Ted Nugent is speaking out too, Sheriff.
[00:30:48] Yes, I called Ted and told him my concerns because I know he has some direct contacts with the transition team. And he actually has more contacts than I thought. He's been invited to the inauguration. He's getting some Freedom Citizen Award from Trump within the next few days or the next week or so. There's four or five people on that list.
[00:31:17] General Flynn is one. And, yes, I wish I was on the list, but I'm not. Justly so for both of them, I might add. Yes, it is. And I like Ted and you like Ted. And he's been on your show a lot. And I've had a lot to do with him. And I've appeared with him across the country. And I like Flynn and think he deserves it too. Yeah, me too. Yeah, absolutely. But I told Ted of my concerns and I said, could you please pass this on? He goes, I already have.
[00:31:47] And Ted had a seat reserved right in front of the podium, just down from the podium, the first row. And he refused to go. He says, this is a security nightmare. And I hope you pass this on. But I am not bringing my wife to that. And he's real nice about it. He loves Trump. And they're very good friends.
[00:32:17] But he's not going. And he has a room reserved at the Waldorf near the White House. And he told me, I'm not going. And I said, Ted, I really admire you for that. But first, I know how much you would like to go. And secondly, that you're making the statement that it's just a security nightmare. Sam, this is not smart.
[00:32:45] I don't know what they're doing, except, yes, I saw the agenda, the program for the inauguration. And quite honestly, there's just nothing that I saw there that mitigates the security risk. I'm sorry, Sam. No, I'm not sorry. This is a security nightmare. There is no way.
[00:33:14] And I pray nothing goes wrong. And I hope they have it together. But I don't know why Trump would trust the Secret Service, though. They're the ones that failed him before. There's no good reason or explanation for the fail, except for just lazy DEI stuff. And the Capitol Police, is he going to trust them, too? You know, because they're in charge of a lot of it. And the director of the Capitol Police was on the news last night. And he was saying, what we're really concerned about is the lone wolf attacks.
[00:33:44] And, you know, and they've already had two of those. I'm concerned about any attacks. Well, yeah, but they had them happen during the Jimmy Carter funeral. Yes. Or the viewing. So why would we do this? I just don't get it. What's the purpose? To show that we're not afraid, I guess? Or what? It's a huge victory lap.
[00:34:13] Well, another sheriff I talked to about that said, well, if you change that, then they're winning. And they're causing fear. And they're letting the fear that they're causing control what's going on. And I said, when it doesn't matter, I don't care. Because this pomp and circumstance of the inauguration does not matter. And he goes, yeah, you're probably right. I said, you and I are in the security business.
[00:34:43] What part of the inauguration makes it okay to risk his family and cabinet? They're all going to be together in the same geographical place. Or, sheriff, innocent bystanders. Let's say that Ted is in the front row. Hey, last time Trump didn't die, but innocent people died. Yes. Good point. So I'm talking about everybody else, too. That's why I'm not going. You know? And I'm sure that you and I could go.
[00:35:13] Although, I don't know where we would stay. But, you know, we could have booked our hotel three or four months ago. I have friends in D.C. that I can stay with. And I could have got it done easily. And I could have gone easily. But I'm telling you, I'm not willing to go. And I'm not because I'm making a public statement. We said not to go to January 6th as well. They're trying to tie me to January 6th because I interviewed Stuart Rhodes the day before to get an eye on what was happening on the ground. I'll be doing the same thing. Steve Stockman and other people are going to be attending and reporting on the radio about it from there.
[00:35:43] Steve wants a pardon from Trump. He deserves one, too. But I told Steve, I think it's wise to have a humble one. And Steve agreed. Yeah, it should be. Look, they could still make huge fanfare out of it because it would be the most televised thing in the world. And rightly so. But because I really want to see Donald Trump sign his name to that oath.
[00:36:14] And just like I did with Jerry Sheridan, I took a picture of Jerry Sheridan's signed oath. And so maybe I need to do an article and a press release about that. But I just don't see why we would be taking such a huge chance. I mean, there's enough sophisticated weaponry that the people who fire a weapon into that crowd or to the stage,
[00:36:44] you wouldn't even know where it's coming from until it would be very close. And, yes, there's all sort of radar detection of that sort of thing. But there's also stealth weaponry that can stay below that. And this is just not smart, Sam. And I don't know why we would risk it. Look, I don't want to be right about this. I don't want to say I told you so. Well, I pray nothing happens and we can say, yeah, we had an abundance of caution.
[00:37:14] Yeah, I hope so, too. But I don't believe there's enough caution that can be taken. Look, Sam, they just had another attack somewhere along the Gulf, the future Gulf of America, where people were reporting drones. And as soon as the drones got reported, they very extremely high rate of speed disappeared. That almost sounds like a UFO. But drones are now very sophisticated.
[00:37:44] And these drones, okay, so they sent in a thousand drones and they stopped 900. You know, Sam, none of this, they've already warned us that they're so adept at using drones. They've already warned us over and over. And, of course, the Biden administration did nothing.
[00:38:10] This is just too obvious to me. And this is just one of those times where you say, oh, well, see, nothing happened. So we should have had it. And if it's there, Sam, I don't, I'm just, yeah, I'm afraid of it. I really am afraid. It's just too obvious.
[00:38:37] Time will tell, but all I'm telling you is that when you think about January the 6th, Trump had ordered them to take care of business. Okay? That's a huge story. They didn't just ignore Trump. They literally defied his order. Sheriff Christopher Miller literally defied Trump's specific orders. Then they told us for four years that Trump was liable for it. Well, now we're going to have this.
[00:39:08] I'm just telling you right now, they're going to defy your orders, Trump, and they're going to roll you if you're not very careful indeed. But here's the deal. It's getting worse as far as I can tell because incoming border czar, and I don't like to use the word czar, but anyway, incoming border man, Tom Holman, our dear friend,
[00:39:29] he's proposing a hotline for reporting criminal migrants, vows to shut down the Darien Gap, naturalnews.com with this piece. That's huge, Sheriff. Yeah, it is. And the Darien Gap, what an amazing place. I said, I've been invited down there. And Ann Vanderstil's been down there three or four times, and she invited me to go.
[00:39:58] And I said, there is no way. I said, why would you go down there? And, oh, we've made friends with the Native tribes there. I said, wow, okay. And how about all the other things going on there? Just no way. I said, you know, if there was something that I could really achieve by going there, but I don't see that at all.
[00:40:25] Well, and my response is, and I appreciate closing the Darien Gap, and I agree there's a lot of criminals going through there. Go ahead and skip the break. There's a lot of criminals going through there. I get all that. But to me, we've got to spend time on our borders where we have absolute control, Sheriff. Yes, yes. We do. And the military needs to get to the border. And that would be, I think, the first thing that Tom Holman needs to try to have happen.
[00:40:52] And, you know, I hope that he's really got a plan. It worries me a little bit about the phone-in thing. But if used correctly, that could be okay, too. I mean, we always had silent witness, you know, the whole time I was in law enforcement. And people really helped, and it did help. So I hope that that's the way that goes.
[00:41:20] For heaven's sakes, we pray that we can get this security restored to America. And Tom Holman is serious about it. He's a strong, good man. And so, of course, I'm back at him. I've told him that let us know if you need anything. We're here. I've referred numerous sheriff's names to him that have said, look, I'm glad we're involved. I'm glad CSPOA is involved.
[00:41:48] Please pass our name on to Mr. Holman, which I've done. Amen. All right. Now, there's been a big battle between the two states of California and Florida. Okay. So you've got whacked out Democrat Newsom, and then you've got Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. And both states are being called into a special session, Sheriff.
[00:42:15] DeSantis is calling upon his state lawmakers to convene a special session to prepare for sweeping immigration policies once President-elect Donald Trump takes office on January the 20th. So here's his statement on it. Florida's governor is calling for a special legislative session the week after President Trump takes office to ensure new executive orders concerning illegal immigration are followed.
[00:42:43] Ron DeSantis says Trump will hit the ground running with crackdowns and Florida needs to be ready. In order to do that effectively, we are going to need legislation to impose additional duties on local officials and provide funding for those local officials. I don't know about the funding part, but again, states do have, you know, their constitutional republics. They do have autonomy.
[00:43:08] And as your Supreme Court case highlights, you know, we can't force local people to be involved, but we can provide guidance at the state level. We can provide kind of a blueprint of, hey, here's how we want to carry it out. The governor has every right to stand up as the executive of his state and say, I want to work on that. Well, I commend Ron DeSantis for doing that, and I urge other states to kind of decide how they want to get their act together as well. You're kind of vetting the legislative body, which I think is good.
[00:43:33] But what you really need to do is have a meeting with the 67 sheriffs in Florida and see where they stand and what they're willing to do and how we can coordinate with them. I don't see that as part of this press release. Sheriff Mack? Yeah, I don't know. And I told you I was going to call a sheriff there, and I haven't done it yet, but I'm going to do it today. And yesterday really got busy for me, but I got too many calls.
[00:43:58] But I can't see that being what alluding to what your question is. I can't see DeSantis really being serious about helping with deportation if the sheriffs aren't involved. But I've said that about the federal government, too. They've got to be involved. No one knows the county. Well, I agree. And so far the sheriffs are being kind of an afterthought.
[00:44:22] I mean, we've all offered to help, but no one's been willing, as far as I can tell, to sit down or to take action. Well, so Florida's one state. The reason I brought up California is they're having a completely different view of this. And so when you take Florida, I don't know how many people Florida has. What, 20, 30 million? I don't know the exact number. 20 million? California has closer to 40 million. So you're talking about 60 million people, 150 of the United States almost, right? Well, forget the L.A. fires, says the headline.
[00:44:51] California lawmakers just approved $50 million to resist Donald Trump. $25 million for lawsuits to file legal complaints against the federal government. And another $25 million to defend against the deportation of undocumented people. WND.com with the piece.
[00:45:17] And Washington Examiner reports that California's, quote, Democrat majority legislature met in a special session just days ago for that purpose. Between those two states, that's a massive, absolute 180-degree opposite approach, Sheriff. Well, it is.
[00:45:40] And I can't see where California Democrats aren't getting the message yet. But we don't want the lawlessness of the open borders affecting our families and our peace and our safety. You know what they're going to say, Sheriff? What? La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la. I can't hear you. We just put $50 million.
[00:46:07] We're going to sue the socks off the Trump administration at every turn. And we're going to spend our money making sure we're a sanctuary state. The battle's on, Sheriff. Yeah, I guess so. Yeah. We want to destroy America just like we've done California. I mean, you know, take San Francisco and Los Angeles. And we want to spread that all across the country. You know, the Democrats, what are they offering people?
[00:46:37] All the three of these entitlements? You know, I guess. They're doing DEI. Yeah. Now listen to this. With regards to the fires, though, here's the deal. They say this is not simply negligence. This is criminal negligence. Top stars. And officials are concerned over the dry reservoir now. I don't know if you know this, but the reservoir was dry. They had that thing disconnected from their whole, you know, infrastructure or whatever.
[00:47:06] And they just can't get water. Mayor was out of town. Mayor promoting all kinds of DEI agendas. The fire chief basically a couple of months ago said, hey, we don't have the resources. We need to take care of business. I mean, this was all known in advance. And now people are saying their whole goal was to destroy the city so they can rebuild it as a new smart city, Sheriff. Yeah.
[00:47:35] Don't know how accurate that is, but that's the, you know. Yeah, Sam, this is the lunacy of all of this. People need to look at the Democrats need to analyze themselves. You know who really does that good? One staunch Democrat supporter, Bill Maher on HBO. He'll tell, he'll say, do you know how ridiculous you people have been? Do you want the insanity of all this?
[00:48:04] And yeah, give me one example. And he said, NAACP. And then she interrupts him and says, what are you talking? He said, you asked for an example. I'm going to give it to you. You interrupted me. He said, the NAACP put out, you see countries put out travel advisories. Do not go to this place. The NAACP put out a travel advisory for all their members and all black people nationwide. Do not travel to Florida. To Florida.
[00:48:33] One of the safest places in the country and probably the world. Florida. And so he tells the truth. But the Democrats really don't seem to care about the truth and never have. But as long as we allow them to escape justice and as long as we fund them till the cows come home, why should they care, Sheriff? Exactly. Yeah. Very good point. Yeah.
[00:49:01] And I'm not defending their position, but I'm just saying, look, we're negligent in our responsibility. Look, Joe Biden let this lie perpetuate. Donald Trump literally ordered. Enough strength capabilities to keep January 6th safe. They defied his order and it went wrong. They blamed it all on Donald and arrested 1500 plus people. OK, now you've got the wildfires and now they're just going, hey, no harm, no foul. Hunter, no harm, no foul.
[00:49:31] Joe literally defies the Supreme Court and pushes for these student loans. No harm, no foul. Well, Joe pardons Hunter. Hunter and Joe involved in pay to play schemes internationally around the world. Mike Johnson documents it all with with some of these other people. And and then, hey. We just let him go. We can't prosecute him. He can't even think straight. So, you know, he can't be accountable for his actions. But yet, look what he's done in the lame duck session.
[00:49:57] Either someone's doing it for him that should be criminally prosecuted, acting as president when they have no authority or Joe's doing it himself. You can't have it both ways, Sheriff. But we've done that and let them all off the hook. So they're just laughing all the way to the bank. Yeah. And that's that's really a big thing because your point is well taken. They're not going to go after Biden. But there's plenty of others that they can be going after and should be.
[00:50:23] And I guess we need to really push this investigation that Sheriff Lamb did before he left office on Alejandro Mayorkas. And that needs to really get some traction. Politicians in Washington, D.C. must pay for their crimes or it is just simply going to continue and it's going to get worse. And you can't imagine how worse it could get, but it will. Well, what about this other clown that just stepped down? What's his name?
[00:50:51] He's the guy that prosecuted Donald and then, you know. Oh, Jack Smith. Jack Smith just resigned and stuff. OK, well, hey, there's evidence that says Jack Smith didn't even have authority. He was put in place by Mayorkas without even authority to do so. He literally gave Trump a black eye, called him a felon, but no accountability. But now this guy resigns. He's just going to walk away, too, after millions of dollars were spent on that scam. Right.
[00:51:19] Yeah, it's if we don't really if we don't take care of the real criminals in Washington, D.C., this is all just going to be the pendulum swinging back and forth that is completely meaningless. OK, it's the left's turn. OK, it's the right's turn. OK, it's this crook side. And now it's that crook side. And, you know, the FBI continues to be a political hack against enemies of the president. And nothing is going to change.
[00:51:48] And that's been going on for a long time. And including their attack on me when I was running for Utah County Sheriff back in 1998. So not. Do you expect anybody to be accountable here? Yeah, I really don't. I don't. No, I do. I really do. Who do you think they're going to take to the bank and prosecute? Um. I don't know if they're going to. Anthony Fauci?
[00:52:19] Well, he already got a pardon. But because Biden was trying to take care of his buddy, you know, but yeah, I really do. And maybe it's not just by prosecutions, but it's going to be by. If they abolish the IRS, Sam. I'm going to take that as a huge step to stopping corrupt. Amen. I agree. But I don't think they'll do it. Yeah. Trump loves the IRS.
[00:52:49] Yeah. Yeah. Well, I'm telling you right now, I will not pay after they get in and they do nothing about this. I will no longer pay taxes to this government so that they can funnel it to Planned Parenthood. I'm not going to pay that anymore. Well, we have great hope through Matt Staver, Liberty Counsel and others through the.
[00:53:16] Oh, whatever her name is, Sandra Merritt or anyway, one of these cases where they're saying that they might be able to shut down Planned Parenthood's funding. And I pray they're right. Yeah, there should be all sorts of protests against that and lawsuits. I mean, you want to talk about it easy to me. That's an easy lawsuit. And if they're going to. Well, it's a hard lawsuit. It's a hard lawsuit only because Planned Parenthood has so much money and the judges are in their pocket.
[00:53:46] Well, of course they have lots of money. The taxpayers, they have an endless trough of taxpayer dollars. That's their disposal. Hey, Sam, thanks. I've got to run. You got it. Thank you, brother. You betcha. Thank you. Sheriff Mack, everybody. CSPOA.org. Become a member of the Constitutional Sheriff's and Peace Officers Association Posse today.
