[00:00:04] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West, you are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. Perverted sexual identification, good news in free fall, CNN's out of control, Democrats are suing the Donald and the Trump administration, and do you have a right to protest?
[00:00:32] Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. I'm Sam Bushman with hard-hitting news that I always refuse to use, and it all starts now. Kirk Cosby, affectionately known as the Honeyman, with us. LocalHoneyman.com. Welcome back, sir. Buenos dias. Greetings and salutations. Howdy, howdy, howdy. Thank you, Sam. Trump went to Texas, had a rally supporting Ken Paxton, and it was a very interesting rally, to say the least, in my opinion,
[00:01:01] because they had protesters there, and the protesters, I don't know how they got in. I guess they pretended they were Trump supporters in the first place or whatever, so deception right from the get-go. And the protesters are out of line, in my humble opinion. They basically are disrupting the event, they're causing trouble. Trump stops, addresses them, deals with them. But there's so many things wrong with this whole thing, 66 ways from Sunday.
[00:01:27] I disagree. I disagree with the protesters, I disagree with the way it was handled, I disagree with just about all of it. Let's watch, and then we'll break this down. Here it is. This is crazy stuff, folks. Check this out. You know, many of these protesters are paid. You know that, right? These are paid protesters. They're paid by enemies of our nation.
[00:01:57] If there are any more paid protesters, please raise your hand and get the hell out of here. All right, so there's so many things wrong with this. Number one, I don't believe you have a right to protest, folks. I know that's what the mainstream press has lied to you and told you, but it is not true. If you look at the First Amendment and your Bill of Rights, folks, you have a right to peaceably assemble.
[00:02:24] All right? You can say also peacefully assemble, whichever you want to. You have the right to create an event and say, hey, we're going to go and we're going to talk about this and address this issue, and we're going to be peaceful and we're going to explain what's wrong with it. So if these people want to have an event outside Trump's event and they want to go and peacefully get together and, you know, meet and discuss and say Trump's off his rock and those guys are bad and whatever, they can do that. But you don't have a right to go in somewhere and disrupt and intentionally cause trouble.
[00:02:51] So I agree with Trump that those people, if they're going to cause trouble, need to leave. I don't know, though, because I wasn't there, if there was a warning in advance like, hey, you guys settle down or else you're going to have to leave. So I don't really know that. But I think you should be polite. Give them a chance to settle down. And, you know, if you disagree with something, you have the right to disagree. But this is our forum and we're making the points we want to make. And if you don't like it, you can get up and peacefully walk out. And that's you can, you know, protest it in that way.
[00:03:20] You can protest it by having another event. There's a lot of peaceful ways or peaceably to do that. But the other problem I have with the whole thing is Trump and whoever's working security, they don't seem like they're being very peaceful and kind to the protesters. You know, in one video, Trump's like, hey, that guy's fat. He needs to lose some weight, man. And, you know, attacking the protesters in a hostile way, that's not a good look either. The president of the United States should say, hey, they're citizens too. They have a right to their opinion.
[00:03:50] They can peacefully assemble, peaceably assemble wherever they want to. They just can't disrupt our event. Can you please give them an offer to stay and be peaceful and not, you know, disrupt or peacefully leave? You know, I think that it should be handled completely different. We'll get into the next piece in a second. But I want Kurt to break this down too. What do you think of this, Kurt? Well, I would say this. I've watched a lot of these rallies. Sure.
[00:04:16] And I'm not telling you that they are simply made for TV, but they are in a lot of ways. They're simply reality TV. And, you know, there are a bunch of people, at least, you know, that agree typically with President Trump. And they're getting together for a good time.
[00:04:43] And there's nothing wrong with that, by the way, Kurt. Right. And they usually are bombarded with, you know, the, what I'd call the lamestream media telling them that they're crazy and everything else all the time. And so when they get in a spot like this, they're pretty much at their, I don't know, favorite place. Sure.
[00:05:07] And then to have some disruptors, you know, come in and, you know, do it. But you could say, hey, that's, you know, sacred ground or whatever. But I also think it's part of the whole thing, Sam. I mean, it's like watching a football game or a NASCAR event and without any crashes. I mean, that wouldn't be that great of an event.
[00:05:34] It's like watching Jerry Springer and everybody's kind and gentle and stuff. Yeah. I mean, it just wouldn't work. But I will. Let me read this one little quote that at least I think this is from the Defending the Republic people, Sidney Powell. And, you know, she knows about being mistreated. She gives a quote from President Trump. She says, this is President Trump's quote.
[00:06:01] They've tried to smear us, slander us, persecute us, demoralize us. They've attacked me. They've impeached me. They've arrested me. And they even tried to kill me. But with you at my side, we have always prevailed. So, you know, there's a long list of, you could call them, you know, like the Declaration of Independence listed all the wrongs, that kind of thing. And so you can certainly see the problem. Now, I'm not going to use it.
[00:06:30] In Trump's defense, compared to all those things done to him, you know, his response is fairly mild in that sense, right? Well, yeah. Nobody's shooting at these people or anything. And, you know, so I understand. But I think there's, like you said, there's enough bad stuff to go around on both sides. And we could all... Well, I would say the protesters are way worse than the other side.
[00:06:54] I'm just saying I think we could hold the moral high ground even more by a kinder response and by a measured kind of response. Other than that, I don't think these protesters should be allowed to be in there. And here's my next question. Yeah. If what Trump says is true, and by the way, I believe it to be true, where Trump says, hey, there are enemies of our country that are paying these protesters. And I think we've seen plenty of that. If you go online, I've done stories about this as well. I mean, there's literally like rent a riot and, you know, rent protesters and rent people. Okay.
[00:07:23] And a lot of these people are paid. And my question for President Trump, though, would be this. If there are really people who are organized with deep pockets, funding people who are intentionally going around and causing mayhem in the country, why don't we prosecute and arrest those people too? It's not enough just to kick the protesters out of an event, although that needs to be done. But let's get, you know, let's follow the money. Let's get to the root of the problem.
[00:07:48] And if you've really got people creating crisis in America, causing police departments and buildings to, you know, deal with mayhem and destruction of private property and destroying of, you know, law enforcement cars. And I mean, we can go on and on. If these people really are paid, let's follow the money and find out who's responsible and arrest those people. Just because, you know, company A or person A, executive A, CEO A doesn't go to a protest.
[00:08:14] If he's funding it and promoting it and organizing it and putting it together, hey, that's the criminal behind it that needs to stop. And so, Trump, if you're right, and I believe you to be correct, why don't we go and take care of business the way we need to? Get rid of these people. Prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Use law and order by all means, but take care of business would be my say, Kurt. Well, couldn't agree more, Sam.
[00:08:37] I mean, we know, you remember hearing that deal where Biden's over in Ukraine and he and, you know, this is when he was a VP. And and they're telling him, hey, man, if you we've got this one prosecutor and he's going to look into your son or whatever. And he says, hey, man, you're not going to get these billions of dollars if you let that prosecutor do it. They got him on tape and everything.
[00:09:05] And he's dropping air bombs, I think, even, too. But when's Joe, I guess. Yeah. And I don't know that Joe spent a day in prison or any of that, you know, Sam, this is the highest levels. He even got arrested for going into the Capitol back in the day. Yeah. Great point. So you're right about that. And so anyway, I wanted to break that down, though, because I think it's a critical top point in the news. And the problem is the clip we showed showed some of the protesters and how they were treated.
[00:09:34] I don't think the protesters are right, but I don't think they were treated right either. Interestingly enough, a CNN video is triple the length and it doesn't really show the protesters at all. And so that's part of the problem, in my opinion, is you get that these protesters are just like peaceful, kind assembly people that are just trying to exist and trying to make their point. And they don't have a prayer to make their point. And this is absolute pure propaganda, people.
[00:09:59] And the CNN video being triple the length and having really virtually none of that in it comparatively tells you the point, Kurt. Mm-hmm. Great point. Yeah, there were probably just a bunch of prayerful protesters that were sitting in there and they didn't even know it was a Trump event. In fact, they were waiting for Kamala Harris to show up, probably. And, you know, all of a sudden they find themselves in the middle of this and they're like, whoo! You know, I mean, it's crazy what you can do with these things, huh?
[00:10:29] You're right. And in my opinion, though, if you really want to protest, do it another way. Don't go to the event and cause trouble. I wouldn't do that to their side. And I don't think they should do it to our side. Let people meet together and peaceably assemble as they think fit and let them do it. And if you want to do the same thing, by all means, you're free to do so, too. Hang tight. Liberty Roundtable live.

[00:11:57] This is a battle. A battle between truth and deceit. A battle between forces that would enslave this country in darkness, and between a media that wants to present you with the truth. We are being censored. America's news outlets no longer provide the truth. 90% of news outlets in the United States are controlled by six corporations. The mission of The Epoch Times is to chase the truth, to ground all statements and facts.
[00:12:25] The Epoch Times dot com. I misspoke, ladies and gentlemen, a quick little correction. It wasn't CNN. It was the Associated Press that had the triple-length video that I was mentioning that doesn't really show a lot of the protesters and all that kind of stuff. But CNN's kind of our next story that I wanted to get into.
[00:12:52] CNN and Politico wanting protection from Donald because he's blackballing them. You know, the press ban kind of from Trump and everything else. We'll get into that in just a second. But let's show some of this video, the other side, you know, how they kind of pitched this. It's a lot longer video. Doesn't have near as much in it. Kind of makes Trump not look as good. But it kind of protects the protesters. Let's check this out. This is what we're talking about.
[00:13:22] See a whole different take, right? Whole different point of view. No, I'm telling you, they pay him for this. We have a good time. See, that's Kurt's point. He's right.
[00:13:52] That guy's got to lose a lot of weight. Make Trump look bad. If there are any more paid protesters, please raise your hand and get the hell out of it. See, make you look at Trump's... Oil. A little more. Maybe more than a little, but a lot of people thought it would be three, four, five times that. When I went in, I thought it could be much higher than that. But we are paying less than under the Biden administration. He didn't do anything. You want to see a horror show? You want to see problems?
[00:14:20] Let them hit San Diego. Let them hit Los Angeles. Listen, you want to see some bad things happen. You want to see a country that would be in free fall. We're not going to let that happen. We protect our cities. We protect our country. We're not letting that happen. See, so the whole point is try to make Trump look worse. Protect the protesters. Do you see the big difference, Kurt? That's interesting, isn't it? Well, yeah.
[00:14:48] Mainly, they just didn't show the protesters being manhandled or moved around. They were just focused on the president. Yeah, so let's take it off the protesters and focus on the president of the United States, that he's kind of the bad guy. He's calling people fat. See, it's lopsided coverage, folks, is what I'm telling you, Kurt. Yeah, well, I mean, you're used to that, aren't you, Sam?
[00:15:12] I mean, the president's used to, what, 90-plus percent negative coverage from the mainstream media. And the only thing I don't understand is why he's entertained them for so long. Now CNN and Politico seek extended, quote, protection against White House access ban. The three news organizations, they say, are scheduled to go to court today because they want to keep their White House access while the lawsuits continue. They're suing the Trump administration.
[00:15:43] Judge Timothy Kelly temporarily blocked the ban, said that it likely violated constitutional protections for fair treatment. The outlets allege retaliation for their coverage. Now what I find interesting about that is, Kurt, I should sue because I don't even get the chance to provide the coverage that I'd like to. Right, yeah. And there should be some federal money coming your way to support your lawsuit, right? I mean, hey.
[00:16:13] That's right. Just fund me in the media, buy me some extra equipment to make the White House look good, and for my lawsuit. I'm just saying it's insane what we've gone to. The only thing I'm surprised at is Trump hasn't shut those clowns out sooner, Kurt. Yeah, good point. Well, I mean. Because they're not honest in their coverage. They're not trying to cover both sides. We try to cover both sides. They don't even try to do that, Kurt. Right. I agree.
[00:16:40] And, you know, I mean, I welcome the exit of those guys so many times. You know, I mean, who says they have to have a press pool? I mean, you know, it's just a joke. You know, so much of those things. The president's got plenty to do without having to deal with all those people. You know? I mean, it's just. I agree with that. Yeah. I agree with that.
[00:17:09] And I would say that it's interesting to me that, you know, I get the press pool back in the day when there was no other good way except for to do it in person, whatever. But now I just don't see it that way. We've got modern technology. You know, they, for example, still they have these examples where Donald Trump's out there in front of the plane. And it's super loud because the plane's cranking up and he's ready to go. And then they have this press briefing where you can't hear anybody and, you know, you can't hardly hear the president.
[00:17:39] You can't hear the question. And they think that's great drama. I don't know what they think it is. But in my opinion, it's clown coverage. Why don't you meet with the president in the press room or meet with the president in a quiet place where you can literally ask a question and you can hear the answer? It's not all just drama and weird clown show stuff. It's real coverage. Hey, president, you know what? You have been blocking people from the press. You know, we believe in free speech, as you do as well, Mr. Trump, President Trump. But you know what?
[00:18:08] Why are you, you know, preventing these people from their coverage? And let Trump explain himself. Don't do this clown show soundbite manipulation of the truth. Have long enough of a conversation and a good enough, you know, view of what's really going on. What's Trump's position and what is the press's position to where the American people could clearly understand it. Right now, what they do is they manipulate it to where most people don't even really understand what the battle's about. I'm for free speech.
[00:18:37] I'm also, though, not allowing the press to get special privilege to lie. And that's really what's going on, Kurt. Yep. Yep. You know, and you can, I mean, especially. Sidney Powell's book called that too, License to Lie or something like that? That's exactly right. Sorry to interrupt, but I just want to tie this together. There's even a book about this, folks. Right.
[00:18:58] And you can put the, compare Joe Biden's presidency and, you know, how many times did he have any uncontrolled press? And President Trump, it's like every day. And yet, you know, the average person that's, you know, kind of consuming media, they don't get any of that, you know?
[00:19:23] And so, you know, they're thinking, man, that president, he's untouchable or, you know, just what they get told by their. He's above the law. Yeah. You know, they say that all the time as if Biden's not above the law. Oh, good point. I mean, it's insanity. So I'm not saying that Trump has given us the access we should have, and I'm not saying that it's actually fair. I think in modern times, you don't need a press corps at all, period. And this idea that CNN, you know, is being wrongfully blocked out because of their coverage.
[00:19:53] Well, hey, man, I've been literally fired because of my coverage of different things. People don't like the free speech that I have. People don't like the take that I take. That's okay. You can like or dislike it if you want to. But in America, we have the right to even say things that are wrong. And I would even defend the press. They have the right to lie. Right? I mean, congressional members have the right to lie on the floor with no repercussions, by the way. They can say anything they want, and there's no accountability at all. Now, I'm not saying lying is good.
[00:20:21] But I am saying if you lie very often, pretty soon the cry wolf story comes your way. Pretty soon people don't trust you. Let that happen to the mainstream press. Don't give them special privilege to the White House. And so if I had White House coverage, I wouldn't treat Trump with kid gloves. But I also wouldn't just only attack the president. I would do my very best to relay both sides of an issue. And just like we've done with this coverage of this event. Hey, I think the protesters are out of line and wrong. I think Trump is mostly right. Right.
[00:20:51] I just think we could be a little kinder and gentler. I don't think that hint of advice is bad. Trump, don't make fun of people because of their weight. It just doesn't go over well when the president does that. Okay? At the same time, Trump's right on the point here. Let's just not make mistakes that lose the higher moral high ground. That's all. And so I think appropriate coverage and commentary is important. At the end of the day, Trump and I can disagree. Doesn't mean we're enemies. Doesn't mean I don't back or support the president.
[00:21:19] Doesn't mean that, okay, I just have my view. And you know what? Let the Americans hear everybody's view and then decide, Kurt. Well, and that's where it comes right down to it. What you really get given, you know, I mean, if you're a standard CNN listener, watcher, whatever, you're going to think a certain thing based on what you've been given.
[00:21:45] If you're, on the other hand, a listener and watcher of this program, you're going to think of certain things because of what we say and what we give you. So that's just how that works. Anyway, so this lawsuit's going on, which I think is tragedy from CNN. I think it's a disaster. I think Trump has the right to do a lot of the things that he's doing.
[00:22:09] And the Democrats are suing Trump administration over taxpayer television ads. Now, this is kind of a problem. At the end of the day, Trump says he'll pay for the ads himself. And his opinion in the beginning was that these ads aren't really promoting a specific party. They're promoting what's been accomplished in the Trump administration. You know, that gets dicey fast. And I'd love to see President Trump just saying, I'll pay for him myself, Kurt. Yep.
[00:22:36] Just like he's had to do with the ballroom and, you know, so many other things, right? And, I mean, how many Americans know that he's never even taken a paycheck at all? And yet Obama and Biden, oh, they, I don't think they never, I mean, ever missed a paycheck, you know? But he doesn't take them. And yet nobody gets told that, right? Well, that's right. And that's part of the whole point that I'm making.
[00:23:04] If you read the White House briefing that comes out from the White House, hey, the coverage is way different than you see from the press. And way different than even my coverage. I think it's, you know, of course it comes to the White House. So, you know, it's kind of leaning towards Trump in many ways. So, I think it's fair to be somewhat, you know, have a wise eye about it. Because, of course, it's going to tell the Trump side of the story. But at least we get the Trump side of the story for once, Kurt. That's right. Instead of the anti-Trump. When have we been able to get the President's side of the story, really? Right.
[00:23:35] Right. It's very, very seldom. Like he said, 90 plus percent is against him. And yet, then the last election, what, he won seven out of seven swing states? I mean. Yeah. Sadly, I wonder how it's going to go for the midterms, ladies and gentlemen. Because the press and the Democratic Party have gone berserk. And I certainly agree that we need, you know, better action from Congress.
[00:24:03] Better action from the Republicans. There's no doubt about it. They've been disappointing. At the same time, Trump's right. You let the Democrats, the ALCs and company. The ALCs and company. Maxine Waters and company take over. It'll be disastrous. It'll be a country in free fall. He's right about that. It's not a scare word tactic. It's a reality check.
