[00:00:04] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West. You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show.

[00:00:14] We got a surge in attacks. We got Bank of America participating in fraud. They got hit with a big old fine. We got Netflix letting people go because they're melting down. And hey, we got inflation that's totally out of control. Not to mention midterm and spending is out of control.

[00:00:42] To talk about all this on the segment called Honest Money Report is our dear friend Heath Perkins, well-known leader when it comes to constitutional currency, FreeWaterCoinCo.com. Welcome, sir. Thanks for having me back, Sam. There's so much going on. Let's get started. Where's gold and silver sitting right now?

[00:01:04] Yeah, gold's sitting at $4,160.08 and silver's at $57.01. So you're about a 73-to-1 ratio. And that ratio's gone up a teeny bit, right? Yes, yep. That ratio was, last week was 69-to-1, this week it's 73-to-1.

[00:01:25] All right, shoot. We don't want that going up. We want that ratio to go down, down, down, down where it belongs so that we have correct realities. And where are we sitting? Do we expect an October surprise? Or do we think things are kind of stabilizing? The dollar's getting stronger? What's happening? That's the million-dollar question. Everyone's trying to figure out where to put money.

[00:01:50] Where you should put money, ladies and gentlemen, is my bank account. I'm just telling you. That's where it should go. Don't you think, Heath? Yeah. Oh, yeah. No, I understand. People are wondering if they should flee to sound money or if they're okay staying in the dollar and the diversified fake assets that are out there. Most of it is just future assets. But virtually none of it's real. It's all just flat-out gambling. And it's all game-playing when you really get down to it. 99% of it is. And Trump's not going to make things better. He's not going to tame inflation.

[00:02:19] He's not going to, unless he starts to get out of the fake markets, the pretend, the future's gambling, and gets back to real assets and gets back to real money. The more we have these futures and the more we have fractionalized banking and everything else, the more hazard you have. And there's no way you can increase that hazard but yet not have headwinds related to it, Heath. I agree.

[00:02:43] I agree. Yeah. The hope is that someone sees the warning signs that are coming. I mean, our interest being higher than the defense budget. I mean, this is just insanity. We're at a point where, and we spend more than the next 10 nations on defense, and yet our interest is higher than our defense budget. Like, these are numbers we can't comprehend.

[00:03:08] We're not sitting in a good position for this October, so could there still be an October surprise? I'm not putting anything past it. October always seems to be that fun month that shakes things up, so I like it. Now, here's the interesting thing. Bank of America hit with a $1.2 billion fine for neglecting anti-money laundering measures.

[00:03:38] Bank of America has been fined a staggering $1.2 billion. They claim that they've failed to rein in, and they failed to monitor and report suspicious financial transactions, including money related to foreign nations like Mexico, for example, Russia, Burroughs. Despite these previous warnings, they say, from security, quote, regulators,

[00:04:07] the bank continued to make questionable transfers of funds. This penalty, they say, one of the largest of its kind, underscores heightened regulatory scrutiny and saying that, hey, the administration's cracking down on this stuff. But Eldon, I don't see how you're cracking down when you allow this stuff to continue. If they didn't have funding money, fractionalized banking, none of this would be happening, sir. Well, of course. Yeah.

[00:04:37] What we need to do is end the federal resource system. So that's another story, but it's just, you know, when you give such power to people that are unaccountable, of course, nobody should have the power to just create money. That's like saying, you know, give power to somebody to just do whatever. Unlimited power.

[00:05:08] That is the quintessential problem, Heath. Agreed. Well, yeah, like, anyone who has the ability to, like, print money can then go and buy anything that they need, whether that's, you know, influence, whether that's weaponry, whatever it might be. Like, that kind of power is very dangerous because it is like a superpower. I mean, in this world, that's the closest thing you can get to a superpower outside of, you know, Christian beliefs.

[00:05:37] I mean, this is, like, that's a superpower. You have the ability to wield anything you need to at any time because you can just write a check for it. I mean, yeah. Like... And the problem with this, in my mind, ladies and gentlemen, is it's not like everybody's given that superpower. It's only the few at the expense of the rest. And that's when you know something's wrong, when the government pulls the lever of favoritism towards one at the expense of the rest. Look at the partisan parties, for example.

[00:06:05] The Democrat and the Republican parties, the elephant and the donkey, they have more access to everything than we do. You don't believe me? Well, federal regulators now find major banks. Well, they didn't find them, I'm sorry. They find that the major banks restricted customers over beliefs and lawful businesses. So, if you had a gun business or something like that, they would shut your banking down.

[00:06:30] The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency reported on October 14th that all nine large national banks, literally between 2020 and September 2025, literally shut down banking and interfered with the banking of people they didn't like. Conservative people, Christian people, gun businesses. The agency said that broad reputational policies lacked objective financial risk standards,

[00:06:58] and they just disadvantaged customers who they didn't like or didn't believe in. The review included JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citibank, and Wells Fargo, just to name a few. Banks, of course, dispute this political or religious discrimination, but the fact is it stands. So you've got banks now that are ignoring and shipping money all over the world. And then they got fined $1.2 billion.

[00:07:23] And then you've got these banks that shut people down religiously or politically for things that the banks disagree with. Right? So they shut down people like the political cesspool. They tried to shut me down. They tried to shut a bunch of people down. And here's the problem. The comptroller says, we're reporting this, but there's no penalties. Do you want to respond to that, Heath? No penalties, sir. So that means they're going to do it again is what it means. Of course.

[00:07:52] And the sad part about these fines is they never actually go to court, so you never find out the full truth of what actually was happening. So they just give you a, oh, we slapped them on the wrist for this. The fines are usually nowhere near what the consequences should have been. It's just free money to the government. The banks know what's going to happen. They plan for it. They never go to court, so they don't have to disclose anything. And this is kind of that MO they have. So it's a bit of a struggle there.

[00:08:23] But, yeah. Yeah, it's like Microsoft. Microsoft would partner with a company, gain their technology, fire the partner, steal the technology, and then roll out with it. And then the company would sue that got slighted. And then the suit would eventually pay off. But if they made $10 billion and they paid out $2 billion, who cares? Exactly. Do it again, do it again, do it again. And the federal government's following the same pattern, Eldon. Yeah. Yeah, it's real unfortunate that this is going on.

[00:08:48] It's just a corruption of the legal and judicial systems, which is a very, very nefarious type of thing we have going on. All right. I'm not sure what we do about that, but here's the problem. Midterm and spending reports are coming out now. It tops $10 billion and projected to be $11.6 billion.

[00:09:16] Candidates and their supporters have already spent more than $10 billion on advertising for the 26 midterms. That's according to an October Washington Post report. No, Huffington Post report. They got the information for the New York Times. Advertising tracks, impact projects, they're projected to be about $11.6 billion. And that remains a forecast that covers advertising.

[00:09:44] But it doesn't even cover all election expenses, Heath. Yeah, this is, I'm sure that's a new record. Yeah, we always get a little boost in the economy come every two to four years. I mean, it's nuts. But it's only really a boost to the big boys, though. I haven't got a penny for any, you know, that kind of stuff. They only want to spend money with the big boys. Even the Republicans who criticize the mainstream press, that's where they put their money, sir. Yeah.

[00:10:14] Well, the boost to the economy is just GDP, what I'm stating. They're not necessarily a boost to any of us. Yeah, no, it's the amount of money that flows through Washington. Like, it's just the reality that, you know, when there's that much money on the line, there is going to be corruption. That's just our system. So, when you're playing with these numbers and you don't have, you know, civil servants not taking paychecks. Let's go ahead and skip the break. Continue, Heath.

[00:10:41] When you have civil servants that are still taking paychecks, they won't vote against their own ability to inside trade. They won't do things that prevent them from having the privileges. You know, we're just going to get stuck with the same thing. And the sad part is we need to start this at a local level. In the local system, people get away with a lot of stuff. And then it moves up to a state level and it moves up to a national level.

[00:11:11] Like, we're not holding anyone's feet accountable. And the sad part about that is no one fears the people anymore. They have very little fear of us because we're so easy to sway and we're so easy to be distracted by something different. So, it's a problem that isn't being addressed because we just, we don't have the attention span anymore. It's a very sad thing. Eldon, what do you say to that?

[00:11:38] Well, this underlines the, I think, the reason why certain people are so opposed to indirect ways of electing people. Such as a caucus convention system at the state level. Or even indirectly electing U.S. senators as needs to be done.

[00:12:01] There's people that stand to gain massive amounts of money through advertising and reaching out to the average voter with very superficial type of messages. Because that's all many people have time for.

[00:12:21] But if they would, you know, delegate that to somebody that has time and energy and willingness to study it, question, then, you know, number one, there's a lot less money spent. And number two, you get to examine the candidates much more deeply than you would otherwise. And make those, you know, recommendations to the people.

[00:12:51] Well, I find this kind of fascinating, ladies and gentlemen, just for you to think about. They complain there's election fraud and they want to pass this bill that, you know, gives the Fed more control of elections, which I think is a bad idea. I think we ought to reject mail-in balloting, but I don't think we ought to do it at the federal level. I think states should be in charge of elections. Congress has a role to play, but they failed at their role. I remember back at J6 time, they were supposed to investigate if there was vote fraud and Congress never did. All they did was claim they got attacked.

[00:13:21] Never mind the government attacked itself in a way and used good, honest patriots as their patsy. But at the end of the day, they never even looked into it. So Congress dodged its duty as well. And if we put more on the federal election docket, we'll just see more dodging of duty, derelict in their duty. Look at campaign spending. They've got it locked down to where you and me and everybody else can only put in a certain amount of money. But, hey, if you partner with a PAC and you partner with some of these, you know, black op money things, you don't have to relate at all where you put your money.

[00:13:51] So if you're Elon Musk, you can put in $360 million, no problem. If you're Mark Zuckerberg, you can put in $400 million, no problem. If you're the Israeli government, you can route it through weird ways. So you route it to a media company, and then that media company invests in a PAC, and now you can't really – I mean, you can trace the dots and know where the money goes. But there's no direct relational accountability. No laws have been broken. It's all good. Okay, so then we're going to talk about all these election things.

[00:14:20] We're going to blame it on the Democrats. The Republicans are going to fix it. Meanwhile, this out-of-control spending, I mean, $10 billion for midterms and growing by a billion before it's over or a billion and a half before it's even over. And we've been punked to the oomph degree, Heath. Yeah. No, very much so.

[00:14:44] We're at a point where everything seems to be so broken. It's like, where do you start fixing the leaks? Where do you start fixing, you know, any portion of it? And it's almost like creating a smaller community that is more like-minded that will start behaving for the best interest of the individuals and not for one or two.

[00:15:13] And more that local government is the only way to really do this. And it's even hard to do it in larger cities these days. Larger cities have had this same kind of, you know, politicking where they can get away with certain pet projects and they can be land investors and have certain things go their way because they're in there.

[00:15:34] So it needs to come back to finding the right community, finding the right tribe, finding the group that can go this direction, you know, with kind of God at the center of it and focus on that. Because we're not going to change how the masses are doing things. We're not going to change how politics truly are doing things because we haven't held anyone's feet to the fire for decades. But it can be changed on a small scale.

[00:16:04] And if we do enough of these small-scale changes, then hopefully that will catch on and people will start looking in that direction for those changes. And stop looking to the larger groups for changing things. Amen to that. The John Birch Society, Eldon, has been working on educating Americans and advocating for that change. I've seen emails how they have these latest webinars on the Constitution helping people understand.

[00:16:32] And they've had webinars and events and different things. They've got an event coming up in 2027 that we want to give people a little bit of a heads-up on. Let's mention that because, you know, he is pointing to solutions, and this is where they are, Eldon. Yeah. Now, this is, you know, not an official JBS event, but something that is inspired by past activities that John Birch Society has done. In the past, we've had summer camps for youth at roughly high school age.

[00:17:01] And so we've got a number of members in the area that said, yeah, let's do something like that again. We're calling it Rocky Mountain Freedom Camp. It's going to be at Camp Utaba, which is up in northern Utah. And if you go to RockyMountainFreedomCamp.org, you can find out all about it and, you know, the types of speakers and program we'll have. And it's going to be June 6th through the 10th is when it'll be. So a Sunday through the 1st. And the beautiful part about this is it really brings the youth in.

[00:17:31] That's one of the things that a lot of conservative patriots don't really seem to realize when you go to their thing. It's like a geriatric conference. We need to bring the youth into these things for sure, Eldon. Yeah, for sure. That's where, you know, the future is. You know, so we want to make sure that they're cultivated in some of these basics that so many people miss, you know, whether they're youth or adults or whatever.

[00:17:58] But yeah, RockyMountainFreedomCamp.org is the website. All right. I love it. Heath, inflation out of control. Inflation surges and undermines President Trump's economic promises. And it's casting doubt on the midterms, non-Republicans, et cetera, et cetera. I don't think the Democrats will do any better, but there you have it.

[00:18:22] And then they say Social Security beneficiaries will get a 3.6 percent raise for 2027 because of inflation. And so you'll get more Social Security, 3.6 percent. But they say inflation bumped up this month to 3.7 percent. The bottom line is Trump doesn't have this tamed at all, does he? Not a chance. Yeah, we're looking at runaway numbers.

[00:18:51] This is getting out of control to where just living day-to-day here in America is becoming so difficult. And this is the struggle and the stress that everyone's going through. I've been looking at potentially building my own house. And I was talking to a lot of Trish and he's like, hey, just so you know, if I quote you on any materials, that will change the very next day. So if you don't buy it same day, there's no chance of that being locked in.

[00:19:19] And because the copper and these wires or whatever else they're using, it's constantly changing. Like these numbers are just going up on a daily basis. And so everything is moving across the board. And so it's harder to maintain what we have. It's harder to build what we need. This out-of-control spending, I mean, it's funny because everyone looks at the Republicans as the more conservative.

[00:19:44] But yet, you know, Bush took us from $5 trillion when he started in debt to $10 trillion. So he doubled it. Obama took us from $10 trillion to $20 trillion. Again, both of those had eight years. Trump's first year, he went from $20 trillion to $27 trillion. So he was even outpacing Obama on spending. Like every group is a huge spender. Like there's no slowing the spend. It doesn't matter who gets in. It's the same outcome.

[00:20:11] Like it might be slower with one or the other, but it still ends up in the same end result, which is we have too much debt. We have too much debt. We have too much inflation. The central banks, if we don't do something, are going to own everything because they're the ones who's issued all this debt and it's owed back to them. The world's $400 trillion in debt, but we're not in debt to each other as nations. We're in debt to central banks.

[00:20:35] Central banks have really put a number on us and we don't understand that no one is helping us when it comes to stopping the spending. It doesn't matter which side of the eye you're on. There are very few who oppose these spending bills because they have a pet project here or there or whatever it might be that needs to be addressed. They won't be addressed unless they vote one way or another. So like everyone seems to be compromised when it comes to stopping us spending.

[00:21:04] And we're in a war right now, which is one of the fastest ways of spending again. And in a wartime, not only is it one of the fastest ways to spend money, but it's also a way to get blowback and have hatred and anger and vitriol around the world. And then most importantly, history shows the times that we lose liberty the most is wartime. Eldon? Yes. Many of the founders recognize that.

[00:21:32] James Madison was one that, you know, explained that to people, that the means of ensuring security from abroad are often the same means that are used to quell liberty at home. Of course, that's not a direct quotation, but, you know, paraphrase what he said. It articulates it well. Yes, sir. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So we need to be very wary of that.

[00:22:01] If somebody is anxiously engaged in trying to get us into war, that's where we need to push back. And, you know, one of the solutions, though, that has unfortunately been forgotten is, as James Madison said, it was actually a genius. He used the word genius in putting the decision of going to war in the hands of Congress. Rather than in the executive. Yep.

[00:22:31] And if we'd obey it, we probably wouldn't be at war right now. And our war actions would be limited. They would have direction along with the funding. They would have a get in and get out timeline. They would have all that structure that our founding fathers expected and virtually demanded via the supreme law of the land that we continue to ignore and make just, you know, excuses. Why not? All right. Before the end of the hour, Heath, really quick. What should people be looking at buying? Obviously, dimes, quarters, and halves. But what else is on the market right now that seems to be a pretty good buy? Yeah.

[00:23:00] So, dimes, quarters, and halves for the silver. There's also another product that we've produced. It's called a double divisible. It allows someone to buy a one-ounce piece, but you can break that into halves or you can break those into quarters by hand. So, it's a way of having the simplicity of a one-ounce, but also having the flexibility. Oh, that's sweet. So, you actually break the metal? I mean, it breaks into pieces? Yep. You can break those into perfect quarters. Like the old piece of eight, almost. Yeah, exactly. Yep. It was modeled after the piece of eight. And are those expensive?

[00:23:31] What's that? Are those expensive? No. They're right around what a – they're under a collector round. They're about a buck over what a regular silver round runs for. Wow. So, not much at all. And the cool part is you can break it up. So, if you have the need for a bigger payment, no problem, or a smaller payment, hey, we can take care of business. That's actually a brilliant idea. And it's, you know, a lot of what the goldbacks are trying to do, but yet it's actually done with real metal. I love it. I love it. I love it. Heath Piller, everybody.
