Lew moves through American governance, from 1913 to the present, to discuss the following important institutions and programs politicians sold to the public with LIES. They continue to affect your life in the present, whether you know it or not.
The following were sold under false pretenses:
· the amount of income taxes you pay and the complexity involved in paying them for many
· the value, or the fading value of your money, and specific affects like rising home prices
· your tax burden and future retirement under Social Security and Medicare,
· your own student loan debt or the affect of that program on all of higher education,
· the racial preferences and gender weirdness stemming from the Civil Rights Act of 1964,
· Obamacare’s transformation of medicine toward something more like the Cuban model where you can choose which powerless doctor/employee to go to
· the big 1965 immigration bill that has drastically altered the make-up of our country,
· the Patriot Act that sacrificed our freedom and privacy for the hope we will be kept safe
· the international trade deals that continue to strip manufacturing jobs from America
· Dodd-Frank, and the idea federal regulations help our economy and protect us from big business
· The national and international public health regime which strips away our rights and turned the Covid response into its own health disaster
Each of the institutions and programs involved her were each sold to the public in a dishonest way. Some of these building blocks of bigger and bigger government are over 100 years old but continue to affect the lives of average Americans today.
Then there are the wars: WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Wars by definition are life and death matters for those directly involved, with tremendous rippling affects for everyone in the society. Each one of these wars were presented to the public with varying degrees of dishonesty and each had lasting affects.
We will have to live with these lies and their repercussions until we summon the collective will to defeat the Fabian (gradual movement toward Marxist total government) project and restore American liberty.
[00:00:01] It's midnight in America and this is the hour of decision. My name is Lou Moore. Tonight we're going to be talking about lies We have to live with. In other words lies that were told to the American public to sell various policies and
[00:00:23] institutions that even if they're over a hundred years old like the Federal Reserve that still affect us on a daily basis in our own lives. So let's get right into it the Federal Reserve. This was supposed to make sure folks
[00:00:41] that everybody had plenty of credit when they needed it but not too much credit that they would put money in the system scientifically but not too much money into the system scientifically and that the value of your money
[00:01:00] would be protected and that you would be protected from the business cycle essentially from boom and bust economies that you would not have to worry about a big recession or a big depression. And that came in in 1913 but guess what? They lied. The Federal Reserve was about
[00:01:22] taking more power unto the powers that be in this country, the Rockefellers, the Morgans and in the background there the House of Rothschild and other large combines working with these folks to create
[00:01:41] essentially a private bank. The Federal Reserve Bank isn't private and not going to get into all that stuff right now but what I am telling you is they had the power to create money out of nothing and the people who control that power
[00:01:56] have a lot more power than they did before this institution was put into place and it was not to smooth out the economy. We've had the great depression 15 years, more than 15 years after the Federal Reserve came into existence
[00:02:13] we had a major recession, I would call it a depression in throughout rural America in the early 1920s. You don't even hear that talked about today. That was several years after all these experts were put into place at the Federal Reserve
[00:02:30] and you know and we've had several downturns and a great recession as they call it where the they were seriously talking about a complete collapse of our economy and that wasn't too many years ago folks. I was 2008 2009, 2010 that era all of these things happening under the watch
[00:02:53] of the Federal Reserve and now I will also introduce the fact that you're walking down the street and you got a $10 bill in your pocket every second you're walking down that street that $10 bill is worth less
[00:03:10] than it was just a moment before it might be a fraction but inflation is rampant I don't really think I have to tell you this unless you don't eat unless you don't have to put a ruff over your head
[00:03:23] unless you don't have to ever go to the doctor ever go to school you know everything is getting more expensive your money is worth less every day you are breathing on this earth that's not right folks that's stealing and that's because of the inflationary policies
[00:03:45] of the Federal Reserve and you know I talk about in the podcast I just did on the great recession that started in 2008 the whole precursor the whole underlying problem there was many problems corrupt actors but the whole underlying precursor to the great recession was Alan Greenspan
[00:04:07] chairman of the fed pumping the money into the system pumping and pumping and pumping which is exactly what they did to a much greater degree around this covid stuff and that's why you are suffering today with high gas prices with high food prices with high everything prices
[00:04:26] too much money in the system creates inflation which steals value right out of your pocket excuse me so they lied folks during that same time 1913 they passed the income tax and they told us as we weren't around but our ancestors
[00:04:49] that this was to get the rich it's the rich that are the problem it started with the populist movement of the late 1800s the progressives picked up the theme and of course that by the time we get to the progressives we have a lot of marxists
[00:05:07] in the wood pile there and Karl Marx himself made establishment of a graduated income tax in other words an income tax where supposedly the richer you are the higher rate you pay not just the more taxes but a higher rate of tax payment
[00:05:25] greatly accelerating how much you pay the graduated income tax is a plank in the communist manifesto so they instituted that system but they told the public oh this will only be for the rich people you will never have to worry about this and the quote unquote rich people
[00:05:46] laughing their heads off are creating tax free foundations to avoid paying the new tax that they are supposed to pay this new income tax and this is the inception of the Rockefeller Foundation the Carnegie Endowment the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace the Guggenheim
[00:06:06] Foundation etc etc and what do all these people do with this money put in these tax free foundations well sometimes they help the little children and sometimes they send doctors overseas and a lot of times they spend day and night trying to reorganize your society around total
[00:06:26] government at home and a world government overseas all over the planet this has been the goal of the Fort well the Ford Foundation came later but the Rockefeller Foundation the Carnegie Foundations that's their goal and manipulating the public manipulating the education system
[00:06:48] to get the to condition the public to accept these things so that was a great start to the income tax but then you can't you're not going to have a bunch of politicians sitting there
[00:07:02] with a mechanism to draw more funds out of the public for them to spend you're not going to have that mechanism sitting there idle and you know the old Ramaman you'll quote about
[00:07:16] taking advantage of a crisis so we get to the great depression now a few years later Franklin Delano Roosevelt at the helm and suddenly we realize that oh no you know we're gonna all have
[00:07:28] to sacrifice here in America and even end of the war right behind the Great Depression and by the end of the war everybody's paying the income tax everyone's paying and then we have social security system which comes in during Franklin Roosevelt 1930s
[00:07:47] that's supposed to be a perfect system so we all retire with plenty of money and we have safeguards in place folks so even though you have to have a social security number it will never be used
[00:08:00] to identify you other than as a recipient of social security and you don't have to worry about a national ID system because it says right on the card it's not allowed to be used for anything
[00:08:13] but social security purposes but they lied they lied about that they lied about the fiscal prospects for this system long term whether it could even survive which it's about ready to collapse right now they lied about its effectiveness as a retirement fund it's a terrible investment
[00:08:34] and they kept raising the taxes on it for you and your payroll taxes for a small business people and it's still been on the edge of bankruptcy for a long time in plus and politicians
[00:08:48] they can't help themselves folks they steal every penny that comes in and spend it immediately immediately there's no fund for this you pay this payroll tax directly or indirectly
[00:09:01] and a lot of it goes to social security they steal it all folks they just take it and hope when it's time to pay you there's some money somewhere undercover to take care of that obligation
[00:09:14] so there was social security medicare sold the same way sold the oh boy this is not going to cost very much money folks this is a great deal all the old people are going to get free medical
[00:09:26] care and the poor people have a new resource medicaid which is it was part of that and no that's not what happened and on top of on top of top of this folks when you have the government
[00:09:39] come in with a huge program that has nothing but money in it initially what happens to the prices in that market what happens to medical prices what happens to pricing with student loans which
[00:09:54] i'm going to mention in just a moment it goes up because demand demand raises prices when there's great demand for something created by the fact everybody now has money that they can spend
[00:10:11] on their medical care the price of medical care goes up so then the program costs more to administer because all the prices for what they're covering for you have gone up it's a
[00:10:24] vicious cycle and medicare is in that cycle as is the prescription drug benefit which is a huge part now of the medicare expenditures that was brought in under george w bush so not a great system
[00:10:43] medicare terrible system the drug benefit of course it benefits some people but long term overall system and systemically it's a terrible thing as is social security sorry about it student loan program is the same thing applied to colleges why is university why are university
[00:11:05] educations so expensive why are they so expensive folks why did they why did they price of a college degree go up stratosphericly just from that time i was in university
[00:11:20] up until the mid 90s compared to what my daughters had to deal with in the last few years the answer to that is the federal government creating this humongous student loan program and student grant
[00:11:35] program putting a ton of money on the table and the universities want to spend every dollar of it they can't it is the same thing exactly the same thing you can look at a graph when they started
[00:11:48] the student loan program it goes straight up the cost of a university education it separates the consumer from the producer and whether you do that in medical care or if you do that if you do that
[00:12:06] in education you're going to get a huge increase in costs a huge increase in inefficiencies it centralizes these institutions it's a terrible thing the idea that the lie that enforcing rights federally and creating privileges federally is not going to end up
[00:12:33] causing problems i'm now talking about the civil rights act of 1964 they promise folks they absolutely promised there would never be any privileges any entitlements created from this law that was just going to be a preventative to prevent people from being discriminated against on the
[00:12:55] base of race they added sex and now you know they're adding everything out of the sun one of the 98 genders or whatever and you know no talk of affirmative action when they were debating
[00:13:07] this bill but after they passed it they moved immediately folks for these racial set asides and all these other things that are evil evil and this is de i comes directly from this original civil rights act that was passed in 1964 that also told people who have private property
[00:13:29] what they can and cannot do with their private property that is also wrong and you're setting up federal mechanisms you're destroying federalism you're destroying states rights and this is a classic example of something that sounds so good to some people at least
[00:13:48] that was so bad it doesn't accomplish the purpose really it doesn't there's obama care let's talk about obama care for a moment do you remember can you hear obama's voice well he won't take away uh you know he won't take your doctor away from me you could choose
[00:14:07] which doctor you go to well maybe but obama care immediately jacked up the price of insurance on health care tremendously when it came in the whole industry is scrambling and has been since obama care centralizing there's fewer and fewer medical organizations every year
[00:14:36] and just about every part of the country there's very few doctors that have any independence now they're virtually all employees unless they they have formed their own ppo i won't get into all that detail right now but you know obama's transformation of medicine looks something more
[00:14:57] like the cuban model which boy there's a bit that's a big surprise but so maybe you can choose which doctor you want to go to but you have to get a your employer has to get you a different plan
[00:15:10] every year because he's trying to find the cheapest plan possible for himself and still give you the medical care he's promising so you may not be able to even go to the doctor
[00:15:20] you went to the year before if they're not in the other system and you know i see this company after company i've even been involved in it running companies and you know it's bad it's
[00:15:32] terrible the cost have just skyrocketed they were already going up stratosphericly up and up and up every year before obama care but again just like with what we're going to talk about in a minute
[00:15:47] the regulation on banks all of uh hope obama's who do was all about centralizing power in these various sectors of the economy in fewer and fewer hands folks in hands always related to our masters and to wall street the people who elected obama to begin with what a
[00:16:08] fraud he was what a fraud he was so obama care lies lies about obama care and there was the big immigration bill i'm kind of stooping around a little bit time wise the big 1965 immigration act
[00:16:26] what was the big promise there oh it will not it will not drastically affect or even really affect to any degree at all the cultural makeup of our country it won't do that of course it would
[00:16:39] do that because what it did they said people can come from anywhere any part of the earth and come to united states may easier for them to come and well you see what's happened i mean
[00:16:50] the population changed drastically in just a few years big lie it was a big lie and this is the legal immigration and for a variety of reasons including this bill not long after it passed the
[00:17:07] big flood of illegal immigration blood folks of illegal immigration it didn't start under joe biden for crying out loud it started under linden johnson we've been experiencing this for well over 50 years and there's the patriot act i'm gonna be safe here gotta have the patriot act
[00:17:29] this is the republicans push this thing shove this thing down our throats it sacrificed our privacy more than it was already being sacrificed and our freedom for the hope that we would be kept
[00:17:46] safe ladies and gentlemen when the government is offering you safety you are almost in every case trading your freedom now for a lot of people around the world a lot of cultures that's a perfectly good transaction if they're actually kept safe but we're americans we're not supposed
[00:18:13] to go for that kind of thing we value our freedom above everything else and we've seen the abuses and they started pretty early folks in my podcast on the great recession i mentioned governor
[00:18:31] elliott spitzer of new york and point out that he was caught up in a scandal of his own not a financial scandal but a prostitution scandal and that threw him out of office but freed him up to be
[00:18:46] very candid about the corruption on wall street and the corruption of politicians but what i didn't get into in that podcast was how he was found out it was through an nsa intercept folks best i know
[00:19:03] about this i've been told by members of congress this is how it happened they took national security information you know we're all being monitored 24 7 everywhere we go everything we do to keep us safe
[00:19:20] and they took out an opponent of wall street using this information what he was doing was immoral i guess it was also illegal to a degree visiting a prostitute but it was not a national
[00:19:35] security concern but uh meh and suddenly a lot of information out on old elliott spitzer he's visiting the prostitutes there so he's gone one more opponent the system gone just one example
[00:19:50] and look at trump just look at what we've gone through in the last few years the faissa courts the corruption of the fbi and all the power they have just from the patriot act alone so we were
[00:20:06] lied to about that we were lied to big time about all these trade deals do you remember some of you are old enough to remember ross perot i just as his whole crusade on spending but he got into
[00:20:22] the trade deals too and debated al gore on national television this is when he famously said that nafta was going to create a great sucking sound in the united states and of course that sucking sound
[00:20:37] was our manufacturing jobs going to mexico going overseas gorge has laughed the new york times laughed at him oh he's so eccentric and so ridiculous it's exactly what happened folks we were lied to completely lied to about these trade deals they have never advanced united states
[00:20:57] in any way long term yes we got a bunch of cheap junk from china whoa that's fantastic but we don't have a manufacturing base anymore we don't we don't even make hardly any of our medications
[00:21:09] here anymore we're dependent on countries that hate us for parts of our national security industrial complex it all needs to be here we don't probably need to be making some of it but
[00:21:22] it all needs to be here folks they lied about every part of these trade deals which were really just building blocks for the new world order they were not some great free trade initiative
[00:21:36] anyway big lies big lies there if you as a manager family lost a good manufacturing job and was unable to really recover and went to three jobs to keep their mortgage and then had that torpedoed by the
[00:21:52] great recession uh you know my heart goes out to you but this is lies we were told that affect us that affect members of our family that affect the great community that is the united states
[00:22:06] federal regulations i mentioned a few minutes earlier you know public school teaches us first of all teaches us we're teaching you they say we're teaching you critical thinking and then they make sure you don't do any and then they brainwash you i tell you among other things
[00:22:23] oh federal regulations are needed in all kinds of places because everybody in business is a crook and the federal government is a wonderful institution and so for example if we have a great recession we don't send anyone to jail we don't hold anyone accountable as an individual
[00:22:42] for the lying for all of the scam aspects that created the great recession but we put in a whole new regime of regulations including dod frank and what is two of the big upshots
[00:22:59] of obama doing this first of all it was almost impossible to get a home loan for several years after the great meltdown there in 2008 which just exacerbated the whole problem because the whole problem was a crash at the real estate market and then if you take that crash
[00:23:24] and then tell people they can't you know practically nobody can borrow money to buy a home that just makes the prices go down further terrible but the second big impact and many people don't
[00:23:36] know this small banks are basically on the extinction list they should be in the endangered species act less because the banking industry has consolidated to a frightful degree since dod frank and since the administration of barack who's saint obama not a great champion of the people
[00:24:02] not for small business not for diffusing power in our society for centralizing power just like any communist would want to do and that's exactly what's happened in the banking industry where as of 2020 i believe 60 percent of small banks had gone out of business over that period
[00:24:25] of time for when obama was in office absolutely criminal federal regulations advantage big business automatically because big business can deal with federal regulations they have the resources they have the manpower and they have the hearer of the regulators and small business is always damaged
[00:24:51] by more bureaucracy more red tape more administrative power over their business and this is in every field and this is one of the reasons why trump was great when he was in the white house before because
[00:25:05] he took the first big swing at the administrative state ever because the republicans talk a good game they get in but didn't do a damn thing not not nixon even reagan struggled in this area
[00:25:19] bush is no no good but trump went after it and slowed down the rate of among other things of small banks closing then there's the public health scam this comes right out of the progressive
[00:25:32] era oh boy we kind of have these public health experts that we won't be safe without these people of course baked into the laws all the way back to the progressive era was the suspension of your
[00:25:46] rights by public health bureaucrats and that was a simmering vulnerability to our civil liberties that just simmered after the big influenza outbreak of it was in 1918 1919 I believe kind of simmered but boy big time we found out about it with the covid scam so the national
[00:26:11] and international public health regime can strip away your rights working with corrupt governors and others and then of course the other thing about the public health system it is a bureaucracy it is corrupt it is centralized and when they make a bad decision like the mrna so called
[00:26:37] vaccines for example bad things happen and bad things have happened to many many many of our fellow citizens and we are only just beginning to see the health impacts of the terrible public health policy that was forced on us through the covid scam each of the institutions and
[00:27:03] programs involved in what I've just mentioned were sold to the public in a dishonest way some of these building blocks a bigger and bigger government are over 100 years old but continue to affect the lives of average americans today and now we're going to turn
[00:27:27] our attention to another area related to my subject the wars the wars of the 20 and 21st century or war one or war two korea vietnam arach and afghanistan wars by definition our life and death matters for those directly involved with tremendous rippling effects for everyone in society
[00:27:55] each one of these wars were presented to the public with varying degrees of dishonesty and each of these wars had lasting negative effects on america so we start with war war one
[00:28:13] oh let's see that was the war to end all wars total scam right off the bat but why were we involved with war war one nobody was invading us nobody was threatening us western europe
[00:28:29] was completely gutted by world war one and not just physically psychologically read all quiet on the western front the damage that world war one did to western civilization is incalculable the loss of confidence in western civilization and the beginning of communism all involved with
[00:28:55] world war one war war one essentially and i'm not going to get into it too far but essentially the rivalry between britain where the sun never sat on the british empire and the
[00:29:08] upstart nation of germany is really is really the genesis of world war one and why were we involved in that it's not the same as world war two that there was no totalitarian ideology running germany
[00:29:26] that's a lie that the keiser was related to the king of england they're all they're all related over there anyway i'm not gonna get into all that now but world war one never should
[00:29:37] have been involved in it we never should have and it affected europe that we got involved because we kept it going because that fresh infusion of dobo aces they called them allowed the war to
[00:29:52] continue until the allies one where they were basically exhausted after all this trench warfare between the allies and the uh and the uh german team is at the axis and we're one i think so
[00:30:05] anyway not good so then world war two different situation all the way around but a lot of lying going on with world war two and a lot of false promises we were supposed to be going to war
[00:30:23] and uh and i'm gonna talk about going to war now i don't mean after pearl harbor i'm talking about the initial moves roosevelt made to bolster britain including the lend lease program that we started with britain but all of this was supposed to protect the four freedoms freedom
[00:30:43] of speech and expression around the world freedom of worship around the world and then two that come right out of the marx's playbook freedom from want and freedom from fear that's those are
[00:31:01] the reasons we were in world war two folks beside the fact that uh when we got in ourselves fully we had been attacked by japan but i'm talking about before that time and with the when the
[00:31:12] focus was more on europe so world war two is a deep topic and not all as it seems practically none of it as it seems but the short form of it is that the us fought a war for the benefit of the
[00:31:29] communists at home and in europe and asia lend lease tremendous amounts of material that went over to the soviet union and continued well after they had the national socialist of germany on the run who had invaded russia but they just kept building and building and building the soviet
[00:31:57] union and gave them precursor materials for a nuclear weapon according to some highly placed people who were first-hand witnesses of that like major racy jordan up in montana another story i will talk to you about that one at another time but in every way the communists were
[00:32:18] advantaged and i talked about this on several other of my podcasts already but just look at the map not long after the end of world war two half of europe communist most of asia communist western
[00:32:33] europe on the ropes with communist and communists adjacent parties getting power all over western europe world war two not really fought for the benefit of the united states in the long game of it
[00:32:49] and there was korea which was the first fruits of a new policy called containment which i've talked about in several podcasts a limit which can containment was used to allow fabian socialists to allow leftists in our government to say they were anti-communist without really fighting the
[00:33:12] communists or discontent contained them so the first fruits of that terrible policy was korea where we told that we told the russians and the world that korea was outside of our security perimeter and right after that the north koreans backed by the russians backed by the chinese
[00:33:37] invaded invaded south korea they'd already were in north korea russia had just got the bomb and so the more leverage with that for sure douglas macArthur was sent over because we almost
[00:33:53] lost the entire korean peninsula to the communist he came in and drove them all the way up to uh almost to the border of china almost drove the communist right out of korea when wave after wave
[00:34:08] of chinese communist troops and we're talking millions here folks came across the yalu river and pushed us back into the south macArthur wanted to use tactical nuclear weapons and the forces of shangkai shek who are now in taiwan on the island of formosa at the you know
[00:34:31] this is after the end of world war two right after shangkai shek was pushed out of mainland china he wanted to use them to go across these straits there and attack china and also use
[00:34:44] a few tactical nukes keep those chinese from overrunning our troops in korea that's a winning strategy but not a containment strategy oh no russia's got the bomb but they're willing to
[00:35:00] bomb america over korea i don't think so and plus we know now mal mal would uh if we had it blown up three million i'm just throwing number out there three million chinese military troops
[00:35:15] with tactical nukes he would have happily just put three four more million up on those lines because he was using this to get rid of excess population folks there's a lot of literature there's a lot
[00:35:27] of literature on this now it's a fact so none of these things would have happened that the containment folks were worried about but we would have defeated the communists in korea rather than
[00:35:41] have the shameful and now just the first of many no win wars which shook our confidence as a nation i would argue greatly we had never lost a war folks america had never lost a war
[00:36:00] had never even considered the idea we could but we did not win that war and we were pushed all the way back down to the 38th parallel giving up a lot of territory that your ancestors fought
[00:36:15] and died for and whether they should have even been doing that another topic but all of this the bitter fruit of yalta commitments because we sent a ton of american material to the asian part of russia some of it used on us in the korean conflict
[00:36:38] the un had a central role in korea it was a un police action that's what it was called the troops had to put un on their helmets i mean some of the leaders did and whatnot
[00:36:50] terrible terrible situation we're going to more detail on that later we got nothing out of that folks nothing but grief debt damaged individuals death dead people dead fathers grandfathers that's what we got from korea and that's also what we got from vietnam we've talked at length about vietnam
[00:37:13] i have a whole podcast on that already but just another byproduct of the containment strategy well and in this case we were allowing as well as it's also true with korea we were stocking up our
[00:37:30] enemies folks our large corporations were propping up the war machine of the soviet union who was sending supplies unimpeded to high fong harbor to stock up the vietnamese in the war in vietnam while we're sending troops our sons and daughters to die over there
[00:37:55] vietnam was a big nation building operation south vietnam for the powers that be and anyway i have a whole i tell the whole story and another podcast what a tragedy and i would
[00:38:10] say a treasonous situation anyhow i think you know enough that vietnam got us nothing divided america further damaged our self-confidence as a nation created all kinds of havoc then there was iraq we have the 9 11 attack and what's our biggest response invading iraq
[00:38:36] what the hell did that have to do with it folks come on it's unbelievable but the powers that be had already had it gamed out to invade iraq bill clinton had signed a document that essentially said it
[00:38:49] was our policy to prepare to invade iraq another big nation building exercise waiting but bush promised no nation building getting back into the idea of lies that we had to live with and have to
[00:39:05] live with and i in my enthusiasm i didn't mention that linden johnson in 1964 before we really committed to vietnam in any large way promised we would not do so he promised folks he promised we would
[00:39:22] not do that and then he did he lied same thing with iraq bush lied too bush lied about both what happened in iraq and afghanistan because he promised no more nation building and he used the
[00:39:38] pretext of fighting freedom so in iraq there's not even a nexus to the terrorism that occurred in new york and in afghanistan we're supposed to be finding osama ben laden but i think most of
[00:39:52] you know this maybe not that you know time marches on a lot of young people here the whole focus on finding ben laden was totally lost in this afghanistan war it wasn't even a priority for them
[00:40:04] really and but nation building was a big priority and another disaster another disaster that cost us deaths injuries national guard commitments that some of them repeated national guard tours over there disrupted family life caused divorces caused all the problems that wars can't cause
[00:40:31] with no benefit to the united states of america folks lies we can live with these wars are certainly on the list so i've talked about the income tax the federal reserve social security medicare student loan program these are programs folks that still directly affect us just as taxpayers
[00:40:54] if not in other ways a kid who's 20 years old facing a hundred thousand dollar student loan debt this is just ridiculous you know a big scam put over the economy with the housing market and the
[00:41:11] derivatives market in 2007 and 2008 nobody goes to jail big lies folks big lies big lies that we have had to live with in every area of our lives i think you can see that just with the selection
