In fact, he believed that the United States would only be as strong as her families. I long ago came to the conclusion that Dad's belief in the importance of strong families for the stability of our republic was spot on. Today, our one time envy of the world nation is suffering the impact of over forty percent of children being born into one parent homes where fathers are not present. If this trend is not reversed very soon, our days as a great, powerful nation will be over. The Sololensky inspired leftists, along with their foreign friends like the Chinese, are celebrating this troubling trend that could help render our beloved nation unable to sustain herself or defend herself from enemies, both foreign or domestic.
