Ladies and gentlemen, It's the Ron Edwards American Experienced talk show where our unalienable rights are celebrated. And now your radio refreshment, Ron Edwards. Good day, Good day. How are you. I'm Ron Edwards. You are listening to the Run Edwards American Experience, and boy do we have a lot of stuff to cover today. Thanks for tuning in from throughout America and around the world. And you can join in today's conversation via the Run Edwards American Experience Hotline at nine eight five three eight eight I'm sorry nine eight five three three eight two eight nine one. Tell your friends, tell your family, all gather around. It is the Ron Edwards American Experience. And uh well, I've got to start things off with a deputy droop along alert. Yep, Mitch McConnell, he's still added. I mentioned this yesterday. Basically, Americans do not want rhinos leading the Senate. There is still alarming news coming out of the United States Senate. Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell has moved forward with the plan for a Wednesday vote on the leadership of the Senate since Republicans have recently retaken the majority. There are many concerns, however, about the proposed slate of leaders and the dubious legislative positions they have shared. Will a new Senate leader be pushed on the administration who doesn't uphold the values of the Trump administration or the conservative values voted overwhelmingly by the American people. Your prayers and actions are needed now. First, we must uphold the process and prayer. And second, if you have a GOP senator, please let them know of leader you hope will be voted in as majority leader. Message them today. The vote is tomorrow. And if you need a little assistance here I have it for you. For senators, you can call them at two zero two two two four three one two one a number again he is two zero two two two four three one two one. I urge you to take action, my fellow Americans, and make contact and make sure that we do not have Thune or the other guy Johnson as the majority leader. Because Mitch McConnell, he is a uh, he's worse than a rhino. The guy has done nothing more than try to undermine every single conservative administration. We haven't had many. We had Ronald Reagan, President Trump, the first administration of George W. Bush. Many of us thought he was a conservative. We were fooled. And that's about it, at least during my lifetime. And we do want the President Trump agenda implemented. And out of the three that are up for for grabs here up for Senate leadership, Rick Scott is the only one that is halfway decent. The other two are just totally totally no good. They might as well be Democrats. And there you have it. We've got a great guest today, Yep, mister Battle, Richard V. Battle. He has returned. He's going to be joining us in conversation about his great book. I got to read his book and it's fantastic and it talks about the great people that help make this country. And we're going to be talking about that today. And why put book together? I know why, but I want them to tell you about it because to me, it is so needed. Books like this are so needed and should be required reading. By the way, in government schools especially, many parents need to read these things. Too, so they can pass down the information to their children in the home. Because my opinion that you know, when it comes to learning about our country, etc. It should not only come from school. I was blessed with a dad who understood American history and was very very much into correct principles, and he taught me to weigh everything against righteous principles and if it doesn't match up with the righteous principles, then it should be rejected out of hand. And it applies to everything everything literally, I mean, for instance, economics. When they came in with Kanesian economics, all they had to do was apply it to righteous principles that were the original setup for economic system and they should have rejected Kanesian economics out of hand. And hopefully, with this new administration coming in, Kynesian economics will be put on the ash heap of history. So there you have it, my friends, there you have it. In other news, let's see here what's going on in Louisiana. Here's another case when people do the right thing and then you have opposition which goes against what is legally correct according not only to the law, but according to the will of the people. Louisiana, the people decided that they should put the Ten Commandments back in government schools. Everything was moving smoothly, right, but then you know, the leftist teachers' unions and others politicians, they kept going to courts and they finally founded. Judge too said, oh, it's unconstitutional to have the Ten Commandments in school, but in reality, that's a lie. That is a lie. Do you know America's first school book was the Bible? Do you don't know that America was at the very least partially founded upon Christian values which were in fact, the Bill of Rights is based upon the Ten Commandments literally literally, and it's tied together to so wonderfully with the Ten Commandments that when you are breaking one of the Bill of Rights, you're actually breaking the Ten Commandments. They tied the two together. And so for people to run around here, these black robes gone wild and to say, well, you know what, what helped make America, what helped make America great, the very principles, the Ten Commandments. It's now unconstitutional to allow children to see them inside of a school building. That is not only retarded, it is evil. And the people of Louisiana should be rising up in great numbers and saying hell no, and no to hell and say forget about it. We're gonna go ahead, screw you. And well, I'm looking at the picture right now of a fat and not so jolly, a fat, not so jolly femal worker who was had been ordering workers to skip Trump houses impacted by hurricanes in Florida. It's not isolated just a Florida. Happened in North Carolina too. FEMA workers were instructed to do it in the Carolinas as well. Yep. The FEMA official who was blown out of her job for ordering relief workers to skip over Trump houses says it was not an isolated incident. Marnie her name is Marnie Washington ordered her staff to avoid assisting homes with Trump flags in their yards following the aftermath of a recent hurricane in Florida. Marnie wanted them to suffer, suffer for their support for President Trump. Now this fat black female who decided who should get or who should not receive aid based upon their support or lack or lack of support for President Trump. Now, now correct me if I'm wrong? Isn't it always, especially these fat black ones that are always running around hollering about discrimination. I mean, someone tell me if I'm wrong. No one can tell me that I'm wrong. That's huge, that's per usual. Anyway, you're listening to the Run Edwards American Experience. I'll be right back after this. And before we get to our guests, a bit of good news, potential good news. That is. RFK JR. Robert F. Kennedy Junior declared war on the f d A f d A rather and he says he's going to be wiping it out for poisoning Americans. Yeah, they're supposed to be approving what's good for us, but they've done mostly for the pot. They've been just approving bad drugs one after another. And as a result, I mean, autism is very high amongst American students. Many people are overweight, many people have gotten cancers, all kinds of horrible things as a result of FDA approved drugs and chemicals in our foods, many things that are not even allowed at all in the food of nations around the world, like in Europe and Japan, South Korea, etc. Also child porn on some Mattel toys. Very interesting. Well, you've heard about the movie Wicket, which was developed off of the play that ran successfully in Playhouse Square and Times Square, and so we had the situation there, and so now they had some child porn. There was on some I guess Mattel toys that were I guess celebrating this wicked movie. And of course there was a big backlash. Thank goodness my parents, and the toys are being or have been removed from stores. But they said, oh the reason why it happened, it was because it was a misprint. Oh my gosh, what silly excuses we have or they have. Anyway, let's engage with our guest. His name is Richard V. Battel. He's written a great book. Yes, and if I say it's great, it is great Americans who made America eighteenth century, birth of this republic. Great stuff. Hello, mister Battle and welcome back, good afternoon. Thank you so much for having us back with you. Ron oh Man, thank you for putting this very good book together. Many of my favorite American heroes and a just about two or three that I wasn't aware of, like Mary Catherine Goddard. But every one of them, I mean, they've had such compelling stories. And I was always now I want to I want to ask you real quick. I always thought it was Christmas Attics who was the first one who died for American liberty. But you have the name, it's a different name. Let me find the page real quick. Be patient with me, folks. Yeah, Christopher's Snyder. Yes, And Chris Addicts was killed one of the five people that was killed at the Boston massacre. And Christopher Sader was a young boy of eleven Levenish who was killed a couple of weeks before that at a demonstration when the British official fired a warning shot but instead of firing it and the air fired it into the crowd and it struck him, and young Christopher was some could say the first fatality of the American Revolution. The five including Christmas Addicts at Boston massacre two weeks later, they're all buried in the same grave in Boston. As a matter of fact. Wow, But you know what's truly amazing when you read about all of these people. Yeah, one we all of us knew about John Paul Jones. We've only just begun to fight fame. But all of these patriots, they gave up so much. Those that did not give up their lives, I mean, they lost their fortunes, they lost family members, and they were just so cool. And the way you present them, the way you present them, are folks you would just love to meet. You know what I'm saying. You really humanize these great people like doctor John Witherspoon. Well, I appreciate, appreciate you saying that, and that's what I'm trying to do. And you mentioned John Paul Jones, and you and I and a lot of adults will know him or remember him, but a lot of the generation that's in school now, our generation Z, have no knowledge of him. And the whole reason I was inspired and this is the first of a four book series to write about these people, is I'm sick and tired of the government telling us what we could do and couldn't do, and people relying on the government. And I remembered back that what made our country successful was the American do spirit. And each of the four centuries that I am and am going to write about, there there's more candidates than I have the ability to write about them, And so I tried to pick people that I could illustrate from different walks of life known to us and unknown to us, who exhibited that can do spirit and gave of themselves, contributing to the country's prosperity on our behalf, even though they didn't know we would follow them, and we didn't know we would follow them. But they are such great examples. And my hope is to inspire people to pursue their own dreams and not wait for the government, and not let the government tell us what we can or can't do, but be independent and striving and contributing to the country's success. Absolutely. Now, Billy Lee, it's towards the end of the book of Billy Lee. Now, he was a young lad who is basically one of George Washington's slaves, and I think, as you illustrated in your book, the only one that he freed when upon his death. Now, many people might look at that and say, well, you know what, with all the blacks that were involved in the American Revolution, and some were actually on the battlefield, and out of all those revolutionary war heroes, Billy Lee is the only one that I think that was honored by George Washington, who happened to be a slave. And some people might say, man, this kind of shines a bad light in a way on the American founder. What say you, though, Well. There's no doubt that this slavery was a bad thing. But I want to look at the positive side. And the people that complain about our great country today only see the negative aspect of anyone. And the people that came before us were imperfect, just like we are. But Billy Lee was a terrific example of someone doing what Theodore Roosevelt later said, do what you can with what you have where you're at. And Billy Lee was a confidant of George Washington when you think about it, And the example I always think about is in the movie about George Patten, where his helper, his sergeant that helped him is very much similar to what I picture with Billy Lee. And when you're in command, you can't talk to people below you and express your feelings and get feedback and things of that nature. And so I see Billy Lee as the only person, maybe outside of Martha Washington, that George Washington could speak with and share his heart, and I see Billy Lee giving him feedback and terrific words of wisdom that would help Washington. And Washington was the goat of the American Revolution. Without his persistence in leadership, the revolution would have failed. And so that makes Billy Lee's input to him even more valuable. And so Washington freeing Billy Lee, letting him live at Mount Vernon. And actually he's the only one of the enslaved people that is buried at Mount Vernon that speaks volumes of the thoughts and the esteem that Washington had for Billy Lee. Absolutely, now one of my favorites also, Nathan Hale, and talk about now, this is one example that should be shared with prominently with the American youth of today. And the reason why I say that is because he gave it all for liberty, and he was to me one of the most brave of all of the revolutionary war heroes. You know, as the story proceeds, he gave it up. He said, well, you know what, I'll go on this particular mission knowing most likely I'll be caught or whatever. But he went in knowing the risk, and he took that risk and ended up giving his life. But I love the statement when he says, my only regret is that I only had one life to give. I mean talk about dedication, sir, what say you? Well, yes, absolutely, And I write this volume in the series as planned to be readable by people from middle school up, and so it's not written for academics. It's written for everyday people. And so Nathan Hale was only twenty one years old, so he didn't know anything about being a spy, but he had the courage to go try. And the bad thing about it was he was turned in by one of his relatives and suffered the consequences, which is one of the most horrible things about the whole thing. But he was a. Great example of leadership and courage in the American New Spirit. Amen, well, we're going to hold it right there, folks. You're listening to the Run Edwards American Experience, and we'll be back with our great guests, Richard the battle right after this, blowing away the myths and revealing the truth on the Ron Edwards American Experience. Under the Harris Biden regime, the United States has endured the greatest decline of a four year time span in its entire history. Rampant immorality opened the door to a myriad of destructive policies, ranging from being put in extreme danger via Biden's open border policies, giving away eighty six billion dollars of military hardware to terrorists in Afghanistan, poking the Russian bear by wastefully giving Ukraine our much needed military equipment and money. We don't have this, ballooning the national spending deficit, world class cities like Chicago, San Francisco, New York City, and San Diego being ruined on purpose, while leftist governors sold American farmland to China. Kamala Harris centered the overwhelming majority of her campaign on abortion, abortion, abortion. Thank goodness, most Americans sit in no way jose to Kamala and our mission to doom our republic. Americans who made America eighteenth century Birth of the Republic written by Richard V. Battle. Folks, you're listening to the Rondovers American Experience and Richard V. Battle is in conversation with us today and we are completing our discussion with him about his wonderful book. And thanks again Richard for writing such a great book. Now, there's only one character in your book, one out of all of them, that I have never been very crazy about, and that is Alexander Hamilton. We used to joke, we say that he was America's first statist because he advocated for a strong central government, something that most of the other founding father said no against. And history has proven that the other founding fathers were correct. But you did include me in this book. And yeah, even he seemed to be a really great guy, if by your description. But what say you? Well? And I think the important thing is is that all the people I illustrated had positive contributions were they perfect all the time? No, But we have to remember he helped our financial system, He founded the New York Post newspaper. He contributed to the Revolutionary War, So there were things he did that were positive. But yes, I agree, I'm not as fond of him warning a stronger central government as much as he wanted either. But I have to look at the positive aspects and that's why I put him in there, and the illustration that none of us are perfect. We're all imperfect. The first objective of the Constitution is to form a more perfect union. The founders recognize that it's a journey, not a destination, and so that's why I think it's so important. What can we learn from different people that can help us today. And one of my favorites Samuel Adams, a man who I guess externally if you looked at him in comparison to some of the other Founding fathers, who came from a higher standard of living, as it were, wealth and things of that nature. Nonetheless, despite his more humble lifestyle, he was one of the greats. Samuel Adams. I love hear what he said. The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending against all hazards, and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. Amen, Amen, and amen, and I thank you that you did include him. He's always been one of my favorites. And one thing I liked about him or like about him is, like John Adams, he's very outspoken and fiery, and sometimes others bristled against that, but he's one of those that was proven to be correct ninety nine point nine percent of the time. And another great American hero. What say you, well, you're correct, and he's was called the architect of the American Revolution, and we don't hear about him as much, but he was the mentor, if you will, for a lot of the greats that we do remember and that became presidents. And you read the one quote, and in this vault I have two hundred and forty five quotations because that portion of this work. I wanted the people I profiled to speak in their own works, not just what I analyzed and put out about them. But this allows the reader to look at them and their own words. And they were so brilliant, and it took the team of them. And it's no different than a football team or a business it took different people with different personalities and different God given gifts coming together and very importantly putting aside self interest. And I think that's one of the most fascinating things about the Declaration, the Revolutionary War, and the Constitution. These people put aside their selfish interest for the greater good of the objectives of the Declaration, the Revolution, and the Constitution. And we find that once they were done that we reverted back to a lot of them pushed their own self interests versus the greater interest of the country. And so to me, that helps me believe that it was God inspired and brought together that those imp perfect humans were allowed to do that and establish this great country. Yeah, and I truly believe that it was God inspired because, as I mentioned in my monologue, how the founding fathers ingeniously they tied together the Bill of Rights with principally with the Ten Commandments, and you couldn't break one without breaking the other, and which they thought would be an encouragement for Americans to remain a Christian oriented nation, because they wanted to keep the blessings that were coming forth as a result of tying the Word of God or the Principles of God into the foundation of this great country. And I love Patrick Henry quotes you have at the end of his segment one, in particular, the Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people. It is an instrument for the people to restrain the government less to come to dominate our lives and interests. Seems like he he saw the future and saw our times, and it seems that the government has basically tried to toss the Constitution out on its heels and dominate we the people and switch it around. I've always joked and said that the Constitution was meant to corral government, but during the bastardized rights movement commonly known as the Civil Rights movement, they reversed it. When people ran around saying, oh, well, it's about constitutional rights, they said okay, Lyndon Johnson said okay, And they actually flipped the script and they used the Constitution basically to restrain the people. And since actually started me for LBJ. But it really took off the unrestrained growth of government into what it is today. What say you, Well, you're correct, and we remember the founders were not only brilliant and they approached the Declaration and the Constitution from a logical standpoint, not emotionally like the French Revolution. But they studied previous civilizations, they studied what worked, what didn't, and they took the best of those and put together, and even uniquely with the Connecticut Compromise, they came up with the electoral College, which was such a unique thing. And here's the other thing. They understood human nature, and they understood human nature was constant. It did not evolve, as the liberal position is today. And so if it doesn't evolve, that means the Bible, the Declaration, the Constitution, and all the wisdom of our previous ages are still there for us to learn from. And if you believe that the human nature evolves, that means history is not as important. And I hope that we're going to go back to a time now where we revere the wisdom of the ages and learn from it, like the founders put out in front of us. And yes, you're correct, our government has been trying to take rights from us. And as I tell people, the government never does anything for you till they do something to you. And they never give one person something without taking it from someone else. And so our founders were so brilliant, and the more we follow them, we will retain the rights of self governance which they gave us. Yeah, so great. Before we come to the end of our conversation, why did you tell folks where they can find your great book? Well, I appreciate that. Richard V. Battle. At Amazon, we have all eleven of our works, including the latest Americans Who made America eighteenth century Birth of the Republic. It's also available in Kendall and audio if you go to Richard Battle dot com. All books are signed, and if you'd like them for gifts, which this book's been very popular for gifts for young people, if you'll email me Richard at Richard Battle dot com with an inscription request after an order, we're happy to do that as well. And the holidays are coming. Thank you so much. You know, we talked a lot about the great men that founded this nation, but you wisely included women who are also a part of the beginning of this wonderful nation. One of them, Mary Katherine Goddard, tell us a bit about her. Well, I love that story and I was unaware of it until I researched this volume. And she was. Born in Baltimore, her mother thankfully gave her an education because schools girls weren't sent to school very often at that age. Her dad was a printer with her brother, so she went into helping the printing business. Her dad died and her brother left the business to her, and she operated the printing business, became the first postmistress in Baltimore, and when they printed the first copy of the Declaration of Independence in January seventeen seventy seven with the signatures, Historically she would put on documents printed by M. K. Goddard, but when she printed that document now called the Goddard Broadside, she put on that document printed by Mary Catherine Goddard. So she's the only woman to in effect sign the Declaration of Independence. And it took a great deal of courage because as soon as her name was on that document, she had a death warrant on her, just like all the other founders. And the courage to do that when it wasn't necessary to me is such an admirable quality. That's a great illustration for women and men of the American do spirit. And one last individual that you included in your book. His name is James Forton, and tell us a bit about him as well. Well, he's another one that's a great individual story because here he was a black man, or he's born as young black boy, and he went to sea, he was captured and was imprisoned in England. He came back to Philadelphia and got in the business of making sales, built his business up, became a great philanthropist to all races, and a great example of leadership, and that American do spirit was a successful American and I think he's worth celebrating. Amen to that. Well, your book, sir, is worth celebrating, and many other great individuals that are in here, Paul Revere and so many others. And folks, I suggest you take the time to get this book and you will enjoy it and your children will enjoy it as well. And I think, like I said, this book should be required reading. It should be included in school curricula, especially in the elementary and middle school levels, because we need to get this kind of information into the younger children so it's inculcated into their mindset. And Richard, I thank you for the work you put in to write such a great book, and it's a great service. I consider such great information of service to this Republic because it's through truth that we the people can maintain are great Republican through learning about its great history. And again, I thank you so much well. I appreciate your words of encouragement to me. Encouragement is fuel which will continue our efforts to try to follow this up with three more. Volumes and we look forward to it. That's my pleasure to be with you again. God bless America. God bless you, sir. Take care and folks will be right back. This is a roundevers American experience. Heads up, mister president, there are saboteurs all around you. And this column I'm going to share some of it with you by Kalaie Kalay Nelson and it just came out today and she warns be extra careful in the work environment with those who like to maintain their position through charm in being political rather than getting things done. They are very prone to envying and hating those who work hard to get results. They will slander and sabotage you without any warning. A false friend is more dangerous than an open enemy. Francis Bacon, a British philosopher, wrote that one but we all know that Trump's victory is the second in American history where a president skipped a term and was then re elected. The first ever was Grover Cleveland from eighteen eighty five and eighteen ninety three. Now let's put it over with Grover. Was the rallying cry with four years of Benjamin Harrison. We won the first battle in the War for liberty. But don't go back to sleep thinking all is well, my friends. The first stone was thrown and it took down one communist giant, but there are thousands of them who wished to rule over the ashes of our nation. Many of them are domestic. In fact, the majority of them are domestic. So thus we must stay vigilant. Between now and January twentieth, twenty twenty five, our newly elected president faces extreme danger. There have been three assassination attempts on his life already. We know the Stalinist Party and their followers are seething with rage over Trump's triumph. General Michael T. Flynn told Steve benn And not long ago that he wants Trump to stay in mar Lago until inauguration and not venture into Washington, d C. He also wants him to hire his own security people. And that's something I've been saying privately to folks who had listened, that Trump meets his own people. In fact, Trump had a great security force when he first got into office, and that guy who ran his security, I forget his name. He was very well known, and he should try to get that guy back. It is not just the left who has promoted hatred and vengeance against President Trump. There are plenty of neocon trotskylites on the right who detest Trump's love of America and her people. Now, if you just listened to the vitriol of Rhino Romney, as Francis Bacon stated, a false friend is more dangerous than an open enemy. On November fifth, we saw a sea of red across America. But never forget the cheating continued in both the congressional and presidential races. It is because of the massive turnout that of we the people, that the cheating was not able to defeat us. The American people had had enough. They rose up and ran to the polls. But election frauds still occurred. How many Republicans were winning then mail in ballots appeared nowhere for the opposition. Proof of citizenship, proof of residency must be demanded across our republic. For everyone to vote. Mail in ballots other than for military or incapacitated must be eliminated. Addresses must be validated at registration. All votes have to be in by the day of voting. And that's the way it should be. Now, what's been frustrating to many of us the most was hearing newscasters and leftist spokespersons say in twenty twenty, Biden won twenty thousand more votes than Kamala in such and such county. The problem with this statement is that American patriots know in their hearts that the twenty twenty election was stolen from President Trump. As head of the transition team of twenty sixteen, Vice President Mike Pence bought in far too many Trump derangement syndrome Republicans because he himself, though he proclaimed the Word of God and our Constitution, Mike Pince was no more interested in continuing America's march back towards a true constitutional, limited republic. He was no more interested than your average Democrat. That's why he was able to turn on Trump the way he did, and that's what also prompted Lizer Cheney to do what she did and many others. So you have the World Economic Form still to deal with. You have the WHO, World Health Organization, you have the United Nations. You have all kinds of situations in this country. And by the way, the World Economic Form should be shown the way out of our country with the United Nations leading them out of this country. The United States of America is so well endowed in wealth and supplies that she has no need of the United Nations. She has no need of the World Economic Forum or the World Health Organization. There is no need of any of these entities in our republic. We have enough of everything that we could literally tell the entire world to leave us alone, and we could trade amongst ourselves, amongst our independent states, and still remain the world's wealthiest country. Let us not forget that in the nineteen fifties, any one of our top industrial states could be, by themselves one of the five wealthiest nations in the world, and many of our states are that way today. California is the fifth largest economy in the world by itself. Ohio by itself is a top twelve economy, Michigan by itself is a top fifteen economy. And it goes on and on and on. If we were to bring back our industries right the Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, et cetera, Birmingham, Alabama, which used to be the steel center of the South, and we trade amongst ourselves. We're a huge population, and we build up our wealth through trading with one another. Within a gold monetary system or silver based at least, we have all the necessary minerals, everything we need. I think there's only one we don't have a lot of it might be box sided. I think a main ingredient for aluminum. But who needs aluminum anyway? Aluminum is horrible to be used. It causes Alzheimer's and everything anyway. So enough of that madness. We have to take technology within our shores to create automobiles that run on water indefinitely. We have it all here in America. God bless this nation, and so we do not need to cripple ourselves with vain philosophies from around the world that do nothing but putrefy the quality of life of people. We must stand fast, my fellow Americans, as we set about the re establishment of greatness in our republic. And how do we do that? Continue to depend on God, our creator, and stand up for the rule of law, beginning with our Bill of Rights our constitution, and everything stems from that. From those two specific approaches, depending on God and the rule of law, which stems from our Bill of rights in constitution, we do that. We're going to be We're going to have big smiles on our faces in just a few months. In short order. Well, now that I see that my time is up, thank you so much for your time. You would would that's all folks. Tax a stage right. And as I always say at this time, remember my friends, to pray for your nation, pray for your family, pray for your friends, and even pray for your enemies that they get it right before it's to me. And to treat others the same way you want to be treated. I'm run edwards until next time. By now. To change order, change your should, make the new connection to everyone. Leslie the way the way to ride to day. Everyone love. Because I don't love one another. Transtphone another you do. Don't one another? Now say I mom, don't you won't on one another? Don't Tom and one another? You're bold, don't go another no
