Today's guest Denise Edwards. She's going to be stopping by. She's heads up the Zicharia two to five prayer group, and she also does a wonderful weekly presentation on Rumble and you're going to check that out. We're going to talk more about that when she makes her appearance. But you know something that many people in our nation may not be aware of, but religious freedom has been restored in our republic. Now, you probably didn't hear much about it, because religious freedom in the United States of America has largely been restored. Neither preachers nor the pundits seem to have noticed very much or noted the good news. However, in the November twenty fifth, twenty twenty five issues of the newsletter Eagle Forum Report and Schlaffey, She's the daughter of the late conservative icon Philish Laffey, provided all of the details on this return to judicial sanity. Now, the story begins if you go back to nineteen seventy one, when under President Nixon. He didn't push for this, but others did. The Supreme Court of the United States put one over on us big time, ruling unanimously in Lemon versus Kurtzman that public moneys could not be used in schools run by religious institutions. Remember this is the same high Court that two years later ruled that abortion on demand throughout all nine months of pregnancy for any or no reason, was a constitutional right. However, the ruling not only stopped federal moneys going to schools run by religious institutions, but it also had the effect of stopping prayer or any other so called re religious expression, especially of the Christian variety, in government schools, such as expressions being interpreted as contrary to the separation of church and state, which the founding fathers did not call for. Now, the three prong lemit tests of this limit of a decision stipulated that any action must one have a secular, non religious purpose. Its primary effect must not advance or inhibit Christianity. It must not create excessive entanglement between the government and Christianity. Americans and our nation have reaped the whirlwind of this removal of God from government schools, in fact, the public square as a whole, leaving us to go on for the next fifty years worshiping quite another God, a little g God, and that is the state now jettison. Up to twenty twenty two, the Supreme Court overturned the Lemen test from Leomen versus Kirtchman and the Kennedy versus of Bremerton School District decision, which ruled that religious freedoms had been unconstitutionally restricted by the former, finding that prayer and other Christian oriented actions can now be practiced in government schools. However, most Americans still believe their freedom to worship is exceptionally limited in public places. Now. Kelly Shacklaffort of First Liberty, the plaintiff of the Kennedy case, stated that the concept of the separation of church and state is not a phrase found in our constitution, and that is correct. The Leomen decision was a total change in the time tested values of our republic. Nature abhors the vacuum, so when God was removed from the public square, a very different morality rushed in to fill the void. There can well be some question as to whether this change of heart regarding open displays of religious expression might not have been promoted or at least bolstered by the increasing number of Muslims in the United States of America. Of faith that has its political and economic power increasing more and more as efforts is made to accommodate the tenets of this religion, and it is my opinion, rather than complaining about the Islamic way or whatever, Christians must bring forth more boldly their recognition of God and reaccommodate their place or our places Christians in the public square as well as in government schools. The First Amendment establish the five individual freedoms or liberties, the first being is religion or religious belief and expression. Americans have never been cowardly or embarrassed by their religious affiliation, and indeed a firm religious or Christian faith was considered necessary in any person seeking, especially political power. Remember John F. Kennedy was our nation's first Catholic president. It is interesting to know that from the very beginning of this republic, even as we were still colonies under Great Britain, God was central to the lives of everyone in the colonies. It was Washington, our first president, who established the concept of a chosen day of thanksgiving for our blessings as a nation, and therefore Americans should be neither cowardly nor embarrassed over public displays of faith. Yet as we moved through the twenty and on into the twenty first century, in the name of tolerance, Americans have allowed faith in God to be acceptable, even permitted only inside a building erected for that specific purpose, a church or a temple. Public displays of religious expression have been seen as exclusionary and intolerant of the faith of others. Yet others of other faiths and political persuasions have often been non or intolerant or untolerant of Christians. Yet for a national preservation, Americans must be willing to both personally display and teach our faith to our children, and so on and so on. Some of the multitude of religious rulings affected under the Kennedy case include many of the following. A public school district cannot be hostile towards religious beliefs, including the Christian faith. Students can speak about their faith through their teachers, though their teachers must remain neutral. That is, members of the district cannot express or promote their own religious beliefs among the student body, but they must not be allowed to prohibit the students from expressing their Christian faith. Schools cannot treat religious activities differently than other non classroom activities. Students can pray during lunch, recess or other designated free time. Students can read the Bible or at school. Students can share their faith with fellow students. Schools can acknowledge religion when teaching various subjects. Nowhere is as more relevant than in the early history of the founding of this republic, as most columnies were actually founded as a result of religious persecution in Great Britain and throughout Europe. That is why I say that Christians today, we the people of God, must be willing to publicly display our faith, not be afraid to bring it up when it's appropriate, and when people want to inhibit our right of expression, we must not cowtow. We must not be become afraid we must push forward. Students can pray either individually or as a group in schools, at competitions, students assemblies, or other extracurricular activities when school officials are not involved. Students can pray a graduation ceremonies or include religious content in their speeches. There have there have been many cases in recent years where students have been prohibited by that. But that is because even though the Supreme Court made this ruling in twenty twenty two. You know, there's an old saying about ignorance. If you don't know, and you don't know that, you don't know, bad things can happen. And while it's against the law to prohibit Christian activity, many people haven't been knowing this, and the other side has been allowed to push Christianity out of the public square, much to the ignorance of most Christians. Good Thank you for such a generous introduction. I hope I can live up to all that, but thank you so much. I appreciate it. Just to say you do on a regular basis. You know, before the break, I was talking about how we do have the restoration of religious freedom in our republic. And the thing that I was going to mention right as we were heading towards the break, that students can pray at their graduation ceremonies and include religious content in their speeches, and they can also schools can refer to Christmas again and have a Christmas party if the intent is not specifically to designate or promote any particular religious denomination. And yes, a government school can display Christmas decorations such as Aavity Nativity scene. And I think that's great, Denise, because I've spoken to you about this in years past. I really disdain when you have these Christmas displays in cities and they call it Winterfest and most of the lights are like white and blue instead of the normal fest of Christmas colors and all of that, and it's voice of any Nativity and even wipe out Santa Claus. It's just these bland Winterfest lights, and it takes away the joy of the season in my humble opinion. And you know, it's like, what's the point, what say you? Yes, Well, they have been sanitizing a lot of things for quite a while, and the only thing they try to cleanse the public square of is anything that might remotely connect you to Christ. Those of us who have been taught properly understand the pagan ritual of Christmas and where it originated from. But we also know the value of taking this time of the year since many people don't necessarily understand what is connected to it and still have a chance to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. So they want to do it. You know, you winterfest, holiday fest, you know, happy holidays. That seems to be the only thing they say now and again. Is it to sanitize the thought of Jesus Christ out of the public square? Yeah? When if I go to the store whatever, someone tells me happy holidays, I say which ones? Which one do you talk about? You know? And that irritates them. The more liberal they are, the more irritated they get when you say, when you shoot back real quick, well, which ones? Tell me which on longd are you talking about? Do you want me to be happy about? So? Yeah, but I like the fact that all of this, I mean, you should see all these things that this ruling has stated that the Ten Commandments can be displayed making a joyful noise. Christian music can be can be played by Christian or secular bands in schools or parks. I mean, they really get very detailed about reasserting Christianity back into society, not forcing it on anyone, but it touches on so many aspects of the public expression of Christianity or faith in Christ that I find it very irritating knowing that in many cases, very recently, even this year, there have been cases where people have been attacked for their Christianity, or displays have been taken down in schools and things of that nature. And it's because people don't know, and they don't know that they don't know, and in some cases they do know, but they're being bullied. And this is where I think you'll agree with me. We have to stand up and push back, because if you don't stand up to the bullies, they're just going to continue and they'll be bullying. If you don't stand up in one spot, they will bully you everywhere. And I know some Christians believe we should cowtow, and you know, they consider cow towing is in a form of being loving and nice and all of that. But was Jesus always so nice? I mean, what about when he whipped the people out of the marketplace, and when he called people certain names, and he wasn't always just this mealy mouse individual, and. He was never merely mouse. Yeah, he always confronted sin, which is why when the scripture tells us that he went about healing the sick, raising the dead, opening the blind eye, what people failed to understand. He didn't do it from a sense of compassion, not to say the compassion wasn't an element, but he did it from a sense of righteous indignation of looking the same way you would view a trespasser. He knew that the Father created us to be healthy, to be blessed, to be prosperous, and so when he saw people living outside of their of their original intent, it was offensive to him. People don't understand an think we only subscribe God being offended by the sins that are committed, you know, one to another, or the sitting in a fortication you commit against yourself. But there's other forms of sin that are just as offensive, and that is being bound by sickness. Not that I'm here to condemn someone who is sick, but the point of it is, sickness is an offense to the Father. In the sense that. It was never part of the original blueprint, and that's why sickness would have to go when Jesus showed up. And we need to be righteously indignant when they try to restrict us and our ability to manifest the love of Christ and the truth of Christ. I'm really excited about this gentleman who's running for governor, Anthony Hudson, who's leading a group of people through Dearborn this coming Tuesday, and I am praying that their footprint and their breathprint will change the atmosphere in that city and that those people will get the revelation of Jesus Christ. Yeah, because they certainly needed. And this is the kind of stuff that needs to occur on a more regular basis, that we need to show up and make people, you know, remind people that we are blessed with the same rights that they have. And this nation was founded on Christian principles and it is because Christians have always allowed themselves to be pushed to the back of the bus that in many places like der Bordistan in Plano, Texas, or wherever they've taken the front of the bus, they've taken the wheel. In places like New York City, and that's because Christians have sat, you know, sat back and allowed others to walk over them and prayerfully, as we continue to get the word out on these recognized rights, more Christians will be encouraged and emboldened to not be publicly ashamed, not be publicly afraid, because look, there's there's risk in everything, and there's always a struggle between good and evil, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, and just you know, life is like that, and we might as well be struggling in the right battles. What say you? I agree? And and I think not only struggling in the or participating in the right battles, I think we need to increase our our capacity to influence. And the most recent example I can give you is I was looking at some local news this morning and it was talking about the transition team for h for newly elected Mayor Mary Sheffield, and her civil rights team are going to be composed of reverend you know, I'm a big not a fan of saying reverend uh Wendel Anthony and yeah, and an Arab American from Dearborn. Those are going to be the two. That head up her civil rights mechanism for the city of Detroit, and I thought, oh lord, you know these players. There's so many things that could be said. About that arrangement. And I'm like, where is the voice of truth? These are the people. That are going to be flagging civil rights issues for the city. And I you know, I'm looking at the two that are the two that are heading it up, and I tell you it's gonna I can tell you which direction they're going to swing. If he's gonna be racism or Islamophobia. You know, it's funny because Swinda Anthony, he's supposed to be representing you know, he's supposed to be a Christian leader, that's what he calls himself, believe it or not. But the e mom or the Muslim, he's going to be operating as an authentic Muslim? Where is this so called Christian is a joke? And I noticed in liberal circles like that they never bring in authentic Christians. And that's another area we need to work our way up up the ladder. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection says the fire had grown to about five point three square miles by Thursday night. It also said the fire had been whipped up by strong gusts of wind that reached as strong as fifty miles per hour. When he gave the Jewish people the land of Israel, it had borders, and sometimes he allowed Israel's voter borders to be invaded because for judgment reasons. But nevertheless, it's about borders when it comes to countries, because without borders, you don't have a nation. Now, I was reading yesterday about a huge number of American bishops of the Catholic variety who you are in league with Pope Leo and taking President Trump and others who think as he does concerning our border to task, saying that it's ungodly to be so strident against those who have come into our nation illegally. Now, the United States of America has about forty two to fifty million illegal border crossers chunked into our republic, draining US dry or attempting to anyway wreaking havoc in our streets. And you just heard about over on the news there about Charlotte, North Carolina that's cleaning its streets of illegal border crosses that are causing an uptic of crime in that very beautiful city. By the way. Now, I just want to get your take on this issue because I think Christians need to understand because there's a lot of Christians as well as a lot of Catholics that have this, I don't know, this ridiculous view you on borders. And they accused of being mean because we think, you know, we agree with the arresting and going after these people and breaking up They say we're breaking up families. Well, I'm sorry, they can all go out together. What say you you know what, I find a complete hypocrisy. I find aught to be blatant liars because everyone knows that Rome in itself is its own city. The Vatican has its own security, The Vatican has its own walled system that they use to protect them. And not only that, but let's just take it down to brass tactics. Let's try to do that in anybody's home. What happens with a home invasion, if it's a two A house, they get greeted with an alarming greeting. If you know what I'm saying, If they decide to do a home invasion, and I don't take these people seriously when they do this, I think it's all a charade. I think it's just a design to destroy America because they don't want us to be successful, because they know they would never put up with that in their own personal home. Absolutely. And in fact, to prove your case, if you remember when Ali Obama was in office, when they know maybe he was out of office, but remember when they I guess they took about fifty to fifty five illegal border crossers to Martha's Vineyard, and those those those high and mighty individuals were who have been pulling for oh, we've got to allow the men you're bigot at this, that and the other for being against them. Well, when they were introduced into their very neighborhoods, guess what happened. They raised their voices and those illegals were kicked out of there. But yet they frowned on the rest of us for saying, wait a minute, we don't want this madness either. So, yeah, you're right, it's it's it's blatant hypocrisy. And uh, you've got this judge in Chicago. He says, you know what, We're going to give fifteen hundred dollars bail to the six hundred or so illegal border crossers that have been arrested. And Judge Cummings he ruled yesterday that I'm sorry the day before yesterday and this is crazy and so but guess what. This is what I like and I know you'll love this too. He says, Um, let me go back here. This is Baveno, that the Gregory Bavino. He says that the patrol agents and other officers risk their lives to apprehend the six hundred and fifty illegal border crossers in the Greater Chicago Land area and He issued a warning to the liberal or leftist judge that if the judge releases the illegals, Bavino vowed to go into overdrive and arrest many more or illegal boat acrossers. He says, I'll tell you what's gonna happen. We're gonna go even harder on the streets. And if he releases those six hundred and fifty, we're gonna apprehend at least one thousand, six hundred and fifty on the streets of Chicago, he says. And you you want to play games, we'll play seriously with you. And I'm glad. See this is kind of things that we need to see a lot more of. And yeah, pushback, there has to be pushed back. They have to take us seriously. And I don't think. I think because the church has played roly poly and a lot of people just were going along to get along. Now they're just being strung along. And they really. Now they really need to understand what is occurring. Yeah, So, and our prayers go out for you. You know, I really admired the fact that you prayed for John Fetterman, the senator who you know, he fails his heart defibrillator later went off and ended up smashing his face and he's in hospital. And when you look at the facts around his situation, he was one of the few Democrats that took a decent stand when it came to the issues of the day. And oh, my gosh, and just I want you to talk about this because you said it so eloquently today on your prayer call, about how the leftists went after him and they actually cursed him and wished him death. Yes, I saw him in a CNN interview. And for those of you who do not who are listening, and maybe you don't, you've never thought heavily about the power of words. But the scripture self us is the power of life and death are in the tongue. And he said very clearly, he said, yes, the Republicans says some nasty things to him, but he said, the people on the left in his party have actually said, I'm sorry that you didn't have another stroke, I'm sorry that your defibrillator didn't work, I'm sorry that the depression didn't return, that it lifted people saying they actually wish he had would die. And these are word curses. This is witchcraft. You're standing in the stead of God. God is the only one that can determine the expression day on any human being. And when you stand there in your and your arrogance and you wish death upon someone that is demonic, that is an evil intent. And the fact that he is still a part of the Democratic Party is another question for another conversation, But I certainly I hope it opens his understanding that he is not amongst friends, he is not amongst people who want the best for him, and that makes it very challenging to show up and go to work every day when the people surrounding you are are literally wishing for your demise. Yeah, because these leftists that are wishing for his demise are working for the demise of the United States of America. And because even though he's a Liberal Democrat, he does not hate the country and does not wish it to go the way of the Dodo bird. I'm Ron Edwards my special guest today, Denise Edwards and Denise. You know, here's some good news. A study, a FED study vindicates the Trump trade policy. They finally took the time to look at one hundred and fifty years of evidence showing tariff's lower inflation and are actually good for the economy, something that I've been saying at nauseum, and I have been saying that all people have to do is go back to Monroe, to the Monroe presidency and also McKinley, and look what a blessing the tariffs have been throughout history. In fact, the terrification story has been upside down. And so now the truth is getting out in the establishment, in the Federal Reserve system, another situation that should be dissolved in my humble opinion. But at least in this instance, they're finally recognizing the truth. What say you, Well, that's certainly. I pray that that information reaches the Scotus, as they prayerfully made the right decision regarding tears, and so father from that information to the ears and the minds of the Supreme Court, and I hope and pray that they will utilize this information. I hope that the administration loads up with these new findings as another reason why they need to vote correctly on the tiars and news. Yeah, terrafs are such a blessing. I mean that it is what ushered in the Golden Age. And give you an example of the Golden Age. Now, if you go to downtown Detroit, there's a building called the Guardian Building, and it's one of the most beautiful buildings in the entire Midwest. And you go inside, it's very colorful, it's extremely beautiful. It was built in the nineteen twenties. And you'll find buildings like that in Cleveland, New York elsewhere, these great buildings during that Gilded Age of great wealth and the opulence and just the beauty, and the Fox Theater and Playhouse Square, those great massive movie houses and things like that, and the great mansions of places like Gross Point or shaken Shaker Heights and things of that nature. So we thank God for that, and we do pray that these terrorists will be allowed to be continued. As you said, something that's very heavy on your heart and my heart as well. It's been going on in Africa for quite a while and the persecution of Christians and many many people have been murdered. Of course at the hands of the Muslims. It's it amazing, Denise, how the Muslims always end up with who's giving them all these guns. Yet at the same time, the Christians over there, they don't have anything but sticks and a few stones here and there, and that I think needs to be rectified right away. That's one thing we can do. Give them something to fight back with like they did the Nation of Chad years ago. But go ahead, I want you to talk about this. Well. Unfortunately President Trump has put that on his priority list, and we pray that that does not drop in the coming weeks and months, that he will and if necessary, you know, do what he needs to do, just like you know, Operation Ocean Spear or whatever the proper name is for the what they're doing with the drug boats. They need to do what is necessary to stop the slaughter. And one of the burdens that we have that we want to pray is before we get off this beautiful show, is for the widows. This slaughter has left an entire community of widowed women and children without fathers because so many of the peer of the fathers. Are the ones that the Muslims are slaughtering. And I was. Listening to one video and the woman was saying, you know, she watched as her husband refused to deny Christ. They kept you know, they're holding guns to your hair, the machetes to your head, and they're saying, deny Christ. And all these are women whose husbands refuse. To deny Christ. But they watched them. One husband his eyes were gouged out and then they shot him because he refused, and others were shot and when they didn't die fast enough, they were shot in the head. And they would have these women and their children as an audience. I mean, that just shows the vileness of. These of these Muslims over there. This Islamic. Evil that they are perpetrating. And they make these children, they traumatize them even the more by making them participate as viewers of them, and it intimidates them. And so now you have an entire community of women over there with no husband and the children have no fathers, and they're trying to you know, now they have to be taken care of. And that is just an evil that we need to immediately do everything we can to stop. Yeah, And I think it partially is energized by the fact that many of your great communicators around the world like Tucker Carlson and others. Candis olans, these big people. They talk about the atrocities of Israel, but they ignore the real atrocities of the Islamist And I've always been confused as to why that is. But you know, I don't have enough time to get into that. But I want you to take the time, all the time you need right now to to pray about the situation, because you know they really need God's help right now. Father, is the name of you, Sea Michell. We just lift up the widows throughout the continent of Africa, in Nigeria and Somaya and various portions throughout the whole world, Father God, where they have been slaughtered mercilessly. Where men who have gone on to glory to receive the martyrs crown, Father God, but have left in this life, in this time, families without ahead, have left, people in poverty, have left, people without homes, their villages burned, their churches burned, their schools burned, and they have had to endure horrific atrocities. And Fathers, these are people who refuse to deny You. And so Father, we are crying out even the more for these are martyrs and the families of martyrs. And Lord, you knew from the beginning of time, those that would not deny you. You knew those that would hold fast, that would remain steadfast in their faith, in their conviction, in their love. And so Father, it is incumbent upon you to respond, and respond swiftly and righteously. We are requiring you to move in behalf of these women around that continent who find themselves in this situation, who did nothing wrong. They stood by their husband, and they stood on faith, they declared Christ, and they literally, in many instances, lost their lives, their heads, their eyes, all for the sole purpose of not bowing to the sword of is life. And so Father, we need you to move mightily. We need you to set things up in order so that these people can be aided and assisted, that their lives can continue as best as as possible. We pray for the healing of their souls, because the added trauma of watching your husband murdered and watching your father murdered in front of you. When little boy said, what did he do? He is often happens children. They internalize it, and he's trying to figure out what did he do to deserve having his father taken from him, and he did nothing. He did nothing. He was too young to understand that his father was an actual hero and actual martyr. He's just left with the feeling of I must have done something wrong. And so Father, we pray for the healing of the children and the women. We pray that they have favor with the families over there, that they will be taken in and not less destitute to sleep on the roads and the byways, but that the families over there that are so alive will take them in. And we just give you thanks and praise Father God, that you're gonna hear in heaven and you're gonna respond, and we're gonna start getting reports of situations turning around for the favor of Christ upon these people in Jesus name. Amen, Thank you so much, Denise and uh yep, and folks, as always, at this time, I urge you to continue to pray for your nation, Pray for your family, your friends, and even your enemies, that they get it right before it's too late.
