Hi, I'm Pete Cunning, Blackness is White and radio miniseries. You're listeners, m American Experience here, I love the station. Program loaded and ready, prepare for launch and three two one and away we go. See em, see see see you see. Ladies and gentlemen. It's the Ron Edwards American Experienced talk show where our unalienable rights are celebrated. And now your radio refreshment. Ron Edwards. Good day, good day, Hello, and how are you. I'm Ron Edwards and welcome to the Run Edwards American Experience. There is his Faith Day, and we welcome one and all to join us from throughout America and around the world. And thank you for tuning in. Of course, we're being brought to you by Constitutional Grounds to coffee you want in your cup. Got a great guest today, surprise, very very good minister and a good guy overall. And I'm going to be talking with him and just a bit. But in the meantime, in between times, my friends, Prayers go out for the folks of New York and joys and boy, yeah, they had a real little, kind of a real shake up this morning. Earthquake epicenter of the New York City New Jersey earthquake Man Trump a national golf club. You know, Trump said that the ground shook very hard, and man four point eight magnitude surprised many locals in the process. And well they didn't say that in the end times, there's going to be earthquakes in diverse places. And so you know, my producer Doug says, it's all those illegals in New York City stomping their feet. Well, that's probably a contributory factor. I won't deny that, sir. But anyway, you know, lots of crazy things are going on, lots of crazy things in all seriousness, amongst the most crazy things. You know. For some time I have expressed disappointment feelings ranging from disappointment to disdain for one Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the US House. And the reason why is because in a sense I have less respect for him than I do for Uncle Joe Biden. And the reason why is because Uncle Joe Biden is who he is. He's been a Communist an evil supporter ever since he first got in office in nineteen seventy two, and he's never changed his stripes. You have someone like Mike Johnson, Big Mike Johnson, right, oh, little Mikey actually, and he is for years been touting himself as a believer in our Constitution, follower of Christ, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. And since he became speaker, the guy has been just awful. He has been just as liberal or left leaning as Kevin McCarthy and any Democrat you can name. He just approved the the biggest and the worst spending bill in US history. And by the way, when it's fully implemented, it's going to be a big problem. When this bill goes into full operation, it's not going to be pretty. Folks. You think things are going bad now economically, you just wait. Well, and I have privately questioned, is mister Johnson under someone's thumb? Does somebody have something on him? What's going on here? How can you be one way even lead prayers in the House of Congress and speak of all the wonderful things about your faith in Jesus and all of that, and then you turn around and do what you've done, mister little Mikey Johnson, and so proving that great minds think alike. Representative Marjorie Taylor Green aired speculative concerns regarding Speaker Mike Johnson's recent political actions, suggesting a potential blackmail situation to explain what she perceives as a radical departure from his known conservative and Christian stances. Now, Marjorie Taylor Green doesn't know me from Adam. We've never had a conversation, but yet we come to the same thought that someone has something on this guy. And she says, suggesting a potential blame male situation. And see, this is why I could go all the way back to my childhood when my dad would talk to me about a righteous standard and how you have to have if you get into the public arena and you stand up or you present yourself as one who stands up for what is right, YadA, YadA, then that means your background has to be clean too, so that no one can come to you and say, you know what, if you don't stab all those in the back that you who have supported you, you don't come to the dark side. We're going to pull this out and we're going to tell the world that you did this and such and such twenty years ago or whatever. This is. This is sad stuff and it must be true. Or because I've thought two things. It's possible that someone has something on them. But I've also thought that, you know, like many people that run around saying that they're Christian, the follows of Christ, even some ministers, when all they're doing is trying to lead people to hell and economically, mister Johnson is trying to lead America to Hell in a handbasket. And he made a complete departure from who he has led us to believe what he is. Because you remember when he was first appointed as speaker. When he became speaker, I was all happy, oh wow, because he was saying all the right things. He was at first seemingly he was speaking about doing the right things, okay, And so yeah, I thought, boy, we got rid of Kevin McCarthy Bamo, things are going to turn around. No, they got worse. They got worse. He posted a bill that was worse than what even nasty Pelosi had wanted to do. And see, this is very dangerous. This represents a very clear and press in danger that our nation faces today. Not only do we have to be concerned about those who are openly on the dark side, but we also have to use our desernment and become more wise when it comes to choosing those who say, hey, I stand for what is right well for me, and I'll set you free, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. We need more decernment than any other time in our American history. I'm going to see what our guests today thinks about that. Yeah, because this this, I have to say, it's really I know I seem stuck on this thing, but it's almost heartbreaking. It represents well. Hopefully the result of what he has passed doesn't come to fruition. Then you will understand why I seem stuck on this the economic disaster that this thing is going to open the door to. And this is why we've got to be more simplified in our in our approach to things when it comes to the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ, so that people will know you by your true character and you won't be you know, you won't be a fake. You won't be fooling people, and we won't be fooled by you if you're trying to fool us. Because I have to admit I was fooled, and rarely am I fooled. But Mikey, little Mikey, you got me that time. But I tell you what, if we the people stand together and we do the right thing, little Mikey, you will will pay the price for this, for what you have done to this republic. This is a Round Edwards American Experience. I'm Ron Edwards and thanks so much for tuning in on this Faith Day edition. And our guest today is Austin Craigs and we'll be in conversation with him in just a moment. But you know, in the United States of America today, most of the people who attend are denominational and mega churches and religious religious systems are being, in my opinion, led astray from the ways of Jesus Christ by deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. In addition, our religious systems are being defined by Constantine of the third century. Now he corrupted Christianity or the followers of Christ, as we're promptly defined as followers of the Word with his changes, and we are still practicing many of his traditions. Today. We are in a big spiritual trouble, big Heapham trouble in this republic turned mobocracy. And if we ever hope to have a move of God and our nation, we have to make a significant change back to the ways of Christ. I mean, Christ has to recognize his people. If his people are running around like roaches, acting like whatever, being deceived all the time, like many of us were deceived by little Mikey, I mean, that's that's that's pretty that's pretty bad stuff. And there are many deceivers amongst us. They're called tears. And anyway, let's welcome our guest pastor, Austin Crates, and welcome to the run Edwards American experience. How are you, sir, I'm well, and thank you for the opportunity to be with you today. Thank you, you know. I'm remind of the verse Tewod Corinthians eleven to three, which says, but I am afraid less as the serpent deceived eve by his craftiness, Your minds should be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. And I think, sir, that that kind of describes our country today. In many ways we are deceived people, even many among many amongst us who are followers of the word can be deceived, as I was with Mikey Johnson, our speaker, and so no one is immune to this art of deception of the enemy, whether he's those who claim to be Christ of Christ rather or those who are not. What say you, well, We're definitely in a period of disinformation and disorientation, and no greater example of that can be given except for the COVID hopes that we experienced, where we were being told various points of information, for instance, like mask wearing would help you in the well community more or less of the virus, where in truth, if you look at the box and when it says not to be used for our viole, you know, for prevention, for viral prevention, and the same thing was true with like the vaccine. So we're getting inundated with the media that has its prime source from two sources, where everybody else balls in line, and it's become more of a propaganda than it is actually the protection of the people and the information for the people to make the decisions about their republic, not democracy. But I agree with you and the other aspect of this, if we want to go into more of the ecclesiastical or church realm, is that we have a lot of people that are trying to attract people with various programs and things, but are very bleak on biblical content because they don't want to offend anybody. And so you have a lot of secret, sensitive churches that attract a lot of people but are very low on discipleship. And the end of results of that through studies that people have done that after about two or three years of sitting at a few in a church like that, people look for a place where they can get deeper teaching and a more of a biblical perspective and a biblical worldview. You know, that reminds me of one of the Founding Fathers who said, if you don't know your rights, you don't have any and if you don't know the Word of God, you won't have that knowledge that you need for your protection and for the furtherance of the Gospel in the world. And thus you have what you see today in our country and in Great Britain and Australian. Throughout the world, you see this rapid deterioration amongst the so called Western nations. And they in many cases, whether it's among the churches or elsewhere, they seem to be gleefully marching in this wrong direction. We keep getting, in my opinion, what are called warning signs. Back up, turn around, turn from your stupid, wicked ways. And I think God has been very merciful, especially to this nation. But you know, in many cases, you know, all good things come to an end, and I think we could be reaching the end of God's patients. What say you, Well, let's take a little bit of an example from England in the seventeen hundreds. The thing that saved England from an outright civil war revolution was the fact that you had the John Wesley's and the Whitfield and others that were revivalists George Whitfield was basically an outcast in the eyes of the Church of England. And so what you had was you had a man that was Oxford educated. By the way his life is fascinating, we don't really have time to go into it. But the churches wouldn't allow him to preach in their facilities, and so Whitfield went out to what would be considered the lower part of society, the co workers, and he would preach in the fields. Not two hundreds, but two thousands, sometimes up to ten thousand people would hear him preach. And it was through the preaching of the Whitfields and the Wesleys and others that England was saved of a bloody revolution. And I think that we're coming into the same situation here today. You know, we're in a situation where the pastor in the pulpit has one or two things. Either he's going to cower and not treach the word and try to satisfy people and allow them to be exposed to moralistic therapeutic deism, which is a nice way of saying I'm not going to give you anything offensive. I'm just going to tell you you're a great person, and sadly to say, a lot of churches have fallen into that trap. But compare that to the other type of pastor that is biblically found, has a biblical worldview and is not there to pacify you, but to bring the truth of God into your life and discipleship. And he'll pay the cost regardless. He'll pay the cost because he knows that there is a higher judge that will judge him for all the teaching that he does and how he handles the congregation. Now, I have to admit those type of pastors today are more of a rarity. My hope is in the youth, because we have a lot of youth that are questioning the church because they never get their answers. I'm sorry, the questions to their answers. And I believe we're going to see a reawakening that will take place in our youth and they will be sold out and there will be a national revival. At least that's my hope that we will have a national revival, because it's the only thing that's going to keep us from going down the path that we're going down right now. Absolutely, you mentioned Wesley when we were in England a few years ago, we went to one of the in fact more than one of the spots where he actually prayed, i mean preached, and one was in an area where they were did their mining. And it's a huge circle, and the people used to sit in this giant circle which was dug out, and in fact the lectern still stands there today and you could still feel the impact literally of the truth that was spoken there many many years ago. And so you bring back a huge history lesson that we saw up closed there just a few years ago. But uh, you're right, the youth. But the thing is, though, the youth are very dissatisfied with with with our society today, and rightfully so. And it is my prayer that enough of them are being told enough of the truth where their curiosity, their youthful curiosity, will carry them into a deeper search and bring about what you hope to happen with the invigorated youth, because like you said, there are so many ministers of today. They're they're jokes, they're just they're they're just hot air, no better than the politicians that we speak about. But we're going to hold it right there and we'll be right back on this faith day addition of the Ron Edwards American Experience with our guest minister Austin Creek Center. Two days in the gym you won't recognize many changes. One hundred days in the gym and you'll almost be a new person. One day of playing guitar and you can barely play one chord. One hundred days of practicing guitar and you can almost play any song. When you do anything long enough, it adds up. If you do nothing, it adds up to zero. So take the small steps every single day, do what you're supposed to do, and don't expect some incredible results in one day or two days or even ten days worthwhile things take one hundred days, maybe five hundred or one thousand days, or maybe even five thousand days. They take time, and whatever it is you want to do isn't going to happen in just one day. You have work to do, and I know it's just a little bit. I know it's just a tiny little movement forward, but that work is what it takes. Without consistent effort, success is inconceivable. I'm Ron Edwards. As long as there's breath, I will pressure leaning praising the one that shed his grace on America, Jesus Christ. Hello, I'm Ron Edwards and welcome back to this edition of The Ron Edwards American Experience Faith Day. And you know, the Bible says that there's one God, one Church, one Lord, and one Gospel, one Spirit, one Jesus, one Bible and one way. So why in sam Hill does it seem the Christianity in the United States of America, Great Britain and elsewhere is so diced up and different from the Word of God and the Church yesue are built in the first century. Why the big difference. Maybe our guests can give us an answer on that. We're back with our guest today, Austin Greats Minister, how do you answer that question, sir well, one of the things you have to understand is that theology has a history to it, and when we are in the early stages of the New Testament Church basically having a Jewish concept and idea of covenant, of redemption, of atonement, and definitely of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, the teachings, et cetera. Now you mentioned earlier, I think it was Constantine. Things actually went rather well the first seventy five years. There was a harmony between the Jewish individuals, synagogues, et cetera. But then when it came down to the deity of Christ, the incarnation, that's where a split took place. So in one fifty AD there was this split from the Church and the synagogue, and as a matter of fact, the Jews actually persecuted the Church, and usually through history you see just the opposite going on. When Constantine came to power, he did not have a theological perspective or background, and so the Church from being persecuted almost overnight, was welcomed as the shall we put government Church of the Empire of Rome. And not everybody went with this. There were other groups around the world that did not come into that let's say group or denomination for lack of a better term. So Constantine had some of his buddies placed in various positions within the church, and he ruled over the church. And we know from what we call the church councils were certain doctrinal de decisions were made, and so what we had is we had from a simple act to community that would meet in homes and be community. It turned into a let's say, cathedral and liturgy that we have today now, not just in the Catholic churches, but that influence infiltrated into the Reformation as well. Luther never wanted to have his own church. He wanted to reform the Catholic Church. Calvin basically the same thing, and for the most part, most of the reformers. But a lot of the traditions that took place in those early days filtered its way through to the church even to this present day. So you have churches that are what we call very liturgical. They go by a liturgy, and then you have churches that are not liturgical. This is what's the difference between what they call a high church and a low church scenario. But through the years you had various doctrinal differences due to the way that you interpreted the Word of God. Now that's interesting about you just go on here for just a second. Most people when they go to a Bible college or a seminary, they're taught a system of belief rather than scripture. Right to catch on what I'm saying by that, ron, Yes I do, big, big time, Yes I do. Okay, So what you have is they are learning the system. They're not learning theology. They're very or i should say Bible in theology. They are very few seminary today that will actually just teach biblical theology. And I was graduating from Acheline Theological Seminary and that's all they taught is biblical theology. And I'm minored in historical theology. And you could see whenever you see a weird doctrine or something, you can always trace it back to some source. And so you see how there was distortions in interpretation, which is very important. How you interpret there's grammatical interpretation or pure hermanutics, as we call it interpretation. But then you have what they call special hermanutics, which these systems adhere to their own way of interpreting the scripture. And that's why, like you were asking, how did we get into this myth of everybody having something different, it's because we honor the systems more than we do the actual interpretation of scripture. And that's the predicament that we're in right now. And that's probably a whole show in itself, fron but that's basically, in a nutshell what has taken place. And so as a result, we completely ignore what Jesus says about unity in the body of Christ. One of the most fractured, ununified entities on the planet is the body of Christ. And we ignore that part of the Bible that tells us to die to our old flesh nature, how to renew our mind, and how Satan can affect the life of a follower of Jesus Christ, and just that little bit, just that tiny little bit, is rarely spoken of correctly, in my opinion, in most churches, not only in the United States, but if you go to Great Britain or France or wherever, and then you wonder why other entities are gaining ground and more influence in the world. It's not because the Islamis, for example, are more correct in their ideology. It is because they are united and they are living according to what they believe, and they're rolling with that. As opposed to followers of Yeshure or Jesus, they're so fractured, and as you say, and we used to jokingly call it cemetery schools, they're not teaching these principles, and so we end up with the conditions that we have today. Some pastors actually teach that Satan and his demons, for example, cannot bother the Christian and I think that is utterly foolish. And what how do you how do we get this foolishness out of the body of Christ, out of out of the church. How do we, you know, get around this and start getting back to truth. On a large scale, You're going to find that a lot of churches aren't gonna even bother with that. There's such a protection for the system that anything outside of that little box will require a paradigm shift in order to get them out. You see, What's what's going on is that when you teach a particular way of viewing things, and interpretation is the key to this. If I put on my Reformed glasses or my Baptist classes or Catholic classes, I'm going to see things differently because of the tent of the glass that is there. When I take the glasses off and I just allow the word to speak, even if I may have minor disagreements, that's where you're going to find unity. And let me just say this unity will never come around around doctrine. The way to unify the church is through relationships. And when pastors have relationships even if their doctrinal differences are way off, and they get to know the person that's ministering in the same city or area, there is that Christian unity and love that begins to take place where dialogue can happen. But dialogue is secondary to relationships, and that's really the first step. But you're not going to come into a doctional agreement. Now. You will come into doctrinal agreement. And what we call the dogmas, the Trinity, the incarnation, the resurrection, judgment, et cetera, et cetera. Those issues are the mainstay of what Christianity is really all about. And you'll find unity in that, but you'll also find diversity in how that's interpreted in teaching. So dogma is the foundations, but doctrine is how each church or fellowship teaches the dogma, and that's where that's where really a lot of the division comes in. Some people believe in the rapture, some people don't believe in the rapture. Some people believe that only members should have communion, others don't. All these little traditions and stuff is what's killing the church. I've done some church consulting and the biggest question is are you willing to change? And a lot of the churches that are dying, they're absolutely refusing through, you know, do what's necessary in order to survive. And a lot of it is old tradition, like you know, we always did things this way, and that's what's really killing us. And it goes both not only for the people in the church, but also for the pastors. We're seeing. We're seeing along the lines right now of LGBT, Q X y Z, you know the alphabet too, literally denominations falling apart. And again it's all on the basis of interpretation and how how they're willing or unwilling to adapt or change. Now, what I'm saying adapting, I'm not saying change the gospel. What I'm saying is some of the traditions that are found in various congregations need to be put aside, like sacred cows, and allow the Gospel to speak again. Yeah. And I think also that speaking speaking of the Word of God, that I think if if churches, if people in general decided, hey, you know what, why don't we unite on the principles, the Ten Commandments, some of the levitical principles, things that are that are immutable, they're they're not you know, you can't mess with uh. Thou shall not steal, Thou shall not cover thy neighbor's wife, nor his ox, nor his ask. Thou shall not lie, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. I think if we made a decision to get back to those moral principles and stick to that, I think, branching out into the other areas, I think we would make more right decisions and be more unified. Because if you if you, if you're if you're unified on the on the on the basic founding principles that dictate your moral behavior and your thinking and your actions. I think if you stem from that, you will have a a greater chance of unity and more strength and power in the battle between good and evil. All right, man, I hate to end it right here, but we've only got about a minute. Could you honor us, sir with a prayer? You know, go as God lead you, but like to do even if you could pray about unity in the body. Father, We thank you for your son. We thank you for what he has done and accomplished on the cross, his willingness to come down one hundred percent God and one hundred percent man, and his cry in John seventeen was for us to unify as believers. And Lord, we humbly come before you this day and ask, Lord, bring your church together in this time of peril, disinformation and downright evil, bring your church together to raise the standard of the Lord Jesus Christ and his kingdom. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen, Amen. Thank you so much. You're listening to the Ron Edwards American experience. When it comes to following Christ. There's no such thing as Baptist, Pecostal or Catholic righteousness. It's the righteousness we find through Christ. I'm by Edwards and you're listening to the rhyd Words American experience Faith. They addition, thank you so much for tuning in. And you know a person who has a form of godliness is not saved by the blood. They don't make Jesus Lord. They don't need the Word of God or Holy Spirit because they have their religion oh worked out on their own in their own adult brains. They live to satisfy their fleshly desires, and they walk, talk, and act like what they call the world. They never change, but attend church for many years, staying in the same way year after years, because, as Joel Olstein famously says, Jesus loves you. Just come as you are. They don't believe that there are consequences for disobeying God God, not resisting Satan, and ignoring part of the Word of God. They ignore the judgment of God to their own detriment. So we have some serious decisions. See where the deciders, and we have to make our systems. We have to straighten them out. But we cannot straighten them out based upon our feelings, our own human customs, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. We have to go to the principles of God. Throughout history, God has always wanted the people he could call his own that would represent him correctly on his earth. He gave the first five books of the Bible to set forth laws, precepts, commandments, and principles on how his people were to live in the wilderness. Remember that you've all read that story right. He set up types and shadows in the building of the temple and in the feasts to reflect his son, the coming Messiah. But over time man began to kind of ruin things. And when we get in, when we start ruining things and trying to change things into our own image or what we wanted to be, rather than what God wants it to be, you know, notice how things really mess up. Now. The Constitution of the United States was based upon godly principles, and though the men who ran the United States were imperfect, the goal was good because the goal was to live up to the principles of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, which were inspired by the Word of God. But as we today continue in this United States of America to drift away, drift drift, drift, drift away. And it's not just the those who are not walking with Christ. They're not the only ones who are drifting away. There are many cocky, proud Christians who walk around not caring about the very country that they are living in. And we're seeing the result of that. If you don't care about your own personal home. What happens to it? It gets dirty. You have furry little visitors inside, little mice that come in uninvited. You have bugs. If you live in Arizona, you might find a scorpion under your pillow when you wake up, or in your shoes. So we have to clean up our moral standards in the United States and in Great Britain and throughout the world. If we claim the name of Christ, then we have to claim his word, his principles, et cetera, and live according to these principles and precepts. And you know, over time man began to run things in the name of God, and then there came a religious system. By the time of the birth of Yeshua, the temple religious system had become so corrupt by the scribes, seduces, and the Pharisees it could not recognize the time of their visitation of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the New Wine had arrived, but the religious leaders would not recognize him. They ignored him and then wanted to destroy him. Just like today, religious leaders ignore what they should be doing, what they should be teaching. They ignored the example they should be setting. Back when Jesus was walking the earth. He ministered to all the people, even those religious leaders of the corrupt temple system. But Jesus made it perfectly clear that you cannot take his new wine and put it in old wine skin religious systems. Nor do men put new wine in to old wine skins. Otherwise the wine skins burst and the wine pours out, and the wine skins are ruined. But they put new wine into fresh wine skins, ah, and then both are preserved, and then it's very tasty. If the grapes were good, well, Jesus came preaching the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of God message, and the Kingdom of God. Conduct that Jesus exhibited and lived out for his disciples would be the fulfillment of the old is the new wine of God. If you wanted to live in function in the new system, the Kingdom of God that has roots that began in Genesis, you must empty yourself of the old religious system of man. Jesus went to the cross, ascended to heaven, and sent back the Holy Spirit to guide us. This system worked perfectly for Christ's disciples up until the middle of the third century, when Constantine instituted his traditions amen. And I believe the Constantine meant well because he wanted to make the followers of Christ legal. He said they shouldn't be persecuted, but worre he messed up. See many times you know the Word. There's a book that came out in the in the early it was in the nineteen eighties, The Road to Hell is paid with good intentions, and the good intention the well intentioned Constantine ended up putting Christianity almost on the road to Hell. Not literally, but a lot of hellish things have occurred and have seeped in to the church world, and now we have it's all mixed up today. Christianity, Christians or the followers of the Word think we're still the largest single organization on the planet, but one of the most uneffective. We have big numbers but very little comparative impact. And you know, God gave man dominion over the earth, but man corrupted his own dominion. He corrupted the gift of dominion through his faulty relationship with Satan. And yes, yes it was Eve first, but Eve didn't technically know any better. Adam knew what Adam should have done when he slipped off with Satan. Adam should have said, you know what, Lord, you know what, I'm not going to do this. Can you get me another one? Another woman? Oh? Man? But we can all say that, right. But I wonder what we would do if we were in Adam's place? Would we have done any better? I just you know, one has to wonder. Do you want me to say that out loud? Doug, Oh my goodness, Oh no, I can't do that. But anyway, so, because of what man has done and allowed to happen, we were in control, we had power, but we became vain. And guess what, we don't operate in as much power as we should today. But we can recover as we recover our relationship with our creator through his son Jesus Christ.
