This is Faith Day, and in celebration of Faith Day, we've got a great guest today. His name is Peter Cunningham of Lancaster's Lighthouse Radio. He's going to be joining us in a few minutes after the first break, and he will be sharing with us some things that are going on in Great Britain and well I'm sure he'll have a lot to say about some of the recent developments in that great nation. Well, speaking of that, my goodness, here's a reason to exercise our faith. Al Qaeda leader is calling on Muslims throughout the United States and Great Britain to launch terror attacks and assassinate President Trump and his entire cabinet. Sa'ad ben actf l Alki, the newly anointed leader of the Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, has issued a chilling call for arms, targeting the President of the United States Donald Trump, Vice President JD. Vans, and other top administration officials, including Elon Musk and cabinet members. The Islamic tearst, already wanted by the United States government with a six million dollar bounty on his head, released a thirty four minute video recently filled with explicit threats and calls for bloodshed inside the United States. In Great Britain, according to the New York Post, l Alwlaki, a speaking in Arabic but quickly translated and circulated on social media, issued a direct incitement to domestic terror by calling for the estimated four point five million Muslims living in the United States and the many living in Great Britain to carry out lone wolf style assassinations in the name of revenge alaa Lucky as a first, practical and immediate measure, He says, I call on every Muslim in the infidel, criminal and arrogant the United States of America and Great Britain. It does not matter if they are of Arab, American, air British or other descent. What matters is that they are Muslim and their prophet is Muhammed. There are forty point five million of Muslims in the United States alone, and he's calling on all of them. He says, revenge is the order of the day. Revenge. Do not consult anyone about killing infidel Americans or Great Britain subjects. You should have a lot of determination and the list of your targets should be effective. Go after the scum of the earth and its greatest criminals. This is Trump and his vice president. This is Elon Musk and his advisers or any supporter in terms of finance, administration, and technology. These include his Secretary of State and his Secretary of Defense. Go after their families and all those who have any ties to or are close to the politicians of the White House elsewhere l Alwaukee, for whom the United States State Department has issued a six million dollar bounty. Praised subjects and suspects who have carried out a spate of recent anti medic terror attacks, as well as those behind the prior assassination attempts on President Trump of the United States and the thirty four minuted video titled Inciting Believers. The terror leader also called for strikes on all Jews, whether it's in the United Time States, Great Britain or anywhere in the world. He says, do not leave a single safe place for Jews, just as they have not left any homes, shelters or respite for the Palestinians, he said. And I find this laughable. And the reason why I find it laughable is because, first of all, there's an old statement we used to say, don't start nothing, won't be nothing. And like street bullies, the Muslims, they always start something. They can dish it out, but they can't take it. And they're getting their butts smith blown to smithereens in the Gaza strip by the powerful Israelis, and hey, that's what they get. Though, in my humble opinion, the Israelis did not go hard enough, because they are still standing and this guy is still selling wolf tickets. The Bible says there's a time for war and there's a time for peace, and right now I believe that PG time is over. Those who want to restore Great Britain. If Britain is to ever be great again. She cannot be great again through Tiddley Winks kissing the backsides of the Islamist just to appease them and stop going after British subjects who happen to walk their dog in their neighborhood. And some Islamist says, oh, we don't want to see dogs in our neighborhood anymore, And then the British subjects are forced by the British government to not walk their dogs. This is crazy, But this is what happens when you give up your greatness. This is what happens when you walk away from God. This is what happens when you allow God's wisdom to take wing and fly back to the Father. Then what's left behind is a bunch of stupid people, unfaithful people, people that are no longer loyal to their own nation, yep, people that are in agreement with the evil. You know, you know a lot of Christians will not, you know, agree with my attitude. But oh well, it is what it is. I can live with that. But can you you wimp as Americanus apologetic as Christians, or you weaken droopy daffodils in great Britain who call yourselves Christians. Can you look yourselves in the mirror and think about how you'll be judged, because it's not just you. You have children, if you live long enough, you have grandchildren and so on and so on. You cannot be a coward and just say, oh, it's all about just being safe, because there is no safety amongst the Islamists. The weaker you present yourself, the more congenial you present yourself to an Islamic, the more territory they take. There is no mercy in their dogma. They take kindness as a weakness. And when it comes to nation against nation, the rules are quite different biblically and otherwise as compared to how you deal with an individual, because if you do not deal strongly with a national or international adversary, nation to nation, that adversary will eventually, as Khrushchev said many years ago, better you. And I hate to say it. It pains me to say it because I really like great Britain. But cowardly behavior does not bring about respect, does not bring about greatness. What are your women thinking? Women are gravitated to strong men, to strength, to power. And now you have a prime minister over there. That is just a trader. He is a trader to Great Britain. What is the church doing? I asked these questions about the Church because I really don't know. And I say the same thing about the so called spiritual advisors for our President, Paul O' White. Oh my god, she's the head of it. What a fake, what a fake person. And Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House of the Congress of the United States of America, who touts himself as a man of God, a man of the cloth, a belief, a believer as it is, but yet he does things to undermine President Trump. He does things that appease those that want to literally destroy this nation by having it spend itself into oblivion. And there's you know, there's going to be heavy judgment. I'm sorry. In the United States, unlike other nations, we have no excuse. There is no excuse literally, and therefore we have no one to blame but ourselves. See a lot of other nations, you know, they never had the kinds of words in their beginning of their nations like the United States of America. The words of our first ten Amendments are our total reflection of the first of the ten commandments. But we ignore these things and allow the evil doers to take over the way we have will be just for that, And we'll see if our guest today agrees with that when we return on this the faith they addition of the ron Edwards can experience. It does, indeed it does. Indeed, have been quite busy over here. And what's not complaining. It's always good to serve, how a lawd, isn't it? Yes? You know? A May two thousand survey of American pastors and ministers conducted by George Barne asked Christian leaders to identify what books were the most influential on their lives in their ministries. Now, the purpose driven life was the most frequent response, not their Bibles. Today's pew sitting Christians are more familiar with the words of Warren than the words of Jesus. Hmm, I kind of I find that kind of interesting. What say you? It is interesting, isn't it. It's I mean, my answer would have been the Bible. But you know, it's funny. I mean, I've never been been a particular fan of that individual. To be honest, with the purpose driven life and purpose driven I don't know whatever he wants to call it. It's not my cup of tea, but you know, it's funny. I was talking to somebody who identified as a Seventh the Adventist, and they have a similar thing, don't they? Were they They seem to preach and read from I can't remember what the book's called, but there's some some. Ellen G. White, the Seventh the Adventist seemed to put her on a pedestal and preach and her book above the Bible. Hey, I'm wrong in saying that. I do apologize, but it's certainly the impression I got, so I can really understand that answer in many people's line of thinking, but it certainly isn't mine. They meant to that, you know, you know, despite what the political parties would like you to believe, the problem in the United States, and I believe in Great Britain is not the politicians. Nope, it is a pulpits. And I hate to break this news to our listeners, but many of America's and Great Britain's pulpits are filled with cowardly men and unfortunately women, and they are ashamed to the Christ they claim to serve. And yes, maybe that sounds a bit harsh, but if I were lying, or if I believed I was telling a lie, I would not say those words. Do you think I'm too harsh in saying that? Or what? Say you? No? And I don't think you are. I think and I totally agree with that statement. I mean, particularly from my perspective with the church I attend and when I often get called to preach at various churches, I deliver God's word. I make no apologies for God's word. If it offends an individual, I make no apologies at all. It is God's word. And if I'm wrong in what I'm saying, I expect someone to have an adult conversation. I'm open to discussion, but yes, you are right in what you're saying. I mean, I visited a church some time ago, and I'll just described it as it was. I'm not going to play about with words. The worship was repetitive. It was like being in a nightclub, was watching a massive amount of ego being displayed. And then and then the pastor appeared, followed by a spotlight and basically tickled my ear for ten minutes with such a such a lightweight sermon. I really felt that I've been robbed of a nowur and a half of my time. I really did. I'm not I'm not going to put that that's what I witnessed. You know that, And I'm allowed to have an opinion, and I'm possibly aware that some of those people may well listen to this recording. But that's my opinion. That's what I witnessed, and I have a right to say it. I agree wholeheartedly. I don't know if you've ever heard of a preacher. His name is Joel Olstein. Oh yeah, Smiley, Joe, Yeah, the one. I call him the Burger King. You've seen the Burger King and the commercials and the smile of the King. There's a great similarity between him and Joel Olstein, and he was voted the most influential Christian way back in two thousand and six. And his preaching style focuses on the goodness of God, which is, you know, we are to focus on the goodness of God. However, especially in these times, and correct me if I'm wrong, it would be more important to focus on sin and how to get out of sin, the right way to get away from sin, because let's face it, Pete, our nations yours is you know, man, it's heartbreaking when I just think about England. I mean I could just cry ever since Queen Elizabeth died. It just it was bad enough already, but now it's just an afterthought amongst great nations. And this is self inflicted and it is because there has been a purposeful walk away from the great founding principles of Great Britain. I mean, you all were mind blowingly great at one time. As I said earlier this the sun never set on the British Empire at one time. I mean, can you can? I mean, when you think about it, the British Empire impacted Land all over the globe. The British sterling was unmatched at one time. But in nineteen fifty seven, when you all gave away the oh gosh, Gibraltar, the Seagate, that began the official unraveling of Great Britain. And around that time Great Britain began to also turn away from the principles of God, which opened the door for the Beatles and everything and all of that, all of that and Mick Jagger and all that represented and so and equally here in the United States with our problems. But see, here's the thing in our country. The reason why we have the Joel Oldstein's and all these fake preachers is because beginning in the nineteen fifties, the CIA went into these churches and said, hey, we want you to water down teaching about morality in the Ten Commandments. Teach about how wonderful Christ is, you know, Jack, And no one does it better than Joel Olstein. Okay. And so that's how we got away from morality. And I would I suspect without knowing, but I suspect something similar happened in Great Britain. What say you, Yeah, you're right, You're right. I think. See, when we when we were the empire. We we we traveled the world. We had the British Empire. The Bible was given to people, wasn't it the King James and so on and so forth. It was a marvelous thing. And sadly all declined. Yeah, and it's sad because I mean, when you go over there, we were over there and we saw London. It was just mind blowing. I had this. It impacted me like the first time when I walked the streets of New York. I mean, one of the great cities of all time, of all existence, London, and now it's being run by your enemies, the Muslims. Before we get into some more subject matter, I want to give a big shout out to Christie Higgs. The Supreme Court there in Great Britain recently refused the school's attempt to appeal a landmark win. The Supreme Court refused to hear the appeal of Farmer's School in Fairford, Gloucestershire, of the landmark Christie Higgs Court back in February and a seminal judgment for Christian freedom and free speech. The Court of a had reversed a ruling which defended the dismissal of Christi Higgs from the school for raising concerns on Facebook about extreme sex education and transgender ideology being taught in her son's Church of England primary school, and the school had appealed the decision, but the Supreme Court judge Lord Red Lord Hemblem and Lady similar Or Seimler rejected it, bringing to a close the extraordinary seven year legal battle. Missus Higgs legal case is supported by the Christian Legal Center and has been since twenty eighteen. This is a bit of good news for your country and I'm very happy to see this, and this, in my humble opinion, is encouraging. What say you? It is It's about time we have some common sentence, isn't it? You li. This past few years. Well, this is the thing in schools now. I mean, I have an eight year old daughter who in school now that they're wanting to teach sex education. I've said, do you know what, that's my job. It's mine and my wife's job. She doesn't need to know about that at eight years of age. Well, the problem is that the teaching too much, aren't they The teaching you know? All the lgbt Q plus. X y Z stuff. I'll give you an example which you might like this. It's a bit of it's seriousness, but I found it quite funny. So one of my sons has special needs and one of the schools that we're looking at, which seemed to be a very good school upon investigation, are a member of something called the Rainbow Flag Award. M hm. So when we looked at it, what it actually is the Rainbow Flag Award, And I hope someone's listening from this organization, feel free to contact me and have a discussion. It basically teaches children you can be what you want to be, who you want to be. It is not a problem, It is acceptable, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. I find that ultuately, ultuately, absolutely what a load of rubbish. So they're telling me, aren't they the same to us? If you are a special school, if you want to identify as a fridge freezer, that's fine. If you want to identify as some I don't know, a TV. If you if you're not sure on your sexuality, that's fine. Why can't we just teach boys are boys, girls are girls? You you know, you're a human being. You are you are mammalian, you know, and and and no it's not it's not. It's not acceptable to think you're a fridge freezer. There wait a minute, mad, but wait a minute. What if I want to be a cookery. Yeah, yeah, I mean I want to identify as someone who's hugely intelligent, good looking and wealthy. You know. But you know, Peter, I don't want my kids being taught this rubbish. Yeah yeah, and see that. That's why parents like you need to come together in mass. One thing that the Muslims do. They come together in huge numbers, and they push their way about and people fear them. And I think, you know, we can learn a few lessons from those who have overtaken Great Britain, like the Muslims have overtaken Great Britain, particularly London and Birmingham and a few other cities. And sometimes we have to not be afraid to push back, just as these people. In the case that I just addressed, and you reminded when you were talking, you reminded me of a case. It was called the Scopes monkey Trial. This happened in the earlier part of the twentieth century in the United States, and it was a court battle between the Darwinists and the Christians. And of course the Christians they had everything on their side, the Bible, I mean, America was a Bible believing nation at the time. They had all the advantages, but they were too afraid of intellectual speak that they did not in religently argue on behalf of creation. That the evolutionist won, and that began the putting of the Darwinist theory in government schools and replacing the proper teaching of creation, God's creation. And so I'm reminded of these things because it's so easy to defeat the argument of Darwinism or evolution. It's real simple. When God created the heavens and the earth right, everything was perfect. And ever since then things, ever since the fall of Adam and Eve, things have been winding down. Things have been depreciating. There has been no form of life that has been elevating. Nothing from slime to lizards, no, I'm sorry, slime to fish, to lizards, to monkeys, to birds, et ce to humans, nothing, if anything, it has been degrading. And so the theory of evolution is not only just a theory, it is actually based upon retarded thinking. And that's all the scope monkey trial people had to say. And I think Darwinism would not have ever come to fruition as a major force in government schools. All they had to do was look at the science, you said, They say, follow the science. Well, where is it that our earth is not degrading? If you can tell me, then I'll shut up. But do you think that I speak of the truth or am I just you know, cake walking here? Now? I believe in what the Bible says. There was once upon a time before I accepted Jesus's Lord, and say with you what, I was disinterested in anything to do to do with faith, religion, belief, whatever, completely disinterested. But I know through my own personal experience, I shall call it my personal Damascus Road experience, there was a radical change in my beliefs. There was knowledge coming to me which I was like, wow, you know that I know through the Holy Spirit revealing the Bible is true. And I will argue as well not I don't like to use what I will debate with anybody who can explain my personal radical change from being practically a heavy drinker womanizer one the evening to the following day having this softened heart and passion and love for Jesus and people. And you know that's not evolution. Evolution does not work like that. Only the Lord can work like that in an individual, surely, absolutely. And so I just you know, when you when you look at just use common sense. If you've read the Bible and you understand about creation and you see what's going on, it's the opposite. Why why else would God say He's going to bring forth a new Heaven and a new Earth. It's because this earth is actually slowly dying, and it began, it began its deathword spiral the day that Adam and Eve rejected God's principles and said yes to Satan. That began the slow death of our present day earth. That's why you see certain things in the earth, and you can see the residual effect of how God really created and how beautiful this earth really was. If you've ever gone to a place like Sedona, Arizona, where the all of the earth is bright red, and there are mountains in China where there are ribbons of different colors, and Utah there's a painted desert, and there's a few places that I've seen in a picture that I've seen in Europe and elsewhere in Asia where these multi colored dirt, and that's just a little fraction, and I can just imagine how pretty the earth was before the fall. And man has gotten physically weaker overall, even though it's all relative, because we're all in the same sphere of degradation with each generations, so we don't notice it unless we point out, and then we remember what things were like. Even architecture, the quality of architecture generally has decreased. I mean, look at the old grand buildings around Piccadilly Circus compared to the average little box of today, because even art has been purposefully degraded by the immoral architecture of today, because there's this purposeful methodology of degrading beauty, wiping beauty from the earth, and it's all wrapped up in sin and what's called a degradation, a degrading of the of our quality of life. So it's it's it's it's really sad. But I'm encouraged because I still believe we have time to fight against this, because I believe there is mercy and that we will have one more last multi year push in America, and even great Britain, if you all will have it, and a restoration of our two nations, not for their own glory, but for the glory of God. And that effort to that one last huge push to get the word out throughout the globe. What say you or do you think that it's that we're done? You think this is it? No? I think listen, if if there's any failure going to be had, we need to look at ourselves, don't we. You know, it's our job as believers. When we became believers, we took on the great commission, and that is the job of every believer, whether they like it or not. And that great commission, it starts with the word go, well, where do you go? We'll start with your neighbor, start with your havings, all start with you straight. You don't have to travel the world, do you. You know, just just tell the name of that Jesus loves them. That's a good start. You know, we almost know somebody who's not a faith who's struggling, So just spend some time with them, buy them coffee, asked them me if you can pray for them. I think that that's a brilliant place to start and share the love whether whatever whatever they have no faith or whether of another faith, just tell them Jesus loves them, and I think we'll do all right. Keep on pushing, That's what I say. Well, you know what that works for me? Yeah, because you know that's that's how I was approached that Jesus loved me. And I said, how do you know? And so And that's despite the fact that I grew up in a Christian household and everything. But I needed to know for myself. And I saw so many opposing actions by Christians and I excuse me, and by ministers and things of that nature. I looked at them more than I look to God. And so I learned to look to God. And they're therefore recognize that we're all fallen men, and we're all subject to make big heap of mistakes. And here we are, and it is my job to make sure that I get that I am together with God and not, you know, be judgmental against others. I must use judgment, though he does say to use comments. Hey, you know, when I think about British history, I'll never forget when we went to a mining site and I believe it's where was it? Wellesley? He preached throughout English and yeah, and when we went to this site where he preached and uh. He was an English cleric, theologian and an evangelist who was a principal leader of the revival movement within the Church of England known as Methodism. And he remains one of the great preachers of all time. And it's just my opinion based upon a little bit that I learned about him, and in some I think remote corners of Great Britain, he still has an impact. What say you. It does? He's still a fantastic person. John Wesley. I mean, you know, you think that the time he was around and every everything is still relevant. Everything he said, I mean, and this guy, I mean, I love reading about him. I think the time he spent in Wales, he I'm going to use the word offended. I don't know whether that's the right word, but he clearly rubbed people up the wrong way with some of his teaching, which only years later people have took a step back and forth. Well, actually he was right. However, for the time it was revolutionary. So yeah, fantastic guy was mister Wesley and Johnny. But his brother was Charles, wasn't it. I think John and Charles Wesley. There was Arthur Wesley. I'm looking at John Wesley, Arthur Wesley, Richard Wesley. Let's see, that's the that's all I see here. Arthur first Duke of Wellington National Portrait Gallery. He lived from uh he was the Prime Minister. I'm sorry, I'm looking at all these Wesley's John, Arthur and Richard. So you tell me, Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure what there was, Yeah, John John, because I think they were both sort of influenced by George Waitfield. Of course that's another name from the past. Okay, okay, but this is there's other kinds of teachings, in my opinion, we need today. And he was famous for being very bold, and uh, that's what we need today, men that are not afraid to tell the truth, to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. So help them God. And I believe that if we get back to that and we are as bold as we should be, the the enemies of the light of righteousness will will automatically in time back down, just as they did for what's his name another historical figure of Great Britain who was very bold for his time. He was a Christian, but he fought against slavery a Wilberforce. Oh yeah, and he went against the grain basically by himself, and he got them to end slavery. I think it was in eighteen thirty three. And but see it was a boldness. It wasn't popular, but he became a very popular man because he didn't give up and he he just wore down the entire structure of of the British government and man. But we need this kind of leadership and strength and power today. And I believe that because once you're if you're standing on the word of God, and you're standing on even if it's political issues, if you're standing based upon the principles of God, inevitably you will win. I mean, and history backs me up on that. And even if you even die in battle, the principles live on and the fight continues onto victory. And so and that's another thing. We have to no longer be afraid of even losing our life. That's a possibility. Many truth tellers have were cut down, you know, whether it was the martyr Paul and Stephen and Peter, I mean, beginning with the church, at the beginning of the church. But now because of big money and in some cases fear, you're big time ministers of today. The famous ones do not preach against Satan. I don't care if it's Kenneth Copeland, I don't care if it's any of them. They don't, they don't, they don't do. Like you said, it's like a waste of your time. And I and I think they harm your nation because there they during the time that they're talking, right, and the people that they're paying attention and the ones that are bringing in millions of viewers from around the world, they're if they're they're they're creating a moral vacuum because you have Joel Olstein, the smiley one. But Jesus loves you, and we just thank you, and God bless you, and he wants you to be well rich to and of course he'll bless you when you bless me. And that's the way it is. Ladies and gentlemen, just give unto me and God will give to you. And so I mean, that's that's the basic tenet of his of his message every single week, and he reaches millions of people and that's just one guy. And so you multiply that, and and the people that are going to church they're not being instructed against evil. Then you have the rest of society that never gets instructed against evil. And people wonder, oh my God, why is it so bad? Why is God allowing this? You ever hear that question, why is God allowing this? Well? Because you're not teaching against it? How about that? What say you? Yeah? Completely true that. As I said earlier, there's a lot of ear tickling as iconic going on in church. We need to be bold. We need to be bold in our in our in our words. We need to you know, everything we say, make sure you can back it up with scripture, Make sure you can. People will want to argue with us and the fingers with Christians. We you know we preach. We preach about love a lot. Yeah, it's right to do so, but we also need to teach with with this there is a price. Never mind the come as you are nonsense. Yes, come as you are, but leave. Yeah, but you don't stay as you are. Yeah. Hey, we don't have much time. Doug is giving me three fingers, maybe two. Now I need you to pray as you are led and you know, bless us in Jesus'. Name, No problem, no problem. Yeah, thank you Heavenly Father for this time. And or let let whatever message is taken from this Lord, let me not fall on deaf ears. The Lord, I'm reminded into to mefy when we talk about the fear. Lord, we don't have a spirit of fear. We have a spirit of love, of power and never sound mind. So let us have those wonderful things, those wonderful gifts, and then that the sound mind, Lord, to discern between utter rubbish and the sensibleness common sense. And of course, Lord your word within the Bible. Lord, bless these two nations. Lord, bless the world in fact in its deteriorating form, and just allow us the boldness the courage to speak to all the non believers, and that they might too enter the Kingdom of Heaven with us. Lord, I do thank you, thank you for the love of your son Jesus. And it's in his precious name Lord, I petition this prayer to you. Amen. Amen, and I want to thank you Pete for joining us.
