[00:00:00] Hi, I'm Pete Cunningham from Lancash's Lighthouse Radio Ministries and you're listening to The Ron Edwards American Experience.
[00:00:43] The Ron Edwards American Experience Talk Show, where our unalienable rights are celebrated.
[00:00:51] And now, your radio refreshment, Ron Edwards.
[00:01:05] And the truth shall set you free.
[00:01:26] Hello, I'm Ron Edwards and welcome to the Ron Edwards American Experience-Faith Day Edition.
[00:01:31] And do we have a lot of things to discuss today?
[00:01:34] We're going to be talking about various topics with our guest, his name is Mark Brumbaugh.
[00:01:39] He'll be coming up after the first break, but in the meantime, in between time,
[00:01:43] you know the battle that is going on, the major battle, whether it's political or spiritual or whatever,
[00:01:52] it's basically between tyranny and liberty.
[00:01:57] There's one side that wants to enslave us and not only just sin but enslave us economically, intellectually, so many ways.
[00:02:07] And then on the other side, there's liberty.
[00:02:11] And then there are these people that they want to put us all on an international guilt trip in the name of compassion.
[00:02:22] I call them the compassion cartel.
[00:02:26] Yeah, eradicating poverty is the most popular excuse for the expansion of government power when in fact it is often government power that creates.
[00:02:37] More poverty.
[00:02:40] Case in point, the United States of America itself.
[00:02:44] You know that in the 1950s and early 1960s all Americans were greatly improving as far as their quality of life economically and otherwise.
[00:02:56] Moving ahead at a fast pace then came the bastardized rights movement and you know the hippie-dippy movement
[00:03:02] and all the things that came out of that era.
[00:03:06] And guess what?
[00:03:08] Even though the United States has remained a very prosperous nation and very powerful nation, in many ways the quality of life has gone down.
[00:03:18] Did you know one aspect of quality of life that is very, very important, it's called liberty and freedom.
[00:03:25] But did you know that the United States amongst the nations of the world ranks about number 55 as far as freedom of speech and liberty?
[00:03:38] I told you folks that the United States government has been operating by most if not all of the mandates or statutes of the communist manifesto.
[00:03:49] And they use poverty as the excuse to do so.
[00:03:53] Of course they create the problems in the first place.
[00:03:58] It was government that chased away the majority of America's largest impactful avenues of prosperity for the average American.
[00:04:14] That was manufacturing.
[00:04:15] At the same time they've been chasing away our farms which are family owned etc. etc.
[00:04:24] In order to push us into a corporate farm situation where we're forced to eat garbage, called food etc.
[00:04:35] And then you have the guilt trip.
[00:04:38] Oh yes. I still see these commercials that I remember from the 1980s.
[00:04:49] And they're telling people, won't you please give?
[00:04:54] These people are suffering because of what happened in the Holocaust.
[00:05:00] They don't have any food to eat.
[00:05:04] Oh walla walla.
[00:05:05] And these are the same old commercials that ran in the 1980s.
[00:05:11] And you know it's funny my wife and I we joke about that there's that same grandma you saw her too?
[00:05:17] Yeah we did.
[00:05:20] And while I believe I was taught by my dad to always help those who are in need.
[00:05:27] And we still do that. I still do that to this day.
[00:05:30] I literally do.
[00:05:32] So it's not I don't have a problem with helping those in need but what I do have a problem with is that we the American people pay for the most expensive and largest government in the world that produces conditions that create more poverty.
[00:05:48] Poverty?
[00:05:50] And it's a multifaceted sense of poverty not just economic intellectual poverty.
[00:05:58] It is a shame when you see the vast number of Americans who are totally or almost totally victims of government induced intellectual poverty lack of thinking skills critical thinking that is.
[00:06:16] And this is all by design.
[00:06:20] So if you don't have any wisdom if you don't have any intellectual development.
[00:06:25] You're indoctrinated robots.
[00:06:28] You're running around.
[00:06:31] You know you're just fighting on behalf of Palestinians on college camp I instead of attending college and getting an education but then it's at the same time these government sponsored education centers or indoctrination centers called colleges in U.S.
[00:06:47] And universities are producing the very people that produce the headaches and heartaches for this country one generation to the next.
[00:06:56] And the beat goes on currently 1.2 billion people are living in poverty throughout the earth.
[00:07:03] Wow 50,000 deaths occur every single day as a result of poverty.
[00:07:11] I remember reading about how in the 1960s early 1960s.
[00:07:18] Most of Africa was self sufficient when it came to food production.
[00:07:24] But when the Communist moved in.
[00:07:27] And decided to.
[00:07:30] You know convince the majority of Africans that you know what.
[00:07:36] Why do you hate you.
[00:07:38] You need to kill off those who don't believe as you believe.
[00:07:42] And then you had these huge huge.
[00:07:48] Slottering of one group of blacks against another in Rwanda.
[00:07:52] Remember that were over a million blacks were slaughtered by other blacks over how they were convinced by white communists to take out their own kind kind of sounds like a to a lesser degree what's what's going on in America.
[00:08:10] You've had the white liberal professors and white liberal teachers.
[00:08:14] White white white leftist from all walks of life in the media etc.
[00:08:19] Politicians oh my gosh convincing blacks that they're nothing more than victims.
[00:08:24] As George W Bush correctly stated the racism of low expectations.
[00:08:31] And as a result of the constant drum beat to do something there are countless efforts on the way to focus attention on what poverty not solutions to poverty.
[00:08:47] Not to you know help people to help themselves oh no no no no.
[00:08:53] You got to jack them up.
[00:08:56] Americans have been so dummy down and so foolish.
[00:09:00] In recent years that they allow themselves to be chased out of their apartment buildings in Aurora Colorado.
[00:09:08] Even though more Americans Americans own more gun guns per capita than any other population in the world but yet they're afraid to protect themselves from foreign enemies because the government may come after them.
[00:09:23] Instead of the foreign invaders which the government let in.
[00:09:30] This is this is a mixed up salad.
[00:09:33] You talk about needing faith.
[00:09:38] You know this is talk about an exercise in futility here.
[00:09:42] And then you wonder why you have all these conditions not only in the United States but throughout the world and there's no excuse for the United States to have very much poverty at all.
[00:09:52] There's no excuse.
[00:09:54] And I could say the same for Great Britain and France and elsewhere.
[00:09:59] But the beat goes on on this faith the addition of the Ron Edwards American experience.
[00:10:05] Heavens to merchandise.
[00:10:07] Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuses instruction.

[00:13:09] Hello this is Mark Brumbaugh with Liberty Christian Fellowship Church.
[00:13:13] I'm the assistant pastor and you are listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience.
[00:13:24] Grab your things I'm going to take you home.
[00:13:31] Yep it's all about the food for the whole group and nothing but the truth on this.
[00:13:36] The Ron Edwards American Experience.
[00:13:37] I'm Ron Edwards and welcome to this Faith Day edition.
[00:13:40] You know Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof
[00:13:46] or abidging the freedom of speech or of the press or of the right of the people peaceably
[00:13:53] to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
[00:14:00] Well well well we have these rights but they're not being allowed today.
[00:14:07] If you dare say that you disagree with certain things the government will throw you in prison.
[00:14:14] They're coming after those who disagree with election outcomes just because you may disagree
[00:14:20] but yet if you are in league with the government and you disagree with the outcome of an election
[00:14:27] like a big mama aprams or Hillary Clinton Mrs. Clinton as I call her that's okay.
[00:14:35] Well the reason why this has become so prevalent in our society I believe is because
[00:14:41] those who supposedly stand for a more righteous standard have themselves allowed
[00:14:47] what is righteous to become insignificant in our nation because they have proudly
[00:14:55] with much vigor decided not to care about this republic and then they're running around.
[00:15:00] Oh my gosh we're coming against us.
[00:15:04] Oh let us pray.
[00:15:06] Well forget that you know what I mean sometimes I feel like you're getting what you open the door for.
[00:15:14] I'm Ron Edwards.
[00:15:17] My guest today is Mark Brumbau.
[00:15:19] Well I'm going to ask Mark does he agree with me or not?
[00:15:24] Hello Mark and welcome back.
[00:15:27] Good afternoon Ron.
[00:15:29] Thanks for having me on and it's an honor.
[00:15:33] Absolutely agree with you.
[00:15:35] What does Ephesians 6 tell us we need to gird on the belt of truth and what is the truth.
[00:15:42] It is the word of God.
[00:15:44] It's Jesus Christ his son.
[00:15:46] It's the Holy Spirit which is the spirit of truth coming to us and as the church if you don't stand on the truth
[00:15:55] you're giving away your rights and we have too many churches that are afraid to teach and preach the truth
[00:16:02] and it's let's wait.
[00:16:06] Jesus is coming back that's all we have to do.
[00:16:09] We have to live and occupy while we are in this world.
[00:16:16] Man you know I agree with you but I also will add on to your statement because and I can speak from personal observation there are churches who know the truth
[00:16:30] and they're not afraid to teach the truth.
[00:16:35] They're part of hiding the truth because they think that whatever the entity is whether it's big government or their philosophical leanings politically
[00:16:42] despite their knowledge of the word of God they boldly will be a bulwark against the full teaching of the truth.
[00:16:51] I've seen pastors become vicious over someone suggesting that the Ten Commandments be taught.
[00:17:01] Vicious over the suggestion that people come to their church because they may be in certain communities where abortion is very prevalent
[00:17:09] and slam the door in our face and said no we don't need that here.
[00:17:16] Okay it's interesting you say that Ron because last night I woke up and actually God had me just take a look at the words of Ephesians 6 but there was a word that popped into my mind at that time.
[00:17:32] It's called obfuscation and what is obfuscation?
[00:17:36] It's the act of darkening or rendering obscure.
[00:17:40] What you just explained to your audience is churches that are obfuscating the Ten Commandments which is the moral code of God.
[00:17:52] Those are our inalienable rights if you will.
[00:17:55] Those are the Ten Commandments.
[00:17:57] We have the rights not to be stolen from, lied to or about to have our possessions stolen by the government through taxation, inflation and we can go on and on on that list.
[00:18:09] And we also have the right and the obligation really in the first four commandments to worship God the way he commands that he be worshipped.
[00:18:22] And that is that he and he alone is God that we do not bow to false idols.
[00:18:28] And if you are permitting the wants and desires of the members of your congregation to direct what you teach and preach, you're not giving obedience to God's word. You're serving man.
[00:18:45] Yeah, that is so true.
[00:18:50] And boy an illustration of what you just described even though I don't consider him to be a Christian, though he calls himself a Christian, a Pope Francis.
[00:19:02] Okay and since the world looks at him as a Christian so I'll just use that as an example in that context.
[00:19:08] This guy was yesterday or earlier today.
[00:19:12] He bows down and kisses the hand of one of the top imams, Muslim imams.
[00:19:20] And he says every religion has a place in this world.
[00:19:26] And I said what an insult to common sense.
[00:19:30] What and what you know this is this and then you wonder why people are you know they they're so mixed up and they don't know nothing got that mixed up with that kind of leadership.
[00:19:43] How can you blame the people for being jacked up spiritually and intellectually.
[00:19:47] And so he's the leading most known most recognized quote unquote so called Christian leader in the world.
[00:19:58] And he says something like that.
[00:20:00] Could you imagine someone like Martin Luther.
[00:20:06] Minister Wesley of England.
[00:20:10] Charles.
[00:20:11] John Calvin.
[00:20:14] John Calvin.
[00:20:17] Even Billy Graham bowing and kissing the hand of an Islamic Imam.
[00:20:22] Give me a break.
[00:20:24] I know your answer but I want you to go through the exercise.
[00:20:28] Could you imagine any of those great men doing such a crazy thing.
[00:20:33] No, we are told that we will own your only to bow to one and that is Jesus Christ.
[00:20:40] And that is at the final judgment when all these will bow before him.
[00:20:46] We don't bow to man only to God.
[00:20:50] Amen.
[00:20:51] Well folks were in conversation with Mark Brombam he's an associate pastor and we're going to be engaging in more conversation with him.
[00:20:59] But I want to remind you of a great book that has been recently released and it's really helping folks those who choose to read it.
[00:21:08] It's called on the call on the wall.
[00:21:10] It's written by Denise Edwards who is a senior chaplain at GCU Academy.
[00:21:16] She happens to be my wife.
[00:21:18] And this book is I can tell you from observation is a labor of love but more importantly than that.
[00:21:26] It is a culmination of not only things that have happened but overcoming stories.
[00:21:35] You know overcoming things that happened and coming through the darkness and seeing the light and coming into the light of Christ even more vigorously.
[00:21:46] So folks I recommend that you go to Amazon and check out this book.
[00:21:49] And in fact you can go to on the call on the wall.com on the call on the wall.com and check out this great book.
[00:22:00] And I'm sure and I know for a fact that you will not be disappointed whatsoever.
[00:22:08] Mark I don't know real quick if you are a sports fan or not or everyone are you are yes I'm odd.
[00:22:17] I grew up a huge Pittsburgh pirate and Pittsburgh Steeler fan my family's from western central Pennsylvania originally and I grew up back when the great Roberto Clemente was the right fielder for the pirates and then the Willie Stargill team of 1979 and the four Super Bowls of the 70s.
[00:22:42] So I've been a huge sports fan most of my life.
[00:22:47] The reason why I brought that up real quick is because I've noticed when I was a little guy a little tyke in sports was it wasn't church or anything like that but it was connected to morality.
[00:23:03] And even when I got into high school which was my first foray foray into organized sports activity there was this connection again to morality discipline and the participation in sports back then it was guaranteed that you'd come out of that a better person because of the discipline
[00:23:26] and especially if you were on a good team and the camaraderie you learn to work together and this that and the other and overcoming things differences and coming together for the purpose of winning etc.
[00:23:40] Today sports is so grifted if it were by a bunch of crap that has nothing to do with greatness and making yourself into better young men etc.
[00:23:52] Anyway I want to jump in that with you a little bit Mark and some other stuff when we read the Faith Day edition of the Ron Edwards American Experience.
[00:24:10] Greetings from the pastoral splendors of the Northwest Arkansas Ozark.

[00:25:41] When the first settlers arrived in America the heavy influence of the Bible on their lives came with them.
[00:25:47] Hello I'm Ron Edwards on today's page from the Edwards Notebook for many their Christian faith was as much a part of who they were as their brave spirit was and their faith impacted everything they did.
[00:25:59] This fact stands out boldly as one sees scripture reflected in the individual colonies statements of the goal of their governments.
[00:26:06] The Rhode Island Charter of 1683 for instance simply states we submit our person lives and estates under our Lord Jesus Christ the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and to all those perfect and most absolute laws has given us in his holy word.
[00:26:21] In fact from the first colony at Jamestown to the Pennsylvania Charter of Privileges granted to William Penn in 1701 were all persons who's professing to believe in Jesus Christ the savior of the world shall be capable to serve this government in any capacity both legislatively and
[00:26:38] executively the Bible was considered the rule of life in the colonies and I firmly believe that the principles in God's holy word was the foundation of greatness which propelled the USA to a level of greatness never experienced by mankind before.
[00:26:52] If America returns to God's foundational greatness we will prevent the greatest collapse in world history.

[00:27:31] A king brings stability to a land with his justice but one who makes unjust demands brings it to ruin.
[00:27:44] Ron Edwards, the new voice of America.
[00:28:18] Separate me from your love.
[00:28:30] Yeah, this I know the king's heart is like the channel of water directed by the eternal.
[00:28:36] It chooses which way he bends it.
[00:28:39] Everyone may think his own way of living is right but the eternal examines our hearts to do what is right and to seek justice.
[00:28:47] Because these please him more than sacrifice.
[00:28:52] The lamp of the wicked lights his way.
[00:28:55] A proud look and arrogant heart all sin.
[00:28:59] A well thought out plan will work to your advantage but hasty actions will cost you dearly.
[00:29:07] I'm Ron Edwards and you are listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience.
[00:29:11] Those were the first three scriptures of Proverbs 21.
[00:29:16] Wise words.
[00:29:17] And I think that's something that we the people need to partake more of on a daily basis.
[00:29:23] As part of our daily scripture reading and studying, I think that everyone needs to also add to it a study of Proverbs.
[00:29:34] Because one thing that has happened Mark and by the way our guest today is Mark Brumbaw.
[00:29:39] And is the fact that America has seemingly said wisdom.
[00:29:46] Go away and wisdom is taken weaned and flown back to the father when it comes to this country.
[00:29:52] We have a great leader in President Trump and there are great individuals who would do wonderful things on behalf of our republic.
[00:30:01] But there's such massive opposition.
[00:30:06] And that's in every facet of life including sports.
[00:30:10] And Mark the reason why I brought up sports before the break is because so many young people are involved in sports.
[00:30:18] Maybe not as many percentage wise as it was when you and I were little guys.
[00:30:23] But still a great number of people do participate in sports.
[00:30:26] And unfortunately because of the now inclusion of wokeism in sports.
[00:30:35] You don't have the overall positive impact of sports that they used to have.
[00:30:42] And it is a shame that something so healthy and so good especially for young men is now been poisoned.
[00:30:51] And I believe I have the answer but I'd like you to explain from your vantage point how we can recapture sports for the betterment of our young men and young women in America and throughout the world.
[00:31:07] One of the ways is it's so important.
[00:31:11] It's interesting you mentioned that Ron my church we participated in the March for Jesus back in August.
[00:31:19] And the Fellowship for Christian athletes had a booth at the event and I went over and spoke with the gentleman that's running that they are really looking to establish a presence in the capital district region of New York State.
[00:31:37] I was able to have coffee with him a couple weeks back and just looking to forge our connections and provide some opportunities for him to connect with coaches.
[00:31:51] Coaches have a great influence on these young people. And if we have coaches with Christian beliefs that are knowledgeable in the word and utilize that in their teaching of their athletes, not, not preaching everything to of the word to them but just modeling that behavior before these young men or young ladies as the case may be.
[00:32:18] It's so important because sports, you're building camaraderie teams team work working together for a good an objective a purpose and having that discipline the discipline of study of the word.
[00:32:37] That if you learn so much in sports because there's practice. There is study time, there's actual drills that you need to do on your own. And these are all things that as a Christian, we should be practicing.
[00:32:55] We should be practicing ourselves in the word on a daily basis doing our workouts or preparations and that's really what an athlete is about. It's learning how to prepare your mind for each and every day.
[00:33:09] And so being prepared in the word. It teaches us to go out into the community to work in our jobs. And that's really on a physical side of things and the mental preparation athletics do that same thing and a well grounded coach can give so much of that guidance and word and just living that we have the there was the coach in
[00:33:33] Washington State that just as an example he would go out after ballgame. He would nail and pray and then the athletes on his team, he didn't force any of them but they came they took that example and they took in the ultimately he was fired.
[00:33:51] He had a case that went to the Supreme Court and ultimately he got back pay for that but still persecuted. So again, just what a great example that is living your Christian faith and not being stonewalled out of that and showing that you are that committed to Christ that you'll take a case all the way to the Supreme Court.
[00:34:16] Excellent, excellent insight. You know when back when Ali Obama was president of the United States of America, I naively thought at that time that things had gotten so bad that it would be like a slap across the face of Americans you would wake up and say oh my God we can't have this.
[00:34:35] Well here we are again. We're at a position where things are so bad but especially potentially even in other areas that have not even been revealed yet, but are there at the just at the cusp.
[00:34:54] I'm saying it again and hopefully I don't sound like an idiot. Well you know things are so bad. I hope this is like a slap across the face of America and she wakes up and pushes back.
[00:35:05] Well some people have awakened and they're willing to push back and say no to the damnation that is coming spewing forth from Kamala and and that ilk and you know Tyron.
[00:35:23] Mr. Tiny Tim, I'll just try to keep it polite here. The governor of Minnesota now the vice presidential candidate this guy I don't know if you how much you read about his background on he is so evil that his own family is saying hey America
[00:35:38] don't vote for him. Don't do it. We love him. He's our brother. He's our uncle etc. But eight members of his family are saying you know we're going to have to vote for Trump. This is this is he's too crazy. This is too bad.
[00:35:50] Now that really tells you something. That should be enough for even the most spaced out church member to say you know what maybe I should look in another direction. What say you?
[00:36:03] Oh where do you where do you start?
[00:36:06] It's the deceptions that it's you started your program off. It's you know wisdom and discernment and you just have to wonder so many people that just do not have that information that that ability I guess is a better way to say it to have wisdom and discernment to see to see.
[00:36:30] And that's just what these people are about.
[00:36:33] The overt communism where Waltz is he got married over in China his wedding is on.
[00:36:42] Sadly to say my mother's birthday was on June 4th and that was the date that walls got married and my parents anniversary happened to be on that date.
[00:36:51] Fortunately they got married well before the Tiananmen Square. But that's why Waltz picked that date that was the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre. This guy.
[00:37:02] If people don't see that that the tyranny of communism and seeing what has happened to people and the religious freedoms that are taken from people daily.
[00:37:16] You have all the. It's not a true true Christian faith but the Falun Gong and the the Uighurs over in China that are murdered for their faith and our organ harvesting and this man is supporting that if people don't do just a little bit of homework on what these people are about.
[00:37:38] They are falling into the trap of deception.
[00:37:43] As Christians we need to another word that came to me last night Ron is obvious, which is to lay down everything in its full light to remove all exceptions we need the light of the gospel the light of truth shine on things.
[00:37:59] And that's why we need to have the light of the gospel so that people discern that and if the church fails to teach the full word of God, not giving away parts of it and not adding on things that are not in scripture teaching the word of Christ and how to apply that to your
[00:38:16] lives and all the areas including civics. Then our country.
[00:38:21] I think you've said it we get what we've asked for or permitted by not standing up to it.
[00:38:29] Yeah, we are so right man there's so many other things I wanted to touch on with you but time is of the essence.
[00:38:35] Before I ask you to give us a closing prayer for this segment of the broadcast.
[00:38:42] I'd like you to tell us about an upcoming event this coming up October and how folks can get there and in all of that.
[00:38:53] Yes, we have. We will be sponsoring a conference.
[00:38:58] It's we're terming it grows conference.

[00:39:21] And we have a expert panel to come in and speak about topics of prayer.
[00:39:36] The operations really of the media which Denise Edwards will be our first speaker talking about the importance of prayer and praying for our nation.
[00:39:50] Ron Edwards host of the Ron Edwards American experience will be talking about the importance of the our American Constitution and how to conduct ourselves in this media age as part of the new.
[00:40:06] The new freedom.
[00:40:10] Media, then we will have pastor Arthur Pulaski who has suffered persecution in Canada.
[00:40:18] We have Alex Newman from from John Burke society and speaking on the Constitution we have a representative actually the executive director of the Institute on the Constitution.
[00:40:34] We have a member of our community that actually went against Planned Parenthood defended himself pro se and one for his, his efforts to stand against the abortion back in the the 80s and 90s.
[00:40:53] So we have a great panel of people that are strong in their Christian beliefs but also are standing on their faith and exercising that in the community and really showing people that it's important to not only talk about Christianity and your church and your comfort zone but to live your Christian faith out in your communities.
[00:41:16] Thank you so much for that and well before you go.
[00:41:20] As God leads you leave us with a prayer thing and when we thank you for that.
[00:41:27] Father God, we just thank you for your word your word is truth and we are in such need of the truth and these days Lord.
[00:41:35] Let us put on the full armor of God so that we operate in the truth of your word and that we utilize all areas of scripture and our lives.
[00:41:46] Lord we pray you're protecting hand around each and every one of the speakers that will come it be coming to our conference to share their wisdom, their knowledge their understanding of your word and how it applies to every aspect of life including civics.
[00:42:02] Lord open the eyes, the hearts, the minds of the people of this nation to know you to receive you and to operate in your will that your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven.
[00:42:16] We ask these blessings these protections on each and every one of the listeners.
[00:42:21] Let them know you fully Lord Jesus for it is only through you are really and truly the only hope, the only way that we can move forward.
[00:42:33] Our nation was founded as a Christian nation and these founding principles are so important to us and we need to operate on those foundational principles to remain free.
[00:42:45] We ask this in your loving name and all God's people say amen.
[00:42:50] Amen.

[00:46:00] This is Lisa K and I enjoy the Ron Edwards American Experience.
[00:46:22] This is the Ron Edwards American Experience FAT day edition.
[00:46:25] I'm Ron Edwards and thanks again to our guests Mark Brumbagh who was visiting with us for a short time and he certainly will be back in the not too distant future.
[00:46:37] Thanks again to him.
[00:46:39] You know I was looking at a column by a gentleman his name is coach Dave Dobbemiere and he writes for News with Views and he's talking about in this particular column that I'm focused on today.
[00:46:51] He says that the Republican Party has taken the pro life plank out of their party platform.
[00:46:58] He says it comes as no surprise as a guy who has spent countless hours on the streets defending the pro abortion children.
[00:47:06] This change in policy came as no surprise to him.
[00:47:10] The Republican Party has been pro life with exceptions for as long as he could remember.
[00:47:17] And you know he's like me is pro life it's etc.
[00:47:23] But I'm kind of in a tug of war and maybe you guys can help me out on this.
[00:47:29] Whenever someone runs for office and they come out with a blanket statement they're totally pro life no exceptions.
[00:47:41] Yada yada yada.
[00:47:43] They always lose when even among Christians so called conservatives they lose.
[00:47:52] So when President Trump said yeah I'm pro life but yeah I think we should have abortion or allow abortions to save the life of the mother or in the case of rape and incest.
[00:48:09] And in fact incest in my opinion is a form of rape.
[00:48:13] But anyway I who am totally pro life and I'm also an observing individual.
[00:48:24] And for some reason I just don't understand it when you come out pro life all the way even amongst conservative voters you lose.
[00:48:35] So I came to the conclusion some time ago that you know how America became pro death pro abortion etc.
[00:48:49] Here's the thing it is my humble opinion that we the people who love life liberty in the pursuit of happiness etc etc have to take back the issue bit by bit by bit.
[00:49:07] And that's how the leftist gain control of this country they didn't just come out wamo in the beginning we're just totally pro communist and this is what we're going to do.
[00:49:19] No they came out incrementally and that includes the area of abortion.
[00:49:24] And I think sometimes wisdom has to be allowed to play in this battle for life reestablishing life in America as a concept.
[00:49:39] And that is we have to battle back incrementally because there are far too many Americans who have been brainwashed and not only the abortion issue but on many issues just about all issues.
[00:49:50] And when you stand totally right on any issue you're going to have a hard time.
[00:49:57] And I'm not saying you should compromise your values or anything like that but you look at it like a war in fact it is a war it's a spiritual war.
[00:50:07] And I think that many times we end up losing the war because we're not willing to fight the battles incrementally to take back the territory.
[00:50:21] Never if you study any major warfare go all the way back to the Roman Empire.
[00:50:27] I mean the Romans were they were fantastic when it came to battle planning in fact to this very day many modern nations in their army study Roman tactics.
[00:50:42] But anyway your greatest victories come with incremental fighting because they couldn't bite off all the land at once and defeating Hitler.
[00:50:58] They didn't bite off the entire war at once in defeating Japan.
[00:51:03] No they didn't.
[00:51:05] The Chinese didn't take over the United States which they have basically in one fell swoop.
[00:51:11] No it was done gradually with the help of insiders like Uncle Joe Biden.
[00:51:17] And I think we need to I don't know if we need to exercise a lot of patience but we need to exercise a lot of wisdom as we are in these battles.
[00:51:27] The church went to sleep snored out loud OK and allowed this crap to happen.
[00:51:37] And for those who observed this and are now squawking about oh we've got to just come out a certain way.
[00:51:46] Well if more Americans were not if so many Americans were not indoctrinated in the manner in which they are that would be that would be great.
[00:51:58] But I think we have to be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove when it comes to these kind of issues in battles.
[00:52:06] You know if you get into the ring and you're boxing one thing we were taught is you take the first round you take the first one in you know round to study your opponent.
[00:52:22] You know make certain moves see what he will do how he will move here and there.
[00:52:26] And by the second or third round you've got it down and you can you can pop them.
[00:52:31] But if you came straight out sometimes unless you he's just not that good and you just come out there and bam I'll go Joe Lewis on him.
[00:52:39] And knock him out but that's not usually the case and that's not the case now when it comes to these issues.
[00:52:46] I just thought I'd share that thought with you and you can take that with it.
[00:52:51] You know you can agree or not agree but I think that is a bit of wisdom for we the people.
[00:52:58] I'm Ron Edwards and I thank you so much for joining me on this edition of the Ron Edwards American Experience.
[00:53:05] EWD, EWD, EWD, EWD, EWD, that's all folks.
[00:53:09] Tags that stage right to now.
[00:53:12] And now that I see that my time is up, thank you so much for your time.
[00:53:15] And remember to pray for your nation, pray for your family, your friends and even pray
[00:53:20] for your enemies.
[00:53:21] And don't forget to treat others the same way you would want to be treated.
[00:53:26] And remember, even though this is faith, that you should exercise your faith every
[00:53:29] single day in the one Jesus Christ.
[00:53:32] I'm Ron Edwards.
[00:53:34] Bye now.
