Hi, I'm Pastor Pete Cunningham from Lancashire's Lighthouse Radio Ministries in the UK.
[00:00:29] And you're listening to The Ron Edwards American Experience, Episode 1200. On with the show, this is it! And away we go!
[00:00:49] Say A, say M, say E, say R, say I, say C, say A.
[00:01:10] Ladies and gentlemen, it's the Ron Edwards American Experience Talk Show, where our unalienable rights are celebrated. And now, your radio refreshment, Ron Edwards.
[00:01:52] Well, good day, good day, hello and how are you? I'm Ron Edwards and welcome to the Faith Day edition of the Ron Edwards American Experience. And thanks so much for tuning in from throughout America and around the world. Glad to have you as we blow away the myths and reveal the truth. Today, our guest is Peter Cunningham. He's with Lighthouse Ministries of Great Britain, and we will be talking with him in just a few moments.
[00:02:19] You know, the proposed increase of anti-Semitism on colleges, I'm sorry, at colleges and at universities, I think it's great and should be maintained. But an anti-stupidity or indoctrination effort should also be considered as well in the effort to restore both common decency and common sense, as well as a higher degree of good education throughout our republic.
[00:02:51] See, because if you don't have indoctrination, you won't have things like anti-Semitism and, you know, wokeism and DEI and CRT and all of these other things that have permeated what is supposed to be education throughout our republic and also the church. Oh, yeah, we're going to be getting into that a little bit.
[00:03:12] And there's some issues that we're going to be talking with our guest about, particularly centered around Europe, where Nigel Farage, he said that politicians are all wankers, or at least a lot of them anyway.
[00:03:28] I am very happy with the effort that Elon Musk and other folks are dealing with, you know, getting rid of the waste, wanting to pull the cover of the curtain and expose the tremendous waste by the trillions of dollars in this great government of ours.
[00:03:49] But yet the Democrats are suffering from mental illness of mental crisis simply because inquiring minds want to know so that we can clean up the mess.
[00:04:00] Now, if the Democrats and rhinos were not guilty of wrongdoing, if there was nothing to hide, especially for people that have been there a long time, like Schumer, Nasty Pelosi, and, you know, rhinos like Deputy Drupalong, McConnell, Mitch McConnell, and all those others, you know, most of them.
[00:04:27] Maxine Waters, she's scary, man. She starts talking on the TV screen. One time I turned it on and her face showed up and the screen cracked. I mean, it was awful. Had to go get a new screen. Just right away. We just bought that thing too. You know, now, to show you how crazy and wicked people are,
[00:04:57] you've got CNN senior political commentator and former Ali Obama advisor, David Axelrod, said today that President Donald Trump, his cuts in the USAID were stupid and more radical than any spending.
[00:05:16] They're so stupid that Hungary's president says that he is going to disengage from collecting any funds that come through that particular organization. No more USAID directly from that, you know, that particular strain of organization. And so they don't even want to be bothered with it.
[00:05:47] And other countries are also beginning to scratch their heads and say, you know what? Maybe we don't need this either. And a lot of the money, by the way, from this USAID, most of it was never reaching the poor people it was supposedly designated to reach.
[00:06:10] It was for transgender parties or dances, dance lessons in one country, pushing certain ideologies in other countries. Horrible things they were pushing throughout Africa. Nigeria comes to mind. To the tune of billions and billions and billions of our tax dollars. But yet, they don't want to cut that out.
[00:06:39] See, if you were to cut out all this wasteful USAID spending, get rid of the Department of Education, get rid of the IRS because all you need to do is have a sales tax system. And therefore, taxes are automatically collected via sales tax. You know, people act like, oh, my God, if you get rid of the IRS, you can't collect any more taxes. Well, that is a big fat lie.
[00:07:09] Because all you have to do is put it into a sales tax system and it's automatically collected because taxes are already automatically collected without any problem via the sales taxes we already have. And trust me, if you get rid of the income tax and property taxes and just engage with a sales tax system, guess what would happen? Much more money would be coming in.
[00:07:41] More than you need. And so those people that are in the IRS that are sent out to persecute small business owners, homeowners, etc., they would no longer be needed. They'd have to go get better jobs, different jobs. See, there's some things that should be cut out and that are no longer needed. But see, the people know this. They know this.
[00:08:09] But the reason why they don't want to get rid of these kinds of things, they don't want transparency about how our money is spent. Because they don't want to cut. Yet these same people who are willing to continue to waste billions of dollars around the country to teach transgender people how to do the cha-cha-cha, they turn around and say, oh, you know what?
[00:08:35] There's not $5 billion available to build a wall at our southern border where 20 million people came into our country over the last four years. So anyone that has a decent mindset and understands that, you know, it would be better behoove our country to do the right thing and wants the right things for our republic, they should not and would not have a problem with this.
[00:09:02] But those who are going to Nutsville, they're going into the streets and protesting and threatening this, threatening that. They're saying that they should go out and start fights, that they should do this, do that, make life difficult for us. I mean, don't the Democrats already? That's all they have ever done.
[00:09:20] Ever since I have observed Democrats, since I was a little boy, every time I looked into their activities and waited to see the outcomes, whatever they touched and whatever they got heavily involved with always got worse. Always. There was only one or two exceptions. One or two.
[00:09:49] Man, and that's a shame. And that was a local politician. Where I grew up in Cleveland. He was the president of the Cleveland City Council, George Forbes. And he said, you know what? It is common sense to cut taxes and to deregulate so that we can have businesses growing again in Cleveland. And people were so shocked. That it was printed in Forbes magazine.
[00:10:18] That a Democrat would say something like that. But anyway, I can't think of the other time because. You know, Democrats so rarely come up with good ideas. And if they did, I'd remember them because they would be rare. But anyway, we've got someone here with us who has a lot of good ideas. And we're going to be talking with him about that when we return on this, the Ron Edwards American Experience Faith Day edition. Heavens to Murgatroyd.
[00:10:47] The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. But fools despise wisdom and instruction. The Ron Edwards American Experience. A charter member of the emerging new mainstream media.

[00:13:27] Save the dark like me. The great Johnny Cash singing Amazing Grace.
[00:13:57] And you're listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience. I'm Ron Edwards and welcome to Faith Day. Let's welcome Peter Cunningham of Great Britain. And he's a minister and he's a minister. And he's a broadcaster and he's an all-around good guy. And there's some serious things going on in your neck of the woods, sir. And welcome back. And one thing, Peter, I wanted to bring up to you right away. And we've touched on this in the past about how so often in the church,
[00:14:26] there is not a proper standing up for what is right. I'll give you an example. A lady named Gozen Soydag from North London launched legal action against St. Anne's Catholic High School for Girls for wrongful dismissal, harassment, discrimination, and breaches of her human rights on the grounds of her Christian beliefs.
[00:14:49] Now, I find that kind of ironic because Gozen's social media accounts were censored by the school before she was sacked on her birthday in order to leave the school premises without any pay. She still does not know what she did wrong to warrant being dismissed. She wanted to work in the education sector and make an impact for young people. This was a Catholic school and they knew that she was passionate about her faith. in Jesus Christ.
[00:15:19] The school's building is in the shape of the cross and every classroom had a cross and Bible verses on the walls. This was a place where she believed that they accepted Jesus Christ. But when she spoke about him, she was dismissed. I think this is pretty shameful when you consider even in a Catholic setting that someone be dismissed for simply mentioning or promoting Jesus Christ.
[00:15:46] For without him, we are not. What say you, Peter? It's a very interesting story, that, isn't it? Yeah. I was brought up in the Catholic faith. And I think... See, it's a tough one for me. And I'm just going to say it how I see it. And people might be offended. And do you know what? It's not my problem if they are.
[00:16:16] Catholics and Christians, we have a different take on Scripture, don't we? You know, I believe my relationship is directly with Jesus. Catholics seem to have this perspective that your relationship with Jesus is through the priest. And therefore, the differences from there on in just get even more so. So, I think for a Christian lady to be sacked from a Catholic church...
[00:16:46] You know what? I'm almost not surprised by it, to be honest. And I think, yes, she needs to take this further because... I mean, it could be seen as a form of discrimination. It could be seen as a form of even racism. I mean, what is racism these days? I mean, I read recently that being a Muslim now is a race.
[00:17:16] I thought it was a faith. But there we go. That's how crazy the world's getting. It's getting worse on a daily basis. And quite often, a bit tongue-in-cheek. You know, it's a, hey, hey, Lord, I'm ready. Call my name. Call my name. I'm ready. I find it all crazy, Ron. Completely crazy. I'm ready to get off.
[00:17:43] You know, another person who might be ready to get off is Bernard Randall. Now, he was recently dismissed from his role as school chaplain and reported to the government's terrorist watchdog, prevent for a sermon that he gave at a school on identity politics. Supported by the Christian Legal Center, Reverend Dr. Bernard Randall, a former chaplain of Christ College, Cambridge,
[00:18:10] is taking Trent College to court for discrimination, harassment, victimization, and unfair dismissal after the school reported him without his knowledge to the government, anti-terror watchdog prevent for a sermon that he gave at the school on identity politics. The incident occurred way back in 2019, and Dr. Randall has not given a sermon or been able to work in Christian ministry ever since.
[00:18:39] A situation he is continuing to challenge. Now, this is even, in my humble opinion, Pete, more retarded than the previous story in the Catholic Church. This is in a Christian setting. Not a Catholic setting, not a government setting, but a Christian setting. And all he is focusing on here, and what got him into hot water, was identity.
[00:19:04] And he, like you and I, understands that we are either male, we are either female, and it is not our job to tolerate LGBT ideology. We are not to bring that into the Word of God because some other freak people want that in there.
[00:19:28] And, you know, if they want to live that lifestyle and Christ cannot reach them or they reject Christ, they should be allowed to go and live their way. But they should not be allowed through the government to sack a man because he's simply speaking up for the principles that are inculcated in the Word of God, which plainly states either you're a man or woman, and that's it. Oh, I'm sorry.
[00:19:57] You're born a boy, and you're born a girl, and you grow into a man or a woman. It's that simple. But yet because he stood on that principle in a Christian setting now, of all places, he's in big heapum trouble there in jolly old England. I mean, things are bad enough here in the United States. I mean, we're not that far behind, but this is really, this takes the cake. And, I mean, this is awful. Yeah, yeah.
[00:20:25] Listen, when an individual is writing a sermon, you know, God's Word is paramount. It is. There's nothing above it. Nothing. I mean, to be fair, I've upset a few people myself with sermons that I've delivered. But, you know, I base everything on God's Word. I stand by God's Word. And if someone's got a problem with the truth of Scripture,
[00:20:55] then, you know, they need to assess where they are in their walk. If this guy has delivered a sermon in a church, so you expect, you know, Christian people to be there. But I suppose, you know what, here's where we're at now. People are going to church now. What for? What are they there for? Are they there to be entertained? Are they there because it's something to do with a Sunday morning?
[00:21:23] Are they there to actually look for trouble? You know, there's a possibility. You know, I remember a wonderful brother who we both know, who was delivering a sermon. And there was an individual within the congregation who'd actually gone with the hope that this wonderful brother was going to say something offensive. So, I mean, that, I think, tells you a lot about where we are
[00:21:53] within our church setting. And just as a bit of a sideline and just a bit of a chuckle for you here. So, one of my children has got special needs and he ascends a special needs school. And they were learning to draw using AI. And because he doesn't speak, my son, he was allowed to type into the search engine a description of what he wanted to draw.
[00:22:22] Now, I'll not tell you what he put in just yet. However, when I went picking him up, I was asked if I could go into the school. Somebody needed to speak to me. Something had flagged up on the internet system within the school. And if there was anything that I need to tell them. And I'm like, man, I don't, what are you waiting? What are you looking for?
[00:22:48] And this person said, well, something flagged up on the system. Your son wrote how to blow up the school in the search engine. And I said, yeah, he doesn't like school. Well, I just wondered if there was anything you need to tell us, you know, with today's world. And I'm saying, I said, just spit it out. Are you saying that I'm a terrorist? Oh, my goodness. We're not saying that.
[00:23:16] I said, well, what's the basis of the question? He's 11-year-old. He's got special needs. And he does not like school. I said, unless you're going to take it any further, I'm going. Bye. And we just walked off. You know, and that was a crazy situation. But I get in this context where people are now. People are just, they're so, what's the phrase we're throwing around now?
[00:23:45] He's wokeism, isn't it? Wokeists. You know, and these lot just need to crawl back under the stone they come out from. They're serving no purpose. All they do is he's frustrated, they annoy people. And, you know, I do believe in freedom of speech, even if that freedom of speech is against me. You know, but then we're throwing out all these censorship laws and banning people from social media. Ms. Jack, you know, people are going to have to hold it right there.
[00:24:14] And folks, you're listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience Faith Day Edition. We'll be right back with our guest, Peter Cunningham from Great Britain, right after this. This is Amy Howell. And you're listening to Ron Edwards' 1200th episode. The Ron Edwards American Experience talk show, where our unalienable rights are celebrated. You're going to be called crazy. Many people also called Noah crazy. And then the rains came. And all the fact checkers died.
[00:24:46] When it comes to the founding of the United States of America, it may be shocking to most Christians today, but it was New England ministers who played a key role in rallying support for war against the tyranny of King George. Hello, I'm Ron Edwards. On today's page from the Edwards Notebook, ministers pressed their congregations to overthrow King George because they believed that rebellion against tyrants was obedience to God.
[00:25:11] From many pulpits, ministers recruited troops and strengthened them for battle. Those church leaders knew that the Bible places great emphasis on due submission to civil authorities, but they also noted that many passages approve resistance to ungodly authority. It is therefore no coincidence that one of the slogans of the American revolutions was, no king but King Jesus. Most of the patriots, including men of the cloth,
[00:25:39] found in their faith and in God's word the courage to risk their lives and properties in order to break the tyranny of an unjust human authority. The ministers of the revolution understood that freedom and liberty emanate from freedom in Christ and the principles emanated in the word of God. I pray the ministers of today will stand for true liberty in Christ and in America. I'm Ron Edwards.

[00:28:27] Absolutely. You're listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience. Welcome back, folks. I'm Ron Edwards. Our guest today is Peter Cunningham of Lancashire's Lighthouse Radio Ministries. And before we get back to our guest, you know, President Trump met with Japanese Prime Minister Eshiba today. And they held a news conference together.
[00:28:49] And President Trump announced that the Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Eshiba, that Nippon Steel would invest in United States Steel of Pittsburgh, not own it, though. But questions are still lingering about the deal. And I think that's a good thing to happen, that I don't mind investing, but Nippon Steel should not own the largest steel producer in the United States of America.
[00:29:19] They want to invest and help out. So be it. But ownership? No way, Jose. We need to own our own stuff so we can make our own stuff and be independent as a nation. Well, let's return in conversation with our guest, Peter Cunningham. You know, Pete, the reason why I brought up those two negative stories, because it's so indicative of what we're seeing in the church.
[00:29:49] And the church, my friend, is seemingly lacking behind the political movement. And what do you mean by that, Ron? Well, what I mean is that in the political movement in the United States of America, there is a huge backlash against the evil that is destroying, literally destroying this country.
[00:30:13] And when I say the church, I mean the church leaders, the big time in their own mind preachers, not the laymen, not the heroes that have been praying for a turnaround in our country. I just want to make sure that I make that point. But I'm talking about those who are in the positions of authority, the ones who are supposedly giving the message of God should be leading, should be leading.
[00:30:39] But in my humble opinion, the real leaders are the prayer warriors, because they're the only ones in the entire church world that is positively impacting our societies, whether it's here in the United States of America or where you are in Great Britain. What say you, sir? Yeah, it's a good point. And I think you're right that the prayer warriors are the ones making the difference. And, you know, a thought occurred to me when I was listening to you then
[00:31:07] about some of the leaders. Let's, for argument's sake, say a pastor or a minister of a church. Now, I've seen this, so I'm trying to be very careful what I say, which is a first. When you've got a pastor who, let's say, for argument's sake, in Britain,
[00:31:32] who's on 30, 40,000 pounds a year, say 30 to 40,000 pounds a year, that person is going to be very, very careful what they say. Because, well, quite simply, let's say they offend a huge body of people with something they preach or something they say, whether it be from a pulpit or not. Let's say they get sacked.
[00:32:01] Or let's say they are removed from office, shall we say. That is a lot of money they've just lost. So maybe, just maybe, when that individual's on that sort of salary, maybe they can't say what they want to. You see, unlike me from a pulpit, I mean, I pastor Victory Biker Church here in Lancashire.
[00:32:30] I'm not often that careful on what I say, because, as I said, I preach the gospel. I preach what the Bible says. I don't have any, although I'm accountable to other people, I'm not afraid of speaking the truth. I'm not afraid of losing out on a salary. Well, a volunteer for a start.
[00:32:54] But a paid position, maybe, maybe they're just fearful, scared of losing that job. So they're not going to say anything. They're going to tickle people's ears every Sunday with a lightweight, 10-minute, sugar-coated gospel. You know, and as you say, the prayer warriors, the people who really have nothing to lose, shall we say,
[00:33:19] they're the ones who are spending hours and hours in a time of prayer for the leadership. But as it is, the leadership just might be in fear of losing the job. Maybe that's the problem. Yeah, but you know what else is a problem? You can look at it from the other side. You know, you can flip that coin over and say, well, you know what?
[00:33:48] There would be a lot more people here if he were telling the truth. And there would definitely be a lot more men in church if the truth was spoken more fluently and more often, because men are more logical, by the way. And if we hear something that is concrete and true, we become more connected with that. And we stick around and we push hard for that truth. But see, either way, you're going to lose a lot of people.
[00:34:18] And I would rather be on the side of eloquently telling the truth and bringing in those who want to circle around the truth. Then when you pray, you pray based upon the truth and knowledge, which makes you even more powerful than just in some cases I've seen in the past, people just blindly praying for the leaders. Oh, Lord, bless the leaders. Oh, Lord Jesus. And I'm like, what? Bless them.
[00:34:48] Why? They're killing our nation. Why do you want them blessed? Well, we're to pray for our leaders, but not in stupidity, not in ignorance. And so I think in the long run, if a guy is a minister of a church like you, and he's not afraid of telling the truth, I think in time, I believe, you can correct me if I'm wrong, that God will honor that
[00:35:15] because doesn't God ultimately want the truth to reach the people? Well, in order for the truth to reach the people, someone has to speak it. And God has to bless that person to be able to continue to speak it. And I think if more and more Christians push back, just like you have the liars pushing all over the place, the Muslims, they block up your Piccadilly Circus or East London or wherever, they decide to plop down and bump their heads on the cement.
[00:35:44] And they have their way. Why? Because they pushed hard. They acted crazy. I think we on our side need to be as spiritually crazy as they are in the natural. But standing on truth and knowledge, because knowledge is power. What say you? Yeah. I'm right there in the fact, you know, I can only speak personally.
[00:36:10] And I am, I'm not afraid to speak the truth at all. And, you know, when we started Victory Biker Church here in Lancashire, very quickly, we grew to some form of, I might be using this phrase incorrectly. So we grew in notoriety because we were speaking the truth. We were, you know, people, because of where we are based, we have a massive LGBT community.
[00:36:37] And, you know what, they come to Victory Biker Church in Lancashire. They are welcome with open arms. They are welcome with love. But they are taught the truth. You know, I've had some wonderful conversations with people from this community. And some will just shake their head and walk off and say, you hate me. And I say, actually, you're wrong there. You are loved. But do you know what? My Bible tells me this.
[00:37:06] And when you go home and, well, I'm trying to be careful what I say here, and play your games when you're bent over a table, do you know what? That's wrong. My Bible tells me that's wrong. Man does not lie with man as he lies with woman. He lies with woman for the act of procreation. That's what my Bible tells me. So I don't know where you've been, brother, but what you're doing is wrong. But you are loved. So don't you dare walk out of here saying you're hated and you're not welcome.
[00:37:36] And that can sound rather abrupt. But what I found with this particular community and probably others is that they are, in fact, they're almost enemy because they're looking for trouble. And the truth has to be told. And, yeah, has it caused us some notoriety? Yes, it has. But do you know what?
[00:37:57] I believe it's caused us to get under people's skin because what we're actually doing is the right thing that many of our churches fail to even discuss or even address with members of their current congregation. It's a massive problem here where we are based. And it needs to be hit head on. Just like I don't know, just like a steam train. And I'm happy to do that.
[00:38:27] And if it rustles feathers and causes offense to some, then so be it, because it's not me. They've got the problem with it's the it's the truth. The word of God is very simple in that particular area. And I'm not going to I'm going to carry on, you know, trying, not trying to convert people per se. But you hear the truth, brother or sister.
[00:38:54] You decide whether you want to be part of that truth and have your, you know, forever in heaven days or carry on and go to and go to hell. That's your two options. Now, I want to see you in heaven. I don't want you to go to hell. But if you're not going to change your ways, then I'm afraid that's where you're heading. Amen. So, yeah, it's good. I enjoy it. Yeah.
[00:39:23] You know, like you said, man should not bend over a table. Folks, you're listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience Fate Day Edition. I'm Ron Edwards. We'll be right back after this. This is Patrick Colbeck. And you're listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience.

[00:42:11] The Ron Edwards American Experience. A charter member of the emerging new mainstream media. Is not the biggest, but your voices and actions are. So don't give up. This is Bernadette Smith and I'm with the Michigan GOP. And you're listening to the Ron Edwards America Experience.
[00:42:37] Well, we're back. This is the Ron Edwards American Experience, a fake day edition. Real quick before we get back to our guest. He was going so good before the break and I wanted to, before releasing him, for him to give us a parting prayer. But this just released.
[00:43:07] It says here, newly leaked CIA files prove that John F. Kennedy's assassination was an inside job. Hmm. The coup is exposed. And there's going to be some videos coming out and proving the truth is darker than we thought. We'll be getting more into that probably next week on the Ron Edwards American Experience. But back to our guest, Peter Cunningham. Pete, I know I held you over longer than I normally do, but you were on a roll there.
[00:43:35] And just before you leave us, I would love for you to leave us with a prayer as is our tradition. Yeah, that's not a problem at all. That's wonderful. Yes. Yes. Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for this opportunity to speak to brothers and sisters throughout the world.
[00:43:56] Lord, and that we pray that whatever you've given us to say cuts deep with some people and gives them the boldness and the courage to speak the gospel, to speak your truth to everybody who listen, Lord. Lord, and we come before you with our governments, Lord.
[00:44:15] Lord, you know, in the US we've got President Trump now and here in the UK, Lord, we've got Mr. Starmer and, oh, Lord, we need more people of faith in politics. I know the two often don't go hand in hand. But in this case, Lord, to lead our governments, we need people of faith. And not just any faith, but faith in you, faith in the one, the only, the true living God.
[00:44:45] Because that is where people will thrive. That is where people will learn. That is where people will come together in unity when they see our governments fighting for us. And not for evil and not for just to cause trouble between people. Lord, it's a strange world we're living in now. And I just hope and I offer this prayer to you.
[00:45:15] Just, Lord, have your way. Have your way with these politicians. Have your way with us. And allow us to get on in freedom to spread the gospel of your son, Jesus Christ. And that what he did was for everybody, Lord. Not just a chosen few. But for everybody that they might come and know him as Lord and Saviour.
[00:45:42] And that they can thrive in a country where we are not persecuted. So, Lord, I offer this prayer. Be blessed, Lord, as you bless us and love us. In the precious name of your son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen. Amen. Thank you so much, sir. And, man, as always, it's a treat when you visit with us. And we thank you so much. And, man, keep doing what you're doing, Pete.
[00:46:12] And God bless you. And God bless Great Britain. Well, folks, all scripture is given by inspiration from God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. So it says in 2 Timothy 3, verse 16. Something horrible has been happening in many of our churches, not all. And only the people can put a stop to it. That's you and I.
[00:46:40] We are attempting to grow churches, or some people are attempting to grow churches. But they're neglecting the word of God and have done so for quite a long time and not following the pattern for Christianity that God has ordained in his word. Today, many lying pastors have been leading our nation into futility.
[00:47:02] These lying and deceived, positive, ear-tickling pastors are preaching another Jesus, lying to us that we don't have to deal with our sins. That it's okay to have socialism. It's okay to approve of unnatural lifestyles, or as Peter Cunningham says, to bend over the table.
[00:47:25] The cross that Jesus Christ died on is all about sin and the cleansing power of his blood and the healing power of his blood as well. God is a divine owner, and it is becoming evident that these pastors' deviation from God's order is producing a dead religion that makes no sense or is simply, to put it kindly, a waste of time. It's not vibrant. It's void of life.
[00:47:54] And, well, so here we are. But the good news is that there are a growing number of people that have become discontented with such developments and are turning away from that and turning more fervently to the actual word of God and are finding ministers that are not afraid to tell the truth no matter what.
[00:48:18] Just as I believe that will have a positive impact on our republic and maybe soon on Great Britain and other nations around the world, like Hungary, Poland, Argentina, other nations where there is continued growing discontentment with socialism, unnatural lifestyles, tyranny, etc.
[00:48:43] And the lying pastors may soon find themselves out of business because they have no moral authority to grow churches according to the word of God. And they would be better to be out of business and repent and not be responsible for the decades of lies that they've been, lies rather, they have been spewing forth.
[00:49:11] Without the word of God serving as a reflection of the sin in our lives, our altars in our churches will remain cold. And that is why the church altar is collecting dust in some cases, not the repentance of sinful Christians. It is the preaching of the word of God and the stirring of conviction by Holy Spirit that the cry of repentance in the hearts of the Christian that calls the fire of God to fall upon our altars.
[00:49:40] And one of the things that is so wonderful about the word of God, it tells us to repent. And not long ago in our own nation of the United States, there was a nationwide day of repentance. It was on a Saturday. It was headquartered in Washington, D.C., the nation's capital. And millions of people that day, including yours truly and my wife, we repented for the sins of America.
[00:50:09] Things that we did ourselves that negatively impacted our nation. Because individually and collectively, we've all helped to open the door to many of the wicked things that have gone on in our respective countries. And so by repentance, what did God say that he would do? He would hear from heaven our prayers. He would hear our repentance.
[00:50:36] He would forgive us and heal our land. And I believe that the land of America will be soon healed. But we have to keep up, not only repenting, but also turning away from wicked ways. And we have to forcibly turn our country away from these wicked ways. Well, how do we do that? One of the ways is making sure that we force the proper education of our children. It begins at home, folks.
[00:51:06] Schooling technically begins at home. Then, as the children go out, make sure that the schools properly teach our students. That is one of the reasons why I am very much in support of President Trump's effort to denationalize education.
[00:51:30] And turn the responsibility of education back to the local centers, back to the states, back to the cities, back to the communities, and most importantly, back to the parents. Who should gladly take on that responsibility? Because ultimately, we as parents are responsible for the direction that the children take. So, it's up to us.
[00:51:57] If it is to be, it will be. But it's up to us. We do the work. We do the prayer. And God will do the blessing. Now that I see that my time is up, thank you so much for joining me on this edition of the Ron Edwards American Experience Faith Day Edition. That's all, folks. To exit stage right.
[00:52:27] Yep. And as I always say at this time, remember, my friends, to pray for your nation. Pray for your family. Pray for your friends. And even pray for your enemies that they get it right before it's too late. And always, treat others the same way you would want to be treated. That's common sense. I'm Ron Edwards. Until next time, bye now.
[00:52:49] I've been told you a blessing to everyone.
