[00:00:03] And away we go. Say A, say A, say A, say A, say A, say A, say A, say A.
[00:00:26] Ladies and gentlemen, it's the Ron Edwards American Experience Talk Show, where our unalienable rights are celebrated. And now, your radio refreshment, Ron Edwards.
[00:00:39] Good day, good day, hello and how are you? I'm Ron Edwards and you are listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience Talk Show. It's great to be back with you. Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
[00:01:09] And life is good, at least for most of us, including more and more New York City residents. According to recent stories, according to Mayor Adams, they are boasting about the lowest number of shootings and murders in recorded history in New York City over the span of the past five months.
[00:01:32] Fox News reports from January 1st through May 31st of this year, there were 264 recorded shootings and 112 homicides. The previous lows were 267 shootings in 2018 and 113 homicides in 2014 and 2017. And for a city of that size, that is huge.
[00:01:58] Now, the month of May also saw historic lows for both categories with 54 shootings and 18 homicides. And I shouldn't say that's huge. Actually, that's very small amount for a city of that size. And that's good news. On the surface, I mean, any time you read about or you hear about a reduction in crime, you're very happy to hear it.
[00:02:27] But who gets the credit for this? Now, I know that the city government of New York City is taking credit. They're thumping their little chest and saying, hey, look at what we've done. It is our policies that have cleaned up the Big Apple. And I'm one who says, oh, not so fast. Because before January 1st or before President Trump took office, guess what? Crime was all over the place. The city was a lot dirtier than it is now.
[00:02:55] Even the streets are being cleaned up to a degree. And things are looking better. But is it because of the local government's massive efforts all of a sudden? Are criminals actually being locked up on the local side? I don't think so. Because the officials that were letting criminals go before Trump took office, they're still there.
[00:03:19] But what I think it is, is because of the Trump administration clamped down on illegal border crossers. And they know that they'll get locked up and taken away and shipped out of the country. And so I think a lot of them are laying low. And yes, a lot of them are being hauled away, too, which is a very good thing.
[00:03:42] And I think and because of the fact that the I'll say well over half of all the horrible crimes in New York City over the past four years under Uncle Joe were being committed by illegal border crossers. And so I think we need to give credit where credit is due. And I think, in my humble opinion, it's more due towards the efforts of the Trump administration and good folks like Tom Holman,
[00:04:10] Kristi Noem, people that mean what they say and say what they mean when it comes to these illegal border crossers, these international lawbreakers that were allowed into our government and into our country rather to the tune of at least, and I say at least 20 million. I think it's well over that when you consider all the illegals that have been allowed in our country over the past several years beyond the past four.
[00:04:40] And so it's a good thing that crime is down in New York City, one of my favorite places on the entire planet. But if they see if the local officials there were smart and if they really gave a darn. They would change their laws and the voters there would sweep out that city council, that city council of New York City is awful.
[00:05:07] They are just as bad, if not worse, than Congress. I mean the things that the New York City City Council wants to, you know, wants to enact on behalf of criminals, both foreign and domestic, it's just horrible, horrifying. In fact, the city council members of New York City, they don't even want you to call criminals, criminals anymore.
[00:05:37] They don't want them as they would say misidentified. Because they don't want possibly the public ire to be brought against a thug. They don't want thugs to have bad names. It just shows you how little, what, you know, how little they think of their constituents. And that, I think, is even, if not as criminal, even more criminal than the thugs running around in the streets.
[00:06:09] Well, what does Sesame Street, Major League Baseball, the WNBA, and the National Football League all have in common? Well, I'll give you a hint. It's a five-letter word.
[00:06:31] It's a word that I've come to detest because of the putrid nature of what it has become. And that's because of pride. Now, you know, the Bible talked about pride as, you know, being too egotistical. They talked about pride coming before fall, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
[00:06:58] Well, you know, in recent years, pride also means something else. The worship of unnatural activities, which are even more unhealthy than cigarette smoking. So now you have Major League Baseball, the WNBA, which is basically a league of lesbians.
[00:07:18] All but 12 of the National Football League teams are worshiping at the, you know, the statue of prideism, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Now, that activity should have nothing to do with children.
[00:07:36] And since sports does, I find it very insulting to meld the two together because of immoral adults who have gone to Nutsville and others who are too cowardice to tell them, no, go away.
[00:07:56] Go fool around in your closets or wherever you want to go, but you will not putrefy all of society, especially where there's a lot of family and children focus. And I think we in this society talk about cleaning up. This is one of the areas we need to go. And it's funny. The Bible says pride cometh, goeth before fall.
[00:08:19] I believe this is part of it, too, because nothing good comes out of any nation in the history of the world. Once they became once they normalized these unnatural activities, they fell. Go back to Rome. Oh, my God. The first democracy. Greece. Look at the history of the Byzantine Empire.
[00:08:48] Look what happened to Alexander the Great and his empire. Once what is labeled today as pride became nationalized, those nations crumbled away. And they still exist. I mean, Greece is still there, but she's no longer a great nation. She's a pretty little place now, but she's no longer great. And the beat goes on.
[00:09:19] So, boy, here's something that's kind of weird. Disney's Lilo and Stitch star, Tia Cariri, is celebrating her daughter coming out as transgender. How is that something to celebrate?
[00:09:42] Have any of you out there read what happens to a child when they get chopped up? When they get these drugs in their bodies? And, you know, there were people that have been cut up and shot up in the tranny movement, and they tried to come out and say, hey, wait a minute. This is not good. I want to go out and warn people.
[00:10:09] Do you know that under the Uncle Joe Biden administration, these people were shut down? They were told, no, you can't do that. You're being discriminatory. You're spreading hate. But I think it's more hateful to stand back and allow unnatural, devastating activities to become the norm in society. Anyway, I'm Ron Edwards, and this is the Ron Edwards American Experience.
[00:10:37] And maybe we'll have another liner song soon. Bye. Bye. Bye.
