Day, Hello, and how are you. I'm Ron Edwards and welcome to the Run Edwards American Experience. It's a really great day in the neighborhood. And greetings and salutations to every one of you throughout America and around the world. Yep, you know tariffs as the big conversation of one of the big conversations still permeating throughout our republic and should we have them, should we not? Why? Why not? Et cetera, et cetera. That's the debate that continues to permeate throughout the republic. But the history tells us that they are the right thing to do. I was getting into some of the statistical data yesterday again, but we had some technical difficulties which kind of took us out of the way, and there was a recording that popped in in my place. But anyway, we're going to get into some of those statistical details again, because there's still a lot of people and if you look around some of the media outlets, they are still explaining the tariffs in the wrong manner. It's not even based upon history, or they ignore history, the history of the blessings that tariffs in the past have been. Do you know that that used to be the number one way that the United States obtained funding for the government before in nineteen thirteen when they decided to switch to put the burden on the backs of we the people and slapping on an income tax. Income taxes are unconstitutional, by the way, they should be gotten rid of, and it was a graduated income tax. And see they had the goal then on Jacky Island when they put this idea together to gradually, through the income tax and others assorted taxes and regulation, to gradually seep away our wealth and sift the wealth up to the top one to five percent of the population, the elites. You know, the Bill Gates of the World, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. You know, Clause Schwab things that people like that, and they wanted to continue to drain away our wealth through these legal edicts, but unconstitutional taxes in order to gradually drain away our wealth, because you know, the accumulation of wealth multiplies your power. You know, two of the most important things we must own as sovereign individuals is land and wealth. We need silver and gold. Silver and gold very important, very important. And if you can on things like stocks and annuities, things that nature, you have to have a portfolio that is quite varied so that when the you know, government, big weekes come after you one way, that you have a number of other ways to keep afloat. And so, like I said, we're going to be getting into that a little bit later. Coming up after the break. We've got a guest today. Her name is Lisha Kilgis. She's with the Liberty Leaders Unite, and we're going to be talking about some of the things that they have been putting together and the plans they have for the near future and any events as it were. And we will be talking with her about that and another thing that some people are saying as a result of the tear, Some people that do admit that they're good, they say, but wait a minute, we do need industry in the country. But it will take too long to reassemble enough industry in America to make an impact. And to that, I say, no, that's patently wrong, because again, if you look at history, remember when America was thumped on December seventh, nineteen forty one, a day that will live in infami. Remember when we were smacked And it was a very short time when America switched over her industrial night, I mean quickly, and suddenly Detroit became the arsenal of democracy. It should have been called the arsenal of the Republic. But they created an industrial tsunami that swamped Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. America had factories operating in six months after Pearl Harbor. Within two years, the US was out producing Germany, Japan, and Italy put together. So it doesn't take that long if we have the will to do it. See Trump is doing his part, okay, but he cannot run the factories, he cannot build the factories, he can't do any of that. Government is supposed to create and guard the atmosphere so that the corporations and companies and small businesses can be brought online and operated by we the people. And so it's that simple, my friends, it's not easy, but it's that simple, it really is. And so for these naysayers who you know, they always try to find ways to bring negativity and say, oh, we can't do it, Oh it'll take too much time. Well, time is something we do have. It's and it's ticking away. And I would say that it will take us six to nine months to get America up and running very quickly, if we really put our shoulders to the wheel and just buck up and just do it. It doesn't take long. Seriously, And if you look at other countries and how fast they build factories, modern factories. I mean the world's largest auto plant in Mexico, it didn't take them very long to build that thing. General Motives decided, hey, screw America, We're going to put our stuff in Mexico. Boom. It was there in less than a year. So it doesn't take a long time. And I will continue to say that over and over and over and over again. And I would still urge President Trump to lower our the American corporate tax rate. Now, that would be like putting an energy shot into the effort to rebuild America. That would multiply the prosperous impact of tariffs, because there would be it would be it would have almost an intermediate impact, releasing more capital for investment, thus bringing more people in into the effort, speeding up the process. When American puts her mind to it, no one can do it better. But it's been a while since we've been doing it, so we have to get back up to speed. And the time is to do it is now. That's how we can win the psychological war and the political war across the But through example, we have to put ourselves into position so that we can win this political war that is being waged against us. By the way, in my humble opinion, the Europeans waged began waging war on us in the nineteen sixties. By the nineteen sixties, the United States should have backed out of all those agreements that they made to build Europe after the Marshall Plan. Once they got up and running, we should have said, you got it, kids, now keep building on it. We should not have continued to allow them to drain away our wealth to the trillions and trillions of dollars of our wealth, and they got so used to it. And now Trump is on the scene. Hey, we're going to bring this to an end. No wonder they're upset over there. This has been going on so long it's become part of their their fabric, and whose fault is it ours? You know a lot of the times people they crow about and they they're upset about what happens to them. But did you know the ninety percent of the bad things that happened to you in your life are directly or indirectly caused by your actions. And American needs to blame herself for this stupid crap that's been happening against us because we allowed it. We allow ours. We allow it by voting for people like Joe Biden, Lyndon Johnson, FDR, all these socialists through the years who have done nothing but screw us. Excellent, And it's a wonderful day today, I tell you. Nice and sonny and a little chili, but that's okay. It's early spring, and I just feel good about things in our republic. What say you, Yeah, it's a beautiful sunny day, a little chili, but but things are things are looking good. You know you you've been mentioning the tariffs and uh, you know, I will say that even though some people are apprehensive, you know, even my husband, who is in the automotive industry, says that these are needed. And it might be an interesting time, but this is something that the United States has to take control of. And you know, other countries have been charging tariffs for for a very long time, and I think that the United States needs to take theirs back. So yeah, absolutely, and and I'm sure you you probably have taught your your little ones about this already. But if you look at the the time of President McKinley and how he ushered in the Gilded Age, that wealthy time period of America, probably the wealthiest time in our history, the Gilded Age, and that happened because of tariffs. And that was before nineteen thirteen when they switched things up and put the burden on the backs of the American people through unconstitutional income taxes. Yes, it's crazy. You know, people don't realize all. I mean, they have added on tax after tax after tax after tax, and it's unconstitutional. Yeah, and it's act actually, and it's also immoral. I mean, God says, give me ten percent, and then government says, I want it all, and so. Ya fifty sixty. Yeah, yeah, they want so much. But it's it's part of the graduated income tax idea of making serfs out of us. But anyway, that's not going to happen at least I don't think so in our lifetime. I think they're going to be backed up for a good period of time. Anyway, let's talk about your wonderful organization, Liberty Leaders Unite. Tell us what's going on, any events coming up? Yeah, So Liberty Leaders Unite. Liberty is freedom. A leader is anybody is willing to stand up, unite. Everything's based on division these days, and we need to unite and we need to stand together. So we do a lot of different events. The three areas that we focus on are faith education and combating human trafficking and education. We are an education based nonprofit, so we really do try to provide education and awareness on a lot of different topics. And one of the events we just had was an awesome event where we partnered with love Life, which is a pro life, amazing organization, and we had that with pastors and ministry leaders. Since the Trumpster has been in office, and I know that he is and many in his administration in his cabinet are just one hundred percent against the human trafficking situation, have you noticed a difference or in the ability to deal with that issue now as opposed to during the Uncle Joe bidenan do you think the thing the atmosphere has changed where more people are being reached or rescued, or maybe there are fewer victims coming to the fruition right now? Let's say you. Well, you know, I think that obviously with the border being closed, it would decrease some. But I have to be honest, Ron, there's so many people that just don't believe that it's going on. And that's the issue. It's they hear about it. But it is literally in every church, it is in every school, it is in every neighborhood, it is across the country. Michigan is actually one of the top ten states that human trafficking takes. You know, it's really really unfortunate. But we really need more education and awareness about the topic. I believe that there are people that are getting involved to actually arrest these people, and we're really grateful for that, and we just need more of that. Amen. Do you think that as time goes on? Oh, I've got to get your opinion on this. John James is running for governor for the state of Michigan. What do you think about that. I would wish that he would stay in Congress because we need as many representatives there as possible, and maybe someone else could run for governor of Michigan, but here or just about anyone, even my bottle cap would be a great alternative to what's going on now. But let's say you about that. Yeah, we definitely need some massive change in the state of Michigan. We need a new governor. John James is a great guy. He does a great job in Congress, and I have to be honest, I don't I don't think that he should be leaving Congress. I think that he should be staying. I yeah, that's my opinion. I'm kind of on the same lines of you where you are that we really need him there. But apparently he feels led that. Uh he and his family, you know, they said they prayed about it and they they want to have him run for governor. And so I think that it's an you know, interesting time because I don't really know, Uh, there's going to be a lot more people I think that are going to be putting their hat in the ring for governor, and I think we really have to keep it in prayer because we do need a new leader in the state of Michigan. We need leaders on both sides. And here's the thing. The thing with human trafficking is it should be a bipartisan issue and it's. So yeah, so human trafficking is, like I said, it's in every church, it is in every school, it is in every neighborhood. And here's the thing. We need bipartisan support to put laws in place, to put bills in place that stops the sexual exploitation of minors, that stops human trafficking, that stops all of this madness. And you know, I work with legislators, and I've tried to reach out to both sides, and so now I'm working with some organizations, and so we really need bipartisan support on this because this is not a one side you know, it's not a Republican, it's not a Democrat issue. It is a bipartisan issue. It affects everybody, and it affects women and children, which we need to help protect. And so it's so important that people understand that it doesn't matter what side of the aisle you are on. This is something that needs attention and it needs bills put in place asap. Absolutely, I agree with you. It is not a partisan issue. It is a moral issue in my humble opinion, and I do wish that both parties would would care more about this. I will tell you that one side of the two headed monster call the Uniparty, it's a lot worse than the other, although neither one is great on that issue and a great number of issues in my opinion. But you keep up the good work, Alicia and all those that are working with you, and godspeed to know with what you're doing. I mean, if we don't start doing what's right our children educationally, morally, ethically and protecting them from the vermin, the human debris that wants to traffic them and harmon them in so many ways. You know, God will judge us harshly. We already deserve his harsh judgment, but he's been very merciful. But you know even that has an expiration dat if we don't hurry up and get things straightened out, so check out our website and get involved. Well, it looks like Trump is going to be celebrating along with the US Army. They're two hundred and fiftieth anniversary. And boy, this is something that I'm looking forward to because they're planning a huge military parade. It's going to be at least four miles long in the nation's capital area. And you know, of course, they are those thunderheads that are against this idea. Oh no, we can't do that, oh, because there are some people in the military. They are angry because they've been let go. Well, most of the people that are being let go now in the military are our people that should be let go. The woke folks, the dei folks, they got a go okay anyway. But for the most part, the military is bringing in new people and new recruits. Recruiting is up, and the United States military needs to be celebrated, in my opinion, but it needs to be of course celebrated under the right leadership. And the leadership is a lot better now and they really want to, you know, shore things up, and I think we the American people, should celebrate. And it's going to be happening this summer, and I look forward to June fourteenth, the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of our wonderful Army. God speed to our soldiers. It seems that inside Trump's Jihadist Elimination Unit at the White House, Senior Director Gorka has detailed how you know, the President of the United States has done a one eighty on counter terrorism policy compared to Uncle Joe Biden's administration. Now terarst around the world, they're running there, They're they're either being blown up or they're running. And that's rightfully so. Yesterday the President met with Benjamin et Yahoo, the leader of Israel, and they talked about this situation, the Huthis and others who have been wreaking havoc not only throughout the Middle East, but elsewhere throughout the world, and they're being properly dealt with. In fact, it's the only way they understand, because if anyone takes the time to study, at least read in the in the Ukran and some of the other documents of Islam, they they plainly state and they brag about the fact that their philosophy does not meld with liberty. It does not that their purpose is to undermine, destroy, take over, and dominate. That is what they are about. And please, if you think this is hate speech, then you have a problem. You need to go and check your brain in at a car wash and clean it out or something, because you know these people are wrong. They are our enemies. And thank God that we have an administration now that is cleaning these people, the ms thirteens and other human debris out of this country as they find them. And kudos to the Supreme Court. It was a five to four vote, but you know, I'll take it that they did the right thing and ruled that the president does have the right. It's in the constitution anyway, by the way, to dell with criminals and get them out, get them out of the country with the Venezuela and drug drug lords and and and and participants, other participants, get them out. So uh. In New York, h an unhinged individual slashed a woman with a broken bottle in the neck in Soho. I love Soho, the beautiful district there in New York. But you know, you gotta clean these these these these things out, these walking things out, and you you have these kinds of incidents still happening throughout the Republic. Whether it's in Chicago, the East side of Cleveland, it doesn't matter. And to hear or to read about politicians all over this country and activists more being more angry and more upset over the fact that President Trump is getting these people out of the county or locking them up. They're more upset in them being kicked out than the horrible acts that they engage in. That shows you what kind of a moral depravity situation that we have in this country. And so it comes down to simply defeating those whether they're domestically or internationally, who are on the other side, who are about destruction. It's that simple. There's nothing complicated about this. You know. We have to let our yes be yes know and understand there is a difference between right and wrong as well, and those that are on the wrong side of history they must be defeated no matter who they are. If you have a family member that agrees with the other side, with everything that the Democrats and the rhinal Republicans are pushing and have been pushing on this society, they are enemies. You pray for them, you still love them with a ten foot poll and but you know, but you have to understand what you're dealing with. And it doesn't matter if it's a family member or if it's somebody in the middle of Congress. And we have to we have to be adults about this. Americans for a long time, in my opinion, have been too childish, too chicken harted to understand enemies and what they're about. And President Trump understands this. He understands it. That's why he is hitting China with a one hundred and four percent tariff as Jixingping refuses to halt retaliatory taroffs. Now, all the United States did in the beginning of this whole situation was bring forth reciprocal tariffs. So basically what Jijing Ping and the leaders of other nations around the world or telling President Trump, how dare you stand up for your own country? How dare you stop us from screwing over the American people. See, the entire planet has looked at the United States as the world's piggybank, and they have looked at the American consumers as suckers, as buying suckers. Many countries around the world have been amazed at how we the people of the United States, have allowed our government to give their nations preferential treatment over we the people, to decimate our cities and turn them into shelled out shadows of their former glory. I mean, we have lost eleven million manufacturing jobs. That's a lot of work. That's a lot of productivity that has gone from you know, beyond our shores and beyond our borders. Last week, Trump announced reciprocal tariffs on countries that have historically imposed high tariffs on the United States, including China, which faced a thirty four percent tariff in addition to existing tariffs on its goods. In response, china state run Global Times called the reciprocal tariffs a tool to blackmail China and a tool for extreme extreme pressure and to pursue selfish interest. What so, to care about our own nation is considered to be nothing more than selfish interest. Well, okay, yeah, rational self interest is common sense. Exactly Likewise, he announced the thirty four percent retaliatory tariff on the United States. Trump then announced that China will face an additional fifty percent tariff if the retaliatory tariffs are not withdrawn. And when it's all said and done, Trump will slap We'll be slapping China upside the head with the one hundred and four percent tariffs in total. And guess what. Guess who will lose in that in the long run, It won't be the United States of America, because even though China is producing all that stuff, okay, their prosperity depends on the mood of the American people to continue buying from them or not. And like I said earlier, we can rebuild our manufacturing base for the most part within two years. In less than two years, we can have a lot of it going, a massive amount going in six months. We did it once during the Second World War. And after the Second World War, we the United States was the manufacturing floor of the world. This is Chris McConnell. Oh man, I would love to be in charge of this, and you're captured, right, And what I would do is sit the illegal border crosser down in a chair and then have them facing or her facing a wall with a calendar and like a school teacher, I would count the days one, two, three, four, five, I'd count if it was ninety days, I'd go all the way to ninety days, and then say, let's do the math nine hundred and ninety eight dollars and get one of those old calculators, but you know, for good sound effects, get one of those old registers and do the math that way. And then you know, give him the bill and say, hey, you got to pay up. And you know these people need to be punished. I'm sorry. I know there's a lot of leftist you know, and rhino like butt kissers, but you know, butt kissing time is over. PG time is over too, and you know it's time to sweep the petty gumps out of government. A few people are more petty than Mitch McConnell. What a petty little guy, no wonder. He can barely walk around. He reminds me of the old song free Frame. I mean, he walks around, he starts talking, and all of a sudden, like he can't talk anymore. I used to feel sorry for him, but not anymore. Vice President E Vance even lit up Senator Mitch McConnell recently after the Senator voted against the nomination of Eldridge Colby to service under Secretary of Policy at the Defense Department, describing the move as a grand display of political pettiness. You know this guy, and see Eldridge Colby is known as a very staunch conservative guy, very pro military as far as cleaning it up. You know, he. Has an old school air about him as far as wanting to do the right thing concerning our veterans and how things are run in the Defense Department. But because he is a really good guy, and this is someone that Trump and both jade Vans wont in there. So Mitch says, no, I don't support that. I'm against it. I mean, and there's a lot of that that's going on. You'd be surprised at how many of these kind of nitwits. They don't care about the condition of the republic. They don't care that even though things are improving in our republic, we are still in a precarious position, and they want to play this kind of petty politics. The guy has made millions. He and his wife, Chinese wife, have made millions and millions and millions of dollars at the expense of American taxpayers through these wonky deals with China, helping out his father in law through the years a Chinese shipbuilder, while American shipbuilders during that time period were being put out of business. I think America only has one shipbuilder remaining one where it wasn't that long ago the United States of America was the number one shipbuilding nation in the world. Where did all that go? Because ships are still needed, ships are needed more now, especially in commerce, than ever before. Why isn't the United States building these ships? Why tell me? Tell me, tell me, I'll tell you. Our traders government orchestrated trade deals that made it impossible for American shipbuilders to remain in business in this country. And they had to either shut down or move their business solfware elsewhere offshore, or just shut down in South Korea. China and other nations took our place. And that is one of the dumbest things you can do as far as national security. We have to not only do we have to make our own stuff, but we need our own ships for transport. We cannot sit around and depend on Denmark and other nations. Oh, speaking of Denmark, they just screwed us. A big Denmark corporation really recently put in to buy the two main gates into Panama. Now, China doesn't have any opposition to that, because Denmark is a little deuiy ab of a nation and they can be pushed around. And I will tell you this, the fact that China was able to get up the US bid to buy the Panama Canal gates, if I were the president, I would just push back and say, you know what, stop me. And I would go ahead and push forward and force this agreement into existence and say, you know what, here's the money. This is an offer you cannot refuse. Take it. It wouldn't be any take it or leave it. It would be take it because I don't. If we don't do this, it will not be it will not be very pretty because the way we're getting along with China, or because China likes to start a lot of crap, and we could buck up against China, and if they were in control of the Panama Canal, they could all of a sudden say hey, we're not taking any US ships, no US commerce coming through the Panama and we'd have to go all the way down to the bottom of South adding five months to the transport of goods. From one side of the United States to the other. Forget that. Uh huh. And I think something like that is going to happen. I couldn't tell you for sure, but one thing that has happened, one thing that has happen in my friends. Now that I see that, my time is up.
