Well, good day, good day, hello, and how are you. I'm Ron Edwards and welcome to the Round Edwards American Experienced Talk Show. And thanks for tuning in from throughout America and around the world. And yeah, really interesting times that we live in. You know, one thing that's really irritating is when you find or learn about Americans that continue to try to work against what is best for a republic or cheer for the other side. I'll give you an example here. Four Republicans, four thunderhead Republicans have joined with Democrats to try to scuttle what President Trump is doing in regards to the tariff situation. Now we all know anyone who understands history, economics, etc. Understands that tariffs are very good, especially in the long run for our economy, for our nation. I would require every student in the United States of America to read the history of President McKinley and how blessed the United States was when he enacted those tariffs which brought industry into this country, produced the Gilded Age, just open the door for America becoming the richest nation in the world. And then, of course things became nipped in the bud, of course, around nineteen thirteen, when they replaced tariffs with income taxes, rather than leaving things as they were, so that America could benefit, particularly we the people would be the beneficiaries of prosperity. The globe of that era leading into the Woodrow Wilson administration decided, Hey, wait a minute, after that fateful meaning on Jackal Island, Hey, let's start screwing the Americans real bad, real hard. Okay, we'll start with the income tax and shift away from tariffs. And speaking of tariffs, everyone's up in arms. Oh my god, Trump is just horrible. Why would he do that? It's gonna hurt us here in the United States. Walla, walla. You know, that's a bunch of bull capitalists with a hit. First of all, if you take the time to look at the tariffs the majority of the tariffs are still a fraction of the tariffs of the nations that President Trump is enacting tariffs against, whether it's Japan, China, the European Union, ick are good old friends even in Israel. Israel had about a what is thirty something percent tarff against US, and then they said, you know what, you all have been helping us survive basically, so they're going to drop their tariffs. Then you talk about, oh, Canada, are wonderful friends in Canada or one time friends of Canada. They've had some pretty massive taxes, I mean tariffs against US. I mentioned that yesterday, over one hundred percent against our dairy products. So Trump says, well, you know what, We're going to slap on a fraction of that. Boom. What happens for Republicans and the Democrats go to nutsville here in the United States, even though Canada said, oh you know what, they cried, uncle, oh, we're not well, we can talk about getting rid of our tariffs. And then after that, the US underminers these four Republicans and we're going to talk about them. I'm going to give their names, of course, run their names in the mud along with the Democrats. Now you expect Democrats to try to screw over all of us. I mean, they've been the party that screws over America ever since their inception. And I believe that the Democrats are derivative of the original Loyalists. Remember the loyalists. One says, who are the loyalists? Ah, ask your teachers. But the loyalists were those who were still wanted to remain in league with Great Britain when the United States was fighting for her independence. And I believe that many people that were in the Loyalist eventually as years went along, and you know, they were into oppression. And for the most part, the Democrat Party has been a party of oppression. Now, they fooled people for for several decades into thinking, oh, they're for the working persons, therefore America YadA, YadA, YadA, especially after FDR. I think it was around nineteen forty seven thereabouts that the Democrats made a pact to support communism in America. But oh, let's pretend to be for the working man, let's pretend to be pro American. And then of course they were the party of Jim Crow. Everything bad, bad, bad, bad, and so it is what it is, and they are still the party of everything bad. Then you have stupid people who call themselves Republicans, you know, and they just you know, there's not a backside, there's not a Democrat party backside that These Republicans, these rhinos can't find a kiss. They just find their backsides and mooch up. Why on earth would Republicans join with Democrats to try to undermine tariffs, which are a blessing. After Canada says, hey, you know what, we're going to talk about getting rid of our tariffts. Okay, and now since the Democrats did that, now Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney, that communist, has vowed to fight Trump. Now, okay, it is what it is. And that's why voting is so important. We cannot be idiots when it comes to voting. Nope, nope, No, We've got to be a lot wiser. That's why we always pray to God for wisdom. Lord, please give me wisdom. Well, there's the one in wise individual I know I recently met, not in person, but I believe he's a great guy. His name is Sam Bushman. He's with Liberty News Radio, a great network, and we're going to be talking with him after the break, and I want to I'm going to pick his brain to see what he feels about some of these issues that are impacting our great republic. Eric Adams, mayor of New York, he says he's going to be running for mayor again, but he's going to be an independent. And to me, independents are basically democrat light. So you're not fooling me, Eric, You're still a liberal. And so it is. So Chinese officials are responding to Trump tariffs. You know what, they have the nerve to say, stop the bullying. Now. These are the same officials who took over the Panama Canal in our hemisphere, who have been bullying their way all over Africa. You know those weak nations over there, Hey, how are you all right? We're from China. We have money, we can fix your roads. Oh good, thank you. And then they are suddenly in debt to China. We want your minerals. And you know, those African nations don't complain at all. I'll never forget a neighbor of mine, very successful guy from Ghana, He says, Run, I tell you we were so sorry. Now that we're involved with China, we should have stayed more involved with the United States, at least with the United States, and involves itself with deals. They really pay off and they do what they say. But the Chinese they come in, they make big prombises, run and then they screw over us. Well, and I told him, I said, that's what you all get. He didn't like that comment, but you know I didn't change my mind. Well, attack on the global trade order, that's what German Chancellor said, you know, talking about Trump's tariffs, and all these countries have these high tariffs on us, and Trump comes up with a fraction almost every nation that he's enacted tariffs against. Those tariffs are a fraction of the tariffs that are being enacted and have been enacted against all of our products all over the world. What nerve. That's why I've often said sometimes, you know, the United States would do better if we just traded amongst ourselves, and we'd be the world's richest nation just doing that. You know, you throw morality out the window and say, hey, we don't need God, we don't need right and wrong standards. Well, the sixteen year old track star Austin Metcalf fatally stabbed by a rival athlete during a championship meet. He died in his twin brother's arms. A seventeen year old is charged with first degree murder. I guess the seventeen year old couldn't take the fact that the sixteen year old might have been beating him or whatever. But this is indicative of how our society has been going in recent years. The people don't do not have self control where they don't have a moral compass anymore, because it's been drummed out of society. It's not taught. It's barely taught in churches. Most churches do not teach right and wrong anymore. You know, most of them have taken the Joel Olstein right route. Oh Jesus loves you, just come and enjoy the blessings of the Lord. Yes, indeed, yes, I've got my smile stuck on my face because you people have made me so rich. Ah, you two can be rich. Just send me one thousand dollars. Uh huh so and then you wonder why everything's going to hand you know, the hell in a handbasket. Incredible. Anyway, let's join our guests Sam Bushman, and he's a great talk show host. Your talk up about tariffs is fantastic. The American people need to understand the proper way of indirect taxation. They need to also understand the fact that we've been getting ripped off forever. And so that's a serious discussion. And you know, Trump's calling them kind tariffs because he's saying, I'm only doing fifty percent of what they're doing to us to go ahead and set the stage for negotiation. I support them one thousand percent. The only thing I think is, if we're going to add those increased revenues, then we need to decrease the taxes on the American people sooner than later. And if we do that, it's going to be an incredible formula. The greatest economic engine might come back to the United States, and that would be our prayer and our hope. And so we support President of Trump one thousand percent. When it comes to the religious discussions that you just brought up, I would say it sounds like Paula White. Ah. Yeah, she's another one of those cheerful people, and she has a right to be, you know she. I can't blame or for being so cheerful. Uh, Julie Green comes to mind. Uh, there's a whole slew of them. I mean, if you start putting money in my bak account, I'll get happy too. I guess right. I won't sleep at night if it comes from the wrong sources. And so that's why I can't take it. Ron. And what about the great Jesse the plant is he had a sermon a few years ago called Mirror Mirror on the Wall, and uh, you know, and he laughed his way all the way to the bank. Kenneth Copeland, I mean the name goes on T. D. Jake's mister hot Bottom and it just amazes me. Sam. Yeah, it's like that Hank Williams Junior song. They say send your money to the Lord, but they give you their address. Right yeah, exactly. Hey, you know it's kind of heartbreaking. I want to get your your feedback on also on the story I just mentioned, Wait a minute before we get to that, tell us about Liberty News Radio and how that came here is short. Here's the short story. It's kind of a long story because I've been a host for thirty years, and I worked and built other radio networks for other people, and I worked for different radio networks over the years, and it's a long story. The guy's passed away now, but his name was John stat Miller over Republic Broadcasting, and I was on his network and his board ops weren't showing up his producers oftentimes for just goofy reasons. And I said, John, I'm gonna have to produce my own show. He said, well, if you do that, you're off the network. And I said, no, John, I want to be on your network. I just I need stability in my show and I can't have. He said, well, if you produce your own show, you're gone. I said, John, please don't do that to me. You know I don't want that, and he said, I'm gonna do it anyway. I said, okay, Well, I've got a thirty day contract and I'll make different arrangements. Then he said, no, You're contract's not going to be honored. You're gone tomorrow. I said, John, I really beg you don't do this to me. If you do, you won't like what's going to happen. And he said, oh, you don't even have a clue and basically hung up on me. Well, I literally pulled an old lighter and build a radio network in one night. And I was on the air the next day with my show and he didn't have a show. And he calls me after the show and he said, how the hell did you do that? I need to be able to carry your show till I can find another host. I said, no, you don't, and that was the end of that. And I realized then he who owns the media makes the rules that And plus I owned a radio station for a while and I just learned how this works. And so Liberty News Radio was born out of the idea that, hey, no one's going to keep us off the air. Now if they shut down the whole internet, we may not have a choice, but ron independent voices like me and you will make sure we have the ability to broadcast. No matter what these clowns do. And so Liberty News Radio has been in existence since two thousand and nine. We syndicate my show Libertyroundtable dot com. It's aid nationally syndicated two hour daily show. Now we're starting to be part of the syndication along with other networks for your show. It's just great news. But that's the history of Liberty News Radio. That's how I got into it. I owned a radio station for ten years, sold it went into syndicated radio. But Liberty News Radio is basically an answer to say no, you will not take us off the air, and we're here to prove it. And we've been going since two thousand and nine. Man, how was the listenership? Is it continuing to grow as of this year? I think it's growing. Yes, I think it's a little bit of a slow growth again because you know some of these talk show hosts, that Charlie Kirks of the world. But you know, they do a lot of flash in the pan things to get and I'm not doubting these people. This is not a slight against them, but they do skits. You look at Matt oh what's his name anyway, he created the movies and stuff like that. And you know, so some of these people are doing some very innovative, cool flashing the pan new media stuff that gets them a lot of the limelight. Jordan Peterson does a lot of this kind of stuff. Alex Jones does this kind of stuff. I appreciate what they do, and if I had the money to do what they do, I might consider some of those things. Not all of them, but some of them have real merit. But I'm more of the guy that says, hey, I've been in the news forever. I'm not a Republican, I'm not a Democrat. I'm an American. I'm a constitutionalist in the battle between liberty and tyranny. I want to educate everyone and encourage everyone to move towards God, family, and country. Anyway, So with that in mind, I said, there's no network that can possibly let me freely say what I want to say. And so with all that in mind, that's how it all kind of started. Wow, it's a great story, and I'm proud to be a part of it. You just recently picked up my show, and you know, we hope to make you really glad that you added the run overs American experience to your lineup. Well, I think your talk up that you've got on a lot of the topics you're discussing some of these stories and everything is great stuff. It needs to happen. People need to know we're a republic, not a democracy. They think it's mere no big deal. It kind of means the same thing. No, it doesn't, folks. You got to understand that it's clearly a complete difference. A constitutional or republic is based on the rule of law. And I support Donald Trump and saying, hey, those who are breaking the law, we need to arrest them. We need to let them have due process. That's the system we believe in. But then we need to prosecute many of these people to the fullest extent of the law. And now we're getting one and more evidence that Joe Biden had no clue. Even Mike Johnson said, I knew a year in advance that hey, Biden couldn't really be running the country. He doesn't even know what's going on. And even Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House, said that, and he knew and kept his mouth shut for a year, knowing full well that Joe Biden might even get a second term as a result of that, or is unable to run the country even now for the last year, much less four years in the future. I mean, this is really criminal by these people. Mike. I'm saying to you that we've got to really focus on these things. I don't think the maintor Impression networks had let us say that kind of stuff. Yeah, Mike Johnson is one individual you cannot trust. I don't trust him, and I speak more about that after the break. And before we get back with our guest, you know, the United States has the lowest tariffs among the world's top twenty economies. We have the lowest, and there's so many in the United States who want to I think they want us to be screwed over. I'll give you an example. The UNI Party is determined to severely undermine President Trump's efforts to rebalance trade agreements worldwide and bring back millions of jobs from overseas, about eleven million to be to be quite accurate. We find that the President Trump announced the implementation of a ten percent baseline tariff on all imports effective of the fifth of April, and the worst offenders will be hit with even tougher measures beginning on the ninth of April. Now, you know, my friends, people like Chuck Grassley, I'm really surprised at him because I thought he was kind of a I knew it was kind of middle of the road, but I thought he was more common sense. He has joined with leftist Democrats to introduce legislation to up end President Trump's tariff authority. Now he wants to strip away the authority that President McKinley had, and did you know that Ronald Reagan also enacted some tariffs, as did other presidents, not just President Trump. I was really disappointed. This morning, Senator Chuck Grassley introduced a bill with far left Senator Maria Cantwell of Washington which would almost certainly put Trump's new tariffs entirely on ice. The legislation's slated purpose is to reassert the legislative branch's power over trer of authority. You know what, President Trump needs to say screw that and press for his colleagues in the Senate to to to tell mister Grassley where to go with that. Very disappointed, What say you, mister Bushman? They say democrats point explain the Democrat camp and it is authority. However, President has institutions take the lead in act that needs to be called. Hey, you know what, you know what's Sam? Sam? We're having a problem. You're you're breaking up. So you're severely breaking up here and I don't know if it's your connection or what, but you're really cracking up there. Let's try it again. Did you turn them up? Doug? Okay? Sam? Here, now are you there? How about now? Okay? Go ahead, okay, I'm saying that the Congress the responsibility is true, but rather than a bill in place, undermind, why the bill in place immediately showing from the American president lead on, that's what we need to do. Yeah, but yeah, you're still breaking up a lot. But we'll try to get through this and we find you know, we mentioned Mike Johnson, the speaker. This guy is an underminer. He is slow dragging appropriate legislation needed to help President Trump get the job done. He wants to slow walk, as do many Republicans, so that we're always in a position of, oh, well, we can't be too good here. It just I think that many Republicans don't want America to be totally good. Uh. They always want us to be what I call controlled opposition, but not real opposition, Uh, to seem like we're doing what's needed on behalf of the American people. Kind of like the Trey Gouty approach, Jim Jordan approach, fast talkers. I'm sorry, I'm auld tire Johnson right now. Yeah, yeah, get rid of them. Get rid of man. Your connection is really. Choppy there, hold them? Are you on a cell phone? No? Man, it is really cracking up. Oh, man, that's bad. Try to let's try to reconnect with him, Doug, and I'll just keep going until we reconnect with him, because it's really breaking up horribly. This bit of good news. ICE has arrested over thirty people working for a roofing company in Washington, and those people are, of course illegal border crossers, and I'm happy to report that. Of course they are protesters out there saying how dare we do this? That and the other, YadA, YadA YadA. Well, I'm sorry, I don't care if you're the best roofers on the planet, if you're the best whatever. If you came into the United States of America illegally and you're caught, you gotta go. It's that simple. And we cannot make exceptions. Okay, you came here illegally, and you know, they don't need to be sent to Al Salvat or to the prison, but you need to be escorted out of this country. And the reason why I'm such a hardliner on that because it is unfair to the one point five million who come to this country legally. Every single year, Every single single year, over a million people come to this country legally. So why is it that these line jumpers, these illegals, Why should they be allowed to get preferential treatment over those who come to this country legally. It's not right, and it's time we take a hard line on that. And if the liberals and the you know, the collegiate professors and all these people, the liberal pastors and other nitwits want to go to nutsville over this, then go to nutsville. That's your problem. But right is right and wrong is wrong, and it's about time we start doing what is right on whatever the issue is. Okay, and wonder we have our guests back. I guess not. I'm here, sir, going to hear now. Yeah, I think you're a little bit better now, Okay. So I'm just saying the Democrats they want to destroy everything Trump does. It's time for the Republicans to double down and take care of the mandate we gave them. And they need to codify Trump's tariffs. And then we need to focus on tax cutting for the people, and we need to do it yesterday. Yeah, Well, cutting the taxes. See, they we should permanently get rid of the income tax, because it was the income tax that the liberals of that time in nineteen thirteen, they use that to replace the terraffs. Everything was smooth and wonderful, and they decided, well, wait a minute, we have to figure out ways to screw over the American people and let's so now let us let us tax their work and then the property taxes and all that were. They need to get rid of property taxes, they need to get rid of income taxes and just have consumption. All we need is an apportionment tax at the state level and tariffs. And between those two things, government needs to run. You know, we give God ten percent. We should never give government more than God. That's first of all. Yeah, it doesn't deserve it because all it does is waste what we give them. And I'm looking at a story here, another story. I mentioned it earlier, but Chinese officials are really beside themselves in anger. They're basically saying, how dare you the United States of America stand up to us and with these tariffs? Because I'm going to tell you something s and I hope you agree with me, but if you don't, oh, well, I believe that we should just cut off our relationship with China. I would cut it off and deal with the consequences and explain to the American people. Look, it'd be a temporary hiccup with with our situation, but you know what, in the long run, we would be blessed. Now, I don't know if you remember this. I agree support your position one hundred percent. But I would say this, and. I didn't finish. I didn't want to plan on plan on saying, hey, you know, some core things we're going to keep in place and hope that you guys can sit down to the table and work out something more appropriate. Uh, you know. And in other words, i'd graduate ourselves out of it a little bit. I mean, for the most part, I would do with what you're saying. It can't happen overnight, because there's some key components, but it can happen relatively quickly. And if you take a chunk of it off the table immediately and show you're serious, now you can sit down and have real talks. Right. Yeah. But here, here's here's the thing that I would add into that is to give the people a history lesson. If you go back to the nineteen fifties, right, America was number one in the production of just about everything, number one in steel in Pittsburgh, number one in automobiles in Detroit. Cleveland was the number one manufacturing center in the entire country because she was number two in steel and number two in auto. You had a huge steel production capacity in Birmingham, Alabama, Gary, Indiana. Textile industry in the Carolinas, we produced enough, and we traded amongst ourselves. We produced our own clothing as silverware. Time out. We can do and we can do it overnight, because not only is the supply chain not there, but the raw materials aren't even in the trajectory of our sphere in the world right now, So it's going to take some time. I was actually hired by a company as a consultant to talk about bringing back their manufacturing to the United States several years ago, and we flat out determined that unless they changed, I mean the small to medium companies, and I'm talking about companies that are ten million to fifty million, they're not big enough to move the needle on that. You've got to get a whole supply chain in place, a whole raw materials pipeline in place that's not in place right now, and it's going to take several years to get that to happen. Even if the big players jump to the game. So I'm not saying it's not doable. I'm saying we've got to think about and be practical about. Hey, they took since the Ross pro days telling us our sucking sound to destroy the economy to now it has been a long thirty years, and I think we can bring it back faster than we lost it. But I don't think it's going to be overnight either. Yeah, but I'm just saying that it needs to be done, and we have to exp and. It has to be explained to the American people. I mean on there eate third grade level. It has to be explained nice and slowly so that they get it and so they don't fall for the lies that are spewed forth every day, you know, on behalf, basically on behalf of globalism and sucking the jobs out of our country. Because we don't stop now, we're going to be in a heap or hurt. Right now, China has about one hundred trillion dollars in their economy. We have about seventy trillion, and I'm talking about as far as production, ours is still the largest economy overall, but a lot of that hugeness is consumption We're a great consumption society and we cannot exists as a strong nation in the long run just being a major consumption nation. We have to produce. You got to have manufacturing, you got to have farming, you got to have agriculture and know all that stuff. Right, Yeah, and take our round back real economy. Yeah. Over the past seven years, you have been paying into the United States Aid slush fund for the benefit of every rat, scoundrel and politician in that swamp swamp called the United States Congress. And to this very second, they still are slow walking at best and cleaning up the effort. It is a shame that an outsider who's not being paid one single dollar, Elon Musk, is doing a much better job of trying to clean up government waste than those who are elected and in position to have the authority over the economy, meaning the Congress. Not only that, you've got Social Security being paid out to millions of people who are dead or over one hundred and twenty years old, and people are going to nutsville because that has been exposed. And see then when you hear and you're going to be hearing a lot of people continuing to say, oh, they're cutting our benefits. They're cutting, they're they're they're cutting, they're cutting social Security. Oh my god. No, if you are an American born recipient of Social Security, you're not going to be cut at all. In fact, I've heard it through the grapevine and some of you have heard it too, that President Trump wants to increase Social Security payments. And I believe it's just my humble opinion that Social Security recipients should at least at at at at the very least, their their payments should be doubled or tripled. And I thought this before a story that came out yesterday or the day before about how illegal border crossers were hooked up by a particular tax agency Hewlett Hewlett Jackson or whatever. They were hooking up illegal border crossers in New York at the roads of Olt, the once beautiful Roosevelt Hotel, and they were getting up to seven thousand dollars a month in Social Security payments just forgetting a number via the Biden administration. And they never put a dime into the system. So if they could get those kinds of payments, then why should not Americans be receiving at least five thousand dollars each And let's not forget even with all that being given to the illegals and what Americans have been being paid. Guess what, that's only amounts to five to seven percent of the entire budget of Social Security. So when you hear these Neanderthals saying, oh, t Trump wants to cut your benefits, and that's what he talks about when he's he's going after Social Security, they're going after the waste and the majority of that money should be returned to the American people. And what about the insider trading on defense contracts by Pelosi Bernie Sanders, Yeah, Bernie Sanders, the Dopey Delhi, the old dopey Delhi man huh, Elizabeth Warren, Hakeem Jeffreys, Yeah cool, Hakeem yeah, and dozens of other US Senators and House members. And they're not all Democrats, by the way. They fund the contracts, tell their husbands or wives which stocks shares to buy, and then make millions of dollars off those contracts. They live the high life while you pay your tax dollars into Washington, d c. And even pay taxes on your Social Security payments. My my mi. During the Vietnam era, the military industrial complex corporate heads created the war, extended it for ten years, and didn't give a darn about the fifty eight thousand, four hundred and seventy nine veterans who got killed and another three hundred thousand hideously wounded, or about the million Vietnamese who got killed. The total cost of the Vietnam War is difficult to determine precisely, but the US military share of the conflict from nineteen sixty five to nineteen seventy five was estimated at at one hundred and thirty eight point nine billion, not including the cost of veterans benefits of the human cost of that. You know, a lot of people call it a war. It never was proclaimed as a war. It was never never declared war. It was always a conflict. Now what do we do about this? What we need to do. We don't get rid of the military complex. What we do is reform it, because we have to have a huge and mighty military in the world that we presently reside in. But we have to get rid of this waste. We have to get rid of these types of individuals who want war for war's sake. Okay, war should be something that is very rare, and it should be when the United States get involved in because it hurts our interest not to I mean, human lives are are too precious to waste just because a bunch of folks want to make a lot of money at our expense. Okay, Okay, Well, anyway, my friends, it is high time that we the people just come together. And I know I've said that a lot, but we still have a lot of work to do. This does not rest on just the shoulders of President Trump, because without us getting involved, guess what, he'll get some stuff done, but it'll be like it'll end up being like spinning his wheels, because it will be because of we the people getting involved, meaning putting our representatives and senators feet to the fire and dealing with our local officials, that we will get permanent changes. Right now, a lot of the executive orders of President Trump should be voted on to be permanent law, okay, so that we don't have to keep going through these cycles. Because I'm telling you right now, the Democrats are chewing on their nails waiting for the Trump administration to be gone so they can come right back and reinstall everything that they did under Uncle Joe Biden. He didn't know what was going on, but they did it anyway he would have done it had he had his brain working. So they basically did what he wanted anyway, whether he knew it or not.
