[00:00:00] This is Sharonda, and you're listening to The Ron Edwards American Experience.

[00:00:05] On with the show, this is it!

[00:00:08] And away we go.

[00:00:17] Say A, say M, say E, say R, say I, C, say A.

[00:00:39] Ladies and gentlemen, it's The Ron Edwards American Experience Talk Show.

[00:00:44] Where our unalienable rights are celebrated.

[00:00:48] And now, your radio refreshment, Ron Edwards.

[00:01:21] Good day, good day.

[00:01:22] Seems that the guy pouring my refreshing drink there was way in the background.

[00:01:26] Welcome to this edition of The Ron Edwards American Experience.

[00:01:30] I'm Ron Edwards, and glad to have you today.

[00:01:33] Got a really great show lined up for you.

[00:01:36] Many things to cover.

[00:01:38] Of course, the usual suspects, you know, Kamala.

[00:01:41] And that whole ilk.

[00:01:44] And something that, you know, German drivers are doing, that American drivers, maybe they'll catch on maybe one or two years from now.

[00:01:52] But, yeah, the Germans are saying, you know what?

[00:01:55] Yet, no, no to electric vehicles.

[00:01:58] They're saying, we're done.

[00:02:01] And so, it is what it is in Germany.

[00:02:05] But Americans are continuing to be marketed via the auto manufacturers and the government.

[00:02:11] It continues to want to push us into these electronic vehicles.

[00:02:16] And it's not about cleaning up the environment, by the way.

[00:02:19] I've said this a billion times.

[00:02:21] In fact, electronic vehicles, so those batteries are more polluting than all the gasoline or petrol that you can muster.

[00:02:30] You know, when those batteries die and you bury them, guess what?

[00:02:34] The earth around them dies.

[00:02:36] Whether you wrap them in plastic or not.

[00:02:38] It's curtains for the earth.

[00:02:40] So, what are we going to do going forward, my friends?

[00:02:44] I say abolish electronic vehicles.

[00:02:48] You know, someone looked at me like I was cuckoo.

[00:02:51] But I think we could have nuclear-powered vehicles.

[00:02:56] We have nuclear-powered submarines.

[00:02:58] You get a nuclear tablet the size of an aspirin.

[00:03:02] And it could run an automobile for 50 years, if not longer.

[00:03:07] And, you know, we have the technology to do it.

[00:03:10] We do.

[00:03:11] And I've known about it since I was about eight years old.

[00:03:14] And I saw it was a traveling show called the Parade of Progress.

[00:03:20] And they had the turbine engine car.

[00:03:22] They had nuclear-powered cars.

[00:03:24] They had miniature computers.

[00:03:26] And I was eight years old at the time.

[00:03:29] Okay?

[00:03:29] All the things that are here and some of the things that are yet to be brought forth by the, you know, a lot of the inventions that we are so engaged with today.

[00:03:42] These things were invented 50, 60, 100 years ago.

[00:03:46] And they dragged these things out slowly but surely.

[00:03:50] Anyone remembers the Jetsons cartoon?

[00:03:53] I knew as a child watching the Jetsons.

[00:03:57] Ah, yes.

[00:03:58] These things are already there because, like I said, I saw the Parade of Progress.

[00:04:03] And now the robots are being brought out.

[00:04:05] But they're not as friendly as, what was that robot's name in the Jetsons' household?

[00:04:12] It wasn't Rosie.

[00:04:14] Was it Rosie?

[00:04:15] Oh, I don't remember.

[00:04:17] It's not that important.

[00:04:19] I wish we could forget Kamala's name.

[00:04:22] Hopefully they'll forget her at the voting booth.

[00:04:26] So.

[00:04:27] Yeah, that's true, Doug.

[00:04:28] My producer reminded me that they are making many nuclear power plants all over in Europe to run cities.

[00:04:36] And, yeah, and so why not a car?

[00:04:38] But, yeah, the technology is there.

[00:04:40] All the problems that we're dealing with today are being exacerbated by leftists who just continue to get in the way of progress.

[00:04:51] Well, one person that does not get in the way and has never gotten in the way of progress, as far as I know, his name is Richard B. Battle.

[00:05:00] Now, he's an award-winning and Amazon bestselling author of 11 books.

[00:05:05] He is a media commentator, frequently appearing on radio and television, and has been a motivational speaker and trainer for over 30 years.

[00:05:13] We're going to be talking to him in the next segment of the broadcast and see what he has to say, what light he sheds on in the darkness called America today.

[00:05:25] Well, Chris Wallace, that slappy guy, he says that Trump is sticking to the basement like Biden did in 2020.

[00:05:34] Now, either this guy is just a fool or he's just talking smack.

[00:05:40] That doesn't make sense because I've been looking at Trump rallies almost every day.

[00:05:47] And Trump is all over the place.

[00:05:49] He's here, he's there, he's everywhere.

[00:05:53] And it just goes on and on and on.

[00:05:56] But yet he ignores the Harris, the Kamala plagiarism scandal, which continues to deepen, my friends.

[00:06:04] Ah, admits that New York Times expert who cleared Kamala of plagiarism admits he didn't do full analysis.

[00:06:15] Now, that's not the real truth.

[00:06:17] The guy knew about it, but just blew it off.

[00:06:19] And, you know, fellow leftists, they work together.

[00:06:23] That's all that is.

[00:06:25] Netanyahu.

[00:06:27] Yeah, Netanyahu has been leading the charge to kick dragon and take no names, just smash and destroy, as they should be doing.

[00:06:38] Over there, Hezbollah should be wiped out and all the other terrorist organizations should be wiped out.

[00:06:44] One thing that the Islamists understand, that when you kick their butt, okay, you kick it good enough.

[00:06:51] All of a sudden they come running out.

[00:06:53] We want to negotiate.

[00:06:55] We want to have talks.

[00:06:56] We want to have talks.

[00:06:58] They roll their R's, you know.

[00:06:59] We want to have talks.

[00:07:02] And Hezbollah has said a few times in recent days they want to have talks now because they know that they cannot defeat the battering ram called the IDF, one of the mightiest armies on earth today.

[00:07:14] And Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to rise in popularity amongst his country's voters as his strong performance in the ongoing war and is standing up to President or uncle Joe Biden, as I call him.

[00:07:30] People have asked me, why do you call Joe Biden uncle?

[00:07:35] Well, you know, if you go back in American history and you look at the American South, you know, they used to always call Democrats who kind of ruled the roost back in the day.

[00:07:46] They used to call black men, adult men, uncle.

[00:07:49] They would not refer to them as mister or address them according to their position if they had a position.

[00:07:55] If they were allowed to win a position there or earn a position, they didn't call.

[00:07:59] They only call him uncle.

[00:08:00] How you doing, uncle?

[00:08:03] And I think they would call the black females missy, missy.

[00:08:06] And that's why I call him uncle because of the nature and history of the Democrats or as we like to call them Democrats.

[00:08:20] Let's see.

[00:08:22] Child sex trafficking reports triple under Harrison Biden.

[00:08:26] Yeah, we've known this.

[00:08:29] And I think it's even more than tripling.

[00:08:32] When you have now, it's about 350,000 missing children over the past three years.

[00:08:40] I mean, these people, you know, they're not being translated.

[00:08:44] They're not being biblically translated from one part of the world to the other.

[00:08:47] No, they're being transported via our southern and now northern borders.

[00:08:54] And God forbid.

[00:08:55] I mean, these these these children have been suffering.

[00:08:57] And who knew that there were that many freaks in the United States who would want to torture children sexually or make them slaves or whatever?

[00:09:09] Who knew?

[00:09:10] I didn't think that there were that many evil people in this republic that would take in children for slavery.

[00:09:19] Under this administration, 350,000 illegal border crossing children are missing.

[00:09:26] And most of them are sex slaves.

[00:09:29] This kind of thing has to stop.

[00:09:32] See, because everything for everything in every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction.

[00:09:37] And America had better start getting her moral house in order.

[00:09:42] Because I don't care what it is.

[00:09:45] You know, we the reason why United States continues to be blessed as she is, despite all of the evil things she has done with abortion and things like that.

[00:09:54] She has been a very generous nation.

[00:09:56] But that credit card is of generosity is going to be running out soon.

[00:10:00] We have to do the right thing this coming November, my friends.

[00:10:03] I'm Ron Edwards.

[00:10:04] We're going to have a right conversation right after this on this.

[00:13:24] This is Richard Battle, author and speaker, and you're listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience.

[00:14:00] Welcome back.

[00:14:01] This is the Ron Edwards American Experience.

[00:14:03] Thanks so much for tuning in from throughout America.

[00:14:05] And, yes, our good friends from around the world who chime in daily and let me know that they like what we're doing.

[00:14:13] And if you do, remember to patronize our sponsors and show them the appreciation that they so deserve.

[00:14:21] Well, my friends, let's welcome.

[00:14:23] His name is Richard V. Battle.

[00:14:25] He is an award-winning Amazon bestseller, author of 11 books.

[00:14:31] His servant leadership includes the boards of many organizations, including Alpha Kappa Psi, the Shepherd Leadership Institute, past chairman, the Boy Scouts of America.

[00:14:42] Boy, I don't know if he's there anymore, but Muscular Dystrophy Association and keep Austin beautiful.

[00:14:49] Austin is a beautiful city.

[00:14:50] Hello, Richard, and welcome to the Ron Edwards American Experience.

[00:14:54] Good afternoon, Ron.

[00:14:56] Thank you so much for having us with you today.

[00:14:58] It's an honor, sir.

[00:14:59] And thank you for, you know, for being one of those who seems to care about this country and is joining the battle, pun not intended there, but, you know, in this fight for liberty and restoring our republic.

[00:15:17] Well, thank you for that.

[00:15:45] It was John Ben Shepard, a former attorney general of Texas, and he spoke out against communism in the 50s, and his expression was, to be born free is an accident.

[00:15:57] To live free is a responsibility, but to die free is an obligation.

[00:16:04] And I feel that responsibility today is part of my calling, and I know you do as well.

[00:16:11] Yeah, absolutely, because, you know, when people run around saying we want freedom, it's all about freedom.

[00:16:18] And I say no, it's about liberty, which means freedom with responsibility, because you cannot have and maintain personal liberty or freedom without responsibility.

[00:16:31] And that's the hallmark of what the founding fathers were talking about when it talked about this land of liberty, because, you know, personal responsibility negates the excuse or the need of nanny goat government governing us or ruling over us from cradle to grave, let's say you.

[00:16:52] Well, that's exactly right.

[00:16:54] Right. And the left is very quick to talk about the rights of being free, but they will never talk about the responsibilities of being free.

[00:17:05] And that's led to some of our civil issues that we've had the last several years, because people think they can do anything, and they don't have that responsibility.

[00:17:17] You can go to a football game and use language around children that's inappropriate because you have freedom.

[00:17:24] Well, the liberty and responsibility is to have that self-restraint and respect for other people to not impose your freedom on them as part of our liberty.

[00:17:38] Absolutely. And I love how you put that.

[00:17:41] You reminded me of a little story I've shared from time to time.

[00:17:47] When I was about 10 or 11, a group of us boys were sitting on a stoop, and across the street was a big Catholic church.

[00:17:56] And there was a guy walking down the street, and he was staggering a bit.

[00:18:01] We knew that he had been kind of juiced up there.

[00:18:05] But when he got to in front of the church, he took his hat off, literally took the hat off, and walked straight.

[00:18:13] And then when he got past the church, he put his hat back on and was dawdling on the way he was before.

[00:18:19] And that let me know as a little child the power of having a system or a nation of morality.

[00:18:29] It's in the air.

[00:18:30] But now the opposite happens.

[00:18:33] People break into churches.

[00:18:34] People are doing all kinds of things that you would not even—I mean, I remember the churches were open.

[00:18:40] I could go downtown Cleveland and walk into St. John's Cathedral any day of the week and go pray if I wanted to.

[00:18:45] I wasn't a Catholic, but I knew it was open.

[00:18:47] And same thing with many other churches.

[00:18:50] Today they're all locked up, and I think that is a horrible reflection on our society.

[00:18:55] What say you?

[00:18:56] Well, absolutely.

[00:18:57] And I live outside of Austin, Texas, and our state capitol was that way for many, many years where it was wide open.

[00:19:05] Anytime you wanted to go into the capitol building, you could because people respected it.

[00:19:11] And that's what you were talking about a minute ago.

[00:19:13] And yet today you have to have security and control who goes in and out and when because you cannot depend on people respecting the institutions and the responsibilities of our liberty.

[00:19:29] Well, you know where that comes from, and I want to get your take on this.

[00:19:33] A perfectly designed mechanism by the leftists who took over both, in my opinion, the church and definitely the school system.

[00:19:44] The two forms, you know, harbingers of education and spiritual teachings in our country.

[00:19:52] They have been poisoned, and so when you extract God's morality out of both the school system and, in my opinion, much of the church, you have a situation where immorality automatically replaces that disrespect for that which is good.

[00:20:09] And including our great republic, which, in my opinion, is still a good nation.

[00:20:13] We just need to clean her up and get the dirt out.

[00:20:16] And I think you know what that means.

[00:20:19] Well, yes.

[00:20:19] And I'm old enough to have remembered prayer in school, which ended after a lawsuit that was actually filed in Austin, Texas, by Madeline Murray O'Hare.

[00:20:30] And in the early 60s, the Supreme Court gave her a victory, but us a defeat, in that it outlawed prayer in school.

[00:20:39] And, of course, life abhors a vacuum.

[00:20:43] And so when the prayer was taken out, then what came in to take its place?

[00:20:47] And that was the anything goes morality.

[00:20:50] And we hear people talk sometimes about you can't legislate morality.

[00:20:55] Well, I would argue that all legislations has morality.

[00:20:59] The only question is what morality are you legislating?

[00:21:04] Absolutely.

[00:21:05] Yeah.

[00:21:05] What morality?

[00:21:06] You know, you've written 11 books, and I think your most recent book is Americans Who Made America.

[00:21:14] Tell us a bit about that book.

[00:21:16] We've got about two minutes before the break.

[00:21:18] Well, and it is the 18th century birth of the republic, and it's Americans, and it's the first of a four-volume series celebrating the American-do spirit.

[00:21:30] I'm disgusted at the government telling me what I can't do, how I need to rely on them.

[00:21:35] Our ancestors forged a civilization out of a wilderness, and they didn't have government to lead them by the nose.

[00:21:44] When they had a dream, they pursued it and executed, and they built this country.

[00:21:49] They weren't Republican or Democrat.

[00:21:51] They were Americans.

[00:21:52] And so I have a series of profiles, some people you'll know, some you won't, illustrating that.

[00:22:00] And I've written it in a way that young adults and adults can read it.

[00:22:06] There's 250 quotations, and it is an inspiration to try to re-instill that American-do spirit in us

[00:22:15] to show us what we can do independently of government being the nanny state.

[00:22:23] Amen to that.

[00:22:24] Well, I kind of envy you.

[00:22:26] You're living in the great state of Texas.

[00:22:28] I visited there several times, and every time I'm in Texas, you can feel what a special place it is,

[00:22:35] despite the preponderance of liberals who have taken over Austin and Houston and things like that,

[00:22:42] and San Antonio, my goodness.

[00:22:45] But it's still a beautiful state, lots of great people.

[00:22:50] And Texas is one of those places in the United States that still gives us a sense of hope,

[00:22:57] because there are so many people in Texas that love this country.

[00:23:01] And I think, give us your take.

[00:23:04] You know, we're going to hold it right here, because I want to get your take on the election from a Texas point of view.

[00:23:10] We'll be right back with our guest.

[00:23:13] I'm Ron Edwards, and you are listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience.

[00:23:24] This is Amy Holland.

[00:23:25] This is Kim Thomas, and we are listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience.

[00:23:30] My fellow Americans, if you were born in the United States and are a traditional patriot, lover of God,

[00:23:58] and your inalienable rights, just know, if you haven't figured it out yet,

[00:24:02] the federal government may not want you to exist.

[00:24:05] Hello, I'm Ron Edwards.

[00:24:07] On today's page from your original book,

[00:24:09] the federal government is on a globalist mission to replace every decent American

[00:24:14] who truly wants America to be great again.

[00:24:16] That is precisely why Uncle Joe Biden and Aunt Kamala have presided over the largest border invasion

[00:24:22] in human history at our southern and northern borders.

[00:24:25] The majority of the illegal entrant invaders are military-aged young men of either Islamic or communist heritage,

[00:24:32] simply waiting for the orders to massively kill, steal from, and destroy Americans

[00:24:36] who simply desire to live in one nation under God with liberty and justice for all.

[00:24:41] For decades, I have warned Americans, particularly Christians or followers of Christ,

[00:24:46] who exhibited and in some cases preferred a weak posture against evil

[00:24:50] that opened wide the door of energetic evil and unbridled oppression.

[00:24:55] Wake up, America, because it's almost too late.

[00:24:58] Vote biblically.

[00:24:59] It's your responsibility.

[00:25:01] I'm Ron Edwards.

[00:25:05] Join me on our weekdays, 3 p.m. Eastern, to find out where.

[00:25:08] Go to theronedwards.com.

[00:25:14] In the heart of struggle, in the face of adversity and betrayal,

[00:25:18] a thread of hope and faith created tapestry of triumph.

[00:25:22] I'm Denise Edwards, and I'm inviting you to take a look into the window of my life.

[00:25:27] God promises in his word that he will never leave us nor forsake us.

[00:25:32] Well, I say, you don't know Jesus is all you need until Jesus is all you have.

[00:25:38] Join me in my journey of victory.

[00:25:40] Read about my Romans 828 life and find inspiration for your own overcoming life.

[00:26:46] Yes, we're back.

[00:26:47] This is Ron Edwards American Experience.

[00:26:49] And looking in the Ron Edwards American Experience chat room, great folks in there, including fellow talk show host Tim Tapp.

[00:26:56] And he's joined in.

[00:26:58] Welcome, Tim.

[00:26:59] And I'm also looking at a picture of a 1958 Ford Nucleon.

[00:27:07] And I've never seen this before.

[00:27:09] My producer slapped this up there.

[00:27:10] And it proves what I've said about the possibility of producing a nuclear-powered car.

[00:27:17] Now, I did see a nuclear-powered car, but it didn't look like this.

[00:27:20] This is pretty sleek here.

[00:27:23] And I think it's something that should be reconsidered or at least considered and brought out for production.

[00:27:31] I think it would be safer than just about any car that's brought about today.

[00:27:36] And when you look at our nuclear submarines, they're doing just fine.

[00:27:41] Anyway, let's get back to our conversation with our guest, Richard V. Battle, great author of 11 books, by the way.

[00:27:49] And he's here with us to spend a little bit more time.

[00:27:52] Welcome back, Richard.

[00:27:53] And thanks again for joining us today.

[00:27:57] Well, thank you for having me and look forward to that question we had put on hold.

[00:28:02] You know, I am amongst so many things.

[00:28:08] There's so many questions I actually have for you.

[00:28:12] How does it look?

[00:28:15] Okay, you're in Texas.

[00:28:18] And there's a big struggle going on in that state.

[00:28:22] But I think you guys are going to pull it out with Ted Cruz, even though you've got Chuckie Schumer and many others pouring millions and millions.

[00:28:30] I mean, records amount of – they're spending more money in Texas now to go against Ted Cruz than they have spent on presidential elections in the past.

[00:28:42] I mean, this is some amazing stuff.

[00:28:44] And I still think that Ted Cruz is going to pull it out.

[00:28:47] What say you?

[00:28:47] Well, and there's another half to that as well that's very interesting.

[00:28:53] All Red is supposedly spending $100 million.

[00:28:58] The opposite side of that is Mitch McConnell has sent Ted Cruz zero.

[00:29:04] Yep.

[00:29:05] So that tells you something.

[00:29:09] And I believe this race is not the traditional Democrat versus Republican race, but it's a globalist versus nationalist race or American race.

[00:29:21] And if we lose to Harris, we'll proceed toward a more global government and lose our sovereignty.

[00:29:29] Donald Trump is the candidate that can preserve our sovereignty and extend our liberty according to the Constitution going forward.

[00:29:40] And to me, there's never been a clearer choice in my lifetime than there is this year.

[00:29:46] And I do think that – you can tell me if I'm right or wrong, but I do believe that even though they could have done a better job of putting things in place so that there could not be the preponderance of cheating that I believe occurred in 2020,

[00:30:02] but I think there's enough checks and balances to reduce it to a level that if people on our side go out and vote, let's say if the majority of gun owners would simply join the ranks and vote,

[00:30:17] and the majority of Christians would get out there and vote according to their biblical beliefs,

[00:30:22] not because they don't like Trump because he cursed once or twice or because when he was young he attracted a lot of women.

[00:30:29] I think those kinds of reasons that you hear from Christians are very childish and don't speak well about their intelligence either.

[00:30:38] What say you?

[00:30:39] Well, yes, and we have to put aside his style.

[00:30:46] And Donald Trump's from New York.

[00:30:48] I'm from Texas.

[00:30:49] His style is different than mine.

[00:30:50] He does things differently than I would, but it's the policies that he wants to implement, did implement, that I like better than the other choice.

[00:31:02] And so I have to excuse the difference in style for that.

[00:31:07] He's a bare-knuckle New York fighter who had to fight to build businesses there and around the world.

[00:31:14] And so we need someone who can lead the United States and be strong because for the last four years we've exhibited nothing but weakness in the world.

[00:31:26] All they respect is strength.

[00:31:29] And we're seeing the fruit of that weakness in the Ukraine.

[00:31:33] We're seeing it in Israel, other places around the world with the Chinese looking to take Taiwan.

[00:31:40] And we need someone that can stand up against that and protect us with a good national security strategy.

[00:31:49] Yeah, you're right.

[00:31:50] But you know something?

[00:31:51] When you were talking, the thought popped in my mind about, let's say if Christians today were an authority back in the time of King David or King Solomon or during the time of Paul,

[00:32:07] do you know that by Christian standards today, neither one of those men would be considered for public office or would be viewed in a positive light at all?

[00:32:16] They would be just cast off the way many Christians today want to cast off President Trump.

[00:32:22] But it was King David.

[00:32:24] God called a man after his own heart, despite the horrible things that he did.

[00:32:29] And you look at President Trump today, and I used to live in New York, by the way,

[00:32:34] and all I heard about with people that knew him were the wonderful things that he would do for people in private.

[00:32:40] And many times you find people with that kind of a personality like Trump, who's not phony.

[00:32:46] They're amongst the most kind people on earth in a private setting.

[00:32:52] And then you find people that walk around sounding like Joel Osteen.

[00:32:57] God loves you.

[00:32:58] Yes, indeed.

[00:33:00] All you have to do is come to Jesus.

[00:33:02] And they're some of the most unkind, disingenuine people on earth.

[00:33:06] So, you know, people need to, in my humble opinion, upgrade their discernment and a look at reality.

[00:33:16] I'd love to get your take on that.

[00:33:18] Well, yes.

[00:33:19] And one of the things that the current administration and the vice president are being accused of is being inactive on the world stage and inactive.

[00:33:30] We see this in the hurricane relief.

[00:33:31] They're not involved in seeing what's going on.

[00:33:35] And I'm going to relate a story, a secondhand story, because I did business with a Trump organization years ago.

[00:33:42] And I had a meeting three weeks before 9-11 in Trump Tower with his director of security.

[00:33:48] And we were negotiating an agreement.

[00:33:51] And he told me that at that time, Donald Trump would sign every check for his company.

[00:33:57] And he knew the details and the involvement of everything that was going on.

[00:34:03] And because of him knowing what was going on, the employees respected and worked better because he was overseeing and directing them with a hands-on management approach versus a hands-off approach.

[00:34:17] And to me, that's something we need, especially with our debt and deficit that we have, the looseness going on with our military and with our international relations.

[00:34:30] We need someone that will be proactively involved with a strategy to help America succeed.

[00:34:37] Yeah.

[00:34:38] And I do believe that Mr. Trump will be elected.

[00:34:41] But we have to look beyond President Trump.

[00:34:45] The only other person I see on the horizon that has the chutzpah to stand up and the intelligence to stand up to the opposition to a high-quality level, at least so far, is J.D. Vance, who hails from my home state of Ohio.

[00:35:03] I mean, when you hear him and you watch him in his interviews and you see how the leftist interviewers try to chew him up and he just intellectually just batters them back.

[00:35:14] And he has a different style than Trump, but he is no pushover and he's very intelligent and he just, you know, he just clamps them down.

[00:35:23] And I bring him up because, you know, Trump's going to only be in there for four years and we have to look beyond that.

[00:35:31] And 28 is coming up as well.

[00:35:34] And do you think that he would be a good next step?

[00:35:37] Well, I like J.D. Vance, and you're correct.

[00:35:40] I think he is as strong as 40 acres of garlic, as we say down here sometimes.

[00:35:45] But I don't think we're limited to just one person.

[00:35:50] I think Ron DeSantis is a very exceptional governor, Greg Abbott here in Texas.

[00:35:56] The Republican side, there are many people who I think are qualified.

[00:36:02] And that's the good thing for us because who knows in the next two to four years what will happen.

[00:36:08] But I think we're seeing right now how strong J.D. Vance is with the way that people are trying to attack him.

[00:36:17] It was very interesting when he came out.

[00:36:20] They started calling him weird and they would attack him.

[00:36:23] But once he started pushing back and making them look small or unintelligent, if you will, they've kind of paused right now.

[00:36:33] I think they're trying to figure out how do we go after this guy and take him out because he has the possibility to be involved for 30 or 40 years from now.

[00:36:44] Yeah, yeah.

[00:36:45] And they're scared because they think to the future too.

[00:36:49] And in fact, the left has done a better job of thinking to the future than folks on our side.

[00:36:56] Because in many cases, you'll have Republicans, they'll get a victory and then they'll rest on their laurels.

[00:37:03] And while they're resting on their laurels, the left never stops.

[00:37:07] They just keep going and going and going like ever Eddie Bunnies running all over the place.

[00:37:12] And we have to become more unified.

[00:37:14] We have to become more steadfast and not lazy.

[00:37:19] I mean, we've been politically lazy on our side.

[00:37:21] Let's be honest.

[00:37:22] And the church has not been, for the most part, there are exceptions like Pastor Jeffords, but for the most part, the church has been a very abysmal help meet in the fight to restore this republic.

[00:37:36] Well, yes, that's correct.

[00:37:38] And so many of the churches abide by neutrality where they won't let people come in and speak because they have tax-free status.

[00:37:47] But yet the churches on the left will bring in liberal speakers and no one will ever stand up to them about what they're doing from a partisan standpoint.

[00:37:59] And we have to remember that the left is the party of government.

[00:38:03] So they have a vested interest in always trying to grow government.

[00:38:08] But you're correct.

[00:38:09] We have to stand up against it and try to enforce and limit things to the Constitution.

[00:38:15] That's our greatest bulwark against government encroachment.

[00:38:20] And preserving liberty is to try to preserve the Constitution and its limitations on government.

[00:38:27] What is your take on the fact that, you know, you have all these illegals pouring into our country with the permission of Uncle Joe's administration and Aunt Harris's administration?

[00:38:42] And Bill Clinton just said the other day that we need all these immigrants here to replace because Americans don't have a high birth rate.

[00:38:50] Well, it's people like Clinton and that entire left brigade that convinced Americans that they should kill off their babies.

[00:38:58] And so now they're bringing in at a higher clip than a high birth rate these illegals to replace we the people because they want to transform this country, in my opinion, into a, well, as Trump would call it, an asshole, a third world asshole.

[00:39:17] What say you?

[00:39:19] Well, I think you're correct.

[00:39:21] I could talk for hours about the illegal alien situation.

[00:39:24] I've been to the border.

[00:39:26] I was married to a lady for 20 years from Laredo, Texas.

[00:39:29] So I've been on both sides of the border, up and down Texas for the 1,254 miles.

[00:39:36] Illegal immigration threatens our national security, health security, and economic security.

[00:39:42] And I think you have a break coming up, so I'd like to comment further when we get back.

[00:39:48] Okay.

[00:39:49] We'll hold you over for a couple of minutes after the break because I want to get your final comments on that.

[00:42:34] Who are you?

[00:42:41] But anyway, you're listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience with our guest today, Richard Battle.

[00:42:47] Great author and writer of 11 books.

[00:42:50] And he's done a wonderful job.

[00:42:52] Looking in the chat line, we've got in the chat room, Gretchen, she sent in a, boy, here's something that's really not exciting, but kind of alerting.

[00:43:05] North Korea just blew up the railway going to South Korea.

[00:43:10] And that's not good news.

[00:43:12] And she's right.

[00:43:13] She says that only Trump can solve it.

[00:43:15] And among us humans, I think you're right, Gretchen.

[00:43:18] Anyway, let's get back to our guest, Richard Battle.

[00:43:21] Great author.

[00:43:22] Welcome back, Richard.

[00:43:24] And, man, what say you about this?

[00:43:26] I mean, these kinds of events have been happening all over the world, by the way.

[00:43:31] And here's something for you, Richard.

[00:43:34] The Biden administration is demanding Israel increase aid to Gaza.

[00:43:38] Now, is that retarded or what?

[00:43:40] I mean, tell me.

[00:43:41] Tell me something here.

[00:43:43] Well, I'm going to relate it to a story from 1946.

[00:43:47] Chiang Kai-shek was pushing the communists out of China and had them on the ropes.

[00:43:53] And George Marshall, secretary of state, put the pressure on them to pause their actions, which allowed the communists to regroup and actually win and take over the mainland and force Chiang Kai-shek to Taiwan.

[00:44:08] And to me, that's the perfect analogy to what's going on right now.

[00:44:12] Netanyahu is pursuing and prosecuting this war toward victory.

[00:44:17] And yet the Americans are hobbling him at every turn and trying to prevent him from doing it, which will give Hezbollah and the Iranians who were funding the opportunity to regroup and become stronger and go after Israel again.

[00:44:34] And that's something I don't understand.

[00:44:37] You know, America is a great nation, but she has a retarded government.

[00:44:42] And this has been going on since the years of McCarthy, you know, Joseph McCarthy.

[00:44:48] He warned America about the communists and everything that was going on.

[00:44:54] And Edward R. Murrow and the great journalist of that day were calling him all kinds of names.

[00:45:01] They were calling him extreme.

[00:45:02] That's the big number they put on people when you tell the truth.

[00:45:06] And here we are.

[00:45:08] I mean, these things continue to this very day.

[00:45:11] And it cracks me up, sir, when folks say that, well, I remember 30, 40, 50 years ago and, you know, journalism was this, that and the other.

[00:45:19] No, it wasn't.

[00:45:20] They just had a better presentation.

[00:45:22] That's all.

[00:45:23] They were telling us a bunch of lies, both capital S with a hit then.

[00:45:27] And it's just gotten worse.

[00:45:29] But it was pretty bad back then during the days of Walter Cronkite of CBS News.

[00:45:34] They were still lying to us back then.

[00:45:36] The Warren Commission?

[00:45:38] Do you need me to get started on that?

[00:45:40] I don't have time, but I think you get my drift, sir.

[00:45:44] Well, I agree wholeheartedly.

[00:45:45] Back when communications and news was more limited, it was much easier to control.

[00:45:50] And in America, it wasn't controlled as much as in the Soviet Union, but it was controlled.

[00:45:57] And we see people like Hillary Clinton whining today about not having total control of the media because of programs like this, X, other social media where people can freely exchange information.

[00:46:13] And so you have someone on a news broadcast broadcast something and then a citizen be able to post something that shows it's a total lie.

[00:46:22] And that's why the left is scared to death of that and scared of us knowing about it and utilizing it to get the truth out.

[00:46:32] Yeah.

[00:46:33] Well, sir, I want to thank you so much for joining us this day.

[00:46:36] And we're going to have you back and we're going to talk more about get more into your books because I've been told how wonderful they are and everything.

[00:46:44] And I want to get into some of them in a deep manner and have you back in the near future.

[00:46:49] So I'll have Doug line you up for a return visit.

[00:46:54] And I look forward to our next conversation, sir.

[00:46:57] It'd be my pleasure.

[00:46:58] God bless America.

[00:47:00] Amen.

[00:47:01] Amen.

[00:47:01] Thank you so much, sir.

[00:47:03] There he goes.

[00:47:03] Great.

[00:47:04] Another great American.

[00:47:05] Yep.

[00:47:06] A lot of them in Texas.

[00:47:07] Well, folks, President Trump, he spoke to the Economic Club of Chicago, Chicago, the toddler in town.

[00:47:16] And he says the most beautiful word in the dictionary is tariff.

[00:47:20] And I get what he means.

[00:47:22] I get what he means.

[00:47:22] If you go back to the time of President McKinley, another one that the left took out because he was a strict constitutionalist and he used tariffs on an awful lot to secure America's position as an economic power.

[00:47:37] Because, you know, let's face it.

[00:47:40] As is today and as is during the time of McKinley, the world has always been trying to work against America and use our generosity and kindness and openness to our disadvantage.

[00:47:51] But people like McKinley and Trump, President Reagan and a few others here and there sprinkled in for good measure, have stood up for American values.

[00:48:00] And when you use tariffs instead of sanctions, which the Biden administration has been stupidly using, you know, when you use sanctions, all you do is piss countries off and they are throwing off the American dollar and replacing it with gold.

[00:48:16] That's all they're doing.

[00:48:17] And see, the Biden administration understands that.

[00:48:19] Those evil, wicked bastards, they know which, you know, from which harm that they're doing by throwing sanctions against countries.

[00:48:30] And it weakens our dollar, puts us in a weaker position.

[00:48:33] But if we would use tariffs, if you really want economic growth, you have to get rid of or at least make our corporate tax the lowest in the world.

[00:48:42] I told this, you know, to President Trump.

[00:48:45] All you have to do is make our corporate tax the lowest in the world.

[00:48:49] If you see one at 3%, make ours 2%, etc.

[00:48:52] And use tariffs.

[00:48:54] Those two things together, bammo.

[00:48:57] It's curtains.

[00:48:58] Because we have superior workers, in my opinion.

[00:49:02] And we know what we're doing.

[00:49:04] We're very creative as a nation when the economy is allowed to grow and prosper.

[00:49:10] And you leave us alone, government.

[00:49:12] So we can do our thing and create a truly great, you know, prosperous nation.

[00:49:21] And when it comes to pollution, you know, the left always comes about talking about pollution and the need for green energy and all of that.

[00:49:28] That's a bunch of baloney.

[00:49:30] Because through prosperity, guess what?

[00:49:33] You can utilize – it encourages you to become more innovative.

[00:49:41] And you can utilize and clean up coal and gas and petroleum to the point where it's cleaner.

[00:49:50] It is literally cleaner than these awful windmills.

[00:49:55] More efficient.

[00:49:57] And much better than the, you know, those panels that they put on your houses that were all blown off in North Carolina and Florida, by the way.

[00:50:07] Blown to smithereens.

[00:50:08] And they're very harmful to the earth.

[00:50:12] You ever seen those fields of those panels when you're driving in the country and you see those huge fields where farms used to be growing our food?

[00:50:22] You know, it kills the earth.

[00:50:24] Because there's residual chemicals that come off of those awful panels.

[00:50:30] And even if you remove them, the earth is damaged.

[00:50:34] And you don't want to – you wouldn't want to grow food there.

[00:50:37] And see, a lot of this stuff is by design.

[00:50:40] Have you ever noticed whenever the left comes up with a solution, it is always a pain in the backside and it brings more misery?

[00:50:48] That is why they came after ivermectin and they pushed rindisivir, which killed murdered people in hospitals during the coronavirus situation.

[00:50:59] That's just one tiny example.

[00:51:02] Remember back, I think it was during the 80s that they were pushing natural gas.

[00:51:07] Now, they pushed that one not realizing it would be an actual fix.

[00:51:13] So a lot of – well, not a lot, but several cities in the United States, Cleveland being one of them, transformed their buses from diesel to natural gas.

[00:51:25] Then the leftists realized, oh, wait a minute.

[00:51:27] That's a real solution.

[00:51:28] There's no pollution and it's quiet, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

[00:51:32] And it's not creating a burden.

[00:51:34] Do you know they lobbied and worked against it in those same cities that switched over to natural gas had to go back to diesel?

[00:51:46] Because they went to the courts, the leftists went to the courts and they switched back over to diesel?

[00:51:51] Because they realized, oh my gosh, this is a real solution.

[00:51:55] Heavens to Murgatroyd.

[00:51:56] We've got to destroy this.

[00:51:58] And the left never comes up with a solution that is a real solution in the long run.

[00:52:03] That's why you will never see mass-produced nuclear-powered cars.

[00:52:08] And I think that would be a solution beyond.

[00:52:13] And then when the car breaks down, you have to get rid of it.

[00:52:17] All they have to do is go inside, take the nuclear pill out, boom, put it in another car, in a new car.

[00:52:24] You talk about recycling and you talk about being very efficient.

[00:52:29] But see, that is a solution that brings about, you know, that's based upon creativity and thinking.

[00:52:40] But the left is not about creativity and thinking.

[00:52:43] They're about coming up with ideas and scheming.

[00:52:49] They're about scheming, not real ideas that bring about true solutions.

[00:52:53] And what a shame.

[00:52:54] Oh well, oh well.

[00:52:56] Now that I see that my time is up, thank you so much for your time.

[00:53:03] That's all, folks.

[00:53:05] To exit stage right.

[00:53:08] And as I always say at this time, my friends, remember to pray for your nation, pray for your family, pray for your friends, and even your enemies, that they get it right before it's too late.

[00:53:19] And treat others the same way you would want to be treated.

[00:53:22] I'm Ron Edwards, and man, oh man, we'll be back tomorrow, God willing.

[00:53:29] Until tomorrow.

[00:53:29] Bye now.
