[00:00:00] Hi, I'm Pete Cunningham of Black Mrs. Lighthouse Radio Ministries

[00:00:05] and you're listening to Ron Edwards American Experience

[00:00:12] With the show, this is it

[00:00:23] 2, 1

[00:00:25] And away we go

[00:00:39] 2, 1

[00:00:41] And away we go

[00:01:36] 3, 1,

[00:02:06] And away we go

[00:02:36] 3, 1,

[00:03:06] Motherhood and community well-being

[00:03:08] We'll be talking about more of that

[00:03:10] with our upcoming guest in a bit

[00:03:12] But first, my goodness gracious, a life

[00:03:15] Lots of things going on

[00:03:17] A lot of it, not too good

[00:03:22] Right now let's go right here

[00:03:24] I'm gonna go right here

[00:03:28] I tell you my friends

[00:03:30] It is really really really disappointing

[00:03:33] When you look across the landscape

[00:03:36] of these United States of America

[00:03:38] $95 million in foreign aid

[00:03:44] I'm sorry, $95 billion

[00:03:46] in foreign aid and nothing for our border

[00:03:48] Once again

[00:03:50] Republican voters

[00:03:52] How are they gonna be trusting

[00:03:54] our Republican politicians

[00:03:57] as we approach election day

[00:03:59] in the United States of America?

[00:04:01] How?

[00:04:02] Many Republicans have bent over

[00:04:04] and grabbed their ankles

[00:04:06] and said, hey Democrats do whatever you want

[00:04:08] to the American people

[00:04:11] Shame for shame for shame

[00:04:13] Not one dime, not even one penny

[00:04:15] Going towards a new border wall

[00:04:19] And speaking of border walls

[00:04:21] we need one on the northern border

[00:04:23] Record numbers of illegal border crosses

[00:04:25] are streaming into our Republic

[00:04:27] from both ends now

[00:04:29] both north and south

[00:04:31] Just a month ago it was over 200

[00:04:33] Oh two months ago it was over 200

[00:04:35] In the month of April

[00:04:37] over 500 streamed over

[00:04:39] Those were the ones that were caught

[00:04:41] talking about the northern border

[00:04:43] We really have to get our

[00:04:47] act together in this country

[00:04:49] when it comes to our border

[00:04:52] Remember Scarf Lady

[00:04:54] Dr. Deborah Birx

[00:04:56] with massive confession

[00:04:58] regarding the shots

[00:05:00] She says, oh yeah

[00:05:02] Shots were not good for people

[00:05:06] And guess what?

[00:05:08] She knew that they were not good for people

[00:05:10] During this coronavirus

[00:05:12] scandemic there were a few big names

[00:05:14] we saw on our televisions daily

[00:05:16] One of those was Scarf Lady

[00:05:18] former White House

[00:05:20] Coronavirus Response Coordinator

[00:05:22] Known as Scarf Lady

[00:05:24] along with her friend

[00:05:26] and co-conspirator

[00:05:28] Dr. Anthony Fauci

[00:05:30] and a gang of other vaccine pushers

[00:05:32] However it seems she's

[00:05:34] changed her tone regarding the jab

[00:05:36] Now she's telling the truth

[00:05:38] She says, oh yeah

[00:05:40] It was harmful

[00:05:42] It wasn't good for people

[00:05:44] But hey

[00:05:46] Just like most of the politicians in our Republic

[00:05:48] They don't give a rip

[00:05:50] about we the people

[00:05:52] This was all about an experimentation

[00:05:54] of control

[00:05:56] And Dr. Birx

[00:05:58] Dr. Fauci

[00:06:00] Most American politicians

[00:06:02] that supported

[00:06:04] everything that was foisted upon we the people

[00:06:06] They were shocked

[00:06:08] that so many millions of Americans

[00:06:10] did not fight back harder

[00:06:12] against what they were foisting upon we the people

[00:06:14] Well

[00:06:18] I tell you

[00:06:20] As the days go by

[00:06:23] Mr.

[00:06:25] I'm sorry, I can't call him Mr.

[00:06:27] But little Mikey Johnson

[00:06:29] the Speaker of the House promises to protect

[00:06:31] hired gun Jack Smith

[00:06:33] After he survived

[00:06:35] Marjorie Taylor Greene's

[00:06:37] Motion to Vacate

[00:06:39] And you wonder why people like Marjorie

[00:06:41] Taylor Greene were so upset

[00:06:43] and wanted to get rid of

[00:06:45] Mikey Johnson

[00:06:47] This guy is now saying

[00:06:49] well I'll make sure I use the power

[00:06:51] of my office to protect

[00:06:53] Jack Smith

[00:06:55] a known liar

[00:06:57] Globalist supporter

[00:06:59] who's number one mission

[00:07:01] is to try to destroy

[00:07:03] President Trump

[00:07:07] My goodness

[00:07:09] This is really sick stuff

[00:07:11] This substantiates

[00:07:13] even more so

[00:07:15] credibility

[00:07:17] on Marjorie Taylor Greene's

[00:07:19] effort to oust him

[00:07:21] Now I understand it wasn't the best timing

[00:07:25] Because Republicans

[00:07:27] would be endangered

[00:07:29] But wait a minute, they were already

[00:07:31] Endangering America

[00:07:33] by

[00:07:35] Continuing to compromise with Democrats anyway

[00:07:39] So in a sense based upon what they were doing

[00:07:41] it wouldn't have made any difference

[00:07:43] if Mike Johnson were kicked out

[00:07:47] And Hakeem Jeffries would have taken

[00:07:49] control

[00:07:52] But of course there were measures to be put in place

[00:07:54] so that Hakeem Jeffries couldn't be

[00:07:56] put in place if Marjorie Taylor Greene

[00:07:58] and the rest

[00:08:00] stood their ground

[00:08:02] and they ousted him the right way

[00:08:06] Because as it stands

[00:08:08] Mike Johnson is doing the exact

[00:08:10] same things that Hakeem Jeffries would be

[00:08:12] doing

[00:08:14] There may be one thing

[00:08:16] that little Mikey may not do

[00:08:18] And that is

[00:08:20] he may not join

[00:08:22] with Democrats after the election

[00:08:24] in the effort to

[00:08:26] not certify the election

[00:08:28] and there's nothing he may not do

[00:08:30] But everything else the Democrats have wanted

[00:08:32] up to this second

[00:08:34] Little Mikey has said, okay

[00:08:36] whatever you want

[00:08:38] And he has been in a position

[00:08:40] in several of these issues

[00:08:42] to put the deciding vote

[00:08:44] and put the cabash

[00:08:46] on a lot of things that the Democrats

[00:08:48] have been wanting to push

[00:08:50] and of course some rhinos

[00:08:52] And I've talked about spending measures

[00:08:54] The trillions and trillions

[00:08:56] have nothing to do

[00:08:58] with promoting U.S. interests

[00:09:00] protecting we the people

[00:09:02] stimulating our economy

[00:09:04] Because I'm going to tell you

[00:09:06] Remember those stimulus packages

[00:09:08] that they spent

[00:09:10] to help Americans during the

[00:09:12] coronavirus?

[00:09:14] All in the long run it did not

[00:09:16] help What should have been done

[00:09:18] during that period

[00:09:20] was taxes should have been even lowered

[00:09:22] more

[00:09:24] That's how you stimulate an economy

[00:09:26] And then on the back end guess what happens

[00:09:28] Everyone makes money

[00:09:30] more money the government takes in

[00:09:32] more money because the economy is more active

[00:09:34] But see leftist

[00:09:36] like most government officials

[00:09:38] don't like to do things that make it easier

[00:09:42] Especially transitionally for we the people

[00:09:44] they love to do things

[00:09:46] even if it's a solution

[00:09:48] in a way that it is

[00:09:50] a more of a burden

[00:09:54] I mean that seems to be the nature

[00:09:56] of American government today

[00:09:58] It's no more the motto

[00:10:00] living by the motto of

[00:10:02] American ingenuity

[00:10:04] American know-how

[00:10:06] American will

[00:10:08] It's more about American government

[00:10:10] being a pain in the backside

[00:10:12] to we the people

[00:10:14] That's what they lived it

[00:10:16] How can we make things more

[00:10:18] of a drag

[00:10:20] for the American people

[00:10:22] than we do

[00:10:24] Including this two mile long

[00:10:26] of column of people that I'm looking

[00:10:28] at streaming towards this republic

[00:10:30] as I speak

[00:10:32] Two mile long stream of people

[00:10:34] Give me a break

[00:10:36] We'll get one

[00:10:38] But we'll be back after the break

[00:13:43] Hi I'm Denise Edwards of Come Ministry and we're thankful for the Ron Edwards American

[00:14:03] experience.

[00:14:36] Welcome back.

[00:14:37] This is the Ron Edwards American Experience and I'm Ron Edwards and I'm thankful

[00:14:41] for Come Ministry and it's worldwide ministry of prayer for not only the United States but

[00:14:48] countries around the world including Great Britain especially.

[00:14:53] Well my friends she's back.

[00:14:55] Her name is Denise Edwards, she heads up Come Ministry and she's a great lady.

[00:14:59] She's a senior chaplain at GCU Academy and she does lots of wonderful things including

[00:15:06] has always been a fantastic mom.

[00:15:08] We're going to be talking about Mother's Day as well as other subjects but we're going

[00:15:11] to creatively wind through issues of the day as well as celebrating mothers.

[00:15:19] How about that?

[00:15:21] Hello Denise and welcome back.

[00:15:23] Well, welcome to you too.

[00:15:25] Thank you for having me.

[00:15:26] Oh yeah it's always a great time when you're around and even on our show.

[00:15:32] Well, you know let's get to it.

[00:15:34] I want to just share a little bit of American Mother's Day history.

[00:15:39] In fact Mother's Day is celebrated all over the world in different countries so when it's

[00:15:43] time for you and your nation to celebrate Mother's Day big thumbs up and we celebrate

[00:15:49] great moms all over the world.

[00:15:52] The origins significance and history of Mother's Day in the United States are deeply

[00:15:57] intertwined with the nation's history and social movements following the American

[00:16:01] Civil War.

[00:16:03] It was basically created by Anne Reeves Jarvis.

[00:16:08] After her passing her daughter Anna Jarvis embarked on a mission to commemorate her mother's

[00:16:13] achievements and invaluable role of mothers in society.

[00:16:17] Her efforts were rooted in the desire to fulfill her mother's dream of establishing

[00:16:21] a day dedicated to recognizing the sacrifices and contributions of mothers.

[00:16:26] The inaugural Mother's Day celebration on May 10th 1908 in Grafton, West Virginia and

[00:16:33] simultaneously in Philadelphia was a direct manifestation of Anna Jarvis' dedication.

[00:16:41] The date was symbolically chosen to align with the anniversary month of Anne Reeves

[00:16:46] Jarvis' death serving as a tribute to her life and the broader concept of maternal

[00:16:51] appreciation.

[00:16:54] And Denise you had a great mom.

[00:16:56] I consider her to be, she asked me did I want to call her mom, mother, it was something

[00:17:03] else and I said you're a great mom so I'm just going to call you mom.

[00:17:07] And she was a great lady and boy we still miss her every single day don't we?

[00:17:12] Oh absolutely, absolutely I surely do.

[00:17:16] Yeah she was very very kind and had a great laugh, had a great sense of humor

[00:17:22] and what I really liked about your mom, she and I vehemently disagreed for

[00:17:28] instance politically but it was never nasty between she and I.

[00:17:33] She stuck to what she believed in, I stuck to what I believed in but in fact

[00:17:38] it improved our relationship because it got us communicating with each other and

[00:17:42] the love grew from there and she called me her son and that was fine for me.

[00:17:50] Yeah mom was good for things like that.

[00:17:52] She was more of a peacemaker than confrontational but you always, you know,

[00:17:57] you still knew where you stood with her.

[00:17:59] She wasn't backing down on her opinions but at the same time she like I said

[00:18:03] she was never mean or nasty about her opinions.

[00:18:08] She always had grace differing opinions.

[00:18:11] Yeah but she was a pretty strong lady too.

[00:18:14] I mean she was able to take on a potential burglar with a dish rack.

[00:18:19] Tell us about that story.

[00:18:20] Oh my God!

[00:18:23] Oh Lord you're really going back.

[00:18:25] This was even before you, this was, gosh my daughter had to been,

[00:18:29] I don't know if she was even 10 at this point but yeah this was on a summer day

[00:18:34] when you would often keep the front door open but you would have the screen

[00:18:39] in between, you know outside in the door and I remember one night we were

[00:18:45] in the kitchen and my dad was sitting in the recliner and there was a sound

[00:18:50] out front and my mom in her feisty way grabs the dish towel, all things,

[00:18:58] she was doing the dishes and she grabs the dish towel at this point it's dark

[00:19:02] outside just I just kind of want to set the setting for you wasn't,

[00:19:07] you know even dust.

[00:19:08] It was dark and she goes racing toward the front door because she heard

[00:19:13] somebody out messing with a vehicle or whatever you couldn't tell from

[00:19:17] inside that was exactly what it was and so I was, my dad was sitting in the recliner

[00:19:23] and I ran and I said dad, dad mom's running out there to chase something

[00:19:29] she was going to see what it was and he just kept rocking.

[00:19:32] I said dad don't you want to go help?

[00:19:33] He says nope you should at least have one pair.

[00:19:36] I said I'm going to run.

[00:19:38] I said I'm going to run.

[00:19:40] I said I'm going to run.

[00:19:42] I said I'm going to run.

[00:19:44] I ran out there and sure enough it was a guy trying to break in and steal the

[00:19:49] car in front of the house and my mom started waving at this rag and

[00:19:53] that dish towel and started screaming at him and it frightened him

[00:19:57] and he ran away and I just, I have always to that day I have always

[00:20:02] laughed about that and I just, I mean he was just like nope you got to have at

[00:20:06] least one pair.

[00:20:08] And he had a great sense of humor himself but.

[00:20:12] Oh my god yeah he left mom and my mother came for the people who were

[00:20:16] listening my mother was four foot eleven this is not a big woman you know she

[00:20:22] was like a hundred pounds wet and so we talked about a little lady who

[00:20:27] was racing out the door with nothing but a dish towel and I guess she was so

[00:20:32] loud and just he didn't expect it and thank you you know I always figured the

[00:20:37] word revealed her angel more than anything and that's probably what he

[00:20:41] saw because four foot eleven and a hundred pounds was not enough to stop

[00:20:45] much of anything but she did and we'd laughed about that for many years afterwards.

[00:20:51] Yeah one good story I have in regards to my mom

[00:20:56] when I was little about six years old you know I always wanted to get on the

[00:21:02] big roller coasters it was a Euclid Beach Park in Cleveland and until I was six

[00:21:09] years old I was never tall enough to get on and the next year when I turned six

[00:21:14] I was tall enough to get on I was so excited and mom was the first one to

[00:21:19] take me on the roller coaster and once you took me on I'll never forget

[00:21:22] it was called the racing coaster and it was always two coasters going up at the

[00:21:26] same time and we'd be racing and when the coasters were side by side you got to

[00:21:31] actually reach out and touch each other's hands and from the competing

[00:21:37] trains and so that was a fun memory and she's the one that broke me in on

[00:21:42] roller coasters and I have loved amusement parks ever since and you

[00:21:47] know that's a great memory yes yes and you still love them yes you are oh yeah

[00:21:54] I try to convince you to get on some roller coasters but you're not when we

[00:22:00] first started dating used to get on them and and you know I love Cedar Point but

[00:22:05] now I go for the French fry that's it that's about it maybe the merry-go-round

[00:22:12] I do love the raptor I do I will get on the Raptor probably too many times I'm almost throwing up

[00:22:19] but yeah I love the French fries with the apple cider vinegar

[00:22:23] yeah buddy that's the reason I go to Cedar Point

[00:22:26] oh yes Cedar Point yeah but I tell you moms really mean so much to society

[00:22:34] even Abraham Lincoln thought so much of mothers he said that the hand that

[00:22:38] rocks the cradle is determining it determines which way a nation takes in

[00:22:44] its next generation and mothers are so important and how they shape the young

[00:22:49] folks and unfortunately in our society mothers are not aware of how

[00:22:56] important they are they need to read the word of God I think you know and

[00:23:01] and really reestablish the importance of mothers in our society and maybe they

[00:23:07] wouldn't think so much in our society today about throwing their babies away

[00:23:12] via abortion etc etc etc would say you know I think a lot of right order has to be

[00:23:19] restored you know I don't have a problem with having you as my head I'm

[00:23:24] fine with that you know as we grow and we learn and mature you know the

[00:23:29] Bible says submit yourself unto your husband as he submits to Christ and the

[00:23:32] more you submit it to Christ the easier it was for me to submit to you and I

[00:23:36] think that if people will work at learning biblical principles and actually

[00:23:42] living them out there really is so many blessings in that but you know you

[00:23:47] have to be willing to do your part but I think having a great father in the

[00:23:51] house and having having a great mother in the house is still the best

[00:23:55] recipe for any child I know nowadays they make any combo a family but you know

[00:24:04] you can supersize it you can do whatever we want with it now but I like God's

[00:24:09] original plan I think children thrive better statistically girls are less

[00:24:14] promiscuous boys tend to be less rebellious with a father in the house

[00:24:18] they tends to be less or zero drug use there's just a lot more structure

[00:24:24] for children when they have both parents in the house is an undeniable truth

[00:24:29] and I would love to see us get back to that just celebrating motherhood and

[00:24:34] celebrating fatherhood as God originally intended absolutely and we'll be

[00:24:39] doing a more celebrating Mother's Day on this to run Edwards American

[00:26:14] USA is no longer a Christian nation that wasn't the first time the

[00:26:17] anti-Christian bigots tried to kick God out of our Republic hello I'm Ron Edwards

[00:26:22] on the day's pace from yours novel brought to you by constitutional

[00:26:25] grounds coffee right after the American Revolution the impact of

[00:26:29] Christianity crashed dramatically church attendance dropped to near nothing

[00:26:33] French rationalism swept over colleges which became hotbeds of atheism and

[00:26:38] 1787 anti-Christian bigotry was so profound that when Gary Allen a student

[00:26:43] at a Hampton Sydney embraced Christ along with two others they had to keep

[00:26:47] their faith a secret to avoid being attacked by the other students

[00:26:52] chief justice John Marshall warned the church was too far gone to be redeemed

[00:26:56] however in time there was a renaissance of Christian faith which helped

[00:27:00] fuel America's rise to the top and becoming the envy of the world today

[00:27:04] faith in Jesus Christ is on the wane and as a result so is our

[00:27:08] Republic Ronald Reagan warned if America doesn't remain one nation

[00:27:12] under God she would become one nation gone under

[00:29:29] The Ron Edwards American Experience Talk Show

[00:29:33] As long as there is breath in me I will preach your holy name

[00:29:37] Always giving thanks and praising his holy name

[00:29:41] This is the Ron Edwards American Experience. I'm Ron Edwards

[00:29:45] and welcome. As we celebrate Mother's Day

[00:29:49] you know the relentless campaign by Anna Jarvis to have Mother's

[00:29:53] Day recognized as a national holiday in the United States

[00:29:57] and to be able to fully pay off through our magnificent efforts

[00:30:01] including a massive letter writing campaign to politicians, business leaders

[00:30:05] and women's groups. The one good thing that President Woodrow Wilson did

[00:30:09] he officially declared the second Sunday in May

[00:30:13] as Mother's Day in 1914. This declaration marked

[00:30:17] the culmination of Jarvis' vision to have a day dedicated

[00:30:21] to appreciating all mothers in America

[00:30:25] as we recognize Mother's Day together. But Denise

[00:30:29] before we get back into Mother's Day I've got to share a couple of headlines

[00:30:33] with you which I would like to get your response to

[00:30:37] One, a bit of good news. Tarje as I like to call it

[00:30:41] the Target Department Stores is limiting the LGBTQ

[00:30:45] alphabet community themed merchandise for

[00:30:49] Pride Month after a massive blowback and this has been

[00:30:53] one of the prayer angles of the prayer group.

[00:30:57] What say you? We are very pleased everyone in the

[00:31:01] Zekra25 unit is extremely pleased with that and you know

[00:31:05] sometimes it seems like we're just chipping away but it does make a difference

[00:31:09] and I think prayer as well as the grassroots

[00:31:13] response of parents you know they had the little

[00:31:17] private part disappearing patch or whatever I can't remember

[00:31:21] what they call it but they put the thing inside the swimsuit

[00:31:25] so you don't know what gender

[00:31:29] you know I guess and make sure a unisex individual or whatever

[00:31:33] and you know I'm glad the parents got upset. I'm glad they saw

[00:31:37] the lunacy I think their term was tuck

[00:31:41] of these tuck clothes so that people could hide

[00:31:45] that and not be recognized as one particular gender.

[00:31:49] This is madness and it's destruction of God's image

[00:31:53] it's destruction of sound family because I don't know

[00:31:57] how these people think that they're going to raise sound healthy children

[00:32:01] if you tell a child, you know if you think your boy even though you look like a girl

[00:32:05] and you have all the parts of the match a girl you probably are a boy

[00:32:09] what will that child ever trust? Please tell me what foundation

[00:32:13] what stability can anyone

[00:32:17] develop if you can't even look in the mirror and see female body parts

[00:32:21] and believe that is a female looking back

[00:32:25] at you in the mirror then what on earth how are you going to

[00:32:29] convince them that anything is of truth of

[00:32:33] reality? You certainly won't ever get them to convince there's a God

[00:32:37] that loves them because they would say well he told me I'm you know he made me one way

[00:32:41] and they told me that I'm another way so you certainly wouldn't believe in a God that would create

[00:32:45] that level of confusion even though we know that comes from Satan the God of this world

[00:32:49] system and it's just another lever

[00:32:53] that the enemy has pulled to try to destroy the image of God and destroy

[00:32:57] I believe the whole unit of a family structure.

[00:33:01] Yep that's so true one other thing

[00:33:05] General Motors Corporation

[00:33:09] you know there's only two viable US auto producers

[00:33:13] left that's General Motors, Ford

[00:33:17] and if you want to include Tesla I guess that's number three

[00:33:21] but only two American companies that produce

[00:33:25] automobiles that did not go bankrupt and that was Ford Motor Company

[00:33:29] and Tesla which was not even in existence

[00:33:33] where when the other companies went belly up or at least

[00:33:37] almost went belly up and

[00:33:41] here we are today Denise with Ford Motor Company saying you know what

[00:33:45] we're going to press on with this EV concept

[00:33:49] no General Motors I'm sorry General Motors said that we're going to continue to press on

[00:33:53] producing EV vehicles despite the

[00:33:57] fact that Ford Motor Company is losing $130,000

[00:34:01] or $132,000 with each vehicle sold

[00:34:05] that is all electric it's like

[00:34:09] the aspect of America is on a

[00:34:13] suicide mission including even auto producers like General Motors

[00:34:17] would say you. Unfortunately that's a very accurate

[00:34:21] description it is suicidal and I think that these people

[00:34:25] they've sold their souls for a complete deception

[00:34:29] and I can truly pray that people will

[00:34:33] get common sense back into the culture square in wisdom

[00:34:37] because they are not looking at this I mean anyone who lives in

[00:34:41] this part of the country anywhere in the Midwest knows a cold winter

[00:34:45] will cause those cars to be utterly blocked stop

[00:34:49] and unmoving rain can cause those cars

[00:34:53] to stop working batteries cost some of the batteries

[00:34:57] cost a third of the cost of the vehicle so the batteries are $24,000

[00:35:01] to replace it and when they do take

[00:35:05] the batteries out they put them in the ground and they destroy the environment

[00:35:09] so everything about it is buck teeth in reverse

[00:35:13] you need diesel fuel to fuel the charging stations that they say they want

[00:35:17] to put everywhere so it's all it's just a lie

[00:35:21] it's a deception and it's sad that General Motors is on the

[00:35:25] self-destruct mission like this. You know I want to get back to

[00:35:29] motherhood as we celebrate good mothers in our Republic

[00:35:33] and the history of motherhood and how important it has been

[00:35:37] especially in the formation and the growth of this

[00:35:41] Republic through the encouragement of mothers America did become

[00:35:45] the greatest nation in the history of the world because mothers

[00:35:49] traditionally along with the dads always tried

[00:35:53] to steer their children in the right way and encourage them to do

[00:35:57] what is right realizing that no one is perfect but

[00:36:01] mothers up until very recently did a wonderful job

[00:36:05] for the most part of instilling in American children

[00:36:09] the will and the desire to look

[00:36:13] towards the right way to do things

[00:36:17] they set that goal in our minds to be better people and to create a better society

[00:36:21] and in your estimation how do you think

[00:36:25] that we can get back to that

[00:36:29] to convince the young women of today to even

[00:36:33] want to be traditional mothers

[00:36:37] that is a really good question boy do I need any

[00:36:41] beer to break down and wisdom on that one

[00:36:45] obviously the first thing would be to get a sense of who they are in Christ

[00:36:49] I think a lot of these young women need to get healed and stop buying this lie

[00:36:53] that your life will only be

[00:36:57] the corporate ladder and you don't need no man and you don't need no baby and you don't

[00:37:01] need anything but yourself that is a very

[00:37:05] deceptive narrative and it leaves a lot of women

[00:37:09] a lot more women are depressed and unhappy and

[00:37:13] unfulfilled because again as you age

[00:37:17] your job those people forget about you so your position

[00:37:21] is refilled most companies forget about you

[00:37:25] so who is going to come and see about you as you get older

[00:37:29] who is going to sit by your side and I know a lot of young women buy this

[00:37:33] oh I got my girl friends but I think that

[00:37:37] that is a poor substitute and I am not denigrating

[00:37:41] I love the ladies of God as places in my life that are true friends

[00:37:45] but at the same time I don't pull sheets with them

[00:37:49] I pull sheets with you and it is

[00:37:53] by my side and it does bring a

[00:37:57] comfort it brings a fulfillment you know we know somebody

[00:38:01] both personally who didn't think they needed to get married

[00:38:05] and now that they are in a very serious relationship that is headed toward

[00:38:09] marriage they are like man I never knew I wanted something as much

[00:38:13] as this because I never thought I needed it and I think

[00:38:17] more young women need to get in that position they need to find out

[00:38:21] just how fulfilling it is to have someone by your side as you walk through this world

[00:38:25] I agree and I think

[00:38:29] that in a biblical way young girls

[00:38:33] need to be made to understand how important

[00:38:37] it is to be a mother and if they decide to have children

[00:38:41] how important it is to steer their children

[00:38:45] in the right direction so that when they do grow old

[00:38:49] their children will want to come back and see about them and take care of

[00:38:53] them if need be

[00:38:57] do the best we can to take care of ourselves so that we won't need so much care

[00:39:01] but at least you want your children to be able to

[00:39:05] want to come back and hang out with you and maybe even go on vacations

[00:39:09] with you and do things with you as you get older

[00:39:13] but we become such a fractionalized society

[00:39:17] as you so aptly described it's all about their girlfriends and

[00:39:21] that's it and family is

[00:39:25] just so broken up and as the family goes so goes the nation

[00:39:29] I know they like to say as Detroit goes so goes the nation

[00:39:33] but more importantly as the family goes so goes the nation

[00:39:37] would say you've got about a minute before we pray

[00:39:41] okay I absolutely agree and I pray for the healing

[00:39:45] and the woundedness that creates this lack of trust

[00:39:49] and this lack of commitment

[00:39:53] a lot of people are not willing to commit because they have already

[00:39:57] before they even engage they figure what's the use

[00:40:01] they look at the 50% divorce rate in the church and they say

[00:40:05] you all claim they have God and you're doing just as much as the secular

[00:40:09] and again they don't understand the spiritual warfare, Satan, targets, marriages

[00:40:13] particularly because it does represent the bride

[00:40:17] and the bridegroom so you need a different type of counsel and support

[00:40:21] system when you do get married people will understand the warfare

[00:40:25] and the assignments against the marriage because

[00:40:29] when you enter into it from that biblical perspective you have

[00:40:33] a much better chance of keeping the marriage going

[00:40:37] and it also becoming very happy and fulfilling

[00:40:41] you know what I want you to hang around if you have a few minutes

[00:40:45] hang around on the other side of the break we can talk a little bit more about

[00:40:49] Mother's Day and the importance and maybe some more encouragement

[00:40:53] and you're real good at this come up with a few scriptures if you want to share with us

[00:40:57] in regards to the importance of mothers

[00:44:08] united you're listening to the Ron Edwards American

[00:44:12] experience

[00:44:16] celebrating mother's day

[00:44:20] both in the United States and around the globe

[00:44:36] demonstrating the days versatility this is Ron Edwards

[00:44:40] and you're listening to the Ron Edwards American experience thanks so much for tuning

[00:44:44] in from throughout America and of course around the world

[00:44:48] to demonstrate the days versatility and widespread

[00:44:52] appeal rooted in diverse cultural traditions yet united in

[00:44:56] its core purpose inaugural official mother's day in the United States

[00:45:00] celebrated in 1908 was not merely an isolated event

[00:45:04] but an important moment in the broader recognition and appreciation of mother's role

[00:45:08] in society in contrast the United Kingdom's

[00:45:12] observance of mother's day as its roots in the Christian tradition of mothering Sunday

[00:45:16] a practice distinct from the American mother's day yet sharing

[00:45:20] similar sentiments of maternal honor and recognition

[00:45:24] mothering Sunday falling on the fourth Sunday of Lent originally provided

[00:45:28] an opportunity for people to return to their mother church the main church

[00:45:32] or cathedral in a family's area over time this religious tradition

[00:45:36] gradually merged with the American mother's day concept transforming

[00:45:40] into a more secular celebration that mirrors the United States

[00:45:44] holiday and spirit but occurs in March

[00:45:48] let's get back with our guest her name is Denise Edwards she heads up a cum ministry

[00:45:52] and Denise why don't you tell folks about cum ministry

[00:45:56] and how folks can join up in the prayer efforts for our nation

[00:46:00] and nations throughout the world

[00:46:10] she's talking but she's not on the air

[00:46:16] she's talking about the

[00:46:21] you can get all of the information on cum ministry

[00:46:24] and we get together Monday through Friday

[00:46:28] weekdays from 9am to 10am eastern standard time

[00:46:32] and if you go straight into cum ministry

[00:46:36] the telephone number if you just click on one of the phone numbers

[00:46:40] during that time it'll take you directly into the prayer call

[00:46:44] and it allows people to hear what

[00:46:48] the father gave us to pray about the strategies

[00:46:52] we do get a lot of dream interpretations

[00:46:56] pretty much every week now we're getting dreams down that the lord has given

[00:47:00] somebody on the prayer call to understand and interpret

[00:47:04] and it's also very preemptive

[00:47:08] a lot of those dreams are things that the father would want us to preempt

[00:47:12] just an expected doom and gloom

[00:47:16] sometimes dad will say here's what the enemy would like to happen

[00:47:20] so I'm revealing it to you so you can make sure that it doesn't occur

[00:47:24] and so there are great group of men and women and you can also catch the youtube teachings

[00:47:28] all the links are again on cum ministry dot com

[00:47:32] thank you very much as we continue to celebrate

[00:47:36] Mother's Day these historical and cultural nuances of Mother's Day celebrations underscore

[00:47:40] the holidays adaptability and its capacity to resonate across

[00:47:44] different societies each incorporating its unique traditions

[00:47:48] into maternal appreciation while the united states in the UK

[00:47:52] represent key points in the holidays evolution Mother's Day

[00:47:56] has found a place in many other countries each with its own

[00:48:00] customs yet all sharing the universal theme of honoring

[00:48:04] motherhood well Denise if you have a

[00:48:08] minute or two or so if you can leave us with encouraging words

[00:48:12] and an encouraging prayer we greatly appreciate that

[00:48:16] all right I will you ask for a scripture so I'm just going to read briefly

[00:48:20] Genesis 2 starting in verse 21 through verse 23

[00:48:24] and I'm reading out of the voice translation this is so the eternal

[00:48:28] God put him into a deep sleep removed a rib from his eye and closed

[00:48:32] the flesh around the opening he formed a woman from

[00:48:36] the rib taken out of the man and presented her to him

[00:48:40] Adam speaking said at last a suitable companion a perfect

[00:48:44] partner bone for my bone flesh for my flesh I will call

[00:48:48] this one woman as an eternal reminder that she was taken

[00:48:52] out of man and that is how God deemed it

[00:48:56] and designed it and Adams response was here is someone suitable

[00:49:00] for me here's someone that can help me walk the road and path

[00:49:04] and journey that is in front of me and I pray that many

[00:49:08] on the that are listening will have the opportunity

[00:49:12] I pray that you don't have to live your life without companionship

[00:49:16] it's great to have friends it's great to have family but if you can

[00:49:20] have a suitable companion to walk alongside

[00:49:24] you who'll be there for the good the bad and the ugly the beautiful

[00:49:28] and the not so beautiful it is such a blessing and I pray

[00:49:32] that I pray all the mothers that are here listening

[00:49:36] be blessed and that the fruit of their womb be blessed I pray that everyone's

[00:49:40] family is coming to the revelation of Jesus Christ because it's

[00:49:44] great to be a mom here in the earth but it's even better to be able

[00:49:48] to carry that right into eternity into the presence of the Lord to have

[00:49:52] the children that you brought into the earth also enter into heaven and into

[00:49:56] the joy of the Lord alongside you that in to me is our

[00:50:00] greatest joy and hope is all mothers who love the Lord want

[00:50:04] and fathers too as I know that's your desire as well

[00:50:08] and so we pray that for every family that that will be the

[00:50:12] righteous outcome of their lives in Jesus name amen

[00:50:16] Thank you Denise and as always we

[00:50:20] truly appreciate you taking time out of your schedule to join us here in the

[00:50:24] Roundover's American Experience and as always you bring it so well

[00:50:28] thank you so much God bless you God bless you take care

[00:50:32] you know I hate to do this but I got to do it

[00:50:36] got to remind you of some things that are going on around our world

[00:50:40] that we just don't like we just don't like we hope that

[00:50:44] the mother's start doing a better job maybe we won't have people like Mikey

[00:50:48] Johnson as he performed impressions

[00:50:52] mocking Trump for establishment

[00:50:56] media now this little guy who thumps his

[00:51:00] Bible runs around telling people how great

[00:51:04] man a God that he is he's running around here mocking

[00:51:08] President Trump using Trump's mannerisms including the thing

[00:51:12] Trump does with his hands and and and just making

[00:51:16] fun of the guy because of his hatred for the

[00:51:20] effort to place US interests

[00:51:24] above the interest of other nations and to me that's

[00:51:28] retarded because every nation in the world whether it's the

[00:51:32] UK whether it's Russia whether it's Spain whether it's Zimbabwe

[00:51:36] whatever should place its interest

[00:51:40] above other nations because the better you are as a nation the more

[00:51:44] you can be a blessing to other nations and

[00:51:48] the more nations

[00:51:52] follow examples that are good economically

[00:51:56] morally etc etc guess what the better off their people will be

[00:52:00] you know it's a good thing that South South Korea for example did not

[00:52:06] follow the example of North Korea

[00:52:10] but in many ways they followed the examples that were once

[00:52:14] prominently practiced here in the United States particularly economic

[00:52:18] and they are one of the largest and most prosperous economies

[00:52:22] in the world same thing can be said for Singapore

[00:52:26] and increasingly Argentina believe it or not

[00:52:30] and so the examples are out there ladies and gentlemen

[00:52:35] and his mothers reassert

[00:52:39] their proper position in the earth and train up their children and join

[00:52:43] their husbands in training up their children in the way that they should go so that when

[00:52:47] they are old they don't depart we're going to have a better world

[00:52:51] and we're going to have a better America, we'll have a better united kingdom

[00:52:57] and things will go better for us all the way around

[00:53:01] let's do this I'm Ron Edwards

[00:53:05] and now that I see that my time is up thank you so much for your time

[00:53:09] you

[00:53:13] you you you you

[00:53:17] you

[00:53:21] your nation pray for your family your friends and even your enemies.

[00:53:26] Oh yeah.

[00:53:28] And also treat others the way you would want to be treated.

[00:53:31] And remember Mom on Mother's Day.

[00:53:33] I'm not Edwards until next time.

[00:53:36] Be blessed.

[00:53:37] Bye now.
