[00:00:00] The you're listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience.
[00:00:30] It's the Ron Edwards American Experience talk show where our unalienable rights are celebrated.
[00:00:48] Now your radio refreshment, Ron Edwards.
[00:01:19] Good day, good day, good day. Hello, I'm Ron Edwards and you are listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience.
[00:01:27] Thanks for tuning in this day. Lots of stuff to cover.
[00:01:31] Man it's kind of heartbreaking to see what's going on with Donald Trump. President Trump that is $454 million bond.
[00:01:39] Get forced real estate by yourself.
[00:01:43] The man built a business empire of real estate, not only in this country but around the world and has been very successful.
[00:01:51] And because he dared to do right by our republic, this is why they're trying to hang him out to dry right now.
[00:01:59] This is totally unprecedented in American history.
[00:02:03] It's the kind of stuff you would see in other lesser nations like Banana Republics, they're trying to bank run, they're their opponent.
[00:02:12] Because the Democrats and rhinos cannot come up with any ideas that are better than those that not only were proposed by President Trump but actually were enacted on.
[00:02:24] And we benefited as the American people, we benefited mightily.
[00:02:29] The border was being secured, our economy was stronger.
[00:02:34] Let's see, America was once again becoming respected around the world.
[00:02:42] Lots of good things. You understand what I'm saying? And we were even getting respectful relations with our enemies.
[00:02:50] People like Kim Jong Un, Xi Jinping, Mr. Putin, etc., etc., etc.
[00:02:59] We were dealing from a position of strength.
[00:03:03] But here we are today, United States is literally a massive downward spiral and we could end up going down the sewer of history if this is not brought to a halt in the near future.
[00:03:19] I believe in many, many millions of my fellow Americans agree that the November election will dictate which direction we take.
[00:03:30] But some other things are also dictating which direction our nation is or may go or may not go.
[00:03:39] One of them is what just recently happened the other day in California.
[00:03:46] Governor Newsom signed a bill intended to in so-called discrimination against LGBTQ people in sex crime convictions, particularly with children.
[00:04:01] Discrimination against LGBTQ people in sex crime convictions will now be outlawed under a new law signed by Governor Gavin Newsom.
[00:04:12] Now, it depends on what you consider to be discrimination.
[00:04:18] If it means being punished or things seems that you did, I don't understand why that is considered to be discrimination but people on the left now equate.
[00:04:29] Punishment for wrongdoing or immorality as being discriminatory.
[00:04:36] The measure is Senate bill 145 and it will amend existing state law that allows judges to decide whether an adult convicted of having sexual intercourse with a minor should register as a sex offender in case, in cases rather in which the minor is 14 years or older.
[00:04:58] And the adult is not more than 10 years older than the minor.
[00:05:03] So, if you have a leftist judge, you know how they'll rule. They'll say, ah, you don't have to be on this sexual offender list. Go ahead and do your thing.
[00:05:15] So, while that does not blatantly say, well, sex with minors is the law but it does take one step closer to that, doesn't it?
[00:05:29] It helps decriminalize it and they're trying to destigmatize it as well.
[00:05:35] And I think that some things like this are setting the United States up for a big heap of hurt.
[00:05:44] You cannot continue to do wrong, legislate wrong especially immoral acts like this and expect to remain a great society. You can't do it.
[00:05:57] Because when you're making these kinds of decisions and they become a normal part of your legal system, which affects your judgment, which affects generationally how certain immoral acts are viewed by the people.
[00:06:19] And the thinking processes, then the actions and the quality of actions continue to spiral downward.
[00:06:29] And that affects everything, not just this situation here with adults having sexual minors and being left up to a liberal judge whether as you should be on the sexual offender list or not.
[00:06:44] That is some sick stuff. I believe in the biblical approach of an adult has sex with a minor, something bad should happen to that adult.
[00:06:55] I mean real bad permanently bad. But when you have it a society that wants to decriminalize that gradually and legalize it and make it okay, that society's in big trouble.
[00:07:14] That society is cursing itself and it is cursing its future generations because like I said, once you poison the water of the thinking processes in one area, it spreads like a disease like putting a drop of bad of poison in a glass of water.
[00:07:35] It doesn't separate and you can drink one half of the glass of water. It's not like it's a solid thing but it impacts everything.
[00:07:45] And this is why I keep saying over and over again on this broadcast that we, the people up to come together, it's time for us to get a little cray cray.
[00:07:56] If we're not, if we're not for this evil, we have to start standing up in unison and speaking out against it.
[00:08:06] We cannot allow our children and our children's children to be harmed in such a way to, we can allow that to be normalized.
[00:08:18] No, no, no, for the good of our nation.
[00:08:26] I'd like to know what you guys think about this, but it's horrible stuff.
[00:08:32] Got a great guest coming up today, her name is Julie Kelly and she is a writer and a political commentator in author of January 6th.

[00:12:50] Kelly covers political and policy issues including the January 6th investigation and what has been going on with that.
[00:12:59] Well, it's welcome our guest Julie Kelly. Hello and welcome to the Ron Edwards American experience.
[00:13:05] Hey Ron, thanks for having me on. I just want to let everyone know I'm not at the Federalist or American greatness anymore.
[00:13:11] People can find my work at my substack. The classified with Julie Kelly.
[00:13:16] Okay that's I'm just going off the information I have here. I apologize for the mistake there.
[00:13:22] Okay. Don't worry. Just want to let people know where they can find my work also at real clear investigations.
[00:13:29] Excellent. Thank you so much for that correction.
[00:13:32] Well, we both know what individual that in my opinion that has been wrongly treated in concerning the J6 situation.
[00:13:43] Tom called well and there are many many others who have been brutalized in the American Gulags.
[00:13:50] Just before we get into details I want your opinion on what this portends for our country because this is something that you find in.
[00:14:01] Third world nations and banana republics and things of that nature and this happening here in the great United States of America.
[00:14:09] What is this? How do you think about what do you think about this?
[00:14:16] Well, I've been covering the events of January 6th in the prosecution since really January 2021.
[00:14:23] I wrote a book on it January 6th how Democrats use the capital protest to launch a warrant error against the political right which is of course what they've been doing.
[00:14:35] So the case of now is reaching 1,400 defendants. They're arresting people every day.
[00:14:42] The Department of Justice is on pace to arrest a person a day this year now more than three years later.
[00:14:49] So it is a sort of thing that you never expected to see in America where they're not just trying to represent the former president and republican nominee for president this year.
[00:15:03] I think that's what I think about his age like Peter Navarro who had to report to my army prison today for being convicted by DC jury of contempt of Congress for failing to turn over records to the illicit January 6th Democrat January 6th committee.
[00:15:20] That's his voters. So I think most Americans are at least the ones on the right recognize that this is a really slippery slope, dangerous descent into banana republic style territory that is not stopping.
[00:15:36] It's only going to get worse as 2024 goes on and we approach election day.
[00:15:43] So it's their way to really stop this. And the reason why I ask this is because unlike other countries, we have written blocks to these kinds of activities.
[00:15:57] It's called our constitution. It's called our bill of rights and they're in federalist papers.
[00:16:04] It's written out in detail. What the government should do, what it should not do our unalienable rights, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
[00:16:12] It seems as if that the leftist have taken control of all the levers of all the power levers and no matter what is written in our constitution, what no matter what we the people know or care about they're just saying,
[00:16:30] I'm doing what I want to. And there's nothing you can do about it. What say you?
[00:16:38] Well, unfortunately that's right. I mean, I've been covering these court proceedings and trials and sentencing since the prosecution started in the spring of 2021.
[00:16:50] So villains here are the federal judges in Washington DC at the district court level. This includes Trump appointed judges all the way down to Reagan appointed judges if you can believe it or not and they are not fulfilling their oath of office, which is to protect the rights of the defendants.
[00:17:05] And make sure that the government stays in line that the Department of Justice is not abusing their authority and prosecutorial overreach, which is precisely what they have been doing since day one.
[00:17:17] So the problem is the judges are not respecting the constitutional rights bill of rights defendants or first a fourth a fifth a sixth a eighth a eighth a protections. In fact, they are systematically
[00:17:32] disassembling those rights when it relates to Trump supporters or people who dare to protest on January 6.
[00:17:41] So, you know, the Constitution does not for the most part exist in these courtrooms I've seen it over and over.
[00:17:49] So, you know, it's really something I when I started covering these trials and court proceedings was absolutely floored to hear these judges what these judges and prosecutors were saying and doing.
[00:18:03] So unfortunately the Constitution is no bulwark as a defense for these really mostly helpless defendants.
[00:18:12] Do you think that I know you said that things are going to get worse, but do you think that by getting worse that will create a groundswell finally from amongst the people of this country or will there be a large enough groundswell to force the government to back up or is it just too late?
[00:18:35] I just we're just under the boot hill that will just finally crush us.
[00:18:41] I mean this Department of Justice is not going to stop as I said they've accelerated the investigation and the prosecution continuing to round up and arrest nonviolent funders to add to this case.
[00:18:52] So, the DOJ and the judges are not going to stop but I do think that there I hold on one sec.
[00:18:59] I do think that there is definitely grassroots support to especially you see this support for Trump and for Republicans they want the funding cut off to the DOJ into these offices and federal courts.
[00:19:14] They want this to stop. It doesn't mean the DOJ is going to do it because they're not but I think this will be part of Donald Trump's support.
[00:19:24] He's already said there's reporting this week that he is going to make January 6th a cornerstone of his campaign and so you really see at least I see the tight turning in terms of the narrative,
[00:19:35] Democrats and regime media do not control the narrative of January 6th anymore like they used to so that is one little light of hope.
[00:19:45] Yeah and that also gives me hope and I think that I agree with you on that.
[00:19:53] I believe that is the days go on since the political left and that includes the rhinos they don't have better ideas.
[00:20:03] The only thing they have in their favor is the powerful levers of government and I think the people are going to grow weary of that and increasing numbers and that will be what will in act the turn against the turnaround because the people will rise up in such a massive way.
[00:20:22] Because their decisions are not just affecting Donald Trump, they're affecting all of us in one way or another indirectly or directly.
[00:20:32] And I think out of that misery will arise and awakened and strong people would see you.
[00:20:40] I hope so, I hope that you're right.
[00:20:43] As I said, I think the people on the right are starting to recognize this and become very set up and infuriated over it but I also know that there's half of the country or 40% of the country Democrats who left CS all in a gulag regardless of our actions or whether it was just by simply for the fact that we support or people support Donald Trump or Republicans conservative viewpoints.
[00:21:09] That is who the left and the Democratic Party has turned into.
[00:21:15] Yeah, and you're right though, I it's it's frightening that in fact, I can say that I know have known people in my life that are more in favor and I know this is going to sound retarded but they're more in favor of the destruction of the United States as we know rather than Donald Trump being reelected.
[00:21:38] And they would rather live in misery because they hate that man and they hate true liberty. They hate what's good about America and these are people I'm talking about that will born in this country.
[00:21:51] What constitutes such a level of mental depravity? What what where does that come from from your angle?
[00:22:00] I don't know, I mean a lot of it. I think like any leftist movement or political party it's born out of power and control over people.
[00:22:09] So I think that that's where a lot of it comes from.
[00:22:13] You know, it's hard to look into individual people and I think it's beyond Trump.
[00:22:18] I think you know, we saw this sort of contempt certainly for Ronald Reagan. We saw a lot of contempt for George W. Bush especially after the close call the 2000 election.
[00:22:28] So it's not necessarily new but now that it's taken a new stage in terms of using the justice system using the legal system and such an expansive way whether it's J6ers, whether it's pro lifers, whether it's someone who posted a joking meme about Hillary Clinton and how to vote.
[00:22:47] You know, this is or rounding up you know people who filed lawsuits or people who wanted to submit nothing on lawful submit an alternative slate of electors to the national archives or send them to Congress.
[00:23:03] There's nothing illegal about that but it doesn't matter because this DOJ knows how to take big statutes in the law and weaponize them and criminalize political dissent in a way that's not a legal.
[00:23:16] We're going to have a couple of minutes on the other side of the break.
[00:23:23] Ron, I actually don't I'm sorry. I just got back to this side of Florida. I've got a couple of other interviews so I apologize but I got to jump off.
[00:23:41] Your time and man Godspeed for what you're doing.
[00:23:46] Okay take care Ron, thank you. Take care by now. You're listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience.

[00:25:02] Congratulations to Mark Robinson, Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina for securing the Republican nomination to run for governor of that great state.
[00:25:10] Hello I'm Ron Edwards on today's page from the Air Force not for brought you by Constitutional Browns coffee.
[00:25:16] The more I learn about and listen to the very moving speeches of North Carolina Governor to be Mark Robinson, the more I'm reminded of two other great Americans, my own dad and Frederick Douglass.
[00:25:28] All three men suffered racial injustices in their youth. Frederick Douglass suffered most as a slave before deciding to take matters into his own hands and secure his own liberty.
[00:25:38] But throughout it all, Douglass sought providential guidance and learned to fight for the freedom of all men and inspired President Lincoln to unshackle blacks from slavery.
[00:25:48] Mark Robinson overcame the drudgery of poverty and the sting of Southern Democrat racism to where he now lives like Frederick Douglass long ago as a successful lawyer for true liberty.
[00:26:00] And an unwavering man of faith in God, love for his family and appreciation for our republic, like my own dad Mr. Robinson inspires others to be the best they can be and always seek to improve matters rather than want to kill still and destroy our republic.

[00:27:46] Ron Edwards, the new voice of America.
[00:28:17] We are back. This is the Ron Edwards American Experience. I'm Ron Edwards and you know, I've always, I learned a long time ago even when I was just a lad growing up in Cleveland that it's not what is done or what is said but rather who does it or who says it?
[00:28:38] Over the past weekend President Donald Trump was campaigning in near Dayton, Ohio.
[00:28:44] And he warned that without fierce new United States tariffs on China made EVs, the American Auto Industry would face a blood bath for the country.
[00:28:54] Now he said that the leftist media gumps and Rhino gumps went to Nutsville calling for his head basically because he dared to say that
[00:29:05] and they were trying to infer that he met there would be blood on the streets.
[00:29:11] Of course anyone with common sense understood that he was talking about an economic bloodletting.
[00:29:18] Well guess what my friends, guess what? The CEO of X-Ping Motors of China. His name is he z-a-ping.
[00:29:29] Again, he's the CEO of X-Ping Motors. Guess what he did? He said I predict a blood bath against America's Auto Industry with the help of cheap China-made electric vehicles. Bam-o!
[00:29:43] Now he said this today are you hearing the news media and other you know in talk show hosts on the left side are they going to Nutsville?
[00:29:58] Talking about the blood bath in America? No, because like I said it's not what said but rather who says it. Donald Trump met the same exact thing and if the Republicans are smart they will use this man's statement in some of their messaging.
[00:30:20] But now that remains to be seen how smart Republicans will become when it comes to messaging because they have the better ideas but boy or boy have they been lacking over the years when it comes to messaging.
[00:30:34] Putting themselves behind the political eight ball.
[00:30:38] Well it seems that the Supreme Court did lift a little bit of good news. There is a ray of good news my friends.
[00:30:45] The Supreme Court lifts the stay on the Texas law that gives police powers to arrest illegal border crossers at the border. Isn't that nice? Yes it is.
[00:30:56] A divided Supreme Court has lifted a stay on the Texas law that gives police broad powers to arrest illegal border crossers suspected of crossing the border illegally while a legal battle over immigration authority plays out.
[00:31:11] I'm so happy they did that because they've got to elect and they've I'm sorry they have to arrest these individuals that are coming into our country illegally.
[00:31:21] I say I say put them on an island somewhere you want to come on American soil you you want to be here well guess what you can have an island and I'm not talking about a tropical island and I'm talking about an island off of the northern coast of California which nice and chilly all the time.
[00:31:43] Alcatraz and there's a few other islands out there.
[00:31:47] Yeah and that's what we have to do and then and no if it were up to me you know what I would do.
[00:31:53] I would publicize all over the world via the internet, print media, etc. etc. come to the United States illegally at your own risk.
[00:32:05] Yeah, allusion islands allusion island that's perfect dog. Doug is my producer.
[00:32:11] That's a great place to put the illegals but I would start with Alcatraz.
[00:32:18] I'd reopen that place hey look there's a building for you already you have a nice place to live on American soil and but I would publicize to the entire world you're coming to the United States illegally at your own risk.
[00:32:32] May God have mercy on your souls if you come here illegally in your cot and that's it.
[00:32:40] And I would also have visitations with certain government leaders around the world and tell them it will go bad for you if you can send if you continue to send your vermin human debris to our republic.
[00:32:57] You will not be good my friend.
[00:33:00] Now we can be friends or we can be enemies it's up to you govern yourself accordingly be wise.
[00:33:09] And I'm sure that if President Trump gets into office returns officially.
[00:33:17] You know those kinds of things will be said to foreign leaders.
[00:33:24] But I'm looking at these pictures here the Texas border my friends it is heartbreaking.
[00:33:29] It is very, very heartbreaking.
[00:33:34] And so if you know and you know we can all say we can all armchair quarterback but see here's the thing I know.
[00:33:45] The governor rabbit of Texas Mike Johnson speaker the house between the two of them there's a lot of authority.
[00:33:54] And remember let's not forget recently it was ruled in a court of law that Texas can go ahead and build a border.
[00:34:08] Remember that so governor rabbit should should be part of work or have others hard at work at building that border and making life very miserable for illegal border crosses.
[00:34:25] I would not offer them a bottle of water.
[00:34:30] I would not let them know before they get here you're not going to get water no telephones no nothing.
[00:34:38] If you want to hang out in Mexico that's between you and Mexico.
[00:34:44] Trump did that.
[00:34:46] And things were getting better and better and better and better for our republic.
[00:34:52] And I was listening I was no I wasn't listening I was watching a news talk show a few days ago.
[00:34:59] I forget the name of the show was pretty forgettable because you had these Democrat oriented individuals arguing that because it wasn't basically perfect under the Trump regime.
[00:35:16] The situation was totally broken and now Biden has improved it.
[00:35:23] And I'm thinking my gosh they must really believe that the American people are just totally retarded because the reality of their situation you can now look at cities.
[00:35:37] That I mean like Pittsburgh.
[00:35:41] We're starting to see a block here block there.
[00:35:45] Ability of border crosses home homeless homeless people hanging out and building their tents.
[00:35:52] Pain avenue in Cleveland near downtown they're starting to creep in there.
[00:36:00] And no longer can we hear in the north rely on a nice whole you know nice cold winter to kind of thin the herd can't rely on that anymore.
[00:36:14] But we should rely on the law and common sense.
[00:36:20] And for the good of our own existence as a nation we've got to have these people kicked out there bringing over all kinds of diseases.
[00:36:32] I mean polio was just about wiped out of the United States wipe out its back.
[00:36:39] The plague.
[00:36:42] It's back.
[00:36:45] Leprecy there are cases of leprosy.
[00:36:49] It's here.
[00:36:52] And it didn't that those things did not start growing among people born in this country.
[00:36:59] It was it's being brought in.
[00:37:02] And these people are being shut all over the United States at our risk.
[00:37:08] And now they're carting them out to the nice suburbs.
[00:37:13] Because this is part of the effort my friends I remember.
[00:37:17] I wish I could remember that it was a Democrat politician.
[00:37:21] They're not in office anymore.
[00:37:23] But these to talk about making life uncomfortable for Americans in general just making it just unbearably uncomfortable.
[00:37:32] Because certain areas were bad.
[00:37:36] And they say well we're going to make it's going to be like that for everyone that's that's part of the the effort of black lives matter antifa make life a pain in the backside.
[00:37:48] To everyone spread the misery rather than coming together and get rid of the misery and the creation and the reason for misery in our country.
[00:37:59] They're all about this is what they talk about when when they when they say equality.
[00:38:05] This is what I'm talking about with their what they they plan to do.
[00:38:09] They want to make everyone equally poor.
[00:38:11] They're not about equal opportunity for Americans.
[00:38:15] That is why Tyson foods could lay off thousands and then turn around and say you know what.
[00:38:22] We're going to build on larger plant in another state and we're going to hire thousands and thousands of illegal border crossers.
[00:38:31] It's all about putting down Americans and bringing in our replacements.
[00:38:41] So I asked you my friends in this country what do you want to be done about that.
[00:38:50] What do you think should be done?
[00:38:52] I know what should be done.
[00:38:55] But the politically correct on our side and you know the squeamish they they they they would just rather oh no, oh you can't do this you can't do that.
[00:39:08] Well they do everything to us.
[00:39:11] How crazy is that and that's also steeped in Christianity too.
[00:39:16] Christians will have their little clicks and they'll attack each other and try to undermine one another like crabs in the bucket.
[00:39:23] But Lord and mercy when it comes to fighting evil and focusing on teaching children about real principles so that they can have a better life under the protection of our creator.
[00:39:33] Oh no.
[00:39:35] Can't do that.
[00:39:38] And I'm speaking from observation not imagination.
[00:39:44] It is what it is.
[00:39:47] But we talk about what it should be because it's about improving our quality of life in this republic.
[00:39:53] We don't stand or stick on the problems but we the people need to come together and work on the solutions and stop the madness.

[00:43:28] We're all familiar with the 16th Amendment of the Constitution right?
[00:43:35] Well, we are in taxes and nobody really likes paying taxes, especially since most of our taxes are unconstitutional and at least in my opinion.
[00:43:47] But where do the federal income tax come from? How did it start?
[00:43:54] Now we know that the 16th Amendment did not create the federal income tax which is wrong.
[00:44:01] However, my friends, the 16th Amendment did fundamentally change our beloved republic.
[00:44:08] As April 15th approaches in the not too distant future and people spend valuable time and money on filing their income tax returns,
[00:44:18] I'm going to look at the source of our paying.
[00:44:23] Remember how Bill Clinton said, I feel your paying?
[00:44:28] Well, plenty of people grouse and complain about paying income taxes.
[00:44:33] Most don't realize that the cause of their paying is the actions of the states back in 1913.
[00:44:42] Woodrow Wilson was in office at that time. He was a wicked soul.
[00:44:47] When the states ratified the 16th Amendment stupidly, they did more than just help the feds collect income taxes.
[00:44:54] They fundamentally changed the republic.
[00:44:57] Yep, they changed the republic for the worst.
[00:45:01] Nobody I know likes overpaying taxes like we do today.
[00:45:08] They are a necessary evil if we were to have a stable society.
[00:45:13] And yes, but we don't have to pay taxes at the level that we do just to feed the giant government which just uses most of our tax dollars in a wasteful manner.
[00:45:29] So the most common questions debated are who pays taxes and how much the more important decision is who decides those questions.
[00:45:40] Back in 1787 when the Constitution was drafted and it was ratified, the framers of this republic understood the need to collect taxes so they delegated the power to tax the Congress.
[00:45:57] They said, Congress you shall be the ones to collect the taxes.
[00:46:02] Yep, but with some very specific restrictions.
[00:46:07] The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and exercises to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States.
[00:46:22] But all duties, imposts and exercises shall be uniform throughout the United States.
[00:46:30] Hmm, US Constitution article one section eight clause one go check it out my friends.
[00:46:38] Yes, Congress can collect taxes, duties, imposts and exercises are simply different types of taxes that Congress can collect.
[00:46:47] But notice how there are only three things Congress can collect taxes for three one two three.
[00:46:54] One, to pay the debts of the United States to for the common defense of the United States for three and for the general welfare of the United States.
[00:47:05] That's it kaput.
[00:47:09] Notice also that Congress can only collect taxes to be used for the United States.
[00:47:15] Capital U, capital S, a proper noun for the entity known as the United States.
[00:47:26] This is the very same proper noun used in the 10th amendment to say the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution nor prohibited by it to the states.
[00:47:38] I reserved to the states respectively or to the people, meaning you and I.
[00:47:45] Uh oh.
[00:47:47] What about amendment 10 of the United States Constitution?
[00:47:52] Now there we see that our first big heap on problem.
[00:47:56] We the people have not held Congress to collecting taxes only for constitutionally authorized purposes.
[00:48:03] As Alex Dittorful said long ago the American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.
[00:48:16] Congress has discovered how to bribe the public and all how they have used it.
[00:48:21] However, for the first century or so there was a serious impediment to Congress's ability to overtax the people.
[00:48:30] It was the Constitution.
[00:48:34] Then you have direct taxes.
[00:48:36] Well, now the representatives was established in Article 1, Section 2 and important little phrase was included.
[00:48:43] Representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several states which may be included within this union according to their respective numbers.
[00:48:55] The US Constitution Article 1, Section 2, clause 3.
[00:48:59] Not only were the seats in the house to be apportioned to the states by population but so were direct taxes.
[00:49:08] Uh oh.
[00:49:09] A direct tax is usually a property tax or ad malorum by value.
[00:49:18] Now that tax has opposed to an indirect tax imposed upon some right or privilege such as a franchise tax.
[00:49:28] Or how about, um, let's see property taxes.
[00:49:35] Now direct tax.
[00:49:39] It's not that Congress couldn't impose any direct taxes only that they had to apportion those taxes to the states.
[00:49:47] If Congress were to pass a tax on the value of your property, you're a state or even your income they had to divide the tax up amongst the states based on their population and have the states collected.
[00:50:00] As we will see in what we have seen this is extremely important since it places the states between the people and the United States federal government.
[00:50:14] Now the income tax did not start with the 16th amendment.
[00:50:18] It started in 1862 to fund the Civil War.
[00:50:23] Since it was consistent revenue streams, um, the income tax was sold to the people with the warning that it was necessary.
[00:50:32] The promise that it would be limited by a person's income and was scheduled to expire in 1870.
[00:50:39] However, that did not make it constitutional most likely due to the urgency of the war though this tax was never challenged in court.
[00:50:50] And see that's one of the things that government does today.
[00:50:54] They either create or utilize a catastrophe, a bad event, etc.
[00:51:01] They bring up more regulations, more taxes and then sell it as a necessity.
[00:51:08] And then the people buy into it.
[00:51:13] As if oh my god will follow the face of the earth.
[00:51:17] If we don't adopt this new rate, allow them to adopt this new regulation or new tax.
[00:51:25] And the only thing that has happened is now we have what?
[00:51:32] Thirty-four, thirty-five trillion dollars in debt.
[00:51:38] Because all they wanted to do was taxes to the guilds.
[00:51:41] The way the tax system is set up, it is guaranteed to literally economically destroy this country.
[00:51:50] And keep us in such straits that now both adults and a household they've got to work just to keep the roof going.
[00:52:03] Just to keep everyone, they're bellies full.
[00:52:07] Keep the lights on, etc., etc., etc.
[00:52:10] Originally it was meant that only one person needed to go out and work.
[00:52:14] The father, mom stay home, take care of the children.
[00:52:19] The leftists in government rubbed their little chinny, chinny, chinns and said, hey you know what?
[00:52:24] We can start whittling away the unity of the family by producing a situation where it is a necessity
[00:52:32] and it becomes accepted by mom and pop for both having to go and work.
[00:52:41] And at the same time you decrease the value and the spending power of the dollar.
[00:52:47] Ah, so you need many more dollars just to buy the same thing that you could buy in 1964.
[00:52:55] And it just goes on and on and on and on and we keep putting up with this over and over again.
[00:53:01] In every administration even the good ones continue to allow this debt system to pile up on who?
[00:53:11] Not only just us but our future generations.
[00:53:15] And now it has gotten to a point where we could be facing the last generation of American greatness.
[00:53:26] There's a lot more that I like to share about this 16th amendment and the man, the ongoing problems.
[00:53:35] But I don't have time right now.
[00:53:38] Now that I see the mic time is off. Thank you so much for your time.
[00:53:43] And as I always say at this time, remember pray for your nation. She needs it.
[00:53:48] Pray for your family, your friends, your enemies and make sure they get it right.
[00:53:53] And treat others the way you would want to be treated my friends.
[00:53:56] I'm Ron Edwards until next time.
[00:53:59] I know.
