It's the Ron Edwards American Experienced Talk Show where our unalienable rights are celebrated. And now your radio refreshment, Ron Edwards. Well, well, well, good day, good day. Hello, how are you. I'm run Edwards and you are listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience Talk Show. And thanks so much for tuning in from throughout America and of course around the world. Man oh man, and of course we're being brought to you by constitutional grounds. It is the coffee you want in your cup. You know, as you look at all of the issues affecting our be leaguered republic turned bbiocracy today, whether it's the bidonomic situation, whether it's dealing with you look across the world where our nation is sticking its nose where it does not belong, such as in Ukraine. Ukraine is getting the spanking she deserves from the bear, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. And then you see the situation with Donald Trump, President Trump, that is and how he's been mistreated for simply trying to do good on the behalf of our great republic, and so on and so on, and if you sum up everything that we see that's going wrong in our republic. Of course, the Democrats and Ryan ours are hoping that they will completely destroy our country within the next twenty four months via the open border situation. We all know that no nation, no nation whatsoever, can survive or thrive with open borders of this magnitude can't happen. And when you put on top of that one point five million that come into this country legally every single year, it's just too much. And what they're doing to the US dollar, they plan on killing that off within the next several months. But the collection of all these issues amounts to one thing. The fact that we allowed morality to be taken out of our society, took it out of the schools. What happened, Students for generations have been mistaught. And I'll say it like this, it's been taken out of a lot of churches. What happened. Our nation continues to become more immoral. And when you are immoral, you're going to automatically have bad thoughts. And you're going to have bad decisions, and you're going to also have along with that, your efforts are going to be in the wrong direction. That's why you have the federal government today fighting any state along our southern border that wants to protect the citizens from the onslaught of the millions of illegal border crossers, mostly men, young men coming in to serve the purposes of the Democrats in Rhinos see, because they want a mass of people coming into our country to stand up against the patriots, the many millions of Americans who are well armed and know how to take care of themselves. And so because we're beginning to stand against what these individuals you're doing out of Washington, d c. And some state capitals as well, like in California, for example, and here in Michigan as well as Illinois, Pennsylvania, et cetera. So this is my estimation as to why they're bringing all these millions of people, because they're ruining our cities. San Francisco used to be one of the seven most beautiful cities on the entire planet. Now it is one of the most worst places to visit on the entire planet. Why because Democrats chose to ruin the place, and taxpayers are forced to pay for this. If you don't pay your taxes there, your property taxes, which pay for that government, they'll come after you with thans gaping. And they're so used to getting away with screwing us over that when we do make a stand, they come after us because we've waited too long to get massively involved in our republic and the issues of the day. How many preachers have told us through the years, Oh, we shouldn't be involved in all that, because well, well, well it's not. We're citizens of heaven and we're waiting to be I guess flown away the flyaway doctrine. And we often wonder what some individuals of our pasts would be thinking about our republic that they left behind, if they were to be brought back to life today. I often wonder what my dad would think about this place, the wondrous stories that he often shared with me about Republican and even individuals like Ronald Reagan, who before he died he had a very optimistic view of our future, saying that our best days lie ahead and so on and so on, and that the founding fathers were to see what's going on today, I think they would just keel right back over it is so. It is in so opposition of what they wrote and the instruction man you'll call the constitution that he left behind. My goodness, gracious a life. But anyway, we're going to be enjoying a good conversation with an upcoming guest. Or name is Lana Crystal. She wrote a wonderful book. I have to admit it's a good one, Conquering the Wilderness trusted tools for tough times, and we are in tough times right now. Some are saying it's going to get a lot worse next year before it gets any better. And that's okay, because I believe that if we the people come together, first of all, decide to come back to God, the one of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, that particular one. If we decide to come back together with Him through his son Yeshia, and do the right thing under his tutelage, guidance, wisdom, etc. We can restore this republic in short order. All of these problems that are besetting a great nation are pretty easy to overcome. Even rescuing the US dollar from imminent demise, it can be done. Simple stuff. Put us back on the gold standard. That would entrap the government, and whenever they would want to spend more money, they'd have to come right back to we the people, and we wouldn't be the deciders as was supposed to be was the original design anyway, But right now, course the dollar could be wiped out as a great currency in the months to come, as more and more nations are saying, wait a minute, we don't have to put up with this. Because the United States dollar has been the world's standard currency for a pretty long time. I don't think any other nation has ever even experienced that with their currency. They were either rich nations or not, and they traded and did as they could. But the United States, if my history is correct from what I remember, is the only nation in the history of the world whose money was the standard of the world. And so many in our government are willing to give that up because they have decided that they want to make a change without our permission, going totally against what type of nation this was designed to be. One that recognizes our unalienable rights, one that recognizes our freedom of speech, our freedom to a symbol, such as they did freely on January sixth, It is what it is sometimes when you allow things to go so far. You know, if you allow rats in your house and you don't get them out, they multiply and they very very difficult to get out. It's simple, but it's still difficult. And that's where we find ourselves today. We have to get the rats out. They've got to chase them out, fumigate them. But are you willing to put in the work, my friends, It's going to be difficult, but we can do it under God's grace. I'm Ron Edwards and of course being brought to you by Patriot Foods. Well, we have a great guest today. Name is Lana Crystal and She's authored a great book, Conquering the Wilderness, Trusted Tools for tough Times, and a lot of great great information. Here. We're going to talk with her right now and we welcome Lana Crystal to the Run Edwards American Experience. Hellolana, Hello Ron. It's an honor to be with you and the listening audience today. Thank you so much. First of all, before we get into the book, what inspired you to write such a great book. I have to admit it, I give it a big sums up and urge everyone to check it out. But what was the inspiration behind it? The inspiration, Ron is that I went through some very difficult and challenging times in my life. Personally, I've been through debilitating illnesses such as MRSA and lyme disease, acute mold toxicity, mercury toxicity. I've been through a divorce, major surgery, I had a second husband who committed suicide. And that's just to name a few. Now, before anyone feels sorry for me, we've all been through tough times. We've all faced adversity, difficulties and challenges in our life, and how I got through them is my message to the world. I share some extremely personal and intimate stories about my life and what I went through and give people the tools to get through their own adversity and challenging and difficult times. So the inspiration is to help other people, you know. I'm just going to kind of try to go in order here. There's so many places in the book I'd like to jump around, especially in the second half of the book, but I'm going to I promise to start in chapter one and I you know, it's very interesting how you describe the wilderness, the wilderness seasons and what is that? How to explain that to the folks? What is what are the wilderness seasons? So the wilderness is defined as spiritual, emotional, mental, physical seasons of difficulties, challenges, and adversities. And in the book, I break these down into tangibles and intangibles. The tangible things that can lead us into a time of difficulty our people in our lives, you know, either people's coming into our lives, people leaving our lives, material possessions, jobs and careers, physical body and our health. And then the intangibles are things such as loss of dreams, loss of desires, lots of vision, loss of hope, trauma, change in a life, circumstance, sadness, grief, anger, any of those related to all of these. So in the book, I define a wilderness season as any of those things that are creating emotional, spiritual, mental, physical difficulties in our lives. Let me ask you this, you know, since yeah, it is true we all go through these wilderness seasons. Are things that we do or do not do? Does that sometime I guess portend how long we will be in the wilderness or not? Absolutely so, there are times when we are in the wilderness when we need discernment to know am I here for a reason? And then we need to first of all around Number one, check our perceptions, you know, look at what's going on around us? What has led me to this wilderness season? Is it something I've done? Is it something someone else has done? Is it a circumstance out of my control, something I can do anything about? And then with that discernment, then we use the tools and I give the tools in the book on how to navigate through that season. So let's take for example, my son in the illness that he had when he was a child, and he had extreme allergies that led him to go even into an anaphylactic reaction where he could not breathe. And that's how really frightening place when you're a parent and your child can't breathe. Well, that was a season that that's not God's plan for us. So I knew to seek what traditional doctors. We were not getting the help that we needed. So I went to holistic doctors and that's where we were able to get these allergies treated and under control. Wow. That that is wow. I have to admit that that's exactly what happened to yours truly here. I had these extreme allergies as a youth, and I used to I get I would get to these points. It would only be during the early autumn September in the ragweed season, but it would be so bad that I would stop breathing. It would I would just choke out and I'd have to go to hospital and all that. But then I changed my attitude. And then I when I changed my attitude, I started looking around and left the pharmaceutical stuff that was not helping me and got into holistics and totally cured. And so I agree with you about changing your perspective perspective on things, and it helps you to look in another direction and you can bring about victory over it. I like what you wrote about on page twelve and the first chapter chapter here about victims versus victor now, Lana, so often in society today, whether it's in many news stories, if you go to go to your average college campus, and even in some churches, people especially on the female side, they are I mean, there's legislation now to support victimhood. In our society. Everyone's a victim and every white person is an evil person or every man is an they're even using the concept of victimization as a dividing tactic in my opinion, But I like your approach here and on page twelve explaining that about victim versus victor. Well, we can look at things several ways. When I had major surgery, so I'm going to personalize this run because the issues that you speak about on a national level are very real issues, and it's about a mindset and perception. A victim would say to me, I'm stuck here, I'll never get better. Like when I had major surgery and all everybody else was out having fun and having a good time, and a victor says, you know what this happens. This is where I am. I'm going to do the best I can to navigate through this situation. And that's one of the reasons I wrote the book. This book is actually a compass. It is a compass through the wilderness. And so to change our thinking and to change our attitudes, we can reach out to friends and family for emotional support, reading uplifting books and stories, watching feel good movies and videos, and accessing our spirit through prayer. That is one of the key things that I highly recommend to everyone. People have asked, is this a religious book? It seems like a religious book because I do speak about God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. It's not religion. Religion is a bunch of laws, worlds, regulations. Here's what you have to do, here's how you have to do it. Spirituality, we are spiritual beings having a human experience. And when we can tap into our spirit and connect it to the divine with a capital D, and that's God. And you mentioned that in the beginning The Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. When we can connect our spirit to the spirit of God, Jesus and Holy Spirit, that is key to navigating these wilderness seasons and not feeling like a victim. There are times when, for example, when I broke my foot and I was home along for two weeks, navigating meals, laundry, getting up and downstairs by myself, and I wasn't frustrating. Yes, did I cried tears, yes, But I didn't allow myself to go, oh, poor me, I'm stuck here all by myself. No. I took the opportunity to change my thinking, to refocus my perception and say, you know what, I can sit and read all I want, I can watch all the movies I want. I can do things that make me feel good and help me be victorious in the situation. And you describe some of this on page fifteen where you develop an US patient endurance. Patient endurance you say will refine our character. Proven character leads us back to hope. And this hope is not disappointing fantasy. And you're number five here because we can now experience the endless love of God and that makes a lot of sense. Of course, there's much more here about how we focus and that see, that's one of the things that we're thrown off. In my opinion, our focus so often we're we're hurting where we're concentrating on our pain or the situation, and that kind of veers us off from focusing on the solution to the problem. Let's say we've got about sixty seconds. You can go into your answer now, or if you want to hold over for the other side of the break, let's hold over to the other side of the break, because I want to delve into that a little more deeply. Okay, cool folks. First of all, we want to thank Alana Crystal for joining us today on this the Rondeverge American Experience, and we will be back in conversation with her on this wonderful book Conquering the Wilderness. The recent decision by the Colorado Supreme Court to disqualify President Trump from the twenty twenty four election and the Buffalo State caused the political equivalent of upsetting a hornet's nest. Hello, I'm ron Edwards on the day's page from the Everards notebook, brought to you by constitutional grounds to coffee you want in your cup. The politically motivated unelected justices of the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that the people of Colorado cannot vote for President Trump for the twenty twenty four presidential election. The leftist justices relied on Section three of the fourteenth Amendment of the US Constitution, which states public officials who have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States may be barred from the ballot. The problem, however, is that President Trump absolutely did not cause or encourage an insurrection, nor did any of the innocent Jay Sixers who remain to this day in the brutal gulag style US prisons. This politically motivated travesty will only serve as an ever greater wake up call and motivation for sincere sovereign Americans who will seek providential guidance and wisdom in a successful effort to wrestle away this Republic from the harbingers of darkness, doom, and tyranny, and restore our status as one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all. So again that's Lanta l A n A k r I S t a l dot com And getting back to the book again. Thanks so much for being with us today, Lana. I like these five points you made here on page fifteen. Developing in us patient endurance. Patient endurance will refine our character. Proven character leads us back to hope, and this hope is not a disappointing fantasy. So I want to stop right there for a minute because sometimes, and I've noticed this, when I've approached people that are going through what seemed to be impossible situations and they get stuck there because when you sometimes will present someone a hopeful possibility. The they feel so ground down in the situation that they're in that they look at the possibility of a solution is like a fantasy, and you know, stop, you know, they'll tell you to shut up or whatever, because they're focused on exactly what they're going on. And how do we experience the endless love of God in the midst of that? And like I said, I've seen this so many times. I've even been guilty of this myself when going through the worst of problems, and you just don't see that light at the end of the tunnel. What say you? That is a great question and one of my favorite questions. Ron it's about our emotions. We have emotions. We were created that way. When Jesus walked the earth, he had probably about every emotion imaginable, from extreme joy to such excruciating terror and pain that he swept blood. So how so Jesus, Jesus was emotional. We are created emotion with emotions. For me personally, when I was married to a husband with post traumatic stress disorder, and there were times that our house was a harnessed nest, yelling and screaming and absolute chaos, and I would have to leave the house at times in order to just get myself recollected. How did I get through that? It was emotional, It was painful, it was upsetting, and I was angry and hurt. Learned to bring my emotions to the Holy Spirit. When I got to the place where I could say, in my mind and again, we're back to that perception, and we're back to how we perceive and how we look at things and how we think. When I was able to do that and not ignore those emotions, but to bring them to a place where I could be calm with the Holy Spirit, then I was able to navigate into that place of having hope in the situation rather than just focusing on the circumstance at hand. Our hope is always in the Lord. He is always there for us, and he is our ever present help in times of trouble. And right now we are going through a lot of trouble in our nation, Ron and you're opening You described all the things going on in our world, and we're in tough times right now. And people, our listeners. Right now, you go to the grocery store and the gas station, and the bills are higher and higher all the time. And these are some tough times we're facing, so we must refocus our intentions, our emotions, and our thoughts. And the way to do that open the Word of God, which is the source of all truth, and seek His guidance and counsel and bring yourself in one with Holy Spirit. Excellent. You know, one of the things that we deal with when we're going through through problems and personal and as you mentioned our national problems collectively. Sometimes especially when it comes to our personal situations, we allow it. I'm afraid to wow, how should I put this? We allow it to dictate how we communicate with others. We show our anger, we show our hurt, and sometimes we do too much of that and it chases people away. But I like over on page thirty two, how you talk about the principles of communicating with others. Just expound upon that. Well, there are fifty seven pages in the book on communication. It takes up a large percentage of the two hundred and six page book. Because communication is key and it's vital. We are doing it all day long, every waking moment, whether we're doing it in our heads to ourselves or whether we are communicating with others. And one of the things that has happened with approximately ninety three percent of our communication being body language. What are the primary ways we are communicating now? By text, by phone, by email, et cetera. So we are we've lost a key component of our communication. But let's talk about a few good communication tools because this, if you take away anything today from this call, this is really helpful. There's active listening and when someone says something to you, engage with them, use eye contact, smile, acknowledge with their words. Uh huh, I hear what you're saying. And when I was in counseling, if you can imagine, after a divorce and then a husband committing suicide, I went through counseling. I knew I needed some help. I went through spiritual and secular counseling, and one of the profound takeaways from counseling was this. You may not like what someone said, you may not agree with what someone said, but what they said is their reality, and we are to accept that that is their reality. Someone can have an entirely different spiritual perspective than I. Someone can have an entirely different political perspective than I have, and I can still have a conversation respectfully with that person by listening, by engaging, and then I love asking this question, would you like to hear my perspective on that? And that gives the person an opportunity to say yes or no. And sometimes somebody will say no, but ninety percent of the time they say yes. And then that opens the door to dialogue. And then I choose my dialogue very carefully, not accusatory, not degrading someone else for their views, even though I may totally disagree, and that keeps communication going, and that keeps relationships healthy, and it keeps us able to keep the door open for further communication. Great stuff. In fact, what you just mentioned over on page forty two, where we don't have to like what someone says. I like how when you bring up something I can find it because I did read through the book and I have to tell you, folks, this is a really good book. And it's very concise and well written. And I like the fact that you break it down step by step by step about here on page forty four, for example, clearing communication roadblocks. There's so many communication roadblocks in our republic today, Atlanta, and you see it every day, whether it's in the political realm, economics, whatever, and how you talk about overcoming this and even with forgiveness, man sum that up for us. Well, let's talk about roadblocks first just a little bit. Those are the types of things that well, let's focus on forgiveness. If I have not forgiven someone for what they have done, and let's remember this important piece of information. It was really important for me, and I remind myself of this frequently when we forgive someone, that doesn't mean what they did was okay. What that means is is it's an act of our heart and our mind, and it releases us emotionally and spiritually from invisible ties to another person, or to and to an individual, or to the situation. So if I haven't forgiven someone, if I'm mad and angry and they've done something and they've thrown shaded me and they've hurt me and whatever, and let's say I run into them at a party, I you know, I'm not really going to want to engage in conversation with them. And forgiveness doesn't mean necessarily that we have to go say hey, I forgive you for what you said, or so it can be between us and God because I forgive that person. I have had people that have done egregious things towards me. Every one of us, everyone listening knows someone who you know they've been hurt by or whatever. And so breaking that off, that doesn't mean we have to go hold hands and seeing kumbayah all of a sudden, but it releases us in a in a spiritual way, so that we're not in an unhealthy tie. We're not unhealthily bound to that individual. And then another roadblock and communication. It's our again, We're back to that perception and we need to look and see if I feel this way about someone, is there based on a reality? You know, did they really say? So? Often miscommunication will lead to a division in relationship, and when we can clarify that one of my favorite phrases in here is this clear, concise communication creates clarity. And in the book I have as Ron has mentioned trusted tools. So a trusted tool is a little trusted tool icon. And then it's just one or two sentences, so you can flip through the book and you can just you know, have it wherever you are and just open it up at any moment, Like I just flipped to page eighty five. Here it says identifying your feelings leads to illumination and understanding. So throughout the book are these types of trusted tool that will help you with your communication and all aspects. And you can get all of these trusted tools in Conquering the Wilderness. Written by Lana Crystal Lanta Crystal, and her website is www dot Lantacrystal dot com. Well, the Fifth Circuit rules in favor of Texas. Biden regime can no longer destroy state border fences or cut down the wire on the border. That's good, that's a good first step in the right direction. Also, Texas is getting ready to start returning these illegal border crossers, at least pushing them back over into Mexico. Of course, the Mexican president, along with the regime leader Biden, are fighting against that effort to protect our republic from them, the legions of illegals that continue to pour into our republic. Man oh Man, oh Man, that was great. The Lone Star State appealed the district court's decision that allowed federal agents to destroy state border fences. But thank god that right now that is no longer allowed, but they have to remain. Ever, isn't it a shame? We pay amongst the highest taxes in the world, and yet this government is working like crazy to destroy us. Alejandro Mayorcus Yep, he's the border, the border guy, right, He's the one that order ordered all the cutting and everything, and he had the nerve to sit there the congressional hearings to say the border is secure. It is secure, there's no problem. Texas has constructed along more than twenty nine miles of municipal and private land in the Eagle Pass sector of the southern border, so prayerfully they will not be allowed. What Texas need to do is also send down National guardsmen to protect it because the cartel people they also cut through that constantine wire, so they still need to guard that. And while they're guarding the wire, touch it to go ahead and say, you know what, we're just going to start building the wall. Just start building it. Forget it, forget about it, forget about all these illegal, unconstitutional actions of the federal government. See if the government is trying to force you to commit societal suicide by allowing all of these millions of young men coming into our country to do harm, just allowing them come in, that's national suicide. And many Americans have been harmed physically by these brutes. So I do not think that we are just we are obligated to even obey and go along with such decisions of the Biden regime. It's high time that we just say, you know what, screw it, We're going to do what we have to do. And I still, as I said in the first segment of the program, I have to wonder what people that I knew in my earlier life, and what some historical figures would would think about if they were to be brought back alive. Now we'd have to hang our heads in shame because the prior generations left us a pretty good place to live. All we had to do, all we had to do was Americans, was build on the positive aspects of this great society, not continue to malinger on the issue of slavery, Jim Crow other stupids of what we should have been doing. See, there was an organization that predates for example, I'll give you here a nice example here. Well, you know about the NAACP that was started by liberal whites, liberal Jews, and blacks like W. E. B. Du Bois. They come from the bitter crowd, and so the blacks of that era were being led around by the nose by the liberal whites and liberal Jews who wanted to divide the blacks and destroy the black community without the blacks even realizing that's what was going on through the NAACP. What an irony, huh. Well, pre dating the NAACP, there was another organization started by Booker T. Washington and other economic oriented blacks and who are also who are Christians as well. Booker T. Washington and it was called the National Negro Business League. And what they chose to do because they understood that there was no way in heaven or hell that they could change the mindset of an individual in any greater manner than becoming self sufficient and non dependent upon people that hate you. They said, fine, just leave us alone, allow us the liberty to succeed or fail as we pursue a better life. And Frederick Douglas, I'll never forget reading about this, how he begged the liberals of that day, the abolitionists, after the blacks were slaved. He said, we're freed rather from slavery. He said, please back up, just help us if we need your help to protect us from the Democrats who want to enslave us, burned us out, or whatever. But as far as anything else, allow us to go through the labor of building our own communities, building our own and establishing our own businesses, et cetera, so we can get inculcated into our American culture here, into our system. The ability to become economically viable in the American society's That was Frederick Douglas's biggest effort before he died, and that was one of the biggest the only favors he asked of the white man at that time. Leave us alone, Let leave us be, and we'll be fine. But they couldn't leave it like that. You had the infected people that wanted to come in because they had a long view of destroying America as they are doing today, and they knew that they could start with the black community by talking about victimhood. They all hate you, YadA YadA, YadA, making them more enamored with the thought of the white man past them on the head and saying you're a good boy, rather than saying, you know what, we're men and women and we're gonna build our own communities. We're gonna build our now, Doug, that's not right. What did you do with the clock? Oh? Well, now that I see that, my time is up. Thank you so much for your time. I'm ron Edwards reminding you to pray for your nation, pray for your friend's family and even your enemies, and treat others the way you would want to be treated. Now I'm Ron Edwards. Bye now Chang
