These kinds of activities are going on throughout the United States and Great Britain and elsewhere throughout the world. And as the drag Queen Story Hour spread across our republic, one publisher of Christian children's books called Brave Books decided to fight back. Partnering with former child star and popular Christian activist Kirk Cameron, Brave Books launched a competing book tour in which traditional parents would invite Cameron to read a book from Braves catalog at a local library. Sounds good, right, Well, guess what's been happening. As they've been booking these events across the country, libraries the leftist Library Association has been purposefully canceling these events or always coming up with something if they say, well, we want something for September fifth, oh, that's already booked. Once they find out what organization is doing this, So we've got to work and end and around once again, my friends, because the reason why the Library Association is doing it is because here's the thing. They don't want to offend democrats, They don't want to offend certain parents that agree with this. But what about the fact that they are offending Christians and conservatives. They are offending people that simply want to raise their children in the way that they should go, so that when they are old, they do not depart our country. The United States of America, our constitution recognizes not only the parental rights, but the parental duty to raise their children in the way that they should go, to teach them right from wrong, and not to purposefully corrupt their minds. And see, my friends, this is part of the huge battle that's going on today. It's a spiritual and natural battle. The reason why they want to continue to go after children because that is a guaranteed way that you can destroy a society. Once you redirect the natural growth of a young mind, it is much more difficult to reintroduce good moral thinking and good moral actions when they get older. That is why it has been so important, my friends, throughout history, to teach your children right, beginning from the point that they start understanding Mamma and dad dad. But we're at a point, my friends, where the rubber is meeting the road. Will the American Church rise to this occasion or continue to falter? Has historically been the case ever since the nineteen fifties. Will Christians see the opportunity to restore righteousness in our republic and in Great Britain? Will they have the stones to do it? Will they have the ability as did Daniel long ago who went again against the dictates of the king, and he prayed openly, He said, Hey, I'm not going to hide, and he prayed openly. Did he get in trouble, yes, But because he had great faith, guess what happened? He won. And the individual who the same thing with the Mordecai, Hayman, tried to have a Mordecai strung up and guess what Hayman got haymanized. Yep, he ended up dangling down. So those are examples in the Bible which teaches us and shows us. Playing is plain as the nose on our faces that God will stand with us when we stand on what He wants us to stand. And that is what is so important for today. Now. It's very disheartening to understand what it was a story, Doug. I think it was just a couple of days ago in which I was talking about, only thirty seven percent of all ministers in the United States even teach from a biblical perspective from their pulpits. It might be lower than that, but I think it was around thirty seven percent. And so when you think that a minority of ministers in the United States of America, and it's probably similar in Great Britain are teaching from the Biblical perspective, then can you clearly understand why both nations, two of the greatest nations of all time, are in a free fraul downward And let's not talk about France. Frances burning because of utter foolishness concerning their border. And what is going on in France is what Biden and others want to happen here in the United States. This is around Edward American Experience Faith Friday edition. And today we've got two great guys. Ben Kolberson, he is the Chancellor of Great Commission United he's visiting us into this United States of America from Great Britain. And of course b Man Brian McKay, he's pastor of Victory Biker Church. Welcome, gentlemen, and great to have you guys. And I want to talk about issues, but I want to you guys to address them in your own unique way. I want to have a British perspective and I want to have an American perspective. And one of the issues I want to start off with is something that I've already been talking about on the broadcast about how these nasty people are continuing to poison our children through the library system. And then you have a conservative Christian organization, a publisher of books, and they are posting or trying to host clean oriented book events for children across America and they're being blocked out. Now here's an example of individuals doing the positive thing, doing the right thing, and still being blocked out. I like to just you both to address on how we should go from here when a man is stepping out, he's doing the right thing and still being blocked out. Where do we go from here? Well, good military term is to adapt and overcome. I'm reminded of what the apostle Paul wrote in Titus, chapter one, verse fifteen, when he said, to the pure, all things are pure. But to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure. But even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny him, even being abominable and disobedient and disqualified for every good work. So if the libraries are saying, oh no, we're booked that day, Oh no, we're we can't, We've got another event, do something different, use the park, do something different, Just be creative. That's my response to them. I like, I like your response, especially for summer, spring and summertime, use the park, but there is fall and winter. But um do you think? And first of all, before I go further, I want Ben to jump in and with his perspective, Ben, what do you how do you see this should be dealt with? Or do you agree totally with pastor McKay. I have to be honest. Brian is absolutely spot on. But in England the perspective is slightly different because of the differences in culture and the way in which laws in England differ from the US. Um someone once said, I forget who it was. He said, think when righteous men do nothing, m we lose. And the truth is that many Christians abdicate their responsibility in so many different ways that the whole truth is that in England, if you speak against what we call gay rights, if you speak against religion which is different to yours, it's classed as a hate crime. And so we find other ways of dealing with issues, dealing with circumstances. The guy that's opening or trying to get into the libraries is doing exactly the right thing. He's trying to promote the Gospel as he sees it. But the main problem is not the opening of the book clubs in the libraries. The main problem is the fact that believers have abdicated the responsibility and chose not to speak, chose not to physically confront with the word of God. Us. We have to understand that salvation is the issue of here. Salvation. Knowing Jesus as your Lord and Savior changes everything, and so so for me. I'm reminded of the fact that there is only one name under Heaven by which mankind can be saved. And it ain't coming through gay rights. It ain't coming through the various religions in the world. It ain't coming through the various situations and various political parties that are in the world. It comes to Jesus Christ and him only, and as a believer in Christ, as a minister of the Gospel, you know, I kind of want to get the message out to everybody that you know, we need we need to build a new relationship with Jesus. We need to turn away from the things that separate us from God and concentrate on what the Word of God says and live life in that manner. H very good. I like both of your perspectives on this. I think it's excellent and spot on. Well. I was going to bring up affirmative action, but I don't think they have affirmative what's called affirmative action in Great Britain, But I think I can bring it up in this way. A fair and an unfair approach to life been in our country. Our Supreme Court recently ended what's called affirmative action and Affirmative action in the United States is something where you take one race and give them preferential treatment. And whether it's in going into college, whether it's going for a job, it doesn't matter if they're qualified or not. They've been the chosen ones for this time period to get a leg up on everyone else, especially if they're unqualified. Rather than securing equal opportunity for all, they are creating, creating division with preferential treatment for certain groups. Now, the Supreme Court in the United States brought that to an end, and I think that that was a God sin. But we need to go a step further, in my opinion, and that we have to turn around and now address the school problem, which did not properly educate and make people, you know, bring them up to speed when it came to qualifying for jobs, whether it came to qualifying for for college or whatever. And I think that as a totally ungodly situation here many many churches believe in or not we're in favor of this preferential treatment, which I think is totally ungodly. God gives us all equal, equal opportunity for eternal life, and the United States was built on that principle. Of equal opportunity in life, not equal results. What say you, let's start with you this time being what the reality is that ron that in England, the equal opportunity scheme as I was growing up, gave every man and every individual that was going through school, university, college the right to grow at their own level, to further their education in order to find work. The school system in the UK, it's support it's supporting transgender it's supporting homosexuality, it's supporting all of these things because it's law in Gray Britain. And so the schools are not a place to find God. And yet within the schools there are individuals who bring the message of Christ in as part of the curriculum because the curriculum supports all the religions and it's hard, and many people in the UK are moving the children from certain classrooms where certain things are being taught, and the homeschooling. They're doing things like this. The question is where do we find our morality. Do we find our morality in the ballot box or do we find our morality in our faith in Christ Jesus. Our morality and our ethics are flying through the window because the one with the biggest voice is the one that seems to have the biggest power. But Jesus Christ is still the same yesterday to day and forever, and lives are being changed. Maybe that I don't know if that answers your question. But the affirmative process, from what you're talking about, does not necessarily happen in the UK, but there are other ways in which it happens. I was at university and I had a lecture saying, I'm training X in order to become X, so that X can do this and to do that and do the other. And we need to understand that we have to have that voice. We have to recognize who we are, recognize who we are in Christ Jesus, and then move on into things of God. And if that brings us into confrontation, we have to be prepared to stand up and say, yeah, I totally disagree with you. M a man agreed. Yeah, I'm so thankful that they finally did away with affirmative action here in the United States. Pastor McKay, you were about to address the affirmative action issue and how that just viewing it from your perspective, and what it has, what harm it has done, and how we are overcoming it if we will. Yeah, I was just saying that I'm thankful that affirmative action has finally been overturned and gotten rid of. You know, I faced it, you know in the past where I apply for a job or want to advance and maybe a new career, and I've literally been told this, you can't do this because you're the wrong color. And I'm like, what and so, But that's not the issue really to me. And we've heard the Democratic Party say these things, even Joe Biden, the the the want to be president of the United States, say things like, you know, if you're not white, I'm not paraphrasing here, if you're not white, you're not smart enough. To do this, so we have to have affirmative action. Well, that's sending the wrong message. The affirmative action sends the wrong message that if you're not white, you can't compete, which is totally wrong. I know so many people of different colors and backgrounds that are so intelligent, so skilled, and so so much smarter than I am. Right, and if you're qualified for the job, you should get the job. Right. Everyone should have the ability to get into school, to get into education, to compete, and it's a level playing field now in my opinion. Wow, and I believe with you. I just think that we need to now turn our attention to the government schools which have been purposefully misdirecting a children away from real education and more into indoctrination and really snuffing out the intellectual prowess of America and killing off American ingenuity. We are experiencing not only here in the United States, but in Great Britain and especially even in France. It's called the Islamic version of America Great Britain in France, I believe personally the jihadist ideology of the twenty first century represents a far greater threat to Western nations than the communist ideology expressed during the twentieth century. The link between the two ideologies is that both act totalitarian and subservient, and they don't respect anything but themselves. What say you, not only about this particular situation, but what can we do about it? And Pastor Brian, I'd like you to start kick this one off well. I'm reminded of what the apostle Paul wrote in Scriptures said, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but are spiritual. We need to get as close to Jesus as we possibly can. The enemy is going to do what the enemy is going to do, and that doesn't matter because God laughs at what the enemy does. I believe Jesus is getting ready to come soon, and I choose to keep my focus on the Lord Jesus Christ and still be able to minister to and actually speak truth to, whether it be you know, anybody in the Muslim faith or any other faith or no faith, by showing them the Gospel through my actions, which speak louder than words. Many times, I just believe God is still any control of it all, and I choose to love him and follow him a man. Pastor of Ben Chancellor Ben Alcobersen. We know that Islamic subversion is an even greater pace in places like France, so where there's a lot of burning going on right now in suburban Paris and other cities throughout that great nation. And you have the no go zones and Birmingham in England and elsewhere. How does this impact you, just as a sovereign individual in Christ when you look at your nation that is allowing itself to be subverted in such a way. And yes, we are our main focus is Jesus Christ, but we are still earthlings. We are still members of a nation. I believe we're supposed to care about our country, and we are supposed to influence our country, not only through prayer and just spreading the Gospel, but through actions. We are to influence institutions, whether they be educational, governmental, etc. Etc. What say you, sir, I think I'm going to turn this around in the sense that every individual in this world has the right to find Jesus, regardless of what faith and what religion they purport. The whole principle of the world in which we live is that it is a dangerous world. But let it be absolutely clear, I can go anywhere in Great Britain, in any religious community of Great Britain, and I am perfectly safe. I can live my life in Great Britain. I can manifest and promote my faith in Great Britain and be completely safe from any kick back from any religious organization. The most important thing we need to do as Christian believers is respect the other individual, even if they do not believe what I believe. If we show respect, we will often receive respect, and where we don't receive it respect, we have the right to turn around and walk away. In Great Britain, I'm mixed with all faiths, all religions and all people. I speak to Muslims and Christians and Siekhs and Hindus alike. I have no problems talking about my faith to any of them. There is a minority which are seeking to harm the world in which we live, and most religious communities are totally against that minority. And it's important to understand our job is to promote the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not to promote the antics of a few who seek to divert our attention. I totally agree with Brian. The lifestyle that you live will either separate you from somebody or join you together with somebody. And if my lifestyle as such that allows me to go anywhere, even to the Muslim Council of Great Britain, and I've sat in that council. It's massively important to understand the way in which you manifest your life and the way in which you promote your life will make a difference to the lives of those whom you meet and have discussion with. The question is how you have that discussion. If you go in and you go in like a buller and a China gate, as they say, or a bull in a China store, you're always going to get confrontation. But if you show respect, you gain respect, and that is not tolerance. I live my life as a Christian believer, and everyone in Great Britain that knows me knows that I live my life that way, regardless of the persuasion, sexual or other wives. But it's about respect, my brother, It's about respect, my friends. We need to respect one another. Allow the message of Jesus Christ to go to the hooso eva by the way in which we live our lives. Very good, excellent, excellent stuff, gentlemen, Well we just have about a couple of minutes. I'd like each of you too, if you're so led, to give a prayer as you you feel led, and for our nations, for our people, and for the furtherance of the Gospel. Father, we lift up not only the United States, we lift up the United Kingdom, we lift up the rest of the world. When our Lord, I know that you're coming, My Lord, my prayer is for all of us, Father God, for every human being, that Lord, that we would turn our eyes, our gaze back to you. Lord Jesus, you are the author of peace. You are the Great I am. You are God, and you are God alone, and we need you. Lord. I pray for a sense a drawing, a conviction of your spirit, Lord, that would draw every one of us, every man, every woman, every child, to repentance. That you would bring revival and refreshing to each and every person, each and every family, each and every home, That Lord God, their hearts would be prepared and be touched by the power of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Father, that every one, every man, every woman, every teen, every child would be born again, because in that is peace. As we continue to blow away in the midst and reveal the truth. Well, I had a bunch of stories that I wanted to get into some issues of the day, but I just believe it or not. Just seconds ago, came across this article by Her name is miss all Back, and she's a writer for News with Views, and I caught the title, caught my attention, Wheat among Terrors, and I started reading it during the commercial break, and I'm just going to share as much of it as i can at this time. It goes as this, I've been spending a lot of time the past year or more reevaluating my convictions and beliefs. The old adage the more you learn, the less you know, has resonated through my core. I won't bore you with all the categories I've revisited, or even all the things I've reevaluated and changed some of my thinking on. I'll just let you know where I am now. I know nothing completely. I only know in part I am fumbling my way to learning more. Let the record state you know how President Reagan said, it isn't so much that liberals are ignorant, it's just that they know so many things that aren't. So I just don't want to be that. I need the little parts I do need to be truth watching the systematic dismantling of our republic has been ruled. There are no less than a hundred serious issues in the United States of America, and most of them have been assessed prof prophetically or proficiently rather in the public square. As I found myself more and more burdened by the seeming growing darkness, I sought all the harder to find the light. It's been almost two years of this pursuit, and this is where I find myself to day. I've been looking at it all wrong. The Ancient of days cannot be defeated, minimized, or subdued. However, dark to days or becoming is irrelevant to the Kingdom of God, which cannot be destroyed, defeated, or even altered. The spirit keeps leading me back to Daniel seven, the vision of the coming beasts in Daniel's day. Do you recall that when the Son of Man is presented in Daniel's vision, that he was given dominion, glory, and a kingdom that is everlasting and cannot be destroyed Verse fourteen. But wait, it gets even better. That kingdom that Christ takes dominion of is given to the saints of God, who will possess it for all ages to come verse eighteen, and again in verse twenty seven, she goes on, I realize there will be some theological differences here of when that occurs, but I don't have space to get into that right now. Let me just say I am thoroughly convinced that kingdom has been given to Christ upon his victory over the devil and death. He now possesses it, as do the saints of God. This means try as the darkness may, it cannot achieve the takeover of the earth. It can only take what it is given. And let's be clear about this, it accomplishes this through deceit. Yes, people yield to the darkness because they are blind, ignorant, and or deceived. But we are children of the light, and we merely have to resist the darkness, and it has to flee. According to James four seven, Now before you you know, you know, I'm going to stop right there. But I mean this is very reflective of where we're at, and I think it's reflective of the attitude that we all should have as believers in Christ. Then, no matter what's going on, we keep our eyes on the light, we keep our lives there. I mean, we keep our lives focused on that straight and narrow path, and we bring all those who have eyes to see and ears to hear along with us. So, my friends, we should never give up. We shall never ever give in. We must fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, And as John Paul Jones said famously during the Revolutionary War, we have only just begun to fight. And as men and women of God, we can rest assured that ultimately we are the victors because we have victory in Christ, don't we. So, my friends, do not be dismayed by the French riots. Do not be dismayed by the communists that are taking over the United States of America as we speak. Do not, in Great Britain be dismayed by things that are unraveling in your great nation, because we are members of the Kingdom of all kingdoms that will one day. I don't know how soon it will be or how far away it will be. Many say that the Kingdom of God that your issue is coming back very soon. Some say it could still be a long long time. But it doesn't matter, because ultimately it is going to happen. And my friends, when it does happen, what place will you be locked in whether you're alive or or if you've already passed on. I think that's the focus we must take. And we must also focus on being that example, so that if nothing else, people will know that Christ is real because they see Him in us and how we act, how we speak, how we live. So and we must be brave. We must, especially us men, We must be brave. We must be willing to push back the darkness and stand on the ultimate truth and not be afraid. There may come a time, my friends, where you're believing in Christ could cause you your neck. It's happening all over the world now. More Christians were killed in the twentieth century, and more being killed now than any other time in history. Physical slavery is now prevalent now than any other time in world history. It's hard to believe that, but but that's true. But the question remains, what will you do? Will you be like the thirty seven percent of pastors who are telling the truth, who are speaking of a righteous standard, who are truly leading those to Christ, Or will you be like the scarity cat majority of ministers who today do not stand on the unadulterated word of God. Yep. The choice is up to you, my friends. The choice is up to you. Cannot be dismayed or disappointed in the Biden regime or the Macrone, the situation in Great Britain, I mean in France. I'm sorry about that. But we also must not be dismayed by what's going on in Great Britain. But we take our joy in Christ. But we I think if we, as as followers of Christ, did a better job of reflecting his joy, his strength and his power, I think we could have a positive impact on our societies. We should not have given up our positions of influence, but it is what it is. But going forward, what will you do, my friends? That is the question. Your actions will be the answer. I'm Ron Edwards.
