Well, good day, good day, Hello, and how are you. I'm not Edwards, and welcome to the Run Edwards American Experience. And today we are of course recognizing Good Friday and the recognition of a good Friday. We remember the death of our savior, Jesus Christ, who sacrificed his life so that we could live, and we have the opportunity for eternal life with him. And we're going to be talking about that and other aspects of Good Friday and Eastern and what that means with our guests today. Apostle Ellis Smith, and he he travels nationally, in fact, releasing Apostolic order and an acute awareness of biblical worldwide worldview to the listeners. Now, his passion is to help believers think and act like God in their personal walk with Christ and impact the church corporately. Apostle Smith as a deep passion for educational reform, moral and biblical values in our country being restored. And we're going to be talking with him in just a few minutes. But there are a few other interesting stories around the world. One of them, here's a very unusual display of the appreciation for Good Friday. Well, in the Philippines, there's a gentleman who has been crucified for thirty six years in a row in the Philippines as part of his tradition of celebrating Good Friday. In the small town out of San Pedro, Kudud in the Philippines, continued its annual tradition of staging real crucifixions to mark Good Friday, honoring its most prolific participant, Carpenter Ruben Jay with the bloody ritual for the thirty sixth time. Now, when they first began this back in I believe it was in nineteen sixty two in this town. At that time, the men celebrating or recognizing the crucifixion of Christ would have themselves simply tied to a cross. But then they said, well, wait a minute, we want to really feel with what Jesus Christ went through, and they've since then have had themselves nailed to the cross every single Good Friday. I'm looking at the picture of a gentleman who does this every single year. He says this is going to be his last time because he's getting older. He's sixty four years of age, and he doesn't think he can do it anymore. I don't think he could do it anymore. Could you imagine having yourself literally nailed to across every single year? I mean that's crazy. And the older you get, it's more difficult to heal. Can you imagine the condition of his hands and his bones there. But anyway, this is his way of recognizing the sacrifice that Jesus Christ did for us. Now we do thank him. But man, I think even Christ himself would say, you know what, you're just people. I mean, you're going a bit too far. But that's just my opinion. We'll see what our guest today thinks about that. But we're also going to be talking about some other issues. For example, in Great Britain, you guys in Great Britain, Boy Jennifer Mayley is a Christian nurse in Great Britain who referred to a male trans identifying convicted of pedophile activities. Now Jennifer Maylee is in big trouble. You know why because she identified the convicted pedophile prisoner as a mister. Now. She was working a shift. She's a senior nurse and she was called to assist with a volatile patient, mister X, a prisoner who wanted to self discharge. Well, after Jennifer referred to him as mister, he screamed out, do not call me mister. I am a woman. Well, Jennifer replied, and she said she couldn't refer to him as her or she as it was against her Christian faith and her eyes because she could only see a man, but instead offered to call him by his name. Then she then it rather hollered back, well should I call you the N word? The man? Yet? Also yes? A black inward. Rather than giving her support and protecting her, the National Health Association of Great Britain Trust where she worked, punished her. The prisoner who's a convicted pedophile is in a high security male prison for multiple convictions for luring boys into sex acts while pretending to be a teenage girl on social media. Now, the prisoner's medical records listed him as male, not female or tranny the name the name board simply gave a feminine name. Now he appeared masculine, standing over six feet tall and very large. Jennifer was pulled aside and told she had to respect equality and diversity. Then she was pressured to supply management with a statement and warned that if she did not attend a mandatory meeting with HR, she would be sent home while the investigation was happening. Faces disciplinary action for supposedly breaking the code of conduct by not calling mister X she now she or it she rather. Is also facing an inquisition by the Nursing and Midwife Frey Council of Great Britain. With the support of the Christian Legal Center, Jennifer is fighting for justice and standing for the freedom to speak truth. It's pretty sad that in many Western nations, including Spain, there's another There is another example, which I'll bring up later, where someone is in big heap of trouble for simply telling the truth. You see a man, you call him a man. You see a woman, you see you call her a woman. I mean, it's real simple, it's real elementary. But these leftists have gotten things so mixed up and so confusing, and it's on purpose. It's not about someone getting it confused, and they don't understand. This is all by design to simply destroy God's norms in society because they want to get rid of the concept of God. They don't want us to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. They don't want us to recognize and remember his birth, and they definitely don't want us to recognize his conquering of death and our chance for eternal life with him. So our prayers go out for Mss Jennifer in Great Britain that she is victorious in this situation. And see they're trying to bring this madness and make it norm in our country. And why is it that these people have to seem to have such a stronghold in Western Europe and gaining a stronghold in this country. And it's very simple because those of us who know better, in the Church and elsewhere have been too cowardly, too quiet, too unwilling to make a stand and say, you know what right is right, wrong is wrong? A man is a man and a woman is a woman, and stand on that and refuse. We have to refuse to be intimidated, just like many of us were refused to be intimidated during the Corona China virus situation. Many of us did not take the jab. Many people did not wear those masks, those face diapers. We didn't do it. And you know, we are not required to obey and go along with unjust laws or declarations or whatever. We're not required by God's law to do that. And we see guys pretending to be girls. They're giving psychologists headaches trying to figure out what kind of mental illness to categorize them. We've got homosexuals parading around like crazy people, wearing absurd outfits and performing sickening acts of decadence in front of little children. You know, the drag queens, morality, children, ethics, and rational behavior be damned. This is a spectacular way of how to destroy the United States of America. It's a long drawn out decline by design. But we can overcome that. We can destroy their effort. How about that. This is a good Friday as we celebrate and to recognize and give thanks to God for his ultimate sacrifice. Boy, there's ringing. Okay, what unprofessional stuff is going on? Now? So anyway, as we continue, it seems that as we recognize our good Friday, there is some good us believe it or not, that, at least here in the United States, there has been a recent growth in church attendance. There has been a growth in the recognition of God Almighty, especially among the younger Americans, because many younger people are fed up with the bull capitalist of the older folks, the misleading, the misteachings of the generations, which have led to America's current rate of decline. Anyone can understand. That. You know the scientific principle of for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. And I believe that the long drawn out decline of our country is the reason why you are seeing an uptick in younger Americans saying, you know, what this is is a bunch of madness, and maybe there is a better way. And that better way is Jesus Christ. Because who wants to live with the work of anyone with a good brain? Who wants to live in utter decline and utter madness? Who wants to live in the nation where your rights are not properly recognized, where your rights are not even protected. And it takes years to tear a great country down, But once you move over the fall safe point, the decline accelerates, and our decline has accelerated in recent years. But we are at a point where we can possibly stop this accelerated decline. And one of the reasons why is because something that is the total opposite of what happened just one year ago and the previous administration is I called it the Uncle Joe Biden administration. In the Bible recognizes it points out that when a nation has a more righteous leader, God blesses that nation. But when you have the type of so called leader that we had just a year ago in the Biden administration, your nation will be an utter decline, an accelerated decline as it was. But as it's been reported, the New York Times came out with the column today just totally making fun of the Trump administration because of their recognition and respect for God for Resurrection Sunday, for Good Friday, and realizing pointing out how great it is that we should be one nation under God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, that is the one whose son shed his blood for us. And I believe that you are going to soon recognize be able to see a huge difference in the direction of our country in many ways, because, like I said, when the leadership has at least a recognition of morality of God, his principles, etc. And encourages the nation to follow suit, you are going to see the influence of that particular administration, which is good. And you talk about a trickle down theory, I believe you're going to see some very good things coming out now. Is the leadership of the Christian leadership that is now a prominently a part of the White House. Are they perfect? No, there are some very good leaders, Christian leaders that are regularly in the West Wing. The Trumpe administration did not want the Christian leaders in the White House in some obscure office, but they wanted it right next to the Oval Office in the West Wing because the Trumpe administration recognizes the importance of our Creator and the importance of recognizing our Creator. And you have various ministers and other Christian leaders coming in and out of the White House on a regular basis. Now, the New York Times article today is making fun of that, saying, oh, they're trying to force Christianity down off the roads, you know, the drill. But yet, isn't it funny how when last year when Uncle Joe made a big deal out of Ramadan, made a big deal during the during the Easter break of trannyism and everything that is not good on the day they call Easter on Resurrection Sunday. Now, my problem with the New York Times article more so it's basically the hip hop see of it. I don't have a problem with their right to express themselves, etcetera. Etcetera, etcetera. But this selective irritation of Wow, they're trying to recognize Christianity. They're trying to recognize the God of the Bible. Oh my God, they're trying to create a biblical state. What about the separation of church and state? Now, they don't talk about the separation of mosque in state when the Ramadan is recognized, and even the Trump administration recognized Ramadan, not to the level that he's recognizing Resurrection Sunday, Good Friday and Christmas and all of that the way they do, but they it's recognized there. And yet when Ramadan is recognized, the leftists at the New York Times and elsewhere, they don't complain about and they don't call for a separation of mosque and state. Only when it comes to Christianity do their knickers get in a wad. And there's a reason for that, because out of the Word of God, out of the Bible, came the concept of true liberty for the individual. And one thing that has been displayed over the past few years under the Uncle Jory administration is their disdain and hatred of our rights, of our individual unalienable rights which come from God. And the right to seek to be good, the right to seek to raise their children in the way that they should go so that when they are older they do not depart. That is resurrection day. In Spain they've sentenced twenty one year old nationalist activist Isabelle Peralta to one year in prison for daring to voice concerns about mass immigration to her nation as is happening in France, Great Britain and to a lesser degree in Greece and Italy. Her crime speaking out at a twenty twenty one protest in Madrid where she declared, quote, we suffer an unprecedented racial replacement and shouted meriti l invader, Death to the invader. For those words, Ronto was convicted of hate speech. In April of twenty twenty five. She was slapped with a one thousand and eighty pound fine and stripped of voting rights. A chilling message to conservatives and nationalists that dissent comes at a steep cost. Well, one who paid the ultimate steep cost, Jesus Christ. And that's why we recognize that on this Good Friday and today to celebrate with us. And why do we celebrate such a tragic event on Good Friday. Our guest, he's here to talk about that. His name is Ellis Smith. He's a great pastor. I've known him for many years and he is here hester. Welcome back to the Ron Edwards American experience in bite. I certainly appreciate it. Thank you, Pastor. You know I was earlier in the broadcast. In fact, I want to get your take on this. An extreme recognition of Good Friday. A gentleman in the Philippines has his self nailed to a cross, and he's been doing this for thirty four years, where he has himself nailed to a cross in recognition of Good Friday. Now, we're supposed to worship Christ and give recognition, but wouldn't you say that's a bit extreme? Just say the very least is extreme, and it's also misguided and almost to be careful here, doing something like that can carry the spirit of the Antichrist on it, because the spirit of the Antichrist isn't just that which opposes Christ but the Greek word but antichrist also means that which is under than Christ, and this falls in that category. So the reality is that is not something that has a biblical mindset attached to it. Yeah, I kind of agree there. Now when you think about Good Friday. Now, as a little child, I used to ask my parents, well, Christ died and he was tortured and he went through such hell for us, Why do we call it good Friday? I know why, but I just want you to share with our audience. Why is such a tragic event called good Friday? Very good question, Ron, I'm not even sure if good even explained it properly. This is a great, amazing, incredible Friday. The reality is what happened on that day. Had that not happened, we'd all be doomed and condemned to death, the ultimate deaths, which your spiritual death. This is the reason why he came, that we might have life and have it more abundantly. So the reality is when we talk about what happens on Calvary, the narrative goes very very deep. Not just Jesus God for our sins. It's something that has some very very deep implications as it relates to why he died. He had to be sinless in order to take our place. And so, because of a biblical concept called the hypostatic union, all that God is and all that man is was the fabric of one individual that would be Jesus, meaning he is Deity and he's man. He is not half God and half man. He's one hundred percent God and one hundred percent man. And because of that his blood was the only thing that could be the propreciation for our sin. You really think about it, all of us get our sin nature from our father, not from our mother. And we get our blood type from our father, not from our mother. Whenever there's any question about who's the father of a child, they do a what do we call it a blood test, a perfect blood to sacrifice for us, because he had no earthly father. So the implication of this goes very deep. That's why it's a bloody gospel. I hate using that term, but you talk about the cross, what redeemed us? It was his blood. His blood washes us, His blood redeems us. It has some very deep connotations. So when he said it is finished on cavalry, he didn't say he was finished. He said it is finished. And in the Greek language, the word it is finished is the word to tell us die. And that word has some deep implications because what it really really needs is when someone committed a crime in that culture, in that day and time a Roman rule, someone committed a crime were once they served their sentence. When they were released, the warden would stamped on a piece of paper to tell us guy, which meant the penalty for this man's crime has paid in full. So when Jesus said that it is finished, to tell us, guy, he's really saying, the penalty for my sin, your sin, and all the sins of the world has been paid in full. What an amazing Friday. Absolutely. Now, in our modern times, there have been many interpretations of that, and one of them that I have noticed from certain i'll just say so called Christian leaders. Some of them are very very well known, and they will say things like, well, once I'm born again, I'm born again and my spirit is saved, but I can do what I want to in my flesh. And so it's like once saved always say, but there's a little bit more to that, wouldn't wouldn't you say. Without a doubt? Is that? But also that comes from various. Yeah, oh man, you're breaking up. You're you're better say something else. Yeah, you're you're breaking up. It's terrible. It's I don't know if Doug has to call you back or whatever, but it's breaking up terribly. Yeah, we're just gonna have to to move on. Doug. I really hate that because he was saying some some very uh great things there. But to see if you can get him back if you can't, but when you do that off air, because so I can talk while you're trying to get a hold of them anyway. Hello, Yes, okay, is that better? Go ahead with Yeah, go ahead with what you were saying. Oh, what I was saying had to do with the idea that that there's different streams that have become extra in the body of Christ and ideology and this hypergrace movement which is Calvinism on steroids, and so is the universal idea that has that was linked to leaves nobody of price. Uh, it's beyond just one saved. Always say this has to do with an ideology that says that is going to win, uh save everybody? What and uh it's gospel abusion meaning everybody who salves. How they are lots of biblical concepts, so we've got to make sure those of us stand true biblical ideology as it relates to the death and burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and why certain things had to transpire. Uh. You mentioned him about hell and his soul, get go to Hell, not his spirit. When he died on the cross, he said, by hand, I commit spirit. He gave up the ghost, so his spirit went into the presence God, his his soul went to Hell to lead cap cactives to all the spirit that had said that that we're in. H you know what, We're gonna have to leave it there because the connection is just abysmal. Yeah, the connection is just too bad. We're gonna have to move move about here. Sorry about that, Pastor Smith, but man, the connection, and it's terrible because he has such a great message, and you know, we're going to try to reschedule him and get him back on at a later date. But here's you know, part of what he was saying is how we cannot walk around. That's one of the reasons why, in my opinion, morality has taken a back seat even amongst we the Christians of this great nation, because many people are led astray, in my humble opinion, believing that Okay, I'm saved and I'm in and then they can turn around and do whatever they want to do, whether it's wrong or right, participate in cults, Mason Mason oriented organizations or whatever, and have a good time as long as they say, oh wait a minute, I follow Jesus, and other things. Political leftists support abortion but yet claim Christ. You know, support socialism tearing away rights, but yet claim Christ. And so I just believe that these kinds of fractionalizing activities weakens the overall message to society and it allows others to creep in and point out, well, see how ineffective Christianity is and faith and all of that, and it needs to be replaced by big government, secularism, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. And we allow ourselves, as so called Christians or followers of Christ, to be swept to the side and and knocked out of the mainstream of society. But the good news is that we are being re mainstream back into society because more and more of us are realizing, wait a minute, We're called to be a light in this world, and we cannot afford to put our light, our lights under a bushel and the height it away. Wow, talk about a difference here. A lot of times even I say that there's no difference between Republicans and Democrats, but sometimes there is. And Trump met with Patty Morn at the Oval Office. She also took to the White House Press Secretary podium to tell the establishment media of the brutal rape and murder her daughter, a mother of five, suffered at the hands of an illegal border crosser MS thirteen gangs member in her home of Hartford County, Maryland in twenty twenty three, and she said that she heard no response from any Democrat whatsoever. She received some threatening phone calls for speaking out about this, but she received no response from anyone from the leftist side. Patty Moren told Fox news that they're ignoring it. It's kind of like a little toddler. If I don't look at you, you can't see me. Or if I don't look at that, I didn't do that kind of thing. They are just completely ignoring this atrocity. And see, this is what they do. In my humble opinion, the Democrats and Rhinos are part of a problem. They are the ones who support evil. And there's no other way for me to look at it. I don't want any emails or whatever saying, oh, Ron, you're exaggerating this that no, I'm not. Anytime like this happens and a representative of the United States of America and something like this happens in their jurisdiction and they ignore it. But yet they want to go skipping to another country running after and want to kiss the backside of an MS thirteen gang member wife beater and wants to drag him bring him back to the United States to be released. That guy, in my humble opinion, should be impeached. He should be thrown out of office because he's not representing the interest of the people or of this country whatsoever. As I've said many times in the past, look if you work for a private company, and you have designated job, a designated duty, etc. And you do the opposite, and you basically say the heck with your principles or what you want to do. I'm going to do what I want to do at your expense. Guess what's gonna happen. You're going to You're going to be fired. You're going to be given a free cardboard box, and you can gather your belongings and go home. And so I think there needs to start. We need to have provisions. I don't know, we need a constitutional amendment or something, or a law past whereas if you, as a representative, do not representative represent the best interest of those constituents that elected you, then you need to go. If you're representing or supporting individuals who have brought harm to this country or are a part of a gang or organization that is bringing harm to this country, and that's your preference, then you should go. You should be free to go and support that, but not at our expense. And so that goes for a Governor Newsom of California, he's doing doze over cuts to AmeriCorps volunteer programs, well our tax dollars have been going to AmeriCorps, and guess what a lot of that money, most of that money has been going to waste, not for any good. AmeriCorps used to be good, but it's not any good anymore. So it needs to be cut off. And then the decision will should be made whether to restart it again in a proper manner or not. I say no. A lot of these so called government programs that are meant to or designed to help the poor, I say eliminate them. And the reason why I say that because that wealth should be returned to the taxpayers and to the church. See, it used to be a greater responsibility of the church to take care of the poor, and I think we need to get back to that where a church, the church has more of an interest in society, where they can practice what they are supposed to be preaching. Because one of the things that I've noticed throughout history, at least since I've been alive, used to be famously known that communist nations around the world would go unto these impoverished areas and feed the people, feed them well. At the same time they're indoctrinating them into the communist way or Islamic way and conning them into joining up with them. And then the people who said, well I got something to eat. Now, oh these people care about me. But the church needs to be just as vigilant and showing physically that they care about the people that they may want to just preach to. It's just my opinion. I really do think that the taking care of the poor would be done on a better level via the church. So you see here Trump is threatening to walk away from the Ukraine negotiations in days if Moscow and Kiev are not serious about peace. And by the way, I have thought from day one that the United States of America should not be involved in that conflict. It is a regional conflict at best if we were to leave it alone. Russia was provoked for years at least going back to the Bill Clinton administration, Russia was provoked by NATO with permission of the United States. And I say that because the United States, being the biggest contributor to NATO, never said hey, stop doing that whatever, and we are where we are, And if Zelensky doesn't want real peace, then okay, then we should walk away and allow nature to take its course. Because just the other day, Russia has told Germany that they need to back off or they will consider them to be an act to participant in the war and will not govern themselves accordingly. And so, my friends, as we once again observe good Friday, we need to pray for these nations all over the world. We need to I pray that there will be peace. But if you want peace, you have to be prepared for war. You cannot advocate for peace and not be strong. It's not going to happen. And that goes spiritual as well as natural.
