[00:00:01] You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is The Political Cesspool.
[00:00:12] The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.
[00:00:21] And here to guide you through the murky waters of The Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.
[00:00:30] Ladies and gentlemen, it's going to be a great treat this third hour to introduce a guest who is making her debut appearance on TPC.
[00:00:40] Right now, Christine Lynn is a writer, historian, and geopolitical analyst making, as I just mentioned, her debut appearance.
[00:00:48] She's appeared on numerous talk radio and television programs over the last 30 years, and her articles have been published in magazines and newspapers.
[00:00:57] She's authored four books. As an Orthodox Christian, she's been a vocal opponent of what she considers American and NATO aggression.
[00:01:05] So you're not going to miss her take this hour as Trump prepares his return to the White House.
[00:01:11] Christine, it is great to have you. How are you this evening?
[00:01:14] I am doing very well, James, and I'm very pleased to be with you and your audience.
[00:01:20] You're someone I have admired your courage for expressing truth in this country for many years.
[00:01:27] So I'm very pleased to have this opportunity to share the truth about Russia with your audience.
[00:01:34] Well, God bless you, dear lady. And we'll give your website right now.
[00:01:37] I reciprocally have enjoyed being able to visit it more often over the course of the last few months.
[00:01:44] We have been talking about having you on for some time now, and it's been just such a topsy-turvy year.
[00:01:49] But God's hand guides all, and here you are now right after the election, which might have been the way it was meant to be all along.
[00:01:56] But be sure to check out her website, folks, AmericanOrthodoxChristian.com.
[00:02:03] AmericanOrthodoxChristian.com. We'll talk about that a little bit more as this hour unfolds.
[00:02:08] But let's start with this conversation, the special military operation.
[00:02:14] Why do you call Russia's military action in Ukraine over the course of the last few years the righteous action it had to take?
[00:02:22] Well, because it was, and I look at everything as an Orthodox Christian.
[00:02:27] I look at everything we see, James, in our lives, our personal lives, the political, the geopolitical.
[00:02:35] It's always, it's a part of the great spiritual war between good and evil.
[00:02:39] So when I took a look at what Russia did in February of 2022, as a historian, truth is my highest priority.
[00:02:49] Same as a Christian, truth is my highest priority.
[00:02:51] But I always look to see what is holy, what is righteous.
[00:02:55] And I'm not a pacifist Christian.
[00:02:57] I am a Christian who believes that God has given us weapons along with our faith to defend the innocent.
[00:03:06] And what the Russians have done with this special military operation is self-defense.
[00:03:12] And I believe that to be sanctioned and required by God.
[00:03:15] If any of us allow evil to be perpetrated upon another when we can stop it, then that is a commission of evil.
[00:03:22] And in this case, the special military operation is in defense of the innocent people of the Donbass and the southern regions of Ukraine.
[00:03:31] And the reason I say it was righteous is because these people have been persecuted for eight years up until 2022, ever since 2014.
[00:03:41] And when I say persecuted, I am talking about men, women, and children.
[00:03:46] And actually, most of the deaths we're talking about are severe.
[00:03:51] Many of them are civilian deaths, women and children.
[00:03:54] Ever since the coup occurred, and we will get into, you know, what is all behind this, but ever since 2014, the people of these regions are Russian speakers.
[00:04:04] They're really Russian, but they're a part of Ukraine.
[00:04:07] The Ukrainian government, which was U.S. installed, U.S. backed, did not, let's say after the coup, these people did not accept the coup and this government.
[00:04:20] And they wanted it to be autonomous.
[00:04:22] And instead, what the Ukrainian government did was kill them.
[00:04:27] They murdered them.
[00:04:28] They raped them.
[00:04:29] They had torture rooms.
[00:04:31] The types of atrocities that these people were subjected to over those eight years.
[00:04:38] And throughout the entire eight years, the people of the Donbass were asking for Russia's help to defend themselves.
[00:04:46] And again, the Western installed Ukrainian government is doing this against its own Ukrainian citizens, murdering them.
[00:04:54] Why?
[00:04:54] Because they did not accept the coup.
[00:04:57] Because they wanted autonomy.
[00:04:59] And in addition, this was all part of the U.S. aggression, NATO aggression against Russia.
[00:05:06] They were not about to give it up.
[00:05:08] So instead, at the time of the SMO began, we already had about 10,000 people in these regions had been murdered by the Ukrainian government.
[00:05:20] And so Russia finally decided to get involved and stop it.
[00:05:25] And that is righteous, to stop the murders.
[00:05:29] And they actually had rape rooms, torture rooms.
[00:05:32] The Ukrainians would actually enter into these villages and cities and kidnap women and children and bring them back to such torture places.
[00:05:43] They routinely shelled, bombed the civilians.
[00:05:49] And civilians were targeted.
[00:05:51] This wasn't a war between fighting forces.
[00:05:54] This was a war exacted upon civilians.
[00:05:57] So when I take a look at all of the atrocities that these people suffered for those eight years, and we also know that the U.S. was really building that Ukrainian army.
[00:06:09] At the time in February, intelligence showed that they were about to exact another massacre in Donbass.
[00:06:17] Russia stepped in and put a stop to it.
[00:06:20] And that is why I say that is righteous, because it would have been evil to ignore it and let these people continue to be murdered by the Ukrainian government.
[00:06:31] Christine, that is a very interesting opening statement.
[00:06:35] And I would ask you this.
[00:06:37] Of all of the issues that we have an understandable concern for, why has this been the issue that has driven so much of your primary focus?
[00:06:53] Because I have, for decades, rejected NATO aggression and U.S. hegemony, meaning certainly, of course, I won't what is well for America, but not at the expense of others.
[00:07:07] And when I continued to witness the lying propaganda that the U.S. State Department continues to put out, that this media, and frankly, I see very little distinction between the media in this country and the CIA and the State Department, they do its bidding.
[00:07:25] And I know, as a historian and what I know of Russia completely, the lying propaganda has influenced my brothers and sisters as Americans in this country to succumb to Russophobia and hatred.
[00:07:41] And frankly, I have such a righteous indignation when I hear people, because of their willful ignorance, most Americans are ignorant of this, but they could know better, but they don't.
[00:07:53] But instead of finding out, they repeat exactly what the U.S. government wants them to say.
[00:07:59] And when I see people persecuted and murdered in a nation such as Russia stand up to defend those people, I feel myself, out of my love and respect for the Russian people, I certainly want to be a voice for the truth.
[00:08:16] When would you say that this really began? Was it in February of 2022 or February of 2014 or even before that?
[00:08:24] It was before that, frankly.
[00:08:27] Certainly, you know, in 2022, as I already said, it was a result of the coup, the U.S. coup, essentially, in 2014.
[00:08:38] But it goes much further back than that.
[00:08:41] In fact, what it is, is that the United States' plans against the Soviet Union before and Russia thereafter, since the disillusionment of the Soviet Union, has never changed.
[00:08:55] You can go back into the Freedom of Information Act, take a look at the records.
[00:09:00] You can look at the RAND Corporation.
[00:09:02] The goal has always been a strategic defeat of Russia, and that is evil.
[00:09:07] What for?
[00:09:08] Is Russia threatening anyone?
[00:09:10] No.
[00:09:11] Russia is not the enemy.
[00:09:12] The enemy is the United States' hegemony.
[00:09:16] And it actually goes back to even immediately during and after World War II, the CIA became involved in Ukraine.
[00:09:25] Billions of dollars at that time, not just recent, were spent in Ukraine to develop a hatred of Russians.
[00:09:33] The school books there, paid for by the U.S., would teach children to hate Russians, to delight and sing songs about murdering Russians.
[00:09:47] The children, for example, even in the Donbass, which is the area we're talking about, were indoctrinated, lying propaganda, that the Ukraine was never even a part of the Soviet Union.
[00:09:59] They are shocked when they finally learn the truth when they have been liberated.
[00:10:04] So, no, this goes back for decades because the United States has always wanted that strategic defeat of Russia.
[00:10:11] They thought they had it, frankly.
[00:10:14] They thought they really had it after the fall of the Soviet Union and the CIA operations that were taking place, Ukraine and then Soviet Union and Russia.
[00:10:24] But they didn't.
[00:10:26] They want to steal, as they always do, the natural resources.
[00:10:29] They also want to maintain hegemonic control versus cooperation with other nations.
[00:10:37] Perfect place to pause.
[00:10:39] This is the first of, of course, four segments, a full hour with Christine Lynn.
[00:10:43] You're probably by now wanting to learn a little bit more about her work and her background.
[00:10:47] You can do that at AmericanOrthodoxChristian.com.
[00:10:51] In the next segment, we'll talk about Russian society.
[00:10:55] What is life like in Russia for Russians?
[00:10:59] We'll get her take on that when we come back.
[00:11:01] Stay tuned.
[00:11:01] It is common for politicians, major media outlets, and nonprofits to hype white on black murders aggressively.
[00:11:08] Or even claim that blacks are living in fear of white people.
[00:11:12] Lynn's for simply being black.
[00:11:14] Hard to believe, but that's what was done.
[00:11:16] And some people still want to do that.
[00:11:19] This is why National Conservative launched the Interracial Homicide Tracking Project.
[00:11:24] We have now documented well over 2,000 confirmed interracial homicides since January 2023
[00:11:30] and created the most comprehensive overview of these killings anyone has ever made.
[00:11:35] We plug the gaping holes in data left by other homicide trackers and government crime stats.
[00:11:41] Rather than engaging in hyperbole and vitriolic rhetoric like everyone else,
[00:11:45] we are simply creating a massive sample size of empirical evidence so people can form rational and informed opinions about a sensitive and politically charged issue.
[00:11:55] Visit natcon.life.
[00:11:57] N-A-T-C-O-N dot L-I-F-E.
[00:12:01] Imagine a school where faith and integrity are at its center, where heritage and responsibility instill character,
[00:12:09] where educating both hearts and minds brings about academic excellence.
[00:12:14] There is a school in American Fork where character and embracing the providence of a living God are fundamental,
[00:12:21] where students' national test scores average near the 90th percentile.
[00:12:27] Based on LDS principles and a love of country,
[00:12:31] now in our 39th year,
[00:12:33] American Heritage School is accepting fall enrollment for kindergarten through high school.
[00:12:39] What would you do for your child?
[00:12:41] Give them an education that will prepare them for life.
[00:12:44] Located east of the temple in American Fork,
[00:12:48] American Heritage School is a remarkable and affordable alternative.
[00:12:53] Visit us, find us online, or in the yellow pages.
[00:12:57] American Heritage School in American Fork.
[00:13:11] Back with our final guest of the evening, Christine Lynn.
[00:13:15] And she and I first became personally acquainted a little bit earlier this summer,
[00:13:20] and it seemed as though every time we were going to have her on, something would happen.
[00:13:24] There was an assassination attempt, or the coup, or a trip that came up.
[00:13:30] And anyway, I think it's interesting now that we are finally, and to our credit,
[00:13:36] able to have her on after the election.
[00:13:39] And we're going to get, at the end of this hour,
[00:13:41] to our outlook now on future relations between Russia and the United States,
[00:13:45] now that Donald Trump will apparently be president once more.
[00:13:49] But I want to talk to you now, Christine, about Russian society,
[00:13:52] because this is something that you seem to have a firm handle on,
[00:13:57] that, of course, talk about the Iron Curtain.
[00:14:02] I mean, as Americans, we are not treated to any information at all
[00:14:05] about what life is like there for the average citizen.
[00:14:09] So we'll start right there.
[00:14:10] What is life like for the typical Russian citizen?
[00:14:14] All right.
[00:14:15] Well, I would say unequivocally, the quality of life is far better in Russia.
[00:14:21] And, of course, you can choose if you would like to have an urban life or a rural life.
[00:14:28] But both of them are far superior in our quality of life.
[00:14:33] And I would attribute this, and I'll give you a few details in a moment,
[00:14:38] probably quite amazing to your audience just how well the society is.
[00:14:44] But let's stay in the cities.
[00:14:46] It's a faith-based society.
[00:14:49] Of course, they have a constitution as a secular government.
[00:14:53] But it's a faith-based society, a very spiritual people.
[00:14:58] Christianity there has endured throughout so much persecution.
[00:15:04] And, you know, when I think about the 27 million Soviets, Russians who died in World War II,
[00:15:11] I think it has affected the people.
[00:15:13] So that they are a more serious people when it comes to the memorializing,
[00:15:19] the honor of those who have died for Russia.
[00:15:22] History is extremely important to them.
[00:15:25] You're not going to see any of them taking down statues like the evil that happens in this country.
[00:15:31] No, they honor their heroes, and they always will.
[00:15:35] And I would say that faith, and, of course, the majority of Russians are Orthodox Christian,
[00:15:42] but there are also those of Islam and Buddhists, though just a very small percentage.
[00:15:48] It affects how the society is run and how the government is run.
[00:15:52] So we're looking at a society, James, that you and I could dream of.
[00:15:58] I'm a little bit older than you.
[00:16:00] But when we were children, it's a very wholesome society.
[00:16:03] It's safe.
[00:16:04] I could go out in Moscow, most places in Moscow, and be safe.
[00:16:10] And I was talking to a friend of mine just a few weeks ago.
[00:16:13] I wouldn't do that in any major U.S. city.
[00:16:17] It's safe.
[00:16:19] It's clean.
[00:16:20] It's our values really are evinced in that society.
[00:16:24] I would say the transportation is amazing.
[00:16:28] If any of your audience, and probably most of them, of course, haven't been there,
[00:16:34] I will take the subways, the metro, as an example.
[00:16:37] And this is not just for Moscow.
[00:16:39] It's throughout the entirety of Russia.
[00:16:41] The transportation system is amazing.
[00:16:45] But it's like you're entering a museum.
[00:16:47] That's how beautiful it is.
[00:16:49] The daily life is a very healthy one.
[00:16:52] Walking is encouraged.
[00:16:54] The cities are built to encourage walking.
[00:16:57] Very health.
[00:16:59] I mean, we have gyms free of charge everywhere.
[00:17:03] The educational system is outstanding and really allows for the individual to achieve in sports,
[00:17:12] athletics, or academia free of charge.
[00:17:16] The medical care is also offered to all.
[00:17:19] It really is a society I never thought could exist.
[00:17:25] And, of course, it's as any country and as any city.
[00:17:29] You can have traffic problems.
[00:17:31] You have other problems.
[00:17:32] But it is actually, I would say, a respect and integrity for law and law-abiding.
[00:17:38] You can feel safe and secure.
[00:17:41] Even that which you own when you're out in public.
[00:17:45] It's a very different society.
[00:17:47] Clean, safe.
[00:17:49] A lot of beauty there.
[00:17:51] And I, frankly, love the honor that they give all of their fallen heroes.
[00:17:57] So I would just have to say the quality of life, the food, quite natural.
[00:18:01] You don't have to go pay quite a bit more to get your organic because all of the food.
[00:18:06] It's just the way it should be, James.
[00:18:09] What you're saying is something that a friend of mine has personally witnessed.
[00:18:15] He is a university professor at a major American university.
[00:18:19] And he had his sabbatical year.
[00:18:22] And he went over there for a year, took his entire family.
[00:18:27] And almost word for word, very close to a recitation of what you just said were his takeaways.
[00:18:34] And he would send the pictures.
[00:18:36] And he just said, and I think Tucker Carlson did a video on this as well.
[00:18:40] But he said the subways would be on par with some of our great museums.
[00:18:45] And just the cleanliness and just the standard of living and just the homogeneity and the safety and all of that.
[00:18:51] But, of course, you hear a lot of things in the media here, our controlled media, that the state of freedom,
[00:18:56] the freedom of expression in Russia isn't all that people like us would crack it up to be.
[00:19:02] And, you know, very much runs contrary to what you're saying.
[00:19:06] Tell us the truth, Christine.
[00:19:08] What is the state of freedom and the state of free expression?
[00:19:11] This is, for instance, in Russia compared to the United States.
[00:19:13] That's a big issue for us here.
[00:19:16] It is.
[00:19:17] And that's all part.
[00:19:18] Yes, that's all part of the lying propaganda that they give to Americans.
[00:19:23] Frankly, as a writer that's been my entire life and public speaker, the freedom of expression is extremely important to me.
[00:19:32] And I would have far more of that in Russia than I do in the United States.
[00:19:36] In terms of the usual myths, lies that are told about Russian society, you can turn on, you know, whether it's your radio, whether it's your television, pick up the newspapers, read the websites.
[00:19:52] And both those who, let's say, are pro in terms of, we'll go back to the SMO, for example, in support of the SMO, in support of the government, and in support of the president.
[00:20:06] And you will also find publications, newspapers, and people, though they're a minority.
[00:20:12] That's because most Russians do support the country and the government.
[00:20:17] But you just as much can easily find papers that are allowed.
[00:20:22] There is free expression that are even anti-Putin, anti-SMO.
[00:20:27] There's no lack of freedom of expression if you want to be part of the opposition.
[00:20:32] The only thing that's not allowed in Russia, unlike in the U.S., and to its credit for Russia, they do not give freedom of expression to what I would call the evil liberalism and wokeism that the United States does.
[00:20:47] The reason why it's safe and wholesome is they do not allow, for example, transgender, pedophilia, homosexual propaganda to be distributed.
[00:20:59] They do not allow, for example, such persons to have jobs that directly come into contact with children.
[00:21:07] What you do in your private life, you keep private, but they do not celebrate it like they do.
[00:21:12] So unless it's something promoting violence or sexual perversity, other than that, you have free expression in Russia a lot more than you have in the United States.
[00:21:25] Very interesting.
[00:21:26] Now, let me ask you this.
[00:21:28] Those sanctions, the United States, our controlled government, came down, I guess, as hard as they could at the onset of the SMO, February 22nd.
[00:21:44] Excuse me, February 24th, 2022, and the immediate aftermath of that start date or that particular date and its ongoing progression.
[00:21:54] Let's put it that way.
[00:21:55] The United States government came down very hard with these sanctions.
[00:21:58] So what about these sanctions?
[00:21:59] To what extent have they harmed the Russian economy and the daily life for these people?
[00:22:05] Well, the sanctions have backfired.
[00:22:07] In fact, I think most of the world, and that is a fact.
[00:22:11] Most of the world is laughing at the United States.
[00:22:15] Thousands of sanctions, James.
[00:22:17] And actually, Trump began some of those sanctions during his first four years.
[00:22:24] But since the SMO, there's thousands of sanctions, and all of them have backfired.
[00:22:30] What we have seen in Russia is economic growth, self-sufficiency.
[00:22:37] Yes, there was an adjustment that had to be made.
[00:22:41] But I would remind people that the cooperative group, economic group of the BRICS nations have surpassed the G7 in global GDP.
[00:22:51] The economic growth rate of all of those countries, and again, this is led by Russia, is far exceeding the G7 countries.
[00:23:00] And in terms of how does that show in the daily life for Russians?
[00:23:06] Transportation, low price.
[00:23:07] I mean, we're talking cents, just a few cents, almost literally.
[00:23:12] Taxis almost cost nothing.
[00:23:15] The food is so healthy.
[00:23:18] You go in a grocery store there.
[00:23:20] In fact, some of them are far surpass even some of the largest here in this country, what you see and the quality of it.
[00:23:26] But super low prices, the Internet, for example.
[00:23:30] What I pay for Internet and what the average American pays for Internet, well, at least I can speak for myself, you know, if you're paying, I mean, it depends upon where you're located in the country.
[00:23:41] But you might be paying $90, $100.
[00:23:44] It depends upon what you have set up.
[00:23:46] I can tell you, on average in Russia, high speed now is like around $7 or so a month.
[00:23:53] I have found when I compare the cost of housing there, whether you want to buy a home, whether you want to have an apartment, is incredibly low.
[00:24:04] What is the equivalent in U.S. dollars?
[00:24:07] What you have there is so much more.
[00:24:09] So in your daily life, I would just have to say what you make and what you spend, you have far much values.
[00:24:18] And the sanctions have done nothing but help as Russia has branched out and made connections with other countries with free trade and respect for each other's sovereignty.
[00:24:28] That's where you thrive.
[00:24:31] I think a lot of people, even as informed as they are in this audience, are going to be surprised to hear you say that, surprised to learn everything that you just said.
[00:24:40] And that is good news indeed.
[00:24:44] We're halfway through this interview.
[00:24:45] Our focus will turn with Christine Lynn to Vladimir Putin himself in the next segment.
[00:24:49] Stay tuned.
[00:24:50] Pursuing liberty.
[00:24:52] Using the Constitution as our guide.
[00:24:55] You're listening to Liberty News Radio.
[00:24:59] If your approach to everyday aches and pains is to mask them, you know, feel better for a few hours only to have the pain return and then repeat the cycle all over again, it's time to try Relief Factor.
[00:25:13] And the good news is Relief Factor makes that easy.

[00:26:06] What could possibly go wrong?
[00:26:08] Here's Rich Thomason with that story on what went wrong.
[00:26:12] The Pentagon's inspector general says Navy officials failed to sufficiently grasp the risk of placing
[00:26:17] the storage tanks atop the water well at Pearl Harbor.
[00:26:21] More than 6,000 people were poisoned by a jet fuel leak in 2021.
[00:26:25] The IG says it happened even though the Navy had engineering drawings and environmental
[00:26:31] studies describing the risks.
[00:26:33] The Navy says corrective actions are being taken.
[00:26:36] Rich Thomason reporting.
[00:26:38] General Motors laying off 1,000 workers worldwide, shedding costs as it attempts to compete in a
[00:26:44] crowded global automobile market.
[00:26:46] The workers that are being furloughed are mostly salaried.
[00:26:50] However, sources say some blue-collar workers are more than affected.
[00:26:55] Breaking news and analysis, townhall.com.
[00:27:01] A so-called California nut is becoming very popular.
[00:27:05] Farmers have been devoting more land to pistachios, which are seen as hardier and more drought-tolerant
[00:27:10] than a state prone to dramatic swings in precipitation.
[00:27:14] The nut has surged over the past decade to become California's sixth biggest agricultural
[00:27:19] commodity in value, generating nearly $3 billion last year.
[00:27:23] Industry experts say pistachio orchards can withstand drought better than some other crops and take
[00:27:29] less water per acre than the state's biggest net crop, almonds.
[00:27:33] Much of the crop is headed to China.
[00:27:35] John Scott reporting.
[00:27:36] When Massachusetts voters decided to ditch that state's high school graduation exams, they
[00:27:41] joined a growing trend that has steadily chipped away at the use of high-stakes tests in the
[00:27:46] past two decades or so.
[00:27:48] That vote now leaves just seven states in America with mandated graduation exams.
[00:27:55] More on these stories at townhall.com.

[00:29:00] Marxists are the sworn enemy of Western civilization.
[00:29:03] Karl Marx crafted his communist ideology with the genocidal goal of destroying the European peoples.
[00:29:08] Key concepts of communism are atheism and materialism, that God and spirit do not exist.
[00:29:13] Germany was smashed at the end of World War II, and communism emerged triumphant.
[00:29:17] By controlling the political system, courts, mass media, educational system, and entertainment industries,
[00:29:22] Marxists have imposed a tyrannical, top-down agenda of globalism and immoralization on the West.
[00:29:27] The results are open borders, rampant crime, institutionalized corruption, sexual perversion,
[00:29:32] the destruction of the middle class, concentration of wealth, aimless youth with no purpose in life,
[00:29:37] and the hollowing out of Christianity.
[00:29:38] But Kyle McDermott's book, The Declaration of White Independence,
[00:29:41] demonstrates how we can unshackle our people from the communist ideology and obliterate atheism and materialism.
[00:29:47] The Declaration of White Independence is available at Dixie Republic.

[00:30:10] I think it is very important now.
[00:30:13] It's been such a busy year.
[00:30:15] Of course we have to focus on the election and all of the twists and turns that that campaign took for so many months,
[00:30:22] really this entire year and the last few months of last year,
[00:30:26] and then also covering the election results last week, talking about the transition tonight.
[00:30:33] But you have to return your focus to Russia and foreign policy sooner rather than later
[00:30:39] because it is just such a critical issue, and we're happy to be able to do that now, this hour, finally, with Christine Lynn.
[00:30:48] Be sure to check out her website, americanorthodoxchristian.com.
[00:30:54] Wealth of content there.
[00:30:56] And you'll enjoy it, I think.
[00:30:58] If this is an issue that interests you, and I'm sure that it does, you're going to enjoy that website.
[00:31:02] From a Christian perspective, and as she writes on her website,
[00:31:05] the spiritual war between good and evil has never been more apparent.
[00:31:08] I take my Christian faith seriously and have decided as an individual to explore and share
[00:31:13] the application of my understanding of scriptural faith to matters of personal spiritual growth
[00:31:17] and geopolitics on this website.
[00:31:19] So be sure to check it out at americanorthodoxchristian.com.
[00:31:23] Let's talk about the man himself now, Christine, Vladimir Putin,
[00:31:26] president of the Russian Federation.
[00:31:28] In your opinion, what type of man is he?
[00:31:31] What type of leader?
[00:31:34] Well, as a man to the people, I would have to say,
[00:31:38] unlike the propaganda that most Americans have heard,
[00:31:43] I think, what do they usually call him?
[00:31:45] A brutal dictator.
[00:31:47] Well, that's the opposite is quite true.
[00:31:50] The people of Russia love him because, frankly, he loves the Russian people.
[00:31:56] He saved Russia.
[00:31:58] After the collapse of the Soviet Union, there was so much turmoil.
[00:32:01] There was so much suffering.
[00:32:03] And it was because of his actions, decisive actions there to protect the country,
[00:32:09] to get the economic.
[00:32:10] And, of course, you know, that's his background in terms of university is economics.
[00:32:16] I think he knows more about economics than most of those, quote, experts in the West.
[00:32:21] He sincerely loves the Russian people, and they love him, and they know that that's true.
[00:32:27] I consider the man to be a righteous man.
[00:32:30] And the reason I say that is he is a man of the Orthodox Christian faith, Russian Orthodox,
[00:32:36] as I am.
[00:32:37] And for your listeners, many may not be familiar with Orthodoxy,
[00:32:41] but I'll just quickly share that Orthodoxy is the first Christian church in history.
[00:32:49] It is the church that was founded by Jesus and carried on by the apostles.
[00:32:55] All of the other Christian churches, beginning with the Catholics who broke away from us,
[00:33:01] and then the Protestants broke away from them, are all branches separated from the original church.
[00:33:08] So, Orthodoxy.
[00:33:10] And, yes, as an American, I have quite a skepticism about any political leader or politician
[00:33:18] who claims a Christian faith.
[00:33:20] I've seen what they are in this country.
[00:33:23] I've seen all the hypocrisy.
[00:33:25] But in Vladimir Putin, we have a man of faith.
[00:33:29] And I say that because not only the way that he is as a leader, but a very compassionate man.
[00:33:36] But even if you go across the country and visit some of the remote monasteries and speak with the monks,
[00:33:44] this man, completely away from the media, does not permit that, goes on pilgrimages.
[00:33:51] His faith has become increasingly important to him and is evinced in the way that he is as a leader.
[00:33:57] And as a leader, he is respected by the majority of the world.
[00:34:02] The collective West and its vassals are the minority now.
[00:34:06] So I would say, and I would just share a few personal anecdotes about him.
[00:34:11] He's really a fine example for the Russian people.
[00:34:14] He likes to emphasize their health.
[00:34:16] He's very athletic.
[00:34:20] I would say he's brilliant, in fact.
[00:34:22] And for your listeners, they can do a little bit of keyboard research.
[00:34:27] I don't know why more Americans do not.
[00:34:30] Take a look at what this man can do for four hours straight every year at the Valdai Club.
[00:34:36] That's V-A-L-D-A-I.
[00:34:39] If you can actually find the full four hours, it's readily available if you look for it.
[00:34:45] You will find a man who can take questions from worldwide media.
[00:34:51] And his brilliance is shown in his historical knowledge, his ability to speak about the country,
[00:34:57] no matter what aspect, whether it's the economy, whether it's the resources, the education, the development.
[00:35:05] So I'd say that intelligence is really a genius.
[00:35:10] I consider this man to be a good man and what a leader should be.
[00:35:14] He's a real, real leader.
[00:35:16] And the West could learn a lot from him.
[00:35:18] And you take a look at it.
[00:35:19] It's also evinced, you know, in Russian diplomacy.
[00:35:22] We don't have diplomacy over here.
[00:35:24] We have bullying.
[00:35:25] And that leadership comes from Putin.
[00:35:28] So I would say he's loved by his people, loved by the vast majority in the world because he loves them.
[00:35:36] All right.
[00:35:37] That leads me to another question.
[00:35:39] What is his attitude towards the West?
[00:35:42] Because I think we understand what the attitude of the United States is toward him on the level of our federal government,
[00:35:51] not necessarily the people.
[00:35:52] Most people don't have an opinion on most things.
[00:35:55] But, of course, it's amazing to me, why would you not want to have good and healthy relations with another world superpower?
[00:36:04] And why is it akin to being some sort of a traitor if you can articulate attributes of another world leader?
[00:36:12] If you pay Putin any credit at all, you've done some sort of disservice to this country.
[00:36:18] It doesn't make any sense at all, but that is, of course, how they've framed this for years now.
[00:36:26] But what is his attitude toward the West?
[00:36:27] Not our leadership necessarily, but toward the West in general.
[00:36:32] Well, over the years, Putin has expressed an appreciation for the ingenuity and the creativity of Americans.
[00:36:41] He, of course, differs from, let's say, the radical liberal and the evil values that the country is now embracing.
[00:36:51] But he, I think, has always expressed an appreciation.
[00:36:54] You go back over the years.
[00:36:55] And I would also say what is very sad is he has admitted himself that when he first became president,
[00:37:02] his attitude toward the West was one of genuine cooperation.
[00:37:07] We're going to put the Cold War behind us.
[00:37:10] If you go back and listen to numerous speeches with the international audience, whether that was in Germany and elsewhere,
[00:37:19] he was always expressing we can put the Cold War, and he was open to the West.
[00:37:25] He wanted to go beyond the Cold War mentality.
[00:37:28] And this was repeatedly expressed not only in his words, but in his deeds.
[00:37:33] He saw no reason why we couldn't have trust among Europe and globally and the West.
[00:37:39] But what would happen was, and he said himself, he was naive when he looks back, is there was no reciprocity there.
[00:37:48] Instead, he continued to get lies and acceptance saying, obviously, they wouldn't be outright lying.
[00:37:55] But, of course, they would as NATO expansion happened, as missiles were put into the Warsaw Pact countries.
[00:38:02] And I remember at one time near the beginning of his presidency, he had once said, I think he was on, it may have been a BBC interview or something like that.
[00:38:10] He said he cannot even envision NATO as an enemy.
[00:38:14] But by 2007, well, that had changed.
[00:38:18] There's a famous Munich speech in which he set out why we cannot cooperate, and it is because of the United States.
[00:38:25] I always remember that evil John McCain in the audience.
[00:38:29] Finally, they knew they were not going to get away with their plans against Russia, and he put a stop to it.
[00:38:35] So I would say that his attitude now toward the West is one of having to protect Russia.
[00:38:41] And he does that in a very patient manner, I must say.
[00:38:45] That is one of his attributes, just as we see in the SMO.
[00:38:49] They don't behave like the U.S. does.
[00:38:52] So I would say now he has weathered the storm of seeing what the United States actually is and the lies that were given to him at the Minsk agreements.
[00:39:02] So he has no illusions anymore.
[00:39:04] But he's still open to talk, and that's what makes it so remarkable.
[00:39:09] This is a true leader.
[00:39:12] We have just seconds remaining of this segment, and I just got to say what informed and well-articulated takes this lady has.
[00:39:23] AmericanOrthodoxChristian.com is the website.
[00:39:25] Keith, you and Christine were talking during the break, and if we can't get to the answer before the music starts, we'll carry it over to the next segment.
[00:39:31] Okay, Christine, how diverse are Russian cities like Moscow and St. Petersburg compared to American cities?
[00:39:39] Well, okay.
[00:39:41] Diversity, speaking in terms of the ethnic diversity, we're talking about a country.
[00:39:47] It's the largest country in the world.
[00:39:49] It's about 149 million in population.
[00:39:52] The vast majority of that are ethnic Russians.
[00:39:54] I remember some of those mercenaries, stupid mercenaries, being paid to come and kill Russians in the Ukrainian war.
[00:40:04] Some of their interviews, they were shocked to say, what?
[00:40:07] We're here to kill white people.
[00:40:09] They didn't even know that ethnic Russians, what they even looked like.
[00:40:13] So the vast majority of the population are ethnic Russians.
[00:40:17] But, again, we have so many different ethnicities.
[00:40:22] So the vast majority are ethnic Russians.
[00:40:26] We have, I think it's like over 100, I believe, different ethnicities, but they are tiny percentages.
[00:40:34] Remember, the Soviet Union was immense.
[00:40:37] And they also focus upon your individuality.
[00:40:41] They're not a melting pot like what they've done over here, which is a disaster.
[00:40:46] Hold on right there, my friends.
[00:40:48] One more segment in what I hope will be the first of more appearances to come from Christine Lynn.
[00:40:55] Very, very intelligent lady.
[00:40:58] One more segment.
[00:40:58] We're going to talk about the future between the United States and Russia.
[00:41:01] Stay tuned.

[00:42:33] how he came to realize while working as a beat cop how wrong the all-too-common orientation of police officers is
[00:42:39] when they think of their job as being to write tickets and arrest people.

[00:43:11] Conversation in the commercial breaks always as good as what you hear on the air with all of our guests,
[00:43:16] and that's no exception now with Christine Lynn.
[00:43:19] Since this is her first appearance, we're going to give that website again, AmericanOrthodoxChristian.com,
[00:43:25] as we return our focus to Russia, to Putin, to our foreign policy and our relations with this world superpower,
[00:43:34] who should be and is in so many ways such a natural ally of the United States, or at least should be.
[00:43:40] They are and could be.
[00:43:41] And that raises the question of, since we wouldn't naturally be allies, you would assume,
[00:43:47] who in America or who in the American government is driving this anti-Russian animus that you've documented so well in this interview?
[00:43:58] It is both the Democrats and the Republicans.
[00:44:01] That is the one thing that you see no difference between the two major political parties.
[00:44:08] American hegemony has always fueled American politics and international policy,
[00:44:14] and that's the one thing they may go look at each other and act like they have a few differences,
[00:44:20] but we would not see 800 to 1,000 military bases worldwide.
[00:44:28] We have no reason.
[00:44:29] That has nothing to do with the defense of the United States.
[00:44:32] It's about American hegemony.
[00:44:34] It means the exploitation.
[00:44:36] It means the bullying.
[00:44:37] It means the coercion.
[00:44:39] Even in the United Nations, the United States uses its bullying of other countries to influence their vote or to get them to abstain.
[00:44:48] So it's not a matter of Republicans or Democrats.
[00:44:51] This is one thing that we have decades of agreement upon is aggression against the world instead of cooperation,
[00:44:59] instead of respect for the sovereignty of other nations.
[00:45:02] I remember President Trump gave a beautiful speech at the United Nations,
[00:45:06] and in it he really focused upon that.
[00:45:09] When you talk about America first, but he said we should have respect for other countries to also put their country first,
[00:45:15] but not at the expense of others, if only he had lived up to those words,
[00:45:20] if only he would live up to those words because he has another opportunity to do so.
[00:45:25] But, no, there's no difference.
[00:45:27] It's the one thing Democrats and Republicans agree upon.
[00:45:31] It's use our force, our military force, instead of saying we're blessed with what we have,
[00:45:37] and now let's just cooperate and have free trade.
[00:45:40] That's not the American way.
[00:45:42] The American way is to use their military might to control.
[00:45:45] We shouldn't be all over the world.
[00:45:47] We should be focused on the United States, not controlling other nations and stealing their resources.
[00:45:53] What about Jewish power and influence in the American government?
[00:45:56] Do you think that plays any role?
[00:45:58] I absolutely do, and that's why I, sadly, to see what Trump is appointing to his administration now,
[00:46:07] so many Zionists, and anybody that can condone and validate what who I call a human demon that Netanyahu is doing,
[00:46:19] and that is what Trump is doing.
[00:46:21] He's putting people in there that are Zionist,
[00:46:24] and they're putting the Zionist state above the best interest of Americans.
[00:46:30] And, yes, I see that as much control in the United States.
[00:46:34] Money talks, that's what the United States, sadly, what many Americans value is money,
[00:46:40] and that is reflected in our government.
[00:46:42] And, yes, I think that the, and I do not call them, you know, Israel.
[00:46:47] It's not the Israel of the Bible by any means.
[00:46:50] These Zionists have never been God's chosen people.
[00:46:53] And, yes, they have much control over here,
[00:46:55] and that's, you know, getting to Trump's administration right now.
[00:46:59] We're taking a look at he's putting Hegseth in as Secretary of Defense.
[00:47:03] We're talking about Zionism, anti-Iran, more of the warmongers in there.
[00:47:09] Rubio, really, not too much of a difference than a few of the other evil ones like John Bolton and Lindsey Graham.
[00:47:18] To me, Rubio reminds me maybe a little bit less so.
[00:47:23] He's shaking things up, and that's a good thing.
[00:47:26] We do see some, what, you know, subjectively to my values, a few good picks.
[00:47:32] But he's putting so many of the Zionists in, and he himself has said that he is going to stand with this, quote, Israel.
[00:47:38] I don't consider it Israel.
[00:47:41] I agree with you on all of that.
[00:47:43] I, you know, I was, there are some things to like about some of these people outside of that issue.
[00:47:48] We covered that during the first hour.
[00:47:49] I mean, Hexeth, for instance, okay.
[00:47:50] Yes, I mean, they all are subservient to Jewish power and influence,
[00:47:56] and they're all going to be Zionist in terms of their foreign policy,
[00:47:59] at least as far as Israel is concerned, or what the state that calls itself Israel.
[00:48:03] Let's put it that way.
[00:48:04] But, you know, Hexeth on the DEI and women in combat, there are some good things there.
[00:48:08] I want to ask you this, though.
[00:48:09] Right.
[00:48:09] Because you mentioned it.
[00:48:10] And Trump himself has said again now that the focus will be to stop the war, but not take back any of the Russian occupied,
[00:48:21] not occupied, but the territory that Russia has gained or regained.
[00:48:26] And we'll see if he can deliver on that.
[00:48:29] You know, and as far as the Republicans go, they certainly never saw any sort of spinning for Israel they didn't like,
[00:48:35] but they did tie the purse strings a little bit with regard to Ukraine funding.
[00:48:40] Will that continue now that they have the majority?
[00:48:43] Though we'll see.
[00:48:44] So this is the question.
[00:48:45] How do you think this time around President Trump will affect the relations and situation with Russia?
[00:48:56] Certainly more favorable.
[00:48:59] There's no comparison, of course, between Trump and Harris.
[00:49:03] That's a joke.
[00:49:04] So we certainly have hope.
[00:49:06] He certainly has a good mind.
[00:49:08] Now it's a matter of him looking at his heart.
[00:49:10] And when he talks about he's going to work hard to stop the Ukraine-Russia conflict, he doesn't have to really work hard.
[00:49:16] All the United States needs to do is to stop sending weapons, intelligence, money, and personnel, and it's over.
[00:49:25] I suspect, however, and again, he's far better than the alternative.
[00:49:31] We don't need to go back to that again.
[00:49:34] So I think that we have more hope for that.
[00:49:37] And I think that we will see an end to it.
[00:49:40] And this I can say, since the day one of the SMO to now, I know that Russia will achieve its goal of demilitarizing Ukraine and stopping the NATO expansion there.
[00:49:53] It's not going to be an anti-Russian enclave.
[00:49:55] And they're going to protect all of the people of Donbass and Russia.
[00:49:59] And Trump can be a part of that by simply ending.
[00:50:02] There's no negotiation as needed.
[00:50:04] Stop the evil of the United States funding the evil Ukrainian regime, which is responsible for so many atrocities in Russia.
[00:50:14] Which is, of course, different.
[00:50:15] And we have to make this distinction just as we like the distinction to be made between people like us and the American government.
[00:50:22] The difference between Zelensky and, you know, a lot of average Ukrainians, of course.
[00:50:25] But, Christine, this has been a riveting interview.
[00:50:29] And we would love to have you back.
[00:50:31] Give us one minute on why folks should check out your website and what they'll find there.
[00:50:37] Well, certainly.
[00:50:37] Thank you, James.
[00:50:38] It has been a pleasure to be with you tonight.
[00:50:40] My website, as James has shared multiple times, is AmericanOrthodoxChristian.com.
[00:50:47] And on it, you will find my essays that are written from the geopolitical combined with the spiritual perspective.
[00:50:55] And I invite anyone to sign up.
[00:50:58] There's a free subscription when a new essay appears.
[00:51:01] And you can keep up with that.
[00:51:03] And I would ask your audience, don't repeat what you hear.
[00:51:07] You know about fake news.
[00:51:09] You know about all that on so many of the issues that matter to us.
[00:51:12] Don't believe them on matters pertaining to Russia or the Middle East because they're invested in a greed that is their agenda.
[00:51:23] And good American people with wholesome traditional family values differ with that.
[00:51:28] So don't be a part of spreading that lying propaganda.
[00:51:32] That's what I would like to leave with your audience.
[00:51:35] Fine, proper, intelligent, articulate woman.
[00:51:38] And we're thankful to have her on our side.
[00:51:41] Christine, it has been such a pleasure to spend this hour with you and to get to know you better
[00:51:46] and to exchange the emails as we have done over the past few months.
[00:51:51] I am glad that we were able to do this.
[00:51:53] And I do hope to do it again soon.
[00:51:56] AmericanOrthodoxChristian.com.
[00:51:57] Thank you, Christine.
[00:51:58] For being with us tonight.
[00:52:00] Thank you.
[00:52:01] God bless you.
[00:52:02] God bless you.
[00:52:03] And talking about proper and fine ladies, we've had another one in here with us for the full three hours tonight.
[00:52:10] Not as vocal as she normally is when she's on the show, but this was a special occasion indeed in for a visit.
[00:52:17] And, Courtney, it's been great to have you with us in the studio tonight.
[00:52:20] And to have you on to the extent you were in the first hour.
[00:52:24] And you've got a lot of stuff cooked up already for the coming months and years.
[00:52:29] Do you not?
[00:52:29] Yep.
[00:52:30] I'm already planning, like, months and months in advance for these next shows coming up that I'm typically on.
[00:52:37] We've got Christmas coming up.
[00:52:38] We've got Valentine's Day after that.
[00:52:41] That's always a big one with the ladies' night.
[00:52:43] Courtney always features.
[00:52:44] Confederate History Month.
[00:52:45] She's with us.
[00:52:48] No way.
[00:52:49] She's with us around the year.
[00:52:51] And it's always great to spend time with you, Courtney.
[00:52:53] I mean, obviously, a special weekend with you being in town and bringing your kids and our families, you know, all hanging out and sharing that time together.
[00:53:02] But I certainly wanted to give you the final word tonight on the whole thing.
[00:53:05] But for no other reason just to acknowledge you being here and your friendship and, you know, the special relationship you've shared with the program for so long.
[00:53:13] Thank you.
[00:53:14] I appreciate that.
[00:53:16] It was a neat.
[00:53:18] I thought it was a neat mixture of topics tonight.
[00:53:23] Two great guests.
[00:53:25] And, yeah, I liked how you put it all together for this show tonight.
[00:53:33] Just, you know, just different interesting topics coming together.
[00:53:38] Well, thank you for that.
[00:53:39] And I hope that you will drive safe back down to Alabama tomorrow.
[00:53:43] It was a fast and furious trip.
[00:53:45] I tell you what, there's been one thing we haven't done this weekend, and that's sleep.
[00:53:51] Yeah.
[00:53:54] Yeah.
[00:53:54] Yeah.
[00:53:56] But anyway, Courtney, it's always great to see you, and I wanted to be sure to give you that acknowledgement at the very end of the show.
[00:54:01] Thank you.
[00:54:01] We love you.
[00:54:01] And we look forward to having you back on the program next time in a more proper and official way, and certainly a longer appearance.
[00:54:10] But for Keith Alexander, for Courtney from Alabama, for our guests, Ethan Ralph and Christine Lynn, were they not great?
[00:54:16] The Kill Stream at AmericanOrthodoxChristian.com.
[00:54:20] I am James Edwards.
[00:54:22] Almost two weeks into the transition from Biden back to Trump again, relatively speaking, relative being the key word.
[00:54:32] We're moving in a direction that we can find some things to be excited about.
[00:54:39] We hope that that continues and certainly pans out.
[00:54:41] Nothing's happened yet.
[00:54:43] Good night, everybody.
[00:54:43] God bless you.
[00:54:44] We'll be back next week.
