Radio Show Hour 2 – 2026/11/07

Former government contractor and Middle East expert Padraig Martin further discusses the Election Day fallout before offering his informed opinion on what may be coming for Iran now that Trump has nothing left to lose.

[00:00:01] You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is The Political Cesspool. The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program. And here to guide you through the murky waters of The Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.

[00:00:28] Well, as I said, folks, just in the closing of that opening hour tonight, last week we had the top five most interviewed guests all time on TPC, and let's name them off, Jared Taylor, Sam Dickson, Kevin McDonald, Mark Weber, and David Duke last week in celebration of TPC's 22nd anniversary. Thank you, gentlemen, again for that. Tonight, the top two most interviewed guests of 2026. Great friends both.

[00:00:57] Lou Moore in our first hour now. Back to Patrick Martin this hour. We're going to continue for at least another segment or two, post-election analysis and discussion, and then we're going to talk with Patrick about one of his areas of expertise, Iran, specifically what may now be coming for Iran that Trump has nothing left to lose, but will first say hello. Patrick, as I told you during Q in the last break, we have to be here every Saturday night. You don't.

[00:01:27] So for you to take so many hours out of your Saturday evenings to join our audience is just such a tremendous blessing. Great to have both you and Lou back tonight. Well, first of all, James, thank you very much for the invitation. I just want to say I appreciate this because we're now in the – my wife, my very southern Georgia wife, who takes Christmas about as seriously as the Super Bowl and Thanksgiving.

[00:01:54] So every Saturday night, I have a to-do list that starts out on Friday night and ends sometime around Monday morning. So I am very happy to be on the show and get a one-hour reprieve for the next – please invite me as many times as you like. Well, you know, as a married man, Patrick, I've also got to thank your wife because this is something that Saturday night is very precious for family men,

[00:02:23] and I will thank her as well and much – well-deserved appreciation to her as well. Wonderful lady who we've had the chance to meet, of course, as you know, and break bread with. And look forward to doing that again. Always great to talk to you. Even better to see you. But let's get down into this. Well, where do you even want to start? I will just – and I had a series of specific questions for Lou,

[00:02:50] but when you're looking at what happened on Tuesday, where should we begin in your analysis of the aftermath? I think this all really begins in Butler, Pennsylvania. And this is where I think Trump's narcissism, his hubris, really took him down a path with regard to the Iran war that was just uncontrollable. Well, it was controllable for anybody other than Trump.

[00:03:17] And as a result, we get to where we are on Tuesday. And DeSantis described it as an extinction-level event, and that's probably pretty accurate. One of the biggest problems that Vance had pointed out was that Trump's voters showed up. They just happened to vote for Democrats.

[00:03:40] And in 2024, you see it, and you look at the numbers that came out in support of Trump were a fairly broad coalition, but it was a very masculine coalition. It was – you had about 30 percent of the black male vote. Now, obviously, he's never going to break 5 percent of female blacks, but 30 percent of the black male vote, almost 60 percent of the Hispanic male vote. Obviously, the white male vote was there for him. It was somewhere close to around 75 percent.

[00:04:07] And then he also had suburban white women, somewhere around 55 percent. So he had this incredible coalition. And largely, as you can see it, it seems that that coalition was built upon the idea that nobody was satisfied with what had gone on under the Biden administration, and rightfully so, it was a complete disaster as an administration. But, of course, the Republican Party is incredibly good at tossing away victories.

[00:04:35] And during the course of the time, when you look at what he had coming in, all he had to do was not go to war. I mean, if you think about it, had he not gone to war, the fuel prices would have continued to drop. They were, at one point in time, in certain Midwestern states, somewhere close to around that – I think there were under $3 a gallon. There was somewhere around $2.75 or something like that a gallon going into that war, the unnecessary war.

[00:05:01] It was a – you know, he had a humming economy at this point. It looked like interest rates were about to drop, which would have helped the job market because you would have a housing boom. You would have had a number of options available to you. You would not have a bond liquidity issue that just literally took out $100 billion out of the American treasury, out of the gate. You would not have a petrodollar threat. You would have all these issues that have now compounded as a result of this war that was started on the eve of Purim,

[00:05:30] the Jewish holiday that celebrates the defeat of the Persians by the Jewish people. And so this is – this all starts, in my opinion, in Butler, Pennsylvania when he nearly dies. I know a lot of folks think it might have been a – it might have been a false flag event or something of that nature. I think Trump is a little bit too narcissistic to take an Annie Oakley-type trick shot event to boost his numbers. I just don't see him taking that kind of risk with his own life.

[00:05:58] But that said, I think there are a lot of people around him that said, well, God preserved you for a special purpose, and that special purpose was to go to war with Iran. And it does appear that he is surrounded by a lot of advisors who really do believe in a deep dispensationalist idea that the return of Jesus Christ will be facilitated by the construction of the next temple and that there will be a broad-scale war in the region.

[00:06:23] And so he had folks in his ear – Pete Hegseth, notably, of course, the Secretary of War, was talking to him about this, telling him that this is his belief. Dana White – I forget her name exactly. She's an evangelical pastor, supposedly, who has run six churches into the ground and around the Tampa area. A real grifter is Trump's religious advisor. He speaks with her every single day, apparently. I can't remember – Dana something.

[00:06:54] And she herself believes that the facilitation of the third temple will bring back the return of Jesus Christ and that the Jewish people must be venerated. And so he has this entire sort of ecosystem around him telling him that God saved you for a purpose. The Jewish people are God's chosen people. And you need to be the one – if you're the one who actually facilitates the construction of the third temple

[00:07:21] because of your actions, you will be blessed eternally. And, I mean, for somebody like Trump, whose narcissism is legendary, that really probably motivated him more than anything else. And, of course, Bibi Netanyahu, who never misses a beat to find a war that he likes, probably took advantage of this, right? So he understands that this is Trump's narcissism. It's pushing his direction. He had just had a very successful special operations op that had occurred with Venezuela just shortly.

[00:07:50] And I knew that we were about to go to war with Iran when Bibi Netanyahu visited Trump three days after the Venezuelan operation happened. But I knew it was coming. And you and I talked about this earlier in the year is that it was my belief, in fact, I was on another show in 2024 when the election happened and when Trump was won. I knew he was going to go to war with Iran. I said it on that show. You and I, again, have discussed this ad nauseum this year. The bottom line is he had this entire group that was coming at him.

[00:08:18] And with all of that being said, the other problem that Trump has is that many of his Foreign Service advisors, and I blame the intelligence apparatus for this. This really was kind of set back in 2015. So many bad actors tried to undermine Trump when he came in the first term. And I really felt, I felt for him. I voted for Trump the first time around. I did not vote for him the second time around because I felt he was too weak with Antifa. But the first time around, I really voted for him. I was very big supporter of Trump. What about the third time?

[00:08:48] The third time, I did not vote for him. I didn't trust him. I didn't trust him. I mean, I knew Kamala was a mess. But I also just didn't vote for him the second or third time. I just thought he was going to bring us to war. And he did. And, you know, the thing about it is that Trump back then, when the intelligence community was undermining him and working to just take him out on every level, this time around when he gets back into office, he does not trust his intelligence community, even though he put in, at that time,

[00:09:17] ODNI Tulsi Gabbard, who actually was, you know, folks were blasting her. She was actually pretty good. As far as an intel analyst is concerned, she's intelligent. She has a good thumb on the pulse of the intelligence community writ large. And she herself had advised that there was no nuclear program in Iran. But, again, when you have so many folks lying to him and trying to cut out his knees, essentially, in the first term,

[00:09:45] it's understandable that Trump did not trust his own intelligence at rest. All 18 agencies for the first time in American history agreed on one thing. There was no nuclear program in Iran. It didn't exist. And, largely, the reason why it did not exist is because we had primarily starved them from cash, number one. They didn't have the money for it. It takes an enormous amount of money. They also didn't have the physical infrastructure to support the creation of a weapons program and maintain it. And that was a big problem for the Iranians.

[00:10:14] Not that the Iranians wouldn't want to have a nuke. They absolutely would love to have a nuke. But they just simply couldn't afford it, and they couldn't make it, and they couldn't build it. And every time they did, operations were frustrated. So you had this confluence of issues that occurred here. The first term where he's undermined, so he doesn't trust his own intelligence agencies. He only trusts one intelligence agency. It appears to the Israelis. He has an echo chamber that's telling him that he is chosen by God to create this war that will facilitate the Third Temple, that will bring back Jesus Christ.

[00:10:41] Therefore, he will be venerated as an individual to do that. So the Butler event occurs. And then on top of it, too, I think there's a certain level of hubris in that, well, we can do anything we want as Republicans because the Democrats were in such bad shape coming out of 2024. Nobody wanted to have their kids transgenderized. Nobody wanted to have the White House lit up in rainbow colors and all this other stupid stuff.

[00:11:07] And the Democrats had gone so wildly off to the far left that the assumption by many of the Republicans was that they were never going to be voted out. Cindy Hyde-Smith, the now former, soon-to-be former Mississippi senator, famously said in an interview, when somebody asked her, what are you going to do about beef prices? She told Mississippi voters, go find yourself a new protein. So, I mean, when you tell that to folks, that's a level of hubris that is outright astonishing.

[00:11:37] And that kind of infected the entirety of the Republican Party. They could kind of do whatever they wanted to do. And Trump could do whatever they wanted to do because he was blessed by God. And so you get to Tuesday, and now he's wiped out. And he's going to be wiped out. Not only was he wiped out, but here's the biggest problem for the Republicans in general. None of those young voters or those coalition members who gave the Republicans a shot in 2024, who would not traditionally give them a shot, like those 30% black male voters

[00:12:06] or those Hispanics in large numbers, are ever going to give the Republican Party a chance again. They're never going to believe a Republican comes in and says, I will not create a new war. I won't go to the foreign wars. I won't do this. I won't do that. I'm for your side. I'm a working class guy. I'm going to support you. Not one of them has ever given him a shot again. And so I don't realize, I think when DeSantis says this is an existential type event, this is an obliteration, I agree with him. I think it's over.

[00:12:34] I think the Republican Party, as we know, is pretty much so done. So with regard to DeSantis, I did like what I've heard from him since Tuesday. Do you make anything, is there anything more to that than rhetoric? Is there anything there where you're attaching, you know, a grain of, you know, you're going to plant any seeds in that field? I do. So I think the, so DeSantis and Trump hate each other.

[00:13:03] They've hated each other for a few years now. And, and this really was, this kind of comes out of DeSantis's monumental 2022. Now, no, no governor in the country has run his state like DeSantis has. I mean, yeah, his conservative, the conservative victories that he brought to the table are enormous. I mean, a lot of folks don't understand how much he did. I mean, he's the only governor who has restructured his state both twice in order to

[00:13:31] make sure that they've gotten more congressional seats. In fact, the Republicans would not have had a majority in the preceding Congress, the Congress that's now about to be retired, had it not been for DeSantis's realignment of the state of Florida only a few years earlier. So there's that. There's also the fact that, you know, he's got all these different six, six week abortion limit. You have, he has killed, he's put more people in death row, has actually executed more people in death row than any other state.

[00:14:00] You have the right to run over Antifa members in the street. So if you've got some Antifa BLM folks that are thrown around, he has strengthened the stand your ground laws. So if you, somebody threatens you, you can shoot them. If they threaten another person's house, you can use your weapon to stop that individual as well. There's a lot of laws that were put in place that were really strong. The problem for DeSantis is, DeSantis is somewhat of a political neophyte. He's not very good in retail politics. He doesn't really play well. And his challenge really is, as a guy,

[00:14:29] is that he signed this bill in Israel that will forever follow him. That just got brought up by Rich Hamblin. Rich Hamblin is texting me in real time saying, don't forget to mention that DeSantis signs laws in Israel. Yeah. And you know, what's crazy about that, so the backstory on that, and I happen to know quite a bit of, I know a few folks who were involved in this whole, that whole shenanigans. It was a, there was a group run by a gentleman named Handsome Mike. I forget the, the Goyan network or something like that. Anyway, they were,

[00:14:59] they were putting pictures of Swatskas and stuff like that. And really just trolling on top of buildings like the Aetna building and what have you in Jacksonville. And so Mike Caruso, who's now by the way, in jail awaiting a trial for molesting his grandson, was a representative in Florida. And he had a heavily Jewish district. And he decided that he needed to do something about this because his constituents were complaining. So he goes up to the legislature and says, we need to have an antisemitism bill. This is ridiculous. How dare we have this happen?

[00:15:28] And so Randy Fine at the time, the state Senator agrees, of course, Randy Fine, the infamously Israel first, now Congressman from Florida six, but at the time he was a state Senator and he, the two of them combined for this to get this bill going, the antisemitism bill. Now, the interesting thing here is that that antisemitism bill gets to the house and there's a lot of, it originally was, you cannot criticize anything that involves Judaism period in history. That's the way it was written. If you say anything negative,

[00:15:57] you're going to prison. And there was a bunch of, you know, black pastors and religious folks who serve in their Florida legislature as Republicans, by the way, who said, whoa, whoa, wait a second. You mean, I can't tell them about Jesus Christ. Well, ultimately the bill goes through things and gets watered down, watered down, watered down. And it becomes a, a religious freedom bill. So essentially what it says is you can't go onto somebody else's property and tell them you don't like their religion.

[00:16:26] That's essentially what it is. You can't, you can't do that. So by the time it gets through committees and so forth, well, anyway, DeSantis flies away from Florida and this is where it gets really interesting. DeSantis flies away from Florida. The bill had not yet passed. In fact, it was still in Senate committee when he left on a six country business development tour that was there supposedly to raise awareness for Florida's great economy, but it was really just part of his overall presidential hopes. He was in South Korea at the time.

[00:16:56] He's flying from South Korea. Israel is a fourth step, fourth stop in this trip. Well, while he's in South Korea, the bill passes and Randy Fine and Mike Russo immediately hop on a plane and get out to get to Tel Aviv. And they work it out with the Netanyahu government to set up a table and have a big press event so that when DeSantis would land, he would sign his antecedent. This was not part of DeSantis' original plan. Again, he left before the bill was even passed. He arrives into Israel. Now, apparently something happened in the back room.

[00:17:26] We don't know what it was, but he does sign the bill. Now, again, understanding that he walks out, there's Israeli presses everywhere. He's running for president. There's a so-called anti-Semitism bill from the sign. Him not signing it would have been pretty much so political suicide in the South, especially evangelical South, that is. So he goes in and signs this bill. whatever happened behind closed doors, Randy Fine immediately drops his endorsement of DeSantis, calling him a closet Nazi, and embraces Donald Trump. Listen,

[00:17:56] this is very interesting background. This is very interesting background. I didn't know, so I'm assuming a lot of people didn't know too. Yeah, no, no. And so, it was so bad that when this, another group, I think it was saying, maybe the same group at Goyam Network, whatever they're called, they wind up protesting, saying DeSantis is a Nazi. Well, he was, they arrest a few of these fellas for trespassing and doing things of that nature, and the gentleman who, Augustus,

[00:18:25] Invictus Augustus, who is a great attorney, he's put his, he's put it, and I know him very, I know him well, went to his wedding, I think he's a great guy. He represented these folks in court, and Attorney General Uthmeyer went after him like a hawk, went after Augustus, in fact, getting his license pulled, unfortunately, in the state of Florida, mostly because a lot of folks thought that these guys were working with Randy Fine, Susan Wiles,

[00:18:54] who previously worked for Jeb Bush, she worked for Jeb Bush, she worked for Rick Scott, she worked for DeSantis, DeSantis fired her, and then she went and worked for Donald Trump, and of course, now she just recently got fired as chief of staff. Well, Susan Wiles was the one who apparently came up with the whole idea in the first place, to go work, have this signature thing event happen in Israel, so it seems like it was kind of a setup. Miriam Adelson refused to give a dime to DeSantis, didn't give him one penny,

[00:19:22] even though he kept courting her for money donations as well for his presidential run, at that time, no one knew if Trump was going to get through all these different court cases, the Fulton County issues and all that other kind of stuff, and he might actually be in prison by the time that the election came around, because of all these shenanigans that the Democrats were playing, and you had this, Miriam Adelson still would not support DeSantis, again, Randy Fine calling him a closet Nazi, so they just assumed it was part of that, and I've talked to several players around, including Augustus, about what happened to him,

[00:19:51] so that's the back story behind that whole DeSantis signature of the whole anti-Semitism bill, that really only, to this date, has only really been used against two members of the Antifa, who attacked a Catholic anti-abortion clinic in Orlando. I would say, I'm still, crazy, mildly favorable of DeSantis, certainly, and that is an endorsement compared to how I deal with most Republicans, to be sure, and I've certainly liked everything I've heard him say since Tuesday. Now, one more thing,

[00:20:21] Patrick, before we run out of time, we've got to take this bottom of the hour break, and we're going to shift to just another area of your incredible expertise, Iran, what may be coming there now that Trump has nothing left to lose. That is, in fact, the reason we brought you on, but I wanted to talk to you about this as well, especially on the heels of Lou Moore, it just seemed to flow well, and one more thing, though, you had written, I mean, about the loss in South Carolina in the Senate. Of course, folks,

[00:20:50] I'll remind you that just a couple of years ago, three years ago, in the spring of 2023, Patrick Martin put together a book, The Honorable Calls, A Free South, 12 Southern Essays, and I had the honor of being one of the 12 contributors to that book, and it made a big splash, actually. It was in the top 10 in several different Amazon categories upon its release, and it's still available, of course, at Amazon.com, The Honorable Calls,

[00:21:19] A Free South is the name of the book, Patrick Martin, the editor, and, you know, back then, Patrick, we were talking about, this was, you know, in the Biden era, and secession was something that, you know, was getting a look at. You go back, I remember giving speeches about it, you know, certainly prior to the Trump era, but even into it as well, different secession movements across the country, different, you know, even in New Hampshire, they actually voted on it in the state house, and it failed, of course,

[00:21:49] but, but it didn't fail unanimously, I'll say that, and I would ask you, is there an appetite now, or perhaps will there be an increased appetite for secession, once the Democrats get back in, and start doing what they do, or, I mean, there's one way to look at it, is there's reason to believe that there can be, the other side is, well, if you can't even elect your own candidates, in your own states, how are you going to get your state to secede from the union, with demographic replacement,

[00:22:19] and so on and so forth, you actually keyed in, on the Senate race in South Carolina, in a post today, that I thought was quite noteworthy, we got two minutes remaining, what was your take on that? Yeah, and thank you, South Carolina, the biggest problem with South Carolina is this, and a lot of southern states in general, is that you have a lot of Yankee retirees, and they have time and money, and so, and numbers, a lot of numbers, so what you have in South Carolina, and it happened in Florida as well, and it was elsewhere,

[00:22:48] is that these Yankee retirees, they may vote Republican, just like the good old boys, that may exist throughout the South, but they have so many numbers, and they have a very different perspective, on conservatism, than say, the fellow that may have, been raised in and around, say, Travelers Rest, and as I point out, there's a lot of folks, in the north of Charleston, really high-end, affluent area suburbs, and they look for a very different type, of engagement, and so, a Darlene Graham, kind of follows in the footsteps,

[00:23:18] of really just kind of, it really, for them, they're very much like Trump, I mean, it's all about money, it's all about looking to, what's the next 401k, going to do for me, and so, when Trump says, hey, I want you to have Darlene Graham, Darlene Graham, they immediately supported Darlene Graham, when there are many people, in South Carolina, essentially, folks that really, true South Carolinians, who thought this was a really bad pick, they were barely on board, for Lindsey Graham, in fact, they probably didn't even like him too much,

[00:23:46] Mr. Pink Bubble Wand, in DC, Disney, but that said, you know, you have this group though, that overwhelms, state, GOP politics, and that is these, boomer retirees, who, from the north, who come south, with a lot of money, and a lot of time, and they have a lot of money, a lot of the same, kind of their version, of conservatism, follows that, of kind of a Trump-esque, type conservatism, not a southern, blood and soul type,

[00:24:16] this is my home roots, this is where my family has been, for two centuries, or maybe eight, or nine generations, this is who I am, and my conservatism, as a southerner, is to protect the south, is to protect South Carolina, to defend this soul, and instead, they have this other group, that's saying, hey, I want my 401k to do better, I want my retirement funds to do better, I want my bonds to do better, and so, to their perspective, they'll listen to, somebody up north, telling them, yeah,

[00:24:46] vote for this lady right here, she'll do it for you, and I think that's the biggest problem, that the south has, How would you like to help this program, reach more people, and earn silver at the same time? And Patrick, just, I want to transition, into Iran, as quickly as we can, but we had an abrupt stop, to that last segment, we were so into it, we didn't even bother, to even listen, to the outro, music warning. But, the topic of secession, it's possibilities, I mean as faint as they are, I mean let's be real,

[00:31:09] but, and how it even exists, in a state like South Carolina, where you're talking about, the transplants, you're talking about, you know, poor candidates, and well just the whole thing. Give me one or two minutes, on that and we, I really want to go to Iran. You know, I think secession is a possibility, but I think it's getting narrow, or an hour, and the biggest problem, is twofold. One, the demographics of the United States, has changed so much, that the appetite for secession, continues to drop, dramatically.

[00:31:41] And so, whereas you have the South, in the South, really this last election here, kind of collapsed. If you think about it, I mean you now have, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Georgia is completely run, almost by black women. It is a, astounding, number, of southern states, Texas of course, that have just completely fallen. Alabama barely won, Mississippi has just recently fallen as well, Tennessee barely, held it together. I mean,

[00:32:10] not as badly, of course, as other states. I mean, Florida as well, I mean Florida's, stayed very, very red, but that's largely because of DeSantis' engineering. It's a, it's a unique time, so you have a demographic shift that's happening quickly, where I do think secession is a possibility, but it's going to be a very few states. And I think that the state that's most likely set up for secession is Florida. If it's going to happen at all, I mean, it really, you now have this constant change. Now,

[00:32:40] everybody talks about secession and so forth, they don't like what the political outcome is on an election, and that's understandable. But, what happens often, especially with southern nationalists, is that Trump becomes a, they, they, they let their guard down, and they stop preparing, and they stop getting ready, and they, they, they don't use the time that Trump often gives them to prepare, to, to prepare. They don't use that time. They, they, everybody, everybody sort of drops their saltiers,

[00:33:10] and they grab their American flags. And so this challenge, this issue, constantly, it's, it's constantly evolving and revolving. I do think secession is a possibility. I think the biggest issue is going to happen ultimately long term, is going to be one along racial lines. Well, you know, if secession is a possibility, it will only be made a possibility, in the eventuality that the Democrats sweep back into power, and do everything worse nightmare. And that is, you know, as Keith Alexander,

[00:33:39] who is at the Ole Miss game tonight, versus Georgia, the, the boys are down, the rebels are down a little bit right now. We'll see what happens, but that's where he is. And, but as he often mentions, you know, Puerto Rico and D.C. State, you know, stacking the Supreme Court, the filibuster, they do all of that. And then some, then maybe some states will begin to consider it. But then, and only then, and even then, it's still, you know, the odds are not good, but it would be possible. But that's the only way it's possible.

[00:34:08] Now we hope it doesn't get to that, right? I mean, we hope that something will happen that will, you know, well, I don't say we hope that it won't get to that. I don't mind if it gets to that at all. But what I'm saying is, I, rather than suffering, I would rather us, you know, have a, have a quicker fix. Now, so here's where we're at, Patrick, as we begin to shift into Iran. And I know you have a very bleak outlook on what's coming from the last two years of the lame duck Trump administration. I think,

[00:34:38] I'll just give you a couple of personal takes, then we'll toss it over to you. And again, when we're talking with Patrick Martin, we are talking with a man who holds two master's degrees, including one in Islamic studies. As a former government contractor, he's worked in 78 different countries, spending the majority of his time in the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, Sub-Zaharan Africa, and yes, the Middle East. So we are talking with an expert who has been there and done that. But here's my take on, on this. With regards to the election result,

[00:35:08] I think a lot of people in the GOP are relieved. Actually, I think they're relieved. They can revert back to form and being able to be the minority party that pumps the brakes on only the most egregious implementations of the left. They can revert back to being the stupid party of beautiful losers. I think some of them are relieved with that. And we could be relieved with that, too. I could revert back to form and hoping for GOP utter defeat. You know,

[00:35:37] when Pat was running, when I got my start, you know, the objective was to win the presidency. But as a reformed party, third party candidate, you know, that wasn't very likely. And then the secondary objective was to at least do well enough to build a lasting right wing third party. And the third objective was at least to stop Bush from getting in and punish the Republican Party that way. And we failed at all of that, unfortunately, but it didn't give me my start. And here we are now so many years later.

[00:36:09] But so I do think that some of the GOP may be relieved, but we want to have our people be advanced. Now, Patrick, with regards to Iran, Trump had been calling this a golden age. Now, it may appear to be a golden age compared to what's coming. You know, as I said on some shows on Tuesday that I was appearing as a guest on, you know, the old thing about, you know, whites in Europe can't even go out, you know, without, you know, the risk of being stabbed or blown up by a Muslim.

[00:36:39] But at least they're not speaking German. Right. Well, I mean, you may be saying as we are cellmates, you know, in a couple of years when the left radicalizes the government and weaponizes it against us that, well, at least Trump is a president. And but we hope it doesn't get to that. But I will say this, that the Democrats are, are as bad as the Republicans on everything, if not worse. And that includes Iran. And that includes, you know, Hakeem Jeffries, you know, he,

[00:37:08] he received, I think the APAC money in one election cycle was like third top of his list of, in fact, I've got the numbers right here. You know, this is going to be most likely the incoming speaker of the, of the house. Well, I said, I had it. Where is it? Well, whatever it was, there was two, two corporate interests. That gave more than eight back to Hakeem Jeffries. They are as bad on Iran. You know, the rhetoric, notwithstanding,

[00:37:36] they will be as bad as on Iran as the, uh, the Trump. But the question to you is that that was just my piece. I mean, speaking my mind, Trump has nothing left to lose. Now, what does the next two years look like? So I think, um, as it pertains to Iran now, the, the one thing that the U S government does not really understand is who they're up against. And, and again, we've had these conversations.

[00:38:04] This is a much deeper topic in terms of how Iran is structured, why it will never, you will never have regime change. Why, um, the, uh, Grand Ayatollah is beloved by the vast majority of the Iranian people. Um, but more importantly is that Bozeshkin, the current president of Iran is a, himself a veteran of a brutal, uh, Iraq Iran war. He was a volunteer doctor on the front lines who also would pick up his weapon and fight. Um,

[00:38:33] he is, so he, he was kind of born and bred in war and, uh, he's from a unique, uh, Aziri Kurdish background. That was, uh, built in and around the really highly contentious areas of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Um, and so for him, this is a man who's been studying war, lived war for the past 40 years. This is not a guy that either,

[00:39:00] whether it's Hakeem Jeffries or Schumer or Trump living in the cushiness of, uh, the American suburban lifestyle in the case of Trump and mega wealth. Uh, this is a gentleman who, who literally was patching bodies on the front lines of a quasi religious war on the Zagros mountains and is now in charge of Iran. The, at the same time, um, you have, so here, here's what I think is going to happen. Trump is talking about using nuclear weapons.

[00:39:30] Now, I don't think he's, well, he may use nukes. He might, but if he uses nukes, there is an opening for Vance to try to employ the 25th amendment. That would be a foolish endeavor for the Democrats, not the Republicans. Because the Democrats are going to benefit from the fact that Trump is so deeply unpopular now, that if they can just keep him where he's at, they're good. They don't have to really do anything. The Democrats don't,

[00:39:58] they could stand back and watch Trump do all kinds of stupid things, uh, on behalf of Israel. And so be it. Because for them, Vance is a bigger threat than Trump. If Vance were to come out, and if Vance was given the presidency because of the 25th amendment or something, now all of a sudden Vance is the incumbent who might be pushing back against, uh, any kind of, uh, democratic overreach. Whereas for Trump, meanwhile, if Trump stays in the next two years,

[00:40:25] Trump's number one concern is going to be what happens after I'm out. And he knows what he experienced the last time. He knows he really can't run to Israel now that Bibi Netanyahu's out. So Bibi Netanyahu was his parachute. And Bibi Netanyahu has been knocked out in Israel. And I think there's a lot of, a cause for concern there in Israel for a lot of folks that were allies of Netanyahu. So if you're Trump, your thought is, well, what happens to me in 2029? And there's one option,

[00:40:53] the really only option he's got is to pardon his entire family and then resign the office to the last minute to give it to Vance, who can then pardon him as well. Because if a Democrat wins in November, 2028, that Democrat is not going to pardon Trump. That's not going to happen. Um, it may, may happen if a Republican wins. And it really depends on which Republican wins. I could not, I could see where Trump's mortal enemy,

[00:41:20] Ron DeSantis might potentially win the nomination and may not give Trump the option of having a pardon. He probably would, but regardless, it's possible not this blanket pardon. Now, whether Trump did anything illegal or criminal or not, who knows? I don't think he really did much to be honest. I just think he's just a very greedy fellow. But that said, it doesn't matter to the Democrats. They're out for blood with this guy. They hate him. And so he's got to know that.

[00:41:48] And so his real only option now is to jump while he can get the best deal possible. And this is what kind of scares me the most about it, is that I don't think the Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries are quite interested in nuking Iran. I don't even think there's so much interested in nuking Iran, but they would love to see Trump continue to get deeper and deeper in the mud with Iran and make it worse and worse and worse

[00:42:14] so that there would never be a Republican chance for a victory in 2028. And then they can have their way. And let's be clear, Democrats are deep ideologues. They are absolutely far lefty. Like you and I will be in a gulag eating soy gruel in about three years if they win. And, you know, they win everything, right? I mean, they win everything. We're sitting there going, boy, you know, this soy gruel, I dream of it having berries in it.

[00:42:41] You know, we will definitely be captured. And I don't run very much. When I was a rink guard, I used to run three miles in 17 minutes. I'm a big fella now. And I'm in my 50s. So, I mean, I'm just saying right now, it's going to be pretty bad. And so, and Trump himself is going to be out for Trump. And so for the Democrats, if you're looking at it from a strategic perspective, you want Trump to continue doing all the stupid things he's been doing,

[00:43:10] essentially starting a war for Israel and getting deeper and deeper and deeper in the mud. And he's got his, the person he's up against is a guy who studied war for 40, who lived war his whole life, but studied war for 40 years and knew exactly where to strike and where to hit. And so, you know, you look at that totality of it. If I'm Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer, I just sit back

[00:43:38] and maybe what I do is I say to Trump at the last minute, I say, let's tell you what, I'm going to give you a deal. We aren't going to come after you at all. I'm going to tell every single attorney general not to come after Donald Trump after the election, after the presidency is over. However, if you do us a favor, if you sign an amnesty bill, if you sign an amnesty bill, now Trump has already said he was interested in an amnesty bill that representative, New York representative, Republican, by the way, who just lost his election,

[00:44:07] Mike Lawler was backing. Mike Lawler had built an amnesty bill that would give all illegal aliens amnesty with certain conditions involved. They couldn't have committed a crime, they had to pay certain taxes back, whatever it may be. But that said, of course, you can't tell what taxes are owed by an illegal alien because, well, they're illegal. They don't have, you know, 401, they don't have the 1040s available to them and what have you. So anyway, regardless, you've got right now, Lawler's bill was on, apparently Trump was very much supportive

[00:44:37] of Lawler's bill and was thinking about signing it anyway after the midterms to have an amnesty of some kind that was signed. And he's got a lot of push for that. The current Mark Mulholland, Mulwain, Mark Mulwain, from now the Department of Homeland Security, Secretary of Homeland Security, was also pushing for this amnesty bill as well. So a lot of folks run him. So it wouldn't be surprising to me if the Democrats came to him and said, hey, we'll drop any kind of potential charges on you

[00:45:07] if you sign an amnesty bill. And I wouldn't be surprised at that. Now, meanwhile, the Iran conflict may continue just simply because the Democrats just want to let it keep going. Why not? It just makes it look worse and worse and worse for whoever tries to run for president in 2028. And if you're advanced and you say, hey, I want to call on the 25th Amendment and pull Trump, if you'd have to have Democratic support, they may say no. They may say, no, let's just keep on, let the crazy guy keep on bombing Iran,

[00:45:36] keep on destroying our ability, have the petrodollar pulled. They would love to have the petrodollar pulled. If Democrats have the petrodollar pulled, which has really been threatened right now, so Saudi Arabia, a number of countries have already talked about dropping the U.S. dollar. If they do that, the U.S. economy will fall about 35% in about a day. And that will be something that would be so catastrophic, you'll get an FDR 2.0

[00:46:04] that would make the Soviet Union look like a walk in the park. Well, you know, I was asking Lou Moore in the first hour, just as an exercise, an exercise, you know, what are the potential of the last two lame duck years of Trump or even the last few weeks of this Congress before it's retired doing something concrete? And we examined the possibilities or the lack thereof, but you're saying, Patrick, that it is more likely that what happens over the course of the last two years

[00:46:33] is that you have, you know, a Trump amnesty and maybe even red flag gun laws passed and, you know, maybe up to and including a nuclear strike in Iran? Yeah. It's going to be a mess. So the number one advisor for Trump has been Rick Scott. Rick Scott is the former governor of Florida. Again, a huge enemy of DeSantis. For a lot of the, there's a lot of backroom politics

[00:47:03] that I can get into in Florida politics, which I know very well. But Rick Scott, anyway, was in charge. He was the one who was responsible for Florida's red flag laws. A lot of grifters on the right claimed it was DeSantis. It was not DeSantis. It was Rick Scott. Rick Scott, it was best friends of Jeb Bush, implemented red flag laws after the Stoneman, the Parkland shooting that happened in Southeast Florida. Now, the issue with regard to Rick Scott, Rick Scott has been advocating

[00:47:33] for national red flag laws for quite some time. For those of you who remember, when that occurred, when that shooting occurred in Southeast Florida, it was Trump who was the first one to say, take their guns first and then, you know, and then look at their rights later. Something along those lines, he said, at the time, and it really kind of flipped out the pro-2A, rightfully so, by the way, including myself at the time, the pro-2A Americans, patriots. So, Trump has never really

[00:48:02] bought into the idea of gun rights. He's not a gun rights guy. He's very much been a supporter of red flag laws since at least 2018, 2019. Be prepared for some kind of mass shooting. It always seems to happen when Democrats are in charge. There's two things that always happen when Democrats are in charge of Congress and as a Republican president. Some kind of terrible mass shooting occurs, and then there's also a deep recession that happens in the last year of that Republican. For whatever reason, they just know how to do it. They did it to Bush,

[00:48:32] they did it to Trump, they even did it to Bush 1. Anytime you have the Democrats in charge of Congress and the Republican president, it never fails that at that there's going to be the recession in that last year of that Republican's specific presidency. But, there's always a mass shooting as well and it creates a big kerfuffle and requirement for all of a sudden you hear it again, gun control. Now, again, Trump, who's never been a real gun rights guy and has openly supported red flag laws,

[00:49:03] the number one supporter of gun rights, sorry, of gun control, of red flag laws is Rick Scott, a Republican senator from Florida who's been pushing them in the Senate since he got to the Senate in 2018. So, it would, here's your bipartisan bill comes along, it's Rick Scott and say John Ossoff from Georgia who has signed this red flag law, national red flag law that now takes your gun rights away because you know it will happen.

[00:49:33] Anything you say on Facebook or whatever that may be construed as some kind of threat regardless of whether or not it's a true threat or not. If I say, boy, those transgender freaks are weirdos, if I say that, oh, you were trying to kill transgenders, let's take your guns away and let's make sure you go to a court to see if you can get your gun rights back and you know how that goes when you get to a leftist court, you're now going to have to fight and you're going to have to pay to get your gun rights back. Those red flag laws in my opinion are unconstitutional but does not matter. Who's going to fight for it? Certainly not the Republican Party.

[00:50:03] The Republicans are the, they love to be losers. As you said earlier, so you have, this is going to likely happen and I do think amnesty is going to happen in the last two years in exchange for Trump being able to nuke Iran. That was the thing, you know, when you texted me this earlier today, I said, you know, that just seems a little bit far-fetched but really no more far-fetched than, you know, the man saying build the wall, build the wall, it gets 10 feet higher, you know, granting amnesty is no more far-fetched than the man who said, you know, we got to get out of all these wacko

[00:50:33] Middle Eastern wars getting us into a place that even George Bush and Karl Rove and Dick Cheney couldn't get us into in their wildest fever dream. I, you know, I don't regret voting for Trump. I don't regret being more tolerant of this experiment than a lot of my contemporaries but we are here now where we are and it was worth the shot, I think, you know, what was the alternative, you know, ongoing Bush-Clinton, you know, you're it this year, I'll be it next time.

[00:51:04] I don't regret any of that but we have to be real about where we are and so from where we are now, Patrick, how can we get to where we need to be? How can we take what happened on Tuesday and the prospects that you are sharing with us right now and somehow find a way to some sort of better future for the West and for our nation which is, of course, our race here on this continent? Focus hyperlocal. If you don't have a church, find your church. Find Jesus, please,

[00:51:34] and know who he is. Read your Bible. Make sure that you're around like-minded white Christians. Make sure that you are in a community and you're building community relations that are microscopic, micronuclear. These are small communities. If anything we can learn, the greatest revolutionary movement in world history was the early Christian movement of the first few centuries after Jesus Christ was crucified

[00:52:04] and what did they do? It was essentially kitchen churches. It was a small table, talking about Jesus Christ, the gospel, making sure they knew who each other were, providing each other support or preparing to provide each other support. When captured, nobody, think about it. Think about how insane this is. You're about to be fed to lions and you're not ratting out your church. You're not ratting out the other fellow

[00:52:34] Christian community. You're dying because you know you're about to meet Jesus. So you're about to suffer temporarily to go meet Christ. But to ensure that your faith survives. You need to ensure that your race survives. That your faith survives. Find your local community and make these connections and these small micro-tribal connections that need to happen. Four or five men can do a lot.

[00:53:04] And I've seen it and one of the greatest things that happened in this election is the story of Marshall Rawlson in Florida. You're here. Marshall Rawlson is a former member of the League of the South. I don't think he left the League of the South because he was against the League of the South because he just didn't have time for it. He marched to Charlottesville. He is a dedicated Southern nationalist, a proud Christian, a great guy. You and I both know who he is. He never wilted. He never one time apologized for marching

[00:53:34] in Charlottesville. He never one time apologized for being a member of the League of the South. In fact, he doubled down on it in support. And what did he do? He won his election in his area, which by the way has the University of Florida about as left wing as it gets in his district, in his area. He won that by 34 points. Donald's won his election by one point with Trump's back. That tells you a lot of what's out there right now. That is a great, not only is that a great way to end the hour, Patrick, but it is an uplifting way to end the hour

[00:54:03] with a very real and serious example of what candidates can succeed and what candidates fail. And, well, you've got 15 seconds on this and I don't want to revert back to something more dreary, but escalation or peace in Iran more likely in the coming weeks? Escalation followed by a bad defeat. Sorry, guys. We will still look to Florida for hope. People like

[00:54:33] Marshall Rawson can show us the way forward and there will be a way forward for our people even through this current morass. There will be so long as we breathe, we hope, right? South Carolina, we'll be right back. Thank you, Patrick Martin. We'll talk to you again soon. Thank your wife for us as well. We'll see you next time.
