Radio Show Hour 2 – 2025/02/15

Radio Show Hour 2 – 2025/02/15

An outstanding quintet of females give their takes on Trump and the countless headlines that have captivated us all in recent days. Kim and Lacey sound off this hour.

[00:00:01] You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is The Political Cesspool. The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program. And here to guide you through the murky waters of The Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.

[00:00:29] When I meet a new girl

[00:01:08] Valentine's Day with the ladies, an annual tradition here at TPC, and we're going to put our pedal to the metal now and move forward two hours for ladies still forthcoming. And to kick things off this second hour, we go to Kim, a homeschooling, a home churching, homesteading. And I say this with a bit of question in my voice.

[00:01:36] Mother of seven, it seems like every year we have Kim on that number rises. I think it's seven though right now. Am I right, Kim? James, on Valentine's Day, I don't have any big surprise like I'm pregnant with triplets or anything. Okay, so I hate to let your audience down, but we're just the normal carnival show of seven. Seven. We're waiting for you to get into double figures. Holding steady at lucky number seven.

[00:02:03] Well, Kim, you are one of the most amazing people I've ever met of either gender, and there are only two. But you know how much I love your family and your husband and your extended family, your sister. And it is great to have you back on tonight. Valentine's Day. Happy Valentine's Day weekend. And you are one of our go-to girls for this. Where are we starting tonight? Well, thank you so much, James, for having me on. It's always an honor.

[00:02:31] And I really wanted to talk the whole half hour about trash bag date. I'm kidding. No, no, no. You know, it's funny you say that because we were talking about that behind the scenes this week. But Danny really wanted to make a point to come on tonight and let everybody know she didn't know about that. You didn't call her anything except white trash. No. Right there, you know you married a good woman because there is something instinctual when you find out.

[00:02:58] And one of my children has also packed and went somewhere in a trash bag, threw everything in a trash bag. And there's something that just cuts you so deep you feel like you have to make a public statement about it. So I'm on Team Danny. I can understand, like, how did this happen? You just have to clarify. You want everyone to know. You do have proper, you know, suitcases and luggage. But, no, I think I'm just all joking aside.

[00:03:27] I think, honestly, James, I just want to be happy and I want to enjoy this moment because I remember in 2016 talking with you and Danny. And I said, you know, it's the dawning of a new day when Trump got in. And I feel like it was a huge, you know, dawning of a new day. We were all excited.

[00:03:53] And I think I just slowly got worn down by that first four years with Trump. You know, there was a lot of, quote, monitoring the situation. I mean, if I had to see one more tweet. Law and order tweet? Yes, law and order tweet. And he had a monitoring the situation about South Africa and the Afrikaners. So to see that and now eight years later, not only is he, quote, unquote, monitoring the situation, he's doing more than that. He stopped. He paused.

[00:04:23] Refugee resettlement. Now, I know that they're supposed to come back to him in about 100 days and reassess. But he paused all this insane refugee resettlement except opening it up to these Afrikaners and in that executive order. And that's huge to actually see that they are doing more than monitoring the situation that, hey, they're calling it, you know, for those Afrikaners, this is huge.

[00:04:52] Now, I will say, and I think a lot of people would agree with me, that America led the way for this disaster to unfold in South Africa. And that is a shame and that's a sin to our nation that we brought that country to its knees. And where there are today, we have a lot to be held accountable for.

[00:05:14] I will say, though, giving these people hope, the ones that want to leave and where they can come here and make a new life, I know that this is not their homeland. I wish they could stay and thrive and survive in their homeland. And everyone deserves that. Whether it's an Afrikaner or a Palestinian, I feel like people have homelands. They are important.

[00:05:40] I will say, though, because the Afrikaners are just an extension of my extended family, God bless them. God bless Trump if they're trying to look for a way to leave and now they have that opportunity. So I'm going to take these wins. I really appreciate, James, your show and you and Keith's take. It's very measured. It's, you know, take the wins. If there is something good, let's say, hey, this is a good thing for our people.

[00:06:09] This is a good thing for our nation. Like you said on one of your shows, tomorrow if he says, hey, we're going to war with Iran, obviously we're not going to be on board. You know, everybody needs to be critically thinking through these things. But at the same time, let's not just be ideologues for the right to. I think, you know, we're so used to losing on everything in the last four years with the Biden administration. I don't think some of us know what to do if we had a win.

[00:06:40] Well, it's really been since the Civil Rights Movement. At least. And, you know, he never misses a chance or an opportunity like NASCAR and the Confederate flag. You know, he didn't have to do that. But he basically told them, you know, to get a backbone and support the people that support you. Well, he was saying that the ratings have tanked since they banned the flag. But, yeah, I mean, so, Kim, again, and we keep changing mics here, so I have to keep adjusting.

[00:07:07] But I wanted to mention you referenced South Africa, and I meant to reference this in the first hour. I think our March Around the World series this month is just going to be even more fascinating than usual because of all these reverberations. You know, how are they going to wash up on the shores of Europe and Australia and elsewhere. And so that will be a very interesting – it always is an interesting series, but I think even more so this year. And that kicks off in two weeks.

[00:07:33] But from your perch in the Ozark Mountains tonight, Kim, and this is, again, what we're asking everybody. But you had texted me, I don't know, two or three weeks ago. Maybe it was the show we did with Brad Griffin when that whole company was in town. But basically, you see it the same way as we do. You are just as ardently pro-white as anybody who's ever appeared on this program, you and your family.

[00:07:57] And you're raising these wonderful kids, seven kids, in the spirit of Christ, and to revere their ancestors, to respect their heritage, and all of that, everything that we would want. Everything we like to talk about on Valentine's Day. But from your position as an astute political observer, frankly, you see the things coming out of Trump as not some sort of scam to trick us into doing something for Israel, but things that are actually just good.

[00:08:26] They are just good. I think there are some things that are just good. I'm sure you all totally agree. When he blanket pardons, what, 1,500 J-6ers? Right out of the gate. I was shocked. Right out of the gate. I said, okay, I'm listening. Because I went into this thinking, all right, is this going to be just like 2016? And, you know, we're monitoring everything. We sort of expected. Here comes a new boss just like the old boss. With him not having another term to run for.

[00:08:55] I think we almost expected it. We were hopeful, and we did that show right before the inauguration with Steve King and Lou Moore and Jared Taylor, and we were all hopeful. But it's come to fruition. It's everything we wanted, I think. Tell me if you agree with this or not, and feel free to disagree. It's everything we had hoped for in 2016 and then some. Yeah, I've been happy for the last month.

[00:09:22] Now, you know, if next month things change, I want to be objective, and I want to say what is good. And I want to say if I disagree with someone, I don't want to be just a complete ideologue. It's all good for you. Exactly.

[00:09:36] And, you know, but pardoning those abortion activists, the grandmother, the 87-year-old woman and a father of 11 children that were arrested for praying outside of the abortion clinic, you know, Trump pardoning them. That was huge right there.

[00:09:57] I don't know if you all followed that case closely, but he ran Silk Road, which was that dark web, hidden web service where, you know, you could buy and sell products and only use crypto. He got two life sentences without parole, and he served 12 years in prison. And I thought that guy would never see the light of day. It was one of the craziest cases.

[00:10:21] I know a lot of libertarians really pushed for his release and his pardon, and I thought it would never happen. And when he pardoned him, that just gave me chills. What's next? James Fields? Ross Ulbricht. Ross Ulbricht. Oh, well, I missed the joke. Sorry. The joke was James Fields, I guess. Is that going to be next? I don't think that's going to happen, but, you know. Probably not.

[00:10:46] But, you know, firing, everybody loves to see a good federal employee fired. I mean, that's happening. It's not just happening. There's a lot of that going on. We'll be right back with Kim, one of our favorite ladies and a dear friend. Hey, y'all. Stay tuned. Do you enjoy great-tasting coffee but are tired of supporting companies that hate you? [00:13:24] But years my love will grow like a rose. I am so devoid. All right, I'm going to rat on Keith. I'm ratting on you.

[00:13:49] All right, so everybody who knows Kim knows that her favorite Everly Brothers song is Let It Be Me. And how can you argue that? And so I asked Keith during the break, I said, Keith, what do you want to do? Because he wanted to play Devoted to You. I said, should we give it, do you want to give it to Kim and do Let It Be Me? Or do you want to do Devoted to You? He said, let's give it to Kim and we'll play Devoted to You next. I said, well, I can't play the whole Everly Brothers anthology tonight. You're already stepping on my toes a little bit because I wanted to play a Phil Spector song right here. And he thought about it.

[00:14:18] He said, let's go with Devoted to You. Wow. You got to turn on your mic. Turn on your mic. A gentleman always. Always a gentleman. He said, always a gentleman, Keith. He gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. Hey, Keith, I like that masculine leadership right there. I'm going to go with that. I like that. You made the decision and you just went with it. I really appreciate that. That's right. That's another way to let it.

[00:14:48] That's actually a healthy way to let it. Now, who could not like those leaders? No, well, we like it all. There's no doubt about it. But Kim is, I call her Kim Let It Be Me. I'm not going to say her last name. He's going to play bird dog next. Oh, wow. Anyway, well, I'll tell you what. We will actually make it better, Kim. We will tell everybody. You got a little homework tonight. If you enjoy Kim's commentary every time she's on the show, and how could you not?

[00:15:16] Go to YouTube, Let It Be Me by the Everly Brothers, and that's your Valentine's Day assignment. How about that, Kim? Yeah, that's fair enough. I'll accept that. How do we transition from that to the MLK files, James? Oh, well, how about not devoted to you? Let me just tell you. We have an uncanny way, Kim, of being able to make just those transitions, especially on the Valentine's Day show.

[00:15:46] As you will recall, we still laugh about this. So, again, typically on this show, the Ladies' Night Valentine's Day show we do every year. We do, you know, dating, building strong marriages, raising healthy families, traditional roles, putting ourselves on the path to better health, benefits of living a traditional life, navigating the cultural decline, the importance of home education, trade schools. White birthrights. White birthrights. Home churching, leaving a legacy for your family, radical feminism, proper gender roles, and then, you know, even things like gardening.

[00:16:15] And I don't know if it was Lacey or Janice a year ago or a year or two ago. It just, it was the most seamless transition between gardening and Jews. It just, do you remember that one? I was just, I was like, this is just amazing. The Valentine's Day show can bring that about. I, you know what, with the ladies, all things are possible. So, yeah. Well, you said, how could we get devoted to you, linked to MLK? Well, I've got it, not devoted to you.

[00:16:45] All right. Well. There you go. There you go. Take it, Kim. Well, I am, you know, just as far as what could be coming out.

[00:16:53] I, I guess I will say it's nice to not be called a conspiracy theorist because I know, I mean, you guys probably 20 years ago were reading all these MLK, not these exact files that will be released and that were, and that were released during the, some things were released during the first Trump administration. But it's nice that we're not called conspiracy theorists anymore.

[00:17:21] And to see the shift, the social shift with people understanding the true history and legacy of MLK is absolutely fascinating because 20 years ago, if you were to tell someone, hey, you know, let, let me tell you what, I believe it was Reverend Abernathy said, what was going on when they were all together. And people would have just laughed in your face. And had you said it at a church, you probably would have been excommunicated from your church.

[00:17:49] But now these things are indisputable. And I find that so encouraging. I find, I was, I was reading earlier, there's a, in 2011, they did a study that said when just 10% of the population holds an unshakable belief, I mean, it is ingrained. Their belief will always, it says their belief will always be adopted by the majority of the society. In time. Because of what it is.

[00:18:19] And that's us. Yes. And, and you're seeing that shift. I really feel a shift this year. It's encouraging. I was listening to who I consider a moderate, even Megyn Kelly the other day, you know, she, someone asked her, do you really believe that we should deport all 23 illegal, million illegal aliens from this country? And she unequivocally said, yes, deport them all.

[00:18:46] And let me just say this too, about MLK, the family asked Trump to let them have a preemption right and to see it first. And he just said flat out no. Yeah. I mean, that's interesting because just in the Barnes review in the most recent issue was a reprint of the transcript of Drew Lackey, who said he never thought that, you know, he passed away. Now he's dead. Sam Dixon will send me an email.

[00:19:16] He says they're not passed away. They're dead. Drew Lackey is dead now. But he said that he never thought that those files would ever be released, not even in 2027, and especially not sooner than that. But, but anyway, Kim, you were on to something big time. And I want to circle back to that, the 10%, the unshakable 10%, how their vision will break through at some point, at some time. It's almost inevitable.

[00:19:40] And the first over the wall always takes that heavy damage, whether it was David Duke or, you know, Jared Taylor or Peter Brimelow or Buchanan or us or any of the regular people we feature on this program. But it's broken through now. And it doesn't matter who gets the credit because we're collective. We're not individualists. And we, you know, all of us who have played a role and will continue to do that are essential parts in all of this. And we, you're part of that too, Kim. Everybody in this audience is.

[00:20:09] We have survived a long night. And I think, you know, I don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves because we're not even a month into this administration, much less a year or four years. But maybe this is what it's like to experience the dawn. But we've got about five minutes left. And I want to just completely turn off our mics and give it to you.

[00:20:25] Yeah, I, one thing I wanted to mention to James is just, I feel like everyone needs to take this opportunity with their kids or with their coworkers to encourage them to make the most of the next four years. Because this is a unique opportunity. We do not know what's going to come after these four years. We don't even know what's going to come after this next six months.

[00:20:49] But with our own family members that might be looking for employment, with our children that maybe for, you know, during the Biden administration felt like they couldn't get a job or that they would never get ahead or that they could never support a family. I feel like we need to push and reach out and go for every opportunity that we can now that I feel like this whole DEI thing is on the back foot.

[00:21:18] And it's becoming the minority of places such as Costco that's still, you know, doubling down. And there's others on, you know, keeping their DEI. But everybody else is seeing the tide shift. And it would be foolish with our own kids and with our own family members not to say, hey, get out there and do everything you can to take advantage of these things.

[00:21:43] As Trump called it, the golden age of America or golden era. You know, these are all patriotic terms and everything. You can call it whatever you want. But let's let's get out there and see what we can get done for our people and take advantage of that. I guess one of the last things I would say is I am also encouraged and shocked over the RFK appointment.

[00:22:11] I think I was one of five people watching C-SPAN, you know, all day. And they were filibustering that thing, just talking it to death. And when he got in, I was genuinely just I didn't I thought he would lose by a vote or two. I believe Hegseth was it was a tie, you know, with the VP breaking it. So I thought, well, if he was if Hegseth was a tie, there's no way RFK will get in.

[00:22:37] And that to me is so encouraging just to give a voice to families and children just about alternatives and healthier options for our children. And like I said, with the 10 percent, if you can get just a strong minority to care about health and exercise and what we're eating and what we're putting in our bodies, it becomes the fad.

[00:23:05] So it doesn't it doesn't take it doesn't take a lot. But we just need to stand strong. And I would say I'm I'm excited when I hear people like Jared Taylor, who was very skeptical. I heard him last week on your show. Right, right. And it was that's why we brought him back for an update. Yes, it was. I thought, you know, I just really admire him just as so many people do. And he was just just to hear that honest admission of, hey, this is wonderful what's happened in the last month.

[00:23:34] Let's see where it goes. And to hear him, you know, speak on last week's show versus before Trump got elected, I asked I felt that positive vibe shift with him. And, you know, love hearing Brad Griffin on the show and just hearing his honest assessment. So, yeah, just thank you for your work. And, you know, we'll just we'll just see what next week holds. And, you know, we're at war with Iran next week. We'll we'll just pretend this conversation never happened. No, I mean, we will we will still be.

[00:24:04] Listen, I mean, the memories of those four weeks will be evergreen. But we've only had four shows. We've only had four broadcasts since the inauguration. And I think you're beginning to see that if if we're wrong about this, a lot of folks in our community are wrong about this. And including a lot of our regular guests, including a lot of the guys last week and and the ladies so far tonight. Now, but I don't think we're going to be the music playing, Kim.

[00:24:33] You did have one upgrade that you would suggest for Trump. I believe that is cyan Quinn for press secretary, although Carolina Vette's doing a good job. But you like cyan. Absolutely. Cyan is first rate. So professional. What a blessing to have her on the show. Folks, let it be me. Go listen to it. Using the Constitution as our guide. You're listening to Liberty News Radio. News this hour from townhall.com.

[00:25:03] I'm Jason Walker. Federal spending cuts continue. House Republican Whip Tom Emmer says voters want Congress to make the cuts in the same way Doge goes about it. As Doge continues to root out waste, fraud and abuse within our federal government, our House Republican majority stands ready to ensure that our laws follow through on the mandate given to us in November to do the same.

[00:25:26] House Republican Conference Chair Lisa McClain says Democrats just don't seem to get it when it comes to eliminating wasteful spending. Millions of Americans are cheering for these cuts to waste, fraud and abuse. Only extreme Democrats seem to have issue with it. Learning more now about that midair collision near Washington that left 67 people dead.

[00:25:50] NTSB says the crew of that Army helicopter may have had inaccurate altitude readings in the moments prior to the midair collision. Also at townhall.com, Ukrainian President Zelensky views President Trump as key to ending the Ukraine-Russian war, but he does have some concerns. Zelensky welcomed a phone call from President Trump,

[00:26:15] but later said it was not pleasant that Trump first called Russia's Vladimir Putin about negotiations. Zelensky also said he would not accept any agreements that do not include his country in the talks. The Ukrainian leader reportedly told the White House that Putin doesn't want peace, and he said he will only agree to meet in person with the Russian leader after a common plan is negotiated by Donald Trump. Or even claim that blacks are living in fear of white people.

[00:30:41] Valentine's Day weekend rolls on here as TPC broadcasts live this February the 15th. How about the ladies so far? About halfway through the show tonight, Keith. We're about to do this every week. I mean, they cannot be beat, and they get better every year. They just get better and better and better. And, well, one who had a lot of experience at this in her own right

[00:31:08] as a YouTuber, Lacey Lynn, of course, is back with us now, and she is a former Eagle Forum activist, a former YouTuber, now a full-time homemaker and homeschooling mother, TPC's very own June Cleaver. Lacey, it's great to have you back tonight. Hi. Thank you for having me. Well, thank you for being a part of my day. We did. It wasn't quite as good. Well, you know, Danny mentioned it earlier. We went out to eat last night,

[00:31:38] and we did a little shopping and just a little night out. We actually sprung for something more than McDonald's. Well, yeah, it was a little bit cold. I don't know what happened there. It was not anything compared to that Valentine's Day dinner we had with you a few years ago that you hosted. Now, that was one for the books. Well, thank you. That's very sweet. We have to do it again. Well, I look forward to it, and I always look forward to seeing you again.

[00:32:08] And talking with you. And talking to you on the radio. And so having you back tonight, again, I am a slave to tradition, and this is one that I never want to break free from. I love these Valentine's Day shows, and y'all truly do get like a fine wine better every year. Always great, and it just continues to exceed the previous year. So all that being said, Lacey, what are we talking about with you tonight? This is a little bit different. We're keeping it on political topics tonight.

[00:32:37] Takes on Trump, early grades on the incoming administration. And I just basically, in the group text with all the ladies this week, just said, yeah, you pick, call your shots, pick your songs, and tell me what we're going to talk about. So what are we talking about tonight? Well, we are talking about the immigration from Mexico across the southern border. And I'm, am I the only Texan here?

[00:33:06] I still have some residents texting tonight that I should give representation on the southern border issue. Well, take it away by all means. Yes, absolutely. You are closer to the border than any of the other ladies on the program. The last lady was a former Texan, but now is a majority. Oh, very good, very good. That is correct. True. Yeah. So, I mean, I haven't, honestly,

[00:33:34] I haven't been that excited about Trump's second term. It's not that I'm, I don't want to be controversial. It's not that I'm black-pilled necessarily. It's just I'm not that thrilled over Trump. And I feel a lot of us feel that way, right? Certainly some. You see some, some good things.

[00:34:01] But it was in 2019, his State of the Union address, where he had that famous line, we're going to have more immigration than ever. And that was definitely a big, big blow to the Trump train that we thought that we had. Has he retracted that now, Lacey, or is he still saying that?

[00:34:31] I don't know if he's retracted that. Have you all heard anything? Well, I mean, I haven't heard him actually say I retract that particular statement. But, I mean, certainly, you know, his tone on immigration, apparently has changed. And his appointment in what they're doing, what his borders are, is doing now. But this is the whole point of these early shows this year is to, and I want all opinions. I am open to certainly being wrong about this, and we'll see what happens.

[00:35:00] And it is interesting to have different takes. So the diversity of opinion. The only thing that I think that most of our listeners have a problem with is the fact that he is so slaviously devoted to Israel. All right, that's another thing. But continue, Lacey, this is your time. That's kind of what was the issue for me as well. I'm not saying I'm anti-Trump. I don't think we're going to get the perfect eye in office.

[00:35:28] And certainly we can get some policies pushed forward that are pro-our people, pro-going in the right direction. So that would be a net positive. But, you know, I started out saying I haven't been Trump's biggest fan. But I will say when I looked into the immigration issue to talk about tonight, I do see a lot of really good policy that he's starting.

[00:35:56] I mean, of course, a lot of this is to be determined whether a lot of this has follow-through. But, for instance, there's quotas now on ICE. There are ICE quotas. And they're trying to mass report 1,200 to 1,500 individuals daily.

[00:36:22] In addition to that, there has been a national emergency declared for the southern border, which is positive. And have you heard about the Lakin-Riley Act? Yes. Right. So Lakin-Riley was... The thing that was interesting about that, Lacey, just very quickly, is that that's actually beyond an executive order. That's actual law now that's passed through Congress.

[00:36:51] Explain. Yes. So Lakin-Riley was a 22-year-old girl in Georgia who was murdered during a run outside by a Venezuelan man. And as somebody personally, I used to run outside before we got a treadmill to put in our house. And I actually talked to my husband about that. And I said, you know, I've been listening to, like a lot of these millennial women, I've been listening to some true crime podcasts.

[00:37:19] And we need to get a treadmill so I can run inside because I'm not ready to die. Well, the big thing was Liza Fletcher in Memphis back in September of 23. Yeah, if you remember that one. That was a big one. She ran right by Keith's house that morning. She died. It was incredible. I mean, you know, terrible, but, you know, incredible to imagine. It's just, you never know.

[00:37:44] So the Lakin-Riley Act will detain migrants accused of theft-related crimes. So we're definitely, we're going in the right direction, I will say. Of course, we all know that legal immigration is also a huge problem.

[00:38:07] But with the issue in Texas and in the southern border, it is definitely, I mean, we have to address illegal immigration first before we can do anything else, I guess. And I will say this looks like it is going in the right direction. But the Texas demographics, I looked this up today, why is there a minority? The Hispanic population is at 40%. The whites are at 39%.

[00:38:39] All right, so that's a big problem. And I will say this, and let me be very clear. Anyone, Mike Lacey or anyone in our audience or anybody that we will interview in the coming weeks and months as we continue on through this year who is skeptical about Trump has every reason to be. Absolutely so.

[00:38:57] I just want to be clear that what we're doing here since January the 20th is not looking back on the mistakes and all the reasons for that skepticism, just only talking about what we've seen in the last three weeks. The 2025 Trump is much better than the 20th. And that's where we're trying to stick it to January 20th and beyond, not anything before that. I know it's hard to do. It's hard to do, and you really can't do it. But for the purposes of this program, that's what we've been doing so far.

[00:39:25] But all of that other stuff still is, of course, very valid. But continue on, Lacey, before the break. Well, right. And like I said, I do see that there are some positive policies being pushed forward, executive orders, and like the Lake and Riley Act that went through Congress. Like it's law, not an executive order. There is some good work being done. I do admit that.

[00:39:49] Like just like what Keith said just a minute ago, my frustration has been with Israel and Netanyahu and their very real bromance going on there. And that is a huge issue for me. But I am glad to see some good policy being pushed forward, especially as somebody new.

[00:40:17] I don't know if we're going to move outside of Texas in our lifetime. And there's a lot of reasons for that. We pretty much have absolutely no homeschooling laws. So it's a great state to live in. And no income tax, no state income tax. One of the few states, along with Tennessee and Florida, I believe, in the South. Please don't leave Texas. We need you there. She is the yellow rose of Texas. That's a song, right?

[00:40:47] Absolutely. And you can still find her incredible content on YouTube. Not updated anymore. She's busy being a mom. She's in that stage of life, the full nest stage. I feel she'll jump back into it sooner or later. Maybe. But it's still there for you. And she's still with us in the next second. West state civilization. Karl Marx crafted his communist ideology with the genocidal goal of destroying the European peoples. Key concepts of communism are atheism and materialism, that God and spirit do not exist.

[00:41:15] Germany was smashed at the end of World War II, and communism emerged triumphant. By controlling the political system, courts, mass media, educational system, and entertainment industries, Marxists have imposed a tyrannical, top-down agenda of globalism and immoralization on the West. The results are open borders, rampant crime, institutionalized corruption, sexual perversion, the destruction of the middle class, concentration of wealth, aimless youth with no purpose in life, and the hollowing out of Christianity. But Kyle McDermott's book, The Declaration of White Independence,

[00:41:43] demonstrates how we can unshackle our people from the communist ideology and obliterate atheism and materialism. The Declaration of White Independence is available at Dixie Republic. Most Americans are painfully aware that the nation is on the wrong track and in dire straits.

[00:42:08] Unfortunately, most political pundits only nibble around the edges when they claim to address the issues. Even worse, many of the so-called solutions are simply rewarmed servings of what got us into the mess we currently face. And the politicians think we're so gullible and naive that we'll buy their lies that they have reformed and now understand where they led us astray. Unfortunately, the truth of the matter is that they simply wish to continue to hold power.

[00:42:34] The solution to America's challenges is found in returning to the timeless principles found in the United States Constitution. My book and lecture series will reawaken in Americans an understanding and love of the principles which made this nation the freest, most prosperous, happiest, and most respected nation on earth. [00:43:00] It's always fun.

[00:43:38] And, you know, the fun doesn't stop on Valentine's Day. This whole broadcasting calendar, the ebbs and flows of a TPC year coming up not next week but two weeks from now, March Around the World, followed by Confederate History Month in April. And I just love all the things we do from January through December and then doing it all over again as the calendar turns. But this is always a special night. And we want to toss it back over to Lacey.

[00:44:04] And, again, it is difficult to operate by these stringent parameters. Judge Trump by January 20, 2025 through the current day and not look at this with a widescreen angle as Lacey is doing tonight. And it should be done. And she's doing it. And we're going to continue to let her do that and continue to chime in. I think that Trump has changed. I think the persecution. Well, that's the question. That's the question. The persecution he suffered has made him a different man.

[00:44:33] That we wonder. We wonder. Maybe. Maybe not. I mean, it's still too early to tell. We're all fleshing this out in real time. Lacey, back to you. Well, I hope so. I don't know. I mean, there's a lot to talk about with, you know, are we ever going to get the perfect guy in office? No. No.

[00:44:57] So we have to be strategic with who we do, throw our support behind. And, you know, there's a conversation to be had about using imperfect politicians for the end goal and our end goal of having a pro-white society or just the freedom to associate,

[00:45:23] the freedom to educate our children the way that we believe matches up with our values, the freedom to not have our children killed when we go off. You know, so there's definitely never going to be a perfect politician, but we can get policy pushed through that will allow us to thrive in a better society than we have at this moment.

[00:45:50] And I do hope that is Trump. I do. I'm not saying that I'm completely like he's not going to do anything good. I do see that a lot of this policy that's come out just as an executive order or because of the—

[00:46:10] I'm definitely surprised with him so far in this second term, but, you know, I understand, you know, you have every right to have been dissatisfied with the first-term Trump. Well, also, I just—I live in Texas, and I am—it's a difficult place to live. I mean, like, I don't think we're going to get—I don't think we're going to get our guns taken away here. I don't think we'll get strict homeschooling laws.

[00:46:40] We do have no income tax. It is a good place to live for a lot of reasons, but we're getting demographically beat here. And it's been that way ever since I was a kid. I remember my parents saying, oh, that town used to be the Podunk town. That town used to be the Redneck town. That town used to be the Rodeo town. And now it's just—it's run over by— It's not a Mexican town.

[00:47:11] It's the—it's Little Mexico everywhere. And if it's not that, it's the Indians coming over. There's a lot of Indian migration to Texas, as a lot of the tech HQs are moving here. There—a lot of the tech HQs are setting up camps in Texas, bringing a lot of— And they're, if anything, even worse than the Jews in terms of clannishness. Yes. Yes, it is.

[00:47:41] So we're getting demographically beat. So it is a great state to live in. It's got a lot of rich history. I love the history of Texas. I love salsa and margaritas. And John Wayne, even though he was from Idaho. What about Davy Crockett, that famous Tennessee? You've got to love him. That famous last stand down there. It does get hot in Texas. I mean, it gets hot here, but it gets really hot down there.

[00:48:11] That's awful, too. I pretty much stay inside all summer, if I can do that. But, I mean, we're getting demographically beat. And it's hard. It's hard to—even since I was a child, how things have changed. And like I said, my parents would remark on how things had changed since they were children.

[00:48:35] And my children are growing up in a Texas that is different from what I knew growing up. And a lot of this policy really looks promising. I hope it does help change things. You hope it proves to be real change and not counterfeit change. I hope so. And, I mean, time will tell.

[00:49:02] I know the left is really angry about a lot of this. And they're talking, you know, this is the next politics. That's a good thing. Yeah. I mean, it's the first one ever happened. But, I mean, they're very upset about, you know, they're talking. This is the most evil thing to be done.

[00:49:29] The rounding up of migrants, you know, they're comparing it to internment camps. And, yeah. Boxcars to Auschwitz, as we say. Let me say, if they were satisfied with things, if we weren't hearing all this outrage from them, I'd be very, very worried. Well, I mean, you know, and the truth is somewhere in between their fever dreams and what we hope Trump is. I mean, the real Trump is somewhere in between those two polls, hopefully nearer to ours than theirs.

[00:49:57] Or maybe I got that wrong. But maybe nearer to theirs. I like what I'm hearing from his borders are now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tom Holman. Yeah. I mean, look, if you can limit yourself to January 20th onward and what is the output of this administration, Gaza notwithstanding. That's a difficult order to fill. But if you can do that, it seems as though the consensus is favorable. I'm not going to say all in, no reservations. This is it. We've won.

[00:50:27] But it's better than what we... It's like the Titanic. We've stopped the hole. We've patched the hole. But now we need to pump it out. And if I may just play devil's advocate. Go. Yeah, please do. His connections with Musk can be worrying. I know Musk has done some good things in the past.

[00:50:53] But he has talked about the HB1 visas and his desire to bring more immigration in for his company. For Indians in particular, which is a problematic group. And like I said, a lot of the tech HQs are setting up camps in Texas.

[00:51:18] And it's just, demographically, it's a really difficult state to live in. So the Musk connection, I'm not as excited about it as a lot of other right-wingers. Well, in Memphis, if you see an Indian person, they're basically running a convenience store slash grocery store. But we don't have a lot of high-tech here in Memphis. But we're the no-tell motels. Or a no-tell motel, yeah.

[00:51:49] Well, I mean, Lacey, you very well may be proven right. You don't have long odds to being right. And I'm not saying that you would be right and we would be wrong. I mean, this is just... Listen, this is a balanced conversation. This is the other side of it. And I think, you know, again, even our friends at Dixie Republic last week were saying this. I really loved what Mance Jolly said last week in talking about he is the, you know, the sheepdog. And the sheep have their new ram and they're frolicking, but he's looking out for the wolf.

[00:52:19] And listen, this is the way we have to be. We have to be eternally vigilant. Right. Nothing has been won yet. And I'm not saying that it's not going to work out. I hope that it does. But I, you know, again, this policy looks promising.

[00:52:40] And once we handle illegal immigration and we kind of stop the, the, what was it, Ann Coulter who said something about, I think it was Ann Coulter a while ago, said, you know, if your bathtub is overflowing, you need to turn off the faucet first. And, you know, if the faucet is running, we've got too much illegal immigration.

[00:53:05] And once we turn off the faucet, then we can deal with, I guess, the overflowing bathtub. Because we've got just too many people, period. This is insane. I mean, I, we go to, we go to church. We go to the grocery store. We go to our kids' activities. And the streets are so crowded. Every place is so crowded.

[00:53:30] You can't even go to the mall these days without being concerned of, I'm sorry, what? No, I was just saying that's right. Yeah, everything's. I think you've got a real special case down in Texas. Crowded. You've got it worse in Texas than most everybody else. Seconds remaining, but you're right. It's crowded. It's congested. I see that all the time now. Much more crowded than it was when I was a teenager or a kid. And it's unsafe. It makes it dangerous to get out.

[00:53:57] Listen, Lacey, I appreciate what you brought to the program tonight very much. It has to be. We need all sides of this thing. And thank you, Lacey, for, as always, coming on the program, Christmas, Valentine's Day, throughout the year. And making a great contribution. Listen, you love her voice. And you hear it on the program. You've heard it with ads for the Conservative Citizens Foundation. She voiced our Christmas fundraising ad back in December.

[00:54:27] She's got a new ad coming up for the Occidental Quarterly that we're about to get out to the rotation. So, more Lacey to come. She is like the lead corso of our show. He said, now, wait a minute now. I think Janice may continue on that in the next segment. But, Lacey, thank you so much. Happy Valentine's Day. Best to you and your family. Talk to you again soon. Bye-bye. Bye.
