Radio Show Hour 2 – 2024/11/23

Still riding high in the wake of Kamala’s defeat, Rick Tyler provides a recap of the recent American Renaissance conference before James Edwards and Keith Alexander look ahead to the coming Christmas season on TPC.

[00:00:01] You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network, and this is The Political Cesspool.

[00:00:12] The Political Cesspool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost populist conservative radio program.

[00:00:21] And here to guide you through the murky waters of The Political Cesspool is your host, James Edwards.

[00:00:30] God Almighty, it has been a busy year on this program.

[00:00:34] Never enough time, never before, even all the years we've been on the radio, have I felt so pressed for time just week after week,

[00:00:43] having to reschedule guests, shorten interviews, move people around, because there's just been so much news.

[00:00:51] There's been so much going on and so many people that we want to talk to and that we need to talk to.

[00:00:59] And speaking of great guests and speaking of Russia, and I tell you what, it might be time for a return appearance for Christine Lynn sooner rather than later

[00:01:10] with the onset of the escalation that we've seen since last week.

[00:01:14] She was on in the third hour of last week to talk about Russia and just did a great job in her debut appearance,

[00:01:21] and she's actually tuned in tonight.

[00:01:23] And she emailed us, James, wow, loved hearing David Duke, such passionate, articulate truth about the enemies of Christ.

[00:01:30] And her email goes on.

[00:01:32] We won't read it all, but we would like to have her back, maybe have her and David together even,

[00:01:37] because this thing going on in Russia is going to continue to go on until it doesn't.

[00:01:42] And by the time that happens, it's either going to be very good or very bad news.

[00:01:46] So we'll keep an eye on it, that's for sure.

[00:01:47] But one thing we want to talk about is last week's American Renaissance Conference.

[00:01:52] This is a perfect example of what I was talking about.

[00:01:55] Normally we might be at AMREN, but I was out of town two weeks ago tonight

[00:02:02] at the Southern Nationalist League meeting with Michael Hill in Linden, Tennessee.

[00:02:07] And then the last three days I have been in New Orleans, woke up this morning in New Orleans

[00:02:12] and made a beeline back to Memphis, got back into the studio about 30 minutes before showtime,

[00:02:17] and it was just a mad dash and scramble.

[00:02:19] But it was a necessary trip and an important trip,

[00:02:22] and we got a lot of work done behind the scenes down there with David,

[00:02:25] and just really had a good time, which we'll talk a little bit more about that later.

[00:02:30] But anyway, with all of the travel, there just wasn't enough time to get up to AMREN last week,

[00:02:35] and we had a busy show last week nonetheless.

[00:02:38] But we do want to report on it, and we want folks to hear a recap.

[00:02:43] And of all the people that we could have maybe called to provide that recap,

[00:02:47] I wanted to go with Rick Tyler because I think Rick Tyler is just such an eloquent wordsmith

[00:02:54] when it comes to breaking down what he's seen, what he's heard, what's going on,

[00:02:59] that it just really couldn't be improved upon.

[00:03:01] We're going to have Jared back on before Christmas as well to talk about other issues.

[00:03:05] So that opened the door for Rick to come back,

[00:03:07] and any reason to have Rick on is a good reason indeed.

[00:03:12] So, Rick, with all that having been said, welcome back.

[00:03:14] How are you?

[00:03:15] Thank you, James.

[00:03:16] And any reason to be on is reason enough.

[00:03:19] It's always an honor and a privilege,

[00:03:20] and can't wait to talk a little bit about the exciting event this past weekend

[00:03:25] at AMREN at the Montgomery Bell State Park outside of Nashville.

[00:03:29] It was a great event, James.

[00:03:31] Well, what was the mood?

[00:03:33] This is key.

[00:03:33] That's the key question.

[00:03:34] The main thing, is it hopeful?

[00:03:36] Is it guarded?

[00:03:38] Is it, you know, I know that one of the things that Gregory Hood said was that

[00:03:42] we should look at this not as a liberation but as a stay of execution, basically,

[00:03:48] and that we need to get real busy to make the most out of the time that we have

[00:03:52] in the upcoming Trump administration.

[00:03:55] I think Rick is perfectly suited to answer that question,

[00:03:59] and that's why I'm so interested to get to this because, of course, Rick,

[00:04:01] we're talking to a lot of people on the radio, but you were in the midst of between

[00:04:05] two and three hundred like-minded people last week.

[00:04:08] What is their reaction to Trump's election?

[00:04:10] Is it a sense of relief?

[00:04:12] Is it elation?

[00:04:13] Is there wind in the sails?

[00:04:14] Tell us everything.

[00:04:15] Or is it skepticism?

[00:04:17] Well, I think it's obviously there's always a healthy amount of skepticism no matter what.

[00:04:21] And in times like these, a stay of the execution is certainly something to cheer about.

[00:04:26] But overall, the mood and the attitude, just the ethos and the aura of the event

[00:04:35] was more decisively tilted toward positivism, towards positivity, towards optimism

[00:04:43] than anything that I have seen in a long time.

[00:04:45] And I believe that's because of what one of the participants at the event, who is with

[00:04:50] Arctos, brother Konstantin from Germany, he has authored a book called Esoteric Trump.

[00:04:57] And there is something about Donald Trump.

[00:05:00] He is larger than life, to say the least.

[00:05:03] There is nobody on the horizon that could even remotely fill his shoes when it comes to charisma.

[00:05:09] Now, having said that, I want to always remind everybody that I personally believe that Trump is

[00:05:15] what we would call controlled opposition, even if it's largely unwitting on his part.

[00:05:20] But as I've consistently said, this is going to buy us time.

[00:05:24] And I think everybody realized that.

[00:05:26] Everybody was kind of in the back of their mind, ready for the possibility of another election being stolen,

[00:05:32] of the humiliation, the degradation, the absolute absurdity of a president, Kamala Harris,

[00:05:38] and all that that would entail.

[00:05:39] Everybody was kind of psychologically at least a little bit prepared for that.

[00:05:43] And when that did not happen, even if it were the result of manipulation and just a choice not to steal the election,

[00:05:51] which some of us believe that might be the explanation, nevertheless, it's a relief.

[00:05:55] And that relief was infused into the mentality and mindset of the event.

[00:06:02] Sam Dixon even, you know, had a little bit of positivism.

[00:06:06] And I don't say that critically towards Sam.

[00:06:08] Sam always gives us a very much needed, healthy dose of realism.

[00:06:12] And he delights in juxtaposing himself against Jared, you know, who Sam claims, you know,

[00:06:18] tends to be overly, you know, generous towards our people and, you know,

[00:06:23] gives them more of the benefit of the doubt than they deserve.

[00:06:25] And it's actually kind of a little humorous side note to the events, always, to watch Jared and Sam interact,

[00:06:31] because they've been working together for so long, 30 years, in fact.

[00:06:35] All right.

[00:06:35] So are there any type of discussion about, since this is Trump's second term and he can't have a third,

[00:06:42] what, who and what type of successor are we looking for or looking at?

[00:06:50] I don't think anybody is even beginning to go that far, project that far forward.

[00:06:54] A little bit too far ahead.

[00:06:56] You know, just to survive the immediate onslaught, you know, against our people is big enough of a Herculean undertaking.

[00:07:04] And so I'm sure, you know, if asked, you know, and, you know, if anybody gave thought to it,

[00:07:09] they could certainly come up with some postulations and some conjectures.

[00:07:12] But as I said, I think everybody kind of instinctively realizes that Trump is a singularly unique political figure in the time that we're living in.

[00:07:22] Probably to find somebody even remotely akin to Trump, we'd have to go back to a Huey Long, a George Wallace in his prime.

[00:07:29] You know, there's nothing in our lifetimes like Trump.

[00:07:33] And Trump is a creation of this modern technological era.

[00:07:37] Obviously, his job on The Apprentice and his showmanship.

[00:07:41] He's just a person that, you know, that's different than everybody else.

[00:07:44] And much of it is in a positive sense.

[00:07:46] The things that people would complain about relative to Trump are actually his strengths,

[00:07:50] his ability to bowl people over and just, you know, absolutely take control of an interview.

[00:07:55] It doesn't matter which one of the liberal talking heads it happens to be, male or female, straight or gay, whatever.

[00:08:01] You know, seeing him handle Anderson Cooper, Jake Tapper, all of these people, it's sheer delight for us,

[00:08:08] even if we don't agree with everything that Trump says.

[00:08:11] All right.

[00:08:12] So, again, you're saying that being in the midst of, you know, let's call it 250 stalwarts of our movement,

[00:08:20] I mean, the people who show up for conferences and travel and pay,

[00:08:24] that the mood after Trump's election was generally positive and hopeful.

[00:08:29] I think you would say that at the very least.

[00:08:32] Definitely, very much so.

[00:08:34] And there, you know, was much talk in the breaks, you know, between speakers, you know,

[00:08:40] about what people are doing and what their plans are.

[00:08:42] And it wasn't a bunch of people hunkering down like preppers or doomsdayers, you know,

[00:08:47] trying to figure out what mine shaft they're going to take up residence in.

[00:08:50] But instead, the conversation, the discussions more centered on activism and plans and what people are working on.

[00:08:57] You know, one group that was represented there was this very young group, the Patriot Front.

[00:09:01] Thomas Rousseau is the very young, very impressive, capable leader of this group.

[00:09:06] And I personally talked to him and asked him, you know, what he was doing to go on the offensive against those who claim that he's working for the feds.

[00:09:13] And I was very delighted to see that he's very much on top of it.

[00:09:17] He's doing a lot.

[00:09:18] He's got a cadre of young men, you know, that are very diligent, very dedicated.

[00:09:22] And so that was emblematic to me of, you know, the youth representation.

[00:09:27] I know there are other things happening among the younger set, but I think that this group, the Patriot Front,

[00:09:32] has emerged out of all of the hardships of the last several years.

[00:09:36] And they are very, very organized, very dedicated, very intelligent, very strong.

[00:09:41] And also there was a sense of humility in this young man that I was impressed by.

[00:09:46] He was ready to listen to the wisdom of an elder.

[00:09:50] I got to tell you, I met him last year in Dallas.

[00:09:53] We were at an event together.

[00:09:55] And to say the least, there were no red flags.

[00:09:57] He seemed very sincere.

[00:09:58] And I had nothing but positive takeaways from that.

[00:10:01] I think one of the things we really need to watch for, Rick, is that the left always tries to choose our young emerging leadership for us,

[00:10:10] somebody like Milo Shinopoulos or Nick Fuentes or Ben Shapiro, people like this, that are, I think, you know, fifth columnists, actually.

[00:10:20] We need to find somebody that, you know, really is worthy of passing the torch to.

[00:10:28] Well, absolutely.

[00:10:29] And Milo, of course, I believe if we're talking about the same guy is, you know, homosexual.

[00:10:33] And then, of course, Ben Shapiro is, you know, hyper-Zionist, you know, Jewish handpicked by the establishment.

[00:10:40] Who, by the way, he was allowed to nudge out another Jew, Michael Savage, Michael Wiener.

[00:10:45] But at any rate, Nick Fuentes, I would rate him somewhat, quite a bit higher than the other two that we alluded to.

[00:10:51] But Rousseau, he's the real deal.

[00:10:53] All right.

[00:10:53] Hold on right there, my friend.

[00:10:55] And Rick Tyler back with us for one more segment right after this as we continue his recap of the American Renaissance Conference.

[00:11:02] Hey there, TBC fans.

[00:11:04] It's your friend Lacey Lynn here with a quick word about the Conservative Citizens Foundation.

[00:11:08] The mission of the Conservative Citizens Foundation is to promote the principles of limited government, law and order, judicial restraint, and states' rights,

[00:11:17] while at the same time exploring the dangers posed by liberalism to our cultural institutions.

[00:11:22] The Conservative Citizens Foundation also seeks to educate the public on the dangers of extremist ideologies like critical race theory and cultural Marxism.

[00:11:30] The Conservative Citizens Foundation has partnered with this program for many years and their work comes with our highest endorsement.

[00:12:06] And we want to help protect your liberty too.

[00:12:09] Become part of the family.

[00:12:10] Everyone knows that the core of any society is the family.

[00:12:14] Therefore, the government should foster and protect the integrity of its family.

[00:12:19] We the people.

[00:12:19] Won't you join us as a Loving Liberty sponsor to help us promote the principles in the 5,000-year leap?

[00:12:26] Let's restore the miracle that changed the world at lovingliberty.net.

[00:12:31] As you are aware, America is divided over every fault line possible.

[00:12:35] This is intentionally fostered by those who do not love God, family, or country.

[00:12:39] We believe a peaceful future as a free people absolutely depends on civility.

[00:12:44] Clarion Call for Civility is looking for funding and volunteers at every level to make our hopes and efforts a reality.

[00:12:58] CallForCivility.com

[00:13:00] I certainly would have liked to be amongst my friends at Amrant last week to see Rick in person.

[00:13:18] It's always a treasure, but it has been a really ambitious travel schedule for us here at TPC this year.

[00:13:25] It seems like we've certainly been out of town at least every month and sometimes consecutive weeks,

[00:13:31] and it's just been almost nonstop travel this year, which is good.

[00:13:34] We've been staying busy and networking with a lot of different groups,

[00:13:37] and you want to be almost too busy to handle it all.

[00:13:40] But I talked to Kyle Rogers today.

[00:13:42] One of the things that helped me on my trip to and from New Orleans,

[00:13:45] he gave me six hours in the car there and six hours in the car on the way back,

[00:13:48] 12 hours total, to catch up on some phone calls and people who I've been needing to get back to.

[00:13:54] And I did that.

[00:13:57] I was on the phone for about 12 hours in the car the last couple of days.

[00:14:00] And anyway, talked to Kyle Rogers with the Conservative Citizens Foundation.

[00:14:04] I know he and Linda Baum and just so many others that we know and love and respect and work with were there.

[00:14:11] And anyway, we're talking about it right now.

[00:14:14] So I think you said, Rick, certainly there was a sense of positivity and hopefulness in the air,

[00:14:21] whereas I think surely if Kamala Harris and Tim Walls had been elected, there would have been a sense of foreboding.

[00:14:28] But now let's talk about some of the speakers.

[00:14:31] Obviously, the closer at all the AMREN conferences, our friend and brother Sam Dixon.

[00:14:37] There was Anthony Cumia, radio guy.

[00:14:39] We know he's been on this show, Gregory Hood, who is becoming a mainstay at AMREN, obviously on the staff there.

[00:14:47] But I think he's spoken at three or four in a row now.

[00:14:49] And, well, just many others who spoke.

[00:14:52] I'm sure there wasn't a bad speech, Jared Taylor himself, obviously.

[00:14:56] But who were the speakers who personally to you really stood out?

[00:15:02] Well, you know, Jared, of course, did something that he normally doesn't do.

[00:15:05] Jared always is the emcee, and he always introduces the event, but he moves quickly to calling speakers up.

[00:15:12] But Jared gave the opening address at this AMREN event.

[00:15:16] And, of course, Jared is someone that is spellbinding to listen to his eloquence and his intelligence are amazing.

[00:15:26] And then when you couple with that, his obvious dedication to the cause to which he has committed his life.

[00:15:33] Jared could have written his own ticket in this world.

[00:15:35] We all know that.

[00:15:36] He's a man of just towering giftedness and intellect.

[00:15:40] But Jared opened up with an initial address, and it was very fitting.

[00:15:45] I'm sure, in part, his choice to do that and the things he had to say did hinge on the outcome of the election.

[00:15:54] Because while Jared has no illusions about Trump, he obviously realized that it was a very positive thing for us for the election to go that way.

[00:16:03] So, you know, Jared's speech was great, but then he introduced Professor Wax, who is a law professor and a woman, obviously, of a certain ethnicity.

[00:16:15] But a woman, nevertheless, who has stood mightily in the face of the horrific persecution that she has undergone on her campus, even as a tenured professor.

[00:16:25] And Jared talked about the times that he's been invited in numerous times to speak to her class.

[00:16:31] And she unashamedly and brazedly stands up to all of the protesters and the people in her class actually very much enjoy his lectures, what he has to say.

[00:16:41] But then he talked about the firsthand account of how this rather diminutive woman, instead of cowering in fear from the protesters that gather like evil hordes around events that she sponsors bringing Jared onto campus,

[00:16:57] she goes right up in their face and starts taking their pictures.

[00:17:00] So this woman has gumption.

[00:17:02] She's got guts.

[00:17:04] She's got, you know, incredible courage.

[00:17:06] And she's a very, very brilliant analyst of the circumstances that, you know, represent the woes and prevails.

[00:17:13] She's a Jewish version of Virginia Abernathy, I think.

[00:17:16] Yes.

[00:17:17] You know, I thought much of Virginia Abernathy.

[00:17:19] I thought of her while I was listening to Professor Wax speak.

[00:17:22] And she was very attentive throughout, you know, the entire conference and, you know, got up to the mic and asked questions of other speakers.

[00:17:29] She was very engaged.

[00:17:31] And so, you know, her presence there, you know, was a very positive addition to the conference.

[00:17:35] I'll say this about that, Rick.

[00:17:37] I was speaking at an event, and Sam and Jared were both speakers at this particular event, too, in Alabama a couple of months ago, late summer.

[00:17:47] It was just one of the many events we've been to this year, but it was a very good one.

[00:17:50] And Jared told me, it gave me an in-depth accounting of the price that this woman has paid for standing by him when it is all too easy for even so many men to just buckle at the first threat of trouble.

[00:18:08] This woman has been sanctioned by the university.

[00:18:10] She's lost out on a lot of money for this, but she never apologized.

[00:18:13] She never backed down and continues to not only work with Jared, but obviously even in the aftermath of all of this punishment,

[00:18:19] her university has inflicted upon her traveling down to Nashville to speak.

[00:18:24] That's just – that's actually something we can certainly learn from.

[00:18:27] A lot of our men should learn from this.

[00:18:31] Yes, indeed.

[00:18:31] And, you know, she did set a great example in that regard.

[00:18:35] Also the fact that, you know, she – I don't believe there's a professing convert to Christianity,

[00:18:41] but she spoke in a way that gave you the impression that she was very favorably inclined to the Christian heritage

[00:18:47] and foundation of this nation.

[00:18:49] So she's one of those, you know, very distinct minority among the Jewish people, you know, that see things through a correct lens by and large.

[00:18:59] And when it comes from them –

[00:19:00] The Jews always seem to like to own both sides of each coin, but she, I think, is authentic.

[00:19:08] And it's – you know, we need to encourage that.

[00:19:11] On the other hand, we need to encourage more white Gentiles to have positions of prominence, I think, in the movement as well.

[00:19:19] Well, in any – I think in our movement it's just about all there is.

[00:19:22] But the – yes, I mean, when you have righteous people, regardless of who they may be or what they may be –

[00:19:30] I mean, we – Jesse Lee Peterson, another example, you work with them and you're thankful for them.

[00:19:36] It's a blessing that they are honest and willing to do these things.

[00:19:40] So anyway, but Rick, getting back to the conference at large, just other takeaways with a few minutes remaining this segment.

[00:19:47] And thank you for coming on and sharing with us your assessment of this event.

[00:19:51] Just other takeaways, things you saw, things you heard either on the podium or in some of the lively breakout parties.

[00:19:56] Is there any type of strategy about how to go about, now that we have some power, putting it to good use?

[00:20:05] Well, I think a lot of people are trying to formulate strategies to take advantage of the fact that there could be some wind in our sails.

[00:20:12] And I would go so far as to say I don't know that other people are thinking in this vein in particular,

[00:20:17] but I think that when the Trump era ends, as we know it will, there's going to be a huge vacuum.

[00:20:22] And we should definitely be gearing up to try to fill whatever portion of that vacuum that we have the potential to step into.

[00:20:30] Because, again, there's not going to be anybody like Donald Trump to be able to step into, fill his shoes.

[00:20:37] Concerning the attorney general situation you all were talking about in the last segment,

[00:20:41] I think Trump probably figures that to get confirmation of a controversial person, Matt Gaetz was a white man.

[00:20:49] Pam Bondi, she's a white woman.

[00:20:51] And being a woman, they will have to go easier on her as far as scathingly attacking her in a Senate confirmation.

[00:20:57] So probably he has decided that that's the best route to go.

[00:21:01] Also, as a woman, she will.

[00:21:03] James, I think you hit the nail on the head.

[00:21:04] She will be easier for Trump to exert his influence on.

[00:21:08] And why shouldn't she?

[00:21:09] Like David said in the last segment, they're the ones that started this type of rules of the game, if you will.

[00:21:17] And, you know, Eric Holder, you know, was clearly Obama's wingman.

[00:21:21] It's always in a liberal Marxist administration just a given that the attorney general is going to do the bidding of the president.

[00:21:28] It's only when there's a conservative Republican that all of a sudden he's supposed to be like Jeff Sessions.

[00:21:34] Exactly.

[00:21:34] Yes, exactly.

[00:21:36] Well, and I'll tell you, above and beyond even that, and she has shown a willingness to do Trump's bidding.

[00:21:44] And I think, again, you want those type of people in your administration.

[00:21:47] What do you want?

[00:21:48] You want to put in recalcitrants?

[00:21:50] You want to put in Democrats who are going to oppose you?

[00:21:52] Why would you do that?

[00:21:53] Well, the thing with Gates is kind of like Jeff Sessions.

[00:21:56] I wish that neither one of them had had to give up their position in Congress.

[00:21:59] Well, I talked to Steve.

[00:22:00] And then, you know, wind up not getting the, you know, the power of being, you know, the actual attorney general.

[00:22:08] We need, you know, we need to pass over people that have positions in Congress.

[00:22:13] Nothing he could have done because you have four Republican senators who were not going to vote to confirm him, and that was it.

[00:22:18] So that, you know, you can't do anything about those people.

[00:22:21] That's because of who's taking over the Senate.

[00:22:23] If Rick Scott, for instance, had won the secret vote instead of John Foon, then probably it would have been a different story.

[00:22:30] But I don't think Gates is finished.

[00:22:31] And he's not – he could resume his congressional seat in January, but he's choosing not to.

[00:22:36] And so I think that there's something being planned.

[00:22:39] Oh, he's going to land on his feet somewhere.

[00:22:41] And I talked to Steve King on Wednesday, and he was saying, you know, maybe Trump nominated him all along to give him a safe exit out of Congress before this thing could end and to make it easier for his second choice, which was maybe his real choice all along.

[00:22:55] This is just speculation, of course, but, you know, it's an interesting theory.

[00:22:59] But in any event, you have not heard the last of Matt Gates.

[00:23:02] I think that's for sure.

[00:23:05] Absolutely.

[00:23:06] And he's uniquely gifted as well.

[00:23:09] What about that Carly woman from Arizona?

[00:23:12] Carrie Lake.

[00:23:13] Carrie Lake.

[00:23:14] Have we heard the last of her, or is she going to somehow sneak into the administration?

[00:23:19] Well, she should be the press secretary, in my opinion.

[00:23:23] Interesting.

[00:23:24] Interesting.

[00:23:24] Well, in the meantime, you still have some things kind of reversing course in the wake of Trump's win.

[00:23:32] Miss Universe is actually a woman this year.

[00:23:34] That's big.

[00:23:35] And she's actually a blonde there.

[00:23:36] What an innovation.

[00:23:38] A blonde-haired, blue-eyed bombshell from Denmark, I believe.

[00:23:41] Yet Elon Musk, who's basically sort of advising Trump on who to put into some of these positions, saying the SPLC is a criminal racket on Twitter.

[00:23:51] We ought to use RICO laws against the SPLC.

[00:23:53] Well, we'll see if they want to go after organizations like that.

[00:23:57] And Marjorie Taylor Greene, even, a few days ago saying, hey, yeah, we won, but let's still talk about national divorce.

[00:24:02] So a lot of good things happening out there, Rick.

[00:24:05] Ancillary to, you know, what we've been focused on the last three weeks, which is the win and how the administration is shaping up.

[00:24:12] But with just seconds remaining, final word from Amrin.

[00:24:15] It's all yours, my friend.

[00:24:17] Well, Amrin, the American Renaissance Conference, 30 years history, 21 conferences.

[00:24:24] Clearly, I don't think anybody could gainsay the position that this is the premier conference of our movement.

[00:24:31] And Jared Taylor never fails to deliver.

[00:24:34] It was a great conference.

[00:24:36] And I think it set the stage for much more bigger, better, greater things to happen amongst our ranks.

[00:24:43] A year from now, we've got to go to a break next year.

[00:24:48] It'll be interesting to see where we are.

[00:24:49] We'll be right back.

[00:24:50] Thank you, Rick Tyler.

[00:24:51] Your daily Liberty Newswire.

[00:24:54] You're listening to Liberty News Radio.

[00:24:59] Hi, everyone.

[00:25:01] If you or someone you know were diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma within the past 20 years, listen up.

[00:25:07] Because you could be entitled to significant cash compensation.

[00:25:11] For years, the weed killer Roundup was used in homes, farms, and gardens.

[00:25:17] And now studies have proven a direct link between Roundup and this deadly cancer.

[00:25:22] So if you or someone you know have been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma,

[00:25:26] call us and find out if you qualify for a cash settlement.

[00:25:30] 800-842-6060.

[00:25:32] That's 800-842-6060.

[00:25:35] Time to file a claim is running out, so don't delay.

[00:25:38] The call is free, the consultation is free, and you can find out if you qualify for a monetary award.

[00:25:44] Call 800-842-6060.

[00:25:47] That's 800-842-6060.

[00:25:51] 800-842-6060.

[00:25:54] Call now.

[00:25:55] Apertension sponsored by Legal Help Center may not be available in all states.

[00:26:01] Not something you would expect to find in Major League Baseball,

[00:26:05] but the Tampa Bay Rays may not have a home.

[00:26:08] The St. Petersburg City Council has reversed course on whether to spend more than $23 million

[00:26:13] to repair the hurricane-shredded roof of the Tampa Bay Rays ballpark.

[00:26:17] The council initially voted Thursday to approve the repair and later changed its mind.

[00:26:22] The reversal came after the council voted to delay consideration of revenue bonds

[00:26:27] for a proposed new $1.3 billion raised ballpark.

[00:26:31] Just two days before, the Pinellas County Commission postponed a vote on its share of the new stadium bonds,

[00:26:38] leaving that project in limbo.

[00:26:40] Keith Peters reporting.

[00:26:41] Most people taking popular drugs like Ozempic and Magovi to lose weight have shed a few pounds,

[00:26:48] but obesity experts say roughly 20% of patients may not see robust results with the new medications.

[00:26:56] Breaking news and analysis, townhall.com.

[00:27:01] In New Hampshire, a company is working to develop autonomous helicopters.

[00:27:07] There are hopes the helicopters could put out fires, spray crops, and handle other dangerous jobs.

[00:27:12] Rotor Technologies has built two of the autonomous helicopters, starting running test flights,

[00:27:18] and plans a demonstration of the helicopter at an agriculture trade show in Texas.

[00:27:22] The company hoping to sell as many as 20 of the small helicopters next year,

[00:27:27] most of which would be used by farmers to spray fields with pesticides and fertilizers.

[00:27:32] The company counting on getting FAA approval by next year.

[00:27:35] John Scott reporting.

[00:27:36] You might wish you had a chopper to get around later this week.

[00:27:41] Thanksgiving, of course, always an extremely busy time.

[00:27:45] Transportation Security Administration says more than 18 million people are expected to be flying during the holiday period.

[00:27:54] More on these stories at townhall.com.

[00:27:57] God tells us in Hebrews 10.25 that we should gather together to worship him.

[00:28:05] This isn't a request.

[00:28:06] It is a command.

[00:28:07] Going to church isn't an option.

[00:28:09] It is your Christian duty.

[00:28:10] With the hellish apostasy of mainstream churches,

[00:28:14] attending church these days can be difficult.

[00:28:16] That is why your King James only traditional services in the ancient church of St. Mary Magdalene are live online.

[00:28:24] And I invite you to gather with our congregation to study God's Holy Word.

[00:28:28] Join us every Sunday at thetemplarchurch.com.

[00:28:33] And especially on the first Sunday of the month for Holy Communion.

[00:28:36] This do in remembrance of me is also a command that all Christians must obey.

[00:28:41] I'm Reverend Jim Dowson, ordained Puritan minister, nationalist and a veteran pro-life campaigner.

[00:28:47] Tune in to my weekly sermons at thetemplarchurch.com.

[00:28:52] Based in Ireland, this old-time religion is the faith that built America.

[00:28:57] God bless you.

[00:29:00] Hey, y'all.

[00:29:01] Do you enjoy great-tasting coffee but are tired of supporting companies that hate you?

[00:29:05] If so, let me tell you about Above Time Coffee.

[00:29:08] Above Time Coffee is a privately owned and operated small business.

[00:29:11] They hand-roast coffee and ship it to customers throughout the United States and abroad.

[00:29:15] Above Time Coffee was launched because they saw a need for more pro-white businesses serving our people.

[00:29:20] The time has come to take our own side.

[00:29:23] And did I mention their coffee tastes great?

[00:29:25] It's the best coffee I've ever tasted.

[00:29:27] When James brought home a sample from a conference, I was hooked and threw out all the other brands.

[00:29:32] I think you will too after you make an order at AboveTimeCoffee.com.

[00:29:36] Living a healthy and active lifestyle is important to us.

[00:29:49] It's the only coffee we drink at the Edwards Home.

[00:29:52] Delicious coffee.

[00:29:53] A company that serves the interests of our people.

[00:29:55] Check out their selection today at AboveTimeCoffee.com.

[00:30:10] Well, welcome back, everybody.

[00:30:12] Busy show so far tonight.

[00:30:14] We're halfway through.

[00:30:15] Already three guests, each taking two segments apiece.

[00:30:19] David Duke opening the show tonight, followed by David Zutty.

[00:30:23] And then, of course, Rick Tyler for the first half of this hour talking about the Ameren Conference.

[00:30:29] Of course, we wanted to have Rick on from the floor last week.

[00:30:32] But we got so busy with Christine and Ethan Ralph.

[00:30:36] And there was so much post-election news to cover in the first hour that we decided to,

[00:30:43] instead of trying to shoehorn that in, we would have Rick on tonight for a little bit longer.

[00:30:48] And that's exactly what we did.

[00:30:49] And it's still fresh news.

[00:30:52] That conference was only just last week.

[00:30:54] And we couldn't be there because of our ambitious travel schedule.

[00:30:58] But good to hear good people doing well.

[00:31:02] And I heard the Antelope Hill folks were there.

[00:31:04] Our good friends.

[00:31:04] As a matter of fact, Taylor Young for Antelope Hill.

[00:31:08] Are you ready for this, Keith?

[00:31:09] I don't know.

[00:31:11] Well, Thanksgiving's on Thursday.

[00:31:12] That's, you know, first of all.

[00:31:15] So that means our very next show, the first Saturday after Thanksgiving,

[00:31:18] we'll kick off the always magical and inspiring Christmas season here on TPC.

[00:31:26] And with all of that great music that we feature.

[00:31:32] And to kick it off next week will be Taylor Young of Antelope Hill and Brett McAtee, Pastor Brett.

[00:31:39] You know, he always gives the Christmas message on the last Saturday before Christmas.

[00:31:44] But he's going to be bookending the Christmas season on TPC this year,

[00:31:49] opening and closing the Christmas season.

[00:31:52] Closing it, of course, with his traditional Christmas message in the last hour we have before Christmas.

[00:31:58] But next week with Taylor Young, he'll be appearing to kick off the Christmas season

[00:32:02] by talking about a book that is offered by Antelope Hill, the Faith and Heritage compilation.

[00:32:09] And our friends at Faith and Heritage, that great Christian nationalist webzine for so many years.

[00:32:15] Yeah, right, the one that's passed on.

[00:32:17] But it still has this book.

[00:32:19] But its memory lingers on.

[00:32:21] And they will be talking about it next week.

[00:32:23] So we look forward to that.

[00:32:24] There's still so many people we need to get to before the end of the year

[00:32:27] and so many things to talk about.

[00:32:29] But it is going to be fun.

[00:32:30] And we're going to be kicking off the Christmas season next week,

[00:32:33] which means we will be kicking off our Christmas fundraising drive.

[00:32:37] And so I mentioned, well, Rick was telling us in the last break when we were off the air

[00:32:42] that the Antelope Hill guys were there.

[00:32:44] Of course, Countercurrent, Cyan.

[00:32:45] I mean, we know and love all of these people.

[00:32:47] They were all there as booksellers at Amran

[00:32:50] and just really sort of added to the entire experience.

[00:32:53] But I called Constantine with Above Time Coffee,

[00:32:57] which Above Time Coffee and Antelope Hill are related organizations.

[00:33:01] The same people run them both, basically.

[00:33:05] And we're going to have a lot of coffee to give away during our Christmas fundraising drive.

[00:33:10] And these hats, we didn't get a chance to talk about that because we had to move so quickly with David.

[00:33:19] We took David Duke and David Zutty.

[00:33:21] Both originally were scheduled to be on for an hour.

[00:33:23] We had to pare them down to 30 minutes apiece.

[00:33:26] But I was down in New Orleans for a couple of reasons.

[00:33:29] But one of them was to get these hats.

[00:33:32] So what we've got, and this is going to be part of our Christmas fundraising drive, too.

[00:33:35] We're not going to tell you everything we're going to be putting on offer.

[00:33:37] But I can tell you this.

[00:33:40] These David Duke for Senate hats.

[00:33:42] These are the original hats from the 1990 campaign.

[00:33:46] They have a retro look to them, folks.

[00:33:48] But they're, well, probably, Keith, because they're high quality.

[00:33:52] They're cloth hats.

[00:33:54] They're not nylon or plastic or whatever.

[00:33:56] The printing block they use, too, looks very retro.

[00:33:59] But if you actually examine them, it is a fully cloth hat.

[00:34:04] But what's so unique is that these are collector's items, basically.

[00:34:07] And David just had, you know, still a few boxes of them in storage.

[00:34:12] This is from the 1990 Senate campaign.

[00:34:14] That was an absolutely historic campaign where David Duke was within a couple of points

[00:34:20] from becoming a United States senator in 1990.

[00:34:23] No one else with his profile in our movement has gotten that close.

[00:34:29] So this is a real piece of history.

[00:34:31] It is.

[00:34:32] So to have a hat from the original 1990 campaign.

[00:34:36] And I went down there, and none of these were signed.

[00:34:39] We said just last night, about 24 hours ago, if you're listening live,

[00:34:44] at about 7 o'clock on Friday night.

[00:34:46] It's 7.30 here now, about 7.40 on Saturday night, if you're listening live.

[00:34:52] 24 hours ago, almost to the minute, I was sitting at this nice table in this antebellum home

[00:34:59] owned by a friend of his that we were actually down there in June for his birthday.

[00:35:03] We did a three-hour remote broadcast, which is really one of the best shows we've done all year.

[00:35:09] Certainly one of the most memorable.

[00:35:11] But we were back at this house, and we were at this table, and we put Brother Duke to work.

[00:35:16] And he sat and he signed each of these hats.

[00:35:19] And we have them all lined up now in the studio.

[00:35:21] They're like little soldiers, just ready to go in their box and be shipped out to those who respond to our Christmas fundraising drive.

[00:35:28] Now, we'll give you the full details next week.

[00:35:31] We're going to send out a letter the first Monday of December.

[00:35:35] That's going to be our quarterly appeal.

[00:35:37] And it's going to give you some news about what we've been doing behind the scenes.

[00:35:41] And it's going to list all of our incentive gifts.

[00:35:44] But I can tell you this.

[00:35:45] One of them will be these hats, which I personally witnessed David Duke sign each and every one of them last night.

[00:35:54] And they're going to be going out to people who can contribute at a certain level.

[00:35:58] And it will be reasonable.

[00:36:00] But I'm telling you, each one of these things is a collector's item.

[00:36:05] And you'll want this piece of history.

[00:36:06] That will only grow in value as time goes on.

[00:36:09] Yeah.

[00:36:09] It would be second only to a George Wallace for president.

[00:36:12] You know what?

[00:36:13] I would say maybe, yeah.

[00:36:15] I think you'd put it on par with we've given away a lot of signed Buchanan material over the years.

[00:36:20] But, yeah, I think Pat and George Wallace and, you know, for our side, David Duke.

[00:36:26] You know, yeah, if you could get a bunch of George Wallace signed stuff, that would be unique.

[00:36:29] But this is, yeah, this is comparable to what you're saying, Keith.

[00:36:33] And they look good.

[00:36:34] Do they not?

[00:36:35] They're all clean.

[00:36:35] They look like they were just.

[00:36:36] They are high quality.

[00:36:38] They're not the quality that you get now with mesh and stuff like this.

[00:36:42] This is, you know, this is a high quality production.

[00:36:46] And David had, I can't remember what his beverage was last night.

[00:36:50] But we had this wonderful hostess and her husband who are just amazing people.

[00:36:55] And we were at their house again, and we spent a few days there this summer, too.

[00:37:00] But she was feeding us and, you know, providing us with some nice beverages.

[00:37:08] And David had his glass, and he was signing, signing, signing, signing.

[00:37:12] It took quite a while to sign them all.

[00:37:15] But sign them all he did, and he didn't even take a shortcut.

[00:37:19] He went the whole mile, nice, full signatures, no scribbles, as you get with some of these modern-day celebrities and athletes.

[00:37:27] But anyway, so be on the lookout.

[00:37:29] In a few days, we will send out that TPC Christmas mailer.

[00:37:34] And if you want one of these hats, you should want one.

[00:37:38] You should want one.

[00:37:39] It's a piece of history no matter what.

[00:37:41] But much more so than that.

[00:37:43] Hand signed by one of our heroes and friends.

[00:37:46] Well, it's important that we not run from the people that basically open things up for us, like David Duke, like George Wallace, like Blowtorch Mason down in Mississippi in 64.

[00:37:59] All of these people, that type of memorabilia needs to be valued by our people.

[00:38:04] It certainly does.

[00:38:06] And these you can't get anywhere else.

[00:38:08] Not even on his own website does he offer signed hats.

[00:38:10] But he was, you know, happy to do it for TPC.

[00:38:13] And I got to tell you again, I know I mentioned this sort of quickly in the first hour when we had him on.

[00:38:20] But I was down there for a couple of days.

[00:38:24] And we went and we were walking on the lakefront there in Old Mandeville, Louisiana, across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans.

[00:38:33] It's just such a beautiful, it's really like Key West.

[00:38:36] It has very much a Key West vibe in so much as you have a lot of shops and local restaurants interspersed amongst the housing.

[00:38:47] It's, you know, a mixed area.

[00:38:49] It's got a retro feel to it.

[00:38:49] It does.

[00:38:50] And it's just a wonderful atmosphere right there by the lake.

[00:38:53] And people are jogging and riding their bikes.

[00:38:56] And it's all white.

[00:38:58] And we were down there.

[00:38:59] And when David goes into a restaurant, all the wait staff comes and says hello.

[00:39:03] And they give him the best table overlooking the lake.

[00:39:06] And it's Mr. Duke this and, you know, sir that.

[00:39:09] He's a celebrity.

[00:39:10] Yeah, he went.

[00:39:11] And rightfully so is he.

[00:39:13] But down there, I am telling you, in his neck of the woods, he had a couple of people come up to him when we were there and recognize him.

[00:39:20] And got recognized walking out of the restaurant.

[00:39:23] It's just great.

[00:39:24] And he deserves it.

[00:39:25] And he really is a legend.

[00:39:27] I mean, a guy like that with he's never backed down.

[00:39:31] And those elections, I mean, to the story about when they sent him to the federal penitentiary on that income tax thing, he wound up being the king of the place down there.

[00:39:40] That's right.

[00:39:41] All of the regular.

[00:39:42] All the blacks loved him.

[00:39:44] And that's what you just wouldn't know how genuine and good of a guy like even tonight when he comes on.

[00:39:49] He's very intense, very passionate.

[00:39:52] And rightly so.

[00:39:53] But last night, I'm telling you, last night around midnight, we were at his house and we were singing.

[00:39:59] And we had a friend over who was playing the piano.

[00:40:02] And David was dancing and doing the robot.

[00:40:04] And I tell you that because they do so much to dehumanize us.

[00:40:10] And especially him.

[00:40:11] But, you know, if you knew him, as I know him, he's just a real person.

[00:40:16] And that cannot be forgotten about.

[00:40:18] He's a personable person, unlike these leftist people, you know, that are really, you know, like the people at the SPLC.

[00:40:24] You know, can you imagine them in a party atmosphere?

[00:40:29] No.

[00:40:29] Yeah.

[00:40:29] He loves life.

[00:40:30] He has a zest for life.

[00:40:32] He loves righteousness.

[00:40:33] And just a great guy.

[00:40:35] He will not back down.

[00:40:36] I mean, you know, certainly one of my best friends.

[00:40:39] And we've known him for all these years.

[00:40:41] But I just wish everybody had a chance.

[00:40:42] You get past the headlines and all the articles and all the defamation.

[00:40:46] And you just get to know him.

[00:40:47] I wish everybody could know him as I know him.

[00:40:49] I think you have an idea.

[00:40:50] But anyway, get a piece of American political history.

[00:40:56] The page of the rock.

[00:40:57] In our fourth quarter Christmas fundraising drive.

[00:41:00] We'll be right back.

[00:41:01] We're going to get back to topics.

[00:41:02] Stay tuned.

[00:41:02] It's common for politicians, major media outlets, and nonprofits to hype white on black murders aggressively.

[00:41:08] Or even claim that blacks are living in fear of white people.

[00:41:12] Lends for simply being black.

[00:41:14] Hard to believe, but that's what was done.

[00:41:17] And some people still want to do that.

[00:41:19] This is why National Conservative launched the Interracial Homicide Tracking Project.

[00:41:24] We have now documented well over 2,000 confirmed interracial homicides since January 2023.

[00:41:30] And created the most comprehensive overview of these killings anyone has ever made.

[00:41:35] We plug the gaping holes in data left by other homicide trackers and government crime stats.

[00:41:41] Rather than engaging in hyperbole and vitriolic rhetoric like everyone else,

[00:41:45] we are simply creating a massive sample size of empirical evidence so people can form rational and informed opinions about a sensitive and politically charged issue.

[00:41:55] Visit natcon.life.

[00:41:57] N-A-T-C-O-N dot L-I-F-E.

[00:42:02] If Planned Parenthood were what they publicly declare themselves to be, they would welcome transparency.

[00:42:09] We all know why they hide.

[00:42:12] Because we know what they hide.

[00:42:16] We can confirm federal judges who follow the Constitution rather than reverse engineer their preferred policy outcomes.

[00:42:23] The truth about abortion is spreading.

[00:42:26] Because of advances in medical imaging.

[00:42:29] Because of brave journalists.

[00:42:32] Tireless activists.

[00:42:34] Compassionate doctors.

[00:42:36] Nurses and other healthcare professionals.

[00:42:38] The rising generation of young Americans is the most pro-life in decades.

[00:42:43] Because they know too.

[00:42:45] And one day soon, we will reaffirm our nation's principles in their dignified fullness.

[00:42:51] And avow once again that all men are created equal.

[00:42:57] All are entitled to life.

[00:43:09] Well, welcome back everybody.

[00:43:11] I mean, obviously, I mean, let us count the days.

[00:43:14] It's November 5th, 7-14, 15-16, 17.

[00:43:19] We're 18 days post-election.

[00:43:20] So, obviously, dominating the show tonight and the last couple of weeks has been the post-election fallout.

[00:43:27] And transition and reaction.

[00:43:29] And how the administration is shaping up.

[00:43:33] Now, to recap our position on Trump.

[00:43:35] Obviously, nobody is being...

[00:43:38] Has rose-colored glasses on this.

[00:43:42] We are prepared to be disappointed.

[00:43:45] But all we can do, I think, is week to week, give you our opinion on what is happening right now.

[00:43:52] Not comparing to what happened four years ago or eight years ago.

[00:43:57] But the enemy of my enemy...

[00:43:59] Ann Coulter had a great article about this.

[00:44:01] The enemy of my enemy is RFK.

[00:44:03] So, on the things that Trump does that we like, we're going to give him credit for.

[00:44:07] On the things that he does that we don't like, we're going to make mention of that, too.

[00:44:11] Look at the afterglow of seeing how the left reacts to him.

[00:44:14] I mean, that just...

[00:44:15] There is something...

[00:44:16] Priceless.

[00:44:16] There is definitely some value in that.

[00:44:23] But...

[00:44:23] I love to hear about these Hollywood people moving out of the country.

[00:44:27] I mean, you know, don't let the door hit you in the posterior when you leave.

[00:44:30] Well, Joy Reid is moving to London now as a result of all of this.

[00:44:33] A lot of them actually are leaving this time, which has never before happened.

[00:44:36] And as a matter of fact, David...

[00:44:37] Speaking of David, Joy Reid said just recently that everyone who voted for Trump voted for

[00:44:45] David Duke.

[00:44:46] So...

[00:44:46] Well, you know, I wish that she would move to the Svalbard seed vault up there in the

[00:44:51] Arctic Circle or something like that.

[00:44:52] She needs to go back to Liberia or wherever she came from.

[00:44:55] But that's a whole other topic.

[00:45:00] But we are talking about Trump a lot.

[00:45:02] Well, I guess everybody has for the last decade.

[00:45:05] But certainly in the last couple of weeks, three weeks.

[00:45:09] Have you ever wondered what it's like inside Donald Trump's press pen?

[00:45:15] Well, you'll know for sure in the next hour.

[00:45:20] We're going to present to you in our next hour this month's installment of our TPC at 20

[00:45:27] retrospective series.

[00:45:28] This is, of course, a series we're featuring once per month.

[00:45:33] So 12 installments.

[00:45:36] This will be part 11 of 12.

[00:45:38] That means this year is almost over.

[00:45:40] But we're going to take you behind the presidential security detail.

[00:45:44] But we play some highlights in the next hour, Keith, from the rollicking remote broadcast

[00:45:49] that we aired live on TPC in 2016.

[00:45:52] And that was just another one of these spontaneous events, really.

[00:45:56] You know, I remember Eddie and me and whatnot.

[00:45:59] We were there.

[00:45:59] And then James was so popular that the next thing you know, the Trump campaign was seeking

[00:46:06] him out to do an interview with Don Jr.

[00:46:09] Well, this is what happened with that.

[00:46:10] We're going to take you all the way back to late February 2016.

[00:46:15] It was about a week before Super Tuesday, which was in the first week of March of 2016.

[00:46:21] So he was then candidate Trump.

[00:46:23] But he was in this.

[00:46:26] He was something.

[00:46:28] He was something out of the ordinary.

[00:46:29] Well, the Trump rallies were never as wild as they were back then.

[00:46:35] I mean, even now, it's nothing compared to what it was back then.

[00:46:40] So in this situation, and I applied for press credentials just a few days before the event.

[00:46:49] And we were approved.

[00:46:50] And it immediately became a big issue in the news that we were approved because other local

[00:46:59] media outlets, first of all, here in Memphis, were denied press credentials.

[00:47:04] But the Trump team approved the press credentials for the political cesspool.

[00:47:09] I mean, SPLC couldn't get enough of it.

[00:47:11] Well, the whole national media latched on.

[00:47:13] But what happened was we were approved, and I had to, of course, turn over my information

[00:47:18] to the Secret Service because they vet you.

[00:47:20] They want your social.

[00:47:21] They want your ID.

[00:47:22] They want to know who you are.

[00:47:24] We got cleared by the Secret Service.

[00:47:25] We got cleared by the Trump campaign.

[00:47:27] So there we go.

[00:47:28] We go, and we are there in February of 2016.

[00:47:32] So this is just a few months after he announces his candidacy.

[00:47:35] You go all the way back to the beginning of the Trumpian era.

[00:47:39] We're going to take you there in the next hour.

[00:47:41] But we weren't just there.

[00:47:42] We were there as credentialed members of the media.

[00:47:44] We were in the gates with NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, Washington Post, Reuters.

[00:47:51] And, of course, later, Trump started banning, I think, either the New York Times or the Washington

[00:47:56] Post.

[00:47:56] They did articles saying, well, you gave credentials to disreputable media like James Edwards.

[00:48:02] But not reputable media like the SPLC.

[00:48:07] But anyway, in this particular broadcast that we did at the end of February in 2016, we did a full three hours from the event.

[00:48:17] But what was so crazy, it was just meant to be.

[00:48:22] Donald Trump was speaking in Memphis on a Saturday night at 6 o'clock.

[00:48:26] I mean, can you even imagine that?

[00:48:28] I mean, what are the odds?

[00:48:29] And that we got the press credentials.

[00:48:30] So he was speaking simultaneously while I was broadcasting TPC Live just a few steps away.

[00:48:39] We were a few steps away from Trump as he was speaking.

[00:48:42] And we were broadcasting TPC Live.

[00:48:44] And we got the clearance to do that from the Trump campaign.

[00:48:47] I said, you know, I do this radio program.

[00:48:49] We're going to be live.

[00:48:50] Can we be live while he's speaking?

[00:48:51] Oh, yeah.

[00:48:52] It's not going to, you know, it's going to be so loud.

[00:48:53] Nobody's going to know the difference.

[00:48:56] But Sam Bushman was in the studio.

[00:48:59] Sam was in the studio.

[00:49:02] And I was there on the ground.

[00:49:04] And I don't know why we decided at the time to do it over the cell phone instead of taking our equipment.

[00:49:12] I think there was some issues back then for some reason.

[00:49:15] I think we needed, I think we were wondering if we could plug in hard wire or need Wi-Fi.

[00:49:21] And the easiest thing was to just do it over the phone.

[00:49:24] Well, anyway, it turned out fine.

[00:49:26] But we did it over a cell phone.

[00:49:28] And anyway, we're going to take you there.

[00:49:31] We're going to take you there in the next hour.

[00:49:33] And that really started a cascade of events from that broadcast in February of 2016 all the way through October of 2016.

[00:49:44] It got so big in the media.

[00:49:46] It took such a life of its own.

[00:49:47] You know this story, folks.

[00:49:49] I know you know this story.

[00:49:50] But by October of 2016, Hillary Clinton was saying if Donald Trump won and Donald Trump was elected president, people like James Edwards would be running the country.

[00:49:59] Now, unfortunately, that was a little bit of hyperbole.

[00:50:03] But you can dream.

[00:50:05] But it just goes to show, I mean, here's Hillary Clinton, the front runner.

[00:50:10] It was this event that got you.

[00:50:12] That got it all going.

[00:50:13] It was the very next day.

[00:50:15] You were one of 40 people that supposedly were verboten, at least in the eyes of the left, that were responsible for Trump being elected in 2016.

[00:50:27] Well, that was actually Media Matters who put out that chart, who said, yeah, we were one of the right-wing media fixtures responsible for Trump's winning the Republican nomination that year.

[00:50:41] And it all started with this broadcast.

[00:50:44] And the next day, we got an email from the Trump campaign in which they were soliciting an appearance for Donald Trump Jr.

[00:50:52] And we didn't go to them asking or trying to sneak it.

[00:50:55] They emailed me, James Edwards at thepoliticalsessable.org, and asked if we would have Don Jr. on.

[00:51:00] And then that led to all that publicity.

[00:51:02] And then Hillary Clinton.

[00:51:03] When you actually did it, Don Jr. was very complimentary.

[00:51:05] Oh, he loved it.

[00:51:06] He was all about it.

[00:51:07] Yeah, I know.

[00:51:07] So, but we've talked about that so many times over the years.

[00:51:10] But we're going to play for you.

[00:51:12] All that being said, we're not going to go through all that again.

[00:51:14] All that having been said.

[00:51:16] When we come back in the third hour, we're just going to have a little fun.

[00:51:19] It's our last hour before Thanksgiving.

[00:51:20] Next week kicks off the Christmas season and our Christmas fundraising drive.

[00:51:24] And I think you're really going to be excited about some of the incentive gifts that we have for our donors.

[00:51:31] And you'll get all that information.

[00:51:33] But I can tell you it involves above-time coffee and signed David Duke authentic original 1990 Duke for U.S. Senate hats.

[00:51:42] And that's not all.

[00:51:44] More things, too.

[00:51:46] We're giving away the store at Christmas time.

[00:51:49] We're going to be Santa Claus for you.

[00:51:52] But that's coming up.

[00:51:54] But coming up first is, of course, the third hour.

[00:51:57] So I think you'll enjoy this.

[00:51:58] It was interesting for me this week in preparing for tonight's show to go back and listen to that.

[00:52:06] I hadn't listened to it since it happened.

[00:52:09] So it's been, what, eight years now.

[00:52:11] And it's interesting to kind of go back to the dawn of the Trumpian era.

[00:52:15] And now here we are in the transition going back to what we'll end up being by the time it's over.

[00:52:21] It's amazing.

[00:52:22] James has kind of been the –

[00:52:23] 13 years.

[00:52:23] James has been the Forrest Gump of our movement.

[00:52:27] And all these critical junctures hanging around.

[00:52:30] Well, this was a fun one.

[00:52:32] And we'll play it for you.

[00:52:34] We're going to just play some highlights.

[00:52:36] It was a full three-hour broadcast.

[00:52:38] And in the second and third hours, we kind of broke down some news.

[00:52:42] We talked to some people in the crowd.

[00:52:44] There was a lot of political cesspool fans that day who were there, local listeners, that we got to meet.

[00:52:50] But anyway, we'll do that.

[00:52:52] We're going to do that next.

[00:52:52] I think you'll enjoy it.

[00:52:54] And what else can we say about it, Keith?

[00:52:56] Anything else you want to mention about things in the news right now

[00:52:59] and some of these cabinet appointments, I mean, obviously some of them are big-time duds.

[00:53:03] But, you know, that's to be expected too.

[00:53:04] Well, we need to really scrutinize these people and see who is naughty, who's nice.

[00:53:10] As they said, you know, with Santa Claus, we've got a mixed bag of people here.

[00:53:17] But on the other hand, to me at least, it seems like they're of a higher caliber from our vantage point

[00:53:23] than the people in the first Trump administration.

[00:53:27] I think we've got some people here that are not swamp creatures, people that are going to upset the apple cart.

[00:53:34] And, of course, all of that is just what the doctor ordered as far as we're concerned.

[00:53:39] I like this here.

[00:53:42] Trump's choice to run the Justice Department may win confirmation,

[00:53:45] but Senate Democrats can lay down some serious markers during her confirmation hearings.

[00:53:49] We were talking about this.

[00:53:50] This is Pam Bondi, a Jewish congressman out of Maryland, Jamie Raskin.

[00:53:58] The attorney general will be the weaponizer-in-chief of the legal system for Trump.

[00:54:02] Well, that's it.

[00:54:02] We can only hope.

[00:54:03] Well, I mean, was that not exactly what they were using?

[00:54:06] They weaponized every single department.

[00:54:08] We're going to do what you did and do it one better.

[00:54:10] I hope.

[00:54:10] That's probably wishful thinking, that we could play that game as good as they do.

[00:54:15] What is this we?

[00:54:16] I mean, that Trump will do it.

[00:54:18] But his enemies can be our enemies, and they certainly are.

[00:54:22] And so if he goes after them, even if for different reasons that we might want him to.

[00:54:27] We enjoy the just sweat.

[00:54:28] As Bill Clinton said, we feel their pain, but we enjoy it.

[00:54:32] Indeed.

[00:54:33] Yes, that's right.

[00:54:35] Well, stay tuned for a fun third hour.

[00:54:36] I think you'll enjoy going back with me in time.

[00:54:39] The dawn of the Trump age, for better and worse.

[00:54:42] There's been a lot of both, but it's fun nonetheless.

[00:54:47] Be prepared to be entertained.
