Radio Show Hour 1 – 2024/02/24

The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) held its annual gathering in Washington this week. Our correspondent provides a full report live from the scene where Donald Trump spoke today.

[00:00:00] You're listening to the Liberty News Radio Network and this is the Political Sess Pool.

[00:00:13] The Political Sess Pool, known across the South and worldwide as the South's foremost

[00:00:19] populous conservative radio program.

[00:00:22] And here to guide you through the murky waters of the Political Sess Pool is your host, James

[00:00:27] Edwards. broadcast with coverage from the ground in DC. How's your week been? Well, first of all, James, good evening, political cesspool family. I am doing very well. James, currently I am at CPAC at the Gaylord National Resort in Oxen Hill, Maryland.

[00:01:40] I am currently in a hotel room with two beautiful ladies.

[00:01:46] And I know one of them is very special to you indeed. I myself are spokesmen all Denial Rodriguez also Ed Huebner. I was gonna have him as in production With 75 radio because it is a major operation and now we were denied credentials I say okay, so then it opened back up for media credentials again so I applied under the name Libby News Radio Network as I

[00:03:03] Am a part of this show and my show is syndicated by Libby News Radio Network That's the question on everybody's mind that we got to get to the bottom of. Now I know you met Robert Davi there one year who played one of the villains in James Bond and yes folks we are going to get to some serious content here in just a second, but I actually thought that was pretty cool. He was the bad guy in what movie? Which Bond was that? License to Kill. License to Kill of course. Timothy Dalton.

[00:04:20] And that was a good one.

[00:04:21] All we can claim is Sonny Landom from Predator.

[00:04:24] No we do.

[00:04:25] Well yeah, but you can you've done a great job. I heard you on Sam Bushman show a couple of times this week reporting live from the scene. Now, as you said, they used to call it radio row. Now it's called media row because you have the proliferation of podcasts and live streams and a lot of video content. Now it's not just radio there in the media circle, which is where you've been

[00:05:42] hanging out with all of our peers in the media.

[00:05:44] Let me ask you this to get started. Well, I'll ask you this first, and then I'll go back to the one I was going to ask. the record show I am happily divorced but once again all right but what also Keith remember I am in the gala or national resort in a hotel room with two beautiful ladies there you go well too bad we don't have a video feed yeah but he can get it well he sends me pictures all the time so it wouldn't be suitable

[00:07:03] for this family show again wait till 10 o'clock Saturday morning. Now if anybody's been to CPAC, you know, at 8 o'clock Saturday morning 90% of the people

[00:08:21] cannot drive a car legally in the state of Maryland.

[00:08:23] But I was kind of disappointed because there wasn't as much mainstream media as much media has just gone downhill. In Florida, when they had it down in Florida, I heard it was a blast. But since it's back here in DC, I guess people don't want to come to DC. Also, a lot of blame is put on the shoulders of Matt Schlapp. Every single person I spoke to said, well,

[00:09:42] ACU, the American conservative union,

[00:09:43] need to get rid of Matt Schlapp.

[00:09:45] He needs to step down.

[00:09:46] He needs to guess. Number one, the Republican Party base has moved on the kind of conservatism they get at CPAC. They're a lot more hungry for the red meat that shows like this provide and also the scandal surrounding Schlapp I'm sure have played a role in it too. I think it's those two things that might have had the attendance a little depressed in 2024 even in a

[00:11:00] presidential election year. We'll be right back with scoop. The Honorable

[00:11:03] Call is a free South. There's a collection of 12 essays written by Southern You know where the solution can be found, Mr. President? In churches, in wedding chapels, in maternity wards across the country and around the world. More babies will mean forward-looking adults, the sort we need to tackle long-term, large-scale problems. American babies in particular are likely going to be wealthier, better educated, and more

[00:12:23] conservation-minded than children raised in still-industrializing countries. the studio and scoop Stanton reporting live from just outside Washington DC in the suburbs of America of Washington DC at the conservative political action conference CPAC. He's been there all week on radio row with media credentials taking it all in reporting live for shows on this network including obviously DPC and Sam Bushman's Liberty Roundtable.

[00:13:43] Talking about attendance being depressed I'll just reiterate what I said before the break Okay, thank you. But how do I sound? Also perfect. Anyways, like I've been coming here for about a decade and most of the action happens on a radio row. You know, you don't see what happens on a radio row. You got people politicking, trying to get on different shows and podcasts and so on and so forth, the phone, he looked at me like he looked at me as I about to mug him. I said, oh, how you doing, sir? My name is Pete Stanton. I'm with the Living News Radio, your sponsor of the network. And we'd love to have you on. We're on live right now. He's like, where you at? I was like, pointed like right over to... Very cool. I pointed over to Squatter's Row, which is just me. And I's some people I would see if I was there. Let me ask you about that. And had the access that scoop did. I was going to say, are any of these so-called luminaries of our movement or among the usual suspects like Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro and all those

[00:17:42] people? Yeah, Levin was there. Now here's Ben Ferguson, Keith, I mean, that's what we're talking about. There's Sebastian Gorkin. Nevermind. I was wrong. He was a speaker. Of course he would be. How could he not be there? Kerry Lake, Rick Santorum. See, this is the kind of wimpy conservatism.

[00:19:00] I remember actually Rick Santorum being there some years ago in a bunch of college guys And oh speaking of selfies I who is there? Elizabeth Kucinich who's just an absolute doll just actually gorgeous nice as can be Easy on the eyes if you know what I mean, but I did not want to take a selfie with her There's only two people I take selfies with and one works on my show the other one introduced me her to this show because he wants to take selfies but

[00:20:21] You know people want to take selfies people. Oh, it's congressman so-and-so and in such-and-such and me yeah

[00:21:26] I gotta say folks, I wanna encourage you to go back to Sam Bushman's show, LibertyRoundtable.com, for the last couple of days.

[00:21:27] Scoop did some great on-the-scenes reporting there, kind of breaking it down.

[00:21:31] You brought this up that they have, you know, they're against cancel culture, but they'll cancel you real quick and easy.

[00:21:36] And you gave some examples of that.

[00:21:37] Nick Quintez, Richard Spencer, and others who have been thrown out.

[00:21:41] You're a loomer.

[00:21:42] You're a truer.

[00:21:43] You're a loomer who's there with the President Trump. Right. Which I plan to. But unfortunately, the former.

[00:23:03] Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I deal with the kids. But here's a good thing real quick. She still stars tod star and is from that the seas defended the day the better for start of former nathan bedford for its grave here uh... there's some you know the people there i'm sure we could find common ground with did you run into any of those either on the stage or on media role or just in conversations with passerby just did just uh... attendees i mean the real conservatives are not the people on the

[00:24:21] stage

[00:24:21] that the people we want to do it but the people who paid their heart and money

[00:24:25] to come here because they want to save this nation The investigation suggests that they had no relationship. He did not know her at all. I think this was a crime of opportunity where he saw individual and bad things happen. The police chief saying the man is charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, kidnapping, hindering a 911 call, and concealing

[00:25:42] the death of another.

[00:25:43] This is the first murder on the campus in 20 years.

[00:25:46] Classes have been canceled until Monday. of the United States Supreme Court with the full intention for them to overturn Roe v. Wade and take away the protections around every person's freedom and right to be able to make decisions about their own body. And today marks two years since Russia invaded Ukraine. And I'm Laura Winters, USA News.

[00:27:00] Omaha Steaks is rewriting the book on burgers

[00:27:03] with an all new handmade texture for the juiciest home style

[00:27:07] burgers you've ever tasted. Hey there, TPC family. This is James Edwards, your host of the Political SaaS Pool. Folks, I want you to subscribe to the American Free Press, America's last real newspaper. Against all odds, AFP has and continues to publish a populist, independent print newspaper with an unparalleled track record. Founded by a dedicated group of experienced patriots, AFP

[00:28:24] pulls no punches and tackles the most controversial and pressing issues facing America from an while at the same time exploring the dangers posed by liberalism to our national interests and cultural institutions. The Conservative Citizens Foundation also seeks to educate the public on the dangers of extremist ideologies like critical race theory and cultural Marxism. I've worked with the good people at the Conservative Citizens Foundation for many years and their

[00:29:41] work comes with my complete endorsement.

[00:29:44] For more information and to keep up with all the latest conservative news headlines, please Is it that the Southern Poverty Law Center once put it the veneer of credibility? Thank you, Sam, for doing that. And certainly- A veneer that the SPLC does not have. And anyway, a couple of quick announcements, Scoop giving us the honor of reporting for us tonight, leading off tonight's broadcast for an hour live from CPAC.

[00:31:03] A couple of things coming up, and that's sort of like sometimes when you film a movie you film a movie and then you don't the movie Doesn't come out for another year. That's like some that these articles are like that. Who pray tell was the king and I that you just mentioned What do you mean? Oh Steve King? Oh, not Martin Luther. Yeah Steve King Anyway, so that's coming up in AFP and TBR and we'll be back every week in the paper

[00:32:21] It's just I was out of town and missed one andvitz uh... time of cyber security so it was a

[00:33:42] snooze fest

[00:33:44] they also had something uh... lecture in these two medical doctors, both oncologists, talking about what that so-called vaccine does to people. If you look at the patent, it's not even called vaccine, it's called gene products. Not a vaccine, but gene products. And the things that this vaccine did proposing and discussing, I guess we can call this the great kill-off because, you know, the only people that did you run into? Very little of a, surprisingly, but a lot of Trump, a lot of Make America Great Again, a lot of red hats, a lot of red shirts, a lot of conservative women for Trump shirts,

[00:37:43] you know a lot of red, white, and blue, not a lot of that other stuff, but you know, but

[00:37:47] it's a personal choice, but you know, we all see these neighborhoods absolutely destroyed by narcotics and now the fentanyl's coming in by a truckload and you know now's not the time to say alright, you know, let people legalize drugs. So you know, in DC weed is legal and you know people still came at crimes because they need the cash to go buy

[00:39:01] weed. If you got money to go buy weed. What does he say on the border? Legalizing drugs? What about the border? conference well I know scoop told me that's a good question I know scoop you told me there was an anti Hamas video which is fine to be anti Hamas but the correlation is you're pro-israel and you're right there got the yourself to check out the Antelope Hill catalog with exclusive offerings like Rebel Mountain by Kurt Eggers, a brand new reprint of the infamous You Gentiles by Marie Samuel and now the treatise of a January

[00:41:40] 6 prisoner in the American regime.

[00:41:43] There is something there for everyone and earns your business month after month. Call 801-706-6980 now and let managed IT services transform your IT experience. We're in with them. But back to CPAC. Again, I think Scoop the Day for this kind of stuff is over. It is moving beyond that and it has to. I think even in the past they had what Van Jones speak there. I mean this guy is the most anti-white, rabid, Marxist, cultural communist you can imagine. And he's a speaker at CPAC in the past if I'm not mistaken.

[00:44:21] That's not even as bad as, you know, Sam. And tonight's selection is the interview that you and I did with Anthony Kumeya. We're gonna be revisiting that to give you just an example of one of the first guys who really kind of broke bad and came out on our issues as early as 10 years ago, Anthony Kumeya. We're gonna revisit that interview with fresh reaction and commentary in the third hour.

[00:45:40] So stay tuned for that.

[00:45:41] And then if you haven't gotten enough scoop yet,

[00:45:44] and how could you to know him as to love him,

[00:45:45] he's gonna be doing it all over again,

[00:45:48] two hours from now when his show kicks off You know you could take a self and we've done that before. I doubt because I guess one of these wild after parties, a lot of people dancing, booze. Right. This is radio not television. You can get away with some things. Right so but I like to trust me there's been plenty of shows I've done on the cesspool

[00:47:01] and 7-5 radio where I've done on the telephone.

[00:47:03] It sounds like garbage.

[00:47:04] It sounds like I'm thinking, okay, is this how this interview is going to go? I mean, America was not great. America did not just become ungreat in the last four years. It's had some systemic issues for generations now. But she started off with that and then she got

[00:48:21] surprisingly strong. She talked about opposition to forced DEI

[00:49:23] it was a good interview what did you make of it scoop it was a great interview uh... i was shocked how

[00:49:27] eloquent

[00:49:28] and to the point she was

[00:49:30] and we didn't see it didn't it didn't sound like a typical talk of points and

[00:49:33] always other politicians impress people and spin doctors are made but uh...

[00:49:37] is is very uh...

[00:49:40] to the point in very eloquent

[00:49:42] and uh...

[00:49:44] and for some reason when before he started his own program, he sort of was in Spain at one time.

[00:51:01] He was in road to Spain.

[00:51:02] And for for so many years, he always had the last segment Squatter's Row. I put my little flag up, a little t-shirt, and we knocked it out of the park. And the best thing about CPAC is meeting the people because I met two awesome fans, 475Radio, and they know our media director, Mike Rakebrandt. So things happen for a reason.

[00:53:45] This is my best CPAC for the network and people recognize him and they are listeners of 75 Radio and I think that's fantastic. Right. They're friends with Mike, Rake Brand, and then we follow each other on Facebook and somebody posted, hey, I'm going to a CPAC. It's like, me too. They came in and I met up with them and just within two seconds I knew they were good people. Hand and glove.

[00:53:46] Right.

[00:53:47] We were just hanging out with them ever since.
