[00:10:01] When you see precious metals, when you actually see the bullion, I don't know what it is. It always kind of gives you this little like, you're like, yeah, look at that. So Jonathan, thanks for joining us, man. Listen, man, you have a long history,

[00:10:14] but I really want you to touch on the points of why you went in this direction because obviously you seem to have had a background originally in normal securities, and then you went in a different direction. So kind of maybe share that with the audience.

[00:10:28] I'm happy to be here, guys. Thanks for having me on. I was backstage and I was listening. And then to my surprise, I heard the bigmigbeef.com. I'm going to show you something here. My chef dropped me off tacos today, and these were prepped beef, the bigmigbeef tacos.

[00:10:45] So I was really surprised that you guys were talking about beef, which is a valuable commodity to me as well as gold. So that kind of put a smile on my face there, and it's a product I also get behind. So it was good to see that.

[00:10:57] But yes, gold, you can probably tell from my accent. I'm not from Kansas, right? So I grew up in London, in London and worked on the London Metal Exchange. And I was very fortunate actually back then to be working for AAA rated banks such as Merrill Lynch

[00:11:14] and Morgan Stanley and Prudential, like you mentioned. And that was trading what we call base metals market. So the London Metal Exchange, the equivalent, imagine the New York Stock Exchange, people wear these colored blazers. They're throwing up their hands and lots of screaming, lots of yelling.

[00:11:29] It's very chaotic, but it's a beautiful scene. And this was what I called the base metals market. So I used to work where people were trading aluminum, copper, tin, lead, and zinc. And it's one of the fastest pace markets there is still today.

[00:11:45] But while I was there, the next pit next to me, which was a smaller trading pit, was the precious metals market. And I've always had an affinity for precious metals for a couple of reasons. One, I've always believed in it

[00:11:57] because having something tangible you can hold on to. And like you mentioned, if you hold onto gold, people's eyes light up and it really has that allure and appeal to it. But my grandfather used to give me every Christmas birthdays, he would give me British sovereign coins.

[00:12:12] And those coins are worth a lot more today than they were back then. And I always had like an appeal to collecting these gold coins. But when I actually worked on the London Metal Exchange, I was very fortunate to work with one of the top fame traders.

[00:12:26] And I would always say to him, if I was ever going to invest in gold, what's the best way to do it? And he said to me straight up, it always stuck with me. He's like, Jonathan, obviously we're trading futures contracts. This is high risk and people

[00:12:41] buy these contracts and they either make money or they hedge or they lose money. If you ever invest in precious metals, the safest way to do it is to physically hold onto the asset itself. And that always stuck with me because it was something as a child

[00:12:56] that I was already holding on to these assets. So I definitely had an affinity towards precious metals. And when I came to America in 1997, I was very fortunate enough to get involved in precious metals as a physical commodities. And really with my experience working in London

[00:13:14] on the London Metal Exchange and my finance background, I was then approached by companies like HSBC and AIG and they wanted me to come to Southeast Asia and actually train their financial advisors. This is really interesting. Train their financial advisors to sell gold.

[00:13:31] Now, why would they want a Westerner to do that? Well, because in the early 2000s, particularly in China and Southeast Asian countries, when they invested in gold, they actually purchased gold jewelry, gold necklaces. And when you buy gold necklaces, they're not necessarily pure gold.

[00:13:50] So they could be 14 carat. You're paying a premium for them and really you're not really getting your money's worth. So it was really an educational process on showing how Western civilization and people here in the United States per se

[00:14:05] were using gold as a hedge in bars and coins, right? Rather than gold jewelry that you would wear. So obviously in Asia, they have a monstrous appetite for the yellow metal. They still do. So it was very unique experience to see how other countries invest in gold.

[00:14:24] But obviously coming back to America and continuing my kind of passion for gold, I got into physical commodities and I really just had really a knack for educating people whether it's financial advisors in America on really what type of product people wanted. So fast forward to today,

[00:14:42] we have Genesis Gold Group, I'm one of the co-founders here. And what we specialize in is helping people who have IRAs and 401ks or maybe they just want metals sent to their home and they keep it in a safety deposit box. But more importantly, these people are concerned

[00:14:57] or rightly so because they're turning on the news, reading these articles, seeing the trade deficit that we're in, we have $34 trillion in debt, which I'm sure you guys are aware. We're amassing $1 million in debt every 90 days. Now that $1 million is interest on the existing debt that we own.

[00:15:18] And we're very numb to these numbers. But just to kind of put it into perspective, that $1 trillion that we're paying in interest every month, that's literally more than our national defense budget. So we're paying our national defense budget every single month just in the interest that we own.

[00:15:35] And then when we look at- And Jonathan, I wanna stop you just for a second. Can you give some background on how long Genesis has been around? Because obviously one of the big concerns we always hear is that people are concerned about the storage of their bullion

[00:15:46] and can they trust the company to do business with it? Give them some background because I know the background but I want them to hear it from you. Yeah, so basically, I was a consultant in the gold market for over, gosh, over 18 years.

[00:15:58] I then got out of the gold market and I took four years off. And during those four years, I had a lot of gold companies call me to consult for them because of my contacts, my knowledge, back office operations, integrations with the mints that I work with.

[00:16:16] And I did go and consult for some of these large firms. And it was very interesting to kind of take four years off and work for these firms because I noticed from a business owner level, and I'm sure there's probably business owners that are listening to this

[00:16:30] and they can probably appreciate what I'm about to say. Watching another company do what you do is very interesting to look at because I did notice and I tip my hat to some of these companies that they did a lot of things better than I did.

[00:16:42] And then I noticed things that they didn't do as good as I used to do. But one thing that was a really red flag for me, and I'm not gonna mention any company's names because I'll probably get cease and desist letters tomorrow,

[00:16:54] is when I saw how much they were charging people. And long story short, they were fleecing people. And at that point in time, I had to step away and there was some good people at the company and I told people, I can no longer help this company

[00:17:07] because I know what they're charging the general public. And there's helping people and there's fleecing people. And that really didn't sit right with my morals and my values. And really this is when Genesis a couple of years ago kind of came into the picture

[00:17:21] because I realized that there's a need for precious metals but there's a right way to do this and the wrong way to do this. So I was very fortunate to really find people who shared my beliefs, my moral compass as well.

[00:17:37] And we want to make sure that we help people do this the right way because obviously there's lots of choices like you mentioned of gold companies out there. But you want to make sure that you're working with a company that's accredited, has a good track record

[00:17:51] and more importantly is gonna explain this to you. And basically is really just gonna give you a fair deal and get gold into your hands and not get overcharged. So that was really the main reason why I got back into the industry and obviously being a faith-based company

[00:18:06] we do things a little bit differently here. And I think it's very important to make a big decision when it comes to your retirement because folks, when you have an IRA or 401k most people, 70,000, half a million, a million plus these IRAs or 401ks

[00:18:23] they've been working their whole life to amass these retirement accounts. This is a big decision. You're getting ready to roll over your IRA. You better be doing it with the correct company. Meeting your life partner, big decision, right? Buying your first house, big decision. Also probably stressful.

[00:18:39] Rolling over an IRA, 401k after you finished working your entire career that's a big decision. And it just shouldn't be something where a quick phone call I've got an IRA and you're getting sold or you're getting slammed on the phone by someone.

[00:18:53] And it's kind of that boiler room mentality. So, you know, that's really where we kind of differentiate ourselves because we like to educate people and informed investors are better investors. So really there's a right way to do this. And we just believe that if you educate people

[00:19:09] and take a slow approach and kind of listen to what their needs are listen to why they're trying to do this we can then give them some better recommendations on what type of goal they should be holding onto or silver, right? Is this a short term hold?

[00:19:23] Is it a long term hold? And really do this through baby steps and not just all at once. So I think it's kind of slowing the process down and making them feel good. Lance, I want to bring up an important point.

[00:19:35] Lance, hold on, let me bring up an important point. One thing about Genesis Gold Group and we all know Mike Lindell how what a Patri is and he works with Genesis Gold Group I'm gonna put up his little picture there. So you know right then and there

[00:20:14] And that went a long way with me I have to be honest with you because we'd had a lot of gold companies approach us in the past and that when I done some internet searching I was uncomfortable. But the fact that Mike Lindell was involved

[00:20:25] the fact that you got referred to me by somebody that I trust his guidance and his reputation and how he does business. And the fact that also when I looked at the website it didn't seem like a hard sell. What I felt like is

[00:20:38] you were trying to educate people. You offer a 12 page guide for the novice and maybe it's even more sophisticated than novice. I haven't ordered one yet I'm actually going to order the guide because I want to be able to guide our listeners or subscribers

[00:20:49] and tell them hey this guide is great. And at this point but the guide you've got maybe just give us the quick cliff notes on that because I know there's only certain precious metals that the IRS allows you to invest in. I think it's platinum, palladium,

[00:21:02] silver and gold is that right? Yeah that's right. Yeah the gold we recommend four nines pure silver has to be three nines pure. So the IRS only limits you on what type of metals you can put in there. So you don't want to make the mistake

[00:21:16] of trying to do this by yourself. You can't you need a metals broker. And as you mentioned Mike Lindell we're very proud that he's one of our spokespeople. And whether it's people like Mike Lindell or people in Hollywood they work with us directly. But our normal clientele

[00:21:32] to be honest with you Lance is just the average American blue collar workers people who are the farmers and really who are the backbone of this company. It just so happens that through people that I know and through networks and good people that you know

[00:21:50] that we're very fortunate enough to have these people work with us and promote it. Because like you said there's choices out there. And that's when it comes really time to kind of help people make those crucial decisions. So yes you're right. You know our definitive goal guide

[00:22:04] is absolutely free. We want to be able to show people which coins and bars are going to give you a better return in the future. Which coins and bars have the lowest premiums. Are you looking for a balanced portfolio? This is what we call a metals consultation

[00:22:19] comes into play. Is it gold? Is it silver? Is it platinum? Is it palladium? Do you want a little bit of a mixture? So it's really important to listen to what people think. And you know I always say that we're the navigators but the client's still the captain.

[00:22:34] So we can make our recommendations and lead them. But ultimately they're the boss and whatever they want to do and purchase. You know they're in the driver's seat and they're in charge. But a lot of times this is new to people. They do understand what gold provides.

[00:22:49] Security etc. And it's more of a question of well you know who do I turn to? Who do I go to? Who's trusted? So you know they do lean on us but ultimately we try and help them the best we can. John, so a lot of people

[00:23:03] even people in our chat say like if you don't have the gold in your hand you don't own it. Yeah so that's I'm glad you say that. So there are a few different ways you can own gold George. Physical gold I'm a big believer in

[00:23:18] because you're right if you don't hold on to it right? You're not holding a piece of metal. You don't own it. But you may work with a financial advisor and I used to be a registered financial consultant. So I know how those guys think

[00:23:30] and you go to your brokerage and you ask them for gold they don't sell gold because they just don't make enough money. They can't nickel and dime you. So they will sell you what's under their umbrella. So normally with a broker dealer

[00:23:41] they will say well we have gold mining stocks and yes you're investing in a gold mining stock but it's a piece of paper. You're really investing in the CEO or the board of directors as a shareholder if they don't mind any gold you don't make any money.

[00:23:55] So there's again lots of variables there. If you want to invest in gold mining stocks completely different to own physical gold and then you may have something such as ETFs electronically traded funds. They're tied to the price of the gold. It can go up it can go down.

[00:24:10] Again you can't redeem it for gold. So if you're going to really invest in gold the safest way to do it is to what George just said. If you don't hold on to it you don't own it. That's what people are looking for.

[00:24:23] They're looking for a flight to safety and security and we have a little saying in our industry that you don't wait to buy gold you buy gold and wait and really what that refers to is that you purchase gold it's not like a stock

[00:24:35] you have to check in every single day. This is more of a mid to long-term hold so especially why it makes sense in a retirement account is either people just want to shift out of dollars or they want to have a safe place to keep their money

[00:24:48] but when they're turning on the news and they're hearing about bank failures and Jerome Powell the head of the Federal Reserve said folks there's going to be more bank failures that happen this year so be prepared and we know what that looks like and I often say

[00:25:01] we don't have a crystal ball but we have a pretty good road map. So you mentioned What I think is really interesting on your website you have put up some great articles there was one from Breitbart on this show we've talked about the impact of what's coming

[00:25:16] because of bricks we know that Saudi Arabia is not renewing the petrodollar contract with the U.S. government at this time at least as far as what we've seen in the press there's a lot of concerns diversification how much diversification but you can't this article is really compelling

[00:25:32] four reasons why conservatives and evangelicals are concerned about the coming catch with society we see them pushing us toward this cashless society they want to really trap us with these social credit scores in the case of George and I our social credit score would probably be negative 10

[00:25:50] because we post real information and real news if anybody's going to be attacked it's going to be the people that are over the target people like Roger Stone Michael Flynn Ann Vandersteel they're going to be really the people or the gateway pundit

[00:26:04] I know that they're one of the people that you do business with I really like Jim Hoff and Joe Hoff I think they're always in the fight they've been attacked non-stop through lawfare but this cashless society and I got to ask you this because you're an expert

[00:26:18] gold is somewhat predictive of what and obviously the diversification is where you get the safety to have a certain amount of your assets in a way and tell me what do you see coming here when it comes to the effects of bricks

[00:26:30] when it comes to the cashless society this fiat currency that we're here on obviously here in the U.S. and this debt we've become can you give us kind of a and I know that's a lot I just threw at you but maybe just kind of an overview

[00:26:43] of where you think this is going Yeah, I'm glad you bring up the central bank digital currencies which is the cashless society I feel like it doesn't get enough news I've never had a client say to me oh that sounds like a good idea getting rid of cash

[00:26:58] and going straight into a digital currency a digital currency scares me and really what this is about if you want to break it down it's a form of control they want to know what we're spending where are we spending how are we spending

[00:27:14] so this is a form of government overreach and government control and I can tell you something that's a pretty scary story but one of my clients actually works for Brinks and Brinks are the armored truck company that pick up a lot of cash

[00:27:27] they don't just pick up cash they do a lot of other things and this gentleman I had to laugh when he told me the story because he actually works with the Federal Reserve and he asked me have you ever heard of the FedNOW coin

[00:27:39] and I was like yeah I've heard of the FedNOW coin that's the precursor to digital currencies and going cashless and he said well he's like you know I'm here on the death star working on this and I'm one of the architects behind the FedNOW coin

[00:27:51] and I know what happens next and they're already beginning to shift us towards a cashless society will it happen this year no will it be next year probably not but it's going to be happening in the next three to four years

[00:28:05] and as they're trying to move retail shops it's all being like the guinea pigs here are the retail outlets the small the small my and pa shops and then it's going to larger larger corporations and then they're coming after our cash and in fact Brinks are currently

[00:28:19] in the Midwest in the process of working with the government of building huge depositories now what they're putting in these depositories I'm not too sure but there is a mass building project going on right now and it has to be you know whether it's central banks buying gold

[00:28:37] or our own government buying assets like commodities and silver and storing it they're preparing for something and when you have people who work high up at Brinks operations and I tried to get him to come on even some of my shows and he just didn't want to

[00:28:50] you know get into trouble I tried to get out his face his name voice changer he just didn't want any part of it but when you speak to these people and they're working with these establishments and they're trying to take away their cash

[00:29:02] you really have to pay attention you know when you look at Bricks the dominance of the Bricks countries and how the current administration has left the US dollar a big void in the Middle East and these powerful countries are banded together these nuclear companies nuclear powered oil

[00:29:19] all powered companies countries you know they're they really have sucked out the dominance of the US dollar and the western dominance is is pretty much over so you know Bricks currencies are on the verge of coming out when do we when do we know that's going to happen

[00:29:35] we don't know but it's inevitable is it going to be backed by gold probably so is it going to be a new currency probably so are there going to be ramifications for the US dollar absolutely so it's important to kind of be proactive and not reactive

[00:29:51] and understand what's coming towards us what's going to be the next kind of big X factor you know we're not talking about supply chain issues the next big bird flu right it's a pivotal election year I always say 2024 is the year of turmoil

[00:30:05] so when we look at what's ahead my my kind of sticking points even though digital currencies is something that scares me you know debt does matter I always talk about this you know I think this is something that's going to absolutely crush the US dollar

[00:30:19] I also think that local banks community banks on a local level they're going to continue to falter because they're carrying such bad debt these big banks commercial loans all these skyscrapers here in LA where I'm from don't hold that against me they're empty for the most part

[00:30:38] so you know we're hearing that story that the commercial is the next meltdown that at the end of the day a lot of these businesses because of the pandemic recognize the fact that they didn't need these massive amounts of overhead even though the production

[00:30:51] of individuals on their staff would drop by 15 to 25 percent the amount of money they were recovering by not having a space leased somewhere these tremendous spaces and this tremendous overhead including insurance and the rest of it they recognize that just by increasing the staff sum

[00:31:08] that they don't need that and of course that has a direct impact of course also things like the Trump trial in New York lots of investors are pulling out in New York just recently Grant Cardone Mark Cuban commented on you can't go into these blue cities

[00:31:25] with this much uncertainty there's just too much uncertainty when it comes to investors he know they know the rate of returns and they're not willing to put the money up when they don't know what kind of policy initiatives especially things like ex post facto laws

[00:31:40] and changing the statute of limitations like they did on Trump it's pretty it's pretty it's an it's really not a good environment for the security of investors but you know a lot of times and I want to I want to segue in this

[00:31:52] because I don't want to run out of time with you and this is so important when people talk about what's going to happen the future of cashless societies the future of the US dollar diversification comes to mind obviously a lot of there's a lot of uncertainty

[00:32:06] in the stock market but then they get worried they said well you know if I buy an ounce of silver I buy an ounce of gold if we do to go to a society where we're going to be transacting money or make payments how do I you know

[00:32:16] because it used to be an old Rome they used to clip off pieces of the coins that's why we see so many old Roman coins old Go coins you see the edges have been trimmed down because that's what they would do back then

[00:32:26] they could trim off pieces of the coin that doesn't seem like that's where the market's going but you guys have been innovative you listened to your consumers and came up with what you're calling I believe the prepper bar well I'm going to say the closest comparison

[01:00:11] The Gateway Pundit had previously reported this As had the Big MIG show and the Big MIG talk radio show So Speaker Pelosi and obviously Mayor Muriel Bowser Were both warned about the security situation They were both told that it was going to be a turnout on January 6th

[01:00:27] A big turnout They were both told You should probably bring in the national guard by Donald Trump and others At the end of the day what did she do? She didn't bring in the national guard That was her job to do so

[01:00:37] And that day you guys don't know this Many of the Capitol police were given that day off Now why would she do that if it wasn't intentional? She turned down thousands of national guard troops On January 6th for political reasons Not for the right reasons

[01:00:54] At the end of the day most people didn't even know They were violating the law when they walked into the Capitol The doors were popped open And when you think about it It's pretty screwed up At the end of the day

[01:01:05] This is the kind of thing that you have to pay attention to And you have to realize that Chris Ray's FBI Also refused to notify the Trump administration His cabinet secretaries That they believed there could be violence Like the mass protests at the Capitol took place that day

[01:01:19] Now we know that violence was triggered But the feds intentionally did that Using less lethal munitions to trigger the crowds Because they weren't getting the result they wanted People were being too peaceful So what did they do? They used flash bangs They used pepper spray

[01:01:34] They used pepper balls They used sandbag that were projectiles Think about it Those batons triggered people Because they were getting aggressively hit We saw the attacks on people And people that got hurt And it wasn't the Capitol police It was actual peaceful protesters

[01:01:51] So the fact that Nancy Pelosi refused the National Guard And the U.S. Capitol police reinforcements Because of politics Well that's such an excuse At the end of the day she's responsible Because Donald Trump told them to have those reinforcements And they chose not to

[01:06:39] When Jennifer Hemingway I believe it was Jennifer Hemingway Handed me her cell phone And it was Emily Barrett's cell phone calling her And it was Speaker Pelosi on the other line This is my second call with Speaker Pelosi Questioning the information I'd given to Vice President Pence

[01:06:53] About when we can get back into chambers I assured her that information was correct I could get them back into chambers by 7 p.m. And the call ended That was call number two Call number three was 625 p.m. I was over at the Senate From the secure location

[01:07:07] I mean from where the Senate had been sequestered And on a cell phone using Robert Karam's cell phone They dialed leadership Who was over offsite at a secure location And I briefed all of the leadership Of the plans to get them back into chambers

[01:13:22] Most lawyers tell their defendant don't testify That's absolutely right I spent a lot of time as a prosecutor I'm now a white collar criminal defense attorney And I would always advise my clients Unless in the most rare occasions not to testify

[01:13:37] Right because the defendant has a constitutional right Not to it is the government's burden To prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt Once the defendant is on the stand Who knows what's going to happen Of course they will tell their story But then it opens the door

[01:13:50] For the prosecution to cross examine them And then the jury can consider What they've heard the defendant say They could find them not credible Whereas if it is just the prosecution's case The defendant does not testify Then the burden is where it should be

[01:14:05] Which is on the prosecution It's just too risky to have a defendant testify Because you don't know what the prosecution is going to ask All right I'm going to break it Let me ask you this Yep risky Especially if you're guilty At the end of the day
