[00:55:20] [SPEAKER_09]: So obviously the standard program is that your defense attorney

[00:55:25] [SPEAKER_09]: usually has a handful of early motions they file,

[00:55:29] [SPEAKER_09]: early pleadings when they first start.

[00:55:32] [SPEAKER_09]: I think they're cookie cutter.

[00:55:34] [SPEAKER_09]: I don't think they're very specific to the majority of cases

[00:55:36] [SPEAKER_09]: because you get the retainer that goes in.

[00:55:39] [SPEAKER_09]: A lot of times that retainer and a little more money

[00:55:41] [SPEAKER_09]: is all the defendant has

[00:55:43] [SPEAKER_09]: because obviously these cases are prohibitively expensive.

[00:55:46] [SPEAKER_09]: When you have obviously defense attorneys charging you $500

[00:55:49] [SPEAKER_09]: to $1,200 an hour, it doesn't take long.

[00:55:51] [SPEAKER_09]: You know, 0.15, walk to the water cooler, 0.20,

[00:55:55] [SPEAKER_09]: call the client three times he didn't answer.

[00:55:57] [SPEAKER_09]: By the time you get your bill, your entire retainer is gone

[00:56:00] [SPEAKER_09]: but that's not the issue.

[00:56:01] [SPEAKER_09]: So they file these cookie cutter motions

[00:56:03] [SPEAKER_09]: and then what happens is the DOJ prosecutor files a motion

[00:56:08] [SPEAKER_09]: alleging one thing or another denying the motions,

[00:56:11] [SPEAKER_09]: denying a bond or otherwise.

[00:56:13] [SPEAKER_09]: But here's something you can look for Dave.

[00:56:14] [SPEAKER_09]: Take these motions sticking into any one of the AIs.

[00:56:33] [SPEAKER_09]: modify the actual meaning and determination of the case.

[00:56:38] [SPEAKER_09]: Is it done such a way that what he's doing

[00:56:41] [SPEAKER_09]: is basically manipulating the law to fit his motion,

[00:56:45] [SPEAKER_09]: not because of the law actually supports the motion,

[00:56:48] [SPEAKER_09]: but he's actually misquoting the law

[00:56:50] [SPEAKER_09]: so actually it will support the motion

[00:56:51] [SPEAKER_09]: even though the case doesn't follow what he says.

[00:56:55] [SPEAKER_09]: But okay, you're gonna find out that that is done

[00:56:59] [SPEAKER_09]: in every case that's used in a motion

[00:57:03] [SPEAKER_09]: by the Department of Justice prosecutors,

[00:57:05] [SPEAKER_09]: 30 to 80% of time they are misquoting the law,

[00:57:09] [SPEAKER_09]: meaning that they've actually taken

[00:57:10] [SPEAKER_09]: the actual ruling on the case,

[00:57:12] [SPEAKER_09]: the judge's determination of the case,

[00:57:15] [SPEAKER_09]: the judge's quote about the case,

[00:57:16] [SPEAKER_09]: and they're literally doctoring it.

[00:57:18] [SPEAKER_09]: Now you would think that the defense counsels

[00:57:21] [SPEAKER_09]: would go ballistic because it's pretty simple to do this.

[00:57:23] [SPEAKER_09]: An average American, not a lawyer,

[00:57:25] [SPEAKER_09]: not a lawyer can easily do this.

[00:57:28] [SPEAKER_09]: The defense counsels don't do it at all

[00:57:30] [SPEAKER_09]: because they go to the same poker clubs,

[00:57:32] [SPEAKER_09]: they go to the same golf courses,

[00:57:34] [SPEAKER_09]: they go to the same events.

[00:57:35] [SPEAKER_09]: They've got half a dozen cases in front of this prosecutor.

[00:57:39] [SPEAKER_09]: Again, maybe if you're Donald Trump

[00:57:42] [SPEAKER_09]: you might get real justice,

[00:57:45] [SPEAKER_09]: meaning you might get real defense counsel

[00:57:47] [SPEAKER_09]: attempting to do the right thing.

[00:57:59] [SPEAKER_09]: and if you took 20 cases and put them in the system,

[00:58:04] [SPEAKER_09]: the prosecutors use these tactics in 20 cases?

[00:58:34] [SPEAKER_08]: the bar card carriers just like the prosecuting attorneys are.

[00:58:39] [SPEAKER_08]: the club that you talk about.

[00:58:41] [SPEAKER_08]: They all hang out in the same poker rooms

[00:58:43] [SPEAKER_08]: and the, you know, the Stogies and everything else

[00:58:45] [SPEAKER_08]: that we all hear about these backroom conversations.

[00:58:47] [SPEAKER_08]: And the thing is that they all go in front of the same judge

[00:58:50] [SPEAKER_08]: and they all sit there in the chambers

[00:58:51] [SPEAKER_08]: and talk about stuff.

[00:58:52] [SPEAKER_08]: We already know what they do, but here's the problem.

[00:58:55] [SPEAKER_08]: When the other side comes in like this attorney did

[00:58:58] [SPEAKER_08]: and they put in false pleadings

[00:58:59] [SPEAKER_08]: and the defense attorney is not prepared.

[00:59:01] [SPEAKER_08]: Here's the biggest fallacy that any defense attorney

[00:59:04] [SPEAKER_08]: doesn't matter whether it's a criminal case,

[00:59:06] [SPEAKER_08]: doesn't matter whether it's a foreclosure case,
