[00:00:01] [SPEAKER_03]: ive busy because if the last few days or any indication it will be hard for me even in this

[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_01]: one hour to pack in all the things that have happened over the weekend will do our best. But at

[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_01]: the same time I hope you'll stay with us each day here on Point of View as we go through some

[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_01]: of the material that we'll be covering. Of course we'll come back and talk about the hurricane in just

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_01]: a minute, but let me also mention that our first article is of course about the decision that

[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Israel made to take out effectively and successfully the leader of his below who is Hassan

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Nassurata. And so we'll talk about what that means in terms of the ongoing battle because as you

[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_01]: heard last week, especially when we talk with Gary Frazier, Israel is facing kind of a three front

[00:01:07] [SPEAKER_01]: war and this could be devastating for that small country. They of course have been fighting

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Hamas to the southwest. They are now concerned about what has happened in the north with

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_01]: his below. They've already fired 8,000 rockets towards them and then of course now the

[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_01]: possibility of some kind of very significant outreach or incursion from what is oftentimes referred

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_01]: to as the West Bank or Judy and Samaria. And of course those of from the Palestinian Authority. So

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_01]: we are dealing with some marriage major issues in the Middle East. But if that was not enough,

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_01]: we mentioned it on Friday only because it just came out but Jim Garry put it this way in one of

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_01]: the most jaw-dropping Friday afternoon news dumps. And if you don't understand that oftentimes when

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: it's really bad news, what oftentimes the administration does, whether it's the White House or

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_01]: this case, it's immigration and customs enforcement is they drop the bad news in the afternoon

[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_01]: on Friday with the idea that it would take all the way to Monday for a lot of the news

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_01]: organizations to deal with this. But again in this jaw-dropping as he calls it Friday afternoon

[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_01]: news dump, the US immigration and customs enforcement revealed that the agencies' docket includes

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_01]: 662,000 illegal immigrants, either that had a criminal conviction or also awaiting a verdict in a

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_01]: criminal case. This includes more than 13,000 convicted murders, more than 15,000 convicted sexual

[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_01]: convicted of sexual assault, more than 2500 convicted of kidnapping and more than 62,000

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_01]: convicted of assault. Now the reason we even have these in numbers is because representative

[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Tony Gonzalez, who we've had on this program before, he is a Republican who represents a district

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_01]: that covers a great deal of the Southwestern border of Texas. Back, wasn't I think it was in March,

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: if I remember correctly, yes, I'm corrected as in March. Ask for these pieces of information

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_01]: on illegal immigrants on the docket of ICE. Now nearly six months later, finally the ICE

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Deputy Director responded to the request by the mother of all Friday afternoon news dumps,

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_01]: those are the words of Jim Garry. Again, as of July 2024, 660,000, 660,000, 660,

[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_01]: illegal immigrants on the ICE's docket have a criminal history of those 435,000 719 or

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_01]: convicted criminals to it in 26,847 illegal immigrants pending criminal charges. This is just

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_01]: mind-belog it, Boeing and again, if this does not come up tomorrow night in the vice presidential debate,

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_01]: if the individuals who are the moderators don't ask these questions tomorrow night,

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: you can then just be content to turn off the television and give up on any possible objectivity

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_01]: on the part of the mainstream press. These are just unbelievable numbers and illustrate again

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_01]: some of the issues that we'll be talking about. And of course, when we're in the midst of a campaign,

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_01]: also a very important piece that is come up by Beckett Adams on the abortion disinformation complex,

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_01]: which we'll get into hopefully this hour may or may not have time for Victor Davis Hanson

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_01]: on to doberg's surprises, but we'll do what we can. And of course, also a very important piece

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_01]: coming out now from Robert F. Kennedy Jr and we'll get to that if we can, some of this,

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_01]: we'll just have to be postponed to tomorrow because all of this has happened just bang,

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_01]: bang, bang, and of course we will be talking tomorrow about some of the issues related to Tim Walsh

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_01]: and also JD Vance. The lies and misrepresentation misinformation, frankly from both of them,

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: so we'll try to explain some of that as well. Some of the statements being made about the service

[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_01]: of Tim Walsh, some of the statements being made by Tim, JD Vance about Springfield,

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I will try to get into some of that. And if it isn't covered by the debate, we'll try to cover

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_01]: that on Wednesday. So a lot to cover, but let me just mention again that we had a category for

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_01]: hurricane that hit Florida and for all the devastation in Florida, my perception is the Carolina's

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_01]: in particular North Carolina, especially if you look at the devastation in Asheville, North Carolina,

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_01]: just unbelievable in which the city of Asheville say that the storm damaged the production and

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_01]: distribution system of the water system. There's an need for extensive repairs for the

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_01]: treatment facilities underground and above ground water pipes, roads to and from of course,

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_01]: if you've seen any of the videos and pictures of some of the bridges that have collapsed just

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_01]: incredible. But as we go to a break, let me just put out a warning and that is, just don't

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_01]: think that because a particular area of the country was devastated by the hurricane,

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_01]: that somehow that was God's judgment. I've got in front of me here, a post that comes from

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_01]: a professor at the University of Kentucky, Betsy Packards, and sits now become nationwide,

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess everybody knows that she actually said, is it possible that God is punishing

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_01]: mega populations for their hate in hypocrisy? And so the implication here is is that,

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_01]: well, the reason that these individuals have been punished, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina,

[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_01]: North Carolina, is because God hates the people in those regions. Seriously,

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_01]: by the way, in case you think that's a one-off. Back when Hurricane Harvey hit Houston,

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_01]: a number of years ago, there were liberals that refused to donate anything because the Lone Star

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_01]: State voted Republican. And I can remember back many, many years ago when we had Hurricane Katrina,

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_01]: some people, sometimes now on the right saying, well, the reason Hurricane hit New Orleans

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_01]: because of the gambling there and it's kind of sin city, and we wanted to cut that off pretty quickly.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_01]: But I think it is a typical reaction, especially on the left, but I gave you one example,

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe some of the colors fall in the right, that will certainly see that some kind of hurricane

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_01]: tornado, earthquake, whatever, is God's judgment against these individuals. And first of all,

[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_01]: it's kind of hard to justify that because as one person said, Betsy Packard needs to know that

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_01]: is about as left wing as it comes and kind of the San Francisco of the East Coast. But if nothing

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_01]: else, maybe we need to come back to what Jesus said in the sermon on the Mount, remember in Matthew 25,

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Matthew 5 vs. 45 I should say about the rain falls and the just and the unjust. The rain falls

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_01]: on the righteous and the unrighteous, the venue translation. And I think it is time for people on either

[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_01]: left or the right to stop saying that a hurricane, a tornado or an earthquake is God's judgment.

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_01]: It is the fact that we live in a fallen world. Anyway, let's move on to some other very important issues.

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Talk about that right after this. This is Peter Ponce with Kirby Anderson.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Early this month, the federal open market committee of the Federal Reserve cut the short-term

[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_01]: interest rate target by 50 basis points. The financial world was waiting to see what the

[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell would announce, even after it happened, commentators were

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_01]: contrasting the words of Powell with his actions and suggesting he was more worried than he sounds.

[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Guess that I've had on my radio program like to make interesting comments about the Federal Reserve.

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_01]: The Federal Reserve they might say is an federal agency and is doubtful reserves.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And it might say that the chairman of the Federal Reserve is the most powerful person in America.

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_01]: What should we think about all of this? Well, the Federal Reserve has a dual mandate to keep

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_01]: inflation low at 2%. And also to keep unemployment low. It engages in what is called monetary

[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_01]: policy and an attempt to achieve those two goals. This central bank was established in late December

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_01]: 1913 if you want to read how it was created. You might want to read the book The Creature from

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Jekyll Island which is now in its fifth edition. As I have talked about in previous commentaries,

[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_01]: the Federal Reserve has had to print money to finance the massive government spending during

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_01]: these last few decades. In one interview, Jerome Powell explained that we have the ability

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_01]: to create money digitally and we do that by buying treasury bills or bonds or other government

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_01]: guaranteed securities. He also added in another interview that the Federal Reserve has become

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_01]: the most important factor in the global economy. You know, last year, the Wall Street Journal wrote

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_01]: that Jerome Powell has become the most powerful economic voice in America. Perhaps now you can see

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_01]: so many people pay attention to what Jerome Powell says and what the Federal Reserve does.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm Kirby Anderson and that's my point of view. For a free copy of Kirby's booklet,

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_03]: a biblical view on critical race theory, go to viewpoints.info slash CRT.

[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Point up view, finding clarity in the chaos. Hi, this is Lee Strobel author,

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_02]: the case for Christ. Kirby Anderson does a tremendous job of giving us a regular diet of evidence

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_02]: of logic, of God's truth from his word so that we can continue to do what first Peter 315

[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_02]: tells us to always prepare to give an answer to everyone who asks us to give the reason for the

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_02]: hope that we have and to do it gently and with respect. So I am a huge fan of Kirby. I'm a huge fan

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_02]: of point of view. I know that you probably are as well. That's why you're listening and I hope

[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_02]: you'll get behind them, support them so that this ministry can continue on into the future

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_03]: and flourish even more next year than this year. Finding clarity in the chaos. Point up view.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_01]: In Emia, we said if you missed truth team last week, you can still get involved and we give you

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_01]: link on that website, of course you can also call 800-347-5151. If you would like to help

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_01]: put us over the top, we would greatly appreciate it. We had of course a truth team week last week.

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: You can go to the website as well. Point of view.net. As you go to that website, you're going

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_01]: to find something else. The first article comes from the Wall Street Journal in which they talk

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_01]: about the Israeli strike against the leader of his below Hassan Nassurah. You might say,

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_01]: well what's the significance of this? Well, I want to read this piece and another one that

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_01]: came out recently. But also if you are keeping track, and I know you probably aren't, but there

[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_01]: are people in the Pentagon and even sometimes in the State Department that keep track,

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I saw one that showed the leadership of Hamas and there were exes over almost every one of the

[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: faces. It started happening also with his below. And when you have the leaders of the terrorist

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_01]: network being eliminated, and that to the credit of Israel, that if anything could be the best

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_01]: possibility for peace in the Middle East. I don't have any great expectation that just taking

[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_01]: out the head of a snake is going to eliminate all of the snake. But I do have a sense that these

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_01]: terrorist leaders that are certainly evil people by their own actions statements we can certainly

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_01]: say that. And the Wall Street Journal put it this way. They said the press is predictably describing

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Israel's strike again, his below leader Hassan Nassurah as Eskatole, Eskatole, in other words,

[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Eskatole. And it says it isn't. The escalation started against Israel last October 7th.

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to come up to that unfortunate one-year anniversary very soon with the massacre by

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Hamas followed a day later by rockets fired by Hezbollah that haven't stopped coming and have

[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_01]: made Israel's north uninhabitable. I know people that live there, and I know what it is done to them.

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, it goes on to say that Saturday's strike was a justified defense against the leader of an

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Ron-backed terrorist proxy war against Israel. They go on to say that Israel has exhibited

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_01]: remarkable restraint for nearly a year in response to Hezbollah's rocket and missile attacks

[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_01]: some 9,000 in all. And I love the editors of the Wall Street Journal. They tried to make it a little

[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_01]: more significant for an American. That restraint ended this month, as it would if the United

[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_01]: States had a terror proxy based in Mexico and were firing rockets in San Antonio, Texas.

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Of course, change any of the dates places and you could get the idea that we would not allow

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_01]: 9,000 rockets to land in San Antonio, Texas, or even it wouldn't have to even go that far

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_01]: in the Laredo Texas, or Eagle past Texas, or other places where that is the case. And again,

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_01]: he goes on and they go on to say that Israel has changed its strategy from a tithratat response

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_01]: to a preemptive campaign to degrade Hezbollah's missile stores, launchers, and military leadership.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_01]: These are all justified targets in war. Its tragic when civilians are also killed, but it's

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_01]: war has been lost fault. They say, Nestorala, who knew he was a markman located his hideout

[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_01]: under residential buildings. These are cowards. They go on to say Israel's campaign has been

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_01]: a remarkable display of intelligence, technological skill, and above all political will.

[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_01]: The sabotage of Hezbollah's pages and walkie talkies wounding or killing scores of fighters,

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_01]: it targeted bombings against Hezbollah's terror masters showed how much Israeli intelligence

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_01]: has penetrated its communications. Another article, it was entitled Ding Dong Nestorala's dead,

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_01]: and I guess you can get the illustration there. But again, they say when the smoke cleared six

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: buildings in the quarter of a suburban bay route, targeted by Israeli war planes were gone,

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_01]: collapsed into themselves, subsuming underneath the underground bunker system that house,

[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_01]: his Boulas High, is ranking commanders because they took out not only of course,

[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_01]: humongous, and that's all about others. They say it would be difficult to overstate

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Nestorala's significance to the terrorist organizations he led, and the blow it represented by

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Nestorala took the role of his Boulas Secretary General Fall into demise of his predecessor

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: in the hands of the IDF over 30 years ago. He oversaw the terrorist sex councils and sub-councils,

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_01]: its judicial parliamentary, and its jihad assemblies had led an organization estimated to be

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_01]: capable of feeling up to 50,000 fighters with around 150,000 missiles, rockets, and drones

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_01]: at their disposal. He was the most reliable of Iran's proxies, the commander of the strongest

[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_01]: militia in the region, and now he is gone. Again, might not be covered very much in terms of the press,

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_01]: but it certainly is something that was worth mentioning today here on point of view. Our second article

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_01]: is one that also comes from the Wall Street Journal, which they actually title it, how Harris

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_01]: spends our spins a new border tale in which they said that on Friday, of course the Vice

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_01]: President and then the Presidential nominee on the Democratic Party come to Harris,

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_01]: actually stopped at the U.S. Mexico border for what they called her Reinvention Tour,

[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_01]: and defended her record, but again, they said defending her record will take more than a

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_01]: rejecting a bipartisan Senate deal as we did as well. The Wall Street Journal is very critical of

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_01]: it as well, but again, she blew past the steps that she and President Biden failed to take

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_01]: for more than three years as illegal immigrant border crossing surged record levels. For those of you

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_01]: that have access to a computer, our screen we're going to show that graph in just a minute,

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_01]: but as she actually came to, of course, Douglas Arizona, she said, he said, the editors,

[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_01]: the residents in border towns like Douglas Arizona aren't likely to forget how security is

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_01]: unraveled on her administration's watch. More than 10 million migrants have been apprehended nationwide

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_01]: during the Biden presidency with a peak of 3.2 million last fiscal year. That compares with

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_01]: 3 million total for the entire time under President Trump. For those of you that actually have

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_01]: access to a computer, I have the graph in front of us here, or you can go to the actual article

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_01]: on the website, and you will see that it'll are during the entire time during Donald Trump. We

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_01]: actually were able to apprehend 3 million over that time, and during age year more than 3 million

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_01]: people can see as it jumps up dramatically, showing once again the fact that we are dealing with

[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_01]: something that is completely unprecedented. So tomorrow night, again, I would be really discouraged

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_01]: in a matter of fact, of probably a little bit angry if they don't talk about the fact that

[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_01]: on Friday we had this incredible dump of information from immigration and customs enforcement

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_01]: who in addition are the fact that we have now more than 10 million individuals crossing

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_01]: and as a result, after being apprehended, we have 662,000 illegal immigrants who either have

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_01]: a criminal conviction or are awaiting a verdict in a criminal case. 13,000 convicted murders

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_01]: 15,000 that are convicted of sexual assault, 62,000 convicted of assault. And we are dealing with

[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_01]: an incredible crisis at the border and a little bit of hand waving that comes from the vice

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_01]: president or even tomorrow night, from the governor of Minnesota, shouldn't be enough to set aside

[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_01]: some real concerns that the American people have had and should continue to have in light of

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_01]: some of these statistics. But let's take a break, you can read the article about the

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_01]: killing of the Hizballa leader. You read the one about the new border tale that comes from

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Kamala Harris, but we'll come back and get into a couple of other very important issues,

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_01]: all of which should pretty much transpired over the weekend, either on Friday or Saturday.

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's why we're trying to cover as many of them as we can here on Monday, right here,

[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_01]: on point of view. Could be a good time to call if you'd like to join the truth team,

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_03]: 1800, 347, 5151. In 19th century London, two towering historical figures did battle,

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_03]: not with guns and bombs but words and ideas. London was home to Karl Marx, the father of communism,

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_03]: and legendary Baptist preacher Charles Fergen. London was in many ways the center of the world

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_03]: economically, militarily and intellectually. Marx sought to destroy religion, the family,

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_03]: and everything the Bible supports. Spurgeon stood against him, warning of socialism's dangers.

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Spurgeon understood Christianity is not just religious truth, it is truth for all of life.

[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Where do you find men with that kind of wisdom to stand against darkness today?

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Get the light you need on today's most pressing issues,

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Every weekday, in less than two minutes, you'll learn how to be a person of light to stand against

[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_03]: darkness in our time. It's free so visit pointofview.net slash sign up right now.

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Pointofview.net slash sign up. Pointofview will continue at you are listening to point of view.

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_03]: The opinions expressed on point of view do not necessarily reflect the views of the management

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_03]: or staff of the station and now here again is Kirby Anderson. Back once again,

[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_01]: you know that you're in the midst of a political campaign because some of the war is being

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_01]: actually fought on social media. So one of those, when we're talking about this issue of immigration,

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_01]: was where the former president Donald Trump called out the US Customs and Border Protection

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Organization because they have an app a mobile application that holds a single portal to multiple

[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_01]: customer-port or protection services, including space for immigrants to schedule appointments to

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_01]: present themselves at the port of entry. Do you believe that? I mean in other words,

[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to come into your country illegally. I'm going to claim that I need asylum in which I'd say

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_01]: 80 to 90% of the asylum applications get rejected because there's no justification for it.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_01]: But I want to do that in a very effective way so I'll use an app. Well, President or former

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_01]: president should say Donald Trump made this statement the other day and the Harris

[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_01]: walls campaign thought it was so hilarious that they posted on social media. First of all,

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_01]: here's what Donald Trump said. They, that is the immigrants, have a phone app so that people can

[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_01]: come into our country. He says they're smart immigrants. I guess because most people don't have any

[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_01]: idea what a phone app is. Well, then of course they had lots of fun suggesting that if indeed

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_01]: met effect a lot of people even puzzled on things like X and other places about the comment

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_01]: that somehow Donald Trump doesn't believe that these people know what phone apps are,

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_01]: which you know, was probably a silly comment because I think most people even listening to this

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_01]: program even if you aren't really into social media. Probably know what a phone app is,

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_01]: but I think it was just a good way actually to disguise all the things we've talked about

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_01]: more than 60,000 individuals that we now know are on the docket for sexual crimes 13,000

[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_01]: convicted for homicide in the rest, but even Katie Pavlovich points out the other day that again

[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_01]: this administration is overseen which he calls the largest influx of illegal immigration and history.

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And one of the comments which caught my attention, Katie Pavlovich says, for human traffickers

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_01]: the past three and a half years have been good for business, raking in $100 million a week

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_01]: and $5 billion per year. There are some people that are benefiting from those who are crossing

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_01]: over into this country and those are the individuals engaged in trafficking.

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Long run, a long way I think we'll also see that the Democratic Party will be able to benefit

[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_01]: because if those individuals have come here and then are granted some kind of path to citizenship,

[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_01]: the expectation is always that they will actually vote Democratic and I will maybe tomorrow

[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_01]: read a piece that Elon Musk wrote about that as well. But again, she argues that this is there

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_01]: is really only one explanation for why now the number she's using is 15 million people have been

[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_01]: allowed into this country with no plans to ever make them leave and then use the issue against

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Republicans and either in order to solidify permanent Democratic power through mass amnesty.

[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And that was something that essentially was admitted by the vice president, now presidential candidate,

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Kamal Harris. She said quote in MSNBC quote, we need a comprehensive plan that includes what we need

[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_01]: to do to fortified not only our border but deal with the fact that we need to create pathways

[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_01]: for people to earn citizenship. And so the implication is is that bringing in again,

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Katie Pavliss uses the number 15 million and then turned them into voters for citizens

[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_01]: then voters and you can begin to think about as we've talked about before the seven swing states,

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Arizona and Georgia and Nevada North Carolina was constant menace of Michigan, Pennsylvania,

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_01]: that these will then ultimately no longer be swing states because you will have

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_01]: a disproportion number of individuals in those regions and other countries, parts of the country as well,

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_01]: who will be voting Democrat. And that will be the end of anything that looks like a two-party

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_01]: system and that seems to be the plan and that's essentially what Kamal Harris said at MSNBC

[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_01]: just the other day. So again, the focus is on isn't that silly, isn't that funny that Donald Trump

[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_01]: made this comment about people that might not know what apps are to deflect from the fact that

[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_01]: well we do have an enormous number of people in this country here illegally and we now know because

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_01]: of that Friday afternoon news dump that a good number of those individuals are on the

[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_01]: end of the day. But just before we take a break, let me also maybe diverge just a little bit

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_01]: from the presidential campaign to look at what is happening at these various other campaigns as well

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_01]: and Beckett Adams writes about what he calls the rise of the abortion disinformation complex.

[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_01]: He says of course the Harris campaign once abortion to be the central issue in the Democratic

[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_01]: National Committee wants it to be a very important issue as well. And so the focus is to put hand

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_01]: in glove, a media that's also willing to go along with some of these talking points, even some which

[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_01]: are Ronius and false, and then use that to then bring about a significant change in the election.

[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_01]: He says the effort goes something like this, a Democrat aligned outlet prints a pro abortion

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_01]: story this at least flimsy are worst and outright misrepresentation. I'm thinking of Texas and Georgia

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_01]: examples right now that are very visible in that were games. Pro abortion legislatures take

[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_01]: a story to Congress where they introduce a proposal to promote a related piece of pro abortion

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_01]: legislation. The pro abortion legislator cites the pro abortion story explicitly as justification

[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_01]: for legislative action. Republicans call it out for the political theater that it is,

[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_01]: the attempt fails and then the next new cycle we see Republicans block efforts to protect all

[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_01]: men elsewhere or the Republican opposed Republicans opposed protecting women and children,

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_01]: and it's a closed loop system. There is a phrase for that which I thought I would introduce to you

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_01]: for the first time, and it's called stove piping. And that is an issue situation in which specific

[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_01]: kind of information is laundered between reporters and government actors, and then the officials

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_01]: use the press to confirm the story they provided to the press in the first place. Matt Taibi,

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_01]: who used to be of course with Rolling Stone and now has become a lot more independent,

[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_01]: points out how that's been used by the Intelligence Committee Commission time and time again,

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_01]: and the same kind of thing that has been sometimes used probably the best example we oftentimes

[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_01]: were seen when you were talking about Russian disinformation and then how you had, what was it?

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_01]: 50 plus individuals actually claiming that the Hunter Biden laptop was just something that was

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Russian disinformation. So they feed the story to the press, the press covers the story,

[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_01]: and then use the story to cover your particular allegations in the first place. And Beckett Adams

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_01]: uses that as a good example of, for example right now, the story coming out of Georgia,

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_01]: which we might get to in the future about the argument being made that because you have a pro-life

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_01]: legislation in Georgia or I've got another one here that comes from Kelly Keller. Kelly Keller's

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: been on our program about using the same kind of illustration in Texas, that then that's the reason

[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_01]: why women are actually being hurt. The one by Kelly Keller, I probably will cover tomorrow because

[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_01]: it's again has one of those incredible graphs which actually is illustrative of the fact that as I'm

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_01]: holding it right now, it shows that all the arguments that these problems have increased,

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_01]: actually if you look at their own graphs they've actually decreased and I love it in one place where

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_01]: she says, are we looking at the same article here because as she says according to the NBC,

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_01]: that'd be the NBC television networks own data, maternal mortality rates in Texas took a

[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_01]: nose dive after the Texas Heartbeat Law window into effect. And that's not exactly the same

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_01]: as a 56% increase and so even sometimes they will show you the graph and then tell you not to

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_01]: leave the graph and come up with numbers that aren't even accurate. So this is the kind of manipulation

[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_01]: that is taking place and if you'd like to at least read a little bit more about it, I think

[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Beckett Adams wrote this piece in National Review. It might be behind a paywall which is why we

[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_01]: provided to you so you don't have to have a subscription to National Review of which you have a closed

[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_01]: loop system in which each particular death, which is always a very sad thing from a woman maybe

[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_01]: using an abortion pill, is then in a closed loop system or stove piping used to justify passing

[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_01]: pro abortion legislation. We'll see how it works but it's a good illustration again for you

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_01]: to have discernment in the midst of disinformation being passed out in so many different media channels

[00:33:44] [SPEAKER_03]: will be right back. Point up view by being clarity in the chaos. I believe that we're an appearing

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_00]: our American history right now where the truth is becoming a lie and the lies becoming the truth.

[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And use stand against that every single day step into the arena you confront those lies,

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_00]: you do it in a win some way, you do it in a very informed way and I think you are the salt and

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_00]: light needed in the public square. And so I champion you, we believe in you, we support you.

[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Not only do we encourage others to join you but we do that personally. We're a member of the

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_00]: truth team because truth is what sets us free and ultimately if we don't have truth the world turns

[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_00]: upside down it feels upside down right now Kirby. We need more help during a time like this

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_00]: and certainly and I would put our way and asking people to come and join point of view and be a

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_03]: word of the truth soon. Finding clarity in the chaos point of view has wind down today.

[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Let me just mention that do we heard from least trouble and now of course struck mentally.

[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Both of whom have actually supported point of view so are asking you to do the same thing they do

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_01]: in many other listeners. So if you haven't had a chance to join with us again, we sent out about

[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_01]: two hours ago an email that says if you missed truth team last week you can still get involved

[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_01]: and so we would love for you to help us reach our goal. And if you can do so that website is point of view.

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Net you can follow the link that we provide on the email. Of course you can go to the website

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_01]: and find it. Of course, if you ever want to talk to someone, we still have people answering the

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_01]: phones at 800 347 5151 800 347 5151. Last article here is October surprise. I want you to be

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_01]: ready for an October surprise. Now sometimes the surprises just happen and nobody manipulates them.

[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_01]: In 2008 we had an economic downturn and that I think was very significant in guaranteeing

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_01]: the election of Barack Obama. We can also, of course, recognize that this time there is going to be

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I think there's evidence that we're already moving into a recession but also going to be a slow down in

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_01]: the various supply chains because of some things we talked about on Friday with dock workers. But many

[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_01]: of these October surprises are created and I think we should watch for those and Victor Davis

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Hanson puts it this way. He says an October surprise is usually defined as the well-known and more

[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_01]: often left-wing tactic of manufacturing or unloading a new story right before voting to surprise

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_01]: a rival without allowing them sufficient time to recover or to respond. He says for example,

[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_01]: think of the last minute bomb shell disclosure five days before the 2000 election that candidate

[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_01]: George W. Bush had been cited for drunk driving over a quarter century earlier that surprise

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_01]: may have caused Bush the popular vote that year probably did. Some of the revelations right now

[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_01]: in the Governor's Resonance Carolina come into that line but sometimes as Victor Davis Hanson says

[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_01]: an incumbent can use his powers of office to warp an election. President Joe Biden benefited

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_01]: from the 2022 mid-term elections when left as activists leaked the impending Supreme Court

[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_01]: repeal of Roe V Wade. I think that still is having an impact as well. Close to the actual voting

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Biden sought to cancel hundreds of billions of dollars of student debt owed to the federal government,

[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_01]: he also began draining the strategic petroleum reserve to lower gas prices.

[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_01]: As he is, by the way, doing again this time and so you can see why some people have said

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe that so-called red wave that was supposed to take place in 2022 turned out to be nothing

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_01]: more than a tiny ripple but he goes on to remind us if we go back four years or even eight years

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_01]: we can see some others. Let's take a 2016 where Hillary Clinton's team leaked news of a steel

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_01]: dossier which we now know was bogus but that was supposed proof of a Trump Russian collusion.

[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That was in 2016. What about 2020? Will on the eve of the 2020 presidential debate, Joe Biden

[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_01]: delegated new Now Secretary of State Antony Blinken to work with former interim CIA director

[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Mike Morell to round up what? 51 former intelligence authorities and they actually said in their

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_01]: document that the Hunter Biden laptop was likely a product of Russian intelligence disinformation.

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Those 51 as well as of course Antony Blinken and Morell knew that wasn't true. We know that they

[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_01]: knew it wasn't true but they said it anyway and as again what you have is Victor Davis Hanson saying

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_01]: the rules worked turning the potential proof of Biden family corruption into sort of a replay of the

[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_01]: all sorts of possibilities and of course one other very timely illustration is President Zalinski

[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_01]: came to this country 43 days at the time before the election and did so at U.S. government expense

[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_01]: of course also spoke but also then took the time to tour a munitions plant in Pennsylvania which

[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_01]: are making artillery shells likely destined for Ukraine and thus sending a signal that if indeed

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_01]: you want to continue to support Ukraine then you need in Pennsylvania to vote for Kamala Harris

[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_01]: and all the things that the Harris were first of all the Biden Harris campaign and administration

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_01]: has done and that's another one of those examples and by the way then while he was here

[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Ukrainian President also then said that Donald Trump was not a good running not a good president

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_01]: and the Vice President shall candidate JD Vance was too radical. A topic I'm sure that will probably

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_01]: be the first question tomorrow night who cares what the president of Ukraine has to say but I virtually

[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_01]: guarantee that will be the first question to JD Vance. Was that any kind of October surprise

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_01]: probably are there others to come some of this still think that it is quite possible the

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Joe Biden will step down and then he will make Kamala Harris then the President of the United

[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_01]: States at that point if indeed that is a case I hope most Americans will see through that

[00:41:11] [SPEAKER_01]: but I do believe that that could be enough to elect her because you could then have people

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_01]: in the press saying she has only been the president for 30 days let's give her a chance it's

[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_01]: the first time we had a woman as president don't vote against the first woman who is been

[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_01]: a president of the United States can you hear the rhetoric I can hear it right now so again be

[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_01]: aware that sometimes these October surprises come and they many times have been very effective

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_01]: which is why we've seen them in the first place we'll see over the next 30 plus days I guess it's

[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_01]: actually five weeks but 30 plus days almost 40 days in which we I think can come to the reason of

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_01]: a conclusion that we haven't seen all of the October surprises and that's why you as a voter need

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_01]: to have some discernment if they're going to have another October surprise they need to have

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_01]: it soon because early voting is starting to pick up and that will be too late for some of the

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_01]: individuals that have already voted in some of those various elections as I said we covered a lot

[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_01]: there's some things I still left on the table but we'll try to get to those tomorrow and I just

[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_01]: mentioned tomorrow we'll talk about this new film white bird powerful film we'll talk about that briefly

[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_01]: by the end of the program we'll also talk about the intersection between theology and economics

[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_01]: and of course we'll cover many other stories in the news so I hope that you'll join us every

[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_01]: single day here on point of view go to the website you can find all of these articles that I have

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_01]: mentioned all four of those articles are available on the website use them go to election central

[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_01]: learn a little bit more about how to vote and pass that on to your friends neighbors and co-workers

[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_01]: when i think Megan for help engineering the program Steve thank you for producing the program we'll

[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_03]: write here on point of view who can you trust years ago many of us could probably have provided a

[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_03]: fairly long list but today well today it seems we almost can't trust anyone educators don't

[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_03]: even know what a woman is anymore many so-called public servants have shown all they care about

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_03]: themselves the FBI has been accused of bias law breaking betrayal and journalism it's largely

[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_03]: corrupt with no clerk can't standing up for truth justice in the american way all of this is why

[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_03]: point of view radio is more important than ever and your part in supporting us is more needed than ever

[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_03]: do your part today and supporting trustworthy truth stand with us and help push back the lies
