[00:00:03] [SPEAKER_08]: A cross of narrow.

[00:00:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Line. This is Point of View.

[00:00:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Last hour of Truth Team Week, 1-800-3475151, and we want to talk in just a minute with

[00:00:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Jenna Weidler who is our Vice President of Stewardship but I thought we'd come back in studio

[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_06]: first of all to Colin Lambert and how are we doing?

[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_05]: Or do in grade we've got a $10,000 dollar for dollar matching challenge on the board.

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_05]: From last hour we need to finish that up because we've got some more dollars waiting

[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_05]: matching dollars but we need to wrap up this $10,000 dollar for dollar match first.

[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_05]: What does that mean? It's simple. It means your gift is doubled and this is the final

[00:00:54] [SPEAKER_05]: hour of Truth Team Week of the Broadcast of Truth Team Week.

[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_05]: And now is the perfect time to call whether you're a first-time giver or you've been

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_05]: giving for some period of time.

[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_05]: Doubling your gift right now is a wonderful way to help us move forward.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_05]: 800-3475151-800-3475151-4261 of that $10,000 is gone.

[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_05]: $5,700 remains but again we need to move through that because we have a big goal

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_05]: still about $70,000 to go today and everybody doing something.

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_05]: This is especially important during these matching dollars. Everybody doing something.

[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_05]: You say I don't have a very big gift to give. Your $25 gift becomes 50.

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_05]: Your $10 a month gift becomes $20 a month. It's impacted a double

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_05]: $5,700.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_06]: You've had a chance to talk with many of them on the phone and what kind of encouragement

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_06]: might you give to some people thinking about whether or not they want to support this ministry?

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, hi, Kirby. It's good to be on again today. I want to share with you about a

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_01]: call I received earlier today. It was a woman named Jenny from Illinois and she told me that

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_01]: she was in her car and kind of going through this channels on the station on her radio station

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_01]: and stopped on point of view. And memories of her mother came flooding back as she remembered

[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_01]: her mom listening to Marlon Maddox and you Kirby over the past few years, over the years.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_01]: She immediately pulled her car over and called in to give a gift in memory of her mother.

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And I asked her what her mother's name was and I looked back in our database and sure enough,

[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_01]: her mom Veronica was a listener for 38 years and she was a committed supporter of the ministry before

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: she was called home four years ago. So this was just such an a powerful encouragement for me.

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I had prayer with Jenny and she is now on a donor for in a supporter of point of view.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So all of you that are hearing my voice right now, please we need you to call in.

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Please pray about how you can bless this ministry based on how the Lord has blessed you.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_05]: That's so good. And again, that number is 800-3475151-800-3475151.

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_05]: Every gift right now is being doubled also at point of view.

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_06]: One of the benefits, of course, being a donor is to get a chance to talk with Jenna and you can tell what an incredible encouragement she is as well.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Just before we take a break, Kelly, I thought I'd just mention one of these cases you've been holding.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_06]: And many times people hear about the case for the very first time on point of view.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_06]: This has to do with the children of the incinas and this happened in Sanita, California.

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_06]: So you got the incinas and incina, but it gets back to this little booklet I have on transgender.

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_06]: In this case they wanted the older kids to read my shadow is pink about different genders.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_06]: They asked to be opted out and that didn't turn out did it.

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_07]: No, this is an area that I think is a huge area that the law is going to be decided in the next five or six years.

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_07]: And that is who has authority over children? Are they children of the state?

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_07]: Or are they children of the parents?

[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_07]: And this is a great example of the kind of case it's going to determine that.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_07]: What happened here is you've got an elementary school and I want you to think about this.

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_07]: This was your five year older, your kindergarten or your grand daughter or grandson.

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_07]: They ordered all of the fifth graders to read this book to the kindergartners.

[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_07]: So they're forcing the fifth graders to read a book to the kindergartners that is forcing the kindergartners to question their gender.

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Now that's bad enough in another self, right? But it gets worse because one of the fifth graders is a Christian and is like this thing's wrong.

[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_07]: And because some do his parents and his parents reach out to the school and they say, look, we need a religious exemption for our son because we can't.

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_07]: He can't be forced to violate his faith. They said no religious exemptions.

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_07]: So this is a great, this is this puts it your front center. Who is the authority over children? Are these children of the state? Are these children of the parents?

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_07]: Now there are cases going back 100 years that say it's the parents who have the fundamental right to direct the upbringing and the education of their children.

[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_07]: But those were all cases about you can't force them into the private school. They have a right to pick, I mean public school, you have a right to pick private school.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_07]: But what happens if you're in the private school? I mean in the public school compulsory attendance is forcing you in there.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I already get it's very strong. These are not children in the state but this is a great case to be watching and I'd be praying for the family you can imagine.

[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_07]: Hopefully the persecution that they're under, that their fifth greater is under in California.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_07]: But this is one to be watching and praying about very important case again. I don't know if it's on point of view.net yet but it's definitely at first Liberty.org you can see it.

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_07]: It's a case to be following praying for and watching.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_03]: And just a quick mention here, this goes back, could go back to the Supreme Court.

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_06]: We've been talking about that. That's why you have to pay attention to the election which we're going to talk about after the break.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_06]: But Colin, this is a mentoring program for fifth graders with kindergartners and it's a different world isn't it?

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it's like Kelly said it was bad enough just having the fifth greater read to the kindergarten or but then telling the parent that their child can't opt out.

[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_05]: That just takes it to a whole another level and again you don't hear about many of these cases anywhere else but you're hearing about what's happening at point of view.

[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_05]: $1.00 for dollar match, $83475151.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_05]: Every phone should be filled right now with this dollar for dollar for match because your impact is doubled as well.

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_05]: Janice and Georgia, you're $100 as doubled Karen and South Carolina, your 50 as doubled.

[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_05]: She reads and New Mexico, your 50 dollars is doubled looking for 19 gifts of $1,000 or more that could be a hundred dollars a month for the year.

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_05]: And that would give you a $1200 gift if you want to break it up over 12 months, whatever works best for you.

[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_05]: $83475151 or point of view.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_06]: We're going to take a break and this is another great time for you to make that phone call.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_06]: We come back we're going to talk about the election and some things that might affect it may be even an October surprise with what's happened with a dock workers and how that could affect the election.

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_06]: Have a very good piece from the Washington Post about possible election results.

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_06]: I also have one from Gallup more recently about voter registration and of course they have penidectures commentary which we're going to talk about declining birth rates.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_06]: So we have a lot to cover but we will only cover it because of your financial support.

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_06]: So a perfect time to call is right now.

[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_06]: $1,800, $3,475,151 and find all these articles on the website.

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Point of view.net.

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_06]: We'll be right back.

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_08]: This is viewpoints with Kirby Anderson.

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_06]: School shootings have been in the news for two reasons earlier this month.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_06]: We were able to see the full text of the shooter at Covenant School.

[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_06]: The next day the news was about a shooter at a high school in Georgia.

[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_06]: The Covenant School Shooters diary is a reminder of the sad and disturbing thoughts running through those who want to take out their anger under their students.

[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_06]: This trans identifying 28 year old who killed six people had been in psychological counseling for many years.

[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_06]: She manifested all kinds of self hatred and eating disorders.

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_06]: Let me quote from one expert in the article,

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_06]: The Rise in School shootings reflect both mental health and spiritual crisis.

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Dr. Jennifer Bowden's observes were both having a mental health and spiritual crisis

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_06]: and there's not just one factor that contributes to this problem.

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_06]: After looking at the diaries you concluded that this young woman was very oppressed

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_06]: and had lots of spiritual ideas.

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_06]: She also added, you also do see a sort of typical profile of someone who is identifying as transgender

[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_06]: when they're all these other host of mental health issues.

[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_06]: She believes that young people who are dealing with emotional issues and feel alienated from society

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_06]: are attracted to some of these radical ideologies.

[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_06]: This becomes an excuse since all my problems are this issue.

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_06]: That doesn't mean that everyone who identifies as transgender is going to carry out something horrific like this school shooting.

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_06]: In previous commentaries I've documented the mental health crisis affecting the younger generations.

[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Social, psychological and spiritual issues are in play and must be addressed.

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_06]: This is a challenge for the schools and the Church to make a difference in the lives of these troubled young people.

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm Kirby Anderson and this is my point of view.

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_08]: For a pre booklet on a biblical view on Big Data, go to viewpoints.info-slash-data.

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_08]: Point of view, finding clarity in the chaos.

[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Hello, I'm OS Hawkins and what a privilege it is to say these few brief words about how much I love Kirby Anderson

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_00]: and how much I respect the ministry of point of view.

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_00]: You know when a world we're living in when the culture is collapsing and crumbling all around us,

[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_00]: we see some folks rushing out to condemn the culture.

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_00]: They did maybe beat their bibles a little harder and yell a little louder while others compromise the culture and some even condone it.

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_00]: But what I love about point of view is it confronts our culture every day as Kirby speaks the truth

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_00]: and speaks it in love.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_00]: So I want to encourage you to support point of view.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Find clarity in the chaos.

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Point of view.

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Back once again, 1-800-347-5151 and someone just reminded us we say this every day but it's worth mentioning again.

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_06]: You don't have to have colon all the money right now.

[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_06]: It's matter of fact as we've said before, we're hoping some people will join us on a monthly basis.

[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_06]: A dollar, a dollar, a dollar, a dollar, a dollar, a month or $50 a month.

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_06]: A hundred dollars a month.

[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_06]: There are various gifts available to that.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_06]: And in some respects an individual says, look, there is no way I could give you $1200.

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Although we have some individuals who've done that.

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_06]: But a hundred dollars a month, maybe I can do that.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_06]: Or $30 a month, I could maybe do that.

[00:12:26] [SPEAKER_06]: So that's something else to mention.

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_06]: But again, you don't have to have all the money in hand, but we encourage you to call and make that pledge right now.

[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_05]: And we currently are in the middle of a $10,000 dollar dollar for dollar matching challenge.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_05]: So every gift right now is being doubled.

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_05]: You can enjoy your 50 is doubled.

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_05]: Anita in South Carolina, your 50 is doubled.

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_05]: I lean in South Carolina, $50 is doubled.

[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_05]: David in Texas, your $75 a month is doubled.

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_05]: And Melissa and Arizona, your $100 is doubled.

[00:12:56] [SPEAKER_05]: And that gift from David in Texas ends up being more than a thousand dollars.

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_05]: So that's a second thousand dollar gift.

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_05]: So now 18 gifts of a thousand dollars or more.

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_05]: We'd like to see before the end of the program today.

[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_05]: Gentlemen, I did want to mention this.

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_05]: I think we've mentioned Hurricane Halene taking place and hitting Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina.

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_05]: We have a gentleman who called in as name is Ken from Georgia.

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_05]: Get this first time giver.

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_05]: His wife is on hospice.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_05]: They have a huge tree down at their house today.

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_05]: He just asked if we could pray for them in the midst of this.

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_05]: He called and gave a gift in the midst of all that he and his family are going through.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_05]: And so could I just pray for him quickly with his wife as well.

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_05]: Ken and his wife we just pray Lord that you would be with them during these challenging moments,

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_05]: not only from the storm but his wife being on hospice.

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_05]: We thank him for the gift, but we most importantly ask your comfort, guidance,

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_05]: and love and care for him in the midst of these terribly challenging days.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_05]: We ask it in Jesus name, amen.

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_06]: One of the advantages, of course, of supporting point of view is from time to time.

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_06]: You have a wide alert who you just heard a minute ago will call and pray with you.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_06]: And that is certainly the case.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_06]: But I thought it's about time to go around the round table.

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_06]: And I'll start with you, Dr. Emeral Matthews, because if nothing else,

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_06]: way of posted a piece that comes from the Washington Post.

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_06]: So you know it must be true.

[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Now what they actually have done here is a look at possible scenarios.

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Five likely scenarios based on the candidate's current standing.

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Three less likely including one in which you could have an electoral tie.

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_06]: And again, if you have received the booklet, I have that talks about the importance of voting.

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_06]: I even point out in there that if you actually just move 42,840 votes from Arizona,

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Georgia and Michigan, we could have had a 216-9-9 tie in the electoral college.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Can you imagine what that would be like?

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_06]: But the bottom line is, is I posted this because first of all,

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_06]: you brought my attention to it, but it is a reminder, first of all,

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_06]: how close the selection is, how key some of these swing states are and how one

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_06]: change in one state or another could determine who the next president of the United States is.

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right, Kirby.

[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_03]: And I encourage the listeners to go and look at that piece because it maps out what they call

[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_03]: eight paths to victory for Harris and Trump, including of course.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_03]: So there's three, I think they have four for Trump, three for Harris,

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_03]: and then one which is a tie.

[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_03]: And it shows you, it has pictures of the states and how they might be voting in order to get that.

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's primary focusing on the swing states, of course.

[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_03]: But it's very, very interesting to see how close this could be and just put some of the states

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_03]: and you can, as you look through these, any one of these scenarios could actually happen.

[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Harris could win the Southern states and Trump win some of the Northern states.

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I've Michigan Pennsylvania and Wisconsin or vice versa.

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And many of these because you said several times, you don't see how Trump wins or I guess anybody without Pennsylvania.

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_06]: He seems like there's only one scenario there where he might win without Pennsylvania.

[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_06]: Every other, he's got to have Pennsylvania wins in there.

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_03]: So Pennsylvania is a big player and Pennsylvania isn't always that good on elections.

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_06]: That's another whole issue.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_06]: So Kelly, like get your thoughts.

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Also get pennies comments as well because we're talking about in this booklet and of course,

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_06]: unbelievably close elections coming up.

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I would challenge every pastor, every church.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_07]: If you're not registering your people to vote, if you're not challenging them,

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_07]: I'd really, you know, question what you're doing.

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I don't, there's a church on no fairly large church that it'd been going through a lot recently and they weren't going to do a voter registration.

[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_07]: And they just realized that that was right.

[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_07]: And this is in light of the fact that we've got some polling that we're going to release.

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_07]: And I know Barnas is going to release himself in about a week that we just did that 50%

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_07]: Almost 50% of evangelical born again Christians are planning not to vote.

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Unbelievable.

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_07]: That's like over 40 million people.

[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_07]: And I mean, I could see God judging us for that.

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_07]: That alone.

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_07]: And it's just something that people really, it's really inexcusable for those who the Lord has given the treat

[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_07]: has given these freedoms, has given these liberties, has given this incredible gift when we look at

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_07]: comparing that with what our brothers and sisters around the world who are living under dictators and all kinds of horrible situations

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_07]: that we have this wonderful system of freedom and the ability for us to choose what policies we want for our children or grandchildren

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_07]: that we would neccessize that.

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_07]: So I just highly encourage people to don't be in a 50% and every pastor should chat not to you're telling your people who vote for her,

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_07]: but part of your civic duty part of representing crisis represents in Christ in every area of society,

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_07]: including in the voting booth.

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_07]: And so if I look at this right now and I say, yes, it looks like you have Trump not able to win in Michigan and Wisconsin and all that.

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_07]: And then Pennsylvania being close when and you have Trump winning in Georgia, Arizona.

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_07]: And that's what it looks like.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_07]: I really feel like I'm seeing something a little different over the past week.

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_07]: I think I'm seeing sort of a shifting beginning to occur.

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_07]: I think there's someone of a tiring of Kamala Harris, especially not answering questions.

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_07]: I think she is realizing that that's not going to work and that she's going to have to and she's starting to try to do maybe a little more.

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, every time she's doing it, she's not doing so well.

[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_07]: So it's a, it's a, it's about to come and work.

[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_07]: I wouldn't surprise me to see a shifting occurring that's more dramatic than what we're looking at right now.

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_07]: But it looks like it's very close and it could go either way, based upon just a couple of states and which is makes it so an excuse of all of people are not going.

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_07]: People who certainly know the word of God, no truth and can go and stand for those principles for the future policies that would come out from the election.

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_06]: I want to get pennies comments. Maybe after the break, but I thought it also mentioned if you go to first liberty dot or G slash elections.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_06]: It has to have the S elections.

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_06]: You have first of all for pastors.

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_06]: If you say, well, is it legal for me to talk from the pulpit and aven talk about these issues? Yes, you have the churches and elections legal guide.

[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Of course, we have a link that on point of view. You also have a comparison of Trump Harris record for comparisons or one on the Supreme Court justices.

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Remember how many questions they ask about the Supreme Court and the last two presidential debates?

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_06]: That would be zero.

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_06]: So again, these are the things we talk about here on point of view.

[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Colombo, we're coming to a break and again, we have all sorts of opportunities for people to get a dollar for dollar match.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Don't leave that money on the table, please.

[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_05]: We've got about $3,600 remaining in this $10,000 dollar dollar for dollar match.

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_05]: So we've got that one and then I think we've got another one behind it so we can just keep going through this hour.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_05]: But it does involve you getting to the phone.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_05]: We've got $834,751 or clicking in online at point of view.Net, George and Kentucky just did that.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_05]: John and Ohio Anita in California, Jill and South Carolina are leaning California all your gifts.

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_05]: The just came in are doubled right now and that will continue again, $3,500 of that remaining.

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_05]: Call right now.

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's take a break.

[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's get all those phones ringing right now.

[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's get 10 phone calls in during the break.

[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_06]: We come back.

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_06]: We'll hear from Penn Addictor Gitter comments about the election.

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_06]: The voter registration is something that is changed.

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_06]: That will be new and is there a possibility that something like a doc worker strike could be an October surprise?

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_06]: We'll talk about that.

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_06]: And of course, get Pinnis commentary.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_06]: $1,800, $3,475,51.

[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, today is the day.

[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_08]: It is your last chance to help us reach our largest fundraising goal in true team history.

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_08]: We need to raise $150,000 by today and here is why.

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_08]: We don't know what will happen with the elections in November.

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_08]: And we don't know what will happen next year.

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_08]: What we do know is Americans will need a trustworthy source of truth.

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_08]: A team that equips them to see with biblical clarity amid cultural chaos.

[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_08]: You can be part of that team.

[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Join the truth team today to bring biblical clarity to more Americans at a time when Americans need clarity more than ever.

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_08]: Help us make history and prepare for the future by joining the truth team right now.

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_08]: Today, join at point of view.net or you can give by calling toll free 1-800-347-51-51.

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_08]: That's point of view.net and 1-800-347-51-51.

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Point of view will continue after this.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_08]: You are listening to point of view.

[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_08]: The opinions expressed on point of view do not necessarily reflect the views of the management or staff of this station.

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_08]: And now here again is Kirby Anderson.

[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, again we have match money.

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_06]: I think we're going to add some more match money too as well.

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_06]: So if you have been saying, I'm going to wait till the last few hours actually, we're in the last half hour now.

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_06]: This is it. And if you've been waiting to have match money from what I understand, that's exactly what we have.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_06]: So call and give us an update here.

[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_05]: We've got plenty at the moment.

[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_05]: So you can call and get your gift doubled 800-3475-151-800-3475-151-Charles in Texas.

[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_05]: Thank you for your gift.

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_05]: It's doubled.

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Fred and North Carolina, your $75 is doubled.

[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_05]: Robert and Alabama, $25 a month becomes $50 a month.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_05]: That's how easy it works.

[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_05]: If you've never given before, we've got a special welcome pack for you.

[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_05]: Maybe you've been listening a week or maybe a decade.

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_05]: And if never given before, we've got to letter for you, a personal letter from Kirby Anderson.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_05]: Some of those point of view biblical view booklets, the most recent issue about look magazine.

[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_05]: And again, your first gift doubled an impact.

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_05]: Would you call right now 800-3475-151?

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_06]: I do see the phones ringing, but I just saw someone hang up a phone.

[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_06]: So they have a space for you as well.

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Let me come to Penn a Dexter because we ran around the table here.

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_06]: We heard from Kelly.

[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_06]: We heard from Merrill, but Penn would like to get your thoughts about this election.

[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_06]: It certainly looks very close to us.

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm so glad everyone's calling in right now.

[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you folks.

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, it does look close.

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And what was mentioned about churches and especially the large church Kelly mentioned that

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_02]: is registering people to vote.

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And all of that, I think is so important.

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I really believe it's the stewardship for Christians to vote because who better than Christians

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_02]: to be the ones that decide who's going to be our leaders and on the policies that we're going to have?

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_02]: We need that kind of influence on our policies because we really don't have a consensus on morals

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_02]: and you more on things in this country.

[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_02]: But to folks who don't like either say candidate for the White House, if you write in someone or if you don't vote,

[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I just think it's such a waste of your time and talent not to lay in here.

[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And if you write in, you're just completely wasting your vote and you're not going to influence at all who is elected.

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's just my advice.

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Also, I think the times are hard on a lot of people.

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_02]: We think about it and some people are tempted to kind of cocoon or just go to church and think about the word of God

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_02]: and think about their families and all those good things.

[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_02]: But you need to vote.

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, voting is not that hard.

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Just get a little bit of information.

[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And if you don't know who to vote for, there are lots of organizations including point of view that can help you.

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And you can also ask your trusted friends who they're voting for.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_02]: There's just so much at stake right now.

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And one more thing that can be done for people who are not happy about what's going on in the culture right now.

[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_02]: And don't have a lot of time to get out there and ask that is support point of view because it's really doesn't take a lot of time.

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And we are doing that.

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_02]: We are going to spend between now and the election informing people about everything that comes up that affects the election that could affect their vote.

[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Does they may not hear anywhere else?

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_02]: So I would say, you know, if you help us, if you help point of view to do that, that's something you can do without a big time commitment.

[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's something that would make a big difference.

[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Why just mention on this booklet that we've been making available and you can order copies of it.

[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_06]: I have a section here where we quote from Matthew 25, Jesus talked about the sword, the unfaithful stores who buried his talent.

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_06]: And we talk about the fact that some people have buried their talent.

[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_06]: I have a whole section here about the fact that you still have a number of individuals that are not registered to vote.

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Best estimates are from George Barnett about 15% of people in a church are not even registered to vote.

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_06]: And then it has a whole section on what pastors can do.

[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_06]: And of course, I'll link to Kelly Shackelford's material at first Liberty.

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_06]: So if you want to get some of these booklets, that would be another way to educate people.

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_06]: I suspect most everybody listening to point of view is registered to vote.

[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_06]: I assume most of you are going to vote.

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_06]: That's not what I'm talking to you.

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_06]: I want you to hand these to people that you know that right now aren't registered to vote.

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_06]: And need to get registered real quickly if they're going to vote.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_06]: And number two, then need to be encouraged to go out and vote.

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_07]: You know, the thing that's fascinating in this polling that it hasn't been totally released.

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_07]: I think it again, I think it's October 8th that we did with George Barnett is,

[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_07]: guess what the number one reason was why evangelical born and Christians are saying they won't vote?

[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_07]: The number one reason was that they think it's rigged or it won't matter.

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_07]: And that is just such a huge mistake, right?

[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_07]: And you're going to look at a lot of elections recently that if, you know,

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_07]: I mean, look at the young con race which is really close and it's like if one party could have rigged it,

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_07]: you know they would have if they didn't.

[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_07]: So there's lots of ways to stop that or being attempted to make sure that there isn't anything like that.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_07]: But that sort of giving up approach.

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_07]: So talk to your friends, you know, if they're thinking of not voting,

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_07]: this is one of the reasons why many people, they just feel like their vote won't matter or won't count.

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_07]: And nothing could be further from the truth if just a small percentage of those of faith would just do their duty and their stewardship.

[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_07]: And really they're blessing an opportunity to represent truth in the policies in the future.

[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_07]: It would change all the elections.

[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_07]: And so we just need to do a better job of communicating pastors,

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_07]: but really just everybody to their fellow folks that sit in the views with them that it really is important that they do that.

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Please give us a call 800 3475151.

[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_06]: I see a lot of people on the phones, but there's still room for you.

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_06]: And Dr. Muramath, he's going to come to you for just a minute.

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_06]: I think I'll make a prediction in most of the time I'm accurate or once a while they like to remind me that I made a failed prediction.

[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_06]: But I think we're getting close to an October surprise and it comes from a very unusual source.

[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_06]: And that is you have the dock workers strike.

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Now, I want you to give us some of the numbers in just a minute.

[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_06]: But it does seem to me that if that begins to affect the supply chain, everybody's going to go out and buy toilet paper after they hear this.

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_06]: But no, the bottom line is if all of a sudden people start seeing the grocery shelves not filled.

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe some of the big box stores not filled.

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_06]: They might be tempted to blame by nomics, but it's more has to do actually with the fact that this current president is going to be able to do it.

[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_06]: And Joe Biden doesn't want to implement like tapped heartly acts, but most people don't know what that is.

[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what the unions are.

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_06]: They just know that this is not looking good and that is not good news for a comal heris and her campaign.

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Right. So the dock workers on the east coast are looking it's possibly striking in the next few days.

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_03]: They handle about half of the freight that comes in through the country.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And so yes, if they go on strike that backlogs everything and then and then so many companies now are a sort of what we call just in time inventory this.

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_03]: They get things today and then put them out on the shelves.

[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_03]: If they're not getting they can't put that toilet paper or those other things after the shelves.

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_03]: And what's interesting is this the dock workers are and this is I'm quoting from maybe see New York here.

[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_03]: So they're asking the, they're not the actual discussions aren't releasing the data, but they ABC understands their the dock workers looking for a 77% increase over over six years which isn't bad to not make this up.

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_03]: But I'm reading this from ABC it says the top scale port workers now and I'm quoting earn a base pay of $39 an hour there's insurance on top of that for $81,000 year but it goes on to say with overtime and other benefits.

[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Some can make an excess of $200,000 annually and then I still quoting by the 2019 2019 2020 report by waterfront commission which oversees New York Harbor said about a third of the long Sherman base there.

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Made more than $200,000 a year. Well you can abuse me anytime you want to.

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And $200,000 a year so people look at this and say, women we're having this struggle here and we're having trouble even making ends meet in our family and yet the long Sherman are making more than $200,000 a year and they're creating all these problems for us.

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_03]: It just is not a good sign.

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_06]: No, the other thing that I've said about is robotics. I'm holding up my booklet on artificial intelligence or course that's the second chapter in the book that we've been making available to some of our donors and of course we've talked about that before because you can unload and load a lot of those containers off ships and on to trucks through all sorts of robotics.

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_06]: So that's the other issue. So again, these are kinds of things that Colin were talking about here on point of view and again they just reminded us that we're adding all the new match money here.

[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_06]: So we have enough to cover even really big size gifts like you call those leader gifts right?

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, absolutely. In fact, we're just about to use up that first $10,000, $9,300 more from some more truth team friends as being added to that.

[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_05]: So that dollar for dollar match can continue right now. And again, any size gift up to that $9,300 will be max dollar for dollar looking for some of those thousand dollar gifts or more that could be a hundred dollars a month.

[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_05]: People giving it $30 a month, $50 a month. What can you do? Also looking for some of those legacy gifts those leadership gifts. Could you give a gift of 5,000 or 10,000 to make our goal today?

[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_05]: We're going to need some of those as well. 800, 3, 4, 7, 5, 1, 5, 1.

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Again, make those phone calls when we come to the break when we come back.

[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Our course oftentimes for this is when we talk about penadextrous commentary.

[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_06]: When at the other benefits you get, as we send the commentaries out, who's is on declining birth rates.

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_06]: So we'll hear from her in some final comments from everybody around the table about supporting point of view.

[00:33:44] [SPEAKER_06]: We'll be back right after this.

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a growing concern in the US and many other countries that people are not having enough babies.

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_02]: The fertility rate in the US is now approximately 1.62 births per female.

[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_02]: This is well below replacement level fertility, which is 2.1 births per female. Why should we care about this?

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_02]: New York Times columnists Russ Dowth at worries a lot about the declining birth rate.

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_02]: In his book, The Decadent Society, he's a man that emit all of our society's material plenty.

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_02]: One resource is conspicuously scarce. That resource is babies. He writes frequently about the grim consequences of an aging childless future.

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_02]: The concern is frequently highlighted in other major news sources, including Bloomberg, CNN Business, the Wall Street Journal, BBC and the Economist.

[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_02]: With headlines like Global Fatality hits Collapsed with profound economic consequences.

[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Propel by falling birth rates, the US population is rapidly aging.

[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_02]: As the number of productive workers shrinks in the population of elderly rises, we'll face a shortage of workers to support the older generations.

[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_02]: This accelerates the economic pressures on child-bearing aged couples.

[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_02]: There are several reasons for the declining birth rate.

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Couples are marrying past the peak age for human biological fertility, which is 22 to 24.

[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And increasingly, people are not marrying at all.

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_02]: One in four 40-year-old American adults have never been married.

[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_02]: To many millennials and Gen Z's, having kids is one of many lifestyle choices.

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_02]: John Stone Street hosted breakpoint, says that in our current culture,

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_02]: we make the choice to have children earn a lot based on convenience, enjoyment, and personal fulfillment.

[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_02]: For many young women, motherhood often lands on the losing side of that evaluation.

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Elon Musk has touted the work of Kevin Dolan, organizer of the NATO conference,

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_02]: who describes to his audiences a problem that will define the next century.

[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Predicated on one question, will your children have children of their own?

[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_02]: All too often, the answer is no.

[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_02]: For point of view, I'm Peno Dexter.

[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Point of view, finding clarity in the chaos.

[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, greetings everyone.

[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Lieutenant Colonel Allen West here. You notice they saw him retired.

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_04]: And I think it's so important that we realize that there is a dedicated effort

[00:36:10] [SPEAKER_04]: to make sure that this type of voice is not heard.

[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_04]: This type of voice is censored.

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_04]: It was another one of our rights that we have in the first amendment.

[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a freedom of speech.

[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a freedom of expression.

[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the freedom of the press.

[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the right to petition our government for redressive grievances.

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_04]: And if we lose a platform like point of view, what do we have?

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_04]: What do we go? These are good people.

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_04]: This is an exceptional program. This is a needed and necessary program for us

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_04]: in the body of Christ.

[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, how much more do you need to see in our country?

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_04]: To not understand that we have got to get this message out.

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_04]: And you're here to support a platform that is getting the message out.

[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_04]: You're here to support a man in the ministry that's put in themselves out there.

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_04]: That is the essence of being strong and good courage.

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm telling you right now,

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_04]: break out your checkbook, break out your credit card and support this ministry.

[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Because if you don't, I'll find you.

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'll make you do push-ups.

[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Finding clarity in the chaos point of view.

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_06]: I always laugh when I hear a criminal West talking about that.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_06]: But again, just one more encouragement for you to give.

[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_06]: And let me just mention that again, we have a lot of match money on the table.

[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_06]: So we really could get a significant gift at the end.

[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Most people are on the phone.

[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_06]: But I think one just hung up.

[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_06]: So there's a room for you right now to make that call.

[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_05]: Time to call, 833475151.

[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_05]: Melinda in Georgia just did that.

[00:37:37] [SPEAKER_05]: Got her gift doubled.

[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_05]: Martha in Arizona.

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_05]: 500 is doubled to 1000.

[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_05]: Jim and Nevada.

[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_05]: Your 500 becomes 1000.

[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Veneta in Texas.

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_05]: Your 50 becomes 100.

[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_05]: Lois in California.

[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_05]: Your 50 is doubled.

[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_05]: Delbert in California.

[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Your 20 is doubled.

[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_05]: And we got another one of those thousand dollars gifts from David in Georgia.

[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_05]: So that 1000 becomes 2000 dollars.

[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_05]: And that makes number three of our $1,000 or more gifts looking for 17 more

[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_05]: gifts of a thousand dollars or more.

[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_05]: You could give those as a hundred dollar a month gifts.

[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_05]: However you want to do it.

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_05]: We make it easy on you 12 equal payments over 12 months where you could do a one time gift.

[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_05]: You don't have to have the money today.

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_05]: It's just your pledge.

[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_05]: Your commitment for the coming year 800 3475151.

[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_06]: One of the benefits of course supporting point of view is we have commentaries and of course we always play the commentary from Penn a

[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_06]: Dexter on the Friday program.

[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_06]: And it's on declining birth rate.

[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_06]: So Penn I thought you might just give us a brief overview because this is another one of those stories where we cover it on a regular basis.

[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_06]: But I just don't hear a lot of other people talking about it.

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_06]: And it's a good illustration that no matter who is elected president.

[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_06]: And these are ongoing issues that need to be addressed because these are issues of the culture issues of fertility that are going to certainly affect the future of this country and other countries around the world.

[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_02]: In a sense, the birth rate curvius an existential issue I think for countries.

[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And yes we we think about it.

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I've been talking and thinking about this a lot lately.

[00:39:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And you know one of the people like quote in my piece in my commentary is rust out that who's actually with the new York Times on glad to see that at least as being mentioned on the editorial page of New York Times.

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the issue of the declining birth rate that declining fertility rate is a problem and I.

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_02]: If a society doesn't replace itself, you have economic issues like inability to fund the programs that are out there for senior citizens.

[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And we are at 1.62 birth a per female to replace yourself a country needs 2.1 birth per female to see and we're one of the better countries in the West.

[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_02]: But I look at some of the reasons for it and something that I did not mention in my piece abortion is one reason of course.

[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Or birth rates going down contraception and attitude about marriage that we don't encourage marriage as much in the country as it is not expected anymore.

[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_02]: There's not a marriage culture.

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So you have all these young people that are childbearing age out there who maybe don't want children they'd rather just sort of fund their lifestyle.

[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_02]: They can't have children because they waited too long or they haven't gotten married.

[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And so there's just so many reasons and it's something that I think we need to talk about and encourage.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_02]: You know here a lot of that either.

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_02]: You know even the conservative programming and that's why where I think again point of view is different.

[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_02]: We need a culture of life in this country.

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_02]: We need to encourage life we need to have a vibrant hopeful enthusiastic optimistic nation and you have that when you begin to you know have more families and people raising families.

[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And so we've always been about that here at one of you and so we hope people will help us to continue to talk about these kinds of things.

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_06]: I just mentioned that off air someone said they were just taking a donation for $1,000 and both husband and wife or teachers so it's not like they have just a lot of financial resources.

[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_06]: And penna identified one issue that's going to be around no matter who's elected.

[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_06]: Kelly you've mentioned another one off air and it's worth mentioning on air.

[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_06]: The number of individuals have been led into this country that actually have a criminal record.

[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah there's some new data that just came out today that's just shocking from our immigration service of over 400,000 convicted individuals who were in the country.

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_07]: Over 13,000 convicted murderers that have been released into our country those are the ones they know about okay I forget how many.

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_07]: You know rape sexual assault it's something around 13 to 15,000 of those and you just think of all these people.

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_07]: You know throughout all the states and again these are the ones that they released that they they came through and they they're not the people who got away.

[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_07]: These are the ones that they released and you just think of what that does.

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_07]: How many people as lives are going to be impacted by that it's a huge issue.

[00:42:24] [SPEAKER_07]: And I know a lot of times Trump gets made fun of for talking about they're releasing their worst people from their jails from their well I mean our own government under a different administration just release the numbers and this is a big deal.

[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_07]: I would be fascinating to me is over the weekend who will talk about this because I think this is something that every American would want to be aware of.

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_06]: And the question is will the media will a lot of the media squelches this when we're example Colin of the kinds of things you hear on point of view and we'll see over the weekend how many times we hear it anywhere else but we'll hear it here.

[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_05]: You're going to hear it on point of view and that's one of the wonderful things through the resources through the links through the daily information and interviews and commentaries.

[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_05]: We're going to use these matching dollars to double your gift on through the afternoon and evening so keep calling 800 347 5151 800 347 5151 point of view.net and we sure could use a couple of those legacy or leadership gifts maybe a 2500 or a 5000 to really meet our goal for today and to be where point of view needs to be in the days and weeks and months ahead.

[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_05]: I hope that you'll do that in the days ahead 800 347 5151.
