[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We have campus crusade focused on the family the navigators up the road is carousel university

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_01]: So we have a lot of examples of huge ministries

[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And you see huge buildings and parking lots full of cars

[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_01]: And it just reminds me of how much we are able to do with a small budget in a small studio

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And on half of a floor of a building with eight full time employees and two part time employees

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And I want to say that our budget for each year is one million dollars

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_01]: We do a lot with just a little bit

[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And so when I see all these other ministries getting grants and getting gifts of millions of dollars

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It just really reminds me of how hard we work and how much we are able to do with each dollar

[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_04]: One of the things that I know you enjoy

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And then course you bring so much to the table as a vice president of stewardship

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_04]: As you get to meet the individuals who are listeners

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_04]: But we also get to meet a fair number of individuals that listen

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_04]: But have never given and I'd like to get your thoughts about that as well

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes Kirby, I know that there are a lot of people out there

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean everywhere we go and just let people know

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_01]: We've already been to Arizona and Michigan, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma this year

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And we are still heading down to do some trips down in Georgia

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_01]: And we hear people all the time will say, I listen

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_04]: If we wish to have a meaningful dialogue, we shouldn't minimize the other person's opinion and perspective

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_04]: We need to apply the lessons of this book so that we can end this stalemate

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Actually they had a tradition and that is in the farm

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_04]: They would not eat dinner and lunch actually or supper as they called it back then

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Until about one o'clock because Marl was on from one to three central time

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_04]: And so she was there and they would be eating and listening to point of view

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_04]: And then later on of course got to work with her a little bit more member pen

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_04]: And then she was a doctor and I interviewing this homemaker

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_04]: By the name of Michelle Bachwin who then later became a member of congress

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_04]: And then even ran for the presidency

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_04]: And we've talked a little bit calling about the legacy of point of view

[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_04]: And there's just another one of those stories

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_07]: It happened to so many of us

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_07]: I started listening to point of view when I was very young

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Probably a teenager Marl and Maddox in the early days

[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_07]: Intervute him a number of times interviewed you many times

[00:12:26] [SPEAKER_07]: in my time and Christian radio. And then you took over after Marlon left and the legacy

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_07]: as you say, continues. And I love that. I mean, how many radio shows do you see that have

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_07]: been around for 52 years? Is that right? And so it's incredible to see just the longevity

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_07]: of it. But then you add to that the so many resources, so many lives impacted. And again,

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_07]: always, always that biblical foundation to what we're talking about each and every day,

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_07]: the cultural issues of our day through the lens of scripture. You can truly make a difference,

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_04]: of becoming a born again Christian while being held hostage by terrorists in bay root was nominated

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_04]: by individuals as the Nobel Prize winner and a ran for Congress. His novel ISIS actually talks

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_04]: about the plight of persecuted Christians and Kim Tim Remen. Welcome back to point of view.

[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_05]: It's nice to have any back on her, but it's a pleasure to be with you.

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, last time we were talking with you, we went into the details of what it would take

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_04]: for Israel's spy agency Mossad to actually get a bomb into the guest house in Tehran, Iran.

[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_04]: And then place it and not have it discovered and have it then ultimately kill one of the leaders

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_04]: of Hamas. And that was pretty amazing. Well, how about this one? A Mossad apparently planted

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_04]: a small amount of explosives inside a 5,000 Taiwan-made pages that were distributed to his below.

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't want to be on the wrong side of Israel right now if you're a terrorist.

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_05]: Well, Kirby, you know, nowadays when his wallet offered him sees a patient, he thinks grenade

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_05]: and I think that's a very good thought to enter his mind. This is just a remarkable operation

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_05]: by Israel. I think it's a joint operation between military intelligence, the single intelligence

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_05]: unit 820 of Israel's military intelligence and Mossad. And some of the stories say they've been

[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_05]: working on this 14 years. I don't know if that's true, but they've been doing it working on it for

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_05]: a long time. They set up front companies all over the world. And ultimately what we've heard is

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_05]: that they replaced the batteries of these pages while they were held up in a Middle East country

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_05]: with new batteries that had a couple of ounces of high explosives. That's just amazing. And

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_04]: we've talked about the intricacies of being able to place a bomb there in Iran. This one

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_04]: still just is amazing to me. I might just mention if you would like to know more about Ken Timmer.

[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_04]: And of course, we have a link to his website. Have a very good video interview which was done by

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_04]: the Jewish Policy Center on maximum pressure, maximum support. But what about this? Because

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_04]: you, of course, have been very much involved and very concerned about what has happened in

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Iran. And that's one of the reasons why, of course, you are the head of the foundation for democracy

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_04]: in Iran. But money that's flowed to Iran then flows from Iran to hismole to Hamas,

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_04]: to the Houthis. And a lot of the great chaos and the disturbing stories of the Middle East

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_04]: goes all the way back to what is happening out of Iran, doesn't it?

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_05]: It's astonishing Kirby to hear from Kalahires and Joe Biden absolute silence when it comes

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_05]: to the bad behavior of the Iranian regime. They're support for Hamas. They're support for his

[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_05]: baller. They're export of terrorism. They're supportive you mentioned for the Houthis.

[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_05]: In fire hundreds of missiles against US warships and against commercial ships in the Red Sea,

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_05]: it's just unbelievable to hear silence coming from the United States government.

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Remember, in January of 2021, the Iran regime after four years of Donald Trump was virtually bankrupt,

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_05]: their oil exports had been brought down to something like 400,000 barrels a day. Today,

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_05]: thanks again to the policies of the current administration. They're over two and a half

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_05]: million barrels that they're a most of it going to come in this China,

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_05]: and still under sanctions with the United States government has decided to wave those tanks.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_05]: So the Chinese are importing that oil at reduced prices. The Chinese are making out like

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_05]: gangbusters. Iranians are making out like gangbusters and best with the Iranian regime,

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_05]: does that money? They send it to his baller and to Hamas. They don't send it to the Iranian people.

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_05]: They send it to his baller and to Hamas and to the Houthis. They're terrorist circuits.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_04]: So we can also mention that we have this very good interview with you about if indeed,

[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_04]: we want to bring about a change. We need maximum pressure and maximum support to cripple

[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_04]: the government in Iran. And that's not going to happen with the current administration or even

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_04]: the Vice President in this administration. It might happen with a different president,

[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_04]: but what are you calling for and what could actually take place? Because if you could remove

[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Iran from the kind of very significant terrorist activity that they are funding,

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_04]: that would change the Middle East almost overnight, wouldn't it?

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_05]: It would change the Middle East overnight. The Iranian regime is the greatest source of evil

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_05]: and of evil actions in the Middle East and it has been so for nearly 40 years. But when they

[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_05]: greater resources, they're able to do greater evil. Look, we know what maximum pressure

[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_05]: looks like. Donald Trump had a policy of maximum pressure in cutting off Iranian oil exports.

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_05]: It meant going after international shipping so it could not ship weapons of mass destruction missiles

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_05]: overseas to some other foreign terrorist partners. It meant cracking down on their sources

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_05]: funding in addition to oil resources and technology for bending missile technology,

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_05]: nuclear technology from reaching Iran. We know that that looks like maximum pressure.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_05]: What we've never seen before is maximum support. I have long, long been an advocate of maximum

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_05]: support for the pro-free movement in Iran. And I have advocated for years through the foundation

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_05]: for democracy in Iran and elsewhere. I've advocated that really we should be helping the people

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_05]: Iran to overthrow the regime in Iran. Not with US troops, not with US weapons, not by intervening

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_05]: militarily as we did in Iraq and other places but by helping the people to unshackle themselves

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_05]: from this beast of a authoritarian regime. And there are many ways that we could do it through

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_05]: technology, through broadcasting, with money and also by putting pressure on the Iranian regime

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_05]: places like the United Nations to be legitimate. We are treating them, look, the president,

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_05]: the so-called president. I say so-called he's elected by the regime. He's not really elected by

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_05]: the people and the turnout in the latest elections very low. But this so-called president of Iran is

[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_05]: going to be speaking this week in the New York in the United States at the United Nations

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_05]: and Biden is going to be talking right there alongside of the why should we even allow him to come

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_05]: in the United States? Why should we legitimize him and give him that platform? That would be part

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_05]: of maximum pressure is cracking down on the legitimacy of the Iranian regime, making the world

[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_05]: understand that we do not consider this a legitimate government. Very good. Let me take a break and first

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_05]: America for policy institute we have things taking place in this world that were unimaginable

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_05]: just four years ago there is talk of nuclear war on the continent of Europe this is something

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_05]: unthinkable so yes we are in a far worse position strategically militarily even for the survival

[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_05]: of our country and afraid of that we were just four years ago and it shows you that politics matter

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_04]: there's the possibility of a cyber attack in this country from China so in some respects we need to

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_04]: have the right people in positions of authority in this government if we don't it is going to be

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_04]: more more dangerous for Americans even traveling overseas well that's right I mean this this

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_05]: idea that a US civilian airline or over Pakistan could be spoofed in this way is really extraordinary

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_05]: the cyber vulnerability that we are now experiencing are extraordinary and again these are things

[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_05]: that we can prepare for we we spend an enormous amount of money on our military in this country

[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_05]: and yet our defense industrial base is collapsing we should be able to carry this type of

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_05]: secret threat and yet we're not doing it instead we are warning Americans about Russian intervention

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_05]: in the elections and we should really be warning Americans about the intervention of former

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_05]: American spoofed former American intelligence officers in the elections of the United States

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_04]: we work with course talked about the intelligence community and the need for maybe a cleaning house there

[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_04]: identified uh the American family associates in a hate group and then there's this puzzle look

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_05]: three minutes on air talking about an organization that had quote between 40 to 60

[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_05]: that's what they were talking about we face serious threats in America today we face

[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_05]: serious threats from Russia from communist China from if the Islamic regime in Iran and our

[00:30:13] [SPEAKER_05]: government is really doing very little to protect us against that you know I used to lecture

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_05]: at the joint counter intelligence training academy in the quannico on Iran and I lecture there

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_05]: to teach intelligence officers in the United States what was going on in inside Iran and the

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_05]: composition of the Iranian body politic and that was all fun and good until the Iran nuclear deal

[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_05]: came along in 2015 and my boss has asked me to describe how the Iranian regime viewed the deal

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_05]: and I said okay I guess I'll get them to true and I put up a slide that showed that they
