[00:01:01] A quick celebration of Charlie Kirk's life on this day. I know it's not, you know, you know, when you celebrate the anniversary of a murder in cold blood, it's hard to know how to take these things. You know, you want to celebrate his life and you want to give acknowledgement to his lovely wife and family. And you want to tell the nation that he lived a wonderful life and set an incredible example. And, you know, they say we are Charlie, meaning let's carry the ball for him. Amen to that.
[00:01:30] I know he's in heaven with God Almighty. And I know that he's looking down upon us. And, you know, I hope we can be his eyes, ears and hands to carry out the principles of freedom that he stood for. They said the college wasn't going to do anything about it. They weren't going to cover it or anything. But now, as far as I understand, I got an email from Kathy Smith over at Loving Liberty. And they say, hey, they're going to have an event tonight for it. I got the notice too late for me to attend.
[00:01:56] But nevertheless, I just thought I'd bring that up and say, you know, RIP, rest in peace, Charlie Kirk. Our prayers are with his lovely wife and family. And I agree that we want to we are Charlie. We want to carry the message forward. Let it proliferate or grow, whatever you want to call it in an absolute, productive, meaningful, liberty loving, free speech kind of way. Kurt? Amen to that.
[00:02:20] The other night at the one of the farmers markets, I was to one guy, I guess it was just last night. The guy had this shirt on, said it had this quote from Charlie, said, I'll take the homeschool kid or something like that. And then underneath it said Charlie Kirk. And so my daughter, Lorena, asked him, where'd you get the shirt?
[00:02:49] And it was like, real, real good. He said, I want one of those. He said, he got a DI. He said, you know, she said, man, that's a great thrift. You know, I was trying to figure out how I could find that. Yeah. DI, just so everybody around the world and nation knows, is called Deseret Industries. And it's the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It's like the Salvation Army kind of a thing around the world. It's a thrift store, a secondhand store.
[00:03:18] They bring in the nicest of stuff, though, by the way. So it's quite unique in Utah. And I think it's in a couple of other states as well. Yeah, that's right. Arizona, Idaho. There's a few others. Nevada, I think. Yeah, probably so. I've not seen there. But I call it my favorite store. So anyway, that's what the crack is. There you have that. All right. We were going to have Nathan Worcester with us of the Epoch Times, but I don't think he's going to be able to join.
[00:03:48] So we'll have to reschedule that or whatever. I don't know what that's all about. But we will cover the same topic because it's a very interesting topic for today. Ladies and gentlemen, Trump and the GOP rally in Dallas to boost midterm turnout. President Donald Trump is headlining the Republican parties. And I'm going to call it unusual midterm convention in Dallas. It's a two day midterm yesterday and today.
[00:04:17] And they want to work to energize voters, take control of the House or retain, I should say, control of the House and the Senate. And they want Trump says, hey, you need to treat the midterms as if I was on the ballot because he really wants people to back the MAGA and the Republican candidates, etc. They had a two day event yesterday and today. And there's a lot of things to cover on this thing. Kurt, do you have any comments first? It's pretty unusual. I wanted to attend this. I just didn't have the money to go.
[00:04:48] Yeah, you didn't have one of those unlimited federal budget deals. I was looking at the headline from CNBC about it. It says Trump's $1 trillion plus dividend plan meets immediate bipartisan pushback. Now, you know, the key points they say in the CNBC piece, President Donald Trump promised
[00:05:16] a $5,000 check for U.S. voters if the Republicans win both the House and the Senate in the looming midterm elections. They call it a Trump dividend. And I kind of have a problem with that. I don't think they're marketing it very well. They need to call it a Donald dividend, Kurt. Does that sound better? The Donald dividend? D.D. Yeah. But anyway, what do you think? Are you for this, Kurt? Well, here's my problem with all these giveaways.
[00:05:45] It doesn't matter if it's President Trump or, you know, so many times that's basically what politics has come to be. You know, you scratch my back, you know. I mean, I'll give you whatever. But they go on to call it the Doge dividend, Sam. So that might be where you get the double D thing. Or you could do a triple D and do the Doge Donald dividend. You know. There you go. Doge dividend. You know.
[00:06:15] Triple D in your wallet. Triple D in your bank account. You know. But if you really make it so that, you know, each citizen kind of gets a piece of the action, if you will. So that's kind of how they do it up in Alaska. Whereas the, like, at least when my brother lived up there, each citizen would benefit
[00:06:40] from the funds that the state brought in from, for example, the sale of oil. Yeah. Anything to do with the land resources that they consider is all of the people who live in Alaska. It's basically their land is the point, right? Yeah. And you could do that in America if you, I mean, first of all, you want to go on what he's already talked about.
[00:07:04] And that is you eliminate the income tax and you, you know, he's already mentioned the thing about, you know, increasing the external revenue service, which is basically tariffs. And if you're really doing that kind of thing and, and then you enhance all this fraud, they say they've found by it. Well, what I'm saying, I did call it eliminate. Enhance the discovery of and then eliminate the fraud. That's right.
[00:07:34] Yeah, that's right. Then you, you would be able to have what I'd call, you know, a dividend there. But one of the best places to start is you eliminate the Federal Reserve and institute, well, either honest money or at least you could use those United States notes that JFK. So there's not interest attached. That's right. I mean, we're talking about two trillion, close to two trillion a year that the federal
[00:08:03] government puts out in interest payments, you know, right now. And that would be a massive change, just eliminating that, I think. So there's, there's a lot to be done. I like to see them. Yeah. The problem is that Congress would be responsible to the way Trump wants to do this dividend and Congress will never deliver. I know that Mike Johnson acts like he's in the Donald camp and everything else. But look, in my opinion, Trump has done a marvelous job on a lot of things. He really has.
[00:08:33] But Congress has absolutely talked a good game, but undermined President Trump at every turn, in my opinion. And, you know, the problem is he, they, they talk, they talk, but they don't do anything. They're on vacation all the time. Anything Trump wants to do, they don't stand up for him. And I'll just give you a quick example to make the point tariffs. If Congress would double down, stand up and deliver appropriate tariff guidance that would, that would carry forward the ball for Trump. It wouldn't be in the courts and it wouldn't be debatable. It'd just be done. That's right.
[00:09:02] But as long as they sit on the sidelines, President Trump is just out there by himself in the wind, advocating for a constitutional solution that never will become reality. It'll just be a big battle in the courts. He'll try to push it. Then he'll have to pay it back and this and that. And he's left out there because he doesn't have the backing of Congress. He has the backing of we the people, but not Congress. And sadly, I'm really disappointed in the Republican Congress. That's hard for me to want to back the House and the Senate for midterms.
[00:09:28] However, I want to say however, because what do you want the alternative? The Kamala Harris people running around? The AOC people running around? The Bernie Sanders people? The Nancy Pelosi's? The Maxine Waters people? The whatever Muslim? What's her name anyway? Lady? You know, do you want those guys running around?
[00:09:49] So even though I wish the Republicans had delivered more, I will have to say that we better draw a line in the sand because you'll have at least some restraint versus flat out, full blown socialism, Kurt. Well, you couldn't be more correct, Sam. And, you know, I mean, that's that's the issue. And I mean, the Democrats like to say, look, hey, you know, this is the reason you vote for us because we're not Donald.
[00:10:19] He's got to just basically say we're not them, you know. And Trump is saying vote as if I'm on the ballot. And really, the truth is, hey, with a lot of what Trump wants to do, I support and I just need Congress to get aboard. And so I think we need to deliver a solid message to the House and the Senate and say, you know what? You guys need to get behind the MAGA policies. Maybe I don't agree with all of them, but I will say this. I agree with more of them than anything else literally out there on the table.

[00:13:09] But the way you do the relief is you can just say, hey, you know what? But every adult can take $5,000 off the top of their tax burden. Period. If it's married, $10,000. Don't penalize the marriage people. And, hey, you know what? That would make a huge difference. You would say, well, there's, you know, it's going to deny the government from all the money they could get. I know. But you could find out, get a list of all the illegal aliens and have them pay in a little bit of money. You know, that's another way to get some money back.
[00:13:36] Not only that, you can do the ERS and abolish the IRS. And, man, would that be just a barn burner solution for the midterms. I mean, it would be an opportunity of a lifetime, ladies and gentlemen. So we back the principle, think it needs to happen differently so it's less socialist in nature. But there you have it. Todd Blanche spoke last night, Attorney General of the United States of America. And he delivered a law and order message is what they're calling it, Kurt.
[00:14:01] He used his convention address to emphasize the Trump administration's law enforcement agenda. And that's, I think, critical. This is where Trump again shines, where the Democrats and others have let our borders leak like a sieve and let criminals run around crazy. Trump's stopping that. He says those who commit violence will be held accountable. Amen to that.
[00:14:25] Couldn't have said it better myself, especially to deliver that the night before Charlie Kirk's commemorance, if you will, or remembering Charlie Kirk, his appearance itself drew attention because of the unusual involvement of a sitting attorney general at a partisan political convention. Now, I'm going to stop there because they want to make that a big deal. And I don't think so.
[00:14:48] If he's delivering a message that helps the Republicans understand, and, you know, maybe he goes to the Democrat convention too, who knows, understand that law and order is critical, that we will not tolerate violence in our society. I don't think that's a partisan issue at all, Kurt. And I think he has every right to deliver it everywhere he can. Well, that's right.
[00:15:09] You know, he's known as a little bit of a, I guess you'd say, well, a rebel, I guess, you know, because he doesn't do it. Or you could say a maverick. Yeah. Well, that's the perfect word I was looking for, Sam. You know, but, man, he could certainly do a lot more. And, you know, it's refreshing to see these guys, this and Tom Holman and some of these other guys that want to stop violence and stand for law and order in the greatest country on the face of the earth.
[00:15:38] It's refreshing, if you want my opinion. Mm-hmm. Couldn't agree more. Couldn't agree more. And you see what's happened in several of these cities, at least where President Trump has employed the National Guard or whatever.
[00:15:53] You take D.C., you know, you got Memphis as another great example, you know, and yet there's so many of them, whether it's Chicago or others, that, hey, they refuse to let, you know, President Trump come in and, you know, what I'd call save their city. Yeah, support law and order. That's right. I mean, imagine that. That's a bad thing, right? It's crazy. I know.
[00:16:21] And it's a winning issue. And the, I mean, who is not, cannot be for law and order and protection of the citizenry? I mean, it's just crazy. But that's where they line up. And that's why I say, even though I'm not happy with a lot of the Republicans because they haven't delivered like they could have, and I'm disappointed, I just look at the contrast, Kurt.
[00:16:47] And I just go, okay, now, you know, what do you want? And yes, we need to push them to do more. And by all means, that's we the people's role. Push our congressmen and senators to do more to support the Trump or the MAGA or whatever you want to call it agenda by all means. But at the same time, look at the contrast, people. So I have no problem with Todd Blanche going there and talking about law and order. It's not like he's, you know, promoting Republicans. He's just simply saying, look, I'm the attorney general, and I'm going to advocate for what we've accomplished regarding law and order.
[00:17:18] And I want to push for law and order going forward. And hey, those who commit violence, I'm warning you now. We will take care of business. We will not tolerate violence. Right? Those who commit violence will be held accountable, or is the exact words, Kurt? Yeah. Amen. You remember how many times Sheriff Mack would say, you know, and he still says, hey, the main problem is the recidivism.
[00:17:46] You know, because you have certain guys that basically just cause most of the problem. And President Trump has mentioned that. So if you get those bad guys off the streets, surprise, the crime goes way down, Sam. You know? Amen. And even Todd Blanche talking about that. Tom Holman has mentioned that many times. A good friend of Sheriff Mack and the CSPOA. By the way, there's an event tomorrow night.
[00:18:13] So Friday night, and it'll be in Highland, and it'll be a Liberty United, so Jake Oaks-led organization, along with Lowell Nelson-led organization, combining with the Constitutional Sheriff and Peace Officers Association and Liberty Roundtable Live to have an incredible event tomorrow night. We'll be giving a tribute to Charlie Kirk. We'll be giving a summary of 9-11 on the 25th year anniversary.
[00:18:36] And then, of course, Richard Mack will speak about his book, Murder of America, where he calls it the Democrat Murder of America, but it's murderofamerica.com if you want to check that out. Now, J.D. Vance will take center stage, Kurt, at the event here today. It's a major, quote, keynote address, they're calling it, giving him a prominent national platform. The question is, will he be the guy for the 2028 presidential race? Trump's also scheduled to deliver closing remarks.
[00:19:05] Trump already spoke for, like, two hours at this event and stuff, but now J.D. Vance is getting a chance to shine today. You think it's going to be J.D. Vance, Marco Rubio? Who do you think is going to be the guy for 28, and who do you think they're going to run against, AOC? I don't know. Personally, at least, I'd like to see President Trump just go ahead and do it again and say, Look, you guys stole the 2020 election, you know, and all these other things that we can prove now and show you the evidence of.
[00:19:35] And so, therefore, you know, this whole thing, you've been fighting against me the whole time. And so, you know, I haven't really had the opportunity to be the president for the years that I should have because of all the illegal activity. And, you know, go ahead and run again. That's what I'd like to see. Yeah, right now the law prevents it, though. He's got two terms and he's had two terms. Yes, there was a blank in the middle there because they committed election fraud. I get that.
[00:20:05] But at the same time, there's a two-term limit right now for presidents, right? Well, I think the Constitution says that you can't serve more than 10 years, if I remember right. So it's, you know, like the two, like say you were vice president and then you did two years, then you couldn't do more than two other terms. But, you know, I mean, we've seen stranger things happen. That's for sure. That's no doubt about it.
[00:20:34] And, you know, the question becomes who can fill that vacuum? You know, is it J.D. Vance? Is it Marco Rubio? See, I think Marco Rubio is not constitutionally qualified to serve because of his, you know, citizen status related to his parents and Cuban stuff. Yep. So that takes him out. You know, Donald Trump Jr. is one of the people that people are considering as well. So, you know, there's a lot of options. But, you know, who are they going to go against? You know, is it going to be a Bernie Sanders old guy? Is it going to be, you know, see AOC some kind of a younger person?
[00:21:03] You know, who's going to be the opposition? Now, Democratic Senator John Fetterman appeared in a, quote, pre-recorded convention speech they played from remote introducing Republican Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick and said, hey, we've worked together for a long time. We've done a lot for the steel industry in our area and da-da-da-da-da. So there's all kinds of speculation. Fetterman denies that he intends to leave the Democratic Party. He says, I'm solidly a Democrat.
[00:21:33] I'm not here to be a Republican, but I am here to stand up for some of the Republican leaders that I've been able to work well with. And I do think some of that bipartisan understanding is important, too. You know, whether you agree with the Republicans or Democrats, I don't like the parties at all. But I do like people coming together and building bridges for solutions. Whether they've done that appropriately or not might be a different discussion. But I do like the idea that we've got to work together.
[00:21:56] And the more we can work together, the more we can carry forward a lot of the principles that President Trump and others have been talking about and make them reality. And that's really what the core is, Kurt. That's right. And, you know, another winning issue, if the president wants to really, you know, get out of the box, it'd be, hey, let's look back. I was reading his stuff about George Washington. He warned us about parties. You know, we're not even supposed to have this. Let's just eliminate this whole party system.
[00:22:26] I mean, man, that would wake him up. You got that. Then, of course, there's so many other things that could be done, you know, including that Federal Reserve thing. You know, I know that it was tough on JFK when he was going against it. But, you know, if anybody can go against the Federal Reserve, he certainly hasn't shown much love for it. Just eliminate that sucker and eliminate the debt, you know.
[00:22:54] Well, they're about to raise interest rates. So, again, whether you believe interest rates should go up or down, I believe that should be a discussion for the free market, not a discussion for a bunch of bureaucrats in a boardroom. And that's really what Donald could say on the national stage today in his closing remarks. We're not going to have bureaucrats deciding the interest rate. We're going to simply get rid of the Federal Reserve and let the interest rates for whatever do whatever they want to. We're going to go back to honest money and not pay this, you know, in my opinion, exorbitant interest that's belligerent and out of control. And furthermore, they created the debt by fraud.
[00:23:23] So, since there's no statute of limitations on fraud, we're going to go ahead and just get rid of that dude. And we're going to basically create a wonderful big old coin. You know, you could do the big coin. Yes, you'd call it the Donald dollar. And it would be $40 trillion. It'd be a single $40 trillion bill. It'd be the Donald dollar. And we'd just pay that dude off and say, bye-bye. Thank you. Have a wonderful day.
