121224 HR 1 Suzanne Sherman On New Conceal Carry Fed Law Pardons And USS Liberty

121224 HR 1 Suzanne Sherman On New Conceal Carry Fed Law Pardons And USS Liberty by Kate Dalley

[00:00:01] Unity includes everything but those horrible opposing views. The Kate Dalley Show starts now.

[00:00:08] Happy New Year. Just feels good to say. Doesn't matter where you're from, your religion, your country, everybody celebrates it.

[00:00:15] It's not like Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas can go either way. And I hate to offend people.

[00:00:20] So this whole last holiday season, I didn't let out one Merry Christmas. That's true.

[00:00:24] Instead, I said, may the birth of the one and only true God, Jesus Christ.

[00:00:36] Bestow a blessing of grace and peace upon your household.

[00:00:40] To the belittlement of every other false religion.

[00:00:50] Favorite clips. Seriously, one of my favorites.

[00:00:53] All right, so welcome. Kate Dalley Show on a Thursday. Explosive for sure today.

[00:00:59] I'm just going to give you that warning. Suzanne C. Sherman is with me.

[00:01:03] And I also have really graceful with me. And she's in the next hour.

[00:01:10] And I mean, we're going to be talking about everything from USS Liberty to, oh my gosh, you name it, Jay-Z to the fictional story of Luigi, the serial killer.

[00:01:25] Sorry, the CEO killer. And of course, yesterday, before I bring Suzanne on yesterday, we were talking about, you know, the mothership.

[00:01:35] Like I said yesterday, is there a fathership? Anyways, so the media coined it the mothership of Iran.

[00:01:41] I don't quite know how that works, but okay.

[00:01:43] And the drones coming down and then the Pentagon denying it.

[00:01:49] So then you have to go, whenever the Pentagon says something, then you go to Oppositeville to find the truth.

[00:01:54] So we carried on our journey to Oppositeville and we realized that that is a story.

[00:01:59] And then certain guests have appeared on Patriot.TV talking about the fact that this was a government drone program.

[00:02:08] And, you know, our government and the government, by the way, that does not speak for the people of America and does things in our name that we would never approve.

[00:02:18] So there's that.

[00:02:19] And that this was that the name Iran is attached to this piece because they want it in the headlines because they're building a case for a false flag coming.

[00:02:28] This is how silly they are.

[00:02:30] It's like the manifesto of Luigi giving FBI props and saying how FBI is saving our country.

[00:02:38] Isn't that great?

[00:02:38] Before he launches in, supposedly, to all the multitude of reasons as to why UnitedHealthcare was bad.

[00:02:46] If you guys believe that, I have oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.

[00:02:51] This is this is how insanely stupid they're being towards us because I think they think we're that stupid.

[00:02:58] So the fake manifesto, the fake Luigi fictional story with three different people cast as Luigi in the theatrics.

[00:03:07] So I could go on and on.

[00:03:08] But I just wanted to mention that there is some evidence of our government having a drone program.

[00:03:14] They just wanted the name attached to Iran.

[00:03:16] So and you can you can understand why.

[00:03:19] Right.

[00:03:20] With what's coming.

[00:03:20] So Suzanne C. Sherman, attorney at large and of course, constitutional attorney joins me.

[00:03:27] And I always love my visits with Suzanne.

[00:03:29] They're always very informative and very enlightening.

[00:03:32] And I love it.

[00:03:32] So welcome to the show.

[00:03:34] How are you?

[00:03:35] I'm doing great, Kate.

[00:03:36] It's always so fun to be here with you.

[00:03:38] Oh, man, me too.

[00:03:39] I agree.

[00:03:40] I am.

[00:03:40] I'm right there with you.

[00:03:41] I love having you on the show.

[00:03:43] So.

[00:03:43] OK.

[00:03:44] So first of all, the Iran.

[00:03:46] Did you want to comment on the Iran story, fictional Luigi story, anything of that sort that I just mentioned?

[00:03:53] You know, the first thing that struck me with Luigi was the guy they arrested didn't look a lot like the guy in the hoodie.

[00:04:00] Thank you.

[00:04:00] Yes.

[00:04:01] You're not seeing things, people.

[00:04:03] I thought, is there something wrong with me?

[00:04:05] This just doesn't quite compute.

[00:04:07] Then there was that other stuff altogether.

[00:04:09] But the thing with Iran getting to that, I just thought, well, how interesting is this that we've got to put a label on this and have the Iranian mothership off the coast of the United States?

[00:04:21] I think there's some of these shenanigans going on off the coast of California as well.

[00:04:25] Right when Congress is about to try and ram through before Trump takes office.

[00:04:30] Right.

[00:04:30] The NDA, you know, when they had the Aurora, Colorado shootings.

[00:04:35] I remember I was on a motorhome trip with my sons and I thought, oh, what's going on right now somewhere else in the world?

[00:04:43] I know the United Nations Small Arms Treaty.

[00:04:47] Oh, my God.

[00:04:48] What better time for a mass shooting?

[00:04:52] So true.

[00:04:53] I'm so glad you're connecting dots.

[00:04:55] And I wish and I hope that the American people do, too.

[00:04:59] There's so much dot collection that it's insanity.

[00:05:03] And when somebody tries to call you a conspiracy theorist, I've been accused of lying.

[00:05:06] I've been, you know, you know, censored.

[00:05:09] I mean, you name it.

[00:05:10] And all in the name of trying to get the truth out.

[00:05:14] And so, of course, I'm always called a conspiracy theorist.

[00:05:16] And I get tired of it because it just means that the people that do that don't read, don't understand what's going on in politics, won't open their eyes and put their heads in the sand and act like morons.

[00:05:28] So I just go, OK, call me that because now I know volumes about the people calling me that.

[00:05:34] So there is something that we need to talk about.

[00:05:37] I do want to talk about pardons for a moment.

[00:05:39] Well, we'll talk about that in a minute.

[00:05:41] I want to talk about this gun legislation.

[00:05:44] Can you bring this up, please?

[00:05:45] This is huge.

[00:05:47] OK.

[00:05:49] Thomas Massey, one of the good guys, you know, he's into farming and prepping.

[00:05:53] I love him.

[00:05:53] I know.

[00:05:54] What don't I have in common with him?

[00:05:55] He's our kind of people.

[00:05:56] OK, right.

[00:05:58] And by and large, I really do agree with what he says.

[00:06:01] But this is where he swerves out of his lane into limited government and goes into nationalism.

[00:06:06] Pardon my French.

[00:06:07] Yeah.

[00:06:07] With H.R.

[00:06:09] nine, five, three, four.

[00:06:11] Otherwise known as the National Constitutional Carry Act.

[00:06:15] First of all, I really get irked when I hear the term constitutional carry.

[00:06:19] Like somehow the Second Amendment grants you the permission to carry a firearm.

[00:06:27] So his justification for this, his explanation.

[00:06:31] I quoted this from X says no one should have to beg the government to exercise a constitutionally protected right anywhere in the country.

[00:06:42] You know what?

[00:06:44] I agree.

[00:06:44] I agree.

[00:06:45] I agree.

[00:06:45] Absolutely.

[00:06:46] Sounds good.

[00:06:47] Yeah.

[00:06:48] There's a but.

[00:06:49] And let's just let's just leave it at that.

[00:06:51] Yeah.

[00:06:52] OK.

[00:06:53] Let's just call it a day and end it.

[00:06:55] But no, this is the National Constitutional Carry Act.

[00:06:59] And this was also proposed.

[00:07:00] Donald Trump campaigned on this in 2016.

[00:07:03] And then they discussed this in 2017.

[00:07:06] I think there was a shooting or something and they just ended up dropping it.

[00:07:09] Whatever happened.

[00:07:10] Be that as it may, what they what they said at the time was there is a patchwork of permissions to be able to carry.

[00:07:20] There's no there's no consistency.

[00:07:22] So there's reciprocity that already exists.

[00:07:25] But we're just going to make it we're just going to make it easier.

[00:07:27] So they justified this when they put a bill through.

[00:07:31] If you go to the government website, they have to have a constitutional justification and they cite the Second Amendment.

[00:07:39] And this is the problem with how the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are taught in the in the school system.

[00:07:46] This starts from a very early age.

[00:07:48] The Constitution of the United States, it's taught that confers upon the unwashed masses the right to speak freely, the right to defend themselves.

[00:07:57] Using firearms, the right to be secure in their persons, papers and effects, what have you.

[00:08:03] And that that somehow comes from the Constitution.

[00:08:05] These are preexisting God given rights.

[00:08:08] The Second Amendment is not in the Bill of Rights as a whole.

[00:08:13] You can argue is is a it's a negative covenant.

[00:08:16] This says the general government cannot regulate firearms.

[00:08:21] OK, period.

[00:08:22] Right.

[00:08:23] Article one, section eight.

[00:08:25] I think it's clause 16 authorizes the general government to arm the military.

[00:08:30] I'm sorry, to arm the militia.

[00:08:34] The fear at the time was if the power was delegated to arm the militia, that they could also disarm the militia.

[00:08:43] So what you have to look at is what was what was the pulse of the founding generation when the Constitution was being drafted and ratified?

[00:08:55] And why did they add the Bill of Rights?

[00:08:57] The Second Amendment, as ratified, served two distinct purposes.

[00:09:01] First, and again, I want to clarify by telling people I am not anti military.

[00:09:07] This is this is an actual historical accounting.

[00:09:12] Right.

[00:09:13] Why the Second Amendment came about.

[00:09:15] The first was a need to avoid to avoid the need to implement standing armies.

[00:09:22] First and foremost.

[00:09:23] Second was to reserve to the states the authority to regulate arms because they wanted the states to leave the ultimate control over the government within the hands of the states and the respective people.

[00:09:37] And when I say the government, the new general government that's going to be created in this document.

[00:09:43] What you just said, what you just said was huge, that the states control this.

[00:09:46] The states control this.

[00:09:49] And being armed is the historically the American way of resisting tyranny.

[00:09:55] What this bill does is accomplish further acquiescence of regulation and control of firearms to the general government.

[00:10:07] And you can just say, well, by saying the Second Amendment controls here, not allowing this constitutes an infringement.

[00:10:16] But that's not that's not the case.

[00:10:19] They also say, well, the Second Amendment does apply to the states through the 14th Amendment, because remember, the Bill of Rights was originally intended to apply to the new government, the general government, Congress, the Supreme Court, the federal courts.

[00:10:36] Yes, the people and the executive.

[00:10:39] That's who it was intended to apply to.

[00:10:41] The states had their own constitutions.

[00:10:43] Remember, they predated.

[00:10:46] Mm hmm.

[00:10:47] OK.

[00:10:47] The Constitution that was ratified in 1789.

[00:10:50] And they predated the current national government, otherwise known as the general government, incorrectly referred to as the federal government.

[00:10:57] So this is the problem.

[00:10:59] It presupposes that when they ratified the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, that they just threw all their own preexisting constitutions out the window.

[00:11:09] And remember, the states had very unique cultures.

[00:11:11] They were varied.

[00:11:12] They were very different.

[00:11:14] For instance, those in Virginia didn't want to associate with those people in New England.

[00:11:19] This is why the sovereign and independent states came together in a compact for very, very limited purposes.

[00:11:26] OK.

[00:11:28] So when we come back, I want to take calls.

[00:11:32] In fact, we'll take a caller.

[00:11:34] And caller, do you have a brief question?

[00:11:38] Do you have a brief question for 30 seconds?

[00:11:41] Yes.

[00:11:43] OK.

[00:11:43] There's another preposition here that's really important.

[00:11:46] And that is the fact that this is an act.

[00:11:49] This is a statute law they're creating.

[00:11:51] When they do that, the implicit message is that it's equal to the Constitution.

[00:11:58] No law, statute law, is constitutional if it violates any of the Constitution.

[00:12:06] And the Second Amendment's already there.

[00:12:07] So if they want to say they agree with the Second Amendment, they need to do what the founding fathers do, write a resolution saying we don't need a law because we already have the law.

[00:12:18] OK.

[00:12:19] That's what's very destructive about this.

[00:12:21] They're saying an act is really implicitly equal to the Constitution.

[00:12:25] And it's not.

[00:12:26] It's inferior and therefore in violation of it.

[00:12:29] When we come back, Suzanne, will you tackle that?

[00:12:32] Sure.

[00:12:32] OK.

[00:12:33] Suzanne C. Sherman joins me, constitutional attorneys.

[00:12:36] She's great.

[00:12:37] And I'll be right back on the Kate Daly Show.

[00:14:07] And no need to go out of the country.

[00:14:09] Just put in the code KATE10, the number 10, or go to allfamilypharma.com forward slash Kate.

[00:14:17] And then in the dropdown menu when it says, how did you hear about this?

[00:14:20] Put Kate Daly.

[00:14:21] Okay.

[00:14:21] There's one of your options right there.

[00:14:23] But put Kate10 as the code and you'll get a nice little discount too.

[00:14:27] And it'll help the show.

[00:14:28] Help me stay on the air.

[00:14:30] Allfamilypharma.com.

[00:14:31] Go there now.

[00:14:41] This is the Kate Daly Show.

[00:14:44] Sleigh bells.

[00:14:50] Snow is glistening.

[00:14:58] How much do I love Christmas music?

[00:14:59] A lot.

[00:15:01] So welcome back, Kate Daly Show.

[00:15:03] Get over to allfamilypharma.com.

[00:15:08] Allfamilypharma.com.

[00:15:09] Use the code word KATE10.

[00:15:11] This is where you can get ivermectin ahead.

[00:15:13] This is where you can get hydroxychloroquine ahead.

[00:15:15] You can get all of those things ahead and be taking them.

[00:15:20] And then also get some antibiotics on your side.

[00:15:23] They do over 200 meds.

[00:15:25] But those are the things that are important to me.

[00:15:28] And so if you go to allfamilypharma.com, code word is KATE10.

[00:15:32] They're out of Florida.

[00:15:33] You don't have to go to India.

[00:15:51] Code word is KATE10.

[00:15:53] Use this.

[00:15:54] It helps the show.

[00:15:55] But utilize this because you're going to get some fantastic scripts ahead that you can have, even for bartering.

[00:16:01] I don't care if you get it for bartering and you are completely natural and don't want to take anything from pharma.

[00:16:07] I would recommend the ivermectin, though, for a parasite cleanse.

[00:16:10] But if you're thinking in those terms, I'm with you.

[00:16:13] Use them for bartering because people always will want them.

[00:16:17] And this is a great way to get it ahead according to your budget.

[00:16:20] So allfamilypharma.com.

[00:16:22] And then, of course, the code is KATE10.

[00:16:24] I've got Suzanne C. Sherman.

[00:16:27] Can you give out your website and talk about your latest book for just a second?

[00:16:30] Yeah, thank you.

[00:16:32] The book that's really applicable today is Federalism, How Decentralization Can Save America.

[00:16:38] My website, SuzanneCSherman.com.

[00:16:43] And you will find links to my podcast, The Wasatch Report, as well as the Red Hot Chili Prepper, C-H-I-L-L-Y,

[00:16:50] Prepper on preparedness, survival, and all the other fun stuff we like to talk about.

[00:16:55] Right.

[00:16:55] I love it.

[00:16:56] Thank you so much.

[00:16:57] I really appreciate you.

[00:16:58] And so you were going to answer the caller.

[00:17:00] The caller made a point.

[00:17:02] If you want to review that point and then answer it.

[00:17:05] Yeah, I'm not sure if I understood correctly.

[00:17:07] I think he was saying that an act of Congress is not the same as the Constitution.

[00:17:13] He's absolutely correct.

[00:17:15] The Constitution is merely a blueprint for the government, which authorizes Congress to draft bills,

[00:17:22] which are signed into law by the president or allowed to sit on his desk and then become laws.

[00:17:27] Sure.

[00:17:27] The laws can only take effect legally if they are made in the pursuance of the Constitution.

[00:17:34] That's in the Supremacy Clause.

[00:17:36] So when we look at national concealed carry reciprocity, you have to ask yourself, well, is this in pursuance of the Constitution?

[00:17:45] First of all, they're citing the Second Amendment.

[00:17:47] And it really is not because the Second Amendment was intended to be a out and out prohibition against the general government from regulating firearms, period.

[00:18:00] It would go to say also that it would prohibit the regulation or control in any way, shape or form of permits to carry firearms, particularly those issued by the states.

[00:18:13] What is not what the Constitution is silent on?

[00:18:18] The states never delegated.

[00:18:20] So they don't have that power.

[00:18:23] You have to remember, the states form the general government, retaining the overwhelming majority of laws for themselves.

[00:18:33] And I like to quote people.

[00:18:35] Just today, somebody asked me, well, what exactly is federalism?

[00:18:39] I said, just really quick, read Federalist 45 by James Madison, who's referred to as the father of the Constitution.

[00:18:46] And essentially, just I won't read the whole quote, but the powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined.

[00:18:55] Those remaining with the states are numerous and indefinite.

[00:18:59] And they will concern the lives, liberties and properties of the people and internal order improvement and prosperity of the states.

[00:19:07] Remember, there were many different cultures, different values.

[00:19:10] We still see that today.

[00:19:12] Why do you want California values?

[00:19:15] Right.

[00:19:16] Having an impact on Utah's values vis-a-vis firearms, nor should Utah's values with regards to other issues, maybe marriage or other things like that, transgender surgery.

[00:19:29] Why should that impact California?

[00:19:31] This is what federalism means.

[00:19:32] It gives you choices.

[00:19:34] Right.

[00:19:34] Right.

[00:19:35] OK.

[00:19:36] So Massey's legislation composed of two major provisions.

[00:19:39] The first one prohibiting state and political subdivision from imposing criminal or civil penalties on carrying firearms in public.

[00:19:47] Everyone's going to cheer that, right?

[00:19:49] And, of course, the second one being that invalidates any existing state or local law.

[00:19:54] The problem is, is that it puts it in the hands of the feds.

[00:19:58] This is the bottom line, right?

[00:19:59] So we're going to go to break, but I want people to realize that by, therefore, by Congress doing this, they're taking it out of state control where it should be and needs to stay and putting it in fed control.

[00:20:13] Even though it sounds good, well-intentioned, not the right way to go.

[00:20:17] Be right back.

[00:20:18] Kate Daly Show with Suzanne C.

[00:20:20] Sherman.

[00:21:29] idefendhome.com forward slash Kate.

[00:21:31] Of course, the last segment of the show, I can't believe it.

[00:21:34] It went that fast.

[00:21:35] All right.

[00:21:36] So just a couple of things.

[00:21:39] Number one, Cozy Earth.

[00:21:40] Make sure you order from Cozy Earth and use the code Kate.

[00:21:43] It's only good last week and this week, and they've extended it to the end of this week.

[00:21:49] Let me just tell you, it's a great deal.

[00:21:51] 40% off.

[00:21:51] They never do that.

[00:21:52] And I love Cozy Earth.

[00:21:53] Cozy Earth is like the creme de la creme.

[00:21:55] It's the most luxurious bedding you'll ever slide into every night.

[00:21:58] It has a 10-year warranty, and nobody has that.

[00:22:01] And it's that amazing.

[00:22:03] This is like on steroids amazing, okay?

[00:22:06] Take advantage of it.

[00:22:07] 10-year warranty.

[00:22:08] You can even sleep on it for 100 nights.

[00:22:10] And if you don't love them, you can still return them with no questions asked.

[00:22:14] It's that good.

[00:22:15] They know you're going to love it.

[00:22:16] It's Vissos from Bamboo, and nobody does it like they do it.

[00:22:20] So, just telling you.

[00:22:22] You can use the code Kate.

[00:22:23] CozyEarth.com forward slash Kate.

[00:22:25] I also wanted to mention, and it makes a great gift for somebody in your life.

[00:22:35] This is the Kate Daly Show.

[00:22:37] Who comes around on special night?

[00:22:39] Second round on special night, special night.

[00:22:41] With his wife.

[00:22:42] Must be Santa.

[00:22:44] Must be Santa.

[00:22:45] Must be Santa.

[00:22:46] Right.

[00:22:47] Santa.

[00:22:48] Yeah, that's a Dylan.

[00:22:49] There's a movie coming out about him.

[00:22:52] What do you think that means?

[00:22:53] I did a show on Bob Dylan.

[00:22:55] Oh, he was so manufactured.

[00:22:57] But anyway, okay.

[00:22:58] A whole other show that I actually did.

[00:23:00] You can listen to it on podcast, katedalyradio.com.

[00:23:04] So, welcome back.

[00:23:05] And of course, whenever they do a movie, they're trying to promo hype a narrative about somebody

[00:23:11] usually.

[00:23:12] Not all the time, but sometimes.

[00:23:14] I would say even usually.

[00:23:15] But anyway, you can go find that on podcast.

[00:23:18] I also want to mention Cozy Earth this week.

[00:23:20] If you love her, go get her Cozy Earth.

[00:23:23] Okay?

[00:23:23] There's my Christmas message.

[00:23:25] You can still get it before Christmas if you order this week and you're going to get 40%

[00:23:31] off.

[00:23:31] It also supports the show, which we need all the support we can get right now.

[00:23:35] You have no idea.

[00:23:36] I wish I could tell you in detail why.

[00:23:38] But I'm just telling you, please support this show because unlike all the other talk shows,

[00:23:43] we talk about the narratives and expose them and we try our hardest to do so.

[00:23:49] And I'm telling you that that's 1% of media right now.

[00:23:53] And so please support the 1% of media.

[00:23:57] But if you go to CozyEarth.com forward slash Kate or use the code Kate, what you're going

[00:24:02] to see are the most amazing luxury, the most luxurious, insanely luxurious sheets on the

[00:24:09] planet.

[00:24:09] So this is like luxury squared.

[00:24:11] You are going to get those for her and you're going to enjoy them as well, probably.

[00:24:16] But I'm telling you, this is the gift.

[00:24:18] And also the loungewear is insane, over the top insane.

[00:24:22] Go to CozyEarth.com.

[00:24:23] They're doing it one last time before Christmas.

[00:24:25] So thank you.

[00:24:26] Biggest discount ever.

[00:24:28] 40% off.

[00:24:29] Almost half off Cozy Earth.

[00:24:30] Are you kidding?

[00:24:32] Go take advantage of it only this week.

[00:24:34] You've got a couple more days.

[00:24:35] Okay.

[00:24:36] So I have Suzanne C. Sherman with me and give your website again.

[00:24:40] Suzanne.

[00:24:43] Suzanne C. Sherman dot com.

[00:24:46] And check out our podcast, The Wasatch Report and the Red Hot Chili Prepper.

[00:24:50] I love that.

[00:24:50] And applicable to today's show is my book, Federalism, How Decentralization Can Save America.

[00:24:56] On this particular topic, too, if you just want to read where I'm coming from with this,

[00:25:01] you can go to the Tenth Amendment Center and look for the article, National Concealed

[00:25:06] Carry Reciprocity Bill is a Trojan Horse.

[00:25:09] I wrote this in 2017 when Donald Trump was putting this forth.

[00:25:13] And, you know, this show is about analyzing what government is doing.

[00:25:18] This show is not tribal.

[00:25:19] This show is not going to cater to sides.

[00:25:22] You know I'm very conservative, but I am willing to look at my own side, if you will, and the

[00:25:29] leftist, crazy, lunatic side as well.

[00:25:31] And so somewhere in there is the truth.

[00:25:34] And I appreciate the listeners of this show because it means that they're thinkers.

[00:25:39] It means that they actually want to get to the truth and they're not just tribal and just

[00:25:42] want to hear what they want to hear.

[00:25:44] And so this bill means well.

[00:25:47] This bill is not a good bill.

[00:25:50] And I hate to say that about Massey because I really like him.

[00:25:53] And this bill, anytime we see legislation, and you tell me if I'm right on this, anytime

[00:25:59] we see legislation, Suzanne, coming from the feds, and it can be guys with the greatest

[00:26:04] intentions like Senator Mike Lee, who we consider a constitutionalist.

[00:26:08] That's how he's framed every day.

[00:26:10] Okay.

[00:26:11] And Thomas Massey and all of our supposed good guys.

[00:26:14] Okay.

[00:26:14] Well, I shouldn't say supposed.

[00:26:15] They're good guys.

[00:26:16] But they put forth legislation that puts stuff in the hands of the feds continuously.

[00:26:21] And I know they know better.

[00:26:23] Don't they?

[00:26:24] I mean, what is going on here?

[00:26:26] Why would they want to do that?

[00:26:27] Because when they're saying that we're going to correct something, all they have to do is

[00:26:31] take bad legislation off the books instead of coming up with new legislation that brings

[00:26:37] in Trojan horses, right?

[00:26:39] Yeah, I agree.

[00:26:40] I think they honestly are well-intentioned, but they have an unhistorical view of the role

[00:26:47] of the general government and its relationships to the states.

[00:26:50] Again, I refer to the word federalism.

[00:26:53] I almost titled my book The F-Bomb because that really is the response you seem to get

[00:26:59] from people.

[00:27:00] You know, they just get triggered like that.

[00:27:02] But, you know, for the Second Amendment to apply here to justify this law, you have to,

[00:27:08] again, we went into the misunderstanding that it doesn't confer any rights.

[00:27:13] But you also have to go by the false notion that the 14th Amendment applies to the states.

[00:27:20] We discussed the preamble to the Bill of Rights showing that the 14th Amendment's application

[00:27:26] was unhistorical.

[00:27:27] In fact, one of the Supreme Court justices who was the Chief Justice, John Marshall, who

[00:27:33] was present at the Virginia Ratification Conventions, ruled in a case in 1833 called Barron v.

[00:27:40] Baltimore that the Bill of Rights was never intended to apply to the states and the courts cannot

[00:27:45] do so here, the court meaning the Supreme Court.

[00:27:48] Well, in 1925, when the progressive era was in full swing, the Supreme Court started expanding,

[00:27:56] rewriting the constitutions onto the states, diminishing the separation of powers we had

[00:28:01] during the earlier years.

[00:28:06] So now we have this made-up doctrine, and it's the chief mechanism from which we're getting

[00:28:11] a one-size-fits-all form of government with all the rights emanating from Washington, D.C.,

[00:28:18] instead of the majority of our rights being remained and retained and protected by the states.

[00:28:24] So you can really go into a lot of this and find out another constitutional argument being

[00:28:33] made in favor of this is the full faith and credit clause.

[00:28:36] Again, this is a misinterpretation, misapplication of that clause, which is found in Article 4,

[00:28:43] Section 1.

[00:28:44] And this is problematic because the original intent was, and this was lifted straight from

[00:28:51] the Articles of Confederation without any change.

[00:28:54] The clauses ratified simply ensured citizens in one state could own land or property in

[00:29:00] another with the full rights of a citizen of that state.

[00:29:04] No way was this implied to recognize institutions or licensing of another state.

[00:29:11] So the other argument now, speaking of licensing, is this driver's license.

[00:29:15] Well, people say, well, you know, for crying out loud, my driver's license is recognized in

[00:29:20] other states.

[00:29:21] Well, it is to a point when I moved to Utah after six months, you're expected to have

[00:29:24] your state, your home state's driver's license under your name.

[00:29:29] And that's a voluntary system, by the way.

[00:29:31] It would be economically insane to not allow people to drive in through their states through

[00:29:37] with a license from another state.

[00:29:39] But it's a completely voluntary situation.

[00:29:41] And that's what we have here.

[00:29:43] Utah, I think, has reciprocity with over 30 states.

[00:29:47] Many of the states do.

[00:29:48] California, on the other hand, has reciprocity with zero states.

[00:29:52] So the problem is also, if you look to the different means by which you can get a concealed

[00:29:59] carry permit from whether you're in a may issue state where it's discretionary based on the

[00:30:06] choices of the senior law administration official in your jurisdiction, be it the police chief

[00:30:13] for county sheriff, it's up to their discretion.

[00:30:18] Or you can be in like, well, Utah doesn't require them anymore, but a place like Pennsylvania

[00:30:23] is a shall-assuse state.

[00:30:24] So if you're a law-abiding citizen who's not a member of a prohibited class, if you apply

[00:30:29] and you pay your fee, you have a carry permit.

[00:30:33] Well, California has very stringent requirements.

[00:30:36] You have to test your permits tied to one firearm.

[00:30:39] These restrictions aren't applicable in other states.

[00:30:43] So California is going to say, hey, these people don't have the training that we require

[00:30:47] in our state.

[00:30:49] Our constituents want these.

[00:30:51] So what are we going to do?

[00:30:53] We're going to have a patchwork.

[00:30:54] How does the Supreme Court always justify their hearing a case and expanding their power?

[00:31:00] Due to an inconsistency of state opinions, or here can be state regulations.

[00:31:04] Now we're going to have seven lawyers in wizard costumes coming up with concealed carry regulations

[00:31:14] for the entire country.

[00:31:16] We saw how they did this with Roe versus Wade, which was properly, by the way, returned to

[00:31:22] the states.

[00:31:22] Notice in the same session with Dobbs v. Jackson, where they properly returned the issue of abortion

[00:31:30] to the states.

[00:31:31] They declined to do so in the case of New York Rifle and Pistol Association versus Bruin,

[00:31:37] which, by the way, struck down a state firearms law in New York, and everybody cheered.

[00:31:42] All the pro-gun conservatives cheered because we don't like those guns, so we want the feds

[00:31:47] to take those away.

[00:31:49] That case should have been held the same way as the Dobbs-Jackson case.

[00:31:53] Here's why they didn't do it, because that would necessitate the dismantling of the Bureau

[00:31:59] of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

[00:32:04] Oh, wow.

[00:32:05] And every federal firearms law, everything with the DOJ.

[00:32:09] Wow.

[00:32:09] They make a fortune off of it.

[00:32:11] Of course they're not going to do that.

[00:32:12] Okay, we're going to come right back more with Suzanne C. Sherman.

[00:32:16] Wow.

[00:32:17] Think about that.

[00:32:18] Be right back.

[00:32:18] Kate Daly Show.

[00:32:37] This is the Kate Daly Show.

[00:32:39] I really can't stay.

[00:32:40] Baby, it's cold outside.

[00:32:43] I got to go away.

[00:32:44] Baby, it's cold outside.

[00:32:47] This evening has been so late.

[00:32:50] Yeah, the song that we were told you could not play because, you know, the crap that they

[00:32:56] play now is just so much better than this very innocent song.

[00:33:01] So, can you believe that?

[00:33:03] What?

[00:33:03] Oh, gosh.

[00:33:03] My favorite was the comedian that ran through all of the lyrics that we listen to today compared

[00:33:08] to that song.

[00:33:10] But that song was banned.

[00:33:11] That, you know, ugh, the lunacy.

[00:33:13] So, welcome back, Kate Daly Show.

[00:33:15] I have Suzanne C. Sherman with me.

[00:33:17] And Red Hot Chili Preppers, check it out because I'm telling you, she is excellent on prepping.

[00:33:22] We're not really talking about that today.

[00:33:24] We should be because of what's coming.

[00:33:26] The January 15th port strike, remember, rears its ugly head January 15th.

[00:33:32] Again, we'll have to see what happens with that.

[00:33:34] But could we have shortages?

[00:33:36] Yes.

[00:33:36] You need to prep always.

[00:33:37] I would prep for whatever comes.

[00:33:39] It'll bring you peace of mind.

[00:33:40] And she's got a fantastic show about that.

[00:33:43] Red Hot Chili Preppers.

[00:33:45] So, Suzanne, there's a couple of things.

[00:33:48] Number one, I was thinking a lot about, oh, by the way, the government just released on

[00:33:54] the Fox CIA News Network that it was the government that did those drones.

[00:33:59] Whoops.

[00:34:00] So, Iran got attached in the headlines.

[00:34:02] But it was just, it was an approved, quote unquote, drone, not drone.

[00:34:07] They're not saying drone, just an approved program.

[00:34:10] Okay.

[00:34:11] Anyway, just very bizarre that they're trying to, what they're trying to do with that story.

[00:34:16] But they wanted Iran in the headlines, for sure.

[00:34:18] Make no mistake.

[00:34:20] And also, the pardons.

[00:34:21] Did you want to just make a brief comment on the pardons for pre-pardoning people for years

[00:34:26] on end?

[00:34:27] Yeah.

[00:34:28] You know, your understanding is the same as mine on that.

[00:34:31] You have to have been convicted of federal offense to be pardoned by the president.

[00:34:36] But I think now what they are proposing with this, preemptive pardons, knowing that they

[00:34:45] have been engaged in criminal activity for some time.

[00:34:49] They just want to give people like Fauci a pass.

[00:34:52] And the January 6th committee, Liz Cheney, I mean, she willingly and knowingly destroyed

[00:34:57] evidence.

[00:34:58] So let's give her a pass.

[00:35:00] And the good thing about the Hunter pardon is now he's going to lose his Fifth Amendment

[00:35:08] rights, in air quotes, and he can be compelled to speak.

[00:35:12] The thing that I thought was so hypocritical was this is the same crowd that was apoplectic

[00:35:20] when Trump was, they said Trump was immune.

[00:35:23] The president was immune from crimes committed while in office.

[00:35:27] Well, are you going to be immune or are you not?

[00:35:31] Or do you just not want Trump to be immune?

[00:35:33] But imagine the ramifications if you could do preemptive pardons and you can just run this

[00:35:42] country like a crime syndicate.

[00:35:45] Oh, I'm sorry.

[00:35:46] We already are.

[00:35:47] But now you can get away with it and be comfortable in the fact that you can get away with it.

[00:35:53] So let's get rid of impeachment power, too, while we're at it.

[00:35:56] Right.

[00:35:57] Yeah.

[00:35:57] And my gosh, you know, the lunacy anyway.

[00:36:01] The Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz said that there were more than two

[00:36:09] dozen confidential human sources, but only three were assigned by the FBI to be present

[00:36:15] on January 6th.

[00:36:16] If you believe that I have more oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you.

[00:36:20] These guys have infiltrated so many patriot groups.

[00:36:24] And I just have to say, what a lie.

[00:36:27] And that, again, from Fox CIA Network news, Pentagon news.

[00:36:31] So I just the news coming in just makes me want to hurl.

[00:36:34] But what can I say?

[00:36:35] It's just lie after lie after lie after lie.

[00:36:38] And it's the way they frame the lie to try to get away with the lie because they're not

[00:36:43] going to admit that people have penetrated patriot groups like crazy.

[00:36:46] So, OK, so there I'll let that lie for just a moment.

[00:36:50] The USS Liberty has been on my mind.

[00:36:52] Candace Owens did a great video about a gentleman that survived USS Liberty.

[00:36:56] And this was the attack by the country within the starts with an eye that you're not allowed

[00:37:01] to say.

[00:37:02] And and believe me, there's a biblical Israel.

[00:37:06] There's a Mossad Israel.

[00:37:07] There is a difference.

[00:37:08] And so I just I just want to get your take on USS Liberty because it was an attack.

[00:37:16] And those guys were told they could never talk about it or face death as they were being

[00:37:20] attacked for so long and nothing and so many perished.

[00:37:25] And it was so criminal and awful.

[00:37:27] I will be talking about this later today.

[00:37:29] But I just want to get your take, Susan.

[00:37:31] Well, I saw that same video you did where the ship they said the ship was clearly identified,

[00:37:36] had the United States flag very visible.

[00:37:39] The ship had the numbers on it.

[00:37:41] They had requested an escort from the IDF, which was denied.

[00:37:46] And we have a mutual friend who is former NSA and Army intelligence.

[00:37:52] And we chat.

[00:37:53] We have a little group.

[00:37:54] We chat every day.

[00:37:55] And I said, hey, you know, what's this about the Liberty?

[00:37:58] And here's here's the response.

[00:38:00] The USS Liberty was an NSA collection platform that was collecting against Israel.

[00:38:06] Can I do I can I say that?

[00:38:08] They caught us eavesdropping on them and let us know they didn't like it.

[00:38:13] At the time, they suspected we were collecting information and using it as collateral as collateral

[00:38:20] with the Arab nations or other nations for for negotiations.

[00:38:25] So interesting.

[00:38:27] There's a lot.

[00:38:27] There's a lot there.

[00:38:28] And it won't.

[00:38:29] It's not the first time the United States has lied about events to trigger foreign policy,

[00:38:34] particularly those on, shall we say, the aggressive.

[00:38:39] Yep.

[00:38:39] Yeah, that's true.

[00:38:41] This was during the Six Day War.

[00:38:42] And they were told and ordered by our government military to go into these waters.

[00:38:49] And then this was in 1967.

[00:38:51] And then this attack ensued, even though it was clearly marked.

[00:38:55] And the attack continued and then continued and then continued.

[00:38:58] And they did every single thing they could do to get the ship to go under.

[00:39:03] And it's a dis and but but this is this is the point, though, that I want people to understand.

[00:39:09] There are a lot of military people when they learn the truth about this incident and how

[00:39:13] the guys that survived were reprimanded.

[00:39:15] All they did was survive.

[00:39:16] That was their only crime and how they were reprimanded and how they were threatened by

[00:39:20] the government, our government to never disclose this and just call it an accident.

[00:39:26] I just have to say that many military people then go, well, I'm not going to put up my American

[00:39:30] flag.

[00:39:31] I am not going to love my country.

[00:39:34] You know what?

[00:39:35] We always should love this country, not what the government's done to it.

[00:39:39] And so that is exactly what the deep state would love, is that if we trash on our country,

[00:39:45] if we say our country is the enemy, our country is terrible.

[00:39:49] They love that.

[00:39:50] And so do not do that.

[00:39:51] In fact, when you raise that flag, you should be thinking of that constitution and those founders

[00:39:56] and what it's supposed to stand for, no matter what, how the government defiles that flag

[00:40:01] in our name without our consent.

[00:40:04] So they want you to go anti-American.

[00:40:08] Do not go anti-American.

[00:40:10] In fact, stand up for what's right and oust and out those perpetrators that are ruining

[00:40:17] this world in the name of the USA.

[00:40:20] Your thoughts for the next 30 seconds, Suzanne?

[00:40:24] No, absolutely.

[00:40:25] Let me quote James Madison.

[00:40:26] War is a parent of armies.

[00:40:28] From these proceed debt and taxes.

[00:40:30] Armies, debt and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the dominion of the

[00:40:36] few.

[00:40:36] Has that not come to fruition?

[00:40:39] These guys, I'm not a big fan of Madison after the Virginia plan, but he was prophetic.

[00:40:44] He knew what would happen if the general government had unfettered power.

[00:40:48] And this is where we're at.

[00:40:49] And unfortunately, the military has been the tool by which they have accomplished this.

[00:40:54] They've taken well-meaning people and use them to their own detriment and ours.

[00:40:59] Amen.

[00:40:59] Suzanne C.

[00:41:00] Sherman.

[00:41:00] Thank you, Red Hot Chili Preppers.

[00:41:02] Love her work.

[00:41:03] Get her book, Federalism.

[00:41:04] You will love it.

[00:41:06] You're in for quite an education.

[00:41:07] I'll be right back with Really Graceful.

[00:41:10] You're going to want to hear this, too.

[00:41:12] Great show ahead.

[00:41:13] Thank you.
