092424 SHORT 5 MIN Are We Praying For The Wrong Thing by Kate Dalley

[00:00:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Show!

[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I wonder sometimes, welcome back to the show, by the way.

[00:00:32] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, I know we pray to save this country, right?

[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I know we do that and that's not, that's a great prayer.

[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, to say, okay, you're turning to God.

[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_02]: What does that mean?

[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_02]: You're turning to God and you're saying, hey, you know, pray for this country.

[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_02]: But you know what I've always wondered is, do you pray to have your own eyes open to

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_02]: everything?

[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you pray to be awake?

[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you pray to see what you're not seeing?

[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, don't get me wrong.

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Pray for the country.

[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I get that.

[00:01:05] [SPEAKER_02]: But it just seems futile to say, you know, hey, God, please save our country.

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_02]: But I'm not willing to step out of my comfort zone.

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not willing to invest any time in research.

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not willing to look under the hood of anything because I want a happy world with,

[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_02]: with, you know, rainbows.

[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I just wonder sometimes if we sometimes don't pray for the right thing.

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it depends.

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I think on how you pray.

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Like when I pray like that, I say, Lord, please save this great country.

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_01]: But don't ask me to sacrifice anything to do it.

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_01]: That's so nice.

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_01]: So nice.

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I just wonder how many times how many people out there have actually said

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_02]: a prayer to say, open my eyes.

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I'm willing to look.

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm willing to see it.

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Please let me just kind of absorb what's going on in the reality of what we're up against.

[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Because if we did that, right?

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Then that would put the ball in our court take action and it would put the ball in our

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_02]: court to say, okay, now I'm awake.

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_02]: So I've got to understand like 10th degree level of awake, not just level one.

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, but we're talking deep understanding.

[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's why people are not awake because they try to stay

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_01]: asleep to avoid that.

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I know.

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_01]: They don't want to face that.

[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I know.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I know too many people that, that honestly, they think they're fine.

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_02]: They watch a little Fox news.

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_02]: They need to paper.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh.

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Local papers?

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, come on.

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just a repeat of Washington Post.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_02]: But isn't it amazing that we might not be praying for the right thing?

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, I can't imagine how do you then go in if your God

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_02]: to go save the country.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_02]: If the people aren't willing to even look at the situation, their awful situation

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_02]: and examine that.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think people pray to be awake.

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I think people just want God to do the heavy lifting.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And they just want him to work it all out.

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you don't have to become more intelligent.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to become more aware.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to spend any time.

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_02]: This whole thing with Sean Combs.

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_02]: That breaks open a piece of Hollywood that a lot of people do not want to see.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_02]: They want to turn on the shows for their kids and they don't want to see

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_02]: the evil messaging.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: They don't want to see what the movies are or telling them.

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't watch a movie anymore without without women complaining about men

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_02]: and then complaining about their role in how they've been so oppressed and

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_02]: everything else.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't watch a movie where the message is not black people are oppressed

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_02]: by white people and white people are terrible.

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Can't what find me a movie without that message, please.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I would love to see it.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a really good him about that.

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: The Christian him, the title is,

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_01]: open my eyes that I may see.

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And it basically says that the first, right?

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_01]: My eyes that I may see glimpses of truth thou hast for me.

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Place in my hands the wonderful key that shall unclass and set me free.

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Silently now I wait for the ready my God, the will to see.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Beautiful.

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, it's a great.

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It goes on but it's a great him that basically says that right.

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_02]: So even in the scriptures, it says you know fear not, right?

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_02]: All those times what one for every day of the year, right?

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're not, yet if you really knew the truth,

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't fear because I know more about what's going on

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_02]: because I do a lot of research.

[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I think the state of fear is when you don't want to know and don't know

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_02]: and that's an even bigger state of fear, right?

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And so people keep themselves in that fear by pretty much,

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I think maybe they're praying for the wrong thing.

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, God, open my eyes, right?

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Tell me, show me what am I missing?

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Because then you're at least showing an earnest curiosity

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_02]: to want to see things because you might not know

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_02]: what's really going on.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I just think that what we've been doing hasn't worked

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_02]: and we have to get on a level of a wake

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_02]: that we can actually form game plans against all this.

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we realize how bad Hollywood is.

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we an evil.

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we realize how corrupt our politicians are.

[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think we realize how bad our local communities politicians are.

[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_02]: We're not seeing any of it.

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Be right back, Kate Dallishow.

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, everybody, it's Kate Dalley.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you like this show?

[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you like the show we put out and giving you something else

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_02]: to think about other than kind of the typical messaging?

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And when you get your golden silver from them,

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_02]: You should be buying it.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_02]: You should be buying it anyway.

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Get it from Birch gold.

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Text 98, 98, 98 and text my name, Kate.

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_02]: 98, 98, 98 is the number that you text

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_02]: and then the message should just be my name.

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_02]: K-A-T-E, Kate.

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I really appreciate you doing this.

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You're doing a good thing.
