[00:00:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Can we trade leaders with China for a week? I want a seven-day trial before we fully buy in. The Kate Dalley Show starts now.
[00:00:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Tomorrow will be today, tomorrow. So live today. So the future today will be as the past today as it is tomorrow.
[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi, Uncle Miltie. How are you?
[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm okay. I'm moving back to California.
[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Are you?
[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_03]: You're going back to California.
[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_03]: They have a great program there.
[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_08]: What's the program?
[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's a shared appreciation down payment loan.
[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Shared appreciation.
[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_03]: It's fantastic. We can talk about that.
[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay. We definitely have to talk about that. Welcome to today's show. And of course, you're listening to the Kate Dalley Show. I don't need to remind you. KateDalleyRadio.com.
[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay. So first of all, we got to talk about Zuckerberg. We got to talk about California.
[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_08]: California. There's also a great idea of things people can do to combat the crazy. And of course, well, we have a lot on the docket today. I want to talk a little bit about Charlie Kirk. I want to talk about Tulsi. Okay. Where do you want to start?
[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, before we talk about Zuckerberg, I have a similar situation myself. For the last 10 years, I've been murdering people. And I've decided that I shouldn't have let the government talk me into doing that. So I'm going to change my ways now.
[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Wow. A real come to Jesus moment. Now we can talk about Zuckerberg.
[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Thank you for that setup. I really appreciate it. Oh boy. This was okay. So the whole Zuckerberg thing, I just have to say this right off the bat and I'll give you my feelings on it. Then I want your feelings on it. Okay. If that's okay.
[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_08]: So when I first heard about this, this was my first reaction. I'll just give you my first. So there was a tweet and the tweet specified three different things. And it said, it said, okay, Zuckerberg is, is coming clean. He's, he's, he's basically throwing the, the Biden administration under the bus. And which is good, but he told everybody that, you know, they've kind of forced him to censor.
[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm. So there was a tweet and the tweet said three things. Well, it's gotta be one of three things. Okay. You ready? He's either gotta be leaving the Democrat party. He's either gotta be, um, becoming honest all of a sudden, or he is basically preempting a whistleblower. Those were kind of the, so he could, he could bring the story out before the whistleblower does. And I was kind of laughing and I thought, no, no, I don't.
[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_08]: None of those things work for me. Go ahead. No, there is one thing that works for me though. It's number four. What's that? They're trying to give Facebook some credibility back. Yeah. Right. That's what it is. Right. Oh, it's out now. We're not going to censor you anymore. Oh, it's just so bad. Okay. So this was my initial thought because you've been seeing this lately, right? So all of a sudden Elon's talking, you know, way more conservatively.
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_08]: Then you have Zuckerberg come out. We've had all kinds of individuals, um, all of the sudden sing the tune of the right, right. And, um, be up against censorship when we know that, that this is such a lefty loony thing. And so here's the deal. He is hook, line and sinker into lefty loony ideology. He's not leaving any, any ideology anytime soon.
[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_08]: He's not honest. And he is the creation of deep state. So he never invented Facebook. That was a CIA operation called life log. And they made him when they, when they knew they could not get anybody into life log. Um, you would never voluntarily put in your information. Then what they did was they put Zuckerberg, the fresh faced college kid who never ran a business, who was suddenly given millions of dollars. Cause that happens every day. Just rain and money.
[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_08]: And, um, he was able to start Facebook cause it was such a great idea, even though really nobody had ever done it. Okay. So that's not it. Okay. So he's not honest. And the other thing is, is if he was going to preempt a whistleblower, the whistleblower would be buried by the intelligence arms because he is completely 100% protected. In fact, remember the Senate hearings? Did anything come of that?
[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_08]: No, no, no, no. Um, completely protected.
[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I have a quick question. Okay. When you say the whistleblower would be buried, would they be buried before or after they killed him?
[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_08]: That's what I, well, the mobster way is to just go ahead and put them on the ground and put dirt on their face. You know, it's just so amazing to me that it's not one of those things. Okay. And I, I really feel like, um,
[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_08]: for me, for me, this was just another sign. It was just another, another moment where I'm going, wow, they're really trying to throw this thing. Because when you add it all up together,
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_08]: look, you've got the very worst candidate in history. They didn't even want. Okay. They're shoving the worst, the bottom feeder of the worst at you, the worst female alive, the most idiotic, the most moronic.
[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_08]: They're, they're, they're pushing that at us. Okay. With a bizarre, like pedo-ish VP. Yep. Tampon Tim. And then you have the fact that they're avowed and proud, avowed and proud. That should be a shirt. Communists. Okay. They won't do debates. Fox News is even doing a ticker of how many days it goes for Kamala not to state any policies, but then she's got all this support and money. Okay.
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And usually they don't do that. Usually they're all in like, they don't usually, they're not going to point that out until they're, unless they're told to. And I think Zuckerberg was told to do this. Yeah. The money thing is really interesting to me because like I heard today, something like $500 million, you know, and they just bought a $150 million.
[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_03]: $50 million TV ad package back East. But here's the thing. There's laws about how donations can be made. So their big thing is we're getting this money $5 at a time. Oh yeah. Right? No. Somebody's funding the $500 million and they're pretending they got it $5 at a time. Exactly. Did you hear, did you hear the Obama commercial? Yeah.
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_07]: $5. Five bucks. That is all it takes to make a difference in this election. No.
[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_07]: If every single person watching this pitched in just $5 right now, Kamala and Tim would have the resources they need to win in November.
[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I'm surprised he's not talking in more slum. I mean, I expected more slum because usually he adapts to where, you know, it's five bucks, five bucks. Okay, here we go.
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_07]: Because while Donald Trump's campaign is funded by billionaires looking for a tax cut. Really?
[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_07]: Kamala and Tim have the strongest grassroots team in their corner. Really?
[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_07]: And any amount adds up when we're in it together. I'm sorry, is the media grassroots? I didn't know that.
[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_03]: To get another $500 million in their fund, all that would have to happen is for a hundred million people to send them $5.
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Just five bucks.
[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_03]: That's it. Just a hundred million of us.
[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh my gosh. Make a difference. Just give your five bucks. Don't worry about what we're going to do to you. Just give us your $5.
[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh my heavens. All right. So what do I think the game plan is? What's the game plan?
[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_08]: I think that they have Zuck doing this. Zuckerberg is not going to do this on his own. This is a play.
[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_08]: This is something he is told to do. And I know it sounds so weird for me to say, I think they're throwing it.
[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_08]: But they're not even trying to make the economy look better. They've imploded it and they're not even trying.
[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Usually in the year, preemptively, they try a little. No, not even a little bit.
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_08]: So when I saw Elon and Zuckerberg, you know, you know, disavowing the party really publicly or the administration, I thought, yeah, this is a play.
[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_08]: But that's me. I don't know. What do you think?
[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I could be wrong.
[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_03]: In some ways, I think they're really making an appeal to the moronic half of the United States to elect her.
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, if you do everything wrong in an election, this would be it.
[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_08]: If you are trying to repel people, this would be it.
[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_08]: The majority of the country, you're trying to repel them.
[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, look at the Obama years. They tried to get people on board to become a moderate gobbledygook, whatever, a blob of you don't really care about the Constitution and you're willing to see the black man as president.
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_08]: So there you go. I mean, that's what they really tried to do.
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_08]: With Kamala, it's a different story.
[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, she's really beyond the moronic.
[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_08]: So I think they're shoving out the worst and they're kind of throwing it.
[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_03]: That's me. So although, you know, the polls do say she's leading by three votes right now.
[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, my gosh. Leading by three votes.
[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_08]: And in the fear corner, I guess we're supposed to be afraid of Putin.
[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm not afraid of Putin. He's the least of our worries.
[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_08]: But what was going on on the foreign front?
[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, you know, the Russians, Putin, launched a big missile attack that half of Ukraine was hit by missiles or drone attacks.
[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Half of the Ukraine.
[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_03]: How many people live in half of the Ukraine? I don't know.
[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_03]: But a whopping four dead.
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Whoa, no.
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Four dead.
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. I mean, it's traumatic for the entire nation of Ukraine and the Russians are cheering at their victory.
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, my God.
[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Hundreds of missiles and drone attack.
[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_08]: How long do we have to endure?
[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_03]: And four people died.
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I can't remember a war where so many people died.
[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Not our fear.
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_08]: That's the...
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_08]: We should...
[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_08]: You should be fearing your government.
[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_08]: You know, fear Ukraine, fear Russia.
[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Russia? I mean, come on.
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_08]: This is getting ridiculous.
[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Ridiculous.
[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_08]: So, I can't believe that was actually a news story.
[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_03]: A big news story.
[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_08]: But it was a big news story.
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, the...
[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_08]: And I know there are people that sincerely do support Hormala.
[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_08]: I get it.
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Their camp is very, very...
[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_08]: It's an interesting camp.
[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_08]: This was really all they had to say about the DNC last week.
[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_08]: Here we go.
[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_08]: The Democratic National Convention.
[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Here we go.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_00]: The vibe is upbeat.
[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It's happy.
[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_00]: It's inspirational.
[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_00]: It's time to go.
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It's time to get to work.
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_00]: The vibe is electric.
[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Really?
[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_00]: You can feel the energy.
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_00]: It's the vibe.
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I can feel the energy in my bones.
[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_00]: The vibes are great.
[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: The vibes are fantastic.
[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_08]: The vibes.
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_08]: It's not whether somebody can do their job.
[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_08]: It's not based on anything that has to do anything with becoming president of this country
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_08]: or who's actually running it.
[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_08]: But the vibes.
[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Vibes are good.
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_03]: A man I highly respect, though, said something today that's kind of important, I think.
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, what?
[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_03]: I have a lot of respect for him.
[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_03]: James Carville.
[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Gross.
[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Said that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. should be in an insane asylum.
[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_08]: Carville should be in an insane asylum.
[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_08]: Carville has a mental deficiency.
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_03]: No, he's a strange old bird.
[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_08]: He's like a Michael Moore deficiency.
[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Mental deficiency.
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_08]: They both have the same one, you know?
[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Ew.
[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't even...
[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Is he even relevant anymore?
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Does anyone even listen to him?
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_03]: No, no.
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And I don't even know why they brought him out of the mothballs.
[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't either.
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, I don't know.
[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_08]: I think it's bizarre.
[00:12:26] [SPEAKER_08]: But just remember this.
[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Inflation is our friend.
[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_08]: So, if anything today, remember that.
[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_08]: Inflation is our friend.
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_08]: We'll be right back.
[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_08]: We have a lot of really good information on today's show as far as this nation, what it
[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_08]: was founded on coming up to in the last hour.
[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_08]: And so, I want to get to that, too, because it's really important that we understand a couple
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_08]: of things about the founding when you're talking to people about this election.
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_11]: There you go.
[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_08]: We'll be right back on The Kate Daly Show.
[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Stay with us.
[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_08]: That is probably coming.
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_08]: And that is this warning.
[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_08]: When the transition takes place, fiat to crypto, the Federal Reserve will be eliminated, could
[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_08]: be eliminated, and everyone will cheer, of course.
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Everyone's going to cheer because, oh my gosh, who would not cheer over this?
[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_08]: However, just because the U.S. monetary system will be under the guardianship of the
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_08]: U.S. Treasury means little.
[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_08]: The illusion will continue digitally.
[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_08]: We'll have a lot of deceptions like this.
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Where we think are wins and they're not.
[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_08]: And it's very bizarre.
[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_08]: It's going to get really bizarre.
[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_08]: So, I just wanted all of you, you know, please text 989898, that phone number.
[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_08]: And it's a phone number, six digits.
[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_08]: 989898.
[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_08]: And then text my name, Kate, and you'll get some free information about what's coming and
[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_08]: how to safeguard yourself for everything.
[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Also, to buy gold and silver because those commodities actually work and are real and are actually,
[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_08]: you can handle them and they retain value.
[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_08]: So, you can stop the inflation on your accounts, your retirement, all of that if you're going
[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_08]: to back it with gold and silver, which can be free to do.
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_08]: And Birch can walk you through that.
[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_08]: But Birch Gold has a really stellar reputation.
[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_08]: Ron Paul loves Birch Gold, talks about them all the time and does business with them too.
[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_08]: So, please go and text 989898, text my name, Kate, and get the free info.
[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_04]: This is The Kate Daly Show.
[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_08]: You're listening to The Kate Daly Show, katedalyradio.com.
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_08]: You can catch me on patriot.tv at night.
[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_08]: And just go to patriot.tv forward slash forwards, The Kate Daly Show, and sign up.
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_08]: And you can watch us at night right on your TV.
[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_08]: Isn't that nice?
[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_08]: Or your phone, whichever.
[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_08]: We're not picky.
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_08]: And patriot.tv has a lot of wonderful podcasts and a lot of content, a thinking content, which
[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_08]: I really like because I really feel like we need to think, based on yesterday's show, we
[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_08]: need to really think a lot deeper.
[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_08]: And we need to understand how to do that, how to do it better, and how to teach our young'uns
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_08]: how to do that better too.
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_08]: We're not very successful in that department.
[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_08]: So, a couple of things.
[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Number one, I just wanted to mention something that I thought was a great idea.
[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_08]: There was a guy that did a little bit of video, and he said, these Harris signs are amazing.
[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_08]: And I thought, okay, why are they amazing?
[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_08]: You know?
[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_08]: And he said, they all said, illegals for Harris.
[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Right?
[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_08]: Illegals for Harris.
[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_08]: And of course, gang members for Harris, socialists for Harris.
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Can we please get creative and do creative things?
[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, if we're going to have any breakthrough at all with people, can we please do things
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_08]: like that?
[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_08]: I think that's great.
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I want one for my yard that says, dead people for Harris.
[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_08]: Dead people for Harris.
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_03]: So, tell me about California.
[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_03]: So, California has passed some legislation, a program, they call it the Dream for All Program.
[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_03]: And they're going to give out $250 million to assist thousands of first-time homebuyers
[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_03]: this year.
[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_03]: They can receive up to $150,000 towards the down payment in what's called a shared appreciation
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_03]: loan.
[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_03]: So, what that means is-
[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Shared?
[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Shared.
[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_03]: So, they're sharing the appreciation.
[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_03]: As the home appreciates the equity that builds up, part of that goes to repay the state for
[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_03]: giving them this money, the $150,000.
[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_03]: For one thing, they make it out like it's this great program, okay?
[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_03]: The fact is that a $250 million set aside at $125,000 per person, they can only help 2,000
[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_03]: people.
[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_03]: So, it's not a huge- They make it out like we're going to help everybody in the world buy
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_03]: a home, but really the money that's set aside for it can only help 2,000 people.
[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_03]: So, it's not that dramatic, but it is 250,000 people.
[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, and now they have authorized it to- that illegals can qualify to get this money.
[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_03]: So, that's the real problem.
[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_03]: They're going to help 2,000 illegals and not help any Americans.
[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_03]: That's the issue with the program.
[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_08]: But we all get raised taxes to pay for it.
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, we won't.
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_03]: California people will.
[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Right.
[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Hmm.
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's why they're leaving in droves.
[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_03]: No, it's just another one of those nonsense communist things.
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to help everybody buy a home.
[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_03]: All 2,000 of you.
[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_08]: All 2,000 of you.
[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's ridiculous.
[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_08]: It sounds great.
[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_08]: It's ridiculous.
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Positive.
[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_08]: So positive, really.
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, you got to love it.
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi, caller.
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Welcome to the show.
[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_08]: Go right ahead.
[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Caller, welcome to the show.
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Go right ahead.
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_06]: It just pisses me off.
[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_06]: Uncle Miltie, you say it's not going to raise our taxes, but, you know, they get bailed out in the end anyway, right?
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, sure.
[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_06]: They do.
[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_06]: It's like my wife and I, we've saved and we've rented for 10 years and we're finally just now getting into buying a house, getting 20% down is a huge thing.
[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_06]: Right.
[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_06]: And now to see, I mean, it's absurd.
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, it is.
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Nope.
[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Anyway.
[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes, it is.
[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm with you.
[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm with you, caller.
[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.
[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_08]: 888-673-1450.
[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_08]: Of course, you can call in today.
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_08]: We've got the whole show.
[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_08]: 888-673-1450.
[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_08]: I want to hear from you.
[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know anyone who owns a home that didn't rent for years and years and years first.
[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_08]: It's just, yeah, it's what you do.
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Saving a down payment or doing things like going in the military so you qualify for a BA loan, different ways to do it.
[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_03]: But all of us rented at one time in our lives.
[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my gosh.
[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_08]: I felt like I lived in Compton apartments.
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_08]: You know what I mean?
[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_08]: I did.
[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_08]: The crack whore apartments.
[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, I felt like it was a lot of that before we could finally have a house.
[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Absolutely.
[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_08]: And it was, you know, the kids later.
[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, after, you know, we started having kids.
[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_03]: But one of the things Kamala has said about programs like this, the one she wants to do, is it will help boost the home building.
[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, if all they can help is 2,000 people, how much boost is the home building industry going to get out of that?
[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Better build another 2,000 homes, guys.
[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Talking about Kamala.
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_08]: Did crack whore.
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_10]: It reminded me.
[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Be right back.
[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_08]: We'll be right back.
[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Kate Daly Show.

[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_08]: We'll be right back.
[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_08]: We'll be right back.
[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_08]: So, that's awesome.
[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_08]: That's awesome, right?
[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Also, we film the show every single day.
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_08]: It's on in the evening, 8 o'clock Mountain, 10 o'clock Eastern, and you can catch it every day.

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_08]: There are many, many wonderful shows there that you're going to love.
[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_08]: My friend Sam Sorbo is there.
[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_08]: And the content is really good.
[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_08]: So, go over to Patriot.TV.
[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_08]: Join Patriot.TV forward slash The Kate Daly Show.
[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_04]: This is The Kate Daly Show.
[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_08]: All right.
[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Welcome back.
[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_08]: You're listening to The Kate Daly Show.
[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_08]: And we have so much on the docket today to get to.
[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_08]: So, we're going to try to get to it all.
[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_08]: And I do want to get your two cents, though.
[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_08]: So, 888-673-1450.
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_08]: 888-673-1450.
[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_08]: I'd love to take your call and see where you're at on everything that we're talking about.
[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_08]: I also wanted to mention, too.
[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_08]: All right.
[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_08]: So, we have a lot going on in government, obviously.
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_08]: If you want to protect your IRA, get your free kit on gold by just texting the word Kate to 989898.
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_08]: And I'm telling you that because there's some very, very good free information here that can really help you.
[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_08]: I would also buy gold and silver.
[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_08]: I wouldn't wait.
[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_08]: Birch Gold is amazing.
[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_08]: They do a fantastic job at getting you the facts and doing it in such a great way.
[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_08]: They're very red-pilled.
[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_08]: And this is why Jordan Peterson and Steve Bannon and, of course, Ron Paul all love Birch Gold.
[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_08]: But I'm telling you that they're going to make it seamless to help you, and it won't cost you anything,
[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_08]: to roll over your retirement account while preserving your tax advantage status.
[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_08]: And you can make sure it's backed up by gold and silver.
[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_08]: So, make sure and text 989898 and text my name Kate.
[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_08]: And you can get that free info kit right now.
[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay?
[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_08]: 989898 and my name Kate.
[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_08]: K-A-T-E.
[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_08]: So simple.
[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's talk about California.
[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Let's talk about this housing thing because there's more to it than just California.
[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_03]: So, the program in California is actually designed that it's only going to help 2,000 people out of a population of 42 million people.
[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_03]: It's helping no one.
[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_03]: But the money, the $250 million, is going to end up in somebody's pocket.
[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe a developer.
[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe.
[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_03]: So, this is a little more local.
[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_03]: But in the state of Utah, the communist governor, Cox, has, and him, and he's decided that there should be a program in Utah called Utah First Homes,
[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_03]: a starter home project, $150 million they've budgeted for with an ambitious goal of creating 35,000 new starter homes by the year 2028.
[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Four years.
[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Here's the problem with that.
[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_03]: If you take $150 million and divide it by the 35,000 new starter homes it's supposed to create, that's $4,200 a home.
[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_03]: What is 40?
[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_03]: In a market where the average home price is $600 and something thousand, what is a $4,200 investment by the taxpayers going to do to help anybody?
[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_03]: One mortgage payment?
[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_03]: A mortgage.
[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Could you buy now?
[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Save one month free.
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my gosh.
[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, it's ridiculous.
[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_03]: It's worse than the old car loans.
[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_03]: But they make it sound like they're helping people.
[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_03]: We're helping people.
[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_03]: In this program, the only people that are going to help are the developers that get that $4,200 per home.
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_08]: And you're right.
[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_08]: You're right.
[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_08]: And Miltie's right.
[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_08]: And, of course, they're picking winners and losers.
[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_08]: And you're seeing that with all the programs.
[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_08]: Did you know that over half the states in America right now have at least a million dollars set aside for starter home programs like this?
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_03]: If they were honest about it and just came out and said, we're starting a $150 million lottery for first-time home buyers.
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Buy a ticket.
[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Buy a ticket.
[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, and if you win, you're going to get your $4,200.
[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_08]: About a month ago, they announced that in over 2,000 cities, there's $1 million being given.
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_08]: In 200 cities across America, over $1 million being given at least for this program.
[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_08]: These programs are 100% unconstitutional.
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_08]: These programs are robbing you, the taxpayer, of your money so that government can look like it's doing a freebie so that people can get reelected.
[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Hold on, caller.
[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_03]: So one thing.
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_03]: This is about first-time home buyers.
[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_03]: But let's say that the state of California wanted to use $125,000 for each of their homeless people to help them buy a home.
[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_03]: That program in the state of California would cost almost $3 billion.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Ouch.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Just for their homeless.
[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_08]: Interesting.
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi, caller.
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Welcome to the show.
[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Go right ahead.
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_09]: Well, hey, Kate.
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_09]: Hey.
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_09]: Hi there.
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_09]: Hi.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_09]: Good.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_08]: Go right ahead.
[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_09]: So what's really interesting to me is if you look at who makes up most state legislatures now, you have a lot of realtors and people who are in the business of construction.
[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_09]: Yep.
[00:26:41] Yeah.
[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_09]: So, again, it's this special interest that's padding their own pockets and lining their own pockets in order to make – it's money laundering.
[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_09]: Honestly, it's just money laundering, right?
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_09]: Right.
[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_09]: You're exactly right.
[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_09]: And the crazy part is is that all of these special programs are just adding to the inflation.
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_09]: Yep.
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_09]: Yep.
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_09]: Because if you're going to give away all of these dollars for a new home, it's just – then all the realtors can ask more money for the house.
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_09]: Yep.
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_09]: So it artificially inflates housing again.
[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_09]: It just is maddening that they think that – well, because they don't feel the effects of it because they get the money, but the rest of us feel the effects long term with that added cost packed onto everything else.
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Yep.
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_08]: You're right.
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_08]: No, you're absolutely right.
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Thank you for that.
[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_08]: Really appreciate the call.
[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_08]: You know, it's funny, too, because – not funny, but sad.
[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, we talk about Utah because that's where we're at right now, and I'll tell you, our governor – oh, what a sellout.
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_08]: He's so horrid and such an embarrassment to our state and so Biden-loving, you know, just Kamala-loving.
[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Anyway, he threatened rural communities last year, threatened rural communities that they had better get going with the government housing programs, and they better do it fast, or he'll make them.
[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, it was astounding, to tell you the truth.
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Is that going on in your state?
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm telling you, we have big problems.
[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_08]: And then, of course, you know, the White House – ugh.
[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_08]: The White House came out in March, and they did their huge plan for lower housing costs for the working family nationwide, of course.
[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_08]: They have no – there is no constitutionality for any of this.
[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Zero.
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_08]: The government was never intended or designed to ever be in the funding of housing.
[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_08]: That is something that the private sector does and people do for themselves.
[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_08]: This is not something that's constitutional in any way, shape, or form.
[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_08]: And yet, look at people.
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Because they named it affordable, people say it all the time.
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, we need more affordable housing for all those people.
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm living in my house, but we need affordable housing for all the people that can't afford it.
[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_08]: No.
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_08]: No, no, no.
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_08]: They can work their way up, too, just like you did.
[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_03]: The state of Utah, in their 2025 budget, set aside $45 million for affordable housing.
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_03]: But not just affordable.
[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_03]: There's affordable and there's deeply affordable.
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Two types of affordable and deeply affordable.
[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_03]: $45 million.
[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Now, think about it.
[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_03]: If there's 100,000 people who need affordable housing in the state of Utah, that's not a lot of money.
[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_08]: If you had a mayor that was worth their salt, if you had a city council that was worth their salt – I haven't met one yet.
[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_08]: But if you do have one, thank the Lord that you've got one.
[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_08]: But I haven't seen it in America for a long time.
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_08]: But if you have county commissioners in your area that are adopting all of this affordable housing everywhere, aren't you kind of wondering why they're doing it?
[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Aren't you kind of wondering why?
[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_08]: What are they getting for that?
[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_08]: And then they turn around and they say, look at me as your mayor, county commissioner, city council.
[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Look what we've done for you.
[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_08]: And all they did was steal from all of you.
[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_08]: They just went into your house, robbed you, and now they're standing out in the corner giving away all your goods and saying to you that you should thank them for helping.
[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay?
[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_08]: This is where people come in.
[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_08]: If somebody wants to help you get into a home, great.
[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Not a problem.
[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_08]: When you have to rob people to do it in taxation and then you try to give it away, it's called plunder.
[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_08]: It's very wrong.
[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_08]: It's very, very wrong.
[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_08]: And we as a nation have now adopted this as something that we like to see government do.
[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_08]: I like to see that.
[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, they're helping.
[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_08]: I was watching a show with RFK's family and all they could talk about the family was spouting off about how the government's supposed to come in and help you.
[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Only the government.
[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Shocking.
[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Shocking that people could get to that, right?
[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_08]: Be right back.
[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_08]: Kate Daly Show.
[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_04]: This is the Kate Daly Show.
[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Peace.
[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_05]: Major spells, tells, house spells, miss spells, knocks me on my knees.
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_08]: Welcome back.
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_08]: You're listening to the Kate Daly Show.

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_08]: People ask me where I get mine because they know I get sent, you know, all kinds of stuff from all kinds of companies.
[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_08]: But let me just tell you, I've run the gamut on supplements and ActivateFIQ.com, one of the very best out there.

[00:32:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Go peruse it and look.
[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_08]: You'll see what I'm talking about.
[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Have you ever heard the saying, don't look a gift horse in the mouth?
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Do you know where that came from?
[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't.
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_03]: It came from originally, horse's teeth are regarded as an excellent guide to the age and quality of the horse.
[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_03]: So in the old days, when if someone gave you a gift of a horse, it would be considered ungrateful and rude to check the horse's teeth to see the quality of the gift.
[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Ah, okay.
[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_03]: The point is, when the government gives us a gift, we best look the gift horse in the mouth.
[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_08]: You best check the teeth.
[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_03]: You best do it.
[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_08]: I will definitely look at the teeth.
[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Boy, the picking of winners and losers.
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_08]: That is what government does the best.
[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_08]: And that's what it's turned into.
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_08]: How did this happen?
[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_08]: How do you think we got to a point where most Americans feel like that it's government's job not to protect our rights, but to give things away with tax money and call them free?
[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_08]: When did we get to a point?
[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_08]: Have you ever made any headway with somebody that really felt like that was government's job?
[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_08]: Because listening to the Kennedy family, it was shocking to hear them talk about the fact that, well, of course, government's supposed to do that.
[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Only government.
[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_08]: Government's the only answer.
[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_08]: They have to do it all.
[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_08]: They've got to give to the poor.
[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_08]: They have to help people.
[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_08]: No, we help.
[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_08]: We help each other.
[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_08]: That's what grows our character as a nation.
[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think people who believe that way have two issues.
[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Number one, they're mostly lazy people.
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And number two, they think that theft is a legitimate way to help people.
[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, because the government's doing it.
[00:34:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's okay.
[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_03]: The government can steal from you to help other people.
[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_03]: The idea of charity is gone.
[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_03]: It's gone.
[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_03]: And yet, who gets criticized for charitable things they do?
[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_03]: The church.
[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Your church.
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_03]: My church.
[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you're right.
[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_03]: The Baptist church.
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_03]: You're right.
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Anything they do charitably is frowned upon.
[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_11]: Mm-hmm.
[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_03]: It's far better to let the government steal your money and let them dole it out.
[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes.
[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_08]: For so long, it was always the churches.
[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes.
[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_08]: The churches and your neighbors that helped.
[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes.
[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_08]: And so, has anyone been able to make any headway?
[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_08]: You know, Tulsi endorsed Trump today.
[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_08]: And what's funny about that, we had her on the show.
[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm.
[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_08]: And she really, I have to give her credit where credit's due.
[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_08]: This was a raging liberal.
[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_08]: So much so that they put her in as, you know, head of the DNC.
[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_08]: She was a raging liberal.
[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_08]: And she finally realized that it's all weird smoke and mirrors and bizarre behavior and
[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_08]: the crazy about government's role in your life.
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_08]: And she still has the bend toward government has to help the poor people always and only,
[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_08]: okay, that's my criticism, and only, okay, the government.
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_08]: So she still has that.
[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_08]: But don't you always wonder what flips people?
[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_08]: When do they finally see the light?
[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_08]: When do they finally get it that their ideology might be something that's a little off?
[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_08]: How do you flip somebody?
[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Have you ever seen somebody flip?
[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Very seldom.
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean-
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_08]: How do we influence to do that?
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_03]: You can't.
[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think you can influence.
[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_03]: All you can do is try to educate.
[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And I think lessons in logic are the best way because it's logic that allows you to figure
[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_03]: this out.
[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Because logic either makes sense, something either makes sense, logical sense, or it doesn't.
[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_03]: And if you understand how logic works, then you can see, wait a minute, that doesn't make
[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_03]: sense.
[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_03]: They're saying they're going to help people, but the math doesn't work.
[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_08]: The math doesn't work.
[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_08]: No, I'm with you.
[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_08]: I remember Chrisanne Hall said it was when she started working and she realized how much
[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_08]: they were taking in taxes and that kept going up.
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Well, I did.
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_08]: Maybe that could be.
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I saw a flip like that.
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Judy's brother, my wife's brother, when he first graduated from Berkeley, he was a little
[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_03]: liberal.
[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh no, I just got like a vision in my eyes, but go ahead.
[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_03]: And he got his first, I'll never forget the day he came home with his first paycheck and
[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_03]: it was like, what is this?
[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_03]: What is it?
[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_03]: What is social security tax?
[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_03]: What is this tax?
[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_03]: What is that?
[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_03]: He was flabbergasted and he became conservative after that very quickly.
[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_08]: Interesting.
[00:37:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Interesting that that's the thing.
[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_08]: I always wonder, you know, what is going to be the catalyst?
[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_08]: I do know, I have a friend whose daughter used to be a raging lib.
[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, the idiot kind.
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, where they say things and you're, it's like a homology, you just want to cower.
[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_08]: And she married, she ended up with somebody, dating somebody and married somebody very conservative.
[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_08]: And over the course of a couple of years, all of a sudden she started realizing, wait a second,
[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_08]: he's right about that and about that and about that.
[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_08]: And Hey, so I do know we can influence people.
[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_08]: I do know that there is that ability.
[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_08]: How do we do it effectively?
[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_08]: Because people are under such delusions now.
[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_08]: How do you pull them out of the delusion to talk some sense into them without straining
[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_08]: the relationship beyond reproach, like as far as just never being able to talk to them
[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_08]: again?
[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_08]: How far can you go in getting somebody to see the light?
[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_03]: But you know, that doesn't always work.
[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Like look at James Carville, the screwball.
[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_03]: He was married to Mary Matlin, who was a big Republican Party apparatic.
[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_03]: And it never changed him.
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Hi, caller.
[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_08]: Welcome to the show.
[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_08]: Go right ahead.
[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, Kate and Malti.
[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Hope you guys are doing well.
[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Good.
[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, I appreciate your conversation here.
[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And I've kind of studied things over the last 30 years.
[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I've come up with kind of two main...
[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_08]: You got 30 seconds.
[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_08]: 30 seconds.
[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_08]: Talk fast.
[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I can do it.
[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_02]: One, charity is an act of individual choice, not collective force.
[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Two, government should not be forcing me to pay for anything that gives money to people
[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_02]: to live on, unless, of course, you're a government employee.
[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And if I had to describe the way governments have come in the last number of decades, I would
[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_02]: have to use one word and that's grifters.
[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes.
[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_08]: You're right.
[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_08]: It is.
[00:39:20] [SPEAKER_08]: They're grifters.
[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Yes.
[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_08]: A hundred percent.
[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.
[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_08]: Brilliant.
[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.
[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Thanks.
[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Have a good one.
[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_08]: I really appreciate you.
[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_08]: Thank you.
[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_08]: That was great.
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_08]: And that is so true.
[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_08]: It's grifting.
[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_08]: When you look at who's in office and who's been there forever, all the dinosaurs, they've
[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_08]: been there forever.
[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_08]: And they haven't held jobs.
[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_08]: A lot of them have not held jobs outside of getting our tax dollars paid to them.
[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_08]: So true.
[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_08]: And by the way, there's over 40 million now out of our population, 40 million government
[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_08]: paid jobs to run the government all the way down to local.
[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_08]: 40 million spots.
[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Be right back.
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_08]: Kate Daly show.
[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_08]: Thanks, you guys.
[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_08]: Thanks, you guys.
