[00:00:02] Isn't common sense supposed to be common? The struggle is real, my friends. The Kate Dalley Show starts now. Easter, that's a weird tradition. Easter, the day Jesus rose from the dead, what should we do? How about eggs? Well, what does that have to do with Jesus? Alright, we'll hide him. I don't follow your logic.
[00:00:32] Don't worry, there's a bunny. I love that clip. Jim Gaffigan, Easter. Yep, we talk about eggs and then bunnies. And I just, I want to leave the phone lines open in this hour. And a big thank you to Dr. Lee Merritt for coming on because so good to hear from her.
[00:01:03] And you know, every time she comes on, sometimes we'll talk about some of the same things, as you notice. But she always brings something different to the table, something else that she's learned because she's constantly learning, constantly doing that. And I feel like we're very similar in that way. And we both love going back in the newspaper archive to find information. There's a wealth of information if you just go back and start really hunting it down and start looking.
[00:01:28] And I'm going to give you my unconventional Easter message. And it's going to tie in. Trust me, it'll tie in. But I do have some things to say today. And with Easter approaching, of course, that's the most important day we celebrate every year. Even over Christmas, it's the most important day because of the act involved, the atonement that saved mankind.
[00:01:56] And if you're not Christian, it's okay. I promise you won't fall apart by listening to this show. For the very few atheists out there that listen, right? And I would say that for the most part, maybe you're nodding in agreement. It was the most important day, most important act. And so this is truly a favorite for me because of the reflection of what it's about. Okay. And I know how we've commercialized it. I get it.
[00:02:25] But it's truly, and in some ways you kind of are baffled as to how we did it that way. It doesn't make any sense. Well, it does when you start looking at why in some ways. But it has nothing to do with the atonement. So I'm so grateful. I'm humbly, humbly grateful for that act. Um, so I'm going to push that aside for just a moment because I want to kind of tell you
[00:02:52] something that I feel about, um, about bringing truth to the air and stay with me on this for just a second. And then I want to take your phone calls because I really want to hear from you on this. This is an important topic because I think all of you are going to go, wow, that's probably what I'm, what you're thinking too. Okay. So, uh, two years ago, um, well, eight years ago, really a decade ago, I've been on the radio for 14 and a half years and, uh, eight years ago, really, um, eight to not, well,
[00:03:21] 10 years ago started kind of changing for me because I was really going into the deep dives and understanding more about our world and what we've been told. And a couple of, uh, I've always known that everything was there. There was a lot of control by the deep state to what's going on, but never so much as two years ago. And I've mentioned this many times on the show, uh, two years ago when I, I said on the show in a very, it was very unpopular for me to say this, um, that it was all theater.
[00:03:49] It was all theater, um, entire, uh, presidency, all theater. And a lot of people had a hard time with that. I got emails, you know, of course people sending, how dare you, you know, and, um, everybody witnessed 2020, but then for some reason we wanted to just forget that we witnessed that and go back to the belief that whatever, whatever the majority was going to put into office was going to go into office and that we have outsiders right inside, inside Washington, DC.
[00:04:19] And the more you probably think about that, if you were really honest with yourself, you would probably start to understand what I was saying two years ago. Um, because I remember at the time I said, if, if the cases against Trump, even though we know that they weren't true, if those, if those quietly slip away all four cases, you're good. Now that'll be one of your proofs. You'll know now that a lot of this is, or all of it's theater.
[00:04:46] If you, if you witness that and then that came to pass and a lot more people went, oh, wow. Uh, Hmm. We're, we're kind of, we didn't realize that, that, that it was this controlled. Okay. To this extent. And there are people you like and people you don't like, but they go to that argument because it's kind of like watching wrestling. You're, you like this person in the wrestling ring and you like the, you don't like this person in the wrestling ring.
[00:05:16] And they, um, that's really played up. And this is not popular sentiment on conservative radio because we want to believe that our voted, our vote mattered and all of our votes were accumulated. And even though they Biden'd us in 2020, that they, that, that this time we won. Now, you know, that doesn't make sense. Okay. They could do it then they could do it this time too. So it doesn't make any sense, but people cling to it.
[00:05:43] And, um, and maybe cause it's just easy to cling to because you can't think that things could be that way. So here's the big question that arises. And I got a little depressed to tell you the truth. It was depressing at the time thinking, oh my gosh, everything I was studying, I was like, oh, why even be on the radio? Why even say these things? Why even, I mean, my gosh, if it's all controlled, then why? Isn't that the question you probably have had too? Because what do we try to do on the show? We try to go to solutions.
[00:06:15] And will those solutions be in vain? Well, I'm going to give you the answer to that. Maybe I don't have the answer, but I'll give you my answer to that. And something that I've really learned about this. Okay. Talk radio is a really important medium. Most people don't understand the talk radio audience. The ones that are the ones that get to, you know, kind of control the shows that are on or what have you.
[00:06:45] And talk radio is supposed to be for learning. It's supposed to be education. It's supposed to be an understanding of what's happening. And it's been kind of turned into, you know, this side, that side, this side, that side. Rush was the king of that. It was like our side, their side, our side, their side, and over and over and over again. And people get to the point where they go, well, talking about it, is anything going to work?
[00:07:10] And here's the hard answer, but it's actually not bad. It's not a bad answer when you start to think about it. Is what I'm doing helping? I hope. I hope that being, I hope that the education, I hope that the understanding, the lying, everything that we're exposing on the show is helping. And will we be able to save this?
[00:07:37] Well, if you read scripture, the answer you probably already know, because we already know the end game is no. Okay. So now what do you do with that piece of information? You won't be able to save the world. You won't be able to do it. We won't be able to do it in this way, the ways that we think we can. Okay. So does it make it futile to be invested, to understand, to fight it, to understand what's happening? And the answer to that is yes, it's vital.
[00:08:06] And why is that then? Because if we can't, if we can't get the resolution, if we can't get to, if we can't get to the solution because we're all gathered here to try to save it. Okay. Then what's the, what, why, how, how is that vital then? And the answer is going to be something that people don't want to hear, but it's so important. Something that I've learned humbly in, in this experiment of talk radio and going down
[00:08:35] into the, um, into the cave as the canary, so to speak, to do 38,000 hours of research for you. Okay. And for me to understand what was going on and I've come out of it without, I don't have this, this zeal to save the world, but I do have the zeal to try to, I know that because I know, you know, I read scripture and I believe in scripture and what, from what that tells us,
[00:09:05] I know that the outcome isn't going to be what we want right now. But I do know this, every act you do, every act, every individual act, you post something in your names on it. You vote in your names on that. Everything that you're putting your name to everything that you do, you go and sit in that County commission meeting. You go and you, um, do all of these things, right?
[00:09:34] What does it do for you? It increases your character. It increases your integrity. It increases faith. It also increases your ability to stand for truth. What it's doing for you individually. Are we, are we kind of outnumbered? Do they have a lot of control? Yes. Yes. But it still matters where we land in all of this.
[00:10:04] So it matters if we are a person of integrity and character and we stand for something and we stand for truth. Because by the, when you get to the end of this, you're going to look back on and be very reflective about a life that you've had. And then what is that life going to stand? What's it going to say? Because I promise you the things I remember about people that have passed on are the times
[00:10:29] that they stood in the midst of, of everything against them, but they still stood for truth and they still had character and they still had integrity and they were still good people. That's why we call them good people. And when I, it would have been probably very easy for Christ to come and do the atonement and go, but he didn't. He led a life, albeit short, but he led a life where it was precept on precept on precept
[00:10:57] of faith, where everyone around him grew with their relationship from him, what they learned from him. And all of the, you know, he was obviously the smartest guy in the room. He knew what was going to be going on, but he made sure teaching us precept upon precept truth, right? Precept upon precept upon precept. They gained faith. Those around him, the apostles, everybody gained faith. They saw the miracles. Everything was to what?
[00:11:28] To make sure that they increased their faith and they increased their integrity, that they stood for him, that they stood for truth. And then what they had to go through in order to do that. And I loved that he took his time to do that and that we got to see that and hear about it and read about it because that's truly what we're in right now. We are in a situation where everything is for our growth, for our learning, for the challenges that we face.
[00:11:57] You can either be the person who censors, or you can be the person who is out there telling the truth. You have a, you have a choice. You can be the person that puts his head in the sand, or you can be the person that proclaims loudly to everybody. Hey, I learned this. You need to know this too. You can be the person that sits at the County Commission meeting or the city council meeting or what have you. And, and, or you can be the person that sits in front of the TV. Your choice.
[00:12:28] But what is it doing for all of us as we're in this fight? Because the fight matters. It matters. The outcome doesn't matter as much as the fight matters right now, as much as what we're doing to save it because of what we learn from that act, from what we're doing, how much we grow right now. Be right back. Kate Daly show.
[00:12:52] I love this song.
[00:13:34] Jamie Johnson. Right. Welcome back.
[00:13:58] You know, it's not popular for a lot of talk shows on the radio live to talk about Christ. And you know what? I don't care. I don't care if it's popular or not. I'm not going to get to the end of my life and, um, and feel like, uh, I had an opportunity to, uh, to voice things about Christ and not be able to, I mean, I don't want that life.
[00:14:23] I don't want the life where I quieted myself for, to, to what, to, to, for the masses. Like, like, why, why would I do that? Welcome back to the show. And, and so here's, here's an, an important truth that I've come across in a, in a very humble way. I tell you, because I am not lecturing. I'm not, I really, I, this is a lesson I've learned and I'm sharing it with you because I think that it's, it's vital.
[00:14:50] A lot of people will jump on and listen and say, okay, but why it's futile? Why do we do anything if it can't have the outcome we want? If it can't save us, if it can't save the country, if it can't save, um, it can't save us. Right. And we know in the back of our minds, especially as Christians, you know how it ends. So how do we remedy all of that? Is it worth it? Is it worth to take time to go to the meeting?
[00:15:18] Is it worth taking time to, you know, protest what's happening to us? A lot of comments yesterday after I did the real ID show and it was like, well, how can we stop it? What can we do? What can we do? And we can't do anything. Then what do we, I mean, and, and working themselves into a frenzy over the fact that you can't stop that. You can be educated in it. You can understand it. You can know what it is. We can, we can get people to understand what we're sanctioning. Um, that's going to help. It's going to help.
[00:15:47] And there will be some little things that we can change along the way. There will be things we could do together. Um, but the, but the end game, the overall end game, if we can't, if we can't do anything about it, why even try? You're going to hear that a lot from people. Why even try? Because it all matters. And it reminds me of people that show up only on Easter, right? You know, those people, right? They show up only on Easter. Why?
[00:16:16] They're usually showing up out of guilt. What happens when you show up the rest of the year too? And then you show up for Easter. Well, instead of guilt, it's more about reverence because you're in, you're in the understanding of knowing why you're there. Okay. So it lends more reverence to the visit, right? On Easter. Then it would just showing up once a year.
[00:16:43] So the act of constantly showing up over the course of that year has now lent itself to a more meaningful Easter instead of maybe more guilt at Easter, right? You understand what I'm saying. So all along the way, all along our lives for us are these little tests are these little times when we get to show who we really are.
[00:17:11] When we get to show what we're made of, when we get to show that truth matters and that you're going to tell the truth and that you're not going to go chase the almighty dollar, that you're probably going to be chasing truth, right? And when you do so, you're better for it. You grow. Your lessons are learned, right? All along the way. Wouldn't you think that's pretty vital?
[00:17:38] I mean, if we're going to build a moral people, I worry more about that than I do the end game of where this all lands because in the back of my mind, I already know. But all along the way, we've got to build up a very moral people that will stand for truth. When presented with making money or standing for truth, standing for the constitution, standing for all those things. Don't you want to be that guy that stands for truth?
[00:18:08] Um, so we have, we have all these experiences, the learning, the understanding, the standing up, and it all leads to what? To a better you, to a better person, to a good person, more like Christ, right? Trying to be like him, right? I would imagine he had no fear. He knew what was coming. He did it anyway. Be right back.
[00:18:38] Kate Daly. This is the Kate Daly show.
[00:19:19] I played this song before on the show and I got a piece of hate mail. It was interesting. I got a piece of hate mail and the hate mail was, I'll never listen to you again because you played that song. And my answer was, and that's okay. Go run like the wind. It's okay. If that song, if this offends you, you got bigger issues going on. I love that song. Uh, welcome back.
[00:19:48] And I will take calls. 888-673-1450. Just trying to share with you what I've learned. And it's not been easy because there were moments where I thought, well, why even do what I'm doing? Because there's just so much theater going on. So much theater. It's like the blue origin times a hundred thousand. Okay. And, and what, how, what do you do when that's the case? You know?
[00:20:16] Um, so, and I realized, and it came to me actually, there was a lot of prayer involved because I was, I was getting really depressed. Actually. I'm telling you this now. This was a couple of years ago. I was getting really depressed and it was really tough. And I just thought, what am I, what am I going to do every day? And, um, and this thought kept coming to me. It's about, it's about what we do with this time. It's about, it's about us growing and learning.
[00:20:44] And these, the, this, this sort of challenge to always stand for truth, right. Is something that we're all going to have a dose of in our lives. Right. And it reminded me honestly of that poem. You guys remember the poem, right? The dash. Okay. By Linda Ellis. It reminded me of that here. Here it is. I read of a man who stood to speak at a funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on her tombstone from beginning to the end.
[00:21:14] He noted that first came the date of her birth and he spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For the dash represents all the time that she spent alive on earth. And now only those who loved her know what that little line is worth. True. And it matters not how much we own the cars, the house, the cash.
[00:21:40] What matters is how we live in love and how we spend our dash. So think about this long and hard. Are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left. That can still be rearranged. If we would just slow down enough to consider what's true and real. And always try to understand the way other people feel.
[00:22:04] And be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we've never loved before. And if we treat each other with respect. And more often wear a smile. Remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So when your eulogy is being read with your life's actions to rehash. Would you be proud of the things they say? About how you spent your dash.
[00:22:35] By Linda Ellis. I love that poem. It says a lot in that poem about the way, the way we conduct ourselves, the way we live our lives. And, you know, I was thinking about like a person that's like a TV owner, right? Like a TV, you know, producer or someone that owns, you know, like a TV media outlet or a politician or all of these people. Right. And you have people that, you know, work for intelligence and, and, and the FBI and cops. And,
[00:23:04] and I mean, you could just keep going and going and going. There's always going to be moments where there's a, there's a moment where they could stand up for the constitution, stand up for truth, stand up and say no and say, no, no, we're not going to step on the constitution. We need to preserve that. And I'm not, I'm not going to chase the dollar. I'm going to chase what's right. And there's always those presentations of those moments, right? And so what are you going to do in those moments?
[00:23:35] What are you going to do? What's the action going to be? Because a lot of pride can get in the way and just a whole lot of venom can get in the way. And of course, you know, if you're trying to please the wrong people, if you're trying to, you know, get ahead, if you're trying to make money and all you can see are the dollar signs, but at the end of your life, it's not even going to matter. The moments that are going to stand out is when you actually stood for something that was right.
[00:24:06] And I see far too many people. They just, they take the other road. And it's so crazy to me because I'm thinking, you know, at some point you're going to go, right? And then I think, you know, was this sacrifice, this, this Easter holiday that we celebrate all for not, if we're not becoming who we need to be as people, if we're not following that lead, that example, and trying to do those right things,
[00:24:36] then the dash is going to be meaningless. You're going to leave this earth. You're not taking anything with you except, except those moments that you stood for something. Did you try? Did you help? Did you show up? Did you do any of that? There are so many people that just don't, they just don't even think about it. It's like autopilot, you know, autopilot for the material world. And no one's thinking like, well, wait a minute.
[00:25:06] What about all those things that we could show up for help assist, pay for do all these things. Help us to become better people. So why are we not doing all those things all the time? And I think it's just, for me, it was a humbling moment because I thought I'm not in this to solve the game. Do I think that this audience is going to change the world that we're going to change and get our country back? Probably not. But I'll tell you what, this audience is full of really,
[00:25:35] and just amazing people that will go to the mat for truth because they care about it that much. And they'll even question themselves. They'll even say, okay, is everything I know true? Is everything I know, you know, where am I at on this? And am I learning the right things? And they, they have a quest, a hunger for truth and for their own liberty. And so this audience is amazing. If anyone could do it, we probably could, right? But will we? Well, if you read scripture, probably not,
[00:26:03] but that's not what we keep the eye. The eye is not on that ball. I can't be the prize because if that's the prize, we're going to be chasing our tails. We're going to get frustrated. We're going to go, ah, I give up. I give up. I give up. Don't give up. Do what you can. Put your name on what you can. Spread truth. When you can tell your kids things when you can, when you can do that, do it right. Cause that's going to, that's going to grow who we are as people. And we're going to be learning from all of that.
[00:26:32] I don't want that sacrifice. Christ's sacrifice for us to be for not. And one of the things that I remember the most, um, in a, in a talk that was given on Easter was if you were the only person on earth, he loves you that much. He would have done it for you. Just you, you're worth it. He made you in his image. You were made in his image, I should say.
[00:27:01] And he'd do it for you. So if we're that special and not in a, everyone gets a trophy way. Okay. Not in the woke way. I mean, you're truly special and unique and we need you. So there can't be that eye on the prize that honestly, I don't know that that could ever happen. And get frustrated and walk away because you're not going to get that particular prize.
[00:27:28] The prize we get is who we are at the end of this and the choices we make and the decisions we make all along the way. Are you going to do the right thing? You're going to stand up for something. And I just hope that we can all look back and be really proud of the things we've, we've said and done so that, so that we've made a contribution. Right. And it's okay. That's enough. Right. Even if we're not able to save it all,
[00:27:56] because it has been just grossly overtaken, that doesn't matter. It doesn't, that's not the most important thing. The most important thing is what we did along the way. And I really believe that. So when I come back, I really will take your calls. I'm done talking. I just, that is my Easter, my very unconventional Easter message, because I don't want us to get frustrated that we walk away. I want us to just continuously be pointing out truth next to the lies.
[00:28:26] And we've been lied to a lot and we need to get through all of that. And we're better for it. When you understand truth, right? You can stand up for it better when you understand when you've been lied to. And government is all about lies. Media is all about lies. So we've got to get through all of that. Right. Be right back on the Kate Daly show.
