[00:00:03] Isn't common sense supposed to be common? The struggle is real, my friends. The Kate Dalley Show starts now. A friend of mine gave me the greatest piece of advice recently, which was something his wife does. Now, we have two boys, right? So we have this experience where they're like, and they're feral, right? Like they're full on out of control, much, much more difficult than our daughter was. And at least three times a day, they do something that just makes you want to like kill them, right?
[00:00:31] And my friend was like, anytime you are getting frustrated with them, just close your eyes and imagine you are 80 years old. And you have a time machine that is bringing you right back to this moment. And this is the only moment you will get with them again when they're young. It's awesome. I mean, it's incredible advice. And it totally changes everything. And you're like, oh, yeah, I'll take this all day long. Ah, good piece of advice, right?
[00:00:59] I mean, not the feral children part. I think you can teach them to behave. But I do appreciate the hang on to all those moments talk because I think there's something to that. And I always like good pieces of advice. If you have a good piece of advice, call in. I'd love to hear it. What kind of advice do you give people, right? And do you feel like do you feel like you can?
[00:01:24] I mean, do you feel like are you are you a person that gives advice? Because a lot of people feel especially politically like they can't anymore, you know, as far as that goes, because everything is just a little confusing right now. But but but also because families have been so divided and so forth.
[00:01:44] But if you have a good piece of advice that you that you actually got yourself or something that you feel like you passed to people, call up. I want to hear from you. I'm always good with good advice. And I always like to hear from all of you, too, because I think that it's it's really fun. The fun part of the show is to hear kind of what's on your mind. Also open phone lines, too. So for sure, you can call up about just about anything today.
[00:02:13] It's Friday. So have at it. It's totally fine. I also I also wanted to say implementing Trump is implementing a 90 day pause in foreign development and assisting assistance pending whether the aid is aligned with American interest in foreign policy.
[00:02:32] I'm glad he's doing a stay of that because of the foreign development assistance, because I feel like it's been so, so, so abused on so many levels. So obviously and something we were never meant to do. But, you know, luckily, Rubio voted against the ninety five million dollar aid package for Ukraine a year ago.
[00:02:58] So maybe we'll see some good shifts for a while there. I do think we'll be ramping up for war during this administration, though. I really do. But for right now, maybe there's a little reprieve from all of that. Let's hope. Right. So there you go. I also just covered a lot about Oracle and you can ask any questions about that as well.
[00:03:26] I know there's a lot more to deep dive on Oracle, but I was trying to keep it more simplified. And really to Ellison's comments that 20 years ago, we have everything on you and our whole sole purpose is data and your data. I mean, you can't get more clear than that. It's coming from Ellison. Hi, caller. Welcome to the show. Go right ahead. I'd like to ask a question that I haven't heard in a long time and I'm probably way beyond the mark.
[00:03:55] But where's Uncle Miltie lately? Oh, he retired. He did? OK. Good for him. I'm curious. I haven't heard him in a long time. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you're fine. You're fine. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He retired. I just wonder if he's doing good is all. I think he is. Yeah, I think he is. So thanks for the call. Really appreciate it. Yeah. Of course. Yeah. He's very missed. And of course, I think he's doing great. He is retired. I know. He was on the show 10 years. Oh, my gosh. 12 years. Something like that. So kind of crazy.
[00:04:26] All right. So let me let me take another caller and hi, caller. Welcome to the show. Go right ahead. Kate, I had no idea. I was so interesting. Oh, yes, you are. You're very interesting. We all are. I mean, why else would you want all that info on us? I'm impressed. Hey, Kate. Yeah. You don't walk under a ladder casually because there's activity up there and something might fall on your head.
[00:04:56] That's superstitious. It's great advice. I love the advice. Are you kidding? Thank you. But that's great. All right. Yeah, I do. I do want to hear advice. I want to hear what you have to say. What would you tell people? Seriously, I want to hear it. Like what great piece of advice do you have? Or what have you been told that that has really rung true to? Hi, caller. Welcome to the show. Go right ahead. Hey, I just wanted to talk a little bit about Oracle. Okay, sure.
[00:05:23] One of the things is most websites on the web use MySQL, which is an Oracle product, to store their data for dynamic storage and retrieval so that their webmasters don't have to work so hard. Now, I know this because I'm studying to be a web developer.
[00:05:49] Anyway, most of the times the server with the database on it is local in-house. Sometimes they do have databases, data banks like that one in Salt Lake where they keep a whole bunch of personal information on just about everybody.
[00:06:14] But really, Oracle is the reason there's only one or two databases that you can use nowadays is because it's so darn dull to program a database. So basically, they have to get autistic people, aka people who can have the godlike powers of focus
[00:06:41] to program these things because otherwise everyone just gets too bored. And so that's why we've only got Microsoft and Oracle. Now, the thing is, what happens with those people who have superhuman focus is they get inculcated
[00:07:06] in some of these global conspiracies and then they get focused in offing the rest of us. Okay, so vaccine injury leads to superhuman focus and then superhuman focus leads to a business
[00:07:25] like a databasing company which facilitates rapid retrieval and storage of data so that web developers don't have to work as hard and then you get these geniuses going bad on us like Lex Luthor because, of course, they're hyper-focused and they think, oh, everyone else happens to be subpar
[00:07:54] so they need to be gotten rid of. Anyway, that's all I wanted to say because it's the hyper-focus that is their downfall eventually because they think, oh, I'm better than everybody else so everyone else needs to leave the earth.
[00:08:14] That's the thing is the elitist mindset that comes from you being better at something else than everybody else. Gotcha. And the hubris needs to stop. They are not any better than you or I. Anyway, your website is probably running on MySQL. Probably. Yeah. So, anyway. Appreciate the call. Thank you. Thank you. All right.
[00:08:44] Okay. So, anyway, I have done a lot of research. I brought to you kind of the highlights of the Oracle research, but there's so much more to absorb. The name Oracle came from a 1977 CIA project. And they were basically put into business by the CIA. So, all CIA money, in-Q-Tel.
[00:09:13] There's all kinds of branches of CIA money. But it's so funny to me how many businesses, funny, sad, how many businesses truly are under the thumb of intelligence that we all use now. And I think a lot of people don't realize it or maybe don't want to. Who knows? But very, very deeply rooted in everything that we do.
[00:09:38] And there's a reason that he's standing on a stage like that with, you know, with government because they're now merging into business in front of everybody instead of just on the back end. Does that make sense? Oh, I hope it does. So, that's kind of what we're looking at there.
[00:09:54] I was also reviewing a person that worked in the White House that was talking about how JFK would, I'm sorry, RFK would be buried by the bureaucrats that are behind health, right? They're going to put him in as the head. But it's the people running the show that are consistently going to say, oh, yeah, we'll do a study on that. And then three years later, nothing happens.
[00:10:20] Or, yeah, we'll get rid of red dye three, not until 2028. And we'll do a headline, though, that says we got rid of it, but not the dye called 40, you know. So, there's going to be a lot of bureaucrats that stop progress that we would like to see. I know there's a lot of that.
[00:10:44] And they kind of go with their own thoughts and feelings on things, and then they make everything very stagnant when somebody wants to do something good. So, I know that we're up against that a lot. And it's a lot of bureaucrats that are in one administration, like ding-a-lings, and then they continue on for the next administration. So, it's not like everything changes hands, which I know you all know.
[00:11:09] So, just kind of an interesting other piece that we're looking at right now of how many people kind of stand in the way of a decision being made or something being made. And then you have a lot of these companies that thrive off of being part of the club. And the caller was right when he said that they just look at us as little people.
[00:11:33] When Ellison bought an island in Hawaii, bought 98% of it, Lanai, he calls them his little children, like grown citizens. Like he has to go visit his little children. Yeah. Anybody else see a problem with that? I have a problem with that. But, wow. They are, these elites are mucho elite.
[00:12:02] And there is, you know, they're not going to be stopped. They're only going to have the progress that they want. So, we, the people, had better understand what we're up against. And if we are furthering data and doing more data centers and doing all of this, then you can bet your bottom dollar digital currency, digital tyranny, I should say. Because it's the tyranny of everything digital. And no anonymity that that is coming. So, just food for thought.
[00:12:32] Food for thought. Can you believe he calls them his little children? Anyway, got a good piece of advice? Did you ever get a good piece of advice? I want to hear it. And, of course, open phone lines. You can call me about anything if you want. Be right back. Kate Daly Show. KateDalyRadio.com
[00:13:00] All Family Pharmacy is finally a pharmacy that, after 14 years of doing this on the air, I can actually stand by and go, hey, this is a great family-run pharmacy with doctors in-house. [00:14:28] And then in the drop-down menu when it says, how did you hear about this? Put KATE DALLEY. Okay? There's one of your options right there. But put KATE10 as the code. And you'll get a nice little discount too. And it'll help the show. Help me stay on the air. Allfamilypharma.com. Go there now. This is the Kate Daly Show.
[00:14:54] You know there's a light that glows by the front door. Don't forget the keys under the man. Childhood stars shine. Always stay humble and kind. All right. Welcome back, Kate Daly Show. And so glad to be with you. Of course, on a Friday, I'm looking forward to the weekend for sure. I do have a caller on hold. So we'll take a caller first. Hi, caller. Welcome to the show. Go right ahead.
[00:15:25] Hi. Hi. Go right ahead. You're live. I would have asked for some good advice. Yes. I like the advice from the movie The Last Stand, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Okay. You must be the change you wish to see in the world. I love that. Yeah. I love it. But I am concerned.
[00:15:49] We have lots of commercials about being prepared, you know, and then Russia's over there building bomb shelters for their people. So I feel like we're kind of a people that is in the movie The Last Stand and we're going to have to hold our own. Yeah. Yeah. I hope we don't relax.
[00:16:16] I hope we are always kind of ready for whatever comes because I feel like there's going to be some surprises. Do you feel like we're ready as a nation? No, I don't. Yeah. I don't. I think a very small percentage is. But I, yeah, I don't. I, yeah, that's my honest answer. I know. And that sucks on a Friday. No one wants to hear that. But it's the truth.
[00:16:45] So, yeah, I sure appreciate the call, though. Thank you. Yeah, I'm with you. I like the advice, too. Thank you. Yeah. I don't think we're prepared at all. Hi, caller. Welcome to the show. Go right ahead. Kate, happy Friday. Happy Friday. What's on your mind? Kate, I wanted to see what you think about Barron Trump. You know, there was those rumors going around that he was, you know, maybe autistic.
[00:17:11] And I don't know, the way he acted at this inauguration, you know, when Trump, like, brings attention to him and he puts his hand up to his ear, like, you know, give it to me, you know, like, let me hear you. Yeah. I was like, for a young man like that, I don't know, I'm thinking maybe he has an earpiece in him or he's, like, really trained to do that. I don't know. I don't know. So egotistical. I'm like, I don't know, rub me the wrong way.
[00:17:39] Well, I'm sure that he probably hears a lot more of what's going on behind the scenes and the dirty games being played and all the junk. And so I wouldn't, it wouldn't surprise me that, you know, that he was, you know, obviously had that, that those, those feelings against these people, because he's probably hearing a lot more than you and I would on the backstories of stuff.
[00:18:04] But, you know, he's a kid and I know I've heard that, I've heard that before that he might be a little, the old term was Asperger's. I don't know what the new term is. I always forget what the new term is, but, and that could be, you know, that could be. I know, I, I remember Dr. Batar telling me that before, before he died, that he had met with the Trump family and they were concerned about all these vaccines. So it was really weird when Operation Warp Speed came because he had been meeting with them
[00:18:33] and, and they had great conversations and were very aware of vaccine damage and, and so forth. So yeah, very, very strange, but who knows? Who do you think is going to succeed Trump? Because, you know, it seems like they have longer term plans and we don't want this stuff to, you know, the good things that happen to get wiped out. Probably J.D. Vance. Who do you think's lined up? Probably J.D. Vance. Okay. Yeah. That's what I think anyway. Yeah. Yeah. Thanks for the call.
[00:19:00] I know it could be someone in the family, like, you know, with that Trump name that just kind of carries clout now. I don't, I don't know. I don't know. Yeah. I would think J.D. I think that's why they picked him, but to, you know, just kind of set him up for that position. But thanks for the call. I really appreciate it. Yeah. You can call about anything. Of course, 888-673-1450 and great advice that you get.
[00:19:23] And, and I'm always loving that because there's a lot of, I think that, you know, yeah, we need to be better people, good people in the whole nine yards and always be working on ourselves, always be very alert, always be curious. My, my biggest thing is probably to stay curious because there's not enough curiosity. We're not asking enough really good questions. We're not looking at right. What's like right in front of our face.
[00:19:51] And I can only come, I try to come to logical conclusions on the show and it's hard. It's not easy for sure. Um, because there's, there's so much garbage and noise and everything else. But I know that you probably have these gut feelings about things. And, uh, and I think that we need to strengthen that and follow that actually. Um, I think it's a God thing. You could think differently. That's okay. I'll take your calls right when I come back. 888-673-1450.
[00:20:20] Listen to that little voice, right? Um, be right back on the Kate Daly show. You've heard me talking about olive oil and I've told you about Atlas olive oil from Morocco, right? Morocco has some of the best olive oil because the trees, because of the water conditions there, they actually create more polyphenols, uh, which is so healthy for you. So great for you.
[00:20:50] And then we need them to fight these free radicals, to fight all of the junk in our system. And also it helps you with so many different things in preventing cancer and inflammation and skin and hair and nails and digestive system. Um, things go a lot smoother. If you know what I mean with, um, with this olive oil, you take a tablespoon in the morning, tablespoon at night or a couple, whatever your situation is, but go to this website.
[00:21:16] This is, uh, Atlas olive oils with an S dot us Atlas olive oils dot us. Okay. And you can order their kind of day to day olive oil. It's got twice as many polyphenols as your store brand. Your store brands have like 200 ish, two to 300 ish. This has five to 600 ish. Okay. Then you can also order their olive brand.
[00:21:39] It's called olivey, like olive with an I E olive health dot us olive health dot us. This is their packed polyphenol version with 1200 polyphenols, um, in a bottle, which is amazing. And if you've heard about Gundry oil, right, he sells it for double the cost. I got you a direct link to the manufacturer at Atlas for you to get 15% off when it's already half off because you're going right to the manufacturer.
[00:22:08] You can use this to cook with you. Use this as a something to take every day. Amazing stuff. Go to Atlas olive oils dot us or olive health dot us order up with the code Kate 15 and enjoy the extra 15% off. You get off. You're going to love this oil. You're going to be so healthy. This is the Kate Daly show.
[00:23:10] Welcome back. Hey, Daly show. I'll take your calls. 888-673-1450. 888-673-1450. You'll love them and, uh, they're great.
[00:23:40] So I have, I have just such good things to say about them and they have customer service for you. So, um, if you're getting a lot of calls from a family member about their computer or computer problems, this is a great thing to do for them. So highly, highly, uh, would appreciate you going to I defend home.com and signing up. And then of course, all family pharma.com. The code is Kate 10 on I defend home. It's Kate. Um, but, uh, oh my gosh, so many great sponsors go to Kate Daly radio.com on the homepage and
[00:24:09] then scroll down and you'll find that. Hi caller. Welcome to the show. Go right ahead. Yeah. Hi Kate. Hi. This is Dana. Hi Dana. I, um, I just, the thing that wigs me out is that they're always 10 or 20 years ahead of what they show us. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And so when I, when I take in my mind, when I take the AI and I cross it with what they're doing in robotics, you know, it really is a, um, it's very, just, it, it's extremely disconcerting.
[00:24:40] Sure. And so, um, and I, I don't know where we're headed, but I think we're, we're way, we're far behind. And I, I think that the general population isn't up to confronting what's happening. Okay. Okay. Great thought. I like it. Thank you. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Thank you. You too. I want to tell you, I love the music you play on your show. Thank you. That's so sweet. Thank you so much. I love that. Uh, thank you.
[00:25:09] Uh, yeah, I, I love music, so I'm all on board, right? Um, I mean, I absolutely love music. I, I played guitar for years. I mean, most of my life. And so I know every 70s song. So every 60s, um, I, I have a huge, uh, library of music that is very weird. According to my husband, it's, it's really weird. I enjoyed my collection of songs because I just like so many different kinds of music.
[00:25:37] As you can tell on the show, I use a lot of, uh, uh, different, different, uh, genres and stuff. So thanks. I appreciate that. Um, yeah, I've been thinking, I just been thinking about advice lately because I've been thinking about little things that, um, that you would pass down, you know, open the door and do all of those types of things. Um, and it just, uh, kind of stuck with me through the day today as far as, um, just
[00:26:03] I remember teaching my kids, we'd take Monday nights, family night, and we would teach them how to shake hands and how to give a speech and how to, how to look somebody in the eye and shake a hand. So it's not a fish, you know, style, a fishy little style handshake and all those kinds of things. And I hope people are doing that. I, I've, I've watched kids walk home from school and it looked like they were wearing their pajamas at school. And I'm like, Ooh, I think, I hope things aren't going, uh, you know, so downhill that I
[00:26:31] would be a little perplexed walking into a campus these days. But yeah, people are saying that, that it's just, it's just manners and that kind of stuff are kind of going out the window. And if I was going to give any advice, I'd say teach manners. Hi caller. Welcome to the show. Go right ahead. Greetings, Kate. I just wanted to take, Hey, I just wanted to share a tip. Okay. You know, a thing that was shared with me a long time ago when I was just 17 years old and had a mechanical problem with my car that I wasn't sure how to fix.
[00:27:00] And I ended up paying some hard earned money to a mechanic. And, uh, after the clutch was replaced, he said, let me share some information with you. He said, it's an old saying, love many, trust few, learn to paddle your own canoe. That's so true. I love it. It's simple, but you realize if you love many, you stop and you help people when people are
[00:27:25] in need and you're kind, uh, trust few means that you, you think critically, you're, you're skeptical so that you don't get taken advantage of and you take the time to learn how to do things for yourself. And there's so many people I see nowadays that are my age that I can count on one hand, the number of people that can do things. Yeah, that's true. Skills. Yeah, you're right. You're right. I love it. Thank you. I love that.
[00:27:55] Skills are going out the window. I mean, I, it's, it's tough. It's tough to watch. People will sit and watch reels, but they won't go learn how to do something. Uh, let me play this for you. I thought this was a 12 pieces of advice. Here we go. 12 things you need to understand. One, when you're winning, keep your mouth shut. That's a good one. Two, don't tell people your plans. Wait till the results speak for themselves. Three, never expect to get what you give.
[00:28:24] Five, not everyone has a heart of flesh. Four, every day you wake up, you have a new job to be better than yesterday. Five, you will never get what you want until you are grateful for what you have. Six, sometimes what you're trying to hold on to is exactly what you should let go of. Seven, if you want to buy things without looking at the price, work without looking at the clock.
[00:28:50] Eight, God puts people in your life for a reason and removes them from your life for a better reason. Nine, the devil wouldn't be attacking you so hard if there wasn't something valuable in you. Thieves don't break into empty houses. Seven, you're going to set a lot of people off when you start doing what's best for you. Eleven, you will lose a lot of friends when you get really serious about your life goals.
[00:29:21] Life does not get easier. You just get stronger. If you're not following, you're probably never going to see us again. But if you are, congrats. You're on a journey of continuous growth. Sounds a little new agey when I'm listening to it. But I'll tell you what, there's some truths in there. Some things I did, I'm like, yeah. But there were some truths in there and some good things to grasp, I'm sure.
[00:29:48] You know, my biggest thing is be you. I see an awful lot of people in media, because I'm in the world of media, that will only talk certain points because they're watching everyone else say certain things and they all rely on each other to get the same info. And so, so much of it sounds alike. And I don't like that. I like to dive in and tell you what's on my mind or critique or whatever.
[00:30:13] And so, just, you know, forge your own path and just have the courage to do that. Because it's not like I have so much courage. It's just that it's in this day and age in media, it's harder to do anything in media with a career where you tell the truth.
[00:30:34] But I would recommend that everybody keep telling the truth, no matter if you lose friends on Facebook, no matter if people just, you know, just cannot wrap their brains, you know, around certain truths. Just keep saying them. Just keep doing it. I think we all have a role. And he was right about kind of Satan going after people. You know, if you didn't have anything valuable, right, you know, you probably wouldn't get that very much. And I'm sure some of us are tried more than others.
[00:31:04] And some of us are going through some heck of a heck of a things lately. And if that's you, you know, my heart's with you. You can get through this. And I think people need to need to really hear that. Work through things. There's it always ends up being better. You know, when Melissa's husband, co-host Melissa's lost his job, the first thing I said to her was, oh, they're opening a window. Like, go with it because you're opening a window.
[00:31:33] Don't don't get mired into the, you know, shock. And oh, my gosh, everything's terrible. I'm like, hey, usually, you know, when God wants to do what God wants to do with you, it's going to look bad. But then it ends up being great. And it did. It did. It even involved a little bump in pace. So that was cool and much better situation for him. So I really firmly believe in that. I really do. And and just being true to yourself.
[00:32:03] But if you have a good piece of advice, I do want to hear it. I'll open the phone lines in this last segment of the show coming up. So I want to hear it. What would you tell somebody? What are you noticing out there? What do you want the youth to know? Right. All right. Be right back. Kate Daly Show.
[00:32:20] This is the Kate Daly Show.
[00:33:07] Winning streak. All right. Welcome back. Kate Daly Show. I'll take your calls. Eight, eight, eight, six, seven, three, 1450. What's on your mind on this Friday? And look, it's inauguration week. Right. The end of that. And a lot of things to be said, by the way, in just wanted to say for all of you freezing down in the and all over America.
[00:33:33] If you're freezing, Al Gore said winters would be a thing of the past in 1993. Winters would be a thing of the past in the late 2000s. 2000s. Okay. Just want to leave. I just wanted to say that to you. Hmm. Yeah. Anyway, I'll take your advice. You know, I've always got a lot of advice, I'm sure.
[00:33:56] And, you know, one is spend as much time as you can with your kids and get minerals. Get minerals. I am serious. We're so depleted. So I'm always talking health with people because of all the shows we've done, all the doctors I've met, all the people I've met over the course of the last four years has certainly ramped up on that. And you should be taking in a lot more minerals to kind of make your immune system stronger.
[00:34:27] And and yes, there are a lot of things I would I would say to the youth now, you know, don't wear your pajamas out. Can we use that? Can we do that one for starters, please? Don't wear your pajamas everywhere you go. No one will take you seriously. And and also college is not necessary. It is not necessary unless it's absolutely needed for for for for something that you that you're doing that absolutely requires you to do that.
[00:34:56] And that's that's the diehard mission you have in life. Great. But there's just so many other things to do. And the propensity for coming out a woke student at the end of your college at your college experience is pretty high now. So I would I would definitely go to a trade school or start a business or do something beyond and not with college. I do not think it's the end all be all.
[00:35:24] They they teach the kids that but I do not think so. And and I also I also would say that, you know, pieces of advice as far as the youth read more. Don't be online as much read more because and write more because when you write, it actually helps you understand your thinking capabilities better and you think through something
[00:35:53] more when you have to write it out than than when you are just even talking when you're writing. There's something really cool that goes on there. Jordan Peterson talks about that a lot. He's like, write, write, write, because it really helps you to to think to think about everything that you're writing in your mind and actually use that opportunity to change
[00:36:20] it, resolve it, think more about it and come to better conclusions when you write. So writing is a big deal. And so is reading. We don't read anymore. We watch reels for like two minutes and but we don't do a whole lot of reading. And I would say, man, there are so many, so many wonderful books. And also don't throw your books out. Do not throw your books out because, you know, books digitally can be changed. And I would say keep a hold of all those old books, especially.
[00:36:49] I think that's so important. A hundred percent important. Also, buy spray and wash. I've said this on the show since I started. You know, if you're buying spray and wash to get the and I just use them as an example, but spray and wash. If you're if you're doing that for your kids clothing, you're doing good. That means they're outside. That means they're playing. So the more spray and wash, the better to get those stains out of their clothes. If they don't have any stains in their clothes, something's wrong.
[00:37:18] So you need to get them outside playing. We used to. Don't you guys remember when we were young? We used to just go out all day and play. Right. They don't do that anymore. It's always it boggles my mind because I can't imagine that. That that we're in a place where everything you're afraid to go outside or you have to have a play date in order to go play and also be bored. Our kids are never bored.
[00:37:46] They're watching screens in the car. They're watching screens on vacation. They're they're constantly on these screens. And it's OK to be bored. And it's OK to look out a window when you're driving. You don't have to entertain them. And sometimes I think it's better because as you're talking, they'll absorb more of your conversation with your spouse or what have you. And I think it's really good for them. But, man, I watch so many kids where it's always in their face like it's never not in their face.
[00:38:14] Some form of iPad or phone with some sort of show or cartoon or and the TV is basically raising our kids. And so I've said that on the beginning of the show, too, is is get them outside, get them playing and get them off the screens as much as you possibly can. You know why they're the movies and TV today. Number one, they make men look stupid. Fathers look dumb. And I hate that. It's the wrong message.
[00:38:43] And they make it and they make parents look dumb. And and they are also filled to the brim with LGBTQ messaging and trans messaging and all kinds of messaging gobbledygook that the kids are getting at school, by the way, all the time still. And we've got to stop that. Like we have to just do so much more. I know the focus has been on federal government this week because of the inauguration.
[00:39:10] But really and truly, we have a lot of work to do, I think, just as people, just as people doing things a little bit better and making sure that we're not falling into a lot of traps and a lot of things that we shouldn't be doing. And I think, you know, in this day and age, it's easy to feel like you just want to break and get lazy and just, you know, stick them in front of a screen to do that. But, man, we can't do that. I just like the worst thing that we could do at this point. And I know it's hard out there.
[00:39:39] And for all you moms and dads out there still raising kids, you know, that ship sailed for me. But as far as raising kids go, I know it's difficult. And I know that it's really I mean, you're in a you're in a hard place. But those kids, they've got to learn integrity, character and hard work. And it's tough to do. It is so hard.
[00:40:00] I know I've been there, but we've just got to do it because we've got to raise stronger kids, kids that believe in God, kids that will stand up for what they believe in and kids that understand. Right. When they're when they're told a lot of junk, we've got to be able to raise stronger kids and grandkids. So important. It's huge. It is huge. And I think it's the one thing that we can really concentrate on right now.
[00:40:30] And the federal government is the federal government. But it's not going to impact your life as much as you think it is. Right. Every little thing that they do. So I think it's just really good to get clarity and focus on your family, focus on raising kids and grandkids and having them come out pretty good individuals. All right, you guys, be faithful, be fearless out there. And I'll see you next week. Got a lot of guests next week. So earing up for that.
[00:40:59] And I'll see you next week. KateDallyRadio.com.
