011325 SHORT 8 MIN How Cities CHange The Rules by Kate Dalley

[00:00:05] This is the Kate Dalley Show. There, welcome back. Kate Dalley Show. So much to say on this subject because I know you want to save your local cities and counties and you don't want to see them, what's happening in California be able to happen.

[00:00:29] You don't want them so bought, so on the take that they are able to set up a situation where they can burn homes down to the ground, right? Right? Look at all the policies. Look at all the woke stuff that just happened. Look at all of this that we're looking at. And everyone's critiquing California, but people don't look at their own individual cities and counties and say, oh my gosh, the people you have at the helm, I wouldn't put it past them to do the same types of things to you because of what they're getting out of the deal.

[00:00:59] They're getting either a career, because there's all kinds of politicians. There's the ones that are sort of, they don't know a lot. They're kind of ignorant. Ignorance is bliss. They're like a golden retriever, you know? You know, just want to be patted on the head. And then you've got ones that have an agenda that are there for a reason. And you've got a lot of different types of politicians that you're dealing with.

[00:01:24] And they like to stay in power, so they make sure that you think that they have to stay in power or your city will fall apart. The reason your city's falling apart is because they're in power. Good grief. And I'll give you an example of how things have changed and why. The why is the most important part. But take your volunteer fire departments. It always used to be volunteer. And at the start of our country, it was a volunteer fire department.

[00:01:48] And what happened was that when Lincoln was in, about that time, they started to use this as an excuse. Well, these guys are meeting in these bars and they're meeting at these rowdy places. And we don't really like that because we think they're rowdy. And we don't like what they are, what they're doing. And we don't like that they're in these establishments and they're undesirable. So we need to have a paid force.

[00:02:17] We need to pay our guys full time. And we have to tax more to do that. And so we're going to do that. So taxation was used for equipment and then they extended it to the firemen being paid. And retirement, you know, came along and paid vacations and all the rest. And it became this job. And this happened under Lincoln. But on the excuse, on the lie that they couldn't change that, have them meet somewhere different, whatever.

[00:02:47] But they came out and they said they were too rowdy and they were meeting at bars. And therefore, they were becoming undesirable people. So we have to hire people that will uphold what we want them to uphold in the community. And we don't want that. They could have changed it without creating paid positions. But they did it anyway. Okay. This is how most of government is started. It's always usually on something very simple, a lie.

[00:03:14] And then, of course, something new is created, a new job title, a new place to go spend your money. And then way more money is taken in than what they should be getting. And then they find uses for it. And then they started going into the budgets that were, well, we have to maintain this budget. So we need to keep spending what we're getting and more so we can get more money. And we don't want a reduced budget.

[00:03:39] So when we're electing people into these positions, they're not trying to change anything. They're not trying to reduce government in any way. They're only expanding it. They're only coming up with new ways to expand it. And then selling us on the ideas by saying that it's necessary, that we need this, right? Smart cities are really at the helm. They're about three things. Number one, a control. Number two, it's about not being very mobile, okay?

[00:04:09] Having to walk everywhere, ride a bike. And they want everything in the vicinity so that you think that it's super fun and chic to be able to live in a place that you don't have to go get in one of those nasty cars, right? So they sell it to you as this idea. They have no business taking your tax dollars to implement this theory, this weird control theory of a smart city on you. But they sell it to you, and that's why they call it smart. They don't call it, you know, dumb city because if we liked them, we'd be called dumb for wanting

[00:04:39] to live in one. But they call it smart city to try to convince you that this is where you want to be because it's so cool. Well, and it's also about control. Eventually, it will be about the idea that if you want to leave the parameters, you have to have permission. That's what the idea is. It's so smart that it's going to tell you that you want to be there and you're going to consider yourself smart for living there and look at me, look at all my technology, and all I have

[00:05:06] to do is ride a bike and I can get anywhere I want and I don't have to have a car. And then all of a sudden, you realize that this is about control. And so they're also going to cry drought. It's about conservation because they have to convince you that we're in a drought situation all the time and that we can't come out of it. A really good movie to watch is the movie Mully. Okay, go watch the movie Mully. That's your homework tonight. Make sure you see that movie.

[00:05:33] I've talked about it on my show before, but it showcases when you ask God where the water is, turns out the water is under our feet and there's plenty of it. Do you think God would put us on earth without enough water so government could control us? I don't think so. And so they're selling you on drought. They're selling you on conservation is the only way out of a drought. And I hear a lot of really incompetent people say, oh, we must conserve.

[00:06:02] It's the only way. No, it's not. It's not the only way. They filled Lake Elsinore in California. They filled it up through the ground and they don't ever like to talk about that. But I'm telling you that those lies bring about the smart city so that everyone has to live under conservation, right? That's what they're trying to sell the people. No, we want our freedom. We want our freedom from our city and county governments.

[00:06:29] We want our freedom to exist and have the life we want without the control aspect that they're trying to sell us by naming it said smart city. So, look, there are so many things that we can do. There are so many ways. And I love the caller's approach. You know, cities became metropolitan cities to get money directly from the feds. My city did that. And the mayors that I meet are extremely woke.

[00:06:57] And it's really hard because they want to hide as conservatives, but they're not. They are woke, liberal with an agenda. Or they are just not super bright enough to see what they're doing on the big picture level. And so, of course, people with an agenda at the state side, at the state part of government, love people like that.

[00:07:23] And you have a lot of those people running your cities and making decisions in your county and city level. So, when we look at California and we critique it, man, just look right where you are. And I'm sure that you're contending with a lot of woke agendas going on right underfoot. And you probably don't even know it. Probably don't even know it. Probably don't even realize how much has been done in the name of progression. And it's so true.

[00:07:49] Whenever they want people to come with businesses or new housing structures to be built, and they want to tout the growth because it brings in new budget, they'll never talk about conservation and drought. But they'll go to a citizen that's living there already and say, you need to conserve. We're in a drought. It's a lie. It is a straight-up lie. Primarywater.org is a great resource to go to to learn more about water underfoot

[00:08:14] and how the governments have controlled it and how they refuse to go underground. They refuse. They won't even talk about it. It's insanity. All right, you guys. Be faithful. Be fearless. See you tomorrow. I've got a guest tomorrow. Mel Madison joins me on Thursday with Chrisanne Hall. But tomorrow's guest, you'll want to hear from her. Well, I'll see you tomorrow. Not be right back. I'll see you tomorrow. KateDallyRadio.com.
