3575 – February 7, 2025 – You Can’t HANDLE the TRUTH! – The BIGGER Question…. CAN AMERICANS HANDLE THE TRUTH… AND WILL WE STAND WITH THE IDEA TO GO FORWARD WITH REMOVING CORRUPTION?

The First Amendment says this: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The very FIRST words to understand is Congress shall make no… This is NOT a statement restricting Americans…… it is a statement restricting CONGRESS!

FREEDOM OF THE PRESS: It is the freedom to write the news, even if it is unpleasant to “government” – it is NOT the freedom to speak LIES and promote false propaganda … it is not the FREEDOM… to scream FIRE in a crowded room… Threatening another individual with bodily harm… IS NOT FREE SPEECH.

Why is perjury a crime? Because it is a lie… and hide evidence leading to TRUTH. Our media has been practicing perjury against the American people… hiding the truth… AS have many politicians… but today the largest offenders are the Democrats… BUT we will find TRUTH of others as well.

Peaceably to assemble……. The majority of the J6 crows was peaceful… they had no weapons… they were not fighting fires…they did not get “riled up” until they were provoked… the FBI plants and the capitol police… started the riot… unfortunately too many peaceful people Reacted! BUT then who wouldn’t?

When we have congressional members seriously calling for violence against a sitting president… THAT IS NOT FREE SPEECH!

[00:00:01] Hey, where are you going? I gotta get home. America, it's time to come home. It's time to come home! By bringing common sense back into the nonsense. Welcome to Common Sense Coalition Talk Radio, where America comes home.

[00:00:21] Down this dirt road, you're going to find determination and grit, opinions that matter, and a big ol' helping of good discernment. And now, the woman that wishes the D.C. occupiers would stop making her use her mom voice. Do not make me come down there. Here's your host, and the voice of common sense, Beth Ann. And I welcome you today to CSC Talk Radio. It's my honor, my privilege, and my pleasure to be here with you today. We're going to go straight to the Lord in prayer.

[00:00:49] I've got a lot of things I want to talk to you about today, and Daniel's going to be coming on in the second segment, and that's always a lot of fun. So, I know I'm going to run out of time, but let's go to the Lord in prayer. And we won't try to rush it, just to get to the news, because He's more important than the news. For such a time as this, O most gracious Heavenly Father, may we realize putting You first in our lives is what we need to do.

[00:01:18] Every single day. Thank You, Father, for Your love. Thank You for Your grace and Your mercy. Thank You for providing a way, salvation, through the blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son.

[00:01:40] Help us, Your children, Father, to go forth in all our things that we do, our time of play, our housework, our jobs, whatever it is we're going through, vacations. May we go forth in love. May we be an honest people, not a people who compromise.

[00:02:05] May we seek to be righteous, not to flaunt it, but to have peace within our own hearts, a peace that only You can give. For righteousness cannot be flaunted, or it's not righteous. Father, I pray for Your protection over this nation. I'm particularly concerned, Father, about the Super Bowl on Sunday.

[00:02:34] May all be safe and peaceful. I'm not going to pray for the winner. But I pray that none of them get hurt that are out there on that field. It is a rough game. And, Father, I pray that You will continue to have Your hedge of protection around President Donald J. Trump, his family, and all those who are working with him,

[00:03:02] especially the man that is standing in front of the Department of Education right now. I pray for his protection, his patience as he stands there. I know he's trained, but I pray for him. And, Father, I do pray for those who are losing their jobs right now. They've had it pretty easy. And it's going to be tough. So I do lift them up, Father, to You, that You will provide an opportunity for them,

[00:03:31] and that they will see and understand that this opportunity came from You and that losing this job could have been the best thing that happened to them in their lives. We've all been there. So, Father, I pray Your blessing on today's show and on Daniel as he calls in here in just a little bit. He is a busy man and a farmer. It just thrills my soul.

[00:04:01] He wasn't a farmer when I met him, but he is now. For such a time as this, Father, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. So I titled the show. I gave Rudy the teaser that he likes to put out. You can't handle the truth. And they can't handle the truth. They can't handle the truth being exposed.

[00:04:30] But the bigger question, can't Americans handle the truth? And will we stand with the idea to go forward with removing the corruption? I wanted to take a little minute here to look at the First Amendment. I know all of you have read it. I know you know what it is. But let's break it down because there's some people in Congress. I don't think know what it means.

[00:04:54] Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. The very first words to understand is Congress shall not, shall know, shall make no law.

[00:05:24] That is not a statement restricting Americans. No, no, no, no, no. Now, of course, I know that congressional members are Americans. But I'm talking about us out here. It's a statement restricting Congress. So they're out there all upset over what Trump did yesterday, saying that he broke the Constitution with the separation of church and state. Well, this is the separation of church and state.

[00:05:54] Congress stays out of it. And they haven't stayed out of it. They have been attacking Christians and attacking churches, and they have not allowed the free exercise thereof. The free exercise thereof. Let's move on. Freedom of the press is mentioned there. It is freedom to write the news, the news, the facts, even if it is unpleasant to the government.

[00:06:22] It is not the freedom to speak lies and promote false propaganda. It is not the freedom to scream fire in a crowded room or theater or threaten another individual with bodily harm. That is not free speech. Why is perjury a crime? Because it is a lie, and it hides evidence leading to truth.

[00:06:47] Our media has been practicing perjury against the American people, hiding the truth. Apparently, they've been getting paid, as have many of the politicians. But today, the largest offenders are the Democrats. But we will still find, oh yes, we will, truth of others as well. Peaceably to assemble.

[00:07:14] The majority of the January 6th crowd was peaceful. They had no weapons. They were not starting fires. They did not get riled up until they were provoked. The FBI or other plants and the Capitol Police started the riot. Unfortunately, too many peaceful people reacted.

[00:07:44] But then wouldn't you? I mean, they threw, they shot tear gas into a peaceful crowd. Watch the videos. They were standing there peacefully. Some had children in baby carriages. They were just standing there. It was their right under the First Amendment to be there in front of the Capitol, the People's House. It's not a temple of democracy, Pelosi. It is the People's House.

[00:08:09] When we have congressional members seriously calling for violence against a sitting president, that is not free speech. You see, they can't handle the truth as their dastardly deeds. I used it first, but, you know, what's-his-face was using it, you know, against Trump. And theft are being revealed to all Americans. They don't want transparency.

[00:08:38] Can we, America, stand fast, hold the chain of liberty? Don't you like that? I used to love Red Rover, Red Rover, send so-and-so right over. And you hold the chain. Can we hold the chain of liberty and not allow these transgressions to continue? We might feel a few bumps, some hits financially and perhaps the cost of goods for a while. Grant subsidies might be a little less or removed completely.

[00:09:09] However, if government truly gets smaller and we endure this bump in the road, if government gets smaller and there are less bureaucrats, Americans will soon feel their freedom returning. I think that's what we feel now with Trump up there. Remember, when once a republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils,

[00:09:35] but by removing the corruption, removing the corruption and restoring the lost precedence. Every other connection, every other correction is either useless or a brand new evil. Thomas Jefferson. You're listening to CSE Talk Radio. This is Beth Ann. We'll be right back.

[00:10:04] Hear ye, hear ye. Read all about it. The American Crisis Continues. In her new book, The American Crisis Continues, Beth Ann elaborates on the crises America faces today. Invasion at the border, insurrections, lawlessness, climate change, and the cry for democracy. These are the times that try men's souls. Thomas Paine's words continue to speak to Americans today. We the people once again find ourselves under tyranny.

[00:10:33] In The American Crisis Continues, you'll glean wisdom from our founding fathers and an understanding why belief in Creator God is the foundation of this nation. Liberty is always in the hands of the people, but first, it must be a longing and a lust within their hearts. The American Crisis Continues is a must read. [00:11:04] Scripture warns us that there will be a day of judgment for our lives. Our works will be exposed by fire, which will reveal the foundation of our building. Figuratively speaking, have we been building with wood, hay, and stubble, which are perishable? Or have we been using gold, silver, and precious stones, which are permanent? In this life, there will be a day of judgment for our failing economic system. When the economy collapses, will your assets be in paper, which will burn? Or will you have a permanent foundation of gold and silver securing your assets?

[00:11:33] Fiat dollars are IOUs from the government, but gold and silver are the tangible assets that protect your wealth. Owning gold and silver is the permanent solution to a permanent problem in our economy, fiat dollars and debt. Call Melody Sederstrom at Discount Gold and Silver Trading, 1-800-375-4188. That's 1-800-375-4188. Give your wealth a solid foundation with gold and silver.

[00:12:04] Did you hear that? That's the sound of energy, and America has plenty. Power the Future is dedicated to those who power the future for all Americans. It is their hard work, sweat, and determination that keeps the lights on in all American homes. Their livelihoods are under attack by radical environmental groups. Power the Future is advocating for their jobs and American energy. Daniel Turner is the founder and executive director of Power the Future.

[00:12:29] Daniel is an expert in energy and environmental issues as they pertain to jobs, rural communities, the U.S. economy, international affairs, and our national security. If the radical environmentalists have their way, our natural resources will be less available and less affordable. Power the Future is a sponsor of CSE Talk Radio. [00:13:06] And we have returned. You're listening to CSE Talk Radio. This is Beth, and it has been a crazy, what, 17, 18 days? And we're all relishing it. But the left ain't handling it so well. But we have Daniel here. He's doing fine. Aren't you, Daniel? I am, Beth, and it's great to be on your program. And happy Friday to you and your wonderful listeners. I don't know if you saw TV or anything on the computer this morning. Rudy brought it up to my desk to show me.

[00:13:35] Look at this thing. And it's one man standing in front of the Department of Education, which has been closed, and a bunch of congressional people trying to get in. And he's just standing there. He's just standing there. I'm going, I don't know how much that man's getting paid, but he didn't enough. No, no, no, no. Oh, my gosh. They were, it's true showing this, and it's fun to watch. Yeah. Maxine was in his face, too. I don't know. It was, it's, they're losing it. They're losing, period.

[00:14:06] They are. And, well, they're losing it in terms of they're losing their mind, but they're also losing their funding and their slush funds. And, I mean, for the years we've been talking and coming on your show, and we've talked a lot about these slush fund appropriation bills. There's a reason why they're 4,200 pages, and they take a year to put together, and they cost $1.5 trillion.

[00:14:30] And the reason why is because they hide so much fake appropriation into it. And I did a long thread on Twitter earlier this morning for those people who haven't, who have been fortunate enough to never have to deal in the swamp and don't really understand what Elon is doing. And just in the simplest terms, no member of Congress is so stupid as to ask for an appropriation for transgender puppet shows in Mexico.

[00:14:57] Even the dumbest congressperson, and there are lots of very dumb congressmen. Oh, yes. But even the dumbest congressman knows, I can't author a piece of legislation for a transgender puppet show in Mexico. So what they do is they appropriate $50 million for spreading democracy in South America. And then that gets voted on. And they say, okay, $50 million. And then they give that money to USAID.

[00:15:24] And a whole bunch of little bureaucrats there say, well, I got $50 million. Now what do I do with it? Oh, my friend Beth Ann wants to do a transgender puppet show in Mexico. Sure, let me give her the money. Or things like that. Or maybe, you know, maybe you never even went to a transgender puppet show in Mexico. Maybe the whole thing is just the front. But the understanding is that it's these bureaucrats who have this huge slush fund of money who are distributing it.

[00:15:52] So when the Democrats are complaining that Elon is doing something unconstitutional, no, he's not. All he's doing is saying, hey, look, you appropriated $50 million for democracy in Mexico. Here's a program that's transgender puppet shows. I don't see how that spreads democracy. I'm going to cancel that contract. And my call, which we began, we've talked about this so much on your program.

[00:16:17] If Congress wants to fund puppet shows in Mexico, then pass a legislation that funds puppet shows in Mexico. They have ceded the power of the purse to the agencies. And they've done it thinking, well, you know, Biden controls the agencies. Obama controls. Our people control the agencies. Well, now Trump controls the agencies. And Trump has put in a bunch of people who are doing really, really aggressive audits,

[00:16:46] something no Republican ever would have done. And they're saying there's a lot of junk in here and we're going to get rid of it. So, yeah, the left is losing their mind because they're losing all of their little pet projects that they are too cowardly to actually appropriate. These are all their friends. That's all getting kickbacks to them somehow. And the whole narrative of left America is unraveling. And it's glorious to see.

[00:17:14] It is glorious to see it. And some people, even conservatives, have their concern that all this is going to turn on Trump and in the midterm elections, the American people are going to go back and vote Democrat. I don't see that happening. No. And there may be a few. But when we're talking about the ones that lost their job, they weren't voting for Trump anyway. So we really didn't lose anything there. No, I think the American people realize exactly what's happening because, you know, we've done this one.

[00:17:44] When we were kids or for those of you who are parents have seen it when your kids do it. Hey, mom, can I have $50 to go to the movie? And you say, $50 to go to the movie? Well, because you know the movie doesn't cost. You want $50 to do a lot of other things. And the movie is just the excuse. Right? And so a good parent says, how about I'll drive you to the movie theater and I'll buy your tickets. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Just give me the money. Just give me the money. And I'll let you know how the movie is. Right?

[00:18:13] That's what government has been doing to us for generations. A long time. And that's why we're $36 trillion in debt. And, you know, we're going to find out, and I don't like to say it out loud, but I will. We're going to find out. It ain't just the Democrats hiding stuff. Oh, no. We're going to find it out because it's been going on. And this is only, of course, they're into the Department of Education now. But this is only one department, this USAID. It's only one. They're doing it in others.

[00:18:39] And so when the Democrats get up there and have their little hissy fits and call for violence in the streets again and impeachments again, you know, they're saying, Elon's unconstitutional because he wasn't elected. None of those bureaucrats were elected. None of them. I mean, they're because Congress put these departments in place. Well. Yeah. They're all guilty. And, you know, Bill Kristol, one of the most. Oh, my gosh.

[00:19:07] Used to be one of the most influential conservative voices in media, leader of the conservative never Trump movement. You realize he was on the dole. Bill Kristol started some fake group and he declared himself the president of the group and they were getting money from USAID. So you're absolutely right. I generalize when I say it to the Democrats. It is a bipartisan because there's a lot of bad people in Washington, D.C.

[00:19:33] And if you have someone who's, quote unquote, conservative, like Bill Kristol, who is milking the taxpayer out of money so that he can have a nice living, that's just grift. It's theft. It's immoral. And it's why any organization that controls large sums of money tends to eventually, sadly, fall into corruption. And I say this as a Catholic, Holy Mother Church falls into corruption, right?

[00:20:02] Large homeowners association with pockets of money falls into corruption. Schools, look at Harvard and Yale and Columbia with their billions in endowments fall into corruption. When there's big sums of money without accountability, bad things happen. It's biblical. We know this just from human nature. It is. And I think Elon is uncovering a lot of that and it's driving people insane. And that is a good thing.

[00:20:29] It's never going to be easy to make America great again. And it is going to be very painful and difficult because we've, it's very easy. I talked about this as well. It's very easy to get fat, right? No one tries. I love that analogy. No one struggles to get fat. You just do it because you're lazy. And America is fat. And now we have to get in shape and it is going to be very painful to get back in shape.

[00:20:54] And that's my concern is when the subsidies and maybe some of the grants and things are removed. I don't expect them to remove them all. But when some of them are removed, then people might say, wait a minute here. But they're not getting in. I think they're going to find Medicare fraud, but they're not going to take Medicare away from the people or Medicaid away from the people or Social Security away from the people that belong to the people. But I think when they get in there, they will find fraud. I believe they will.

[00:21:24] 100%. It makes you wonder how much they say you can't touch Medicaid. It's a trillion dollars going to sick elderly. Now you wonder how much is really getting to the sick and elderly? How much is really getting to the people who need it and how much is just stolen? And I think that's why the anger is so off the chart because I think the more we dig into it, are we really spending $800 billion on military, on defense?

[00:21:51] Or are we spending $400 billion and a couple other $100 billion is stolen? I wouldn't be surprised if the corruption is so severe that we realize we actually have a lot more money that can go back to the taxpayers than we realize. I hope so. And I hope that's what it'll do. I hope they don't start another department to take it all or something. They'll throw it into some other little basket, you know, take the apples out of one and put it in the other.

[00:22:16] But, you know, when my oldest son, when he was going to college and he went to a private college, it was the Baptist College down in Bolivar, Southwest Baptist down there in Bolivar. And he studied in music, ministry. And we tried, I mean, he was our fit. I mean, we had five children. We were not rich people. But we could not get a Pell Grant for him. We made too much money.

[00:22:45] Oh, you know, we struggle just to keep shoes on everybody. But we made too much money. And we didn't spend on brand names or anything like that. But we couldn't get a Pell Grant. And neither could the next son. We couldn't get that kind of help. Now, the fourth one went into the service and he got a GI thing. But, yeah, they haven't been there for the average people. Now, some people got them. I understand that. But it's been crazy. And it's the average people who voted for this president and are going to be happy to see the results.

[00:23:14] I think you're absolutely right. We're winning. Isn't that what he says? We're still winning. And I'm not getting tired of it yet. You have a great weekend. You take care of yourself, Daniel. Good to be with you. Thank you. God bless. You're listening to CSE Talk Radio. This is Beth Ann. It's Friday. And we're winning, America. It's going to have a little pain to it. But everything does. What does it say about beauty? Beauty takes a little pain. America's going to be beautiful. But we've got to go through this transformation.

[00:28:14] But the Transportation Secretary, Sean Duffy, accused former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of distorting facts to cover up her family's obscene grifting via USAID after she baselessly tried to blame the Trump administration for the two plane crashes that happened after President Trump took place, took office. So how could he possibly be to blame?

[00:28:42] How could anyone be to blame for the one that we have no idea what happened yet, just fell out of the air after it took off? How can, you know, I mean, he'd only been in office for, what, 10 days, if that long? Excuse me. Anyway, so they were having it back and forth. And he goes on in this, and the person who wrote this is Deborah Hine.

[00:29:07] And she goes on in here and explains who the people were and what happened with the Black Hawk helicopter. Remember when they told us those weren't real? That was just a conspiracy theory. And now we talk about Black Hawk helicopters all the time. Well, it was a training mission, he said. So there was no compelling national security reason for an ADS-B to be turned off. And I don't know what that is, but Rudy doesn't either, because it's a military thing.

[00:29:37] Duffy's dust-up with Clinton began Wednesday after he announced on social media that he was working with government efficiency czar Elon Musk's young but top-notch Doge team. Now, that was something I was going to try and ask or talk with Daniel about, is this young team. And the big news, I talked to Doge, she said.

[00:30:05] They are going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system. So the aviation system needs to be upgraded. They're getting it done. Duffy's only been in there, what, two weeks now? Maybe three? They have no relevant experience, is what Hillary was saying. Most of them aren't even old enough to rent a car. Now, she's probably right about that. You have to be 25 to rent a car. I know this.

[00:30:31] My son, who became a highway patrolman, had car trouble. Not his patrol car, his personal car. And he needed to leave it in the shop. Now, this guy can ticket you. He can arrest you.

[00:30:46] But at that point in time in his life, at 21 years old, he could not rent a car or have a loaner car from the mechanics because he wasn't 25 and he couldn't be insured. So she's absolutely correct. Now, think about that. This kid and others, he's not the only highway patrolman out there that was 21 years old. He was the youngest one on the force whenever he started.

[00:31:16] He's not anymore. Anyway, she goes on, and you're going to let them mess with airline safety that's already deteriorated on your watch. Well, Hillary, it didn't deteriorate the day that Duffy became. I mean, this happened the next day. He was confirmed, and the next day, these accidents happened. That weekend. You can't blame Duffy.

[00:31:49] Duffy shot back. Madam Secretary, with all due respect, experienced Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation's infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out. Well, he was kind of kind to her. I'm not going to be so kind. I think I would say, hey, Miss Madam, you were the one sleeping during the Benghazi attack on Americans.

[00:32:16] Or did you plan to have Ambassador Stevens murdered and drug through the streets? At this point in your life, Madam, I'd say, if I was you, I'd stay very quiet because we all know you are a corrupt politician gangster. Robbing from the American people and making yourself very wealthy.

[00:32:42] Oh, and remember, how many times the American people rejected you for president. It was at least three times. So if I was you, I'd disappear from politics and I would shut up. So I don't know who she thinks she is, but she has, I mean, no American can believe that Duffy or Trump were at fault. The next day, Duffy was elected, was confirmed, the crash happened.

[00:33:11] And then it was not even a week later. It was the weekend. It was a week later, wasn't it? When the second crash happened. But it was not an in-air crash. It was something happened with that airplane. We don't know what. We do not know what. So let's move on because there's lots of things to discuss. And I do want to discuss what's going to happen this weekend with the Super Bowl.

[00:33:40] I think it's worth saying. Now, as I went through the First Amendment, how important it is in my monologue, I did not mention in there how some of these. Now, this USDAIS has been used to funnel money, laundering money.

[00:34:06] So while they might not have got a direct money from the USDIS, some of these medias did get money. Large sums of money. And this is coming from the National Pulse. It says,

[00:34:50] So when we have these Democrat congressional members like Schumer and Mad Max and Rams, it's not his name. I lost his name. Jamie Raskin. Cory Booker is a very wealthy black man. His parents were wealthy. He was raised very well.

[00:35:18] When we have them standing there, AOC, Omar, and all this, standing there complaining about Elon not being constitutional, and now they want to, you know why they want to impeach Trump? You know why they want to impeach Trump? Because he mentioned rebuilding Gaza. He mentioned it.

[00:35:47] He doesn't have a plan on the paper yet. He hasn't bought it yet, and I don't think that's the plan. It is fun to watch them go nuts. But at the same time, it's disgusting. These are people that are supposed to be running this country. They're not running this country. Well, they're running it into the ground. Well, anyway, let's go on with this. The details. This week, Doge discovered that the U.S. Agency for International Department, let's just say it, OSAID,

[00:36:16] had paid anti-Trump legacy media outlets like Politico $8.4 million in fees to fiscal year of 2024 alone. On Wednesday, the White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt told the press, I can confirm that more than $8 million tax dollars that have gone to essentially subsidizing subscriptions to Politico

[00:36:45] on the American taxpayer's dime will no longer be happening. So they didn't give them a straight-out donation. They bought $8 million worth of subscriptions. So technically, it wasn't a donation. Technically, $8 million. How much is a subscription? We should look that up. How much is a subscription to Politico? Yeah, I don't think we can afford it. Not even one? Not at $8 million?

[00:37:15] I mean, we're going to look that up during the break. I hear the music. We're going to look, how much is a subscription to Politico? Anyway, there's more to this, and then I want to discuss the national anthem and the black national anthem that are going to be sung at the Super Bowl this Sunday when the Chiefs go for a, what do they call it? A three-peat. Yeah. We're going to watch that and have some pizza.

[00:39:12] The American Crisis Continues informed me about the battle between good and evil. It inspired me to get involved in the author's quest to bring America home to God, family, and country. At a time in history when America is being attacked from within by those who have a secular, socialist view of America, this book quenched my thirst for a perspective of the America I know and love. Learn about America's founding principles.

[00:39:37] How do the grievances in 1776 compare to us today? Knowledge is the key defense against the vicious enemy, tyranny. The American Crisis continues. [00:42:05] And we have returned. You're listening to CSC Talk Radio. This is Bethann. So we did a little math quickly, did a little research fastly. Politico, a one-year subscription is $200. If you buy a two-year subscription, it's $350. So if you divide that, we're just going to make it an 80... Was it $80 million? $8 million. $8 million. Okay. Rudy was doing the math. That's a good thing

[00:42:35] because I can't remember the numbers. In one year, that would be 40,000 subscriptions. A two-year one would be 23,000 subscriptions. I'm not sure what they did with all those because I think they're... Are they online or is it paper? I think it's just online. Anyway, that's where our money goes to Politico. Okay. Anyway, that was good enough. That's all you need. Freedom.

[00:43:04] Going back to our First Amendment, freedom of the press is not paid for by the government political parties. Now, I know this was the Democrats that were doing this in the USAID through that. Funneling money through these departments. We will find this out in other departments. So, hang on. America, we can soon change the... What do they call it? The belt hole.

[00:43:33] You can change the belt because we're going to get skinny. Our government's going to get skinny. And so, we're going to be able to tighten our belt just a little bit because we can. All right? So, hang on. Hang on to that. I want to share a little funny with you before we move on. I get these things and I normally don't look at them but this morning I did and I just thought some of them were really cute. This is a little button

[00:44:02] to where I speak fluent sarcasm. Have you ever met anybody like that? I can be pretty sarcastic sometimes. Note to self, it's illegal to stab people for being stupid. We saw some stupid people being interviewed last night and this morning. It was just crazy. It was one of those women wearing those funny pink hats that apparently maybe that's what she was thinking with was that instead of her brain or maybe she doesn't have a brain, maybe it's too tight. Anyway, it was comical.

[00:44:32] I wished I could show it to you but it was on Twitter and I can't show it to you. It says, I'm stuck between, it says we're going into a weekend. I'm stuck between I need to save money and you only live once. Don't take life too seriously. It is not like you're going to get out of it alive anyway, you know. And this one was for our generation. I think most of you listening are in

[00:45:01] the generation of me and Rudy or Rudy and I or whatever it's called. But my mother did not use a wooden spoon though. On my brother she used a belt, one of daddy's belts on the back side and not with the buckle like Phil will tell you. He's lying about that. And I only remember one spanking and it was with a switch. She went and got a switch off of a bush in the yard.

[00:45:32] And I think I've told you that story before. But anyway, it says, I am a wooden spoon, lead paint, no car seat, no seat belt, no bike helmet, bed of pickup riding, garden hose drinking, survivor. We rode in the back of the pickup trucks and we drank from the garden hose and it's a wonder we ever lived. It's a wonder we ever lived. All right. Let's get a little serious here. And I'm going to tell you

[00:46:02] my opinion of it. I don't think it's necessary, but at the same time I'm not going to condemn them and I'm not going to condemn the effort because we don't have anybody taking a knee these days at the football games. So they are going to have the, what they call the Black National Anthem sung. And I did a little research on this several years ago when it was a big deal and the two black men that wrote this, they didn't intend

[00:46:32] for it to be a national anthem. It just kind of came up that way because churches loved it and it became a hymn. It was a hymn. So I want to share and the reason I'm sharing the lyrics with you is because they're very beautiful. Now think about it if you, and maybe some of you are listening, I hope I have some black colored Americans listening.

[00:47:01] I hope I have Asian Americans listening. I hope I have all kinds of Hispanic Americans. I hope all of you are listening because we are one and that is the only objection that I have because we are one under those red, white, and blue stars and stripes. However, we cannot deny that we had this time in our country where we had slaves. And so I can see if I was one

[00:47:31] in that situation and that was my heritage. You know, I like to claim that I was Cherokee, that I am a 32nd Cherokee. But if I was coming out of slavery or had ancestors that did, I would think this was a good song too. Lift, this is the first, this is the first verse. Lift every voice and sing

[00:48:01] till earth and heaven ring. Ring with the harmonies of liberty. Let our rejoicing rise higher as the listening skies. Let it resound loud as the rolling sea. Sing a song full of faith that the dark past has taught us. Sing a song full of the hope that the present has brought us. Facing the rising sun of our new day begun, let us march on till victory is won.

[00:48:32] That sings about faith and hope. That's where a lot of our gospels, the black gospels, the songs that are so beautiful. They came out of these people that had hope that the next generation would be free. The last verse. God of our weary years, God of our silent tears, thou hast brought us thus far on the way.

[00:49:02] Thou who has taught, thou who has by thy might led us into the light. Keep us forever in the path, we pray. Lest our feet stray from the places our God where we met thee. Lest our hearts drunk with the wine of the world, we forget thee. Shadowed beneath thy hand, may we forever stand true

[00:49:31] to our God, true to our native land. that native land is America. They sing of their God, their faith, their hope. We can't deny that of them, but we had a war and there was a lot of white people that died to save our slaves

[00:50:01] here in America, to save the slaves. And now we have a Democrat party that wants to put them in slavery, even using their own, wanting to destroy their presence by abortion. Oh yes, it's true. So I'm not opposed as long as they stand for the national anthem that is for all people, regardless of skin color,

[00:50:30] regardless of your religion. standing for God as this country was established, one nation under God. And that's how we bring America home. Go Chiefs! Or do we simply not understand the substance and sacrifice for which we were once privileged? Liberty.

[00:52:00] Webster defines liberty as the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's life, behavior, or political views. Today we seem to want restrictions. Government micromanaging our lives? But do we realize the cost? Alexander Hamilton once stated, There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty that makes human nature rise above itself in acts of bravery and heroism. As a republic, we the people must

[00:52:29] guard the liberty of others. We must continue the enthusiasm that will make men free. Visit csctalkradio.com where Beth Ann puts enthusiasm and common sense back into American liberty as she brings America home.
